DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: You saw what the snow looks like in Washington, D.C. That huge winter storm is now moving up the East Coast. It's affecting air travel all across the country.
Rally Caparas is Travelocity's air traffic expert. He's joining us live. He is at CNN Center in Atlanta this morning.

Rally, good morning.

RALLY CAPARAS, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Daryn, good morning.

Thank you very much.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, lots going on in the Northeast. Let's go directly to the graphics. You'll see 2,000 airplanes in the sky right now talking to air traffic control. You'll see the weather moving around, and this is how it's going to affect you today. If you're headed into the airports in the Northeast, at Boston, New York- LaGuardia, JFK or Newark Liberty Airports, they're delay free at the moment, but you can count on later this morning, passengers will see 60 to 90 minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds, snow, icing and departure flight deicing will be the problems there.

Just south of them, at Philadelphia and the D.C. metro airports, you can expect to see similar delays, but they'll be just a little longer, one to two hour arrival and departure delays, because of the same conditions all day long. Just south of them at Charlotte, Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham, we're escaping the storm now on the trailing edge. Conditions should improve. We should be better conditions later. If you're flying into or out of the State of Florida, you can expect to deviate around the landing zone of the space shuttle, which will be landing at about 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. I'll have more for you in 30 minutes from Travelocity's eye in the sky.

Back to Daryn and Bill in New York.

KAGAN: All right, thank you so much.
