JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: It doesn't look like the market is ready to mount another big winning streak just yet. Let's get an early read on the stock market from Andy Serwer, who is here, "minding your business" -- good morning.
ANDY SERWER, EDITOR AT LARGE, "FORTUNE": Jack, good morning to you. Stocks are falling this morning on Wall Street, not really surprising given the news out of the United Airlines shakeup and the president's economic team, that's unsettling as well. The Dow is down about 80 points, Nasdaq down about 17 points.

Also, Wal-Mart saying, You know that big winter storm? I always wonder about these guys -- yes, it did hurt shopping. No one went to the stores for about three days there in a large part of the country. So Wal-Mart saying that's hurting them. That stock is down a little bit today.

CAFFERTY: Value added here on AMERICAN MORNING, we have the Serwer barometer for how to discern a good PC company from a not so good PC company.

SERWER: Yes -- it's not -- it's not very hard. If you work for Dell, Dell is giving its employees Christmas week off with pay. That's a good thing.

CAFFERTY: That's a good thing.

SERWER: Now, if you work for Gateway or Hewlett-Packard, they're giving you the week off without pay.

CAFFERTY: Are there any...

SERWER: Which company would you rather work for?

CAFFERTY: Are there any PC companies making you work Christmas without pay? That's a real bad company.

SERWER: Yes -- that's CNN. No.

CAFFERTY: Oh, that would be CNN.

SERWER: Do we make computers? No.

Anyway, listen, Martha Stewart hasn't been in the news a lot, and where are the government regulators, investigators here? Are they going to press charges here or not?

CAFFERTY: What's going to happen?

SERWER: I don't know. Anyway, ask.com, which used to be askjeeves or still is, the most searched corporate executive on their Web site, Martha Stewart. Did you think it was going to be Dennis Kozlowski (ph)?

CAFFERTY: You might have something to do with that, you know.

SERWER: I kept searching over and over.

CAFFERTY: No, no, I mean, you've given a little publicity here.

SERWER: Well, maybe that is right.

CAFFERTY: Talking about her over the weeks and months.

SERWER: Anyway, listen, viewers send us crazy stuff, they send us good stuff. A guy named Peter Cagle (ph) has sent us this dart board, Martha Stewart dart board.

CAFFERTY: All right. Not a bad looking picture.

SERWER: He's from Key West. Yes -- I don't know. I kind of think that you might want to find something else to do -- what about putting Saddam or bin Laden?

CAFFERTY: Turn that thing around here, and let's try it out.

SERWER: You want to try...

CAFFERTY: I got the darts.

SERWER: I'm not holding it near me. I'll hold it near Bill Hemmer.

CAFFERTY: Just hold it out right there. You ready.

SERWER: Go.

CAFFERTY: Wait -- missed her.

SERWER: Ow.

CAFFERTY: I get three shots. Closer. This is it, Martha...

SERWER: Not bad.

CAFFERTY: That was from a distance of 12 inches.

SERWER: That's not bad. I think, come on, let's have a bin Laden dart board, or Saddam dart board. Leave Martha I think, right? If you are going to file some charges, then we'll make a dart board.

CAFFERTY: All right. Fair enough. Thanks, Andy.

SERWER: All right. We'll see you later. CAFFERTY: Andy Serwer, "Minding Your Business."
