Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone, I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, the two big SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusives everyone will be talking about - the octomom`s attorney and the tattoo artist who inked a gun on Rihanna. It is all coming up.
HAMMER: But first tonight, dancing danger. Tonight, "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Shawn Johnson may be feeling at least a little safer now following the arrest of a man accused of stalking her. But tonight, is the teenage Olympian really out of danger?
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can now bring you brand-new details and courtroom video of the man police say had a loaded gun and tried to break into the set of "Dancing with the Stars." We are also getting our very first look at Shawn Johnson since we learned of the stalker scare. And it is all making big news right now.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, Shawn. How you doing, Shawn?
ANDERSON (voice over): Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson was all smiles in this TMZ video of her leaving a rehearsal from her gig on "Dancing with the Stars." But in another part of town, a frightening scene.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: People versus Robert Michael O`Ryan.
ANDERSON: In an L.A. courtroom, we got our first look at Robert O`Ryan, the alleged stalker accused of trying to break into the studio where "Dancing with the Stars" is staged. Johnson`s parents fear he may have intended to kidnap her.
AMY PALMER, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Allegedly, what were found in the car were love letters, duct tape and two loaded guns - a shotgun and pistol. Very, very scary.
ANDERSON: At his arraignment, O`Ryan pleaded not guilty to stalking and weapons charges. The commissioner boosted his bail from $35,000 to $220,000. And she laid down the law on the suspect.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE JUDGE: You are to have absolutely no contact with Shawn Johnson. You are to stay at least 500 yards away from Ms. Johnson.
ANDERSON: Though O`Ryan is locked up and Shawn Johnson continues to dance. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you given the suspect`s creepy, alleged obsession with this well-liked young star, some are asking a disturbing question - is Shawn Johnson in danger?
PALMER: It really seems like he is very obsessed with Shawn Johnson.
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has obtained the restraining order application that Johnson`s parents filed against O`Ryan. And you won`t believe what they say about O`Ryan.
PALMER: Allegedly, this man was so obsessed with Shawn he drove from his home in Florida to the "Dancing with the Stars" studio. And he told police that he was convinced Shawn was supposed to have his baby.
Allegedly, this man believed that Shawn was speaking to him through the television set, luring him to her side.
ANDERSON: Johnson`s attorney says thankfully studio security and the LAPD acted in time.
PHILIP COHEN, SHAWN JOHNSON`S ATTORNEY: Shawn was never in any specific physical threat. Everyone moved in very, very quickly to squelch the situation.
DARREN KAVINOKY, ATTORNEY, KAVINOKY LAW FIRM: I would say that in this case, law enforcement has done everything that they are legally entitled to do.
ANDERSON: Los Angeles Attorney Darren Kavinoky tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT he is satisfied with the legal system`s response to the alleged threat against Johnson.
KAVINOKY: They increased the bail. They issued protective orders. They responded quickly. So there is really nothing more the system can do to protect Shawn.
ANDERSON: But Amy Palmer of "In Touch Weekly" tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she wonders if that is enough.
PALMER: We know restraining orders are made to be broken. These people who are stalking celebrities or your average person - they`re not in their right frame of mind, that`s why they have a restraining order. It is still a risk that this family is facing if he gets out.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Are you feeling safe, Shawn?
ANDERSON: For now, Shawn Johnson reportedly has increased her security and plans to continue on "Dancing with the Stars." In the meantime, she is getting a scary education about the potential dangers of life in the public eye.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
If he is convicted of the charges against him, O`Ryan could face up to four years in prison.
HAMMER: Right now, big new developments in the octomom drama. Two more octo-babies are home sweet home, and it is making big news right now. The octomom picked up babies five and six from the hospital on Thursday night with absolutely no fanfare and no drama.
So I have got to ask - is the octomom turning things around? And the nurses the octomom fired from the nursing group Angels in Waiting have some fiery words for the octomom. But do their controversial claims hold any water? Or is the octomom winning the baby battle now?
Joining me in New York is Laura Lake who is an attorney and author of this book, "Girl, Let Me Tell You." Also in New York tonight, Jane Velez- Mitchell, host of "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL." You can catch it week nights right here on HLN.
OK, we know what a roller coaster of a week this has been, ladies, in the world of octomom. But despite the drama, the hospital did go ahead and release two more octo-babies. Jane Velez-Mitchell, what does that tell you?
JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": Well, it tells me that the situation in the home is apparently not as bad as Angels in Waiting said it was. Otherwise, Kaiser Permanente Hospital, a very respectable, reputable institution would not have released young children into a dangerous, life-threatening situation.
Remember, Angels in Waiting made three complaints to Child Protective Services, one about the media. Well, the media fanfare has died down quite a bit. Another one was about security. Well, I hear that the local police department is now in contact with the attorneys for the family and they are coordinating. So that may have been alleviated as well.
I do think that a lot of questions remain. And I wonder where CPS is, but obviously, Kaiser-Permanente felt that this was an OK situation to release these kids into.
HAMMER: Right. But along with those questions that remain, as you mention - there is a new sort of sense of calm going on. You remember the chaos that we saw when octomom`s first two babies came home, this time, no paparazzi. Not the same kind of madness, Lauren.
Do you think this is a sign perhaps that the octomom is turning things around?
LAUREN LAKE, ATTORNEY: I hope so. We can`t say for sure. But you know, when I was here the other day with you, A.J., I was talking about everybody in the situation needs to bring it down a notch.
It had turned into a frenzy and it was ridiculous. There was no way that these children could grow up healthy and happy with this kind of craziness going around. So the fact that things have calmed down and the situation is more bearable, maybe, just maybe, we can see some normalcy return to life with the octomom. I`m keeping my fingers crossed.
HAMMER: Well, I think everybody is. You know, saw Dr. Phil get involved to broker the deal with Angels in Waiting. That didn`t up working out. He has since backed off. Imagine being these octuplets years from now watching those tapes of Dr. Phil.
And since octomom fired Angels in Waiting, wow, have they made jaw- dropping claims against her. Now, the nurses` attorney, Gloria Allred, told me right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that they think the octomom was constantly neglecting the babies. Watch what Gloria said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY: They urged her to come in, bathe the babies, change the babies, hold the babies, love the babies, feed the babies. And she didn`t - she was just basically missing in action. A lot of times, she was out of the home. We know she was shopping for clothing or other things.
And she needed to be with her babies when they came home from the hospital, because, otherwise, she had no meaningful involvement -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. So the octomom`s attorney is here tonight to respond to these claims in an exclusive interview. That`s coming up in just a bit.
But Jane, let me ask you this and going back to what you`re saying about there is still being more questions - are these claims worth investigating that she really was not spending sufficient time with the kids?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Absolutely. A.J., I wonder where is Child Protective Services in all of this. With all this controversy and hullabaloo, you would think they`d have armies of investigators from Child Protective Services going over every pillow in every crib.
And we haven`t heard that. And I`m sure we`d the media reporting on this. We would have heard it had that been going on. But I do want to make an important point here that hasn`t been mentioned enough.
Kaiser-Permanente has sent nurses to this home to train the private nurses who are now watching over these children. So it`s not like it is just Nadya Suleman and these devil-may-care private nurses. There is supervision and it`s being done by the hospital.
HAMMER: Yes. And that`s absolutely important that people know so they don`t have the sense that these kids are involved in some kind of a free- for-all at the Suleman residence.
The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines continue to be flooded. Our viewers calling in. And a lot of them now siding with the octomom. This has been sort of a sea change. Listen to Dory calling from Indiana.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
DORY, CALLER FROM INDIANA: I`m glad she sent Angels in Waiting home. I`m glad she has finally got those babies to herself and she can raise them the way she wants. And Everybody just needs to just leave her alone. Good lord, leave her alone.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Dory. Lauren, Dory is saying "leave octomom alone." And as I said, we`re getting a lot of calls like this. Is it time to just let the octomom begin the chance to do things her way?
LAKE: We have to. They`re her babies. No matter what we all think, those children belong to her, like Jane said. Until we really see some proof and evidence that she is an unfit mother, there is nothing anyone can do but give her the opportunity to do it the right way. Not necessarily her way, but the right way.
HAMMER: Fingers remain crossed as initiated by you on this program. Lauren Lake, thanks for being here. Lauren, Jane Velez-Mitchell, we appreciate it. And please keep in mind, watch my good friend Jane every night 7:00 p.m. Her show is "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL." It`s right here on HLN.
And of course, for a complete coverage of all things octomom, you have got to check out the octomom drama section of our Web site, CNN.com/ShowbizTonight is where it`s at.
HAMMER: Now, I want to turn it over to you. Here`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Two More Babies Home: Is the octuplet mom turning it around?" What do you think? Let us know at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight, or E- mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.
HAMMER: So, Brooke we have got such a big octomom exclusive tonight.
ANDERSON: We do. And that`s not the only blockbuster exclusive we`ve got coming up right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
HAMMER: That`s right. The octomom`s attorney and the guy who tattooed a gun on Rihanna.
ANDERSON: We`ve got so many questions for Nadya Suleman`s attorney. How will he answer claims that the octomom cares more about fame than her kids, or she may have exposed her babies to a deadly disease?
HAMMER: Plus, right here, the guy who inked a gun on Rihanna just weeks after she was allegedly beaten up by Chris Brown. Why did Rihanna get this gun tattoo? Tonight, the two headline-making interviews you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Also this -
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Well I can only live on like $60,000 a week.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I feel her pain.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s not (UNINTELLIGIBLE) in suburbia we`re from.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: The divorce that could put all of those nasty and expensive star splits to shame. Why one woman says $50,000 a week is not a big enough settlement for her. Are you kidding me? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
(CAPTION READS: "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch asks judge to let him out of prison early. Woman accused of stalking "CSI" star David Caruso arrested in Mexico.)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(MUSIC)
ANDERSON: Hey, do you remember Willie Aames from the `80s sitcom, "Charles in Charge?" He played Scott Baio`s buddy. Well, sadly, maybe Willie should have put Charles in charge of his finances.
Did you see this? Willie is strapped for cash, so he held a garage sale at his home outside of Kansas City. The 48-year-old "Eight is Enough" and "Charles" star filed for bankruptcy last year and his home is in foreclosure.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson. OK. Well, maybe this couple could front Willie a few bucks. Tonight, the jaw dropping story of a nasty split and the battle over hundreds of millions of dollars.
The husband reportedly blows a couple hundred thousand a week. The wife says she can`t bear to live on less than $50,000 a week. Yes, this divorce money fight could make all the star breakups look like peanuts.
Here is CNN`s Susan Candiotti for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
(MUSIC)
SUSAN CANDIOTTI, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice over): But unlike Abba`s money, things are far from sunny for multimillionaire George Davis and soon-to-be ex-wife Swedish Countess Marie Douglas Davis. He is 66; she is 36. And their front page tabloid divorce seems so other-worldly these days.
His reported estimated worth - about $329 million. The Harper Cross(ph) say ex-United Technology CEO spends about $200,000 a week, barely half of that to keep up his yacht, and more than $7,000 a week each on travel and entertainment. The countess calls her husband controlling.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There was nothing in her name. He owned everything including her engagement ring.
CANDIOTTI: Davis paints her as a ranter.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A woman prone to tirades that could go on for hours.
CANDIOTTI: In court papers, the countess says she needs at least $53,000 a week to make ends meet, only a fourth of what her husband spends. Her expense list includes $4,500 a week in clothing, $1,000 for hair and skincare, $8,000 for travel. Travel? Maybe she needs to check on properties including her $25 million Park Avenue Apartment, and homes in the Hamptons and Stockholm.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I can only live on like, $60,000 a week. I feel their pain.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Not the suburbia we`re from.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think that there are some people in the country that`s a little out of touch with what is going on with the economy.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Yes. That was CNN`s Susan Candiotti for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Now, the couple had signed a post nuptial agreement that guaranteed the countess $43 million in case they split. But that`s like living in poverty for her, I guess. Unbelievable.
The couple goes back before a Connecticut judge in July. Maybe, they`ll work this out before then.
HAMMER: OK. Brooke, I think we`ve got more than 43 million calls into the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines about octomom. And let me tell you, that`s been keeping our "Showbiz on Call" operators octo-busy.
ANDERSON: It sure is. We got a call into "Showbiz on Call," from Sharilyn in New Jersey.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
SHARILYN, CALLER FROM NEW JERSEY: At you know you want to have sympathy for the woman, but when you see her run into Starbuck`s how many times a day and shopping. And my son is 16 months old and I only have one. And I certainly didn`t have time to go to Starbuck`s when he was just home from the hospital. She needs to just stay home with her babies and be a mom. And then everybody would just start to leave her alone.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thanks, Sharilyn. We also heard from Jess calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Ontario, Canada.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
JESS, CALLER FROM ONTARIO CANADA: I do believe Nadya is trying her best. She has learned a lot. And I think the Angels in Waiting were the worst thing for her. I think they recorded everything, took it to the media and tried to ruin her as a mother and trying to ruin her name.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Thank you, Jess. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call" to let us know what you think about this or anything else that`s on your mind.
ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open, 1-888-SBT- BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
And your calls to "Showbiz on Call" are also online. That`s on our homepage, CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.
A.J., we`ve got a huge octomom exclusive coming up.
HAMMER: That`s right, Brooke. And we`ve also got a blockbuster Rihanna exclusive as well, not to be missed, coming up. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with two big headline-making exclusives. The octomom`s attorney right here, facing the tough questions all about the explosive allegations against her like, does the octomom really care more about fame than her kids?
ANDERSON: Also, this SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. We`ve got the guy who inked a gun on Rihanna just weeks after she was allegedly beaten up by her boyfriend Chris Brown. He will tell us why would Rihanna get a gun tattoo?
Plus, the incredible story of how Natasha Richardson`s death wound up saving the life of a little girl. Tonight, the young girl and her doctor in a brand-new interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - here come more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
(CAPTION READS: Tori Spelling`s Mom, Candy, puts Beverly Hills mansion on sale for $150 million. "Daily Variety": ABC working on a new "Ben Hur" miniseries.)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson with some more stories that are making news right now. Rapper T.I. was sentenced today to one year and one day in prison on weapons charges. He was caught in a sting trying to purchase machine guns and silencers just hours before the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta in 2007.
T.I. - his songs "Whatever You Like" and a duet with Rihanna called "Live Your Life" reached a deal with prosecutors. Today, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, said he was very sorry for what he did.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
T.I., RAPPER: Apologies to my family, to the young men, young women that I mentor, and I just hope everyone can learn from my situation. And I hope that I can keep one, at least one, if not a million or more from going down a similar path as mine.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there, Thursday night, at the VH1 "Save the Music Foundation" one splendid evening charity event in L.A. We caught up with John Mayer.
Now, John has really taken to Twitter. Twittering, in case you don`t know, is a site where a lot of people, including a whole bunch of stars, post quick updates about what they`re doing. You can subscribe and follow anyone you want and read their updates. Listen now to why Mayer loves Twittering so much.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOHN MAYER, SINGER: I get to have a thought that stems from my brain and even if you do want to chew it up or whatever, at least, it is an actual thought that I had instead of opening up a magazine and going, "I did what?" Like, you know - I have actually started thinking about maybe going out and doing the things that they said I did, because it would be like double jeopardy. I have been reaching out to my fans since the beginning of my career. It is just a different technology.
You know, a lot of artists have been holdouts for a while. And they go, "I don`t want my music on a cell phone." I will put my music on a shoe if that`s where people want to hear their music. I make music. I am not responsible for how people want to get it.
You know, I am not an audiophile. I want people wherever they can get it. And if people want to communicate with me and it`s not a message board anymore, not an in-store, because I wouldn`t do an in-store right now.
Then you know what? You have a choice. You can either follow me on Twitter or not follow me. But the people who follow me - they deserve something stupid to read every once in a while.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Hey, nothing wrong with reading something stupid every once in a while.
All right. Now the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here is what is coming up on the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Two big SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusives. Tonight, the octomom`s attorney is here to face the blockbuster allegations against his client.
And the other SHOWBIZ TONIGHT headline-making exclusive - the guy who tattooed a gun on Rihanna just weeks after she was allegedly beaten up by her boyfriend Chris Brown right here.
Plus, the incredible story of how Natasha Richardson`s death wound up saving the life of a little girl. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
(CAPTION READS: New study: People ages 45-54 watch more than 5 1/2 hours of live TV daily. Nintendo`s WII will pass sales of 50M this month, a game console record.)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SULEMAN: Angels in Waiting is alleging that they spent 108 hours in the nursery. But you were only there for eight. Honestly, that`s a joke. All of that is beyond catastrophied(ph).
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, two big SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusives.
Tonight, one-on-one with the attorney for the octomom. What will he reveal about all those shocking claims about his client?
Also this SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive - the guy who tattooed a gun on Rihanna just weeks after she was allegedly beaten up by Chris Brown. Why did Rihanna get inked up with a gun? Tonight, the two headline-making interviews you`ll see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
HAMMER: Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."
TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive - we are going one-on-one with the attorney for the octuplet mom, Nadya Suleman.
HAMMER: That`s right, Brooke. Tonight, it is the exclusive interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Joining me tonight is Nadya Suleman`s attorney, Jeff Czech. Jeff, welcome to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Right now, I want to bring everybody up to speed on the very latest developments.
Tonight, two more babies are home, just released from the hospital. Babies Makai Angel and Jeremiah Angel join the growing brood at home. So now, six of the octuplets are now home, two more remain in the hospital.
And this caps another wild week in the saga of the octuplet mother that included her firing the nurses from Angels in Waiting, brought in to provide free around-the-clock care for all of Suleman`s 14 kids.
Again, joining me tonight in Hollywood for a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Suleman`s attorney, Jeff Czech. I do appreciate you being here, Jeff.
JEFF CZECH, NADYA SULEMAN`S ATTORNEY: Hello, A.J.
HAMMER: And first, everybody wants to know how is Nadya doing now that six of her eight babies are finally home?
CZECH: Oh, she is doing great. She can`t wait for the final two to come home. She is very excited. She is happy that this chapter with Angels in Waiting is past her. It`s closed, and she is ready to keep moving.
HAMMER: I want to ask you about Angels in Waiting and that whole saga, Jeff. Because after Nadya fired the nurses from that group earlier this week, a lot of people were saying, what was she possibly thinking? What, with the free care and all that was being provided? Can you say with absolute certainty this new team, that Nadya is now paying for herself is as qualified as Angels in Waiting?
CZECH: Absolutely. First of all, Kaiser-Permanente nurses and staff, including the doctor who actually performed the births are very clear that nurses are not even required. The nurses were helpful at the time they were there.
But Nadya is ready to move on. She has very well-trained nannies, trained by Kaiser. And she has at least six of them there right now. And they`re doing a great job for her. They`re helping her out really well.
HAMMER: I think a lot of people will be pleased to hear that. As you well know, Jeff, there have been explosive claims this week from both Angels in Waiting and Nadya, including the claim from the nurses that Nadya spent very little time with the babies.
Now, Nadya said that was nonsense. I want you to take a look at what the nurses` attorney, Gloria Allred, told me at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ALLRED: They were keeping the documentation. I don`t think Nadya was - because they are registered nurses. They have charts. They have written down who fed the babies and when - when mom came in. This is what they do as registered nurses.
And they kept careful track of the time she was in the nursery. And unfortunately, the eight hours of the more than 100 hours that they were there from March 17 to March 22nd, you know, she was rarely there except to feed the babies when the cameras were rolling.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. So Jeff, I want to get your take on this, because as far as the nurses documenting how much time she spent with the babies, they are professional nurses. Recordkeeping is a big part of what they do. Do you - does Nadya think they made this up?
CZECH: Yes she does. They did make it up. Let me tell you, A.J., Nadya was never, never comfortable with the nurses at AIW. She, she accepted their help, but she never became comfortable. It appears that AIW, at all times, was seemingly working behind her back, trying to bring her down, trying to make sure that Nadya would fail.
And who knows what their ultimate goal was? Perhaps making certain that the babies would be adopted out. But, I can tell you without any uncertainty that their goal is not to help Nadya succeed.
HAMMER: You absolutely believe that?
CZECH: Absolutely. Absolutely. I have told others it`s sort of like bringing in the Trojan rocking horse, if you will, pushing it into the nursery. And there are the nurses and they`re out to get Nadya. And that`s how it turned out. And nobody in the household was comfortable with them in the house.
HAMMER: Well, I want to get into a claim that was made this week by the nurses, that two of the nannies Nadya hired tested positive for TB and they shouldn`t have been in Nadya`s home at all. Here is what Gloria Allred told me about that.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ALLRED: Any nannies who might have tested positive, whether or not subsequently their chest x-rays were clear, they shouldn`t have been in the home anywhere near those babies. Anywhere near the other six children. Anywhere near the nurses, the nannies, the parents, grandparents, anybody else in that home. Because tuberculosis, A.J., is airborne. And that is not a risk that anybody should be taking.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So Jeff, let me ask you. Are the two nannies who did test positive for TB, but were cleared as Gloria pointed out - are they still taking care of the babies?
CZECH: The nurses are all cleared. See, this is just another example of what the nurses are doing behind the scenes. They`re essentially creating rumors to hurt Nadya. These nurses were all tested for TB. They were tested for other things. They were all trained.
And what happened is that, in the past, perhaps these nurses had a vaccination for TB and that showed up.
HAMMER: Sure.
CZECH: And the doctor told Nadya that unless there is a chest x-ray that proves TB, they don`t have it.
HAMMER: OK. But to be clear, Jeff, those two nurses who were in question here, the ones that Gloria seemed concerned about - are they working with Nadya and the babies?
CZECH: No. They are not.
HAMMER: All right. Let me ask you something that I think a lot of people have been wondering, why is Nadya continuing to do these almost daily online video blogs about her life for "Radar Online." Is she just being paid so much money that she just can`t not do them?
CZECH: Well, she does have an arrangement with "Radar Online," of course. She has been ridiculed greatly for accepting public assistance. She obviously is a mother of 14 and she does need some income. And they are paying her some money.
I am presently working with Nadya to make some arrangements so that she can hopefully support her large family in the future.
HAMMER: Because here`s what I don`t understand. I certainly understand the idea that she needs to make money. I think everybody supports the fact that she can earn this money on her own however she does it.
But down to the idea of continuing to do these videos - do you think, Jeff, she understands that by doing them, she just perpetuates and really fuels this chaos that surrounds her life which I think everybody can agree, cannot be good for these babies and her security and the security of the babies?
CZECH: Well, Nadya, I think, understands very well that she has to do certain things in the interim in order to raise some money for her infants, for her babies, for her family. She understands the pitfalls of such arrangements. Clearly, she does.
And it is sort of like trying to pick the lesser of two evils for her. So she is doing the best she can.
HAMMER: If there was an alternative to making money other than doing the videos, do you think or could you say here tonight that she would discontinue doing these videos because a lot of people have speculated she really does enjoy all the attention she is getting?
CZECH: No, she does not enjoy all the attention she is getting. She is very tired at the end of the day. And if "Radar" comes knocking on the door, she would prefer not to do it. This is really a choice that she is making right now out of necessity. Certainly, if there are other options, and there - excuse me, very well might be other options, she`ll look at those. She is looking at those, and she will accept those.
HAMMER: All right. Jeff, well, we appreciate you being here tonight. Sounds like you are confident that people who are concerned for these babies have nothing to worry about.
CZECH: Thank you.
HAMMER: Jeff Czech, attorney for Nadya Suleman, thanks very much.
CZECH: Thank you, A.J.
HAMMER: And for a complete coverage of all of the octuplet mom drama, you can head to our Web site, CNN.com/ShowbizTonight
So we have been asking you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. It is this - "Two More Babies Home: Is the octuplet mom turning it around?" What do you think? CNN.com/ShowbizTonight, or you can E-mail showbiztonight@cnn.com.
Well, Brooke, it seems like the octo-drama never stops. And neither do the fired-up phone calls that we`ve been getting into "Showbiz on Call" about the octomom.
The "Showbiz on Call" switchboard operators working, as you see, at warp speed, so fast in fact they`ve transported back in time. Everything is black and white, Brooke.
ANDERSON: They`re such hard workers - yes. And we got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Nikki who says that we all need to give the octomom a break.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
NIKKI, CALLER: I am calling because all of the comments about the octomom shopping and spending money. So what? It`s her money. I have three kids. Some days I just have to get out of the house and go shopping and clear my head. What is the big deal?
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you for that, Nikki. We also heard from Sharon calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Georgia.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
SHARON, CALLER FROM GEORGIA: I seriously think that she needs some help, although I don`t think the kids should be taken from her. I think she needs some psychological help. And somebody needs to evaluate the situation that is going on, because it looks to me like she is wanting a lot of attention. And I just hope she gets the help she needs.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Sharon. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call," and let us know what you think of the octomom or anything else.

ANDERSON: Is Britney Spears going to crack the whip on her "Circus" tour? She might now after two roadies were arrested for allegedly getting into a drunken brawl. It all went down in Pittsburgh where the two men who worked for a company working with Britney`s tour got into a fight and then they turned on the cops when they arrived.
In a statement on her Web site, Britney says the men have been let go. And that sort of behavior is not tolerated on her tour.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And we now have a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. Tonight, Rihanna`s gun or should we say the gun she had tattooed on her. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you the inside story of why Rihanna decided to get a gun tattooed on her this just weeks after Chris Brown allegedly beat her up. Now, in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, Rihanna`s tattoo artist is here to tell us how all this happened.
Joining me from New York is Rihanna`s tattoo artist who goes by the name Bang-Bang. Bang-Bang, good to see you.
BANG-BANG, RIHANNA`S TATTOO ARTIST: Good to see you, Brooke. How are you?
ANDERSON: I`m doing great, thank you. Hey, I want to ask you. You know, with everything going on in Rihanna`s life in the last month, a lot of people have been worried about her. Bang-Bang, you just spent some time with her in Los Angeles. How is she doing?
BANG-BANG: She is doing great. She is excellent. I think she is better than she has ever been. I have known her a couple years now. I think she is happy as can be.
ANDERSON: Yes, you have known her for a couple years. You`ve been working with her with the tattoos. You added stars to the tattoo on the back of her neck. You did a tattoo on her finger, a few others. So in the case of this gun tattoo, you flew out to L.A. when Rihanna called you. What did she say when she called you? How did this all come about?
BANG-BANG: It started of as a birthday present for one of her friends. He really wanted a tattoo. And she loves getting tattooed by me. So she talked about me for a while, flew me to L.A. to tattoo him. And I wound up tattooing her the same day.
ANDERSON: So it was a spontaneous decision on Rihanna`s part?
BANG-BANG: Maybe a spontaneous to get the tattoo, but not the actual one. We have been toying with the idea for about a year to do the gun. She had a little necklace that I loved. And I said, "Let`s put a tattoo of the gun on you." And she liked the idea and we didn`t wind up doing it until last week.
ANDERSON: OK. So you had kind of initiated this. What did she say to you when she said, "All right. Now let`s do the gun. I want that"? What did she say?
BANG-BANG: To quote her, she said, "That`s hot."
ANDERSON: Say that again, I`m sorry. I didn`t hear you. Someone else was talking to me.
BANG-BANG: To quote her, her exact words were "That`s hot."
ANDERSON: That`s hot?
BANG-BANG: In her Barbados accent.
ANDERSON: Oh, that`s funny. As in Paris Hilton, that`s hot, huh? The question everybody has been asking, Bang-Bang, why a gun? Did Rihanna come up, you know, with the, the exact design, or did you? How did that come about?
BANG-BANG: No, I drew it and I put it on her. And she loved it. As far as why it`s a gun. a lot of people have been asking me, "Do you think it has something to do with her domestic violence issues?" And I would say absolutely not.
If someone asked me what a gun means to me, maybe protection and power. It`s very empowering. And she is very empowered right now.
ANDERSON: So did she bring up the domestic violence issues at all or indicate that she wanted to send some sort of message with this gun tattoo?
BANG-BANG: No. We didn`t talk about that at all. We are good friends. And we hung out just the way friends do, you know. We didn`t really talk about anything the news brings up.
ANDERSON: So do you think people are maybe blowing this whole thing out of proportion that she got a gun tattooed on her body? You know, do you think that people just want something to talk about here?
BANG-BANG: I think people want info on her. I think a lot of people care about her and everybody wants to know that she is doing well. And I`m here to say she is doing, very, very well. And I just think people are interested in what is going on in her life.
ANDERSON: It`s good to hear she is doing well. Well, you tried different spots on her body initially. Why did she decide to have it tattooed under her armpit? Why there and not the shoulders where you wanted it initially?
BANG-BANG: We loved it on the shoulders. Everybody in the room loved it - her, her best friend and I and her personal assistant. We all loved the tattoo on her shoulders. The only issue, couple of them felt maybe it was a little too visible.
And after a couple minutes of living with it, I kind of decided it took a little bit away from her face. And she agreed. So we put it in a little more discreet area where it`s still pretty cool where it`s at.
ANDERSON: All right. Bang-bang, tattoo artist for Rihanna, we appreciate your time. Thanks so much. Take care.
BANG-BANG: Thank you very much. Take care, Brooke.
HAMMER: It`s time now for "Making It Work." This is where we reveal the secrets of how stars make their relationships work in Hollywood and beyond. And tonight, it is super rock star couple Gavin Rossdale and wife Gwen Stefani.
Gavin and Gwen are balancing two high-profile careers and they`re raising two sons. They have Kingston and Zuma. And as you can imagine, it is tough protecting their kids from the paparazzi. But Gavin says they are making it work while still managing to be pretty cool parents.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
GAVIN ROSSDALE, MUSICIAN: You either live your life or you live your life because of what is surrounding you. So I think that it`s crazy enough for our kids so I think we try to live as normally as possible.
And plus, you see those guys every day, most of them. So they are sort of like part of our furniture now, a little bit. And we don`t do anything contentious enough to get the aggressive guys. So I don`t want them to see me shouting at strangers. They`d think their dad`s nuts.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: And it was dad`s night out for Gavin as he joins John Mayer, rapper Eve and Jordin Sparks for a very worthy cause in Los Angeles. They all took the stage for a concert to benefit VH1`s "Save the Music Foundation." The foundation raises money to keep much-needed music programs in school.
ANDERSON: Straight ahead, Natasha Richardson`s gift. It is the stunning connection between Natasha`s sudden death and the little girl who may be alive right now because of that tragedy.
We`ve got the interview with the brave 7-year-old and her doctor that you don`t want to miss, next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
(CAPTION READS: Martina McBride is spokesperson for new national teen dating abuse helpline program. McBride and "My Time to Shine" to bring attention to domestic violence against teen girls. Jennifer Aniston tops "Details" magazine list of Hollywood`s sexiest women.)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tonight, the remarkable story of how Natasha Richardson`s death may have saved a little girl`s life and the revealing interview with that girl and her doctor.
Richardson died March 18th after suffering a severe head injury during a skiing accident. As the world learned of the horrific details of her accident, 7-year-old Morgan McCracken suffered a similar injury after getting hit in the head playing baseball in her backyard.
Just like Natasha, Morgan seemed to be OK after the accident. But two days later, she had a massive headache. Her parents, who had been following the Richardson story on CNN, rushed to the hospital and Morgan had a life-saving surgery. This morning, for the very first time, Morgan and the doctor who saved her life, spoke with "Good Morning America."
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DIANE SAWYER, HOST, "GOOD MORNING AMERICA": What is the difference between Morgan who had the two days of being herself and then someone for whom only hours are hit?
DR. ALAN COHEN, CHIEF OF PEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY, RAINBOW BABIES AND CHILDREN`S HOSPITAL: Well, it depends on the type of blood vessel that is torn. In Natasha`s case, it was probably an artery. In Morgan`s case, it was a vein. Morgan tore the superior sagittal sinus, which is a big vein that drains the brain. And that bleeding can be slower and so the tempo of the deterioration can vary.
SAWYER: So, Morgan, how are you this morning, and how is your brain?
MORGAN MCCRACKEN, RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HEAD INJURY: Good.
SAWYER: Did it hurt pretty bad?
MCCRACKEN: Yes.
SAWYER: Well, it`s so wonderful to know that you`re feeling better, that you`re feeling good. Don`t you like Dr. Cohen?
MCCRACKEN: Yes.
SAWYER: You want to wave at him and say hi?
MCCRACKEN: Hi.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: It is an amazing story and Natasha Richardson may save other lives. Her family donated her organs after her death.
HAMMER: So cute. All right. Thursday, we asked to you vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here`s what we asked - "Valerie Bertinelli: Does her 49-pound weight loss inspire you?" 64 percent said yes; 36 no.
