PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Well, you've seen a lot of him lately, U.N. chief weapons inspector Hans Blix in the limelight as one of the world's most recognizable faces. He has a lot of autograph seekers.
And our Richard Roth, who basically lives at the U.N., was sitting nearby as Hans Blix was returning from Iraq.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
KATHY: I would like to ask you to have your autograph.
HANS BLIX, CHIEF U.N. WEAPONS INSPECTOR: Of course.
KATHY: And I'm very proud to have you sitting next to me. I see you on the television every day.
BLIX: OK.
KATHY: So, I'll show that to my friends.
BLIX: (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
KATHY: Thank you. My name is Kathy (ph).
BLIX: I thought it was a nice article, not one of the nasty ones.
KATHY: It's, whatever you do is nice. And my name is Kathy.
BLIX: My name is Hans.
KATHY: Thank you. All right.
RICHARD ROTH, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): You wrote over your own body.
KATHY: What did you write?
BLIX: My name.
KATHY: Right here.
BLIX: Yes. With a white background.
KATHY: Oh, very nice. Thank you so much.
BLIX: You're welcome. KATHY: Thank you. Thank you. He write it right over there. He didn't write my name, though.
BLIX: Kathy?
KATHY: What is it?
BLIX: Do you want it, too?
KATHY: To Kathy.
BLIX: All right.
KATHY: Yes, of course.
ROTH: You're awfully demanding of the chief U.N. weapons inspector.
KATHY: He is a nice man. Whatever he writes, I know is a...
BLIX: (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
KATHY: OK.
BLIX: OK.
KATHY: Whatever he writes is going to be true because he seems a very honest man and very down to earth. And whatever he says is going to be it. He's a very fair man.
