Holiday Shoppers Make Last Shopping Runs

PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: And attention procrastinators. Yes, we mean many of you men out there. There are a few precious hours left to finish your Christmas shopping. Not surprisingly, many people have held out until the last chance.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Basically, 11:59 on the 24th is a typical male. Going to be out doing the shopping last minute.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It's more in the Christmas spirit, I guess people are getting desperate. The energy level is higher. And I just think it's outstanding (ph).

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There's a lot of good sales, but there's also a lot of stuff that's picked over. So all the popular sizes aren't really available and it's a little bit harder to find. But it's just as much fun.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And the procrastinator, and there's better sales, anyway, at the last minute if you can find what you want.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Most of it's been done with my -- Christmas with my family, and they're wrapped (ph). I'm just trying to see about the sales and fill in on things.

ZAHN: There's so many sales going on (ph), but some of us have to go to work.
