Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.
And tonight, Kate`s new bombshells. For the very first time since Jon and Kate announced that they are getting divorced, well, Kate Gosselin is telling all in her very first interview. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got an advanced copy of the interview today.
And talk about brand-new breaking developments. Kate now revealing how she and Jon told their eight kids that they`re splitting up and how the kids reacted. Kate`s brand-new claims about who pulled the trigger on the divorce. And is it really true Jon and Kate have actually been separated for the past two years?
Sure didn`t look that way on the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" show. Let me tell you, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom was a whirlwind today trying to keep up with all of the developments that are making big news right now.

JON GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON & KATE PLUS 8": Kate and I have decided to separate.
HAMMER (voice-over): America is still reeling from the explosive announcement that Jon and Kate Gosselin, the couple at the center of the popular reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" are getting divorced.
KATE GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON & KATE PLUS 8": I`m tired of smiling on the inside when I`m crying on the inside.
HAMMER: Now, in her very first interview since the divorce news broke, an emotional Kate Gosselin tells "People" magazine the separation recently caused her to break down saying, quote, "I curled up in a ball and I sobbed. I couldn`t breathe; I was hyperventilating."
LISA INGRASSIA, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: She`s devastated. This was not what she wanted. She didn`t want her marriage to come to an end.
K. GOSSELIN: Jon has a lot of anger towards me and I would love to discuss it with him and he won`t talk to me.
HAMMER: Announcing their split in this week`s episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," Kate made clear that Jon does not want to be with her anymore and Jon didn`t dispute that.
J. GOSSELIN: I don`t hate Kate. But, you know, I have to do what`s best for me and my kids.
HAMMER: Now, in a bombshell revelation, Kate tells "People" magazine that despite the fact that she filed for divorce, it was actually Jon who wanted the split.
INGRASSIA: Kate told "people" that Jon told her to get a divorce lawyer and so she did it.
HAMMER: Kate tells "People" magazine that quote, "I never would`ve made that step; I never would have done it. But I did because he told me to do it. Jon has been asking for this for a long time. He does not want to be married to me anymore."
K. GOSSELIN: Very swiftly, we turned into two different people.
HAMMER: But Kate`s saying that Jon is no longer the man she married. She tells "People" magazine, "I remember just looking at him and thinking, `I wouldn`t choose to marry that exact person right now, so why am I here?`"
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE GOSSELIN CHILD: Daddy, be quiet because we`re doing the interviews.
HAMMER: When it came time to break the news to their kids, Kate says that she and Jon first went to their older kids - 8-year-old twins, Kara and Mady.
INGRASSIA: Kate told "People" that after Kate and Jon explained that they were getting a divorce that Mady said to her, "Well, I can`t say that I`m surprised." And that Kara then just dissolved into tears.
K. GOSSELIN: Ready, set, go.
HAMMER: Then Jon and Kate told their 5-year-old sextuplets.
INGRASSIA: For the sextuplets, Kate and Jon just basically - you know, they didn`t use the "divorce" word. They didn`t use the word "separation." They just basically explained to the children that, you know, sometimes mom will be in the house and other times Jon will be in the house and they left it at that.
And Kate said that the kids asked what was for snack after that. So she said they didn`t seem to have a tremendous reaction at the moment.
HAMMER: Still, Kate says she`s worried about the long-term effects on the kids. She tells "People," quote, "I`m not naive. I know that my kids will come out of this, to a degree, with some sort of dysfunction. I`m not stupid."
And Kate`s already noticing changes in two of her boys.
INGRASSIA: She said her son Colin has become very withdrawn and shy. And that her son Aaden has become, you know, much more sensitive than he is on a regular basis.
HAMMER: Now, Jon and Kate are trying to work out their new living arrangement where they each take turns living with the kids in the family`s million-dollar Pennsylvania home.
INGRASSIA: Jon has been spotted apartment-hunting in Manhattan for a one- bedroom apartment. And so people are sort of thinking about where he`s going to be spending his time when he`s away from the family.
And for her part, Kate says she doesn`t know what she`s going to do when it`s her time to be away from the family. She`s obviously very despondent about having to be away from her children.
K. GOSSELIN: I will survive and they will survive.
HAMMER: Jon and Kate say they hope to put aside their pain to be good parents. Kate tells "People" she`s encouraged by their plans to spend the Fourth of July together with their kids.
INGRASSIA: Kate said that that gave her a lot of hope that they will be able to work things out for the best of the children and that, you know, they were going to be OK in the long run.

HAMMER: Certainly, it was a highly emotional, really sad interview from Kate Gosselin. Again, it appears in the new issue of "People" magazine, and that`s the cover. It will be on newsstands this Friday.
And in the interview, I`ve got to say, you really get to feel for Kate`s utter devastation. Dare I say, you feel sympathy for Kate. Did I just say that?
With me now in New York is Lisa Bloom. She`s a legal analyst for CNN. Also in New York is Ben Widdicombe. He`s the celebrity editor for "StyleList.com."
Lisa Bloom, I`m not kidding. I actually really feel sympathy for anybody who`s going through a divorce and a split-up. And I`m feeling it for Kate. Are you feeling any?
LISA BLOOM, CNN LEGAL ANALYST: Of course. I have great sympathy for her and for Jon and for the kids. And by the way, as somebody who`s been through a divorce myself with kids, I can tell her it doesn`t necessarily mean the kids are going to be devastated. They can turn out just fine as long as both parties are amicable and friendly with one another and show the kids lots and lots of love. They can end up just fine.
The problem is that they`re living this out in the public light. The kids are in the public light. All this is broadcast to the entire country and to the entire world. That`s the big problem here.
HAMMER: Yes. And people have long picked sides about who they think is at fault and that`s going to happen when it is so public. And everybody`s talking about, "Oh, this person is the responsible for the split - or was alleged cheating."
One of the things that I found really shocking about this brand-new interview, in it, Kate says it was actually Jon who was pushing to end their 10-year marriage. Listen to this. She says, "Jon has been asking for this for a long time. He does want to be married to me anymore. No questions asked, he went and hired a lawyer and said, `You`d better get one.` So I did. I never would`ve made that step. But I did, because he told me to do it."
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that both Jon and Kate individually filed for divorce on Monday. In fact, I`ve got the divorce papers right here naming Kate as the plaintiff and Jon Gosselin as the defendant, and they`re both pushing for a fast-track divorce.
Ben Widdicombe, off to you on this - does Kate`s claim surprise you, that it was actually laid-back Jon that was the first to say, "I`m out of here?"
BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY EDITOR, "STYLELIST.COM": Well, it does. Jon said in his own statement to "People" magazine that he felt he had been too passive in the relationship and that it was time that he stood on his own two feet.
So it was a decision which clearly came to him rather late and at great price to the relationship. Interestingly, they renewed their vows only last August in an episode that aired in November. So this claim that they have been living separate lives for two years is quite a surprise.
HAMMER: Yes. We`ll be getting to that a little bit later on. Everybody, of course, worried about the kids. And as much Jon and Kate may not have seen eye to eye about splitting up, they did come together to explain the divorce to their kids.
They sat down first with their 8-year-old twin daughters. And in this advanced copy of the interview obtained today by SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, here`s what Kate says about that, quote, "We didn`t use the D-word (referring to "divorce") or the S-word ("separation"). We just said it`s not going to be much different than how it is now. But we do need to tell you this. Mady was something. She said, `I can`t say this comes as much of a surprised. I could have guessed.` But Cara just crumpled into tears."
Now Lisa, I know you said it doesn`t have to be devastating. But it does really drive home that no matter what anybody says, the kids are definitely going to be affected by this.
BLOOM: Right. But they aren`t necessarily devastated in the long term. Because if they get a lot of love and support from both parents and the parents are friendly to each other, they`re going to be OK.
By the way, I have to object again, though, to Kate publicizing to all the world her little daughter`s reaction at such a private time. I think that`s completely inappropriate and exploitive of her little daughter. Don`t these kids have any right to privacy at all?
HAMMER: Yes. I mean, you just have to believe perhaps emotions are running so high. She`s used to doing these sit-downs with the magazines and just kind of spilling it. And she`s really going to need to sort of put a cap on that.
In this new interview, Kate is also revealing - she refuses to remove her wedding ring. Listen to this, "I haven`t taken off my ring. It would devastate my kids. It`s not necessary. I was looking at while I was at the shower this morning and I thought, `I`m not taking it off. I`m not ready.`"
HAMMER: So between that, the fact that Kate says there was no defining reason for the split, something she mentions in the interview. And she also says how she and Jon just had different dreams and different ideas at this point in their lives.
Ben, I can almost see people tuning into SHOWBIZ TONIGHT right now. They`re just nodding their heads up and down saying, "Yes, I know what that`s like." Their story just strikes a chord for so many people, doesn`t it?
WIDDICOMBE: Well, a lot of people have been touched by divorce in this country. And you know, they seem to be wanting to do it amicably and they seem to be wanting to do the right thing.
Kate is not taking her wedding ring off just yet. But you know, what? There`s a lot of money at stake. They both have teams of lawyers. I think as soon as the lawyers` letters start flying, it`s going to get ugly pretty quickly.
HAMMER: Yes, Lisa. This is really ringing familiar with so many people, isn`t it?
BLOOM: Yes. I think it is. And look, this is I think the probably the number one reason why people do get divorced. They grow apart. They just don`t want to sleep with the same bed with that person anymore night after night.
Nobody`s accusing the other anymore of adultery or certainly not in the divorce papers, of cruelty or abandonment of any of these grounds for divorce. It`s simply the marriage is over and we just don`t want to do it anymore.
HAMMER: Yes. Why should we be here anymore? Lisa Bloom, Ben Widdicombe, thanks, guys. I appreciate it.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. While a 77-year-old water-skiing granny certainly is impressive, what about a 79-year-old rapping astronaut? Tonight, it`s the buzz about Buzz. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was the first to bring you the outlandish collaboration between former astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Snoop Dogg.
Now, everybody is going crazy about their new rap video, "Rocket Experience." Who would know Buzz would be a natural on the mike? Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos with the buzz about Buzz for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

MOOS: The rap video debuted on the website "FunnyOrDie." And what`s funny about it is this rapper`s favorite singer is Karen Carpenter.
(on camera): Did you ever feel silly doing it?
ALDRIN: Yes.
MOOS (voice-over): And yes, that`s Snoop Dogg making a cameo. The rap video coincides with the release of Aldrin`s book, "Magnificent Desolation" which covers everything from his Apollo 11 mission to his alcoholism.
(on camera): You know how these rappers often have a reputation for rough stuff? Well, not Buzz Aldrin though he did haul off and socked a guy once, one of those conspiracy theorists who don`t believe the moonwalk really happened.
ALDRIN: You`re a coward and a liar and a thief.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Buzz Aldrin is so gansta.
MOOS: After watching that a couple of times -

MOOS: It`s a wonder buzz didn`t beam Sacha Baron Cohen when the comedian duped him playing a hip-hop character Ali G.

COHEN: Do you think man will ever walk on the sun?

HAMMER: I think Buzz Aldrin is gangsta. That was condition CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Well, we`ve got star reaction pouring in about Ed McMahon`s death. The beloved "Tonight Show" star died Tuesday at the age of 86. Now, Britney Spears is just one of the many A-listers who`s very upset by McMahon`s passing.
Britney competed on "Star Search" when she was just a kid. McMahon hosted that show. And on her Twitter page, Britney tweets, "I`m deeply saddened about Ed McMahon. He is responsible for giving so many artists their first shot including myself. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed."
Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT viewers have also been calling into "Showbiz on Call." They`re sharing their very personal thoughts about Ed McMahon`s passing. We got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Michael in New York. And Michael thinks Ed was one in a million.

Well, Bruno got the "American Idol" big-time by telling Paula she won the Austrian-German Entertainer of the Year award and she had to show up to accept it. And he wanted me to eat some of these hors d`oeuvres that looked dog food on a cracker and I wouldn`t eat it. And he asked me to put on a suit and run up against a Velcro wall. I`m like, "No." And then, he goes, "You want to sit?" I go, "Well, obviously, I can`t just - "
He goes, "Immigrants! Immigrants," he yells out. And these two Mexican gardeners come into the house and he tells them to drop down on all fours and for me to sit down on them. I said, "I`m not going to do that." And he goes, "Sit!" I was literally -

Well, tonight, controversial celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is apologizing, sort of, for hurling an anti-gay slur at Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.Am. Now, Will and Perez got into it in Toronto of the Much Music Awards. Perez called Will a nasty anti-gay slur. Will`s manager allegedly punched Perez and Perez posted a rant on his Web site.

HAMMER: Well, Perez who is openly gay got slammed by gay-rights group GLAAD for using the anti-gay slur. And tonight, Perez is apologizing for using the word but says that`s still no excuse for getting hit.
On "PerezHilton.com," he says, "I chose the most hurtful word I know to hurl at him (Will.I.Am). I was in an out-of-the ordinary situation and used a word that I would not utter under normal circumstances."

There are brand-new alarming questions about how that time line matches up with their family reality show. Jon and Kate renewed their wedding vows on the show just last season. So was it all a sham?
Also, brand new tonight, Jon is speaking out about Kate filing for divorce. In a brand-new statement today, he says he`s not the reason she filed papers.

Joining me tonight in New York is Lisa Bloom, who is a CNN legal analyst. In Hollywood tonight is Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra."

You have to check this out. She claims, in a legal document, no less, that they have been living separate lives for two years.
Now, Lisa, as I said, just last season, they renewed their vows in Hawaii. So explain to us how Kate can claim that they`ve been separated for two years on a legal document?
BLOOM: At the root of this is Pennsylvania`s antiquated divorce laws which require fault or somebody to allege, as Kate has, they`ve been living separate and apart for two years if there`s no mutual consent to the divorce.
So - by the way, people can still be living together and still legally be considered separated. But what they can`t have is marital intimacy during the two years. So what she`s essentially saying to the court is that they haven`t been intimate for two years. They`ve been emotional and physically apart, although living in the same home for two years.
And usually, the courts just give this a pass. They know people just say it. They know it`s not true. They want to give people divorces if they want them. They just look the other way. Her problem is she`s in the public eye and everybody knows this isn`t true.
HAMMER: Yes. Well, this isn`t what we`ve been seeing on their show. So riddle me this, Batman, the family reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" has had them living as a family, not one headed for divorce, certainly one with some tension but not with an irreversible problem for the past two years. So Carlos, was it all a sham?
CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": No, I mean, dude, come on. I`ll get personal for a second. I mean, I`ve been divorced. My ex-wife and I went to Hawaii six months before we got divorced. Did that make that vacation a sham? No, you try to make the marriage work.
HAMMER: But would you consider yourself to have been living separately, apart, in separate bedrooms, perhaps, for two years and unemotional with each other?
DIAZ: No, we weren`t. But my point is, it`s like - I mean, you can, you know, emotionally be living separately, you know, from your spouse emotionally without being in separate parts of the house -
(CROSS TALK)
HAMMER: That`s not what we`ve been seeing on the show and that`s why a lot of people are saying today the show is not reality and it`s been a sham.
DIAZ: OK, but what I`m saying is the show is not a 24/7 kind of show. And I agree with you. I mean, we have seen, though, this season the fact that they`ve been apart on the couch. They haven`t been together on the couch. And the couch just keeps getting bigger. You know, they keep getting further and further from each other on the couch.
So it`s not - I don`t think they`re trying to pull the wool over our eyes in the show. It`s just, you know, we`ve seen over the last few weeks and months that they haven`t been on camera as much as they were in the past.
BLOOM: And Carlos, I don`t know if you were in California, but that`s more modern where you don`t have to make this kind of allegation. I mean, really, the problem to me is these ridiculous laws that require people to wait two years and to make these kinds of statements even though they`re clearly not true.
HAMMER: Well, I`ve got to tell you if they wanted to make this a divorce reality show, they`ve got plenty of material here. We`ve got Jon now fighting back against Kate`s claim as to why she felt the need to file for divorce. She has been saying the reason she filed was because of, as she put it, Jon`s actions over the weekend.
Well, she gave a brand-new statement - Jon gave a brand-new statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT today. And Jon is saying, he`s hurt by Kate`s accusations. He also says, quote, "The one thing I do agree with in Kate`s statement is her desire to resolve things amicably. Of course, emotions are running high for both of us right now, but for the sake of our children, I hope that we can both limit our public comments about the legal proceedings going forward."
We all can certainly agree with that for the sake of the children. But Lisa, do you think both sides actually can and will keep things quiet from here on out?
BLOOM: You know, it`s very tough because in this kind of situation, there`s so much need and desire to set the record straight. One party says something. Everybody`s hypersensitive in the context of litigation.
They have to correct the record. They`re both big tabloid public figures now. So I don`t think we`re going to see them quiet. I think they`re going to be continuing to make this kind of statements.
HAMMER: Well, Kate doesn`t seem to be heeding Jon`s advice so far. In a brand-new interview released today by "People" magazine, Kate says Jon was the one who told Kate to get a lawyer because he wanted a divorce. She also reveals how the kids took the news of her and Jon`s split.
Listen to this, "Mady was something. She said, `I can`t say this comes as much of a surprise. I could`ve guessed.` But Cara just crumpled into tears. She was crying, and I was holding her in my arms like a baby, but then she looked up and said, `You said it was bad but it would turn out good.` And I said, `Because it is bad. But it will turn out good. You`ll see. I promise you that."
And keep in mind, these kids, just 8 years old - the twins there. Carlos, so heartbreaking. But is it a good idea for Kate to be sharing with the world how the kids felt about the split? That seems a little off to me.
DIAZ: Yes. You know, I`m a big fan of Kate. I actually really am. And I`m a big fan of the show staying on the air. I think Kate went over the line there.
I think, you know, any kid who`s gone through a divorce - it`s tough enough without having the whole world know that you crumpled down into tears in your mom`s arms and basically became like a baby again. And I think she needs to keep that quiet, keep that part, Kate. Keep that part to yourself.
HAMMER: Yes. Because this goes - exactly what you`re saying, Carlos, goes to the root of the reason so many people are saying their show shouldn`t be on the air because more of this personal stuff is bound to come out.
In fact, in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day, we`ve been asking online and on air, "Jon and Kate Divorce: Should their show be canceled for the sake of the kids?" Let`s put out those results right now.
Look at this. A whopping 91 percent said, yes, cancel it. Only nine percent said no.
Got to get a call in here, too. Marquetta from New York called in to "Showbiz on Call" to say the show should go on. Listen to her.

MARQUETTA, CALLER FROM NEW YORK: I just want to say that I think that Jon and Kate should continue the show. I mean, for god`s sake, they have eight children to take care of. And I mean, what do you expect them to do, work at Burger King or ask the state for welfare?

HAMMER: Lisa, do you see any good in keeping the show continuing on the air?
BLOOM: No. Look, I didn`t think the show should be on the air when they were a happy family. I thought it was exploiting kids at that point, because kids can`t legally consent to having their private lives broadcast.
So I`m opposed to having children on reality shows, period, when the cameras are in their home on a frequent basis. So kids going through a divorce? We`re going to have cameras in that home? We`re going to broadcast that and people are going to make money off of that? Are you kidding me? I mean, what could be more exploitive than that?
HAMMER: Now, a lot of people are suggesting that perhaps they just need to really reel it in, scale it back. I want to read an e-mail we got from Jen, and she wrote into us from Arizona saying, "The cameras should be turned off their weekly show and only be used once a year to mark their birthdays. This would still give Kate a large yearly income."
Carlos, it sounds like a reasonable enough compromise if they insist on keeping the show on the air. What do you think about that?
DIAZ: I think TLC has got their work cut out for them as far as producing this show. I have always been 100 percent that this show should go on. I`ve got to be honest with you, I`m beginning to waver. I would say today I`m about 95 percent after hearing what Kate said.
Here`s the thing. Here`s my suggestion - why not take the kids out of the equation for six months? Why not make the show about Jon and Kate? Just call the show "Jon and Kate."
BLOOM: Yes. That would be fine.
DIAZ: Yes, exactly. Take the kids out of the equation. Let`s follow Kate dating. Let`s follow Jon in his single life. Take the kids completely out of the equation for at least six months.

HAMMER: Lisa, what do you think about that?
BLOOM: Jon minus Kate, you know, I think that`s fine. My objection is the kids. The kids are very little kids. How dare they broadcast their private emotions? That is just to me outrageous.
DIAZ: Yes.
HAMMER: Bad enough dealing with the divorce, let alone it being on TV, and now, in the "People" that is going to sell out when it hit newsstands on Friday.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, plastic surgery superstars. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s teamed up with the fantastic "More" magazine to name some of the most gorgeous, powerful, phenomenally fierce women over 40 who had work done.
From Joan Rivers to Dolly Parton to Vanessa Williams to Cher - they have been nipped, tucked and plumped and they`re not hiding it. And tonight, it`s a SHOWBIZ special report as we bring you an exclusive look at how these extraordinary women say they`re empowering themselves by going under the knife.

(voice-over): They`re gorgeous, over 40 - they`ve all had work done and are all proud of it.
SUSAN SWIMMER, "MORE" MAGAZINE: Getting plastic surgery or having work done has become far more acceptable than it ever was before.
KATRINA SZISH, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: It`s much more to their benefit to be very honest about it and say, "Yes, listen, I`m aging. I think I can look a little bit better, a little bit younger. There`s great technology out there and I`m going to embrace it."
HAMMER: The ambassador of nipping and tucking, comedienne Joan Rivers, has certainly changed over the years. She tells Joy Behar on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE" she got her first facelift when she was just 41.
JOY BEHAR, GUEST HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": How much have you actually had done?
RIVERS: Two full facelifts -
BEHAR: Yes?
RIVERS: And little bitty, bitties -
BEHAR: Tweakings.
RIVERS: Tweakings.
BEHAR: Is there any limit to what you will do? Is there anything you won`t do.
RIVERS: Why? If it`s wonderful and terrific, I would try it.
HAMMER: The only thing Rivers says she hasn`t done - liposuction and lip injections. But the same can`t be said for Lisa Rinna who also makes SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and "More" magazine`s list of women over 40 who have had work done. Lisa`s got no problem telling the world, yes she`s had silicone lip injections. So what? Who cares?
LISA RINNA, ACTRESS: I went out and got silicone put in my top lip 23 years ago.
HAMMER: Lisa tells NBC`s "Today" show host Meredith Vieira she`s always felt good about getting the injections. And it`s not like you can`t tell she`s had them.
RINNA: Everybody knows anyway. You know, I`m just saying, "OK. Guess what? I`m going to say it so now we can be done with it." It`s the pink elephant in the room. Yes, I did it 23 years ago. There, you all have it now. You can go write about it and talk about it. And there it is.
HAMMER: Well, let`s talk about Vanessa Williams. She`s no stranger to injections herself. The "Ugly Betty" star loves botox so much she became their spokesperson.
SWIMMER: Vanessa Williams has been very open about getting botox. It`s something she started doing when she turned 40, as a preventive measure. And she`s very open about it and very comfortable with it.
HAMMER: Williams tells "More" magazine, "I use it very sparingly. I want to look natural. It`s a miracle drug - no cutting, nothing - and I love it!"
And so does Cher. She has no qualms listing all of the procedures she`s had done over the years which is why she makes the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT- "More" magazine list of women over 40 who have had work done.
Cher tells "More," quote, "I had my nose done, my breasts done, my teeth done. If I want to put (EXPLETIVE DELETED) on my back, it`s nobody`s business but my own."
SZISH: Cher is unabashedly honest about her choice and her support of plastic surgery. And I think the fact that Cher and so many of these other women are so fierce about what they do and it really being their own decision, I think it really makes them incredibly powerful, which is not what you would expect with plastic surgery.
HAMMER: And country music powerhouse Dolly Parton is part of that fierce group of phenomenal women over 40 who`s had their share of plastic surgery.
PARTON: I`m not 40 yet.
HAMMER: Well, the iconic bombshell doesn`t look a day over 40. And she tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, plastic surgery keeps her young.
PARTON: If I see some sagging, dragging and bagging, I go get it nipped, tucked and sucked. That`s all there is to that.
SZISH: The idea that if you have plastic surgery, you`re somehow not aging gracefully is really a belief of the past. It`s really just about keeping kind of that young, youthful look, keeping yourself as healthy-looking as possible for as long as possible.

HAMMER: But, wait, there are even more phenomenal ladies over 40 who have had work done. "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Patricia Heaton has had a tummy tuck, a facelift - you name it. Same for talk show host Sharon Osbourne. She`s had - well, she`s had it all done. And as for botox, a lot of fans there. "Friends" star Courtney Cox admits to using it, so do actress Amy Brenneman and model Linda Evangelista. You can read more about it in the July issue of "More" magazine on newsstands now.
Tonight, disturbing connection between Miley Cyrus and a child pornography case. In an absolutely disgusting story, a Tennessee man allegedly pasted photos of the faces of underage girls on pictures of the bodies of naked adult women.
Now, two of the girls in the face pictures were just 10 and 12 years old. The third one, a young Miley Cyrus. The man, Michael Wayne Campbell, appeared in court for the first day of his preliminary hearing. A detective on the case testified that Campbell pasted the heads of the underage girls on the naked bodies to see what they looked like as adults. Well, the detective said that even if the photos weren`t real, he thinks it is still pretty sick.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE DETECTIVE: When you have a face of a small child affixed to a nude body of a matured woman, it`s going to be the state`s position that this is for sexual gratification and that this is simulated sexual activity.

HAMMER: Yes, sick indeed. To be clear, Campbell reportedly never had any contact with Miley or the other two victims.
All right. So just when you thought the Chris Brown-Rihanna drama was over, brand-new stories so unbelievable, we had to call in the SHOWBIZ Truth Squad. Did CoverGirl really pull a giant 180 on Rihanna by pulling her ad off the air and then putting it back on TV?
Also, is Chris Brown really out with a new song about the night he beat up Rihanna? This is just unbelievable. And that is why the SHOWBIZ truth squad is on the case.

Tonight, this guy, legendary music producer Phil Spector wants his MTV. Now, Spector was transferred today to a new prison cell and reportedly asked for his iPod and a TV. Spector was found guilty in April of murdering actress Lana Clarkson.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi say that they are not planning on having kids. The two did get married last summer. But in an interview with AOL TV, Ellen says even though they have definitely thought about kids, they are just as happy without them. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: Well, tonight, a brand-new report claims that after Brown pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting Rihanna, CoverGirl decided to go ahead and put the ad back on the air.
Well, the SHOWBIZ Truth Squad reached out to CoverGirl. They didn`t confirm or deny the report. Here`s what they did say, "Rihanna is a Cover Girl and continues to represent the brand. As a matter of policy, we do not discuss our advertising plans."
In other brand-new Chris Brown-Rihanna drama, a huge buzz around a Chris Brown song called "Not My Fault." It was posted on YouTube, but was quickly taken down earlier today.
So is the song really about the night he beat Rihanna? In the song, Chris sings about a broken-hearted singer girlfriend who made headlines after they spent time together. Naturally, a lot of people think he`s singing about Rihanna.
Listen to some of these lyrics. I`ll try this out, "Shawty is caught up from a long night. She`s ready to fall but see it`s all right. That`s just something that can happen when you put it down. See, she`s caught up, that`s not my fault, right?"
So, could Chris actually be singing about the night he beat up Rihanna? Well, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Truth Squad reached out to Jive Records, and they say quote, "There are no new songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label. There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris."
The SHOWBIZ Truth Squad also spoke with music producer Pharrell, who worked with Chris on the track. Pharrell says that song is almost three years old.
Well, on Tuesday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. And this is what we were asking - "Jon and Kate Divorce: Should their show be canceled for the sake of their kids?"
Look at this. 91 percent of you said yes. Only 9 percent said no. Wow.
Cece from Ontario writing, "The family is going through a tough time with the divorce. It is time the children were able to live a normal, everyday life without the cameras."
