CHAD MYERS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: We're still seeing some light snow. Nothing to get excited about today. All the snow, the heaviest stuff, north of Boston into Maine. And Maine didn't get very much. So five or six inches there.
Back out to the West, though, Paula, this is the developing storm that we're watching. It's going to be moving all the way down into parts of the Southeast and then right on up into the Northeast for Friday into Saturday. That could slow things down, but it's very slow right now.
And here's Rally Caparas to tell us about that.
Rally, downstairs.
RALLY CAPARAS, TRAVELOCITY: Thanks a bunch, Chad.
Well, I'm seeing over 1,000 cancellations for the major airports from Boston all the way down to the D.C. metropolitan areas. If you're going to want to find out, and you will, if you want to find out what the status of your flight is, please, go online to your airport's Web site or your airline's Web site and check there. Don't bother calling. You'll be waiting forever.
Here's what's going to happen for you, folks. If you're headed into Boston, Newark or JFK Airports today, you're going to see a makeshift schedule. That's going to be everybody actually, for that matter, snow deicing, snow removal, big problems there.
LaGuardia, they're not even scheduled to open up until 11:00 a.m. this morning, so obvious cancellations and long waits going into and out of LaGuardia.
Philadelphia, they're open, but long waits into and out of that airport. For the few airplanes that are flying, they're already seeing 70 minute arrival delays. That's how bad it is.
Baltimore-Washington International open for departures only until 3:00 p.m. Then they're hoping to get some arriving aircraft in. Reagan's just now opening. It's going to be very slow.
Paula, if people are flying out of Florida, headed into the Northeast, you're going to see long delays down in Florida getting to those airports -- Paula, back to you.
I'll be back in 30 minutes with the latest.
PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: It sounds like a very good day not to be in a hurry.
Thanks, Rally.
CAPARAS: Sure.
