HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: We begin this morning with the festivities all across America. We have our reporters spread out to bring you the holiday observances, both old and new.
Keith Oppenheim is getting set up at Mount Rushmore, a lot going on there this morning, and our Jason Carroll is in Philadelphia, Michael Okwu is at Coney Island and David Mattingly is in Atlanta.

We begin this morning with Jason Carroll.

Hey -- Jason.

JASON CARROLL, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hey there to you there, Heidi.

And what better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than to open a museum dedicated to the Constitution. That's what they're doing right here in Philadelphia. It hasn't opened to the public yet, but we’ve got a sneak preview. We're going to be showing you that coming right up -- Heidi.

COLLINS: Very good. Looking forward to it. Thanks so much, Jason.

And now David Mattingly.

Hi -- David.

DAVID MATTINGLY, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Heidi.

Here in Atlanta, one of the big southern traditions for the Fourth of July holiday is the Peach Tree Road Race, one of the biggest 10K events in the country, 55,000 runners of all ages, 200,000 spectators.

And just in a short while, we're going to start seeing some of the participants coming right up this hill behind me -- Heidi.

COLLINS: All right, David, thanks so much. We look forward to that as well.

And, a little bit later on, we will have Michael Okwu at Coney Island for the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.
