NANCY GRACE, HLN HOST: Breaking news tonight, a school girl found dead. Focus turns to two Virginia Tech University superstars, engineering majors,
track star, NASA intern. And this was no spur-of-the-moment killing. The Virginia Tech students plan the little girl`s murder for three weeks.
We learn the male Virginia Tech student lures the little girl, telling her they`ll run away together, marry, have children. Instead, the little girl
is lured from her bedroom and gets her throat slit?
Bombshell tonight. After just one hour of testimony, the grand jury hands down a decision.

Her sisters say their worst fears come true. Described as beautiful, bright, bubbly, a brunette real estate agent closing a real estate deal
that day vanishes into thin air. Where is Camillia (ph)?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A young real estate agent just about to close on a home vanishes.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is one of the bedrooms. It`s a good size. You can have, you know, a set of twin beds in there, walk-in closets.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Twenty-two-year-old Camillia Perez Hernandez (ph) last spoke to her family over two weeks ago. And that was the last time they
heard from her. Where is Camillia Perez Hernandez?

GRACE: As we go to air tonight, the body of a beautiful young and dedicated dental assistant has just been found. We investigate.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Kaylee (ph) went missing early Sunday morning near her West Bend apartment complex. Sawyer was texting her boyfriend Sunday
morning when her phone died.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: For some reason, she isn`t getting in touch with us. Somebody is stopping her.

GRACE: And star of "Shark Tank," seen here from ABC and Sony Pictures TV, steps up for a 4-year-old little boy victim.
Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.
Bombshell tonight. A little school girl found dead as focus turns to two Virginia Tech University superstars, engineering majors, track star, a NASA
intern. And this was no spur-of-the-moment killing, allegedly planning the child`s murder for three long weeks.
We learn the male V Techer lures the little girl out of her bedroom, promising they`ll run away, get married and have children. But instead,
when she sneaks out that night, is lured out with nothing but her Minion (ph) blanket, she gets her throat slit -- a little girl lured out of her
bedroom gets her throat slit, this little girl just turned 13. That`s just five years -- really four-and-a-half years older than my daughter -- lured
out of her home. And to attest to her age, she carries with her her Minion blanket.
Bombshell tonight. After just one hour of testimony, a grand jury hands down a decision. And the grand jury has been listening to evidence not
just about the male V Techer, the star student, the track star who apparently had been having a, quote, "inappropriate relationship" -- that
means sex relationship -- with this little girl who has just turned 13. He is now 20.
But then reportedly, tonight, we are hearing -- out to Moriah Balingit with "The Washington Post" -- that the motive for murder is that he kills her
out of fear she would expose him?
MORIAH BALINGIT, "WASHINGTON POST": Yes, that`s some of what we actually do understand, that he had had an inappropriate relationship with her. He
-- they met on line. They corresponded quite a bit on line. They had an emotional connection.
[20:05:08]He believed her to be 16 or 17. He, quote, unquote, "freaked out" when he found out that she was actually 13 and freaked out, too, when
he found out that -- or when she began referring to him as her boyfriend. So that...
GRACE: Well, if they`re having a sex relationship, Moriah Balingit with "The Washington Post" -- if the adult male is having a sex relationship
with a little girl who has just turned 13, then of course, the little girl thinks they`re boyfriend and girlfriend. And apparently, there was talk on
his end about the two of them running away together and getting married and starting a family.
Well, this is what the mother says.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My daughter, Nicole Lovell -- Colie (ph) is what we called her -- she was born May 3, 2002. Shortly thereafter, we started to
notice changes with her abdomen. After many tests and scans and blood work, she was diagnosed with hemangioendothelioma (ph), a rare tumor in her
liver. At the age of 10 months old, Colie received a liver transplant, fought for her life. After the transplant, she was able to come home at
the age of 1.
Colie tried to live a normal life up until age 4, when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. At this point, we almost lost her for the
second time. She fought once again, but after that, it wasn`t enough. Colie developed acute respiratory distress syndrome, ARDS. With the ARDS,
She slipped into a coma for six months, in which time she developed MRSA.
We were advised at that time she would only have 1 percent chance of survival. Colie once again beat the odds. After eight months in the
hospital, she was released and she started to thrive.

GRACE: Her mother still lovingly referring to her little girl as Colie. You`re seeing a little girl who had just turned, in May, 13 years old.
This is Nicole Madison Lovell. She survived a liver transplant, non- Hodgkins lymphoma. She survived MRSA, which put her into a coma. This little girl lived. But then she fell in love, or so she thought, with a
grown man, a Virginia Tech student, a track star.
This is what Colie`s father said.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: These two individuals took my daughter from this planet, and I want to know why. I want to know all the information I can
get.
It`s going to be terrible. And I`m not prepared for it. I`m not. How can any father be prepared for it?
I want to thank law enforcement and everybody that was involved in the search for Nicole and who continue to work on the case.

GRACE: I want to go out to Annie Anderson with CNN affiliate WSET. A grand jury hears just one hour of testimony before they reach a decision.
Annie Anderson, what do you know?
ANNE ANDERSON, WSET CORRESPONDENT (via telephone): Yesterday, the grand jury met at 1:00 PM to discuss the four charges that two had been
originally charged with. For David Eisenhauer, that was first degree murder and abduction. And for Natalie Keepers, that was concealing a body
and also accessory before the fact, and both of those are felonies.
And they were indicted on those. But as we were leaving court yesterday, it was kind of a weird situation because the commonwealth attorney, Mary
Petit (ph), came out after the hearing and said, Hey, you guys might want to come back in, talking about media.
Well, it turns out that the grand jury had decided to also indict David Eisenhauer on another felony of concealing a body. So now he`s facing
three felonies. That all just happened yesterday, and it was a surprise (ph) to absolutely everybody.
GRACE: Well, I`ll tell you this, Annie. I mean, when you are reportedly - - and the little girl told her friends this -- having an inappropriate or sex relationship with a grown man, and you`re just turned 13, and then
you`re lured out of your parents` home by this man, to only have your throat slit and your body dumped off the side of the road in the dirt --
what I don`t understand is if you slit a little girl`s throat as she`s clutching her Minion blanket, if Virginia`s going to have the death
penalty, why not this?
ANDERSON: Well, when we talked to Mary Petit after the hearing, she said that the reason that this isn`t a capital murder case, which could involve
the death penalty, is because there`s no evidence that there was anything sexual that happened to Nicole Lovell on the day she was murdered.
[20:10:12]Now, you can have capital murder for kidnapping and murder, but it needs to be with that intent to defile. And Mary Petit said that wasn`t
apparent (INAUDIBLE) looking over Nicole Lovell`s body in this case and...
GRACE: Well, I would advise -- Annie, I would advise -- with me, Annie Anderson from CNN affiliate WSET. I would advice the prosecutor to go back
and read the criminal law because the code in Virginia gives many aggravating circumstances under which the death penalty could be sought.
And one of those, is it not -- to Michael Christian -- that the murder was extremely or particularly heinous. And when you lure a little girl out of
her room, out of her home with her parents, with nothing but a Minion blanket in the promise of marrying her and starting a family, when you
don`t want to be found out as a child predator, a pedophile, and you slit her throat, in my mind, that is heinous!
And if you`re going to have the death penalty -- and I`m not fighting about death penalty wrong or right, which is a whole `nother can of worms -- you
want to drag this girl out of her home and slit her throat, then you need to face the death penalty, lethal injection!
Isn`t that right, Michael Christian? There`s more than one way to seek the death penalty in Virginia!
MICHAEL CHRISTIAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): Yes, that is exactly right, Nancy. As you say, the aggravator is that the crime was
especially heinous, atrocious cruel or depraved.
Also, there`s another aggravator that would seem to work here, which is if the defendant is a future danger. Well, I think you could argue that
somebody who would do that to a 13-year-old could girl could certainly be a danger to others in the future.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Nicole touched many people throughout her short life.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: According to his arrest warrant, Eisenhauer told investigators, The truth can set me free.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s hard to look at him. I`d like to be locked up in the same cell with him. I`m pretty sure I could get answers out of him.

GRACE: This guy, the man, the male that had been having this allegedly sex relationship with a little girl who just turns 19 (sic) -- he is 20 now, a
track star, an engineering student at Virginia Tech -- and boy, do we hear a lot about how awesome he is and how great he is -- there`s his picture.
Listen to him. Listen.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I just have this internal thing saying, I want to be the best. I make my personal goals achievable, like, or just out of reach
of achievable. That way, I`m always constantly striving to better myself.

GRACE: This is the guy that is now, after a grand jury`s consideration, charged in the murder of a little girl, lured out of her bedroom of her
home with her parents clutching nothing but her Minion blanket and having her throat sliced.
Ben Levitan, telecommunications expert joining me out of Raleigh, what is even more difficult to understand is his sidekick, as I call her. You`ve
got David Edmund Eisenhauer, the track star, and then you`ve got the NASA intern Natalie Marie Keepers.
Now, what was in it for her? A lot of people are going to have a hard time believing, Ben Levitan, she had anything to do with this, and that is where
Natalie Keepers`s text messages come in. Explain.
BEN LEVITAN, TELECOMMUNICATIONS EXPERT (via telephone): Nancy, at -- the kids at this age are -- they text about 20 times more than they actually
talk on the phone. So Nancy, what we`ve got is digital transcripts of all the communication between all the parties here. That wields -- we`ll
basically have a transcript of this crime, Nancy. And that includes how Eisenhauer initially got in contact with this young lady on Kick.
GRACE: And explain to those that don`t know what is Kick, Ben Levitan?
LEVITAN: Nancy, Kick is a very popular instant messaging app that`s geared towards young teens like Ms. Lovell. It`s very anonymous. You don`t have
to give your name. You just have a user name. And it also -- it`s very popular because not only can you send text messages, you can send videos
and you can send pictures.
And it`s kind of -- the kids on this app tend to place (ph) what they call sexting games, where they`ll send each other pictures, nude pictures. As a
result, this thing is a magnet for pedophiles, Nancy, because you don`t have to give your age. You don`t have to give any real identifiable
information. And so you`re going to get a ton of pedophiles in here. And that`s where all this trouble started.
GRACE: And this little girl, at one point just 12 years old, is writing a grown man who says that they`re going to get married and run away together
and have a family and an idyllic life. She gets her throat slashed as she is clutching her Minion blanket.
And I want to go back out to Moriah Balingit with "The Washington Post." How was her body found, Moriah? And I want to point out, Moriah -- and
correct me if I`m wrong -- that her body was just over the jurisdictional border, which in my mind, is no accident that she is murdered in one
jurisdiction, and they dispose of her body somewhere else.
What do we know about how this child`s body was found?
BALINGIT: So originally, what we understand from the commonwealth attorney and from police, is that he -- they had planned to dump this girl`s body on
Eisenhauer`s grandparents` property. But after her disappearance got so much media attention, they decided to change their plans.
There`s a search warrant that reveals he had actually contact with a guy that lived about 30 minute, I believe, away from Blacksburg, Virginia, in
which he had said, We need a place to hide a body.
[20:20:02]And they later decided, apparently, according to police and to the commonwealth`s attorney, to take her body to just over the North
Carolina border, and she was found I believe not far away from a road. And I don`t know the specifics of why they chose that location. Perhaps they
believed it was remote enough so that her body would not be found.
And they -- I believe they thought that people would sort of forget about her, forget about the case, and that her body would be found long after.
GRACE: You know, another thing, Moriah -- Justin, show me that photo, please, of her that we were just showing because if you look at little
Colie, Nicole Madison Lovell, she was very, very insecure because she had a scar on her throat from many of her previous surgeries.
When we show that photo, you`ll -- there you go. Thank you. See the scar on her throat? And this little girl, ever since she had that scar from all
of her Hodgkins lymphoma, coma, MRSA, 1 percent chance to live, she -- this little beauty, this little angel thought she was ugly. She`s anything but.
She`s beautiful.
And when this guy starts showing her attention on line -- I mean, he`s a grown man -- she falls for it. And with all that, it`s a perfect storm.
And to think that he and his sidekick, Nicole (sic) Keepers slit this child`s throat to cover up his illegal sex relationship with her and dump
her body out in the woods and the dirt -- if that is not a death penalty case, I don`t know what is!
Another thing. Do I understand you right, Moriah Balingit, that he actually texts somebody and says, I need a place to hide a body?
BALINGIT: That`s what we understand from the search warrant. I can`t remember the exact verbiage, but he was inquiring about place to hide a
body, a place to dump a body and...
GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Margie Mow and Riah Greathouse. Margie Mow, talk about defiling a body and premeditation, they`re planning before they
kill her where to dump the child`s body because of his illegal relationship with the little girl! That is a death penalty case!
MARGIE MOW, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You may think it`s a death penalty case, but obviously...
GRACE: Yes, I do.
MOW: ... the DA who`s handling the case, who has all of the evidence, disagrees with you and does not feel like this is a capital murder.
GRACE: Are you telling me, Margie, that there could be more evidence to support the death penalty? Because I think I`ve plenty right now!
MOW: I don`t think we have enough evidence. It`s all hearsay evidence.
GRACE: Really? Why?
MOW: It`s -- a lot of it is inadmissible...
GRACE: No, it`s not!
MOW: ... because it`s...
GRACE: No, it`s not!
MOW: ... the only people who would testify...
GRACE: No, it`s not!
MOW: The only people who testified were the officers. They testified as to hearsay evidence. Anything that they stated...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: Margie -- Margie! OK, cut her mike. Number one, hearsay evidence under the law is allowed in grand jury. Just curious. Have you ever
presented to a grand jury?
MOW: No because...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: OK.
MOW: In order to present to a grand jury, you have to be a prosecutor. Defense attorneys are not allowed in the grand jury. So no, I have not
presented to a grand jury. And the burden of proof is...
(CROSSTALK)
GRACE: Cut mike. (INAUDIBLE) not only (INAUDIBLE) but this year, too, because when you present to a grand jury, hearsay is allowed. Now, in
front of a petite or a 12-person or less jury in this country, hearsay is not allowed.
But when you have the direct evidence from the defendant stating, I need place to hide a body, can you help me out, friend? Or the girl texting,
Natalie Keepers, This is so exciting to be part of something so mysterious and secret. Yes, that`s not hearsay.
Correction to Margie. That is not hearsay. Nor -- let me ask you this, Riah Greathouse, defense attorney out of Atlanta. Would the autopsy
report, where we see the little girl has her throat slit -- that`s not hearsay, is it, Riah?
RIAH GREATHOUSE, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, it`s very tragic, but nonetheless, where`s the physical evidence?
GRACE: Is it hearsay? That`s my question.
GREATHOUSE: No, it`s not hearsay, but at the same time...
GRACE: No, of course not.
GREATHOUSE: ... there`s no physical evidence that`s linking them to this despicable act, unfortunately.

[20:28:44]UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Investigators were able to track the last messages on Lovell`s phone to Eisenhauer. He watched her climb out of her
bedroom window and gave her a side hug, prosecutors say, and left to go to Keepers`s dorm. Keepers told investigators she saw him kill Lovell and put
her in his Lexus.

GRACE: Just as we go to air, the grand jury, after hearing just one hour of evidence, has handed down a decision in the murder of this 13-year-old
little girl, who had just turned 13, against two Virginia Tech University stars, the track star, David Eisenhauer, engineering student, and the NASA
intern, Natalie Keepers, who helped him kill the girl -- this is Natalie Keepers -- according to the grand jury.
What`s so odd is that people are incensed tonight that the state is not seeking the death penalty in this case, and I agree. I mean, the death
penalty -- if you`re going to have the death penalty, what better case than luring a just turned 13-year-old little girl out of her bedroom, clutching
her Minion blanket, and you slit her throat because you don`t want the world to know that you`ve been having a sex relationship with her?
[20:30:02] If that`s not a death penalty case, I don`t know what is.
I want to go now to Caryn Stark -- Karen Stark is a psychologist joining me. Listen to her father.

PHIL MCGRAW, CBS DR PHIL`S SHOW HOST: What if police told you about how she died?
DAVID LOVELL, VICTIM`S FATHER: I know she was stabbed and I know that they even said this in court that the plan was for him to cut Nicole`s throat,
to cut my daughter`s throat. That`s all I know. Take her to some spot in Montgomery County and cut her throat. Montgomery County, Virginia.
MCGRAW: And do you know if at least that was done?
LOVELL: I know her throat was not cut, but I do know she was stabbed to death.

slept with a teddy bear, Caryn Stark.
CARYN STARK, PSYCHOLOGIST: It`s just the worst thing, Nancy. It`s so heartbreaking. And when you see this guy on the show and he looks so
innocent and all-American, it`s so deceiving and it`s really the kind of thing you have to be careful about because people will think that he isn`t
a criminal, that he isn`t insane, that he isn`t somebody that you have to be careful about, and yet he is a devious, scary criminal.
GRACE: Awful. And the girl that helped him, his sidekick. The friend girl...
STARK: And you see that a lot too, Nancy. You really see that. Sometimes there are sidekicks and they go along. They`re like enthralled by the power
of the person.
GRACE: You know, Dr. Imran Ali, resident physician joining me out of New York, she had so many stab wounds, how do we know doctor which one killed
her? Although I`m sure that cutting somebody across the jugular vein would be immediate death.
IMRAN ALI, RESIDENT PHYSICIAN: I mean, absolutely. It would depend on where the stab wounds were and I believe there was evidence of blood in his car.
So, she definitely may have bled out and, I mean, mercifully that would have been a better way. If she had a massive hemorrhage, she would have
lost consciousness and hopefully not have felt that much pain.

CAMILA PEREZ-HERNANDEZ, REALTOR: We have a gas stove. Your huge island and this one in here would be another living area with a fireplace.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The 22-year-old realtor didn`t show up for work. Camila`s family tried to reach her but no luck. Her phone seems to be off.
Police were called to report the young woman missing. Police and FBI have been searching and still no sign of the young woman.

GRACE: You know, so often we see photos of the victim, the missing person, the deceased person, but something about hearing their voice brings them to
life in a way nothing else can. And I keep looking at this girl, you know, Robyn Walensky, senior news anchor at TheBlaze Network, you know, I kept
looking at her and looking at her and she reminds me so much of that beautiful girl that married Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, so beautiful
with the beautiful skin and dark hair. Now, this girl was a realtor and she was closing a deal that day. What do we know? Who were she last seen Robyn
Walensky?
ROBYN WALENSKY, THEBLAZE SENIOR NEWS ANCHOR: Well, she was last seen apparently with her 41-year-old boyfriend. She had actually gotten a
promotion the day before she disappeared, Nancy, and they (ph) were going to give her more money. And like you just said, she was about to close on a
house and never showed up for work the next day.
GRACE: Take a look everyone at Camila Perez-Hernandez. She`s just 25 years old, 5 feet, and 105 pounds, beautiful, silky black hair, brown eyes -- a
realtor closing a deal that day that she had worked so hard on. Let`s see some more pictures of Camila because I am hoping that tonight somebody has
seen her. Her family tonight, begging for your help to find Camila. You know, Robyn Walensky, what can you tell me about her job and what do we
know about the deal she was closing that day?
WALENSKY: Well, she was apparently a very upbeat, perky realtor. She worked for Keller Williams in Richardson and she was very good at her job. They
gave her a raise and she was, by all accounts, it was just a regular deal and she was supposed to close and never showed up.
[20:40:00] GRACE: Joining me right now is team leader and CEO at Keller Williams in Plano, who worked with her. A very dear friend of her, Tami
Farnsworth is with us. Tami, thank you for being with us.
TAMI FARNSWORTH, WORKS WITH MISSING REALTOR: Absolutely.
GRACE: Tami, what can you tell me about Camila?
FARNSWORTH: Camila was just such a pleasure to be around. She was always smiling, laughing and telling jokes and she was liked by everyone in our
office.
GRACE: Did she ever not show up for work, Tami?
FARNSWORTH: No. She -- each of our agents are licensed and so they`re independent contractors. She was an individual agent for a period of time
and just recently joined one of our teams in our office who is one of the top real estate teams in the Dallas. And so they, you know, they have team
meetings and that is she was very involved. So, they had specific times that they needed to be in the office to make phone calls and things like
that and she was always on time for those meetings.
GRACE: Do you know another thing, Tami Farnsworth, who worked with and very good friends with Camila, is especially when you have a family, I think,
you invite this realtor into your life and into your world. They know your children. They know what`s important to you. Do you want to be close to
particular school? Is safety the most important thing to you -- security?
They get to be kind of part of your family during a time which, you know, if you go to those list about them as disturbing and upsetting things in
your life, moving is one of them. Moving out of a home, being forced out of a home, having to relocate can be very traumatic. People love this girl
Camila. Question, to you, Stacey Newman, she made a very critical post. A post right before she goes missing. What happens, Stacey?
STACEY NEWMAN, NACY GRACE PRODUCER: Well, we`ve uncovered this Facebook post from her about a half hour before her family last heard from her. She
claimed that she was pregnant in this Facebook post we`re looking at now, and she actually said she had an appointment with her ob/gyn the following
day when she never showed up for work.

GRACE: Just as we went to break, Stacey Newman breaks the news that just before Camila goes missing, she makes a post that she is celebrating the
discovery she`s pregnant. To her friend, Tami Farnsworth, who is the team leader and CEO at Keller Williams in Plano, did you know about the
boyfriend and if so, what do you know about him?
FARNSWORTH: I did not have any knowledge of her having a relationship with anyone or a boyfriend.
GRACE: And you know there`s a reason for that, Tami. Tami Farnsworth with us, who is very, very close to Camila. Robyn Walensky, why is the reason
she would keep a boyfriend a secret?
WALENSKY: Because he`s a 41-year-old married man.
GRACE: With children?
WALENSKY: Correct. Yes. And just, Nancy, in case people are seeing the photograph of this woman, she`s a big guy. He is 6 foot tall, 240 pounds
and he was last seen driving a Nissan, a four door. And now the FBI and Border Patrol are involved to see if perhaps he has crossed the border.
GRACE: So, he`s missing too, Robyn?
WALENSKY: Correct, yes. The thought process is, is that he might and I put might in quotes that he might be in Mexico.
GRACE: Cary Starks, psychologist out of New York, the number one reason of death amongst pregnant women in this country, believe it or not, is
homicide according to the New England Journal of Medicine. Did you know that?
STARKS: I didn`t Nancy, but it doesn`t surprise me at all because if somebody has a baby, if they get pregnant and they`re in an illicit
relationship, such as this, then there is more of a chance that they`re going to be -- this have some harm inflicted on them because that --
nothing is more damaging to a person having an affair than a woman who is pregnant.
GRACE: A baby. The tipline, 972-744-4800. Very quickly guys, tonight -- guys, the star of "Shark Tank" is with us live. A 4-year-old boy whose
prosthetic leg is stolen at family day at a beach. Before we go to the "Shark Tank" star, Kyle Peltz, what happened?
KYLE PELTZ, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: That`s right Nancy. This is heartbreaking. It was 4-year-old Liam Brenes` very first trip to the beach.
It was a day his dad planned and hoped would be special. However, when the family was down by the ocean, someone stole little Liam`s prosthetic leg
from the beach and that`s something this boy desperately needs.
GRACE: Incredible. A 4-year-old little boy goes to the beach for the first time and somebody takes his leg. Enter Robert Herjavec, star of ABC`s
"Shark Tank." Robert, how did you find out about what happened to little Liam?
ROBER HERJAVEC, ABC SHARK TANK STAR: Well Nancy, it`s incredible. Isn`t it that there are people like that out there? I was just, you know, I was
having kind of a bad day. I wasn`t feeling great, and I turn on the news and I hear this story and I couldn`t believe it. I mean it`s so
unbelievable that somebody would do that to him.
I just called into the ABC station. I called the front desk and said, "Hi, it`s the guy from "Shark Tank." I`d like to get in contact with Liam. I`d
like to pay for his leg" and that was it. We just did it to help him out.
[20:50:00] GRACE: You know, Robert, I`ve just been reporting on a missing pregnant mom and a little 13-year-old girl that was killed. But when I see
this little boy trying to stand up on his leg without his prosthetic and the little guy is so brave. He`s standing up, Robert, I mean, have you seen
that?
HERJAVEC: And Nancy, the crazy thing is in the interview that I saw, he couldn`t walk because it was going to take a while for them to get the
money to replace the leg and his dad is carrying him around. And all I could think of was, think of the memory that that little boy is going to
have in life, because I think in life, we all have those moments and it`s in those moments that things happen to us that determine what we become.
And I just thought, I`ve got to help this kid. I mane, I`ve got to do something to turn this around. There are so many negative things that
happen to people and so much hate in life, I just -- I don`t know. I just felt this overwhelming need to help and try to bring some light into his
life.
GRACE: You know, tonight, this little boy has new hope because of Robert Herjavec from "Shark Tank." And I`ve got to tell you, guys, if you are not
already a fan of his, you should be now. You know, a lot of people read about stories, Robert. They hear about them on TV or online and they want
to help but they can`t they`re too busy or they forget about the story, but you didn`t.
When you look back on this -- in a way, Robert, I think that this is not only blessing the little boy but blessing you as well.
HERJAVEC: I feel like, you know, Nancy, you know it`s when we give that we do more for ourselves and I felt so good the next day. And it`s become such
a great story. Other people have stepped up to help and it`s not just me and I think it`s the community. And I think it`s exactly what you said.
We`re all busy.
You know, it`s like we walk down the street, we see a homeless person. We step over them. We get too busy. We hear a story like Liam. It`s too easy
in life to not help. It`s too easy in life not to get involved.
GRACE: To look the other way. And you know what, I caught you being good again because not only, everybody, did Robert from "Shark Tank" get the
little boy a new leg, just for a little icing on the cake, he`s sending him to Disney. I mean, you know, what could be better than a trip to Disney?
HERJAVEC: Nancy, they don`t have a lot of money, and so we`re taking his whole family and his two brothers to Disneyland on a VIP tour. And I found
out that Liam really likes Legos so, we arranged a lunch on Monday. We`re getting him a lot of Legos and here`s the really great thing, you know, I
think we always learn by those who inspire us.
Well, I`m pretty good friends with Noah Galloway who was on "Dancing with the Stars" with me, and as you may know, he lost his leg and his arm
serving our country. And so, I`m having Noah come in to meet little Liam to show him what you can become. It doesn`t matter where you start. It doesn`t
matter what happens to you, it`s where you end up.

GRACE: A gorgeous and dedicated dental assistant, we believe, is dead. Craig Fronek, "Sunrise with Craig" on KCMX with us along with Kaylee`s
mother, Juli. Craig, what happened?
CRAIG FRONECK: A young girl, Kaylee Sawyer, you know, is out Saturday night. She doesn`t come back and then they get reports that luckily this --
this man that was a security guard in Bend (ph), turns out that his wife ends up telling what happened. And he accidentally hit her, but he panicked
and left the scene. Took her body if this -- what the report is showing and it`s just heart wrenching, Nancy. The whole town of Bend is upset -- a 23-
year-old.
GRACE: I`m just sick about it, Craig. You know, and the other thing too, Kaylee`s mom, Juli Walden Vancleave. Ma`am, thank you for being with us.
Question to you, what can you tell me about your daughter. She`s so beautiful.
JULI WALDE VANCLEAVE, MOTHER OF MURDERED DENTAL ASSISTANT: So, the thing I can tell you about my daughter is, obviously, when you look at her that she
is so beautiful, but that also in all of her pictures you see a smile, just a radiant smile and that`s because she was also so beautiful on the inside
that she couldn`t help but radiate it.
I just talked to her just a couple of days ago about how she`s been so happy and the happiest I`ve seen her in 23 years and it`s because not only
did she feel she found her one true love but also because she knew she was finally somebody`s one true love and her boyfriend, Cam, just adored her so
much and I could see that. Just that smile. You`re only as happy as your, you know...
