BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: The FBI is joining the search for a missing family in rural Mississippi. It is a mystery today. Michael Hargon, his wife Rebecca and their 4-year-old son Patrick last seen on Saturday. Police found blood, bullet holes and shell casing inside the home and some outside, but still do not know what led to the disappearance.
Marcia Hirtz and Elizabeth Moore are Rebecca Hargon's sisters and they're with us this morning in Vaughan, Mississippi.
And we certainly appreciate the time that you're giving us today during a difficult time for your family.
Marcia, first to you.
What are police telling you about the evidence?
Can you hear me OK, Marcia? Bill Hemmer, CNN, New York.
If you can hear me, what are police telling you about their investigation?
All right, clearly, a bit of difficulty with our signal there. We apologize to our viewers and certainly to Marcia and Elizabeth, standing by in Mississippi.
We'll try and reestablish the connection and get back to it in a moment here.
Let's get a break.

HEMMER: We are going to try this yet again in Vaughn, Mississippi.
Standing by, Marcia Hirtz and Elizabeth Moore, the sister and family missing.
We apologize about the trouble we had a short time ago.
Marcia, I'll try my question again to you.
What are police telling you about where they stand on this investigation?
MARCIA HIRTZ, REBECCA HARGON'S SISTER: Right now the evidence is still being processed so we don't really know much at this time.
HEMMER: Is there a working theory, though?
HIRTZ: I'm sorry?
HEMMER: Is there a working theory police are working from now?
HIRTZ: We're not aware of one, no.
HEMMER: What have they said about bullets inside the house, bullets outside the house, some blood, etc?
HIRTZ: I'm sorry?
HEMMER: Yes, what are they saying about the bullets that were found both inside the house, bullet holes outside?
HIRTZ: None of the evidence has come back from the lab, so we don't really -- we don't know much about that.
HEMMER: Elizabeth, tell us a little bit about your sister and the relationship she has with her husband and her son.
ELIZABETH MOORE, REBECCA HARGON'S SISTER: Rebecca was my best friend. She was an awesome mother, a very caring and loving wife, always putting others before herself.
HEMMER: What about her relationship with her husband? How close were they?
HIRTZ: They had a good relationship. They were a loving family.
HEMMER: And the son, James Patrick, had asthma. I understand the medicine that he was using was still found inside the home.
HIRTZ: Yes.
HEMMER: Tell us a little bit about him and tell us about why that is the case, apparently?
HIRTZ: James Patrick, he's got respiratory problems and he takes breathing treatments twice a day and also cough syrup. They were left in the house so...
HEMMER: It was about 10 years ago in that same house where Michael Hargon's father was murdered. There has been a man convicted, behind bars. He was up for parole a short time ago. The parole was denied. Based on the history inside that home and based on that man's case, is there anything that police are talking about that would take that incident from 10 years ago and apply it to what's happening today?
MOORE: We don't know anything, but to not take that into any kind of consideration, they're not trying to rule out any possibilities right now, which is a good thing. HEMMER: Well, the best of luck to you and your family. And we appreciate your sharing your story. It's got to be a very difficult time. But thanks again, Marcia and Elizabeth, down there in Vaughn, Mississippi.
