1:18 a.m. Eastern: CNN's Martin Savidge reports a sense of lawlessness in Baghdad, looting continues, most stores remain closed and U.S. Marines are trying to dispose of weaponry left behind by Iraqi forces.
2:33 a.m.: CNN's Ben Wedeman reports from Kirkuk that U.S. forces are moving into the northern Iraqi city in greater numbers after the city fell to Kurdish fighters yesterday. U.S. troops are also working to secure oil fields around Kirkuk.
