PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Time to talk business with Andy Serwer.
What's up this morning?

ANDY SERWER, "FORTUNE" MAGAZINE: Good morning.

Well, they're calling it the "bear March" this month already. A dreadful day on Wall Street yesterday. Stocks slid all day, down 132 points on the Dow. You can see there. Nasdaq, S&P also down.

What’s happening? People are doing two things on Wall Street, Paula. They're either sitting on their hands or they're selling. Volume is continuing to dry up, which is bad. That is a sign of a bear market.

ZAHN: Or if they're Warren Buffett, they're not buying at all.

SERWER: They're not buying at all. That's the sitting on your hands part.

Futures are flat this morning.

I was doing my online column after the close yesterday, just sort of ticking through all of the bad news in the markets. I got to about 18 specific little pieces of news, and I just stopped counting. So, that's what we're looking at today.

I also want to talk quickly about the $20 bill if we have a moment.

ZAHN: Is it getting a makeover? Is it true?

SERWER: A makeover. We are learning here that we're getting a makeover on the $20 bill. You can see this is an old one. I should make that very clear. What's happening here -- thank you, Paula.

ZAHN: Yes, let's make it stay straight there.

SERWER: This one got a makeover back in '96, '98. Before that, it was 70 years. What's going on here, the counterfeiters are catching up. The big news is color. They're going to be adding color to the $20 bill, and they're going to give A.J. -- that would be Andrew Jackson -- a makeover. Look for that coming this fall. They'll be rolling it out in March.

ZAHN: So, he remains on the bill. It's just going to look a little different. SERWER: Yes.

ZAHN: Thanks, Andy.

SERWER: OK.
