CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Now on to Iraq, where officials have arrested more of the 55 most wanted from the country's now toppled regime. They're in custody now.
Rym Brahimi live in Baghdad following the latest developments.
Good morning, Rym.
RYM BRAHIMI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning to you, Carol.
Indeed, there's two more people in custody here apparently in Baghdad. U.S. Central Command saying that under arrest are Abdul Tawaw Mulahuwaysh (ph). Now he was the minister of military industrialization, and he was also a deputy prime minister, someone who was quite close to the president, but obviously of interest to the United States, which would be why he ranks number 16 out of the 55 most wanted, because he's believed to have links to alleged weapons programs.
The other person that was arrested was Tahim Makdah Maruf (ph). Now he was vice president, and also member of the Revolution Command Council, and that body was the highest authority in the country under the previous regime, so somebody very close to President Saddam Hussein. There again, he ranks number 42 in the 55 most wanted list. That brings the number of members of the Iraqi leadership in U.S. custody to 17 to this day -- Carol.
COSTELLO: Rym Brahimi, reporting live from Baghdad.
