Christian Rock Star Charged With Attempted Murder for Hire

NANCY GRACE, HOST: Breaking news tonight, exclusive, San Diego suburbs. Bombshell tonight. A Christian rock star, a Grammy-nominated Christian rock star, hires a hit man to murder his wife of nine years, cops say, the mother of his children.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tim Lambesis is best known as the front man for the Grammy-nominated Christian heavy metal band As I Lay Dying.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He told me he wanted his wife gone.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: San Diego authorities arrested and charged the singer for attempting to hire a hit man for $1,000 to kill his estranged wife.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But Tim Lambesis is no longer denying that allegation. He has a new defense, steroids made him do it.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: His thought processes were dramatically impacted by the steroid use.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: An envelope with $1,000 for expenses, pictures of his wife, the address where she is living, and wrote down specific dates where he can go (INAUDIBLE)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Those dates allegedly coincided with days Lambesis would have visitation with his three children, so he would have an alibi.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I asked him, did he want me to kill his wife, and he said, Yes, I do.

GRACE: And tonight to Seattle, identical teen girl twin sisters en route to a Halloween haunted house party, when out of nowhere, a drunk driver with multiple arrests under his belt T-bones the girls` `93 Acura, both twin girls dead. Tonight, we learn just two years ago, the twins` sister also dead after a crash with a drunk driver.
What I want to know is, why weren`t these drunk driver killers behind bars?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They were born into the world together, they sang together, shared together, lived together. For 17 years, Janeah and Janesah Goheen were united in life.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This was the scene along highway 20 just outside Oak Harbor, when an oncoming driver crossed the center line and hit the girls head-on. Daylight reveals just how bad it really was. The girls had to be cut from the car. The state patrol says the driver of this Mustang that hit them was actually accelerating at the time. In the back of his car, a pamphlet for Alcoholics Anonymous.

GRACE: Also tonight, movie superstar Alec Baldwin breaks down in tears in court. Alec Baldwin, sobbing, denies sex with his female stalker, as she screams out in court, Alec, you`re lying, and insists Alec Baldwin promised to make her omelets every morning after morning sex, this after she tracks him down to his Hampton home, banging on the door while Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria hiding inside, afraid she was armed.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Baldwin choked back tears as he talked about the toll that his alleged stalker has taken on his life.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She`s a publicist and aspiring actress who gave a fiery performance in court, crying out, "Liar, liar!" as actor Alec Baldwin described her as a deranged stalker.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s easy to lie in court when you`re rich and powerful.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... repeated outbursts so bad that she`s being held in contempt of court.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I haven`t done anything. Alec was lying.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Baldwin says Sabourin (ph) was an acquaintance who imagined a romance and bombarded him with phone calls and e-mails. "I want to be your wife now. Say yes. Let me take you to nirvana now and for eternity."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She is taking the stand and testifying about their alleged affair.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She said he was very into it. She was trying to take it slow.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She says she`s not a stalker.

GRACE: Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.
Bombshell tonight. Off the top, to the exclusive San Diego suburbs. A Christian rock star, a Grammy-nominated Christian rock star, hires a hit man to murder his wife of nine years, the mother of his children, saying he`s already withdrawn $20,000, 20 grand,, to get rid of his wife, saying he wants her gone forever and ever, never to return, complaining that she was divorcing him -- this is after he`s got a lover -- and that she was not going to let him take their three children on tour with his Christian rock band.
We are taking your calls. Straight out to Ladona Harvey, a host on KOGO. Ladona, thank you for being with us. I`m stunned. A Christian rock star, Grammy-nominated, now charged with hiring a hit man to kill his wife? Why? And the defense is steroids, that he was using steroids? What, the steroids made him go get a mistress?
LADONA HARVEY, KOGO RADIO (via telephone): Well, apparently so. Apparently, they made him do a lot of things that were, oh, I don`t know, out of character. I mean, you know, he told his personal trainer that the reason that he wanted her dead was she was controlling visitations to their three children. She was spending money, money on attorneys, because she wanted a divorce. So maybe that added to the steroids made it worse? I don`t know.
GRACE: OK, but let me get this straight. This guy, a Christian rock star, he has gone to the top of the charts on multiple times, most recently Grammy-nominated. He`s the one that`s having an affair. He`s the one that is with the mistress, but he wants his wife dead and hires a hit man to do the job. Now, what about steroids?
You know what? Hold it, Ladona Harvey, KOGO host. Unleash the lawyers. Joining me tonight, Kimberly Priest Johnson, defense attorney. Also with me, veteran prosecutor Eleanor Odom. And with us out of the Atlanta jurisdiction, former prosecutor turned defense attorney Peter Odom.
Let me ask you this, Peter. The defense is that he got all caught up in the gym life, the workout life, and he suddenly is on steroids.
PETER ODOM, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right.
GRACE: Then these steroids, apparently, lead him to start having sex with a mistress. How does that work? I`ve never heard that that was a side effect of steroids.
ODOM: Well, you`re misquoting his defense, at least in part, Nancy. His defense is that...
GRACE: No, I didn`t quote the defense. I told you what happened. That was not a quote.
ODOM: The defense...
GRACE: Nor did I represent it to be a quote.
ODOM: The defense is that the steroids made him change his personality and made him maybe homicidal, made him do things that he otherwise wouldn`t have done. That`s what resulted in the threat (INAUDIBLE)
GRACE: Now, homicidal, doesn`t that mean that you are prone to commit murder, you yourself? There`s a big difference, I would think, Caryn Stark -- you`re the shrink. You know, all of us are just JDs. You`re the one with the diploma.
Caryn Stark, "homicidal" means you are prone to commit murder yourself, such as a homicidal maniac. I don`t know that that would include -- that definition would include a Christian rock star sleeping with a mistress, getting all pumped up at the gym and wanting a divorce, and hiring the a hit man to kill your wife. How does homicidal fit into that scenario?
CARYN STARK, PSYCHOLOGIST: Well, you can be Christian or not Christian, Nancy, and still have a homicidal definition attached to you, title, because it`s not normal behavior. There`s nothing normal about what he did.
GRACE: Well, what I`m saying...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: Peter is saying that steroids make you homicidal. Homicidal means that you will commit a murder, not that you will have the wherewithal and the ability to calculate and hire a hit person to kill your wife.
STARK: Well, and that...
GRACE: There`s a very different...
STARK: Right.
GRACE: ... meaning to a deranged homicidal maniac and a man who calculatedly...
STARK: That`s right.
GRACE: ... plans to kill his wife.
STARK: And that -- I agree with you, and I wanted to add that, so I`m so glad you said it because steroids -- that kind of rage that you get, it`s impulsive. It`s violent. It`s not a thoughtfully planned-out situation as occurs in this particular one.
GRACE: Everybody, you`ve been looking at video from Metal Blade Records, and you are seeing the guy facing charges that he has hired a hit man to murder his wife. His name, Timothy Lambesis, 32, husband, father of three, Christian rock star, also hires a hit man to commit murder, his wife, the mother of their three children.
All right, I just want to make sure, Peter, that your IFB is working and you heard Caryn Stark explain there`s a big difference from homicidal tendencies and homicidal range (ph) and calculatedly...
ODOM: Right.
GRACE: ... hiring a hit man to kill your wife.
PETER ODOM: His defense, apparently, is, Steroids made me stupid, and that`s why I did all these stupid things.
GRACE: That`s well said.
PETER ODOM: Now, we know -- now, we know that steroids do make people stupid, Nancy. You shouldn`t do steroids.
GRACE: That`s what you`ve got to say tonight, don`t do steroids?
PETER ODOM: That`s our defense.
GRACE: OK, good to know. Everybody, we are live and taking your calls. Out to you, Matt Zarrell. In this particular charge, cops are saying that he had already withdrawn all the money to pay the hit man, and the price was 20 grand. So really, the hit man had to do very little planning. The Christian rock star had done it all.
MATT ZARRELL, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): Yes, Nancy. In fact, when Lambesis went to meet with the undercover officer and the officer told him the price, Lambesis said, Oh, that`s not a problem. I`ve already taken the money out. I`m ready to go.
GRACE: Out to Sheryl McCollum, crime analyst and the director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute. Sheryl, it seems now everybody that tries to hire a hit man is really talking to the FBI. So how did this happen, that he hires the hit man? How did that go down?
SHERYL MCCOLLUM, CRIME ANALYST (via telephone): Well, it appears that he hired somebody that he thought would do it, but not somebody that`s a true hit man. So again, when you meet somebody at your gym, chances are they`re not really connected to the mob and they`re not really a professional hit man, Nancy. And what he thought he was doing is hiring somebody to do the murder for him so that he would have a solid alibi.
GRACE: Yes, interesting about the alibi. Back out to Ladona Harvey, afternoon host with KOGO. Ladona, he had it all laid out for the hit man for when the murder was to go down. He was supposed to be with his children. And he apparently wasn`t particular. He was telling a lot of people at Singer`s (ph) Gym that he wanted his wife dead. Of course, they`re all going to be witnesses at trial. So I guess his friends at the gym asked around and dig up a would-be hit man.
HARVEY: Well, or dig up an undercover cop, which is what he did. He talked to this trainer and said, you know, I essentially want to hire a hit man to kill my wife. And the trainer got nervous and thought, Oh, my God, I don`t want to kill anybody, went to talk to an attorney, ended up talking to the cops. And that`s when they determined that they thought that he was really serious about this. And you know, he wrote down dates that would be best for carrying out that hit because he was going to be with his kids. I mean, wow!
GRACE: I know, three children. The murder set to go down when he is with his children, and his wife alone. He didn`t care how the hit man murdered his wife. He said any way would do, just do it. Get her out of my life forever.
Everyone, tonight, a Christian rock star, a Grammy-nominated star, facing charges he hires a hit man to murder his wife.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Authorities say Tim Lambesis was working on a plan that would have left his estranged wife dead.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He said that led to an meeting with a supposed hit man nicknamed Red, in reality an undercover agent.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... and specifically asked, Do you want her dead. He said, Yes, that`s exactly what I want.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He agreed to pay Red $20,000 to kill the mother of his children and wife of eight years.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The marriage disintegrated, despite their adopting three children.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She was making it difficult for him. She wasn`t letting him see the kids, and thus he wanted her killed.

GRACE: Welcome back, everybody. We are live and taking your calls. To exclusive San Diego suburbs, a Christian rock star who has topped the charts multiple times with Christian-themed music now facing charges he hires a hit man to murder his wife to the tune of $20,000.
We are taking your calls. Back out to Matt Zarrell. Not only is it going to be witness testimony, but what about e-mails? What can you tell us about incriminating e-mails?
ZARRELL: Yes, Nancy, this all started way back when Lambesis was still on tour with his band, and he sent an e-mail to his wife, telling her that he did not love her anymore, he wanted to end the relationship, and he no longer believed in God. Now, the wife later learned that Lambesis was actually having an affair and was involved with a string of different women.
GRACE: So not just one affair. I guess that has to do with -- well, why did God get dragged into it? What does he have to do with this, Matt Zarrell?
ZARRELL: Nancy, I`m not sure, but I know that the lawyer in court keeps going back to the steroids and saying that Lambesis was not the same person. He was irritable and he lost God.
GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Kimberly Priest Johnson, Peter Odom. Now to Eleanor Odom. You know, Eleanor, I`ve seen a lot. I`ve seen, I was drunk, so I should be set free. I was on drugs, so I should be set free. But steroids?
ELEANOR ODOM, PROSECUTOR: Well, of course, Nancy, because that can put you into one of those `roid rages that you`ve heard of. So that`s a good excuse. But don`t these defendants always blame someone else? Either some other dude did it or, Well, if I did it, then it was because of some substance I was taking.
So this is your typical, you know, hogwash defense. It means nothing. The state can easily roll over it.
GRACE: So how are we going to use e-mails, and will the mistress, who`s been kept under wraps -- we don`t know who she is, apparently out of Florida -- how will are the e-mails going to come brought into court? And will the mistress be brought into court -- well, at least one of them?
ELEANOR ODOM: Well, it seems like they would bring in the mistresses to show motive. Even though the state doesn`t have to prove it, we`ve got it here in this case. And also, Nancy, with the e-mails, easy to get those into evidence. You know, you can just show that they came from his computer and you can talk to the person who received the e-mails.
GRACE: Out to the lines. Marquita, California. Hi. What`s your question?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, basically, I just kind of had a quick comment. I have never heard of this guy. I do listen to Christian music. But it`s very unfortunate. You know, I think God`s getting a bum wrap here. Just because a person claims to be a Christian, it doesn`t really mean that they are living proof of a living God. And it`s very unfortunate.
GRACE: Well, what`s really disturbing is that he has set himself out to be an example, he and his band, called As I Lay Dying. And that makes tragedy even worse. But I agree with you, Marquita.
What`s also interesting -- Ladona Harvey, KOGO, have you noticed that almost all of his lyrics -- you know, very often, you know, Christian music is about a beautiful life, the kingdom come, heaven on earth, God`s love and redemption. Almost all of his music is about death and decay. Did you notice that?
HARVEY: Well, yes. Well, it`s supposed to be Christian metal. And you know, going back to that e-mail that he wrote to his wife, you know, saying that he had lost his faith, he no longer believes in God, he didn`t love her anymore -- you know, you have to wonder if he ever really believed in the first place, taking into account the nature of their music, which, frankly, was angry sounding.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Lead vocalist of the metal band As I Lay Dying, Tim Lambesis stands before the court. The 32-year-old Christian rocker and father of three is accused of hiring a hit man to kill his estranged wife.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The deputy, whose undercover name was Red, testified Lambesis brought him a picture of his wife, Meggan, a home address, and $1,000 cash.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: When specifically asked, Do you want her dead, he said, Yes, that`s exactly what I want.

GRACE: Whoa! We are taking your calls. Out to Kimberly Priest Johnson, defense attorney. Kimberly, I`ve heard, I was drunk, so I should be set free. I was on crack. I was on whatever. But steroids? How does that make you have a string of affairs and pay a hit man 20 grand to kill your wife?
KIMBERLY PRIEST JOHNSON, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You know, I think the allegation is actually supported by the evidence, which it`s my understanding they found a ton of steroids at his house, vials of steroids. And you know, I think all of this appears to have happened at once, where he sends out the e-mail, I no longer love God, I`m having all of these affairs, and I`m doing massive amounts of steroids. And so I think, actually, all of this fits together for his defense, that clearly, there was a snap in his personality...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: ... having sex with other women for a long time. And it took some planning to grumble about your wife in the gym for months on end, talk about wanting her dead. I mean, this didn`t happen -- this was not a snap. He had to plan it. He had to meet with the hit man, withdraw the money. Whoa! Oh, OK, you know what, Kimberly Priest Johnson? I`m sure you`re a great defense attorney, but Eleanor, why isn`t, "I snapped" going to work here?
ELEANOR ODOM: Well, because there`s no evidence of snapping at all. There`s nothing. As you said, there`s evidence of plan after plan. So that`s going to totally take away that defense.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... car crash claims the life of 17-year-old Janeah Goheen, her twin sister, Janesah. It seems impossible to friends that anyone survived this, especially when you look at the wreckage. Troopers say 53-year-old Ira Blackstock was driving down highway 20 around 5:00 o`clock when he crossed the center line near Anacortis (ph) and slammed into the car that `Nessa was driving.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That night, a trooper talking with him observed signs of impairment on the driver.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... kind of emotional damage that it`s going to do for everybody to have them be separated.

GRACE: Identical twin teen girl sisters dead at the hands of an allegedly drunk driver. Found in his back seat, an AA pamphlet and a Bible, this guy with multiple arrests under his belt.
Straight out to Michael Christian, investigative reporter. Michael, I`m just -- I`m sick about it. You know my twins. You raise your children your whole life. You put all of your love into them, all of your dreams that they be happy, that they grow up, and then this. These girls, teens, on their way innocently, with their teen friend to meet other teens from school at a haunted house party, and then this guy comes hurling out of nowhere and T-bones their car and kills them. I just -- and everybody keeps saying, allegedly drunk. Well, you know what, that`s what cops say. We`re waiting on blood alcohol, but there`s plenty of evidence at the scene that he was drunk. What happened, Michael?
CHRISTIAN: Nancy, this story absolutely breaks your heart. You don`t know how any family could go through this one time, let alone two times, let alone three times. It`s just heartbreaking. And what makes it even worse is that although one of the teens was killed originally, right at the scene, the other one lived for 11 days, her twin sister. It looked like she might pull out of this, and now this family has lost both of these beautiful girls.
GRACE: You know what makes me sick, Michael Christian, have you looked at this guy`s rap sheet? I mean, DUI, guilty. Hit-and-run, guilty. Assault, guilty. Trespass, guilty. Liquor violation, guilty. Reckless driving, guilty. Obstruction of justice, guilty. Liquor violation, guilty. A string of driving infractions, speeding and more. Which, you know, it`s too much for me to even go through on the air. I`ll still be reading an hour from now. What is he doing out to start with?
CHRISTIAN: He`s 53, Nancy. If you look at those charges, they go back to the `70s, which was about the time he graduated from high school.
GRACE: Oh, yes, he`s got a rap sheet dating back from the `70s.
CHRISTIAN: About the time he graduated from high school is the first one. So apparently this has been happening for years. He`s had a lot of speeding tickets. It looks like the most he was ever charged with was 28 miles per hour over the speed limit.
GRACE: 28, nearly 30 miles over the speed limit.
CHRISTIAN: Yes.
GRACE: And I`m wondering if some of these charges, that date all the way back to high school, if he wasn`t getting liquor illegally, underage. I mean, that`s how far it goes back. We don`t know exactly what some of them are, because they say, liquor violation. But this is what I know. Whatever problems he may have, they do not explain away the loss of these two girls` lives.
With me right now, two special guests, Jim Goheen, this is the father of the two girls, Janessa and Janea. Absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to life.
Also with me, their sister, Jenielle. To Mr. Goheen and Jenielle, thank you for being with us.
JIM GOHEEN, FATHER: You`re welcome.
GRACE: Mr. Goheen, everyone is telling, first of all, our thoughts and our prayers are with you. As the mother of twins, I can`t imagine bad fate befalling either of my children, much less both of them. And I`m just overwhelmed at what you`ve been through as a father, and I`m just sorry and I`m so sick about what you`ve lived through. Do you remember the day that this happened, the evening that this happened?
GOHEEN: Oh, yes.
GRACE: What happened?
GOHEEN: Well, we were, we were with our grandkids and Janielle, and myself (ph), just trick or treating. And then we got a phone call about 7:00. I guess it happened about 5:00. We got one about 7:00. And, oh, I just -- when I first heard it, it`s impossible to be doing this again. So I kind of walked away. And Deb, my wife, she just fell apart. You can`t express it in words, really. And then we had to run off, and of course, to the hospital over there, because Janessa was over there, waiting the helicopter to Overview. And so by the time we got over there, she`d already been gone. So we were there for half an hour to an hour, then we took off to Seattle. And by the time we got there, she was -- they were trying to stop the bleeding, internal bleeding, things like that.
GRACE: Everyone, with me is the father of the identical teen girls killed at the hands of a drunk driver. To you, Sheryl McCollum, former state director of MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the problem in my mind is this guy was no stranger to the law. He had had multiple driving infractions and alcohol infractions. Why was he out walking free, Sheryl?
MCCOLLUM: It seems like, Nancy, he should have been in jail for extended periods of time. There is legislation, there is laws, I mean, we have worked tirelessly to make sure this doesn`t happen, where you can just be habitual. But, again, they get their license back or they drive without it. You know, they don`t have insurance. I mean, the problem just gets compounded, because every time they`re released, they go back to what they know. And that`s drinking and driving.
GRACE: To Janielle Whittingham, the sister of Janessa and Janea, Janielle, thank you for being with us. What is your reaction to evidence that the driver was drunk?
JANIELLE WHITTINGHAM, SISTER: Well, I mean, we don`t really have actual facts that he was, I mean, to just know that, you know, they had suspicion to believe that he was impaired, so they were able to get, you know, samples of his blood to obtain that information. It`s just so hard to even understand how somebody, you know, can be, you know, irresponsible, especially at the age that he is. You know, to get behind a car, regardless of how much you`ve had to drink, how little, or whatever it is that you had, you know, any type of impairment, whether it be drinking or anything else.
GRACE: Well, even so, and Justin Freiman, I`m going to come to you on the evidence of inebriation, but to you, Eleanor Odom, the fact is, if he was drunk, then it`s going to be a drunk driving offense, it`s vehicular homicide. If he wasn`t drunk, he should have already been in jail because of all his other offenses, and it will still be vehicular homicide.
ODOM: Exactly, Nancy, and if he wasn`t intoxicated, it could still be reckless driving, which obviously would still be a felony. So when those tests come back in, if they show he was intoxicated, either drugs or alcohol, then that`s also a felony. So you`ve got him either way.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Janeah and Janesah Goheen were as close as two sisters could be, living life in a beautiful harmony. They literally finished each other`s sentences. The fact they`ll never see each other again is almost impossible for those closest to them to comprehend.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It didn`t even feel real. It was like, no way.

GRACE: Welcome back, everyone. A double tragedy. Teen girls, identical twin sisters, mowed down by an allegedly drunk driver with quite a history under his belt with the law, including drunk driving. To Justin Freiman, what is the evidence he was drunk?
FREIMAN: Nancy, police interviewed the driver at the hospital, and they had clues from his (inaudible), test, and all six hits (ph) showed signs of intoxication from this test. This is how they test how the reaction is in the left eye, in the right eye. All of this showed that he seems to be intoxicated. Also, he showed other signs of impairment. A blood sample was taken, the toxicology test, the results will not be available for almost 30 days.
GRACE: Out to Dr. Bill Manion, medical examiner, joining us tonight out of Philadelphia. Dr. Manion, question, why is it that drunk drivers always live and their innocent victims die?
MANION: Well, he had the bigger car, I think, and his airbag probably deployed and protected him. Besides, Janesah tried to veer to the right and her car was struck there, so there`s very little protection on the left-hand side like that on a side impact. And both the girls were -- one girl was in the front driving, her sister was just behind her. So they were really, received very hard trauma. The front of his car hit their side and his airbag deployed, so that`s why he -- he even crawled out of the car after it veered to the side of a ditch.
GRACE: Back to the father, joining us tonight, the father of the teen girls, now dead, because of a crash with an allegedly drunk driver. Jim Goheen, the father of Janesah and Janeah. Jim, again, thank you for being with us. What is your reaction, this is after losing your -- a third daughter in a crash, in a car crash. Your reaction to news that this driver may very well have been drunk.
GOHEEN: Oh, like you say, I mean, we have not got any information on his condition, if he was drunk or not drunk. We just know that they had enough evidence to take blood samples. It`s hard for me to really know that.
GRACE: Yes, we are awaiting the results of the blood alcohol, but according to police reports, he met six of six criteria for drunk driving. When you look -- I`m looking at these videos of your girls singing, what -- did they have a band together? Tell me about their singing. It`s just beautiful.
GOHEEN: Well, they loved music. It`s just like they -- Janeah just picked up the guitar, and then when she just picked it up, I mean, she -- it`s like she knew how to play the guitar, almost immediately. I mean, within three months, people were just amazed, wow, you`ve only been playing three months? You sound like you`ve been playing three years. And then Janesah picked up the synthesizer, and she did the same thing. It was like she belonged, you know, with it.
GRACE: What were their personalities, Jim?
GOHEEN: Oh, they -- they loved people. Everybody loved her -- loved them. I mean, they couldn`t fight with each other. I mean, you know twins. They, they couldn`t be apart. And that`s the hardest thing, when one was killed and the other one was seriously injured, it was like, they - -
GRACE: Did the one sister know -- ever know in the hospital her twin had died?
GOHEEN: No, she never woke up. At all. She -- period. But, as twins, it kind of got to the point where we began to start seeing that she already knew inside. And it was almost like she was fighting against the doctors to go with her sister.
GRACE: Everyone, you are seeing beautiful photos of Janesah and Janeah Goheen, just teens at the time of their death, at the hands of an allegedly drunk driver. Their third sister also dying, just before them, also in a car crash. Arraignment is set for tomorrow.
Everyone, to tonight`s case alert. The FBI at this hour searching for a child sex predator, John Doe 27. Take a look. Wanted for sex crimes in a video circulating on child porn sites. The suspect is a white male in his 40s or possibly 50s. Dark hair, bald spot in the back, calls himself Jimmy, has a Southern accent, and could be located in northeast Ohio. GRACE: And now to tonight`s hot trial. Movie superstar Alec Baldwin breaks down in tears in court. GOLDBAND: I`ll take your first question first. Nancy, Alec Baldwin is absolutely terrified of this woman. He says he`s in fear for his life, she`s shown up to multiple homes of his. She`s also shown up to charity events and speaking engagements that he`s done. Now, she has been speaking in court, Nancy, all the time. The judge finally says enough is enough. She doesn`t only shout out at Alec Baldwin, she doesn`t only shout out at Alec Baldwin`s wife, she shouts at her own attorney. She shouts at the judge, she shouts at the bailiff, and finally the judge says, guess what? No one is shouting anymore. 30 days in the slammer, you`re in contempt right now.
GRACE: OK. That`s not a good way to start off a trial for her. Out to Noam Laden, WABC, thanks for being with us, what is the claim? What did she allegedly do?
NOAM LADEN, WABC: The claim against her is that, you know, she`s talking, harassment, showing up at his downtown apartment, you know, sending tons of --.

GRACE: What do you mean? A claim against who? Alec Baldwin hasn`t done anything wrong, to my understanding. Of course the claim against her?
LADEN: Yes, I`m sorry, I don`t understand your question.
GRACE: What is she claiming? I mean --
LADEN: So she`s claiming that this is a romance. She`s claiming they had this unbelievable Manhattan date two years ago right around Valentine`s Day.
GRACE: So what if they ever had a date? Why are they in court? That`s what I don`t understand. She`s following him around, banging on his door. Hello, he just got married and had a baby.
LADEN: Look, if I look at the e-mails that she sent him over the last two years, if I talk about all the times she showed up at all these events, you can only come up with one thing, she`s a little cuckoo for coco puffs, something is wrong with her.

LADEN: She claims that he made this promise, you know, that he was going to make omelets for her every day, and then her reaction was, how did he know? How did he know that I love omelets? She loves omelets, she was all excited. She thought that this was going to be a romance.
GRACE: OK, so what if he did ever have sex with her years ago and promised to scramble some eggs? Why -- that doesn`t justify her stalking him.
LADEN: No, but you know, a scorned woman again sometimes can be a scorned woman. You must have saw the movie "Fatal Attraction?" Glenn Close, I will not be ignored, right?
GRACE: That was a movie. Alec Baldwin is afraid this woman is going to come at him with a knife. Hello, that was a movie, this is real, Noam.
LADEN: It is real. But he has to take it as real. I`m not trying to defend this woman, but I`m telling you what her story is.
GRACE: I think you`re defending her, and I will tell you something, Noam, if she will yell out in court like that and be held in contempt, she`s uncontrollable. That tells me she`s unreliable. That says I can`t trust anything she says, and therefore Alec Baldwin is telling the truth on this.
