THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

Well, I can tell you this. My 6-year-old twins are not buying a One Direction bookbag!
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE) felt like we`ve made it!
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It looks like the boys, who do have a squeaky clean image, have been busted.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: That was an image of a video from DailyMailOnline and One Direction`s music video from Sony.
Good evening, everybody. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.
Bombshell tonight. Beloved movie star, an icon -- think "Troy," "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Fight Club," "Meet Joe Black," "Oceans 11, 12, 13" -- Brad Pitt attacked! This isn`t the first time the same guy has targeted movie stars.
Straight out to Dorothy Cascerceri, Celebrity Corner. Dorothy, what happened?
DOROTHY CASCERCERI, JUSTLUXE.COM: Well, Brad Pitt was on the red carpet for the premiere of "Maleficent," which his wife, Angelina Jolie, is in. And all of a sudden, a guy jumps the barricade and swings at Brad Pitt, allegedly. And this guy is not just a random fan. He`s actually a Ukrainian TV personality, police say, who has harassed celebrities before with his crazy actions.
GRACE: A Ukrainian TV personality? Why is he even in this country? Because guess what? This isn`t the first time he has attacked a star. Take a look.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Notorious in Hollywood for his red carpet- crashing antics.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: America Ferrera was at the Cannes Film Festival...
(CROSSTALK)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... snuck underneath her dress.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Will Smith took a swipe at the prankster after Sediuk tried to kiss Smith on the mouth.
(CROSSTALK)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: ... surprised Madonna with flowers at the Venice Film Festival, even crashed Adele`s Grammy win last year.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The troublemaker getting too close for comfort to Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper at separate red carpet events.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: The same guy attacks all these people? He`s not even a U.S. citizen? Is that right, he`s a Ukrainian TV personality? Alexis Tereszcuk, senior reporter, Radaronline.com, is he a U.S. citizen?
ALEXIS TERESZCUK, RADARONLINE.COM: No, he is not. You`re correct. He is a Ukrainian television personality. He`s spending...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: ... and say it like that, Alexis? I mean, you just say it like you`re reading the newspaper. This guy is Ukrainian. He`s not a U.S. citizen. Why does he get away with doing this over and over and over? And you know what it does?
Put her up, please! Alexis, no offense, but a lot of people are taking this sort of thing lightly. I don`t because what this does is it eggs other people on to stalk celebrities, kill celebrities, break into celebrities` homes. This is a tip of the iceberg. You know, a pie in the face, something like that, yes, a lot of people, ha, ha, ha, ha.
You know what? Hold on. Look at this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tom Cruise got victimized at the "War of the Worlds" premiere. This YouTube video shows an unsuspecting Cruise being interviewed by a guy with a booby-trapped microphone.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now, why would you do that? Why did you do that?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Kim Kardashian got flower-bombed by a woman who infiltrated the red carpet. But Kim K. dusted herself off and returned to the press line.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: George Clooney likewise let it roll off him at the Venice Film Festival when a journalist publicly propositioned him.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think I`m in love with you. George, please take me! Choose me, George! Please!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK...
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Please choose me! George, may I kiss you, please?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Clooney deftly deflated his admirer.
GEORGE CLOONEY, ACTOR: It`s always embarrassing when you take one real swing for the fences, and it just falls flat. It`s a good try, though.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: OK, I know all that may seem funny, but Justin Freiman, before I go back to Alexis Tereszcuk, it`s not always funny, is it.
JUSTIN FREIMAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): It`s not at all, Nancy. Rebecca Schaeffer, a famous actress from the show "My Sister Sam" -- she was stalked for about three years and gunned down at her doorstep. The famous tennis player, Monica Seles -- she was actually stabbed during a match. Skater Nancy Kerrigan -- she was attacked right after a practice, and it was all caught on camera. And of course, John Lennon was killed by a person who just hours earlier he`d given an autograph to!
GRACE: And it goes on and on. Back to you, Alexis Tereszcuk. Think about these names, Alexis -- Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Madonna, Jodie Foster, Paula Abdul, Catherine Zeta-Jones, as Justin just mentioned, Rebecca Schaeffer, Uma Thurman, Alec Baldwin with the woman breaking into his house, trying to destroy his marriage, David Letterman, same thing. I mean, Letterman`s got a wife and a child, and he has this female stalker trying to break into his home. John Lennon, of course, killed, Jesse James (ph) -- I mean, it goes on and on.
So my fear, Alexis, is that people think this is all fun and games, and celebrities ask for it, but it becomes deadly, Alexis. Who is this guy?
TERESZCUK: Well, this guy -- as I said, he`s a television producer from the Ukraine. And he travels all over the world stalking celebrities. He was in France. He`s been all throughout Europe. Now he`s here just a few days later. He flew all the way. He is no longer getting access to the red carpet, though, which is very interesting that he did for years because he actually had to jump over a fence last night to get to Brad Pitt.
And the thing is, when you were talking about David Letterman has a little child -- Brad Pitt had all of his children at this event last night. All six children were there. They were with him. They were there on the red carpet just moments before this was (ph) taken (ph). So those kids could have been in tons of danger...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: I think he`s got, what, six children with Angelina Jolie...
TERESZCUK: Yes.
GRACE: ... and they`re all there with him to see this happen to their father?
Joining me right now, special guest Christa Scherck, former publicist for the alleged attacker, Vitalii Sediuk. Christa, thank you for being with us. When did you sever ties with Sediuk?
CHRISTA SCHERCK, FMR. PUBLICIST FOR ATTACKER (via telephone): Well, I was as shocked as anyone. And last night, as the headlines were coming in, I read the words assault, violent scuffle, and I just realized that this is a situation that`s gone beyond entertainment reporting.
GRACE: You know, I`m just overwhelmed. I don`t know how he keeps getting into the country. With me is the former publicist for Vitalii Sediuk. Christa Scherck is with us.
I mean, Christa, we know this type of thing escalates. And everybody can laugh it off when somebody gets a pie in the face or they get baby powder or ashes or -- yes, it`s easy to sit back and laugh, but it escalates.
How does this guy keep getting into the country, Christa?
SCHERCK: Well, he`s here on a journalist visa. I`m not sure if he (INAUDIBLE) He`s on assignment for a studio, and he`s -- it`s true, he`s a member of the foreign press.
GRACE: So that`s how he keeps getting in, he`s a member of the foreign press? Does he have U.S. citizenship, Christa?
SCHERCK: No, he`s not a U.S. citizen. He` on a journalist visa.
GRACE: OK. With me right now, Lou Palumbo, bodyguard to the stars, director of Elite Intelligence and Protection. Lou, it`s great to have you on with us. What`s your reaction when you hear something like this?
LOU PALUMBO, CELEBRITY BODYGUARD (via telephone): Well, to answer your question as to why he`s in the country, we won`t deport him unless he`s committed a felony. That`s the problem that we`re speaking to there. In reference to Brad`s little dilemma, you know, the exercise or the mission of your security...
GRACE: Hold on, Lou. Hold on, Lou Palumbo. Let me -- let me -- you`re right about the felony, getting deported. But the issue is he flies in and out of the country. He just flew, from what I understood, in to cover this and attack Brad Pitt.
I mean, there`s tons of stars that get rejected. For instance, you know, Nigela Lawson, the famous chef, she was just turned away from the country because she was accused of using cocaine. We don`t have to let him keep coming back in. I know we can`t deport him unless he commits a felony, but why does he keep getting back in? That`s a whole `nother can of worms, Lou. But I want to hear what you think about it.
PALUMBO: The answer to that question is because ICE, which is Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has not entered him into our database restricting his access to the country. It`s that simple an answer.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Pitt was there with Angelina Jolie at the premiere of her movie, "Maleficent." Police say that a guy jumped over the barricade and he hit Brad Pitt.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I was surprised...
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: When the man lunged, security moved in, quickly taking him down. He was cuffed...
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: Tonight, we learn of an attack on an icon, a beloved icon, Brad Pitt. Yes, he`s alive. But this type of attack seems to escalate. And not only that, it eggs on copycats. This guy -- this isn`t his first rodeo. He has attacked celebrities before.
Back to bodyguard to the stars Lou Palumbo, the director of Elite Intelligence and Protection. Lou, when I see things like this, it makes me think what`s next? Because this has a tendency to egg other people on.
PALUMBO: Yes, I agree with you, Nancy. You`re 100 percent right. We basically get into the copycat mode, and people will do anything to get a little publicity.
GRACE: Well, I`m still stunned about how he gets in, and why he would do this with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie`s children on the red carpet.
Unleash the lawyers. Dwane Cates, LA, Jeff Gold, New York. All right, Dwane Cates, first to you. I don`t understand how this guy keeps getting into the country, but at this juncture, he needs to do some jail time. I mean, this is a serial offender, Cates.
DWANE CATES, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, yes, Nancy, but you know what? I mean, it`s a misdemeanor. It`s a simple little battery OK? I mean, they can`t put him in jail for very long. They can`t deport him for this. I mean, part of the problem is, is us. We`re talking about this. We don`t need to talk about this. You quit making the guy famous, he quits doing this stuff.
GRACE: Well, you know what? I`m going to take you up on that and I`m going to let you quit talking about it.
Jeff Gold, how long can this guy stay behind bars? It`s a misdemeanor, true. But that`s 12 months. I`m happy for him to go to jail for a year.
JEFF GOLD, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: No, he doesn`t need to go to jail, maybe be barred. Look, he`s doing it for publicity...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: ... first time.
GOLD: He`s like a real life Borat. He just -- he`s just doing this for his own fame. Keep him out of the country. He doesn`t need to go to jail.
GRACE: You know, here`s the thing. He`s not being kept out of the country.
GOLD: He should be.
GRACE: This eggs on stalkers. And when I`m talking about stalkers, I`m talking about Rebecca Schaeffer, who was the star of "My Sister Sam," a stalker tat was emboldened, emboldened because he went after her, after her, after her until one day, Rebecca Schaeffer opened the door and he killed her.
Justin Freiman, you went through quite a list. Remember Monica Seles? Remember that, Justin? What happened there?
FREIMAN: Absolutely. She was actually playing tennis on the court in Hamburg, and a person actually got out onto the court and stabbed her with a knife!
GRACE: Then there is Sandra Bullock. This guy followed Bullock to multiple homes, ending up following her all the way to a place on Tybee Island, a remote island off the Georgia coast. He never let up.
To Dr. Bethany Marshall, psychoanalyst, author of "Dealbreakers." Let me see Bethany, please, Liz. Bethany, people are making light of this because Brad Pitt survived. But in my mind, this is just egging on other stalkers. What do they get out of it?
BETHANY MARSHALL, PSYCHOANALYST: Oh, Nancy, you know, it`s so easy to minimize the enormous aggression that`s being directed towards these stars. The fact is, these stars are rich, powerful. They have a sense of agency in the world. And this guy is enormously envious of them.
So what is he doing? He`s asserting his agency over them. He`s saying, Ha, ha, ha, you`re just human, just like the rest of us. You bleed. You cry. You have looks of shock on your face. And he`s really trying to cut them down to size.
The other thing he`s really trying to do is insert himself into the notoriety of the star. He`s a wannabe star himself. He`s riding on their coattails.
And the final thing, Nancy, I really want to say, stalking is a serious problem. Stalkers usually feel that they have a special and unique relationship with their victims. They feel at one with the victim. And when they do not get all the attention they want from the victim, they go after the victim to punish the victim for perceived rejection.
And that`s what we see with some of these stars, like with Sandra Bullock...
GRACE: You know what, Bethany...
MARSHALL: ... the guy that followed her around for months and years.
GRACE: Do you remember Anita Bryant?
MARSHALL: Yes.
GRACE: Anita Bryant was a religious singer. I think she represented the orange industry. She had a lot of conservative views and -- but she had this beautiful voice, and she was everywhere singing all the time. A lot of times, it was Christian inspirational music.
MARSHALL: Right.
GRACE: I still remember when I was a little girl and somebody came up and did this to her in public. I mean, she was speaking on some issue dear to her heart, and -- I remember that as a little girl. I mean, she is a lady. To come -- I don`t understand that. I don`t understand that, Bethany. I mean, why did that guy do that? That -- that was -- the first time I recall this happening to her. I mean, look at her. She makes me think of my own mother. Why would you do this to a sweet lady, whether you agree with her politics or not? Why would he do that?
MARSHALL: Nancy, it speaks to the enormous envy that I`m talking about. The fact is, what do we do when we`re envious? We try to destroy the object of our envy. Anita Bryant was beautiful, as you pointed out. She had a voice. She could sing.
And what did he do? He attacked the most beautiful part of her. He defaced her. He wanted to humiliate her. He wanted to cut her down to size. He wanted to say, You are not all that. And you know, we think about this perp. He`s saying this to all these stars, You`re not all that. I`m the one that should have the limelight. I`m the one who should be on the red carpet. I`m the one should have the TV show.
So he`s climbing over the backs of others in order to make himself a star, but employing enormous aggression while he does it. It`s really an attack on their agency.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It was like any red carpet event, Brad Pitt signing autographs for fans, when suddenly, a man swings at the superstar, police say, striking him in the face. It happened at the premiere of partner Angelina Jolie`s new film, "Maleficent." When the man lunged...
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: Yes, he just had to spoil the whole thing for Jolie, and "Maleficent" comes out tonight at midnight. They had their children there, and this guy came up and attacked Brad Pitt.
I was just talking about one of the first celebrity attacks I ever saw, and it was on a singer, like, a Christian singer, Anita Bryant. And yes, she had a lot of political views that I don`t agree with, a lot of people don`t agree with. But she was a lady. And that`s the first time I remember this happening. That was in my childhood. And it seems to go on and on and get deadlier and deadlier.
Justin Freiman, what has this guy done to the celebrities?
FREIMAN: Nancy, just a few weeks ago at one premiere, he actually looked up the dress of America Ferrera. He also has gone up to Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper at separate events and actually hugged them around their knees. And then of course, he attacked Will Smith at the premiere of "Men in Black 3." He tried to kiss him on the lips. Will Smith answered with a slap to the face.
GRACE: You know, I`m glad Will Smith slapped him. I wish he done more. And this is the thing. We all think of celebrities in their ivory towers and all their money. You know what? They deserve to be protected, too. I don`t want some guy I don`t know coming up and kissing me on the face, throwing things at me. Nobody does. Why should they be treated different?
And my big fear -- very quickly to Lou Palumbo -- is that it will escalate into a deadly stalking, Lou.
PALUMBO: I agree with you 100 percent. In fact, this whole issue of him slapping Brad unto itself is an escalation, when you start having physical contact.
But Nancy, I want to point out something to you about the security component. The exercise or the mission of your security is to prevent people from harming the people they protect, not to apprehend them after the fact. You know, they need to start to take a different look at what their role is, and subsequently, have some type of dialogue with their clients, so their clients will understand what they need to do to keep them safe going forward. You pointed out we`ve had far too many of these incidents, and now we need to do something proactively to prevent this again.
One final note on our subject that may have carried this out. He needs to be subjected to a psychological or a psychiatric evaluation to determine his fitness as to whether or not he`s a harm to himself or others. I think that`s something that they should pursue.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
GRACE: And now to Torrance, California, a young father of three outside working on the car, comes in to find his three little girls dead, in bed with mommy. Mommy clutching a knife.
The mother of three, Carol Coronado, now in a jailhouse on three counts of murder. One count of attempted murder, trying to kill her own mother.
Now this as her husband, the father of their three little girls, demands that his wife be set free, insisting she didn`t kill the girls. A demon did. But in the last hours, Carol Coronado, dubbed the killer mom, in court.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I can hear my nieces crying and crying in the background.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Coronado was being held on murder and attempted murder charges after police say she stabbed her three little girls to death and then tried to kill her own mother.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She said nothing, I`m tired, I`m exhausted.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Carol had also been stabbing herself. Detectives tell us they found several knives at the crime scene.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: In the last hours, Carol Coronado, dubbed killer mom, in court.
Straight out to Matt Zarrell. Matt, who was in court?
MATT ZARRELL, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Nancy, now Coronado made her first appearance in court today. Along with Coronado, Coronado`s mother, whom she`s accused of killing -- trying to kill, her sister and the husband, the father of the three children, were all in the courtroom.
The husband wearing all black, his legs were shaking very nervously, in the front row of the courtroom.
GRACE: So are you saying it was the husband that was on the front row of the courtroom and shaking? Describe his demeanor.
ZARRELL: Yes. He looked very, very nervous about what`s going to transpire. Also, the attorney for Coronado revealed the new detail about what we may know about the defense strategy. The attorney reportedly said that it`s likely to be a postpartum depression defense. And we also got details about her injuries which I`ll get into a little bit.
GRACE: You know, Matt Zarrell joining us, in the last hours, the woman dubbed the killer mom, Carol Coronado, in court. Another thing I want to find out, exactly why she was in court, Matt Zarrell? What was the purpose of the hearing today?
ZARRELL: The purpose of the hearing is the first appearance for her charges. Now remember, Nancy, that she had just gotten moved to the jail very recently. She was in the hospital for days. What we`re learning is that she actually had a punctured lung from a self-inflicted wound when she tried to allegedly stab herself in the chest.
GRACE: You know, to Dr. Bethany Marshall -- we`re going to take you straight back to the clubhouse, everybody. Coronado dubbed the killer mom was brought over in a special transport today. Away from the other inmates. She was using a wheelchair. Even though we know she walked on her own volition out of the murder scene after stabbing her three young daughters to death and trying to stab her own mother. She walked on her own.
But today she has special transport and has been in a wheelchair. Everyone gathered in the courtroom. On the front row, her family.
Matt, you said her husband, her mother, who else is there, sister?
ZARRELL: The sister was also there, correct.
GRACE: Now interesting, they were gathered on the front row to support Carol Coronado. Not to support the three young dead victims.
Is that correct, Matt?
ZARRELL: That`s my understanding, is that they were sitting --
GRACE: Yes.
ZARRELL: They were sitting behind Coronado.
GRACE: Now, remember, everyone, the husband, the father of the three young children insists that his wife didn`t do this, that a demon inside of her did it. He doesn`t want her prosecuted at all.
To Dr. Bethany Marshall, I`m going to go to insanity in just a moment, but I want to talk first about postpartum depression.
Bethany, psychoanalyst joining me out of L.A., I`ve spoken to so many women and co-workers, that suffered from postpartum depression.
Bethany, the fact that this woman`s defense is going to be postpartum depression in three murders? Does postpartum go -- extend to murder?
BETHANY MARSHALL, PSYCHOANALYST, AUTHOR OF "DEALBREAKERS": Nancy, I just don`t buy this postpartum depression. Let`s think of what depression is. Detachment and estrangement from others. Hopelessness, low levels of energy. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to kill three people. And then she tried to kill her mother, this woman had enormous amounts of energy at her disposal. Maybe postpartum psychosis, my guess, because she carefully planned the day --
GRACE: So right there --
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: When you say psychosis versus depression, we`re not all fluent in psychotherapy lingo. When you say psychosis, what`s the difference between that and all the -- so many women I`ve spoken with, working women that are my colleagues that that have had postpartum depression. How does it turn into psychosis? What is psychosis?
MARSHALL: OK. So what I would distinguish would be a postpartum depression would be hormonally based or because it`s overwhelming to have a new baby. But if you have a history of mental illness or history of mental illness in your family, sometimes the depression can go over into psychosis. Where there is loss of the boundaries between reality and non- reality. You see things that are not there, you hear things that are not there.
GRACE: OK.
MARSHALL: Think Andrea Yates. But you can be psychotic and still be homicidal, Nancy.
GRACE: Well, here`s the thing --
MARSHALL: And one thing does not rule out the other.
GRACE: Here`s the thing that`s different in this case. Unleash the lawyers. Dwayne Cates, L.A., Jeff Gold, New York.
Jeff, unlike a lot of other mothers -- can I see the lawyers -- that have murdered their children, and I`m talking about -- you can`t get away from Susan Smith. Recently we covered Julie Scheneker. I`ll just use those two. Both of them very carefully planned out the murders. There`s Scheneker. I mean, she planned that murder days ahead of time. Possibly longer. She had to go buy a gun, she had a waiting period, she even wrote in her journals.
Well, the evil is now going to start on Thursday because of the waiting period on the gun. I mean, she planned the whole thing, and a jury agreed with my assessment. Then you`ve got, of course, Susan Smith, who her motive was to get with a new man. She wanted a new boyfriend and he didn`t want children. He didn`t want a ready-made family. So she got rid of them and claimed her car was carjacked and she killed the children, ran them into a lake in a seatbelt.
They planned it all out. Here`s the thing here, Jeff Gold. This mom doesn`t seem to have planned anything. That morning she sounded OK on the phone. All of a sudden she`s got a kitchen knife and three kids are dead.
JEFF GOLD, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right, this seems the clearest case where it may be insanity, because she kills the three kids, one being the youngest baby, so she could have some postpartum attached to it. The husband agrees that she`s probably crazy or it`s not homicidal. He wants her to be treated otherwise. You put all this together. She is the clearest of all those cases that really might be insanity.
She stabs herself and she tries to kill her own mother. All those things together really lean toward a decent defense here.
GRACE: You know, the thing is, though, Dwayne Cates, her own defense attorney said the defense is going to be postpartum depression. Depression is not going to cut it. Defense of this. Now if we get into psychosis like Bethany Marshall was just describing, that might work but you`re going to have a lot of mothers on the jury that have actually had postpartum depression, they may not buy it.
DWAYNE CATES, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, I agree, Nancy, and obviously, this attorney hasn`t consulted with an expert yet, she hasn`t been evaluated.
GRACE: Right.
CATES: They haven`t gone through the whole process that they need to determine exactly what`s going on. But it clearly looks like psychosis. I mean, she seems to be pretty normal, all of a sudden starts killing people.
GRACE: To Dr. Bill Manion, medical examiner, forensic pathologist.
I`m very curious, Dr. Manion, will any of the injuries on the three children reveal whether this was a spur of the moment thing, which would lend itself to insanity or were any of them tortured, were they malnourished to show a pattern of injuries?
DR. BILL MANION, M.D., MEDICAL EXAMINER, BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ: Well, yes, they`ll definitely look for child abuse. The children will be X-rayed first to see if there`s any fractured ribs or broken bones in the past that have healed. They`ll be weighed carefully, measurements taken and to look for any signs of child abuse, absolutely.
GRACE: You brought up a good point about possible past broken bones. The ages of the children, 2.5, 16 months and 2 months old. All three girls.
Dr. Manion, the fact that she brought up the possibility of previous broken bones, malnourishment, whether they were kept clean, whether they were covered in diaper rash. A lot of that could show a pattern of abuse as you`ve just pointed out.
So my understanding, to you, Matt Zarrell, the children`s bodies are going to be at the funeral on June 1. That means, I think, that the autopsies have been completed?
ZARRELL: Yes, they have, Nancy.
GRACE: OK, one more thing, Matt Zarrell, I want to be clear in my mind. Today in the last hours, in court, Carol Coronado, dubbed the killer mom, there you`re seeing where the children will be intern, stabs three of her little girls. We now see the defense emerging. Postpartum depression.
Will mothers on a jury believe that? Mothers that may have had postpartum depression? But today it`s simple, Matt, it`s a first appearance. What happened in the first appearance? What was it all about? And what does it mean that her family was there supporting her?
ZARRELL: Well, the family has said in reports previously that they do not want her prosecuted. So them sitting in court matches their previous statements. At the first appearance, typically what you have is they`ll read the list of charges. They`ll go through the bail, she will not have any bail. Obviously with the three counts of murder. And then they will set an arraignment, they`ll also argue over whether they want to try and get bail. But this is all stuff that will happen in the coming days as well.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
GRACE: Popular boy band One Direction, they have to turn around and go another direction. Away from the U.S. after they`re caught on tape apparently smoking pot, cursing, throwing racial slurs, and making fun of the police that are kindly escorting them. And it`s all on video.
Well, I can tell you this. After smoking pot, cursing, using racial slurs and mocking the police, my 6-year-old twins are not buying One Direction book bags.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LOUIS TOMLINSON, VOCALIST: They are great. I know that they`ve been absolutely amazing. And you know, we can`t thank them enough.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: One Direction.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s fun.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, it is fun.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: OK. Liz, do we have the video at all?
Everybody, these guys caught on video, which I have seen. Not all of the band members were in there but several of them in there, smoking what they referred to as pot, they used a racial slur about black people. They mocked the police officer that`s driving along beside them giving them a free escort. You`re seeing image, video from the Daily Mail Online. It goes on and on.
Dorothy Cascerceri, celebrity correspondent, Justluxe.com, you know, it`s very possible that they can be turned away the next time they try to enter the U.S. And they`re all Brits. Think of Nigella Lawson. Do you remember her? The famous TV chef that was accused of smoking -- of using cocaine? I don`t know if she did it or not. She was actually turned away.
Remember Katy Perry was turned away from going into some other country for some reason. And of course there`s a petition to keep Justin Bieber out of the country.
DOROTHY CASCERCERI, CELEBRITY CORRESPONDENT FOR JUSTLUXE.COM: You`re absolutely right, Nancy. People are outraged when they see celebrities doing these sorts of things behind the scenes. And we just had the same situation with Justin Bieber, he`s Canadian. And people wanted him, you know, to stay out of the U.S. because he was too much of a troublemaker. So it might end up being the same case for One Direction.
GRACE: OK. Straight out to Mike Duffy, what are we talking about here? They`re making a ton of money off the U.S. Mike Duffy, what happened?
MIKE DUFFY, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Yes, that`s right, Nancy. These boys are megastars all over the world. They`re one of the biggest boy bands on the planet. And in total, they`re reportedly worth about $117 million. This tour that they`re set to launch this year is set to earn them $195 million.
GRACE: Alexis Tereszcuk, what exactly happened?
ALEXIS TERESZCUK, REPORTER, RADAROLINE.COM: So two of the guys from the band, Zayn and Louis, were in a car, they were in Peru on their way to a concert, and they were smoking what they called pot. It could -- I know we`ve all been saying it, it was a rolled cigarette. We`re not sure. But they were calling it Mary Jane, they were -- which is a slang name for pot.
So they`re smoking it and they`re being really obnoxious. They`re saying things like, oh, look at the popo for the police, riding next to us, ha-ha, while we`re smoking. And then one of the guys actually talked about the -- he said that the weed is green, and then he used a shorter version of the N word after that.
So fans are pretty angry about this. And they`re not just angry on Twitter.
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: I can tell you this much. The first thing I thought about -- the first thing I thought about, Alexis -- everybody, you`re seeing image of video from Daily Mail Online. The first thing I thought about is a little girl in the twins` class. My twins are 6 years old, Alexis. They`re 6. And this little girl has everything One Direction. The backpack, the lunch bag, the T-shirts, the works. You know, and why shouldn`t she?
But you think parents are going to shell out for tickets and merchandise for a boy band from another country that`s high on pot? Of course, you`ve got to have the pot tested, that`s never going to happen in this case. They`re not going to be prosecuted. Using racial slurs and mocking police?
Yes, I don`t think so, One Direction, better take a U-turn back to Great Britain.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
GRACE: And now a mother`s heartbreak. Mommy drops her 2-year-old little boy at daycare before work only to get a call about 15 minutes later her toddler climbs four flights of stairs to the daycare roof unsupervised. The little boy, a toddler, falls to his death.
Tonight, dead at daycare.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: 2-year-old Daylan Walker.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It sounds like the child was at some point left unattended.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Somehow he got to the roof of the building and fell four stories down on the backside among these scattered cloves.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How a 2-year-old baby got out of her hour first floor and reached the roof? How?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GRACE: Michael Bello, deputy city editor at "Boston Globe." Mike, how did it happen? I mean, the child hadn`t even been there very long. They couldn`t see a kid going up four flights of stairs by themselves?
Laugh at me if you want, Mike, but I still have gates on our stairs at home because my children are 6, I still don`t want them running up and downstairs.
MIKE BELLO, DEPUTY CITY EDITOR, BOSTON GLOBE: Well, I think there`s a lot of things police are looking at. They really don`t know -- they`re trying to determine what happened. Police have tried to get surveillance footage from this building to look at obviously the video or any pictures of what they have. It`s a building that`s run in the area, they`re on a 190-unit apartment building.
This daycare center was located on the first floor. We understand from law enforcement sources that the daycare folks were looking for this child for anywhere between 15, 20 minutes but they had thought that the child had gone outside. They were looking outside on the ground. They went to a nearby Burger King, maybe a McDonald`s asking people if they had seen this child. The child went out of that daycare.
GRACE: OK. You know what, you are scaring me, Mike Bello, to think that I would drop my children off, unbeknownst to me they`re out looking at a Burger King for the children? OK. That is just wrong.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
GRACE: A 2-year-old little boy somehow manages to get up four flights of stairs all on his own and fall to his death at daycare? What, they don`t have alarms on the doors? How does a child go four flights and die?
And to find out the workers are out looking at Burger King for the children, they didn`t think of the stairs?
Straight out to caller, Melanie, in West Virginia. Hi, Melanie, what`s your question?
MELANIE, CALLER FROM WEST VIRGINIA: Yes, my question is, I know for a fact that that baby was not able to open up them doors by himself because I lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and I know exactly what building where that incident happened at. And I know for a fact that either somebody coaxed him up those stairs or, you know, he did -- maybe he could have wandered off and somebody --
GRACE: You know what, that`s a good point, Melanie in West Virginia.
Mike Bello, these are probably industrial doors. How a child could get through it? This is a 2-year-old, Mike Bello, and don`t they have alarms on the doors?
BELLO: I have no idea what they have on the doors. I -- you know, I`m not there.
GRACE: I`m just overwhelmed at this. What else can you tell us, Mike?
BELLO: I can just tell you that there`s a community in mourning. They`re having a vigil for this child tonight, 8:00. You know, the real question is, why -- you know, what happened when the child was left unattended? And that`s all part of the police investigation of --
GRACE: And Michael Christian --
BELLO: -- how did the child get out of the daycare, a private daycare facility? And obviously the -- you know, why that latch was not -- allowed the roof door to be open partially.
GRACE: Michael Christian, what more do you know?
MICHAEL CHRISTIAN, SENIOR FIELD PRODUCER, "IN SESSION": You know, the saddest thing about this case, Nancy, and it`s a very sad one, is that the mother dropped this kid off, and a little while after that she got a text, a photo of little Daylan, a text saying he was fine, he was playing. Fifteen minutes later she got a call from the police telling her that he was dead.
GRACE: Everyone, let`s stop and remember American hero Army Sergeant Nicholas Casey, just 22, Canton, Ohio. Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Commendation. Loved baseball and football. Parents Samuel and Deborah, brother Sam, sister Amber, wife Rochelle, sons Nicholas and Curtis.
