CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: We want to talk more about that Virginia shooting and the investigation into the sniper attacks in general, although the sniper has not been connected to the Virginia shooting as of yet, if it will be.
CNN's Eric Philips joins us live from Rockville, Maryland with the latest from there.
You know, Eric, there were more witnesses to this shooting. There may have been security cameras in that parking garage. If this shooting is connected to the sniper, it seems like he's getting more brazen.
ERIC PHILIPS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: It would seem that way. Like you said, possible security cameras, although we do not know that for a fact. Many more people around than for any of the other shootings, lots of people seeing things, hearing things, being able to give police witness accounts of what happened last night.
Certainly, he's getting more brazen by the day, although he was quite brazen last Friday in that shooting in Fredericksburg, Virginia, when he shot a 53-year-old Philadelphia man within eyesight and earshot of a police officer.
So, certainly, this sniper, or snipers, is a very brazen, bold person, who is tempting police and perhaps getting some pleasure out of the fact that he's been able to get away with this so far.
COSTELLO: The other thing I wanted to ask you about, this latest shooting happened in a strip mall in Falls Church, which is about six miles outside of Washington, D.C., there was another Michaels Craft store there.
Unfortunately, your window is closing, Eric. We don't have time to let you answer that question.
But we did do some computer work this morning, and I just want to tell our viewers that we have found that at least five shootings, one of which has not been connected officially to the sniper yet, were near Michaels Craft stores.
Don't know if that means anything. It's just another interesting aspect of this case of the sniper in the Washington, D.C. area.
