BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: All right. It is Valentine's Day, and in the interest of love, we have a special treat. Lance Corporal Brent Sheets is 20 years old. He is from China Grove, North Carolina. Good evening to you. Where is China Grove, by the way?
LANCE CORP. BRENT SHEETS, U.S. MARINE CORPS: It's a little bit outside of Charlotte, sir.
HEMMER: I see. OK. You have a girlfriend, right?
SHEETS: Yes, sir.
HEMMER: Her name is Amanda Grubb?
SHEETS: Yes, sir.
HEMMER: She's 19.
SHEETS: Nineteen years old.
HEMMER: How long have you been dating?
SHEETS: We have been dating for four years, sir.
HEMMER: Four years. Where did you guys meet?
SHEETS: We met in high school, sir.
HEMMER: Isn't that lovely? High school sweethearts.
SHEETS: Yes, sir.
HEMMER: Well, it just so happens, Brent, that we have got Amanda on the phone, and why don't you go and say hello real quick.

GRUBB: Yes?
SHEETS: I love you with all my heart, and I want to ask you a very special question.
GRUBB: OK.
SHEETS: I want to spend the rest of life -- I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
GRUBB: I love you.
SHEETS: Will you marry me?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, I will. Yes, I will.
SHEETS: Thank you, baby. I love you, too.
HEMMER: How about that?
(APPLAUSE)
HEMMER: That was the easy part? Not much suspense.
SHEETS: No.
HEMMER: Hey, listen, Amanda, if you are on the line real quick, tell us what you like the most about your now fiance.
GRUBB: Everything! I love everything about him. He's so funny.
HEMMER: Sweet.
SHEETS: I love you, too, baby.
GRUBB: I love you.
HEMMER: Sweet.
SHEETS: I'll be hope soon, all right?

SHEETS: And I can't wait to see you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
