BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: To Baghdad, where the inspectors continue to work again today.
Rym Brahimi is in the Iraqi capital, and joins us now live with more from there.

Rym -- good afternoon to you.

RYM BRAHIMI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good afternoon, Bill.

Well, as you know, the U.N. inspectors here received some reinforcements yesterday. They're going to receive some more. Well, some of those inspectors that arrived yesterday literally hit the ground running, because they were out today with the inspections team, two teams, as always, Bill.

One of them, the nuclear team, went to a site that they've already visited twice before. It's a very big site. It's got more than 100 buildings -- hundreds of buildings, so it's going to take them a while to get that done.

Now, the other team went up to a site about 40 miles northwest of Baghdad. That site is believed to have been in the past linked to Iraq's production of chemical weapons.

Now, our senior correspondent, Nic Robertson, described it as a site that may have already been bombed in 1991 or 1998. He said he saw a few dozen inspectors, and they were wearing protective clothing, and we'll be bringing you more on that later, Bill.

Meanwhile, here in Baghdad, well, the newspapers are continuing their campaign, telling Iraqis that the inspectors should be allowed to do their work fairly. If they're allowed to be neutral, if they're allowed to do their work properly, well, they will be able to prove to the world that Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction. And again, reiterating their firm belief that the United States is not interested in disarmament, but just wants to destroy Iraq -- Bill.

HEMMER: Rym, thank you -- Rym Brahimi again in Baghdad.
