the surgery now under investigation.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Joan Rivers, the famous, famous comedienne, has passed away at the age of 81.

JOAN RIVERS, COMEDIAN: I don`t like certain audiences. I hate old people! I -- oh! If you are (EXPLETIVE DELETED) old, get up and get out of here

right -- right now!

(LAUGHTER)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That video from "Stand-up Comedy" from IFC films.

And tonight, the tragic death of 22-month-old toddler Cooper, seemingly left alone for hours in a baking hot car by Daddy. But was the tot

murdered? Damning evidence Daddy sexting six different women, even sending photos of his erect penis as baby Cooper bakes dead, scratching his little

face, abrasions on the back of his head as he bangs back and forth to escape, screaming out for Daddy.

As we go to air, we confirm the father of tiny tot who bakes dead in a hot car just indicted by a secret grand jury. Charges are murder in the first.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The breaking news out of Cobb County, Georgia, the so- called hot car death.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She looks at him and she`s, like, Well, did you say too much?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A grand jury has just indicted Justin Ross Harris.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Six different phone conversations with different women, sexting.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He is the one who`s responsible for the murder of that child.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: And to Bullhead City, Arizona. An 8-year-old, a 2nd grader, little Bella, snatched from her own bedroom. In a late night press conference, we

learn the search for little Bella comes to a heart-breaking end. Bella`s body has been found.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She was last seen when she was tucked into bed a couple hours prior.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: According to the FBI forensics team, there has been a body located in that area.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A body feared to be of the missing girl, 8-year-old Isabella Grogan-Cannella.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She really will be missed!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.

Heart-breaking news tonight. World famous comedienne Joan Rivers, a personal friend, pronounced dead. After throat surgery goes horribly

wrong, she goes into cardiac arrest. Then Rivers manages to survive for days in a medically induced coma in the hope that she could recover. As we

go to air, could the death of our friend, Joan, Rivers have been avoided? The Yorkville Endoscopy clinic that performed the surgery on Joan now under

investigation.

Straight out to Kim Serafin, senior editor, "In Touch Weekly." You know, what is lost upon so many people, Kim, is that Joan Rivers is a pioneer.

Joan Rivers made possible for women that which was impossible.

I remember when I first started practicing law, there were practically no female trial lawyers ever. They were not seen in court. Joan Rivers, one

of a kind, the first edition, the uncut version -- there will never be another one like her. She helped pave the way for other women.

KIM SERAFIN, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Exactly. I think that will definitely be what goes down in history, what people remember her for, that, you`re

right, she was one of the first comedians, female comedians out there, the way that she paved the way for so many other females out there.

I mean, if you think about how many female comedians there are now, nothing was like that when Joan Rivers started -- and of course, the "Tonight" show

and getting her own show, and then, of course, even just paving the way for all of those red carpet interviews that she`s done. She really is a one of

a kind.

GRACE: For those of us just joining us, in the last hours, world famous comedienne Joan Rivers dead. Here is Joan Rivers.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIVERS: Can we talk?

Do you know what it`s like to go in the morning to take off a facial mask and realize you`re not wearing one? Oh, you don`t know!

You know what that means. You just fart like crazy.

No big deal to have a woman in the White House. John F. Kennedy had a thousand of them. I am telling you right now...

Get up and get out of here right -- right now!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: To Bonnie Fuller, editor-in-chief, Hollywoodlife.com. Bonnie, I`m still not understanding what went wrong. This was a simple procedure. It

was an endoscopy. People have them all the time.

BONNIE FULLER, HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM: Well, that is clearly what is going to be investigated because it doesn`t seem like anything should have gone

wrong. Joan appeared in really good health. Even the night before, she was out to dinner with a friend and telling him that this was going to be

no big deal, she wasn`t worried about this surgery at all.

And quite frankly, she had had a lot of surgeries. She was very open about her plastic surgeries. So it`s not like she had not been under the knife

before and had anesthesia. And so I think, though, that what we have to keep in mind is, as young as she seemed, she was 81.

GRACE: Well, the thing is, she was extremely healthy. And in a lot of people`s book, 81 is not the kiss of death. In fact, it`s still very young

for a lot of people.

Joan Rivers did more in one day than most people do in a month. You know her call time for her "Fashion Police" show was, like, 3:00 or 4:00 o`clock

AM. She was never once late. Now, say that about some of the younger stars that we know of.

For those of you just joining us, I want to get to the bottom of why Joan Rivers had to die because I don`t buy it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIVERS: Like I don`t notice! Your poor wife. Wait a second. Wait. OK. OK. OK. Riddle. Guess who this is? A 11-year-old boy at Neverland

ranch! Oh, grow up! Each one of those little (EXPLETIVE DELETED) got $35 million. Not so terrible. Oh, $35 million? I only wish I had a son! It

is just...

And that`s another thing. I hate ugly people. Get back to old. I hate -- I hate ugly people! If you are ugly and you know who you are -- I could

start right now pointing. Just get up and get out because trust me, at the end of the evening, you`re going to be just as ugly. At least be home.

Don`t you hate ugly people? I did a Jesus freak convention. They are the ugliest people on -- I have an agent -- Well, this will be good, Joan and

Jesus freaks. Jesus loves me! I think Jesus (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hates you!

I want you to look in the mirror. If Jesus loved you so Goddamn much, he`d give you a chin. I want you -- I want you to look in that mirror and tell

me how much Jesus loves you. He hates your guts! If Sharon Stone said, Jesus loves me, I`d say, Oh give me some literature. But I don`t like ugly

people! I don`t like old people!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That video of Joan Rivers "Don`t Start With Me" from LOL Comedy TV and from IFC Films.

For those of you just joining us, I know it`s hard to keep a smile off your face when you listen to Joan Rivers. But I want answers tonight. Amidst

the mourning and the grief and the prayers being sent up for her daughter, Melissa, I want answers because I do not believe that someone as vibrant

and energetic and healthy as Joan Rivers was up until the time she died -- she was doing stand-up the night before. No! This is not right!

I want to go straight out to Dr. Bill Manion, medical examiner, forensic pathologist. We understand that propofol was used to perform the

endoscopy. It`s a very routine procedure where a hose of some sort is put down your throat so doctors can look at your throat. And it can even go

down on into your stomach so doctors can look around.

An oximeter is used to look at oxygen saturations, to pick up issues with the airway. Oxygen saturation does not drop fast enough when you are

breathing adequately. So Dr. Manion, I don`t understand why Joan Rivers, an icon and a personal friend, is dead!

DR. BILL MANION, MEDICAL EXAMINER, FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST (via telephone): Well, I`ve had a few case where deaths followed routine procedures --

colonoscopies, gastroscopies similar to this. And I think they`d better look at the electrolytes, particularly potassium. Sometimes, the

preoperative testing can reveal a low potassium, and unless that`s corrected as an operative procedure goes on, the potassium levels can vary

and cause an arrythmia.

I would imagine she`s had propofol before, so I don`t believe it was some unusual allergic reaction to propofol. But we`ll have to see what the

autopsy shows...

GRACE: Well, I know they`re actually...

MANION: ... and I`m sure they`ll be looking very closely.

GRACE: ... investigating -- they`re investigating right now, Dr. Manion, the medical examiner investigating the cause of Joan Rivers`s death. And

as much as I do not want her body to undergo autopsy, I want to know what happened.

As we go to air tonight, we learn that the endoscopy clinic, the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic is now under formal investigation.

For those of you joining us, the heart-breaking news tonight that Joan Rivers has passed away -- Joan Rivers.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIVERS: Who invited Fran Drescher? It`s so cheesy, wheezy and stunning and -- and she`s so young. And I asked her why this slutty, crappy outfit.

She said it`s based on a nursery rhyme. Catch a tiger by the camel toe, if it hollers, let it go. She wore this here specifically because she wanted

to be noticed. This is as subtle as a tabasco enema. And people are screaming how you can`t wear dead animals -- and that I want to stand by,

Charlie. I`m sorry. Yes, you have to wear dead animals because I tried and live ones bite. You must wear...

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: That`s from E`s "Fashion Police."

Mike Brooks, I want to know cause of death because not only is there the oximeter that I was just talking about to measure your oxygen -- here

oxygen did not go -- she quit (ph) having oxygen. But there`s also the capnography (ph), which measures the carbon dioxide in your system. And of

course, when you have too much carbon dioxide, you`re in trouble. And that`s why you have an anesthesiologist sitting there, looking at all of

the machines and measuring your levels. I mean, to measure your oxygen, that`s when they put that little clamp on your finger. That`s all it is.

I mean, how could this have gone horribly wrong?

MIKE BROOKS, HLN LAW ENFORCEMENT ANALYST: Well, that`s why cause and manner of death is so important in this case. And that`s why investigators

from the medical examiner`s office need to go back to that Yorkville clinic, Nancy, and interview everyone who was involved in all the pre-op

procedures and the procedure itself to find out when she went into cardiac arrest.

GRACE: For those of you just joining us, Joan Rivers, icon to so many, a personal friend. I`m wearing this, that she gave me from her Joan Rivers

collection. She would send me so many necklaces to wear on the air after we became friends. Just out of the blue, I would get boxes at home. And

she would have a note written in them saying, you know, This is for you, I thought of you when I saw this.

And every time I ever saw her, which was many, many times, she was always friendly, open. And this is a hard thing to find in this business, let me

tell you -- sincere, genuine. Tonight, I know her daughter is just in shock. So please join me in prayers for her family. Joan Rivers dead at

81.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: So is that part of your life that you enjoy doing, that kind of meeting and greeting the celebrities on the red carpet?

RIVERS: When they`re nice.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

RIVERS: And we know what we`re saying.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

RIVERS: You get someone like Russell Crowe, and you want to say to the camera, He is a piece of -- get ready to bleep this -- (EXPLETIVE DELETED)

I said get ready to bleep!

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sorry about that. We do apologize for that. Joan wasn`t aware that we were absolutely live, and we do apologize.

RIVERS: (INAUDIBLE) allegedly.

(CROSSTALK)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: Tonight, the tragic death of 22-month-old toddler boy Cooper, left alone for hours in a baking hot car by Daddy. But was the tot murdered?

As we go to air tonight, we confirm the dad of the tiny tot who bakes dead in a hot car just indicted by a secret grand jury on charges of murder in

the first.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Justin Ross Harris has been indicted on eight counts, including felony murder and malice murder.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Harris sits in a Georgia jail charged with Cooper`s murder.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Police say Harris was sexting with six women while his son was dying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: His exposed (EXPLETIVE DELETED) erect (EXPLETIVE DELETED)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, where does the death penalty stand in this particular case? Because when you`re talking about malice murder, it could

apply here.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Joining me right now at the courthouse, Clark Goldband. Clark, the grand jury meeting behind closed doors to return what I have in my hands,

the official grand jury indictment. It is no longer secret. Break it down, Clark.

CLARK GOLDBAND, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Yes, Nancy. That wrapped up just a short time ago in the courthouse you see behind me. The headline here,

Nancy -- he`s indicted for not one, not two, but three different murder charges, of course, the most serious being malice murder. And Nancy, you

know what that means. Justin Ross Harris now is eligible for the death penalty.

The questions were swirling. The DA spoke a few moments ago, addressing the question that everyone seemed to have. When will a decision be made on

if the death penalty will be sought? He seemed to indicate it will come, Nancy, sooner than later, in the next two to three weeks.

GRACE: Well, I`ve got no doubt in my mind that Vic Reynolds, the elected district attorney in this jurisdiction, will seek the death penalty because

if you believe, which he had to believe in order to present this to a grand jury -- if you believe the charges in this indictment -- and again, he had

to believe these charges were true in order to in good faith give them to a grand jury to consider. If you believe that, this is a death penalty case,

to leave a child in a baking hot car while you go in to work and sext six different women, sending photos of your erect penis, even including sending

them to women that may be underage? Yes, you`re darn right you`re going to get a murder one!

In Georgia, murder one is called malice murder. That means murder with premeditation, with thought, forethought. In other words, even if just for

an instant, you intended this to happen.

Now, what are some of the ingredients that go into their decision to seek an indictment on murder one, malice murder in the state of Georgia? Well,

for one thing, the fact that Daddy had gone onto Internet sites and checked out how long it would take for a child to die in a hot car.

Unleash the lawyers. Joining me Parag Shah, defense attorney and author of "The Code." Also with me out of New York, defense attorney Jason Oshins

who practices in multiple jurisdictions.

So finally -- every time the three of us have talked about this case, you`ve been all smiley and full of good cheer. Glum faces tonight. All

right, Jason Oshins, this is going to be a death penalty case. You got any doubts about that?

JASON OSHINS, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: No, I really don`t. I think the prosecutor has geared himself up all to this. And obviously, as you

stated, he wouldn`t have brought this forth unless he felt very secure that this was going to be the end result of his work with the grand jury.

GRACE: OK, Parag Shah, what about it?

PARAG SHAH, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: I think that it`s very risky to make this a death penalty case. By them going with cruelty to children in the second

degree with criminal negligence, they`re hedging their bets. And I just don`t believe that this is...

GRACE: OK, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait! Parag...

SHAH: ... a good death penalty type case.

GRACE: Parag! Put him up! Put him up! Parag, you`re not in law school anymore. You don`t have to impress the professor. So let`s just back it

up for one moment. What Shah is saying -- let me -- let me interpret this. There are multiple counts in this indictment. One of them is malice

murder, which is murder in the first in the state of Georgia.

Another one of them is felony murder. And all you legal eagles know, felony murder is when a death occurs during a felony. It could be a bank

robbery and somebody gets shot and dies. You may not have even intended for a death to occur, but a death occurs in the commission of a felony.

Look at this baby. What they`re claiming here is this baby died during the commission of cruelty to children. There`s two types of cruelty to

children, intentional and negligent. Both of them are felonies. So either, Parag Shah, he meant to least baby in the car while he sent the

photos of his erect penis to his girlfriend, or he did it negligently. Either way, a death occurred in the commission of a felony.

And Jason Oshins, in that jurisdiction, felony murder does bring the death penalty if it is sought. What about it, Oshins?

OSHINS: Nancy, they`re vastly different. Asking me if I`m surprised the prosecutor brought this as a death penalty case -- no. Do I think,

ultimately, he`s going to be successful? I think there could be plenty of holes of credibility of a witness, particularly Detective Stoddard, will

significantly come into play. And what were those Web sites he was looking at, Nancy?

GRACE: OK, wa-wa-wa-wait, wa-wait! Mike Brooks, I can see you. You`re shaking your head, No, no, no. You`re about to jump out of your box.

What?

BROOKS: How about videotape from the Chick-fil-A, where they went to breakfast that morning, and then they left there for a 30-second drive to

drop the little boy off at the day care that`s attached to his office?

GRACE: Look at this. Look at this, Brooks.

BROOKS: You going to tell me...

GRACE: Look! Look! Look! Look, look, look, look! We -- this is us driving.

BROOKS: Yes.

GRACE: This is us in the car. We`re driving. And it`s one minute, Mike Brooks, one minute after he`s in Chick-fil-A. Everybody sees him with a

baby. What, he forgot in one minute the baby`s in the car?

What about that, Parag Shah? One minute, he forgot the baby`s in the car?

SHAH: That`s for the experts to testify and tell us...

GRACE: No! Wait a minute! Wait! No, no!

SHAH: ... what happened.

GRACE: I`m asking you, Parag. I`m asking you. You!

SHAH: Look, there is evidence and expert testimony about the forget syndrome. I assume...

GRACE: The what?

SHAH: ... that`s what the defense...

GRACE: The what?

SHAH: ... is going to be doing...

GRACE: Wa-wait! Wa-wait! The what?

SHAH: ... bringing up...

GRACE: Did you say the forget syndrome? What`s that?

SHAH: I assume they`re going have some experts that are going to talk about how he could have forgotten.

GRACE: In other words, you don`t know what in the hey the forget syndrome is. (INAUDIBLE) How am I going to spin this on TV? What`s the forget

syndrome?

SHAH: That`s not what I`m doing.

GRACE: It doesn`t make -- OK, then tell me, what`s the forget syndrome? How is that going to work? How is that going to dig him out of this hole,

Shah?

SHAH: Well, it`s my understanding that people who go off their routine oftentimes forget things that happen -- intervene in their routine. I`m

not sure. That`s why they have the experts who are going to testify about this...

GRACE: OK, you know what? I`m going to give you...

SHAH: ... because this was an accident.

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: ... to gather your thoughts on the forget syndrome. This is where Daddy`s head was. Daddy had been looking up life, single life without

children. That`s not all he was looking up. Take a listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did you uncover anything what he was doing during that day while his child was out in the car?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. What did you uncover?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He was having up to six different conversations with different women, it appeared from the messages, from Kick (ph), mostly,

which is a messaging service.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And is that a computer-related messaging service?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It is.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And these conversations he was having with these females -- of what nature were they?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The most common term would be sexting.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN BERMAN, CNN ANCHOR: : The breaking news is that Cobb County, Georgia, the so-called hot car death.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She looks at him and she`s like, what, did you say too much?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A grand jury has just indicted Justin Ross Harris.

MIKE BROOKS, HLN LAW ENFORCEMENT ANALYST: Six different conversations with different women, sexting.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He is the one who`s responsible for the murder of that child.

BERMAN: Justin Ross Harris has been indicted on eight counts, including felony murder and malice murder.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Harris sits in a Georgia jail charged with Cooper`s murder.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Police say Harris was sexting with six women while his son was dying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: His exposed (EXPLETIVE DELETED) erect (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where does the death penalty stand in this particular case? Because when you`re talking about malice murder, it could apply

here.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

NANCY GRACE, HLN HOST: For those of you just joining us, in the last hours a grand jury meets behind closed doors and brings down a felony indictment

on this man, charged with letting his son bake to death in a hot car. This after he confesses to computer searches on life as a single. Conducting

sexting while his son died in the car with six different women, sending photos of his erect penis as his son clawed at his face trying to get out

of the car. Banging his head back and forth, back and forth, trying to save his own little life.

We are taking your calls. Unleash the lawyers, Parag Shah, Jason Oshins. Also with me, Mike Brooks and at the courthouse Clark Goldband.

All right, I`ll tell you what went down, Clark Goldband, at the courthouse. Under the law in that jurisdiction, after 90 days upon the arrest you got

to have an indictment. There`s got to be a charge or you cut him free. And they`ve got to get a -- well, they get a bail hearing. So after 90

days, they go up for bond.

Check it out. There you go. There you go. We`re getting close to our 90 days. And bam, an indictment. Ninety days reached coming up in just a

couple of days.

So long story short, Clark, they either had to indict him. This is not some scheme to indict him on a certain day. They either had to indict him

or let him have a chance at bond.

CLARK GOLDBAND, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER, COVERING STORY: Well, Nancy, they knew the clock was ticking, and that is perhaps why this indictment came

down today as you just so astutely pointed out.

I also want to bring up, Nancy, the clock continues to tick now. Next up, the arraignment front and center. And by that time, we`ll know if

authorities are seeking the death penalty.

Now, Nancy, we said the headline a few moments ago were these malice murder and murder one charges if you will that you were speaking about. But there

have been other sex-related charges for interacting with minors.

And Nancy, that came on that Kick messaging service that we have just spoken about, those charges also included in the indictment. So not only

do you have perhaps the more serious death penalty eligible murder charges, you also have some technology-related charges for underage women.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The child appeared wide awake and happy.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What he was doing during that day while his child was out in the car.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He was having up to six different conversations with different women, sexting. No tears, no real emotion coming out of him.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Were photos being sent back and forth between these women and defendant during this day while the child is out in the car?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes. There are photos of his exposed penis, erect penis being sent.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now the 16-year-old girl, did she send him a picture that day?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She did.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Of what?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She sent a picture of her exposed breasts.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And did he send any pictures to her?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He did. He sent a picture of his exposed erect penis. He also did a search how to survive prison. It was called child free and

child free is people who advocate living child free.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He wanted to live a child-free life?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Not only that, he actually looked up a Web site where a veterinarian sat in a baking hot car and described what would happen for an

individual to die in a hot car. He watched the whole thing repeatedly.

For those of you just joining us, in the last hours the father of little Cooper Harris, 22 months old, baby boy, indicted on malice murder, murder

one. There he is taking a selfie in a high-end restaurant which I guess he sent to all his girlfriends online, which leads me to the question,

Nannette Sosa, reporter, News Radio 106.7.

Nannette, no indictment on the mother, although when she went to the childcare to pick up the baby and they said the baby never came in today,

her first words were, my husband must have left him in the car.

NANNETTE SOSA, REPORTER, NEWS RADIO 106.7: Another thing that she has since filled out is what`s called a Victim Impact Statement. Now Cobb

district attorney says that`s a standard operating procedure to fill this out. Some of the questions she filled out with the assistance of her

attorney, the question where it says if she is -- state the relationship to the victim of the crime. She wrote the word "self." She did not write her

son`s name. But the attorney says she is the victim and that she lives in a torrid existence now.

GRACE: Yes. Didn`t she hire Lin Wood, the high-profile lawyer, Nannette?

SOSA: That and there`s also attorney Zimmerman and that`s the one who assisted her in filling out this questionnaire. Zimmerman is the one who

says --

GRACE: Right.

SOSA: -- maybe the prosecutor sent this so they could gauge her if she would be a better witness for the prosecution or the defense.

GRACE: Yes, you know, to you, Mike Brooks, Lin Wood has represented a lot of high profile clients. Richard Jewell who was charged in the Olympic --

who was suspected in the Olympic -- bombing.

BROOKS: True.

GRACE: He didn`t do it. Also the Ramseys, the parents of JonBenet Ramsey. And in this case, Mike Brooke, what do you think about the possibility the

state may get her to testify? I mean, come on. According to the police she knew about his sexting and his relationships with other women. And you

know she was still in the relationship. So, you know, if he could convince her to stay in the relationship, maybe police could convince her to testify

against her husband.

BROOKS: That`s a good possibility. But you know, I thought there was something very interesting today. The D.A. Vic Reynolds from Cobb County

said -- he said the investigation, even though the indictment was handed down today, Nancy, the investigation is ongoing.

GRACE: Out to the lines, Tiffany in Texas. Hi, Tiffany, what`s your question?

TIFFANY, CALLER FROM TEXAS: Hi. I just wanted to make the comment that as a parent myself, I do not understand how somebody can forget that they have

their child in the car with them.

GRACE: Ridiculous. Ridiculous. You know, Parag Shah, that`s going to come back to bite you in the neck, the forget syndrome.

Joining me right now, Chris Wilkinson, friend of Justin Ross Harris, the father in this case that has just been indicted on murder and charges

relating to sex.

Chris, how stunned are you that these charges have come down?

CHRIS WILKINSON, FORMER FRIEND OF JUSTIN ROSS HARRIS: Well, first of all, my condolences, Nancy, on your friend and to the Rivers family.

GRACE: Thank you.

WILKINSON: But you know, Ross -- it`s of course upsetting anytime anyone you know is obviously charged with murder. But it`s not really a surprise

at this point given, you know, what we`ve heard thus far.

GRACE: Can you believe it? Do you believe these charges based on what you know of him?

WILKINSON: I mean, you know, as I`ve said to you before, previously it totally doesn`t mesh or co-relate with the Ross Harris I know. But clearly

the Ross Harris that we all knew and loved here in Tuscaloosa is not the Ross Harris that existed in Cobb County, Georgia.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: And out to Bullhead City, Arizona suburbs. An 8-year-old little girl, a second grader, Bella, snatched from her own bedroom. In a late-

night press conference we learned the search for Bella comes to a heartbreaking end. Bella`s body has been found.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tucked in between two neighborhoods in an open dirt patch, Mohave County Search and Rescue team discovered a body.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Isabella Grogan-Cannella was last seen in her home around 11:40 p.m.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There were no signs of forced entry or a struggle.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It sparked a massive multiagency search.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: With me right now from Bullhead City, Arizona, Jessi Reed, the news director at Murphy Broadcasting justsaynews.com.

Jesse, thank you for being with us. Tell me how little Bella`s body was found.

JESSI REED, PROGRAM NEWS DIRECTOR, MURPHY BROADCASTING: It was found near Newberry and Chaparral. It was a Mohave County Search and Rescue team who

had been looking for her for quite some time.

GRACE: What led them to that location, Jessi?

REED: A tracking unit led them to that location. You know, they were looking particularly in the area around her residence.

GRACE: You know, at this hour we know an autopsy being performed on her tiny body.

Jessi, do we know whether she was clothed and who is in custody?

REED: As far as clothing goes, that information has not yet been released. Justin James Rector has been arrested for kidnapping and first-degree

murder.

GRACE: And I take this is a friend of the mother`s?

REED: As far as I know, they were acquainted.

GRACE: To Toni Paige joining me, grandmother of little Bella.

Toni, thank you for being with us. When you first heard from Bella`s mother, didn`t she say, I can`t find Bella or Justin?

TONI PAGE, GRANDMOTHER OF MURDERED GIRL: They took her, they took her. I won`t do anything bad anymore. They got Bella. And then the next minute

their stories all change. Everybody had different stories.

GRACE: Right now, everyone, "CNN HEROES."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is a working class neighborhood. It`s difficult for a lot of us to afford fresh produce. We just have corner stores

basically. They don`t have a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: These are awesome, aren`t they?

I started farming with my daughter. The first year we were able to get 120 pounds of produce. With all the extra produce, we brought it down to

the local food pantry. I realized that people are hungry for fresh fruits and vegetables.

We grow, we clean and we give.

When we first started the program, it was basically my family. Now we`re around 4,000 volunteers.

Excellent.

It`s not just feeding people. Our goal is really to educate the folks who receive the produce.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: All right, are you guys ready for some corn?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When kids come out for the first time from the inner city, they immediately are struck by the fact that food grows out of the

ground. There you go. For them to be able to harvest it and bring it home to their families, that`s huge.

When`s the first time you ate corn right off the stalk? Look at that, huh? We also go into inner city areas and we set up a free farm market.

How are we doing? Thank you, sir.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I have diabetes and high blood pressure. Some things that I need for my diet, a lot of times I can`t afford.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You like this corn, huh?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Very sweet.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, this is good stuff.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Since I`ve been going to the farmer`s market, I have lost some weight. My sugar is better controlled and the food is delicious.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I believe that everyone deserves to be able to eat healthy. There`s no greater reward.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She was last seen when she was tucked into bed a couple hours prior.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: According to the FBI forensics team, there has been a body located in that area.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The body feared to be of a missing girl, 8-year-old Isabella Grogan-Cannella.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She really will be missed.

GRACE: Straight out to Dr. Bethany Marshall, author of "Dealbreakers." So, apparently, this Justin person, who is now under arrest for kidnap and

murder, is a friend of mommy`s.

BETHANY MARSHALL, PSYCHOANALYST, AUTHOR OF "DEALBREAKERS": Well, isn`t it always this way, Nancy? The perpetrator grooms the entire family to gain

access to the victim. And then to think that some predator had access to her and was able to -- to abduct and kill her in the middle of the night, I

think this poor little girl didn`t have a chance.

You know, I wouldn`t even leave a potted plant with this family, the way this whole story is unfolding. Let alone a child.

GRACE: With me, Dr. Bethany Marshall out of L.A.

With me now, Mary Baca, next door neighbor of little Bella.

Mary, thank you so much for being with us. I understand you saw Bella just before her death.

MARY BACA, NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR OF BELLA: I did. She had asked if she could come into our backyard to pick up her toy that she accidentally flung over

the fence.

GRACE: What do you know about this Justin Rector, the man who has been arrested?

BACA: I don`t know anything. I do recall him standing around there amongst their friends.

GRACE: You know, to Dr. Bethany Marshall, Bethany, part of being a parent, a good parent, I think, anyway, I`m certainly no expert, is guarding who

your children are around.

MARSHALL: That`s right, Nancy. Not only that, don`t ever expect anybody to be more interested in your child than you are. If somebody shows way

too much interest, befriends the child, has age inappropriate behaviors, continually volunteers to babysit the child while you`re gone, wants to

walk the child to school, take a second look. Adults who appear to love children might actually be pedophiles who are really sublimating the wish

to have sex with the child, into being like this great babysitter, so, remember, children and the elderly are the most vulnerable members of our

society. We have to watch out for them.

GRACE: Just to note, there is a death penalty in Arizona.

Let`s stop and remember American hero Army Private 1st Class Thomas Wilson, 21, Morristown, Virginia. Bronze Star, Purple Heart. Loved the outdoors,

hiking, sketching, photography, dreamed of finishing his degree in wildlife and fishery management. Mother, Julie, brother Ethan, sisters Chelsea and

Chloe.

Thomas Wilson, American hero.

A special good night tonight from England friends, Roxy, Natalie, Gabrielle and Sean. You know, those Brits look pretty good to me.

Everybody, thanks for being with us. I`ll see you tomorrow night, 8:00 sharp Eastern and until then, good night, friend.
