UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Just metal crunching. It was awful.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A big rig driven by Kevin Roper, the truck barreling down on the Mercedes-Benz.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Overturned and crushed by the impact from the truck. But criminal complaints say the driver hadn`t slept for a period in

excess of 24 hours.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And live, Wisconsin. A sleepover with three 12-year-old girls turns deadly when two of the girls, obsessed with on-line sci-fi stories,

fantasy characters found on bizarre Web sites, lure their 12-year-old little best friend to play hide and seek, then hold the child down,

stabbing her 19 times in the heart, the liver, the pancreas, the stomach, all in a freaky bid to please a magical fantasy creature, Slenderman.

In the last hours, the two 12-year-old girls in court, as one lawyer demands a mental exam, and the father, who encourages his daughter`s love

of science fiction, breaks down in tears.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Today, the pre-teens are in court, charged with trying to stab a classmate to death.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: State of Wisconsin versus Morgan Geyser. State of Wisconsin versus Anissa Weier.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... were found walking near the interstate. They later told police they planned to walk to Slenderman`s mansion after the

crime.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And tonight, the star of the hit reality show "Long Island Medium" a big fake, phony, fraud? Tonight, clients of Long Island medium

Theresa Caputo (ph) trying to reach the other side, speak out. Is it all just a multi-million-dollar scam?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Is that her wedding ring?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, it`s my mother`s.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A new report from Web site Radaronline.com claims they`ve spoken to an unnamed woman who says she participated in the show

and alleges Caputo was not bubbly, like on TV.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That video from TLC and "Anderson Live."

And tonight, due to be married soon? Not planning on staying faithful? You want to sleep with one of your son-to-be husband`s closest

friends? Then this is the wedding dress for you.

"The stunning tulle suave (ph) ivory bridal gown has a proven track record for producing an adulteress, deceitful, double-crossing and

traitorous soulmate, a one-of-a-kind garment designed by Benedict Arnold, believed to be derived from the very cloth Judas Iscariot himself wore to

the garden of Gethsemane to betray the only son of God, Jesus Christ. This harlot-sized ensemble will make you the envy of your trampish (ph) posse

(ph) on your fraudulent wedding day."

OK, his words, not mine. That`s a real live ad I just read you, posted on line by none other than the groom.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wedding dress for sale advertised for a bride seeking eventual infidelity. A 25-year-old man`s two-year marriage came to

an end when his wife ran off with one of his friends, leaving behind her wedding dress. It`s only been used once, and the price is negotiable.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And live, Medford. The young mother of a 4-year-old little girl missing under suspicious circumstances. In the last hours, police

discover her blood-stained BMW just one mile from home.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We love you!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Missing 21-year-old Sarah Patricia Goode (ph) of Medford, mother of a 4-year-old daughter. Police discovered her abandoned

BMW.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Something is suspicious here.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Good evening, I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.

Bombshell tonight. We go live. NBC`s "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live" star near death after a sleeping truck driver slams into the vehicle.

Even though the driver leaves one dead and four others critically injured, in the last hours, believe it or not, the truck driver says he`s not

guilty, and the judge actually sets him free to drive again. Yes, the truck driver who caused this horrific accident, this deadly accident, is

back on the road and behind the wheel tonight!

And in the last hours, we discover the creepy perv cops found in movie star Sandra Bullock`s home has actually been in the home spying on Bullock

as she slept, even reportedly keeping a diary on the "Miss Congeniality" star.

Let`s take these stories one at a time. Let me start with you, Alan Duke, CNN digital reporter. OK, I`m looking at the crash, Alan. I don`t

know if you can see this or not, this deadly crash by a driver who -- I`ve got the police report right here. So they might as well not try to tell me

that the guy didn`t say he had been awake for 24 hours. I`ve got the police report right in my hands.

So he goes to court today. One dead, four others critically wounded, and he is behind the wheel right now? Whoa! That`s bass-ackwards, Alan

Duke. What happened?

ALAN DUKE, CNN DIGITAL REPORTER: Well, I can tell you that I would be shocked if he is driving for Walmart. I`ve done some investigation in the

last day about Walmart standards, and I have found that they will not allow a driver in one of their big rigs who has been involved -- ever been

involved in a fatal accident. So that would apparently disqualify him from the job.

GRACE: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

DUKE: Walmart hasn`t said he`s even fired...

GRACE: Put him back up. Duke, Duke, I appreciate all of that.

DUKE: Yes.

GRACE: But Walmart is also saying that this guy -- that they believe this guy was abiding by federal regulations. Federal regulations on

truckers are you cannot drive over 11 hours in any 14-hour period. But this guy says he`s been up 24 hours and he`s driving.

DUKE: Right. Walmart -- of course, they`re hedging because they`re going to be sued, you can expect. But I can tell you their own safety

regulations, not federal regulations, they will not allow anybody to drive one of their trucks, according to their own Web site and their fact sheet

there, who`s ever been involved in a fatal accident...

GRACE: OK, well, you know, just...

DUKE: ... so I`m going to assume that he`s looking for a new job.

GRACE: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wa-wait, wa-wait! He can look for a new job. I`m fine with him looking for a new job. What I`m not fine with,

Alan Duke, is the judge not banning him from driving.

And another thing. Justin Freiman, all I want from you is a number. How many crashes of Walmart trucks have there been in the last 12 months?

How many crashes, like, 380?

JUSTIN FREIMAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): Yes, Nancy, just about that, 380.

GRACE: OK, 380 crashes of Walmart drivers in the last 12-month period. And I`m not singling them out. The truck -- and they`re saying

he`s abiding by the regulations? His own statements to police are contrary to that.

Alan Duke, in court, he says not guilty. But why did the judge let him walk free and get behind the wheel of a car?

DUKE: Well, I`m wondering if the Department of Transportation might also weigh in on that because they do control his license to operate a

commercial vehicle.

By the way, if you extrapolate that over all of the 7,000 drivers in Walmart`s fleet, you will find -- and I`ve done the research on this --

that it`s -- it`s one third of an accident for every million miles driven.

GRACE: Well, that`s good to know. But if I was the victim or the victim`s family in one of these fatal crashes, those statistics would be

very cold company.

We are taking your calls. Ashe in New York. Hi, Ashe. What`s your question?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, Nancy. Hi. I just want to start by saying Lucy and John David are angels sent from heaven. They are gorgeous and

wonderful, and you should be so proud.

GRACE: You know what? I`m so proud, I took them to a show today, this afternoon, on Broadway and I had a lady come up and say that she had

been praying for them since before they were even born. So thank you, Ashe.

Now, Ashe, before you get away, what do you think about the judge in this case?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: He walks free and he can drive. Now, Alan Duke doesn`t seem worried about that. He thinks the Department of Transportation -- a

federal regulation -- I used to work for a federal regulator -- they`re extremely slow. They don`t care. They`re not getting involved.

What`s your question, Ashe?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Nancy, let me tell you something. The devil dances again. What keeps happening that we let this driver go free when

he`s obviously been negligent? I mean, Walmart needs to take responsibility, as does this man.

GRACE: With me right now, Dave Osiecki, vice president of American Trucking Association. Dave, thank you for being with us. Dave Osiecki, is

there any type of tracking device on these trucks? For instance, Walmart - - and not just Walmart, all the big corporations. You see them on the interstate every day. Do they have any way to keep up with where these

trucks are?

DAVE OSIECKI, AMERICAN TRUCKING ASSOCIATION (via telephone): Sure. Yes, they do. In fact, Walmart several years ago, more than five years

ago, began installing electronic logging devices for all of their trucks and all their professional drivers. So this truck that was involved in the

crash did have one of those devices.

And that`s not required by the federal government. It was something Walmart did voluntarily and did it primarily from a safety standpoint.

They didn`t stop there, either. They -- and I`ve seen the fact sheet that your other -- your guest referred to earlier. They`ve adopted various

what`s called active safety technologies, safety technologies that warn the driver if they`re getting too close to a particular vehicle...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Really? So what does it, like, speak to them, like the movie (ph) or the GPS tracking?

OSIECKI: ... technology that Walmart is adopting. And you know, they`re one of the safest fleets in the industry and...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Dave Osiecki, I`ve got a question for you. On this tracking device -- so you`re saying that Walmart voluntarily has taken safety

precautions. OK, I`m glad to hear that. So that means that they`ve got a tracking device. Then they know how long this guy had been driving because

he says he`s been driving for 24 hours straight. Do you think Walmart`s going to release those logs, release that information about how long he had

been driving?

OSIECKI: Well, I think you need to be careful in making an assumption. You are making an assumption that that`s what the driver

suggested. It`s my understanding that`s not at all what the driver suggested.

GRACE: Oh. OK. I`m just reading the police report.

OSIECKI: The driver suggested that he did not rest in the previous 24 hours. Now, take that and compare it with what you just said. And the

driver to our knowledge was not driving, was not on duty. In fact, we believe from the information he was off duty.

GRACE: I hope you`re right. I really do hope you`re right because the police report suggests something different. But you know what? I

hope, Dave Osiecki, that you are right.

Back to Alan Duke. Alan, do we know what his route was? I know that he started, I believe, in Jonesboro, Georgia, or is from Jonesboro,

Georgia. This was a trip in Delaware. Had he driven from Jonesboro to Delaware straight before he slammed into the star`s vehicle, killing one?

DUKE: It doesn`t make sense that he would have done that, and I`ll tell you why, because researching how Walmart`s fleet works, is they do

200-mile hubs around their hubs, and he`s based in Delaware, lives in Jonesboro. But if he drove his big tractor-trailer rig from Jonesboro,

Georgia, I don`t think he did that because this truck was based in Delaware. And normally, they don`t go that far with these trucks.

This is a company that, you know, is extremely efficient in their inventory and their transportation because that`s how they make so much

money at those prices. So I don`t think that they would have done that.

GRACE: OK. I`m just wondering...

(CROSSTALK)

DUKE: They`re not saying what the route was.

GRACE: I`m just wondering if they`re going to release the driving route that Dave Osiecki has told us about.

Back to you, Rob Shuter, host of "The Gossip Table." I want to quickly go to the perv, the creepy perv that`s rifling through Sandra

Bullock`s home, spying on her while she`s asleep. Our suspicions are now confirmed he was in that home a lot longer than we thought.

ROB SHUTER, HOST, "THE GOSSIP TABLE": Yes, that`s absolutely right, Nancy. Hollywood`s outraged by this story. A lot of celebrities have the

same sort of security that Sandra Bullock does, which is great security. However, it can`t stop somebody, apparently, from getting into your house.

And now we find out that the guy was in Sandra`s house a lot longer than what we initially thought. This has creeped, creeped everybody out in

Hollywood, both celebrities and regular people, Nancy.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: In Mississippi, three people were killed after a tractor-trailer clipped a school bus which then hit another bus.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A tractor-trailer slammed into Virginia Tarvis`s (ph) home.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I was just coming out the door with my daughter. I kicked the door shut and ran across the house, out the back door with my

daughter.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Seven people were killed after a tractor-trailer crossed over the median and struck a minivan along an interstate in

Arizona. Both vehicles then caught on fire. Singing sensation Gloria Estefan was nearly paralyzed after her tour bus was rammed by a truck on a

snowy night. The horrific crash broke the singer`s back. The driver of the 18-wheeler was found guilty of traveling at an unsafe speed with faulty

brakes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That video you`re seeing, from YouTube of Gloria Estefan`s tour bus after her crash.

In the last hours, the driver, the truck driver who crashes into the "30 Rock" star`s vehicle, killing one, critically wounding four more, has

been allowed to walk free and drive. Take a listen to what one of the passengers had to say.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Stanton (ph) is the only passenger who`s been released from the hospital. The group was sitting in bucket seats. The

37-year-old shows me Morgan was sitting right in front of him. His chair was turned around. The men were facing each other when all hell broke

loose.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It happened so fast. And when it stopped, Tracy was on top of me, and I didn`t see any anyone else, just metal. And I

could see the stars from my side because the top was ripped open. And I head a driver, you know, cursing out the other driver, and I was just

saying, Help me, get me out of here. I just was trying to get out.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He says Morgan was unconscious, breathing but clearly gravely injured.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Joining us right now, a caller cut off by a Walmart truck. Hi. Thank you for being with us. What happened?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... my wife and I were almost run off the road by a huge Walmart truck. We were in the right lane, and the Walmart driver

came barreling onto the highway at a high speed from the on-ramp. He didn`t slow down or yield to cars in the right lane. He cut us off at this

crucial and really dangerous spot near the highway entrance.

GRACE: You stated you were with your wife and children. How many children?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I have twins, a boy and a girl, and they`re 8 months old. And we have a "Baby on board" sign on the back of our car just

to avoid situations like this.

GRACE: Did you get the tag number?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, I have photos of it. We took it when we were exiting the highway, which was I-80 west, with that driver right in

front of us, actually. So I have pictures, and I`m going to be contacting Walmart.

GRACE: And tell me this, how close did the truck come to you and your infant twins?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It was very scary. My wife had to make a quick decision, and she checked to make sure the lane directly to our left was

clear, and she veered into that and got us out of danger. Otherwise, he would have come smashing into us. It was really close and very scary. We

were frazzled for quite a while after that.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: And live, Wisconsin. A sleepover with three 12-year-old girls turns deadly. Two of the girls, obsessed with some on-line fantasy

creature on a bizarre Web site, lure their little best friend, age 12, to play hide and seek. But then the two hold the girl down, stabbing the

child 19 times in the heart, liver, pancreas, stomach, all in a freaky bid to please this magical fantasy creature, Slenderman.

Well, in the last hours, the two 12-year-old girls in court as one of the lawyers demands a mental exam, and the father who encourages his little

girl`s love of science fiction breaks down in tears.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: My client`s issues cannot be adequately addressed in the adult criminal system.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You represent an 11-year-old who just turned 12. The adult court system may not be the best place for them.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Police say Geyser and Weier plotted for months...

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Straight out to Dan O`Donnell, anchor with WISN. So one of the lawyers demands a mental examination? Explain.

DAN O`DONNELL, WISN (via telephone): Well, yes. He is arguing that his client was not mentally competent at the time of the stabbing and is

not mentally competent to stand trial. This is part of a strategy by both defense attorneys to get this case moved back into juvenile court, as both

attorneys, you heard, are arguing that these girls are simply too young to be tried in adult court.

GRACE: Now, this as another case out of Cincinnati is linked to Slenderman. A young girl attacks her mother wearing a mask while the mom

is in the kitchen, stabbing her around the neck and face. Incredible! So this Slenderman sci-fi character is being connected to multiple crimes,

even the Las Vegas shooting we all just heard about.

Unleash the lawyers. Joining me out of Atlanta, Eleanor Odom, death penalty-qualified prosecutor. Also with me tonight, defense attorney Peter

Odom.

At this juncture, Peter Odom, the defense lawyers are trying their best to move the case out of adult court and into juvenile court. Why?

PETER ODOM, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right. Well, Nancy, they`re 12 years old. That`s where it should be. Of course, the case -- they`ve decided to

start it in adult court, but the case is inevitably -- I believe, inevitably going to go back to juvenile court because of the tender age.

GRACE: And why would you say that?

PETER ODOM: Because they`re 12 years old, Nancy.

GRACE: I know. You keep saying they`re 12 years old.

PETER ODOM: It`s inhumane -- it`s inhumane -- well, I shouldn`t have to say it more than once.

GRACE: Put him up!

PETER ODOM: You know how old they are.

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: No, actually, I thought you might say something about the law. You know what? Instead of having you...

PETER ODOM: The law...

GRACE: ... say they`re 12, they`re 12, they`re 12 over and over...

PETER ODOM: The law that allows them to be prosecuted in adult court is inhumane.

GRACE: OK...

PETER ODOM: And in this particular case, because of the tender age of these children, the case is, I believe, inevitably going to go back to

juvenile court.

GRACE: OK, you already said that. Let me try Eleanor. Eleanor, are you familiar with the designated felony act, which is commonly referred to

as the "seven deadlies," seven crimes so heinous that if it is committed by a juvenile, they will be bound over, most likely, to adult court, those

being murder -- that would include attempted murder -- rape, sodomy, arson, aggravated assault, armed robbery. I think that covers it all.

Eleanor, explain to us in a nutshell how it works and why this attempt to get these two girls sent back to juvenile -- you know what? Forget it.

Eleanor, how long would they serve if convicted in juvenile, what, 18 months?

ELEANOR ODOM, PROSECUTOR: Maybe, or they could serve up to five years. But Nancy, that may not be enough in this case. And when you have

crimes, as you yourself said, that are so bad, the law says that you can treat the juveniles as adults. And that`s the law, too, no matter how much

defense counsel doesn`t like it.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: Tonight, the star of the hit reality show Long Island Medium, is she a big fake, phony, a fraud? Clients tonight of the Long Island

Medium, Theresa Caputo, trying to reach the other side, speak out. Is it all just a multimillion dollar scam?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

THERESA CAPUTO: You`re afraid. What about me, I`m talking to dead people. Don`t you think I should be afraid?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now a new report from website Radaronline.com claims they have spoken to an unnamed woman who said she participated in

the show and alleges Caputo was not bubbly like on TV. Even claims an assistant to Caputo talked to her the day before the taping.

CAPUTO: Who lost the son? Oh, you`re the sister. Oh, okay.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: You were seeing Theresa Caputo on Anderson Live. Straight to you, Alexis Tereszcuk, senior reporter, Radaronline.com. Clients, if I

guess you call medium psychics, clients are speaking out saying it was all a fraud. Hit me, give it to me in a nutshell. What are they saying?

TERESZCUK: We spoke with a woman who Theresa came to her house to do a reading and she said, quote, she believes that Theresa is full of crap.

She said she was interviewed the day before Theresa came over to her house and she told the producer everything. The producer encouraged her to talk

about her late husband. This is a widow, three children, missing her husband. Wanted to talk with him. She felt like Theresa basically scammed

her. She said she showed up. She had to film the greeting twice because Theresa didn`t like what she said. A simple greeting, hello, welcome to my

home. Didn`t like that. Then she said she was so surprised during the filming, Theresa said oh, your son loves Spongebob Squarepants. She could

not believe that she knew that. Then she realized the production team had been set up in her son`s room, which is covered with SpongeBob SquarePants

things, and she`s sure they probably told Theresa about that.

GRACE: Hold on. I`m going to go back to what the medium`s clients are now saying. Take a look. Is it fake? Is it real?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CAPUTO: Is that her wedding ring?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, it`s my mother`s.

CAPUTO: Because I heard something -- the wedding ring. And that`s your mom`s wedding ring?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, it is. This is my wife`s wedding ring here.

CAPUTO: Oh, you have the wedding ring. But where is the chair? Why do I keep getting the thing with a chair? Do you still have her chair?

Or did she have an issue with her legs prior to her passing?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No. She had her gallbladder --

CAPUTO: Who had the issue with the legs? Paralyzed or something amputated? Was there an issue with the legs where your husband was -- bed

restriction, is that correct? What was with his legs?

She`s shaking her head no, so that`s fine. Look, you don`t have to acknowledge it, I don`t care. I don`t care if you believe in what I do.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That is Theresa Caputo on our friend Anderson Cooper`s show, Anderson Live. Mark Edward, it looks like she was striking out on all of

her tips from the other side. Mark Edward, mentalist, former undercover psychic, Mark Edward, thank you for being with us. What techniques do you

believe Caputo may be using?

MARK EDWARD, MENTALIST: Well, first of all, she`s doing very bad cold readings, and I think she gets -- definitely she gets what is called

preshow, which is information gleaned either from a credit card when you buy a ticket or she gets information just like you just showed. The

producers go in and interview somebody and they make notes and give them to her.

GRACE: Well, it`s interesting because this person speaking out that Radaronline is reporting says she`s a widow with three children and Caputo

came to her home. They never aired this after it was shot to my understanding.

EDWARD: Right.

GRACE: That one of the assistants, Mark Edward, had preinterviewed the woman for an extensive period of time on the phone.

EDWARD: Yes.

GRACE: Quote, promising not to tell Theresa Caputo.

EDWARD: Oh, of course.

GRACE: But then Theresa Caputo had all the knowledge. Then as it was just reported, the production assistant set up in another room for the

filming, and saw the son`s giant Spongebob Squarepants pillow in there, and suddenly she got the message that he loved Spongebob Squarepants. You said

she`s cold reading. What`s that?

EDWARD: Cold reading is using information -- actually what you`re doing is you`re making very bold statements as facts, as if they`re real,

and then you watch the client or the sitter for their reaction, their body language, their facial tics, the way they look up or down, their eyes and

you stay with it. You stay on it.

GRACE: Let me ask you this. I understand cold reading. I understand getting preshow information. Can you give me an example of cold reading?

EDWARD: Sure. I`ll tell you right now, here`s what I`m getting about you. What I get about you is that you sometimes try to do way too many

things at once. You`re overbooked. Also I see a lot of people around you, especially right now. A lot of voices I`m hearing talking to you. They`re

not spirit voices, they`re very much alive. And also pictures, you surround yourself with a lot of pictures.

GRACE: Okay, all right, all right. I think I get it. With me is Mark Edward, mentalist, former undercover psychic. So bottom line, you

start throwing things out and you see what sticks.

EDWARD: Like bottle caps.

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: You know, another question, though, unleash the lawyers. Eleanor Odom, Peter Odom, let me ask you this. If you`re going to sue for

emotional distress, like this lady that Radaronline found that Alexis is telling us about, where she now realizes the whole thing, according to her,

was rigged. To put a lawsuit -- to file a lawsuit for emotional distress - -

P. ODOM: It`s not going anywhere.

GRACE: -- you have to show damages. Damages.

P. ODOM: Yes.

GRACE: So what`s the damage? I didn`t get to speak to my dead husband? No. You`re not going to have any money.

P. ODOM: Damages can be emotional damages, but where I think this lawsuit misses the mark is that Theresa Caputo is entertainment. Just like

professional wrestling or the horoscope.

GRACE: According to you.

P. ODOM: (inaudible), really, Nancy, according to everyone. Ask Mark Edward, the mentalist you just had on.

GRACE: Let me ask everyone. Noreen Renier, psychic detective, has worked over 600 cases. When you hear people like Peter Odom, and I`m not

taking a side here, saying it`s all just BS, what`s your response? You have managed to solve several cases.

RENIER: I would say BS back to him. The psychic ability does exist. This young lady, I don`t know her, and I`ve never seen her show, but I

think that she believes in herself and her abilities, and that`s not being fraud if you believe in yourself or what you`re doing. If she`s good or

not, she seems to be doing more good than harm, I don`t see her extorting people. I think that her mind is just --

GRACE: I don`t think the lawsuit is going anywhere, Noreen. I hear what you`re saying. Psychologist Caryn Stark joining me. You know, Caryn,

one thing that`s a little upsetting or actually a lot upsetting, having been a crime victim myself, when you get victims or you get this lady

that`s a widow with three children, wanting desperately to believe in something, she believes she`s contacted her dead husband, and then to find

out she now thinks it was all a big scam. You know, at a time in her life what she`s going through, that must be devastating.

STARK: That`s really sad, Nancy --

GRACE: It is.

STARK: Because if in fact what they`re saying is true and she was making everybody feel better, that would be terrific. But if someone

starts to believe something that has no validity, and then she feels worse about her loss, then this shouldn`t be happening. It`s really not a fair

thing.

GRACE: Take a look at Caputo, Long Island Medium, at work.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CAPUTO: In addition to my on-air appearance, the radio station has made arrangements for me to have breakfast with some of the local

listeners.

Who lost a son? Okay. So please know that your son is stepping forward. Well, who are you? Oh, you`re the sister. Oh, okay. You were

very close to your brother because he says can you please get closer to my sister. He says I need her to feel me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: Due to be married soon, not planning on staying faithful? You want to sleep with one of your son-to-be husband`s closest friends? Well,

then this is the wedding dress for you. The stunning (inaudible) bridal gown has a proven track record for producing an adulterous, deceitful,

double-crossing and traitorous soulmate. A one-of-a-kind garment designed by Benedict Arnold, believed to be derived from the very cloth Judas

Iscariot himself wore to betray the only son of God, Jesus Christ. This harlot-sized ensemble will make you the envy of your trampish posse on your

fraudulent wedding day.

Okay. His words, not mine. That is a real-life ad posted online by none other than the groom.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A man has put his ex-wife`s dress up for sale after she ran off with his friend. Described as having a proven track

record of producing an adulterous, deceitful, double-crossing and traitorous soulmate. It`s said to be harlot sized and will make you the

envy of your trampish posse.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And of course this isn`t the first time there has been animosity surrounding a wedding. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wedding dresses are a big deal, especially when you`re fighting for one at a deep discount. Actually fighting.

Michelle Parker, a mother of three, took a fight over her $5,000 engagement ring to the people`s court.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And then he said that he wanted his ring. So I took it off and I threw it at him.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Charlie Zampieri (ph) sued his ex-fiancee, Jessica Bennett, to get back the diamond and sapphire engagement ring he gave her

just three weeks after meeting. A wedding dress fit for a double-crossing harlot is for sale. A man has put his ex-wife`s dress up for sale after

she ran off with his friend.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: OK, you better hurry. Apparently there are a lot of bids for this thing. Rita Cosby, what happened?

COSBY: This is such a wild story, Nancy. This 32-year-old man is married to this woman for two years. She runs off with his best friend.

He finds her cheating on him. So he puts the wedding dress online at a site called Gumtree, it`s like a Craigslist. And within 24 hours, over

4,000 offers for this harlot-sized dress.

GRACE: OK. A harlot-sized dress producing an adulterous, deceitful and traitorous soulmate. He is basically calling his wife a whore and says

she`s running around sleeping with his best friend. Okay, Justin Freiman, what more do I need to know?

FREIMAN: Nancy, you need to know if somebody wants this dress, they should act pretty fast. 200,000 clicks on this ad.

GRACE: OK. I`m looking at the ad right now. Let me go out to Eleanor and Peter. Okay, the dress is guaranteed to provide you

approximately two years of reasonable wedded mediocrity before the complete and utter disintegration of your relationship due to your extramarital

promiscuity. Can you say that, Eleanor?

E. ODOM: I think you can, Nancy, because if it`s the truth, then it`s perfectly legal to say. So I think this guy is brilliant.

GRACE: OK. So Peter, he`s going to make a fistful of money off this thing, but can he get away -- can you get away with calling your wife an

adulterous harlot? How do you show the truth of that if there is to be a lawsuit?

P. ODOM: It sounds to me like he`s going to have fun trying to prove it. All he`s got to do is call them both as witnesses to prove it. And

this isn`t about the money for him. This is about revenge. Yes, he can defame her all he wants because if it`s true, then it`s not defamation.

GRACE: Well, then -- so he`s not defaming her at all. But I guess it`s up to a jury as to what`s a whore and what isn`t a whore. Is just

sleeping with your husband`s best friend or does it have to be a really long line of men? I guess I`ll have to go to an expert on that, Caryn

Stark?

STARK: I was hoping you`d come to me, Nancy.

GRACE: I`m not suggesting you`re an expert on whores --

STARK: No, I got it.

GRACE: So what do you do with this?

STARK: Well, he`s really, really just seeking revenge. This is somebody who`s getting out his emotions, trying to find some kind of a

release. I don`t think it`s harmful to him or to anyone else if she did it. I mean if she didn`t do it, that`s different. But that`s exactly

what`s happening here.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: And now we go life to Medford, the young mother of a 4-year- old little girl goes missing under suspicious circumstances. In the last hours police discover her bloodstained BMW just one mile from home.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We love you.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tears of anguish and heartbreak from the family of missing 21-year-old Sarah Patricia Goode of Medford. Mother of a 4-

year-old daughter.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Can`t wait to give you a great big hug when you come home. We want you to come home safely.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Detectives scoured woods adjacent to where Goode`s car was found. So far nothing.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Straight out to Justin Freiman. Justin, what do we know?

FREIMAN: Nancy, we know this beautiful young mom went to work Friday morning, went out to a friend`s home to watch some TV, left the friend`s

home at 1:00 a.m., was never seen again.

GRACE: Okay. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Her car, her BMW, is one mile from home. Was her BMW, I don`t know if you know this or not, facing

toward home or facing away from home?

FREIMAN: That has not been reported yet exactly which way it was facing but it was found sitting outside of a park. It was very suspicious.

Neighbors called it in saying, hey, there`s this car, we think it might be stolen. It`s been sitting here by the woods.

GRACE: Tip line, 800-222-8477. What do we know about her? I know she`s the mother of a 4-year-old. What else do we know?

FREIMAN: She`s the mother of a 4-year-old and very close with family, which makes it very odd she`s been in contact with nobody, which is why

people are extremely concerned. She`s also a medical technician. And doesn`t work that far away from her home.

GRACE: You know, doesn`t make sense the logistics of it, Eleanor Odom. Do we know if it was a man or a woman friend, Justin?

FREIMAN: Not reported, Nancy.

GRACE: Not reported. The friend lived close by. The work was close by to the home. It was like a little triangle in Medford. So, Elle, weigh

in. We find her BMW bloodstained.

E. ODOM: Of course that doesn`t look good, Nancy. You do want to check that small radius, check with the friend, check with the work, check

with the GPS if she`s got that on the car. Anything you can to narrow that field.

GRACE: Let`s see a picture of Sarah Goode, just 21 years old. She has a 4-year-old daughter. She lives with her mother and her daughter.

She is 5`3``, 100 pounds. Long brown hair. Brown eyes. Last seen Shirley, Long Island, at a friend`s home. Just disappeared. Tip line, 1-

800-220-tips.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Medical technician described as gracious and outgoing. Police discovered her abandoned 1999 BMW on Fire Avenue.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A very close family and the circumstances, as I`ve explained, are suspicious to us.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They`re looking for her. Just as everybody else is. And we`re not going to stop.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Joining me now is Dr. Joy Carter. Dr. Carter, chief forensic pathologist, Marion County, and also the author of "I Speak for the Dead."

Dr. Carter, what, if anything, is the fact that blood in her BMW has been found?

CARTER: Well, you want to make sure that it`s the missing person`s blood. You want to rule that in. If there`s any damage to the interior of

the car such as a sharp injury, defect of the upholstery, a gunshot wound, whether or not you can match the blood up to a sample that might be stored

somewhere. You want to rule in that this is her blood and also do a really close inspection of the wooded area in the outside of the vehicle as well

as the trunk.

GRACE: Dr. Joy M. Carter joining us. Dr. Carter, another thing about the blood, the fact that it`s her BMW. The blood could be there

innocently. So how are they able to, or are they able to look at the blood and determine is it left innocently or no?

CARTER: They can actually look up the blood shape to see if it is a traumatic spill to see the shape of the droplets. Again, whether it`s

spatters, whether you have microscopic particles on the glass, on the upholstery. They have tools to check for that within the forensic

laboratories.

GRACE: And the amount of blood, where it`s located. Is it a drop, is it a spray from a blow? Is there enough to suggest a cut to the wrist, the

neck? You know, that`s what they`re looking for. With me, Dr. Joy M. Carter. Author of "I Speak for the Dead." Tip line on this case, everyone,
