Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, Madonna`s nanny tells all.
HAMMER: Yes. Tonight, we`ve got the secrets of what really goes on behind closed doors in Madonna`s house. They are spilling out all over the place and tonight, it`s all caught on tape.
Madonna`s former long-time nanny is telling all in a television interview that is absolutely extraordinary. What is life really like for Madonna when the spotlight is off? What does Madonna really think about her attempted adoption of the little girl in Malawi being rejected?
Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the must-see interview that is making big news right now.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER (voice-over): You might think you know Madonna. Well, now, for the very first time ever, we`re getting behind-the-scenes information about what Madonna is like as a mom, from none other than her ex-nanny.
ANGELA JACOBSEN, MADONNA`S FORMER NANNY: I was on call 24 hours a day. All day - well, I was working five days a week.
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, according to this nanny, Madonna rules her household with an iron fist. That means no McDonald`s, no newspapers, no TV, and only French speakers need apply.
KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": She`s so disciplined with her body, with her career and obviously with her kids. I don`t think anyone is surprised that Madonna has a lot of rules in her house.
HAMMER: Twenty-nine-year-old Angela Jacobsen was the Nanny for little David Banda, the 3-year-old boy Madonna adopted from Malawi.
JACOBSEN: Like any (INAUDIBLE) routines and values and rules that you follow.
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you Jacobsen`s interview with an Australian TV show. The ex-nanny was cited the strict rules Madonna has for her kids, David, 12-year-old Lourdes and 8-year-old Rocco. Madonna`s song, "Candy Shop," is the closest her kids will ever get to candy because the nanny says Madonna demands that everyone eat healthy.
JACOBSEN: We all followed the same diet.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What does that consist of?
JACOBSEN: It`s a macrobiotic diet. Also a kosher due to the Kabbalah. Yes, basically limited sugar and salt.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: And Madonna`s kids can forget about watching VH1 to see mom`s videos because Jacobsen says that TVs are a big no-no in Madonna`s house.
JACOBSEN: There wasn`t any television in the house.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No television unit itself?
JACOBSEN: No.
HAMMER: And you won`t believe why Jacobsen says she no longer works for Madonna.
JACOBSEN: You go to French school. Speaks French.
HAMMER: Jacobsen says Madonna was having 3-year-old David, along with the other kids learn to speak French.
JACOBSEN: The older children have a French nanny already. So David was just beginning to learn and will go to a full-time French school. And I`m not able to help with homework and things like that.
HAMMER: When Jacobsen left her job last month, the gossip pages made it seem like Madonna had fired her in a tyrannical rage. Jacobsen added fuel to those rumors with some colorful Facebook posts in which she said, quote, "Not putting up with this (EXPLETIVE DELETED) anymore. Standing up for my rights regardless of consequence." Ouch. That`s not a good way to get a reference letter.
JACOBSEN: I wasn`t actually referring to Madonna.
HAMMER: But now, Jacobsen has nothing but praise for Madonna.
JACOBSEN: Fantastic mother. Loving, caring.
Could that have something to do with the fact that she heard from her ex-boss after the nasty Facebook post?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE ANCHOR: Did Madonna call you about that?
JACOBSEN: I`ve been reminded about my confidentiality agreement.
HAMMER: Which is another rule in the Madonna household - don`t cross her.
SERAFIN: Perhaps that had something to do with her change in tone.
HAMMER: The ex-nanny also says she hopes Madonna succeeds in her quest to adopt another young child from Malawi. Madonna is appealing a court decision that barred her adoption of this 3-year-old girl.
JACOBSEN: She would have been well-looked after in a loving family and so it`s a shame. And it would be nice for David to have a sister from Malawi.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE ANCHOR: Do you think she`ll try and adopt again? Is she a determined woman?
JACOBSEN: Determined, yes. So I guess, yes.
HAMMER: And if Madonna does succeed in adopting this girl, it appears she will join a household where Madonna knows best.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
Well, it`s going to be a while before we know when or if Madonna is able to add to her household. The Malawian court that blocked her latest adoption attempt of 3-year-old girl has not yet set a date for her appeal.
ANDERSON: Tonight, Mel Gibson`s shocking divorce. Gibson`s wife has filed for divorce. And Mel, a devout Catholic, reportedly dropped the bombshell news to friends at church on Easter Sunday.
They`ve been married almost 28 years, a lifetime in Hollywood, have seven children together. But tonight, is Mel bracing for what could be a huge battle over his reported nearly $1 billion fortune? Could Mel`s divorce become the priciest ever in Hollywood history?
With me now in New York tonight, Carolina Bermudez, who is the senior editor for "In Touch Weekly." Here in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra."
Now, Carolina, Carlos, as far as we know, there`s no prenuptial agreement. And California is a 50/50 divorce state. So Robyn Gibson could walk away with a mind-boggling $400 million to $500 million. Carolina, is that - yes, totally fair for sticking by Mel through thick and thin?
CAROLINA BERMUDEZ, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": It`s totally fair. I mean, this woman has been married to Mel Gibson throughout 28 years. She`s had to endorse several different things - him coming to the top of the spotlight, all of these big blockbuster movies, you know, the alleged affairs and the rumors of the womanizing and also the battle with alcohol.
You know, I mean, she has really shown that she has been the rock of this family. And if there`s no prenuptial agreement, why not? She deserves to get half.
ANDERSON: Yes, and in my opinion, there would not be enough money in the world to make up for that act he pulled back in 2006. Carlos, what do you think? Does she deserve this enormous amount of money?
CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Yes, she does. I mean, you know, she was with him through every hardship, every big moment in his career. She was, you know, there with him, you know, when he had the troubles in his career. She`s stuck with him for 28 years, which you deserve a medal for in Hollywood if you do that.
So this is not like one of those things where she was married to him for three or four years and now wants, you know, half of everything he ever made. He got what he got and she was there every step of the way.
ANDERSON: Yes, and the mother to his children, really makes family a priority. And there`s also another huge factor in this divorce battle. Mel is a devout Catholic. He even spent $5 million to build his own church.
Carolina, do you think he should also brace for maybe some major backlash from some Catholics over his divorce.
BERMUDEZ: Most definitely. He`s been very passionate about his faith. He`s been very vocal about Catholicism and how it rules his family and how it has been one of the foundations for his family.
And so with that being said, divorce is frowned upon within the Catholic Church. So he should be ready for some criticism because it`s definitely going to be coming at him.
ANDERSON: Yes, and maybe prepare himself for that. Well, one of the ugliest public divorce battles we know was Heather Mills and Paul McCartney`s split last year. Now, Heather ended up with nearly $50 million, but it was only after going through a wild media blitz to plead her case. And you know, it`s been a while. So let`s roll out our favorite sound bite of all times.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY`S EX-WIFE: I`ve had worse press than a pedophile or a murderer.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: I`m sorry. We can never play that enough. Carlos, do you see Mel`s divorce as getting as ugly maybe with Robyn hitting the talk shows circuit like Heather did, maybe even telling all about Mel`s past drinking and other secrets?
DIAZ: No.
ANDERSON: You`re nodding your head no. I agree with you.
DIAZ: I`ll tell you why - because it`s apples to oranges, OK? Linda McCartney was married to Paul McCartney for, you know, years and years and years, and she passed away. And then Heather Mills came in. Heather Mills had to convince everyone that she was due this money that she was asking for and no one was buying it.
People agree that Robyn was there for 28 years, helped raise seven kids, and so - and another thing, too, what can any talk show offer her that is going to be more than $400 million to $500 million? You know what -
ANDERSON: Yes, why even bother. And she has always shied away from the spotlight. And you know, we did some digging on Hollywood`s priciest divorces. Take a look at this.
Madonna`s payout to Guy Ritchie could add up to $92 million. Steven Spielberg`s divorce from Amy Irving cost him $400 million. Neil Diamond`s split from his wife cost $150 million. Michael Jordan`s divorce cost him $168 million. And pardon me - Steven Spielberg`s actually was $100 million.
Carolina, is there no doubt though that Mel will be moving to the head of the class here?
BERMUDEZ: Oh, yes. This is one time when you don`t want to be better than Michael Jordan. I mean, Mel Gibson is going to take the cake here with that.
And you know what? "In Touch Weekly" - we see celebrities make-ups and breakups all the time. But this one is definitely a surprise. And it could possibly be the costliest divorce in Hollywood history. We have to stay tuned and see what happens.
ANDERSON: I know, nearly $500 million possibly. We shall see. Carolina Bermudez, Carlos Diaz, thank you so much.
And now, we want to hear from you. It is our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Mel Gibson`s Divorce: Should his wife get half his fortune?" Vote CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. E-mail us - the address, showbiztonight@CNN.com.
Hey, A.J., I cannot believe this fight between Sarah Palin and her daughter`s former fiance is still going on.
HAMMER: Yes, it`s pretty nuts to me, Brooke. Well, tonight, there is a brand-new attack by Sarah on Levi Johnston. Why Sarah is now saying, "Over my dead body." We`ve got that coming up.
ANDERSON: There`s also, a brand-new attack on Miley Cyrus by Jamie Foxx. Why Jamie is making fun about the way that Miley looks. And get this, why he`s telling Miley to make a sex tape. Jamie, what gives?
HAMMER: Also, Lindsay is looking for love online. We`ve got the brand-new really funny new video of Lindsay making fun of herself.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: Hi, my name is Lindsay and I`m searching for love. I`m recently single, I think, and I`m looking for someone who I can spend the rest of my life with, or at least the rest of my probation with.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN. Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: Shawn Johnson granted 3-year restraining order against alleged stalker. Austrian woman in custody after allegedly sending "CSI`s" David Caruso a death threat.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: We welcome you back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson.
Tonight, Ashton Kutcher is taking aim at CNN. Here`s the deal. Ashton thinks it`s totally wild that CNN only has a few more people following its Twitter page than his. Twitter is a red-hot Web site where people post notes about what they are doing and others follow them. So Ashton is throwing down his challenge.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KUTCHER: If I beat CNN to 1 million followers, I will literally go and ding-dong ditch Ted Turner`s house while I`m in Atlanta. I`m going to be in Atlanta shooting my movie. And while I`m there, if I beat CNN to 1 million followers, I ding-dong ditch Ted Turner`s house and I will video it and post the video of me ding-dong ditching Ted Turner`s house.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: OK. Very funny, Ashton. But a few things for you. First of all, Ted Turner is not really that involved with CNN anymore. He spends a lot of his time on his ranch in Montana. So if you do end up ding-dong ditching him, which is when you ring the bell and then run away, bring a pair of sneakers because there`s a lot of space up there in big sky country.
HAMMER: Ding dong ditch. All right. Ashton and his wife, Demi Moore, certainly well-known for using Twitter, but they`ve also gotten plenty of attention for their big age difference. She is 15 years older than him.
Well, now, along comes a brand-new TV show which celebrates the idea of older women dating younger men. The show is called "The Cougar." It is about a 40-something real estate agent who is looking for love in a group of 20-something guys.
Now, Vivica Fox is hosting "The Cougar." And I asked Vivica why there is so much fascination these days with the idea of an older woman dating a younger man.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
VIVICA FOX, HOST, "THE COUGAR": I think that there are a lot of baby boomers that are now turning 40, that they are in power positions. They`re feeling good. They`re taking great care of themselves. And they are still feeling sexy and single and ready to mingle.
HAMMER (on camera): But things have certainly changed. I mean, maybe you can shed some light on this as the host of "The Cougar." Why has it suddenly become more acceptable? Men have been dating younger women since the beginning of time without any judgment. All of a sudden, people are saying, "Hey, this is OK," when they didn`t for so many years?
FOX: Well, I think that due to the fact that there`s a proven track record, you know, even by Hollywood standards, where, you know, you see couples come and go, married today, gone tomorrow, that you have couples that have lasted for a very long time, such as Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Halle Berry is now dating the very handsome Gabriel. There`s a proven track record where they can find happiness with a man who is younger than them.
HAMMER: Well, Vivica, I know you identify yourself as a cougar, which doesn`t make any sense to me since you`re only 22 years old. But you have said -
FOX: Thank you.
HAMMER: But you`ve said that you are very proud of the fact that you`re a cougar. I`ve also heard, Vivica, that you`re single right now. Are you exclusively looking to date a younger man at this point?
FOX: Not at all. I`m definitely not limiting myself. I mean, it`s just in the past I happened to date guys that are younger than me. But I`m definitely not limiting myself. If I meet a gentleman who is older than me that`s nice to me and we`re compatible, he gets an even chance, too.
HAMMER: Good. I`m glad you`re a cougar that does not discriminate.
FOX: Glad to know that, huh, A.J.
HAMMER: Vivica Fox, great to see you. Great luck with "The Cougar" and keep watching SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We appreciate that.
FOX: I will, A.J. I think you`re cute, darling.
HAMMER: All right. Well, I`ve been taking my notes during this interview here. Got to make sure I know what is going on, Vivica. Take it easy.
FOX: All right, love.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: You didn`t need to see all that. You can catch "The Cougar," Wednesday nights on TV Land.
Let`s move on, shall we? The octomom certainly has not reached cougarness just yet. But I can tell you that our "Showbiz on Call" operators are clawing away at all of the calls we are still getting about the reality show that octomom is reportedly putting together.
ANDERSON: A.J., you`re right. And we`ve got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Evelyn in Missouri who says she would check out an octomom TV show.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
CALLER: I think it would be a pretty cool to give her a chance to explain exactly how her life is and for everybody to see the actual story behind it all. I think it would give her a good air time to let everybody see the true, exactly, mother that she really is.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Thanks a lot for your call, Evelyn. We also heard from Robyn calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Tennessee who also says, yes, she would watch the show.
CALLER: I would watch the octomom reality show. I think it`s great if she`s got the opportunity to do so. Just because she`s a nobody out there, she`s had too many kids - they`re already giving her a hard time. But I say go for it. Absolutely, I would watch it.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you for that, Robyn. Call us at "Showbiz on Call." Let us know what you think about this or anything else that is on your minds. The number - and the "Showbiz on Call" are always open. A.J., give us that number.
HAMMER: I`d like to do that, Brooke. It`s 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899.
All right. Brooke, I want you to think about this. Sarah Palin is a 40-something woman and she is going after a much younger guy, right?
ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. But there is no love between them at all. Palin is on the attack again. Tonight, why Palin is slamming the father of her grandson, the guy who got her daughter pregnant, again. She`s so mad she`s even saying, "Over my dead body." Coming up.
HAMMER: Also, Marlee Matlin`s shocking new claims of physical and sexual abuse. Plus, the big star she says violently abused her.
ANDERSON: And Lindsay Lohan`s looking for love online. You have got to see this really funny new video. Lindsay totally makes fun of herself.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LOHAN: I would describe my personality as creative. I`m a bit of a night owl, a workaholic, a shopaholic, and according to the State of California, an alcoholic.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN. And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: "Lost" star Josh Holloway, wife welcome a baby girl named Java, their first child. Beatles guitarist George Harrison gets posthumous star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SUSAN BOYLE, CONTESTANT, "BRITAIN`S GOT TALENT": My name is Susan Boyle. I`m nearly 48. Presently unemployed but still looking.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Tonight, is Britain`s Susan Boyle the most unlikely reality TV star ever?
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson.
HAMMER: Well, Susan`s story is just tearing up the Internet right now. Everybody on the planet is talking about this woman.
ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. Now, I know that Susan may not fit the profile of a big star. She admits she lives with her cat. She`s never been kissed. But you`ve got to hear her sing. She shocked everybody on "Britain`s Got Talent" including "American Idol" Simon Cowell. Watch her belt out "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables."
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(MUSIC PLAYING)
SIMON COWELL, JUDGE, "BRITAIN`S GOT TALENT": Susan, I knew the minute you walked out ...
BOYLE: Oh, Simon!
COWELL: ... on that stage, that we were going to hear something extraordinary, and I was right.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: How does that not make you smile? Is that not unbelievable, Brooke?
ANDERSON: It is. I love it, A.J. Good for her. And one of the other judges says it`s the biggest surprise he has had on the show. Susan is now the favorite to win it all.
All right. Now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here is what is coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Sarah Palin goes after her own grandson`s father, her daughter`s former fiance again. Why Sarah is so mad she`s even saying, "Over my dead body."
Lindsay Lohan is looking for love online. You have got to see this hysterical new video where Lindsay makes fun of herself.
And Jamie Foxx slams Miley Cyrus. Why he`s even telling her to make a sex tape. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: YouTube is the most popular online video site, Hulu #2, Yahoo #3. Paris Hilton, Sarah Silverman are up for Webby Awards, the Oscars of the Internet.

Plus more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker." TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, two brand-new stories making news right now, including Sarah Palin saying, quote, "Over my dead body."
HAMMER: And wait until you see the outrageous video of Lindsay Lohan making fun of herself. I can tell you she is leaving no stone unturned - the restraining order nightmare, check. Her checkered past including that famous night she passed out in the car? Check, check. Rehab, check, check, and check.
Also new right now, Sarah Palin`s explosive brand-new comment about her daughter`s ex-fiance, Levi Johnston, for blabbing about getting Palin`s teenage daughter pregnant. Sarah has come out swinging again, this time saying hanky-panky in her house, over her dead body.
Joining me tonight in New York, Marvet Britto, who is a celebrity publicist and the founder of the Britto Agency. And from Hollywood tonight is Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra."
Guys, lets begin with this brand-new video of Lindsay Lohan as posted on FunnyOrDie.com. In it, Lindsay parodies the online dating Web site eHarmony.com and she is poking fun of everything, her DUI arrests, her career, even her bank account. Let`s roll that.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LOHAN: Hi, my name is Lindsay and I`m searching for love. I`m recently single, I think, and I`m looking for someone who I can spend the rest of my life with, or at least the rest of my probation with.
A little bit about me. I`m an actress, a singer, an entrepreneur, and I`ve single-handedly kept 90 percent of all gossip Web sites in business.
I would define my personality as creative, a bit of a night owl, a workaholic, a shopaholic and according to the State of California, an alcoholic as well as a threat to all security guards if they work in hotels.
And to put all those rumors to rest, I am not broke. I actually have over $400 in the bank and $20,000 Marlboro Milds, which I`m very proud of. I`m looking for compatible mate who likes a night out on the town as long as he or she is driving, of course, likes ankle monitoring-bracelets and doesn`t have family members quick to issue a restraining orders.
The perfect mate loves long walks on the beach, car chases on the PCH, antiquing and passing out in Cadillac Escalades. So if you think you can handle a little redhead with a little bit of sass, and by that I mean, a redhead that`s crazy - I mean, don`t pretend like you don`t know me. You`ve all read about it.
We`ll crash a few parties, a car or two, but at the end of the day, I promise you I never lose my Google hits, just my underwear. You can reach me at 612679 or you could find me on the cover of "Us Weekly" because I`m so alone.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Carlos Diaz, let me head off to you first. Were you laughing along with this thing or were you cringing a bit?
DIAZ: I loved this. When I saw this thing here at "Extra," I`m like, way to go, Lindsay. I give it two thumbs up. This is the kind of thing that she needs to do. Nothing was out of bounds. She made fun of everything about herself and everything about the situations around her. This is exactly what Lindsay Lohan needs to do to start getting her career back on track.
HAMMER: Carlos, I don`t know if I can agree with you for once. Listen to me here. Listen to me.
DIAZ: OK. OK.
HAMMER: And I`ve got to get Marvet`s take on this. You have Lindsay Lohan currently at the lowest point in her career ...
DIAZ: Sure.
HAMMER: ... for exactly what she`s poking fun of. Let me take this to Marvet.
DIAZ: OK.
HAMMER: You`re a publicist. You handle people crisis all the time. She`s in crisis. Should she really be drawing all of this attention to all of that stuff?
MARVET BRITTO, CELEBRITY PUBLICIST: You know, that`s what we most know Lindsay for. We don`t know her for her movie star films. We know her for her personal antics. So I agree with Carlos in one sense that it`s great that she can poke fun and make light of a very bad situation, which is the state of her career.
But I do think that she really needs to focus on the work. We need to see Lindsay auditioning. We need to hear Lindsay talking about the restoration of her film career. She - her equity as an actress went down the drain with that spoof. I mean she -
DIAZ: That`s what this is. That what this is. This is one big audition. We`re seeing comedic timing here for the first time in a long time from Lindsay Lohan.
BRITTO: Yes, but it`s in the wrong way. It`s in the wrong way.
HAMMER: Yes. Carlos, I mean, do studios, you know, really want to be associated with all of this? Remember, this is being released now just after she`s been in the headlines for weeks about this very public breakup of her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
DIAZ: Right.
HAMMER: She admits she`s a complete mess over that thing. The studios, Carlos, were reluctant to hire her before. So now, they are just being reminded - I hear what you are saying, because I was smiling through it. Oh, isn`t this fun. And then I`m really thinking about it - oh, maybe not such a smart idea.
HAMMER: I agree with you, A.J., but what I`m saying is, I mean, they know it`s there. They know it`s there. So what they have to be reminded of is that Lindsay is actually talented. And this is really, really funny and it really shows amazing comedic timing.
I mean, the way she delivers the lines is great. And it reminds us that Lindsay Lohan is actually a really funny actress. And maybe someone who is casting for a comedy right now would say, "You know what? That`s pretty funny. Let`s get her in and audition for one of these roles."
HAMMER: Marvet, what about that? In the end, you know, Carlos says she`s doing a good job of poking fun of herself in terms of making it look like, "Yes, I can deliver these lines with perfect timing." Yes, she does need to be out auditioning. But do you think this could possibly help her get her career back on track?
BRITTO: I don`t think so. I think if anyone that saw "Mean Girls," which is a film that everyone who saw it loves, we know that Lindsay has the chop. The problem is she`s too focused gallivanting in nightclubs and shopping. And you know, she`s not focused on her career.
So no filmmakers are looking at Lindsay as an asset. They are looking at her as a distraction. So rather than doing online spoofs, she should be somewhere looking for scripts or looking for that next role. So I don`t agree with Carlos in the sense that, you know, someone is going to look at her and say, "Wow, Lindsay is great."
HAMMER: All right. Carlos, very quick prediction - just a yes or no. I`m going to write and we`re going to reexamine this in a couple of weeks. Will this help her career?
DIAZ: Yes.
HAMMER: Ok. Got you down, Carlos Diaz.
DIAZ: Britney Spears.
HAMMER: Let us now move on to Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin is now coming out swinging again. It`s a brand-new slam against Levi Johnston. Of course, Levi is the 18-year-old father of her teenage daughter`s baby if you followed that.
He claimed on the "Tyra Banks Show" that Sarah Palin knew that he and Bristol were having sex in Sarah Palin`s house. And then, in an interview on the "CBS Early Show," he was asked to clarify his claim that he actually lived for a time in the Palin household. Here`s what he said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LEVI JOHNSTON, BRISTOL PALIN`S EX-BOYFRIEND: They said I didn`t live there. I stayed there. I was like, OK. Whatever you want to call it. I had my stuff there. So if you want to call it staying there, that`s fine.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: So they are lying?
JOHNSTON: Yes.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. So he says they`re lying. Now, Palin was asked about that at a news conference. Here`s what Palin said, "I know the truth about my family. I know details whether Levi Johnston was allowed to live with my teenage daughter or not. By the way it would be over my dead body that a kid would live with my teenage daughter."
Carlos, I don`t know about you. I`m thinking that Sarah Palin should take the high road with this whole situation and stop talking about this whole mess even if she`s asked about it.
DIAZ: Yes. You know what? I mean, she claims to be an expert about the media. She blames a lot of things on the media. But if you know the media so well, don`t you know that if you keep commenting, we`ll keep talking about it. A.J., you know this. You were in the morning meeting. If she didn`t comment on this, we wouldn`t be talking about it right now.
HAMMER: Clearly.
DIAZ: So you know, if she`s quiet about it, it goes away.
HAMMER: Well, Levi is clearly not backing down from his claim that he lived or stayed - or whatever the heck you want to call it - in the Palin household.
What do you think, Marvet? Palin, perhaps, should be worried that people might actually believe Levi more than her? Because he can keep going with this.
BRITTO: He can keep going with it. And Sarah Palin has such a bright political future ahead of her. I think she really needs to focus on being the governor and not get caught in the matrix of "staying" and "living." Because there`s a fine line between that. And she has no idea what her daughter was doing. You know, she really shouldn`t be caught in between the love antics of her teenage daughter and she should really focus on being the governor of Alaska.
HAMMER: May I just point out in the end here, over her dead body, they would live together. Apparently, not over her dead body that they would have sex.
BRITTO: Absolutely.
HAMMER: Just saying. Marvet Britto, Carlos Diaz, thanks, guys.
ANDERSON: Hey, A.J., you know, the octomom`s set of octuplets is finally complete.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. I imagine she`s got to be so excited. She certainly has gone through a lot to get them all home.
ANDERSON: She has. And excited, maybe, but she`s got to be feeling the pressure now. Can the octomom really handle 14 children? We will take you inside the octohome and get you octomom`s latest reaction.
HAMMER: Also, coming up, Jamie Foxx takes a bite out of Miley Cyrus. Did he really say that Miley needed a gum implant? Jamie, I think, just dug himself a huge foxhole. You`ve got to hear his unbelievable Miley rant.
ANDERSON: And Marlee Matlin`s shocking confessions. The Academy Award winner tells all about sex, drugs and her violent relationship with actor William Hurt. The details will shock you. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: HBO Films to produce a film about the Obamas, Clintons, McCains and Palins. Renewal of Patrick Swayze`s A & E show "The Beast" in doubt.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Here`s Bo. Tonight, the very first video of Bo, President Obama`s Portuguese water dog. The Obamas brought him out to play on the south lawn at the White House today. And the president says 6-month-old Bo has star quality and that`s definitely an important thing when you`re the first dog.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
Tonight, Jamie Foxx fires off in a mean-spirited radio rant against teen sensation Miley Cyrus. And the octofamily is complete as the eighth baby comes home. They are two brand-new stories making big news right now.
Tonight, you`ve got to hear Jamie`s vile comments about "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. Does Jamie need to have his mouth washed out with soap?
Also, new right now, the octomom`s eighth baby comes home. It`s a happy time for the mother of 14. But how is she actually raising all those kids? We`ve got the latest news from inside her home.
Joining me tonight in New York, Carolina Bermudez, who is the senior editor for "In Touch Weekly." Also tonight in New York, April Woodard, who is a senior correspondent for "Inside Edition."
Carolina, April, great to see you both. And first, you`ve really got to hear this truly outrageous radio rant Jamie Foxx gave on a serious radio show, the "Foxx Hole." He and a group of fellow hosts really ripped on 16- year-old Miley Cyrus.
Foxx said about the teen idol, quote, "Is she the one with all of the gums? She has got to get a gum transplant."
OK. And if you thought that was over-the-top, listen to the rest of this rant.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
JAMIE FOXX, ACTOR: Make a sex tape and grow up. Get like Britney Spears and get some heroine. Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing some lesbian and get some crack in your pipe.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So we can start respecting you as an artist.
FOXX: Get chlamydia on a bicycle seat.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Carolina, is it just me or did Jamie Foxx step over the line here in a big bad way?
BERMUDEZ: No, Brooke, it`s not just you. Shame, shame on Jamie Foxx. Who does he think he is? You know what? If you`re going to make fun of somebody, at least get it right. A gum transplant? I mean this is just - we`re talking about a 16-year-old girl.
He has a daughter himself. It`s shocking to me that he would go this low in his attempt for comedy. And you know what? It wasn`t even funny. It`s not even that good material. So, yes, he definitely stepped over the line this time.
ANDERSON: I agree. I was cringing. It was despicable. And speaking of him having a daughter himself, that makes it all the more incredible, because he was making fun brutally of a 16-year-old girl and he has a teenage daughter around the same age.
April, doesn`t that just make this whole radio rant even more appalling?
APRIL WOODARD, SENIOR CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": It really does make it appalling, I mean, the fact that he has a daughter the same age as Miley Cyrus, basically. But you have to remember that he`s a comedian and I guess he thought that this was funny.
The problem is, he needs to pick on somebody his own size, and definitely not a 16-year-old girl like Miley Cyrus.
ANDERSON: Yes. And I happen to like Jamie Foxx. Normally, I do think that he is very funny. But this was just inappropriate and disrespectful. It was horrible. It`s not just derogatory to Miley Cyrus, it`s downright cruel to several young celebrities - Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, who have gone through a really rough time.
Carolina, how can Jamie Foxx possibly think this is funny? And granted, they were feeding off of one another, but how can he think it`s funny?
BERMUDEZ: There`s no excuse, Brooke. And you know, I agree with you. I was a big fan of Jamie Foxx. He`s a renaissance artist. You know, he can act. He can sing. He is a comedian. But this is just so low class. And I`m really surprised that Jamie went there. Because normally, he is very smart. He is really funny. So I think he`s going to have to do some damage control for this one.
ANDERSON: Absolutely. You know, Miley Cyrus didn`t deserve this. But you know what she does deserve? An apology from Jamie Foxx. So hopefully, he will give her one.
OK. Also new right now, the octomom`s eighth baby, Jonah, is home today. So the octopod is complete. Jonah`s been in the hospital for two months, weighs about four pounds, so he`s still pretty fragile. And when he gets bigger, he will have to go in for surgery on his cleft lip.
April, taking care of just Jonah alone would be an all-day job. How will she possibly do this?
WOODARD: Well, definitely help. And people will have to volunteer and help her out. You know, she did fire these women that were helping her before and I understand that she has a new group in helping some nurses.
But she`s going to have to get some help. She`s going to get a lot of sleep. And you know what? She`s going to have to turn away from those cameras.
ANDERSON: Well, and speaking of getting a lot of sleep, she says that she`s only getting three or four hours of sleep a night, which is understandable with all of those children.
But she says she doesn`t feel overwhelmed. She tells "Radar Online," quote, "They`re all extremely healthy. The energy is so positive at home."
Now, the octomom went on to say that since she fired the nonprofit nurses, Angels in Waiting, there`s been nothing but joy and happiness in her home.
Carolina, could it be that the drama is finally over for the octomom and her 14 kids?
BERMUDEZ: Oh, no, this woman is delusional. I`m sorry. My sister has a newborn. She just had a baby two weeks ago. She has a son that is 4 years old and she`s going to out of her brain right now.
Could you imagine having 14 kids there and zero help and you think that this is all peaceful and tranquil? No way. She`s keeping her mouth shut. She`s a very calculating woman. And I think she`s being quiet because she`s got a deal in the works.
ANDERSON: You think she`s got a deal in the works.
BERMUDEZ: Oh, yes.
ANDERSON: Well, you know, like you say, you know, we haven`t heard much from her lately. No exclusive video diaries with "Radar Online," no paparazzi video from outside her home. So April, what gives here?
WOODARD: Well, I think if there are some cameras that are still rolling in her house. We`re just not seeing them. So I just think that, you know, if she really, really cares about these kids, she`s going to have to turn her back on, you know, all of the publicity and turn her back on trying to promote her family and, quote, "reality shows." And she really needs to spend some time taking care of herself and, most importantly, taking care of her kids.
ANDERSON: Taking care of those children. That should be the priority. Carolina Bermudez, April Woodard, we`ll leave it there. Thanks.
HAMMER: Well, tonight, we`ve got Marlee Matlin`s shocking confessions. For the very first time, Oscar winner Marlee Matlin is revealing startling abuse claims against actor William Hurt.
In her brand-new book called "I`ll Scream Later," Matlin claims that she was molested and physically abused as a child. And she says that she suffered through drug-induced violence during her relationship with actor William Hurt.
Matlin says she began her two-year relationship with Hurt while filming "Children of a Lesser God." That`s when she was 19; he was 35. And on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE," she tells Joy Behar, who was sitting in for Larry, what happened and why she stayed.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOY BEHAR, GUEST HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Was it violent?
MARLEE MATLIN, ACTRESS (through translator): There was violence.
BEHAR: Sometimes?
MATLIN: All the time.
BEHAR: He`s a big fellow. He might have hurt you. You`re a small girl.
MATLIN: But I kick butt.
BEHAR: You kicked him back.
MATLIN: Oh, yes. I had to. I had to. I had to.
BEHAR: But you stayed?
MATLIN: I didn`t know how to leave. I didn`t have friends in New York. That`s where I was living. I didn`t know that you could ask for help. I didn`t know that you could call 911. I didn`t know. I didn`t know that you could ask your neighbor. Now, I know.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to William Hurt today. We got this statement. He says, quote, "My own recollection is that we both apologized and both did a great deal to heal our lives. Of course, I did and do apologize for any pain I caused. And I know we have both grown. I wish Marlee and her family nothing but good."
ANDERSON: OK. Wait until you hear the shocking advice Leo DiCaprio gives "High School Musical" star Zac Efron. Why Leo says being successful in Hollywood had something to do with heroin. Next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: Dionne Warwick, Burt Reynolds, Sinbad among California`s worst tax debtors. Kanye West`s arraignment on charges related to scuffle with photographer delayed.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. Tonight the key to success in Hollywood, don`t do heroin. Well, that is Leo DiCaprio`s wise advice to "High School Musical" Zac Efron. Efron shared his DiCaprio moment with "GQ" magazine. Efron says ran into DiCaprio at an L.A. Lakers basketball game.
The two set up lunch and DiCaprio gave Efron words to live by. Efron tells "GQ," quote, "I thought I was going to ask him questions. He ended up asking me questions. And in that, he told me a lot. He said, `There`s one way you can really (EXPLETIVE DELETED) all this up, just do heroin. If you steer clear of that, the other obstacles you`ll be able to navigate.` And that makes sense, dude."
That makes sense to me, too, dude. Good advice, Leo. You can read the entire Zac Efron interview in May`s issue of "GQ" magazine, on newsstands April 21st.
So Brooke, as we mentioned a while ago, the octomom has finally gotten all eight of our octuplets at home.
ANDERSON: That woman is really busy, A.J.
HAMMER: Even though Nadya Suleman, by the way, might have a reality show deal, she still needs some extra hands like the busy hands of our hard- working "Showbiz on Call" operators.
Look at them, so good working on these phone cables. Imagine how they would be able to handle the 14 kids. I think they would be great.
ANDERSON: I think they would be great, too. The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are bursting with calls about this octoreality show. Anne calling from Iowa says she would never watch.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
ANNE, CALLER FROM IOWA: My comment is about the octuplet mom. And I would never spend any time watching that woman on the TV. She`s just absolutely nasty.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you for that, Anne. We also heard from Shea in California calling into "Showbiz on Call." She says an octoreality show might be entertaining.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
CALLER: I just want to say to all the people that voted no on watching the octomom reality show, what do you think you`re watching every day? You`re watching it every day. It`s on every entertainment television show. What makes you think that when she gets her own show, they`re not going to watch? I`m sure they`ll be watching.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Shea, thanks for your call. Here`s what we`d like you to do. Call us at "Showbiz on Call." Let us know what you think about this or really anything else that`s on your mind.
ANDERSON: That`s right. The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are open 24/7. Give us a ring - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And your calls to "Showbiz on Call" are also now online. That`s at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.
