BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Six thousand Marines out here, 6,000 men. We found four women. There's 14 total out here, and Captain Susan Thompson (ph) is what -- I guess the senior ranking woman out here, right?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Correct.

HEMMER: And earlier today, you told me that some of the Marines under your command, 200 strong, are...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, I wasn't talking about the Marines under my command. The Marines under my command are hard -- hard dogs. I was talking about the...

HEMMER: But the other ones, you were talking about softies.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That's right. That's right. This is the Combat Service Support Element to 5th Marine Regiment, and we're out here charging with the rest of the 5th Marines.

HEMMER: For the women at home watching this, can you give us a sense of what it's like to be a woman out here, surrounded in the desert by all these men?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: After a couple of days without a shower, it's about all the same.

HEMMER: Is that right. All right. Good luck to you. Your husband is at home, is that right?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He is. This is my husband, Captain Gary D. Thompson (ph).

HEMMER: Awesome. Great stuff. Getting a flyover, aren't we.

Hey quickly, where is Crockett (ph)? Come in here. Paula, this is Crockett (ph). His first name is David, right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

HEMMER: Honestly, his name is Davey Crockett (ph). He's got a wife and four kids at home. Say hello real quick.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hi, Tracy. Thanks for 12 wonderful years and four great kids. I love you.

HEMMER: Awesome. Awesome. OK. You are out of here. He's been waiting four hours to do that. David, thank you. Very nice. Thanks, everyone. Good luck to you.
