THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

[20:00:00] NANCY GRACE, HLN HOST: Breaking news tonight. Chilling surveillance just obtained showing a grown man, a child predator, stalking

a 9-year-old little girl around a local Kmart before assaulting the girl right there in the store. Tonight, can you identify this man?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Take a look at this shocking video. Riverside police say a man walks into a Kmart and sexually assaults a 9-year-old girl. Cops

say man put his hand under the girl`s skirt in one of the aisles. You can see the girl running away and the man immediately fleeing the store.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Tonight, after we obtain a secret jailhouse letter from convicted killer Jodi Arias revealing her legal plans to marry an art collector

obsessed with her since 2012, after slaughtering lover Travis Alexander, Arias spending time lounging, drawing erotic paintings, scheming for a

better room behind bars, tweeting her thousands of fans and watching cable TV. But in the last hours, the bride to be, Jodi Arias`s, dirty prison job

revealed.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JODI ARIAS, CONVICTED OF MURDER: If I got life instead of death, I could become employed and self-reliant.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: According to a new report, Jodi Arias is now raking in the dough behind bars to the tune of 10 cents an hour.

ARIAS: There are many things I can do to effect positive change and contribute in a meaningful way.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: In her new job cleaning prison toilets.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Did a father deliberately crash his car after leaving his little boy unbuckled in the seat to kill his tot son because Daddy couldn`t handle

the pressure of fatherhood?

Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us.

Bombshell tonight. Chilling surveillance video just obtained shows a grown man, a child predator, stalking a 9-year-old little girl around a local

Kmart before assaulting the girl. This is in broad daylight, not in a changing room. He doesn`t carry her off to a different location. He

assaults her right there in the aisle of Kmart.

But tonight, can you help us identify this man, this child predator? Let`s go straight to the video.

Tom Perumean joining me, editor with TheAdvocacyReport.com. What happened, Tom?

TOM PERUMEAN, THEADVOCACYREPORT.COM (via telephone): Well, this 9-year-old girl was in a Kmart in Riverside. It was -- she was assaulted by the

suspect, and this assault took place no more than two to two-and-a-half feet away from her mother, who had her back turned at that moment.

It just goes to show the audacity of this suspect in doing this assault right next to this little girl in a Kmart in Riverside, actually in one of

the better communities in Riverside, taking place on a Saturday. Just incredible!

GRACE: Wait. This is a Saturday afternoon?

PERUMEAN: Actually, it`s an early evening in Riverside...

GRACE: Early evening. Early evening. Take a look. There is the guy we`re looking for, comes into the Kmart, comes in from outside early

evening on a Saturday. All the lights are on, plain view. He`s so brazen and so bold. He goes up and stalks the little girl from aisle to aisle to

aisle, and then when the mom is not looking, actually sex assaults the little girl in the aisle at Kmart. It`s almost too much to believe -- with

her mother!

Now, you all know that that is how John Walsh`s son was kidnapped and murdered. His wife had Adam there in the store, and he was one row over

from his mom. He ran around the corner, like everybody`s children do. He was grabbed and never seen alive again, right there in a store.

It`s happening again at this Riverside Kmart. Now, you can`t tell me -- special guest joining me, Detective Aurelio Melendrez from the Riverside

PD. Detective, thank you for being with us. There is no way, Detective, that this is this guy`s first time at the rodeo. I would guess that this

is a spot -- and this is having prosecuted many, many cases -- that he is familiar with. He`s been to this Kmart before, I guarantee you, Detective.

[20:05:09]DET. AURELIO MELENDREZ, RIVERSIDE PD (via telephone): Hi, and thank you for having me. Yes, I agree with you. And we don`t believe that

this is the first time he`s done anything like this before. And just the comfort level that he had walking in the store -- he walked in immediately

after the family, and then the act takes place, and he runs for the doors.

GRACE: Yes, and you know, it is like that with so many criminals, Tom Perumean. The first time they commit a crime, they`re nervous, they`re

scared, they get an adrenaline high from doing it. Then the next time, not as much. Pretty soon, it`s SOP, standard operating procedure.

Take a look at this Riverside, California, video, tip line, 1-800-78-CRIME. This child predator come into the Kmart, clear as a bell. Look, we can see

everything. Stalks the 9-year-old girl up and down the aisles until finally, when he gets a chance and the mom`s not looking, he sex assaults

the little girl, then runs for the door.

You know, it`s not the first time it has happened. To Detective Aurelio Melendrez, Riverside PD, what can you tell me about this guy? What do we

know about him?

MELENDREZ: Right now, we know very little. We know that he is a white- complected male, possibly Hispanic or Caucasian. He hadn`t (ph) been seen by the family before. The store loss prevention folks that actually helped

our officers that night weren`t familiar with him. So what we have is the video, and that`s why we released it as soon as we were able to confirm

that that was the person on the surveillance.

GRACE: Well, this is why we need to find him, Marc Klaas, president, founder, Klaas Kids Foundation, because if he is so brazen at this point,

Marc Klaas, as to do this, you know, right there, under the mom`s nose -- and when I say broad daylight, what I mean by that -- it`s in plain view,

right there!

He is going to do this again. There is going to be another child victim, Marc Klaas.

MARC KLAAS, KLAAS KIDS FOUNDATION (via telephone): Well, there`s no question about that. I mean, this is an individual who has uncontrollable

urges, and he had to play them out, as has been said more than once, in the most brazen way possible.

Now, there is a silver lining, certainly not in this case, but part of Adam Walsh`s legacy is something called Code Adam, which is -- which is

administered in Walmarts. And it means if a child disappears under unusual -- or a child disappears in a Walmart, there`s an immediate lockdown, and

the trained staff then works to resolve the situation and find the child.

GRACE: You know, I just was going to ask for that map. Would you mind putting that up again, Liz? There are 329 sex offenders just in a 12-mile

radius. And that is a great place to start. I certainly don`t need to tell Aurelio Melendrez how to do his job, but that is a great place to

start.

I`m telling you, this is a local that`s been in and out of that Kmart many, many times because of the way he walks in there. He`s not looking around.

He`s been in there before. He knows what he`s doing. We don`t know if he left on foot or if he had a car, but there he is.

And we need your help tonight because this guy is going to strike again. Nobody`s immune. Whether you`re in a Costco, a Sam`s, a Walmart

superstore, a Target, in this case, a Kmart, a Ross (ph), they`re there and they`re looking for children. And this guy is brazen. He`s not even

afraid of getting caught, and that is dangerous.

Also, remember this guy? Just happened. Court is gearing up. I`m talking about the Cherish Perrywinkle case, another case where a similar incident

occurred. There you see the mom. Take a look. And there is the alleged perp. He`s been stalking them for hours now. He`s followed them from a

Family Dollar, and now he`s at Walmart superstore, and he keeps giving all his attention to the little -- Cherish. See, he follows here over there.

She`s looking at socks or something. Wherever she goes, he goes.

And the mom -- OK, look at that right there. He walks off with her, and he says, We`re going up front to the McDonald`s inside the facility. They

keep on walking. The little girl is never seen alive again. And notice, it is right under the mother`s eyes! Right there!

To Ray Caputo, I want -- hold on just one moment. I want you to hear the 911 call regarding Cherish.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

[20:10:00]911 OPERATOR: (INAUDIBLE) 911 Robinson.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, I am Walmart. My child has been taken.

911 OPERATOR: What do you mean?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Taken by a stranger. I can`t find her!

911 OPERATOR: OK, ma`am. How (AUDIO GAP) When you say you`re at the Walmart, on Lem Turner?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, I am.

911 OPERATOR: OK, when was -- where did you last see her at?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Walmart. I met a man today at Dollar General. He saw that I was struggling to buy them some clothes. He drove us here to

buy us some clothes. And the only reason I went with him, because he said his wife was going to be here because I told him I don`t take rides with

strangers.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: OK. The Cherish Perrywinkle case is going forward, as you all know. The guy that was going to help them buy clothes when he spotted a

mom in distress is now accused of kidnapping, assaulting brutally and murdering little Cherish.

Well, in the last hours, a bombshell ruling in the prosecution of this case. Listen to this tape that now a jury will be able to hear.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There was two females with the client (ph). I mean, with Wesley (ph). And I don`t know. I can`t tell you how old these girls

were (INAUDIBLE) But man, this one looked like about 12, 13, 14 at the most, you hear? Big (EXPLETIVE DELETED) cantaloupe-sized (EXPLETIVE

DELETED) and got a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) that make cocoa look like (EXPLETIVE DELETED), you hear? (INAUDIBLE) wine glass on top of this girl (INAUDIBLE)

(EXPLETIVE DELETED) fit perfectly. (EXPLETIVE DELETED) fake eyelashes, fake nails, fake hair (INAUDIBLE) like a grown (EXPLETIVE DELETED) woman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: The bombshell ruling, the jury will hear the secretly recorded tapes. It`s just come down. The ruling has just occurred. And at the

same time, another public sex predator walking the aisles of Kmart is on the loose.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

[20:16:07]UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Shocking surveillance video. Police say a 9- year-old girl is sexually assaulted inside a Riverside Kmart. The man can be seen walking into the store, fidgeting with his hooded sweatshirt.

While he`s in one of the aisles, cops say he put his hand under the girl`s skirt. The man immediately flees the store after the assault.

911 OPERATOR: Is she a white or black female? What color, sir?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don`t remember what clothes she`s wearing because I`m panicking right now. I`m trying not to panic.

911 OPERATOR: OK. And she was last seen with this man?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. He said he was going to McDonald`s but he hasn`t been there because the store is closed right now.

911 OPERATOR: OK. Is he a white man or a black man?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A white man. He`s got white short hair and he`s got dark eyebrows.

911 OPERATOR: Did you say dark short hair?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No. He`s got white hair and dark eyebrows.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Cherish Perrywinkle was kidnapped in a Walmart superstore, assaulted and murdered brutally, her body found half submerged in water.

She had been asphyxiated dead. The alleged perp was covered in scratches where the little girl fought for her life.

In the wake of that case with a bombshell ruling in the last hours, another child predator out in the open, brazenly. Here he is. This is in a Kmart

in Riverside, California, and we are on the hunt.

I want this guy off the streets. I guarantee you, if he hasn`t already done it, he will attack another child. In the open -- let`s play the video

in full, please, Liz and Charles. This guy comes in, all the lights are on. He doesn`t even try to get the child out of an aisle away from her

mom, hide her in a dressing room. He sex assaults her right there in the aisle while Mommy is not looking!

To Marc Klaas, president, founder Klaas Kids Foundation. Marc, how many times a day do children get lost in grocery stores, department stores,

superstores like this? And it can all go sideways so fast!

KLAAS: Well, it can, Nancy. And unfortunately, people never learn the lesson from the Adam Walsh situation. I see children randomly walking

around these kinds of establishments on a regular basis.

So it`s good that there`s some kind of a system in place, at least in certain responsible stores, to be able to assist in these kinds of

situations.

Another thing that happens though, Nancy, is these guys -- they may not take child out of the facility, but they certainly will take the child into

a bathroom and assault and sometimes even murder the child in the bathroom. If you remember Sharise Williams (ph) from some years ago...

GRACE: I certainly do.

KLAAS: ... that`s exactly what happened to her.

GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Eric Johnson, defense attorney, Atlanta, and out of Maryland, Robin Ficker, defense attorney. OK, Ficker, I know the

two of you are going to tell me I`m wrong, but I guarantee you this is not the first time, Ficker, that this guy has assaulted a child. You don`t

start -- you don`t graduate to sex assaulting a child in plain view. No! He walked in. Did you see the video? He walks in. He knows what he`s

doing. He stalks the child, assaults her and makes a run for it.

ROBIN FICKER, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: I`m not sure this child was assaulted. Who says she was? A 9-year-old is inherently unreliable. I don`t believe

it actually happened. It`s not caught on tape. I didn`t see the assault...

GRACE: Then why did the guy run? Why did he run?

FICKER: He had some place to go. We cannot see the assault on this tape.

[20:20:02]GRACE: OK. You know what? You do have me over the barrel because the row obscures exactly what he`s doing to the child. But you see

him approaching the child. You see them go out of view. The child lets out a shriek, and shortly after that, you see him running for it.

He certainly wasn`t shopping, Eric Johnson.

ERIC JOHNSON, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Well, he may not have been shopping, and there may have been evidence that he may have followed them in the store.

But as the other attorney says, there is no assault on tape. And also, his uneasiness, his unsteadiness and things of that nature I would say means

that this probably was his first time. This may have been a crime of opportunity.

GRACE: Does that make it better?

JOHNSON: Well, no, it does not make it better, but it definitely goes to his defense. It shows that he`s not a malicious animal...

GRACE: Put him up, please.

JOHNSON: ... that you`re making him out to be. This may be a situation where this man is suffering from some form of mental illness...

GRACE: Oh, here we go!

JOHNSON: ... and this was a crime of opportunity.

GRACE: Well, you know what? If he`s crazy, he`s crazy like a fox and knows how to track down a prey and attack at just the right moment.

You know, another thing on that same line of questioning -- to Detective Aurelio Melendrez, joining me from Riverside PD. You know, Detective, I

have had so many defense attorneys, both on the air and when I was prosecuting felonies in inner city Atlanta say, You can`t pay attention to

what a child says.

That is absolutely not true. In fact, there are whole units devoted to crimes on women and children. Children have to testify every day of the

week, Detective!

MELENDREZ: Yes, they do. And I`m assigned to our sexual assault and child abuse unit where our primary caseload is children under the age of 14, and

they testify all the time. And they are reliable because they tell you what they felt, saw and happened. And there is no addition (ph) coming in

from there.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

[20:25:52]UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Police need your help finding this man caught on surveillance video. Cops say he sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl

inside a Riverside Kmart. Police believe he`s a Hispanic male, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Won`t you please help us identify this guy? Somebody can identify him. The tip line, 1-800-78-Crime.

And what can you tell me, Detective Melendrez, about face recognition software?

MELENDREZ: Well, in certain circumstances, it`s helpful. You can either use a photo, a video, any image that they can apply, and using different

points on the face that can help marry (ph) a pool (ph) of individuals that may have similar characteristics as the person in the photo that you`re

sharing. I`m not an expert on it. We have others that are and those are the ones that we turn to if we`re going to use something like that.

GRACE: So we`re going to try face recognition software and use the data from this picture. So far, the picture is not clear enough for that to

work, but hopefully, it`s going to be enhanced.

Back to Ray Caputo, reporter with WDBO on the Cherish Perrywinkle story. The bombshell ruling that these tapes from the alleged perp that were made

without him knowing has just come down. The jury will be able to hear the way the perp talked behind bars about little girls, talks about their

bodies in the most derogatory sense.

Liz, could you cue that up for me? What led the judge to that ruling?

RAY CAPUTO, WDBO (via telephone): Well, Nancy, the prosecutors decided to record Smith in the first place after one of his jail buddies said they had

information about a previous unsolved rape and murder Smith told them about.

But here`s the thing. They knew the guy was lying, and they still recorded him anyway. So Smith`s attorneys are arguing that he wasn`t allowed to do

that because Smith had signed some forms saying he wasn`t going to talk to the police.

Now, here`s the thing. The inmate came initially with that information didn`t even know those recordings were being made. The judge agreed, ruled

against Smith, and those recordings are going to be allowed in court.

GRACE: Liz, I want to hear that recording again. And remember, there were hours and hours and hours. None of it has been redacted. We`ve been

through every single minute that has been released, and we think we know what`s going to be played in court.

What more do we know, Matt Zarrell?

MATT ZARRELL, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER (via telephone): Well, we know that a detective testified that he dressed up as a maintenance worker to actually

place the recording equipment in the vents. And the device was then removed 74 hours later.

But I should note, Nancy, that the state says that the most significant parts were taken out and will be used at trial against Donald Smith.

GRACE: To Dr. William Morrone, while I cue up that sound -- her body was discovered partially submerged in water. Can we still get DNA from it?

Because I have no doubt in my mind, based on the photos I see of the inside of the perp`s car, that she was molested.

DR. WILLIAM MORRONE, FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST: We may not be able to get DNA from skin or hair samples. But if there was a transfer, the transfer of

fabric onto the body, that`s an easier transfer from his clothes. DNA may not last under water, but the transfer...

GRACE: Hey, look at the screen, Dr. Morrone. We`re showing photos we`ve just gotten from the police files of the inside of the perp`s car. We

believe there is blood on the carpet. Her hair is in there. We believe that this was essentially the murder van where this child was molested and

murdered and then submerged in water. We have just obtained these in the Cherish Perrywinkle case.

Go ahead, Dr. Morrone.

MORRONE: I agree 100 percent on the samples. The DNA of the victim inside the vehicle is affirmation for that`s a crime scene. And blood and hair

will stand up in court.

[20:30:07] GRACE: You`re darn right it will, Dr. Morrone. This is the photo of hair and blood found inside the perp`s van. There is the slicker we

believe that she had on her person the day that she was taken.

Everyone, right now, more chilling reports of creepy clowns attempting to lure children into the woods. To Michael Christian, very quickly, what are

these clowns accused of doing?

MICHAEL CHRISTIAN, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Nancy, supposedly they`re enticing kids into following them into the woods. Either offering them candy or

treats or promising kids large amounts of money to go with them.

GRACE: You know, the thing is, Michael, I almost hate to publicize it because I believe we`re getting the copycat effect, but it is more

important to warn parents. When did the clown sightings start, Michael?

CHRISTIAN: The first was on August 21st, and there have been at least eight since then.

GRACE: And look at the places, Ohio, Winston-Salem, Greenville. Where specifically have the clowns been seen trying to lure children?

CHRISTIAN: Usually in a wooded area or near a wooded area. They want the child to go with them into the woods. Relatively rural areas.

[20:35:00] (COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Exciting news tonight. Everybody`s favorite magazine, the "National Enquirer," featuring an excerpt from the new Hailey Dean murder mystery,

highlighting unsolved homicides and joining us here on the air.

Well, the "National Enquirer" and the Hailey Dean preview sneak peek hits the stands today.

Portions of proceeds from "Murder in the Courthouse" go to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Pre-orders come with an

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JODI ARIAS, CONVICTED KILLER OF HER BOYFRIEND TRAVIS ALEXANDER: Travis offered me -- offered to pay me $12.50 an hour. He wanted me to wear one of

those French maid outfits.

TRAVIS ALEXANDER, JODI ARIAS` VICTIM: You cannot say I don`t work that bootie.

ARIAS: Oh, never mind, you do know how to work the bootie.

I was working at Applebys.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: According to radar, Arias has been assigned the prison job of porter which includes cleaning prison toilets, making a huge salary

of 10 whole cents an hour.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Tonight, we obtained a secret jailhouse letter from convicted killer Jodi Arias, revealing her legal plan to marry an art collector, obsessed

with Arias since 2012, after slaughtering lover Travis Alexander.

Arias spending time, lounging, drawing erotic paintings, scheming for a better room, tweeting her thousands of fans and watching cable T.V. But in

the last hours, the bride-to-be, Jodi Arias` dirty prison job revealed. The job is what, Alexis Tereszcuk, senior reporter, radaronline.com?

ALEXIS TERESZCUK, RADARONLINE.COM SENIOR REPORTER: She is a porter which is basically a janitor. So, she is going to be cleaning the prison that she is

...

(CROSSTALK)

TERESZCUK: ... going to be living in the rest of her life.

GRACE: A porter. That is certainly putting perfume on the pig. She is cleaning commodes, toilets. And a lot of speculation that her legal team,

her appellate legal team, is actually going to file a motion to keep Jodi Arias from having to scrub toilets behind bars, claiming that she is being

singled out.

Okay, with me right now, Barrett Marson, former director of communications for Arizona Department of Corrections, CEO of Marson Media Firm. Barrett,

you know the lawyers are going to have a golden opportunity to hit the talk show circuit claiming that Jodi Arias is being singled out to scrub

toilets. Is it true? Is she being singled out?

BARRETT MARSON, FORMER DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS FOR ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS: Hey, Nancy, thanks for having me on. First of all, I`m not

sure that Jodi will actually be scrubbing any toilets because she is in maximum security. She may not be actually going into anyone else`s cell.

She could be ...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Well, Barrett ...

MARSON: ... scrubbing her cell.

GRACE: ... this is the report that we are getting. So if she is assigned a particular duty, of any sort, is she being singled out?

Alexis Tereszcuk ...

(CROSSTALK)

MARSON: Absolutely not.

GRACE: Yes, I agree. I knew you were going to say that, Barrett Marson. So Alexis Tereszcuk, radaronline.com, where are you getting your info that Ms.

Arias is going to have to scrub toilets?

TERESZCUK: Directly from the prison. And in fact, it is also on the prison website. Here`s the thing. Jodi has been singled out the entire time since

she`s been there because she`s been misbehaving behind bars.

She has had -- she`s had a violation where she called the guard a nasty word that I know that I`m allowed to say on your show and she was slapped

with a 180-day penalty where she was not allowed to have any contact visits. So, she is not a model prisoner by any means.

GRACE: OK. So Jodi Arias finally gets a job besides painting erotic paintings and reading her fan mail and cashing the checks, I guess, she`s

getting from her devoted admirers.

But you know what? Here`s something I`ll never forget. Listen.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALEXANDER: Actually (inaudible) and she`s just waiting on the (inaudible) probably use a 12-year-old girl for (inaudible).

[20:40:00] ALEXANDER: That`s so hot.

ARIAS: I know. Sounds like what?

ALEXANDER: A 12-year-old girl (inaudible) hot little girl.

ARIAS: You`re mad. You make me feel so dirty.

ALEXANDER: You are dirty. I can give you (inaudible) but, you know, I keep coming in (inaudible).

ARIAS: (Inaudible).

ALEXANDER: (Inaudible) I just want to (BLEEP)*fest with you. I like that term. It`s a marathon.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: So, let me understand something. Unleash the lawyers. Eric Johnson, Atlanta; Robert Ficker, Maryland.

OK, Eric Johnson. You just heard her saying happily, gleefully, seductively, you make me feel so dirty. So, if it is OK to talk to her

murder victim about being dirty, what`s wrong with cleaning the commode?

JOHNSON: Well, I mean, there`s nothing wrong with cleaning the commode unless she`s being set aside for some type of unjust punishment or anything

...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Unjust punishment.

JOHNSON: Well, I mean ...

GRACE: Now, I guess -- are you equating this, sir, to cruel and unusual punishment outlined by the constitution of the United States?

JOHNSON: Cleaning toilets is definitely not cruel and unusual. However, she`s being subjected to things ...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: And what`s your basis?

JOHNSON: Well, I`m only going off what`s been reported that the fat that she`s going to have to be cleaning toilets in this situation in this

continent. Other people are situated, they are not even required to do, then it would be unjust if they`re forcing her to do it.

GRACE: So Eric Johnson, if I have to clean my house and clean my toilets behind my two 8-year-old twins, are you telling me it is OK for me to have

to do it? I`m the only one who does it. Am I singled out? Why shouldn`t she?

JOHNSON: Well, I understand that, but I don`t think your 8-year-olds are going to be anywhere near as nasty as the people in that prison. So, I

think ...

(CROSSTALK)

GRACE: Oh, so, now it`s the nastiness of the commode. OK. Yeah.

All right, Robin Ficker, you might laugh about it, but if this motion is in fact filed, they`re actually going to waste court time on this? This is

just another stunt by Jodi Arias.ATTORNEY: Well, Charlie Brown, why is everybody always picking on me? They don`t allow this poor girl to have any

visitors for six months because she calls a guard a name that`s probably she`s been called many times in the jail by these same guards? What about

some free speech in the jail?

GRACE: OK. I don`t think those rights extent to the jail. Lillian Glass, Dr. Glass, psychologist, body language expert. Lillian, this is just, in my

mind, and Lillian, you have disagreed with me in the past, in my mind, all of this is another stunt by Jodi Arias.

If she makes claim that she is being singled out for punishment behind bars by being told she has to clean the bathrooms, I think this is just another

stunt, a way of her twisting the system.

DR. LILLIAN GLASS, PSYCHOLOGIST, BODY LANGUAGE EXPERT: Nancy, I agree with you wholeheartedly because she is a manipulator. We saw it in the

courtroom. We see in it every situation. She manipulates men to put money into her account, so she buys all kinds of things at the commissary. Men

also put things in her account so she has money for her appeal.

So, this is a woman who is highly manipulative, and she will do anything for attention. She loves it.

GRACE: Take listen to Jodi Arias who won "American Idol" behind bars.

ARIAS, SINGING `O HOLY NIGHT`: Long lay the world in sin and error pining `Til he appeared and the soul felt

Its worth

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices

For yonder breaks a new and

Glorious mourn

Fall on your knees O hear the

Angels voices.

O night divine O night when Christ was born ...

GRACE: Did a new father deliberately crash his car after leaving his little boy unbuckled in the seat to kill the tot because daddy couldn`t handle the

pressure of fatherhood?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He slammed into a parked car. Then hit another.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I heard a youngster crying.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Inside the mangled metal, a 2-year-old boy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I saw dad hitting it and said he was ...

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Joining me, investigative reporter Randy Corporon. Randy, listen to what we have just obtained the 911 call.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, car accident in front of (redacted).

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Any injuries?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, there is a person inside, his head is down. I called an ambulance. His nose looks like it is bleeding.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Are there just the one car or more?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: One car.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What did they hit?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Another car. I hear a baby crying. I hear a baby crying.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: OK. So it`s two cars involved then?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, one car. It hit parked cars. It hit parked cars.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: OK. Are you with the injured people or no?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Not yet. We`re around the car.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: OK. OK, I`m gonna call ...

(CROSSTALK)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, oh, Hey! The man is hitting -- the man is hitting the child who is crying. So, call social services too.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Wait. Why is he doing that?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I guess the baby is crying in his ear and he`s upset so he just elbowed the child.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: Why did he do it? Because he tried to kill his baby, and when he heard the baby crying he began beating the baby. Do you see this mangled

car? That. That. Randy Corporon, what happened?

(20:50:00) RANDY CORPORON, INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER: Well, this father apparently took his son to the park to play and while he was watching him

play, plotted how to kill him.

He put him into this automobile without a seatbelt, without a restraint. Of course, he fastened his own seatbelt and then he drove around the

neighborhood at high rates of speed. He reported himself up to 75 miles an hour to crash the car into parked cars in an attempt to kill his son.

GRACE: You know, it is almost too much to take in, Matt Zarrell. A father, this guy, Nathan Weitzel, a young dad, overwhelmed by the pressure of being

a new father.

Allegedly plot -- takes the boy, the little tot, to a playground. And as the tot is playing in a swing, he is contemplating how he can kill his

baby.

I mean, when you go to the playground and you see all the moms and dads there with the babies, the children, it is hard to take in that one of them

may be plotting how can I kill that child?

He goes there, according to police, buckles his own belt, leaves the child loose in the vehicle then intentionally revs up to 70 plus mph and plows

the car into a fixed object, crashing the car so he would live and the child would die. Matt Zarrell, what more do we know?

ZARRELL: We know that officials are saying there are no tire marks and seemingly no attempt by the driver to slam on the brakes. Witnesses don`t

remember hearing any screeching before impact and even the driver himself estimates he was going at least 75 miles per hour when he crashed into

multiple parked cars.

GRACE: Dr. William Morrone, renowned forensic pathologist, medical examiner and toxicologist out of Madison Heights. Dr. Morrone, again, thank you for

being with us. You know a ...

(CROSSTALK)

MORRONE: Sure.

GRACE: ... huge percentage of child deaths are from crashes. I can`t say accidents because a lot of them are drunk driving and reckless driving but

in this case, to plan that out. But how can we prove it was intentional, Dr. Morrone? And what can you tell me about the injuries?

MORRONE: Well, we can tell you that whenever a child has a concussion, if we look at the skull, even in a child`s skull, which is not solid bone yet,

it is protected but it flops back and forth and can get bruised and that`s where we get the concussion part.

The only benefit is that at a young age, there is much more healing capacity. But just shaking the head back and forth bounces the brain that

will cause damage.

In long bones, long bones meaning arms and legs, they`re not all full solid bones yet in a child, either, which is to the child`s advantage. So, being

light and being made more out of cartilage and not so much out of bones is the way God protects children from these kinds of accidents. But the impact

that you`re getting is not natural and it is not an accident. That`s where this is premeditated and very dangerous.

GRACE: So, bottom line, what this father allegedly thought, but I believe he thought was that this will be chalked off as if another accident. Nobody

will ever know I intentionally killed my child.

[20:55:00] (COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRACE: Unleash the lawyers, Eric Johnson and Robin Ficker. So Robin Ficker, what this father thought was that he could have this crash, he might get a

black eye or a broken arm and his child would be killed, Ficker, and it would be chalked off to a horrible accident.

FICKER: Nonsense. Temporary insanity. At 75 miles an hour, you can`t believe that you won`t get seriously hurt, just a little bruise. Something

was wrong with this man`s brain.

GRACE: Yeah, he`s a killer, Eric Johnson, because he is not crazy. We know plotted the murder sitting there at the playground.

JOHNSON: Well, no one knows that. He`s a depressed -- he`s a depressed drug user, so that`s what it is right here. That`s the defense.

GRACE: Oh, OK. Dr. Lillian Glass, can you take these two to school, please?

GLASS: Yes. Selfish narcissist. It was too much for him so he decided to kill the child.

GRACE: And what`s so crazy, Dr. Glass, this was not an accidental birth. He and the wife planned to have this baby.
