PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Time to get the latest war developments from Renay San Miguel.

RENAY SAN MIGUEL, CNN ANCHOR: 2:12 a.m.: CNN's Martin Savidge reports U.S. Marines are searching one of Saddam Hussein's presidential palaces. Savidge says their looking for clues to where the regime's leaders have gone, or hints about whether Iraq is hiding weapons of mass destruction.

2:45 a.m.: CNN's Jane Arraf reports from near the town of Irbil that she's seeing Abrams tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers traveling the roads. She says the U.S. heavy armor is there to consolidate advances toward Mosul and Kirkuk.

3:39 a.m.: Martin Savidge reports Marines are using explosives to help civilians destroy another statue of Saddam Hussein in downtown Baghdad.

3:44 a.m.: CNN's Jason Bellini reports from central Baghdad that all of the bridges in the Iraqi capital are closed, except for coalition military traffic.

5:26 a.m.: CNN's Brent Sadler reports from the town of Khanaqin in northern Iraq, which he says is part of a huge area now in the hands of Kurdish fighters.

6:05 a.m.: From U.S. Central Command, CNN's Tom Mintier reports U.S. troops today targeted a mosque in Baghdad where senior Iraqi leaders were believed to be meeting. CENTCOM spokesman Captain Frank Thorp says no one was captured.

6:09 a.m.: CNN's Ben Wedeman reports from the city of Kirkuk that the Iraqi northern front is collapsing quickly, and Kurdish fighters have seized part of Kirkuk with little resistance.
