FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: The Harley-Davidson cast as unique and irresistible spell on everyone. Celebrities and ordinary folks alike have been seduced for years by its classic lines and the power and of course sound. Harley owners Mike Hazlett, who's on the left there, and David Sharpe are among the many who have made the pilgrimage to Milwaukee, which is the Mecca for die-hard hog fans. Good to see both of you.
DAVID SHARPE, HARLEY OWNER: Hi, Melissa.

MIKE HAZLETT, HARLEY OWNER: How you doing?

WHITFIELD: OK, it's Fredricka, but Melissa works.

(CROSSTALK)

WHITFIELD: You guys got your bikes right there. You made the jaunt up to Milwaukee from as far away as where, Mike?

HAZLETT: I'm from Mandover (ph), Ohio.

WHITFIELD: OK. And you, David?

SHARPE: I drove up from Phoenix City, Alabama.

WHITFIELD: OK, and while you were making the journey to Milwaukee, were you finding it was easy to make fast friends, others on hogs along the way?

SHARPE: Oh, absolutely.

HAZLETT: Oh, yes.

SHARPE: It's like a brotherhood you know. You don't know a stranger anywhere.

(CROSSTALK)

WHITFIELD: I'm sorry. Mike, describe for me what you're seeing there in Milwaukee. I understand tens of thousands of folks have come there. Some who are novice bike riders, some who have only known but to ride a Harley-Davidson all their lives.

HAZLETT: Yes, that's what you got. You got a little bit of both here. But everybody that comes here is here for the same thing. We love our motorcycles, and we're here to have a great time and meet good people.

And we traveled a long way. I've been out since July 31. I come from Ohio to Sturgis for Bike Week there. Then we left there and went to Vegas. Then we go from Vegas to here.

WHITFIELD: Since July? Oh, my gosh. You are a diehard.

HAZLETT: We got, like, 4,300 miles in on this trip.

WHITFIELD: Wow, that's incredible.

SHARPE: It's a good ride.

WHITFIELD: No kidding that's a great ride.

All right, so, David, I understand there are an awful lot of celebrities who are there, who are kind of mixed in with the ordinary folks, with the die-hard hog fans out there. And even over the next few days, it's quite the, kind of entertainment industry of sorts involving a lot of musicians, it's music, ten stages, et cetera. What kind of artists or who have you seen, actually, along the way so far?

SHARPE: You know, actually, I haven't seen one yet. But when we were riding up a few days ago in Illinois we had these people lined up across the bypass, the overpasses and they were waving at us as we drove up there. And I'm thinking, Boy, how did they know I was coming.

But then I found out later, it was supposed to be for Jay Leno and his entourage.

WHITFIELD: Oh, you're kidding.

SHARPE: So, so far I haven't seen one yet. No, ma'am.

WHITFIELD: OK, well David Sharpe and Mike Hazlett, thanks very much for joining us from Milwaukee. And I know you guys are going to have a great time. It sounds like you're already having a good time and all kinds of artists like Kansas, .38 Special, the Doobie Brothers all going to there to help ring in this 100th celebration of Harley- Davidson.
