BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: The other part of the story goes to the U.N., where the U.S. and other permanent members of the Security Council will get an unedited look of Iraq's declaration. This announcement coming down last night.
And Michael Okwu this morning is there to track it for us.

Michael, good morning.

MICHAEL OKWU, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Bill, good morning to you. We know at this point that the United States actually is looking over that document. We know that they have an unedited, unsanitized copy in their mitts probably right now at the U.S. mission. Now, we know also there are indications that the United States was in the position as early as last night to receive this document or at least during the very wee hours of this morning.

We know that the Security Council will be meeting this morning at 10:00 eastern standard time this morning, Bill, where they will be talking ostensibly about other issues, but you can sure bet that the issue of the Iraqi declaration will come up during the conversations, and that the nonpermanent members of the Security Council, those members of the council who do not have veto power, will likely bring up the issue of why it is they can't have access to this unsanitized copy -- Bill.

HEMMER: The way things are going, perhaps that will change too, as well. We'll see.

Thank you, Michael. Michael Okwu at the U.N. this morning.
