(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROB SHUTER, COLUMNIST, "POPEATER.COM": A lot of this romantic involvement is actually to sell tickets to their new movie.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT throws back the curtain for revelations about Jen`s love connections.

Explosive new reports about Tiger Woods possible sex rehab. But if Tiger really is a sex addict, should he make a public confession or keep it private? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the startling new sex rehab debate.

Will the ladies of "The View" replace Oprah? Tonight, the incredible new reports that as Oprah gets ready to end her show, the ladies could be stepping in.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. Tonight, is Jennifer Aniston trying to pull off a love hoax?

HAMMER: Yes. That`s what everybody was asking today after Aniston was seen cozying up to another one of her co-stars at one of Hollywood`s biggest nights -the Golden Globes. There were brand-new, eyebrow-raising reports today of Jennifer and Gerard Butler engaging in some kissing in the kitchen at the Globes.

But hold on just a second, because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT smells something fishy here, like all this is conveniently coming out just as Jen and Gerard and - do I dare brand them Gerardison - have a movie to promote.

OK. Call us crazy but I can tell you this made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Everyone`s talking about how Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler steamed up the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards.

SHUTER: It was very touchy-feely. They certainly seemed like a couple.

HAMMER: And we just got word today that Aniston and Butler, who co-star in the upcoming movie, "The Bounty Hunter" -

JENNIFER ANISTON, ACTRESS: You cannot be serious!

GERARD BUTLER, ACTOR: I`m dead serious!

HAMMER: Are reportedly teaming up for a super-sexy photo shoot.

SHUTER: These new photographs are so X-rated that I hear some of them will never be printed.

HAMMER: Yes, it`s true. The new "it" couple is Aniston and Butler. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you - wait a second here. The public canoodling with a famous man and the steaming photo-shoots that all just happened before Aniston`s new movie?

We`ve got to say we`ve seen this movie before. It`s a common pattern with Jennifer Aniston. We at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT have to say, Jen, we love you but we`re on to you.

SHUTER: A lot of this romantic involvement is actually just to sell tickets to their new movie.

HAMMER: Rob Shuter of "PopEater.com" tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Aniston and Butler aren`t really a couple. But their touchy-feely show at the Golden Globes may have had an ulterior motive, boosting interest in their movie, "The Bounty Hunter," which hit theaters in March.

SHUTER: After they presented, the studio executives wanted them to sit in the audience together. They thought this would be great publicity.

HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, this is nothing new with Jennifer Aniston whose headline seeking antics are so common it`s like she has a Jennifer Aniston pre-movie checklist.

Check one, right before movie comes out, fan rumors of a romance with a famous guy. Jen`s definitely checked that one off with the whole Gerard Butler thing, like she did when she hooked up with Vince Vaughn in 2006 when they filmed "The Breakup."

ANISTON: I want you to want to do the dishes.

VINCE VAUGHN, ACTOR: Why would I want to do the dishes?

HAMMER: But for Aniston, it doesn`t always have to be a co-star. Last year, her public on-again, off-again relationship with John Mayer just happened to be on again right before the release of her movie, "He`s Just Not That into you." We`re just saying, Jen`s love life has extremely good timing.

SHUTER: I think Jennifer must know that any man that`s associated with her is going to get a lot of press.

HAMMER: Jen`s reportedly also nailing down step two of her pre-movie checklist, a racy magazine photo-shoot. "PopEater`s" Rob Shuter tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she just finished the one with Gerard Butler for an upcoming issue of "W" magazine.

SHUTER: Jennifer is practically naked. She`s wearing silk stockings and lingerie.

HAMMER: Jen`s no stranger to super sexy magazine photos. Her recent "GQ" cover, where she wears nothing but a tie, hit newsstands right before her movie, "Marley and Me," hit theaters.

ANISTON: John, please feed him.

SHUTER: Jennifer is an odd ball. She knows when she`s got a new movie coming out. And when she turns up on the cover of "W" practically naked, everybody is going to be talking about Jennifer.

HAMMER: But Jen has yet to check off the last item on her pre-movie checklist, the tell-all interview about her ex, Brad Pitt. Last year, Jen made a big splash on "Oprah" and in "Vogue" magazine.

ANISTON: They asked me a question and I basically just answered it as honestly as I could.

HAMMER: When she called comments from Angelina Jolie, quote, "un-cool." Aniston`s Jolie diss also happened right around the time of "Marley and Me`s" release. And it`s probably a safe bet that Jen will share a little bit more of her feelings about Brangelina right before "The Bounty Hunter" comes out.

SHUTER: If she wants to get attention for her movie, this girl knows how to do it.

HAMMER: Yes. Jen`s pre-movie checklist is run and rerun about as often as her old show, "Friends."

ANISTON: I remember I was in seat 32C because that`s my bra size.

HAMMER: And just like "Friends" reruns, we still can`t stop watching.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: So is Jennifer Aniston pulling a fast one on all of us? Or is this new romance the real deal? Joining me tonight in Hollywood is Carlos Diaz, who is the correspondent for "Extra." In New York tonight, Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent with "Inside Edition."

OK. Carlos, Megan, since Jennifer Aniston was reportedly getting cozy with her latest co-star, Gerard Butler, at the Golden Globes, everybody`s been all abuzz. Maybe I`m being a cynic here but it does seem every time Jen has a new movie, she`s got a new man on her arm. Carlos, do you think Jen`s new romance is just a hoax?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Oh, you`re talking about "Antler," right? Aniston and Butler. Here`s my thing. You know, Jennifer Aniston - when "Marley and Me" came out, had Owen Wilson by her side by during the junkets so no one could ask her about her personal life.

But what does she do when "The Bounty Hunter" comes out next month or in March? I mean, she`s going to have Gerard Butler by her side, you know, for the junkets. You`re going to say, "Well, hey, are you guys dating?"

But the thing is she brought John Mayer back, you know, for - when "Marley and Me" came out and also at the Oscars - you know what happened last year. So you`re right. She always has that man on her arm when she`s got big things going on in her life.

ANDERSON: Yes, she brought him back. He got another shot, Carlos. Well, I want to whip out Jen`s pre-movie checklist one more time. Take a look at this. Romance with a famous guy. OK. Done. A racy magazine photo-shoot - reportedly in the works. And a tell-all interview about Brad Pitt. Well, we`re still waiting for that one.

Megan, she is two for three here. Has Jen come up with a winning formula if, indeed, this is a publicity stunt? Or are we just being too tough on her?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": I`ve got to tell you, Brooke, I would love to see the two of these people together. They are an adorable couple. I love it. Yes, I think it`s a publicity stunt.

ANDERSON: Yes -

ALEXANDER: But you know what? What about if they do end up starting to date? I mean, who could forget her and Vince Vaughn with "The Breakup?" And then, Brad and Angelina on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." When these things actually happen organically, golden publicity. So I love them together. I think it is a hoax right now, but who knows what could happen?

ANDERSON: You know, I spoke to Gerard on the red carpet at Golden Globes and he is one hunk of a man. So I can see if Jennifer is indeed smitten with him. They would make a gorgeous couple if, indeed, they truly are into each other.

But let`s be honest here. Jennifer Aniston hasn`t come out with a blockbuster movie in a really long time. If a new romance, a little canoodling is all she needs to bring attention to her films, Carlos, should we be applauding her for making a smart career move here? I mean, the girl`s got to pay the bills.

DIAZ: Well, let`s get one thing straight. If the cast of "Friends" are N Sync, then Jennifer Aniston`s Justin Timberlake. I mean, she`s the breakout star of that. Because I mean, you know, Courtney Cox was the star going in and she`s doing TV.

Lisa Kudrow - what`s she doing? The rest of the guys in the show aren`t doing anything. We`re talking about Jennifer Aniston, and like you said, not because of her movies - because of her social life. So I`ve got to give her an A-plus right there about staying in the public eye and keeping our interest.

ALEXANDER: Yes, and -

ANDERSON: And Megan, you brought up a really good point. You know, if Jen`s love life is going to help her sell tickets at the box office, are we wrong for calling her out on it?

ALEXANDER: I`ve got to tell you, he is the guy of the moment, too. Butler is the guy of the moment, so she`s very smart. I say, we should just enjoy it. I think everyone wants to see Jennifer happy and with somebody.

She definitely has the sympathy factor for everybody. So I`m crossing my fingers for these two. I know it`s a long shot but I am.

ANDERSON: Yes. You know, I am, too. I am, too. I hope it works out. But I do have to bring up the Brad Pitt factor here. It has been five long years since they split. People are still obsessed with Jen finding love after Brad.

Here, Megan and I are crossing our fingers for her. Carlos, should Jen just take it as a compliment that people are rooting for her to find Mr. Right, even if it means giving up any semblance of privacy?

DIAZ: Yes, we are. I mean, we do feel for her. I mean, she - in the public eye, she got screwed out of the whole Brad Pitt situation, with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

So we`re rooting for her to find somebody new. But I think it`s about time she sits down with Oprah or Diane Sawyer or Carlos Diaz and talk about Brad Pitt and what went on in that relationship.

ALEXANDER: She has the audience.

ANDERSON: Yes. She would have the audience. Carlos Diaz, Megan Alexander, thank you both. And hey, listen to this - Heidi Montag on the cover of "People" magazine and the story about having 10 plastic surgeries - count them - 10 in one day.

And there might be more to come. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT producer Jenny D`Attoma is in the newsroom working this story.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNY D`ATTOMA, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT PRODUCER: Brooke, I`m trying to sort out this Heidi Montag mess. In one brand-new interview, she`s defending her 10-procedure plastic surgery and says she wants bigger breasts. But in another interview she says she`s not obsessed with plastic surgery.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, explosive new reports about Tiger Woods. So is he in sex rehab? And here`s exactly what I need to know. If Tiger really is a sex addict, should he make a public confession? I have got the startling brand new debate.

And will the ladies of "The View" replace Oprah? Ponder that for a moment or two. There are new reports that when Oprah ends her show, the ladies could actually step in. The question is, would that be a good idea? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Time Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: NYC judge refuses to toss out Letterman extortion case. Documentary "Balloon Boy: Guilty Until Proven Innocent" to be release this year.

MASI OKA, ACTOR: OK. You can just go online, if you could donate. It`s not just about money. It`s about time as well and just even thinking about it. And I guess just being grateful for what we have right now. That`s always it. And there`s never a time when you can`t give.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RINGO STARR, MUSICIAN: We know peace and love is great and we`re here for Haiti so donations would be better. So let`s do what we can do. Send anything you like, big or small donations. We`re not proud. Peace and love. Peace and love. Peace and love.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Ringo Starr just one of dozens of A-list celebrities who took part in a massive two-hour fundraiser on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE" for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Congratulations to Larry, all who helped and everyone who donated. More than $8 million was raised.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York. And A.J., you`ve got Ringo`s revelations.

HAMMER: I do, Brooke. What an extraordinary opportunity I just had to have a long and revealing talk with a living legend. And you have got to hear what Ringo told me about his reunion with Sir Paul McCartney.

Now, Ringo has a new album called "Why Not." He produced it himself. It`s fantastic. He teamed up with some musical greats on this thing - Josh Stone, Ben Harper, and yes, even his former fellow Beatle, Paul McCartney.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(on camera): With Paul, I know you have an immense respect for his talent and you guys have managed to remain great friends throughout the years. How hard was it to maintain that friendship through all of the ups and downs over the decades?

STARR: Well, you know, underlying all the hassles was friendship. And yes, we didn`t get on some weeks. I`d like to say minutes but, you know, sometimes we just don`t get on. I`ve always put it down to that`s what a family is like. You don`t get on every minute.

You know, there`s riles going on. There an argument there. There`s - somebody wants to go left. Somebody wants to go right. Then in the end, it gets sorted out. So Paul and I have had many years sort this out. So, that`s what it is. So now, you know -

HAMMER: At the core - good friends always. It almost defies logic to me now sitting directly across from you what I`m about to say. But in July ...

STARR: Yes.

HAMMER: You`re turning 70 years old.

STARR: I am.

HAMMER: Is this a more reflective birthday for you than those in the past?

STARR: No. I love birthdays.

HAMMER: I love birthdays, too.

STARR: I do. I love them since I was a kid. I love birthdays. And my mother tells me this story when I was little that I would stand by the front door and I was having a birthday party. And if you didn`t bring a present I wouldn`t let you in. I`m still a bit like that.

HAMMER: Well, my birthday is on Halloween so everybody celebrates, you know. Do you dress up on Halloween, by the way?

STARR: Not for a while.

HAMMER: OK. Maybe we can get you back into that.

STARR: Yes.

HAMMER: So here we are. It is 2010, hard to believe, 40 years now - just saying that number - since the Beatles split up. And certainly, the band, the songs are as revered today are as relevant today with if not, in some cases, even more relevant than they were back then.

STARR: It`s true.

HAMMER: Things have certainly changed over the years.

STARR: Yes.

HAMMER: The bands that have come along. Is there anybody in your mind that somebody might be sitting around having this same conversation about in the year 2050, 40 years from now?

STARR: No.

HAMMER: It`s a one-shot deal, isn`t it?

STARR: Yes. It`s - you know, who? You know, I don`t know anybody. I mean, we`re blessed that the music we made is really good. We have great writers and we were four excellent musicians. And it was like a psychic thing going on. We knew where we were going when we played.

You know, you mentioned the hassles. There were hassles when we were all together but as soon as the count-in happened we all gave everything we could. And that`s what I`m proud and the music is carrying on.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It sure is. Ringo`s newest album "Why Not" is in stores right now. You can watch my full interview with Ringo and hear more about his incredible collaboration with Paul McCartney on his new album. It`s definitely worth checking out. All you have to do surf on over to CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.

ANDERSON: A.J., the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been relentlessly ringing with people calling in about Rosie O`Donnell`s comments that stars aren`t doing enough to help Haiti.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. Rosie said that stars should actually pay a cover charge to be a part of the Haiti relief telethon. Now, we`ve got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Chandra in Georgia who said Rosie better put her money where her mouth is.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CHANDRA, CALLER FROM GEORGIA: I was just wondering how much has Rosie donated to help with the relief of the Haiti (UNINTELLIGIBLE). She wants to charge a cover charge for stars participating in the telethon. And if this stars are looking out for Haiti by donating their efforts and their time, you know, I think that`s really good. A lot of them have donated millions of dollars.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Chandra. We also heard from Dana calling in to "Showbiz on Call" from Illinois. And Dana thinks that Rosie is right on.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DANA, CALLER FROM ILLINOIS: I agree with Rosie. If the celebrities are going to be there getting me to give my money, they can afford it - I can`t. They should put up and help out. I don`t agree with the percentage thing. They should give what they want because I would be giving what I want so I want to see them give them their money and volunteer their time.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Dana. Remember, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open.

ANDERSON: Give us a ring - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; that is 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a voicemail and we will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

And tonight, Heidi Montag`s plastic surgery madness.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HEIDI MONTAG, REALITY TV STAR: I`m not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries and look like -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You did have 10 plastic surgeries.

MONTAG: Well, I mean -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So addicted or not, Heidi may not be done with her radical makeover. Wait until you hear what she may be planning to do next.

And the great mystery behind that thing on Brad Pitt`s face. Does he need a major facial hair makeover? I`m going looking for answers.

Plus, will the ladies of "The View" replace Oprah? New reports that when Oprah ends her show, the ladies could step in. But would that be a good idea? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Charlie Sheen and wife head back to Aspen separately for court date. Susan Boyle snubbed, doesn`t get Brit award nomination.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Look in her eyes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tonight, a brand-new box office record for "Avatar." James Cameron must be very happy right now. But is the movie actually leaving some people depressed? "Avatar" has broken the record for the biggest gross ever for the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.

The movie pulled in an estimated $54.6 million over the four days. "Avatar" has been at the top of the box office for five weekends in a row now. But the spectacle of "Avatar" may be a little too real for some viewers who say they`ve been depressed and even had suicidal thoughts after seeing it.

On fan forums online, people are talking about ways to cope with the depression that comes from not being able to live in the beautiful world that James Cameron created.

HAMMER: The SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page is just blowing up with so many people sounding off about Hollywood helping Haiti. Now, Rosie O`Donnell has said that stars are not doing enough and there should be a minimum donation for celebrities who want to be on the telethon.

There are a lot of comments on our wall about this. Kristen A. agrees with Rosie writing, "I find it disingenuous when celebrities hold telethons asking the general public for money. One month of the stars` salaries is probably more than the GNP of Haiti."

But Theresa R. has this to say, "Rosie should spend her charity dollars where she wants to and let others in her industry do the same."

And Theresa, I`m right there with you. And I`d love to hear from you on Facebook. You can also follow us on Twitter. That`s where you get breaking entertainment news alerts. Sign up for our Facebook and Twitter pages at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.

ANDERSON: And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Will "The View" replace Oprah? New reports that when Oprah ends her show, the ladies of "The View" could step in.

We`ll also have this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: I`m not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries and look like -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You did have 10 plastic surgeries.

MONTAG: Well, I mean -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Heidi Montag`s plastic surgery madness. She may not be done with her transformation yet.

And big Beyonce baby news. You don`t want to miss this. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

HAMMER: It`s time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, and they are making news right now.

TEXT: Ricky Martin travels to Haiti to support Habitat for Humanity. Sequel to "The Hangover" to start shooting later this year.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

EVA LA RUE, ACTRESS: It`s a terrible, terrible situation. I just think that it helps to have people like George Clooney put together a huge telethon and gather everybody`s thoughts and emotion into one precise, focus point and pull up money from everywhere into that focus point.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: I`m not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You did have ten plastic surgeries.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Heidi Montag`s plastic surgery madness. Ten surgeries in one day. Yet, she says she`s not addicted. Tonight, Heidi`s shocking new revelation that she might go under the knife again.

Is Tiger Woods in sex rehab? Brand-new explosive report that the golf star is being treated for sex addiction. Should Tiger make a public confession? Can he ever show his face on the golf course again? It`s the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT great debate.

The daytime dance between Oprah and "The View." Will the ladies of "The View" be heirs to Oprah`s daytime throne?

Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight, oh, so plastic.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. Does it get any more plastic than plastic surgery lover and reality show star Heidi Montag? I think not. My head was just spinning today by all of her messy mixed messages.

Even as Heidi is on the cover of the current issue of "People" magazine with the headline "Addicted to Plastic Surgery," there is a new interview today in which Heidi says she`s not obsessed with plastic surgery.

But in yet another brand-new interview, she says she wants even bigger breasts. Huh? And there`s an explosive new report about Tiger Woods` possible sex rehab, this on the heels of another brand-new report that Tiger may be headed back to the golf course.

But hang on to your driver. If the sex rehab reports are true, should Tiger speak about it publicly when he finally does show his face?

Joining me from Hollywood is Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra." In New York, with me tonight, Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition."

All right. I`ve got to begin with Heidi Montag`s brand-new interview this morning on "Good Morning America" after her "People" magazine interview where she admitted to having 10 - count them - 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

I`ve got to say she really came out swinging against her critics who say she is addicted to plastic surgery. Check it out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: I would say none of those people know me at all and that`s just a judgment. I`m not addicted. If I were addicted I would have had 10 plastic surgeries and look like -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You did have 10 plastic surgeries.

MONTAG: I mean 10 times. I really had two different surgeries. I had one three years ago. And then I had one that I had several procedures done weeks ago. If you`re addicted to something, you have to do it all the time, not once every couple of years.

(END VIDEO CLIP) b

HAMMER: All right, Megan. Heidi says she`s not addicted. I say, she sounds pretty delusional.

ALEXANDER: She did. I agree with you, A.J. I thought she seemed very out of it and she was still swollen from all those surgery procedures. A couple of interesting things I took from this interview.

One, she admitted she was teased as a child. What a good reminder of how fragile self-esteem is in kids, especially young woman ...

HAMMER: Yes. Absolutely.

ALEXANDER: And how - look to the extreme that she takes it. A good reminder of that. Second, she said that this is an improved version of herself, only physically, though. What about emotionally, intellectually? How is she doing in other aspects of herself? So I thought she really reduced it to be purely physical, which is just really fat.

HAMMER: It sounds like she has a lot of rationalization going on in her mind. Let me run down some of the procedures that she admits to having had. She had breast implants, a nose job revision, Botox injection, liposuction, mini-brow lift, chin reduction.

We`re talking 10 surgeries in all, and all, again, in one day. Carlos, it blows my mind - and let me remind you, she`s only 23 years old. And at that age, Heidi seems to think she doesn`t have any kind of a problem.

DIAZ: Yes. She says her critics don`t know her. Actually, they just don`t recognize her because she had so many surgeries done. And I think this is - and I`ll say it. I think Heidi and Spencer are geniuses when it comes to creating buzz about themselves from the King Spencer stuff to the whole thing with Al Roker.

They stay in the media. But this - Heidi, this is going to too far because you`re messing with your physical appearance in order to stay in the headlines. Where do you go from there?

HAMMER: Yes. And apparently, Carlos, she`s not done yet. In another brand-new interview with your show, "Extra," Heidi talks about her desire to get bigger breasts. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You want to have your boobs made bigger? You said they were an F, correct?

MONTAG: Triple D. F - I like the F. I actually want H for Heidi.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Carlos, I mean, there she is, cracking jokes over this. But I`m really not sure at all whether this is funny or sad. Actually, I`m pretty sure it`s just sad.

DIAZ: Well, I mean, I appreciate her giving the interview to us at "Extra." And I thank her for sitting down with us But really, you know, when she says that she had this procedure to tell young people how tough plastic surgery is, young people need to look at this and say to themselves, "Don`t do this," because at 23, she was beautiful. She doesn`t need to have size F or H boobs. She didn`t need to have her chin reduced.

She was beautiful to begin with. And now, if you look at the interview on "Extra," her face just doesn`t really have any kind of expression whatsoever.

HAMMER: I`m quite honestly not sure that there is a size H. But all kidding aside, Megan, do you think that she even gets that she has young girls looking up to her? I mean, she thinks that she`s setting a good example for them? I think she doesn`t get the impact she can have on these young women?

ALEXANDER: I think you`re completely right. And I`m wondering what Spencer is doing for all this. I think Spencer should get her out of Hollywood. I think she`s been so around and sucked into this Hollywood culture that she doesn`t know, A.J., what she`s doing anymore. And honestly, I think if he was a good husband, he should pull her out.

HAMMER: Yes. Brooke, we talk about this all the time, how important it is that young stars send the right kind of message. It seems that she is so way off base here.

ANDERSON: Yes. I don`t think her influence on young girls has really sunk in with Heidi, judging by the drastic action she`s taken. How could it have, A.J.? I mean, it just seems to me that she has a really twisted, warped view of who she is and very low self worth and it`s going to extremes to find contentment.

HAMMER: Yes.

ANDERSON: It is really, really sad to me. But she also told "Good Morning America" that she feels the pressure in this industry focused on appearance to look perfect and she says her message to young girls is a good one. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: My main message is that beauty is really within.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But that may be your message, but that`s not the message you`re sending with all of this.

MONTAG: But I`m also in a different industry than they are. You know, I`m in a limelight. I`m in a different industry and I have to do things that are going to make me happy at the end of the day. And I`m living in my skin and I look in the mirror. And it`s my career and my life and you only have one. So I want to take advantage of everything and be the best me in and out, every way.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Megan, I guess for Heidi, the "best me" means fixing what`s not picture-perfect? Do you think she will ever be satisfied? She says that she`s just getting started.

ALEXANDER: See, that`s the scary part, Brooke. And again, she`s only dealing with the physical aspect of herself. The best her, again, mentally, emotionally, intellectually - we are such incredible human beings and so often we reduce ourselves to simply physical beings.

And she`s touching on just a fraction of who she is as a person, especially if she says she wants to be an entertainer. What about the voice? Is she working on the voice and her performance? I think she`s reducing herself to just a physical shell which is really sad.

HAMMER: Well, let`s hope she`s paying attention and figures this out very, very soon.

I want to move on now from plastic surgery addiction to possible sex addiction. A brand-new report out today that Tiger Woods is in sex rehab in Mississippi. And another report says he could return to the golf course as early as this spring.

Carlos, what do you think? If Tiger is in rehab for an addiction to sex and he does return to the golf course, is it essential that he talks publicly about all of this before he returns to the green?

DIAZ: Yes. Yes, it is. And even more so because he went to sex rehab. Now, I really want to know what`s going on in his head because it`s one thing if you`re a famous golfer and you have all that pressure and then you cheat on your wife. It`s like, wow. That`s a story I have to hear.

But then you go to sex rehab where you`re actually having to be treated for wanting to have sex too much. Now, that`s your in as a reporter or as anyone who wants to interview him. OK, tell me about sex rehab and what goes into that.

HAMMER: Yes.

DIAZ: And then you have this long answer from him about what`s going on in his head.

HAMMER: Yes. Megan, quickly, I`ve got to ask you. I don`t see where he even has a choice but to address this if he`s going to move on.

ALEXANDER: I don`t want to hear him talk about it, though, until he`s done with rehab. Take care of yourself first, then talk about it. He`s finally getting the help that he needs, let`s hope.

HAMMER: All right. Megan Alexander, Carlos Diaz, I thank you, my friends.

ANDERSON: I`ve got to say, I`m a big fan of the ladies of "The View," especially HLN`s own Joy Behar. But think about this, could "The View" actually replace "Oprah?"

Tonight, brand-new reports say ABC may name "The View" as heir to Oprah`s daytime throne. Is this the best idea ever? Or should ABC take a little time and enjoy "The View" right where it is?

And the mystery of the ages. What the heck is that thing on Brad Pitt`s face? Is it a toupee, tumbleweed or just a really bad beard? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates the curious case of Brad Pitt`s beard.

Plus, the pants on the ground phenomenon -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: pants on the ground! Pants on the ground! Looking like a fool with your pants on the ground!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Forget the pants. You`ll be looking like a fool if you haven`t seen this "American Idol" phenomenon. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Time now to roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROSE BYRNE, ACTRESS: It`s great to see compassion from everybody, from this industry, from so many countries, from obviously aid agencies around the world who tirelessly work for these causes. You know, it very much puts things into perspective and, you know, invites everybody to do their bit.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Now, give it up. Hey, get your pants off the ground. Looking like a fool brother. Talking with your pants on the ground. Give it up. Hey, get your pants off the ground.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: What was that? If you have not heard this song from "American Idol" hopeful Larry Pratt - hello? Where the heck have you been? "Pants on the Ground" is not quite burning up the music charts, but it is warming hearts everywhere. Tonight, you`ve got to hear about the obsession with "Pants on the Ground."

But first, the startling news today that Oprah could be replaced by the ladies of "The View." I know this sounds wild but a new report claims a top-secret plan could be in the works for the ladies of "The View" to replace Lady O when she leaves her show after 25 years in exactly 598 days - not that I`m counting.

Also tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates Brad Pitt`s bizarre beard. What the heck is going on there, Brad? I`m getting to the bottom of that beard.

Here in Hollywood is Kristen Dos Santos. She writes the E-Online column, "Watch with Kristen." And in New York tonight is Ben Widdicombe. He is a celebrity journalist.

Kristen, Ben, let`s begin with Oprah and that report that the ladies of "The View" will move in when Oprah moves out, September, 2011. Now, Kristen, I love "The View." I love "Oprah." But come on, can "The View" really replace "Oprah?"

KRISTEN DOS SANTOS, COLUMNIST, "WATCH WITH KRISTEN": I certainly don`t think so. And I actually would be very surprised if this were to happen. Oprah isn`t leaving until next September. And obviously, ABC is trying to put their ducks in a row on how to take on her as, you know, competition.

But what I`m hearing is that Barbara Walters does not want this to happen. The ABC affiliates don`t want this to happen because they would then have to bid on the show they have been getting for free.

Not to mention "The View" is very much a morning show. It`s essentially a coffee klatch. So what I`m hearing is that ABC is looking for a "View"-type show to go in that slot, but not necessarily "The View" that we already know and love.

ANDERSON: Maybe another female-driven show that targets women, appeals to women. That`s an interesting perspective there. And "The View" told us late today that they are flattered by the attention but they didn`t confirm. They didn`t deny the report. But Ben, is this one of those rumors that you hope could be true?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: Well, what I think they should do is give the time slot to Conan O`Brien for seven months, then say "psych" and pay him $30 million to go away.

But seriously, the analogy with NBC is that "The View" isn`t broken, so why move it? I mean, it might work at Oprah`s timeslot, but it`s already working. It`s a spectacular success for them. So I think it would be a risk to move it, but the safest thing to do would be to leave it where it`s successful.

ANDERSON: And "Oprah" is irreplaceable. I just want to get that on the record right now. I want to move now to a very disturbing and serious crisis on the minds of women everywhere - Brad Pitt`s bizarre beard.

It has morphed right before our very eyes over the past 12 months. Brad even now has beads and jewelry and who knows what else in that thing. Ben, maybe it`s a guy thing. Can you help us understand why he is digging that ugly creature on his face?

WIDDICOMBE: Well, you know, men don`t mind being seen as good-looking. But they don`t like being thought of as "pretty boys." So I think the beard is him rebelling against his tabloid image, of this pretty Brad Pitt.

And you know, he certainly succeeded because that thing looks like a rat committed suicide by throwing itself out of his mouth with a rope tied around its neck, and it`s just hanging there. But you know, Angelina likes skanky old men - Billy Bob Thornton - so maybe she`s into it. I don`t know.

ANDERSON: Oh, I don`t think he looks skanky, though. He still looks pretty good even though it does make him look a little bit dirty, though he could have anything braided, bedazzled or whatever he wants to on his face and still look decent, I think.

And listen to this - Brad`s beard has even earned its own fan letter from "People.com." Here it is, "Dear Brad Pitt, what a year it`s been for you. Accolades for `Inglorious Basterds,` globe trotting with those six adorable kids and Angelina, giving away millions to charity. Who`s a better guy than you? There is one little thing. What`s up with that thing on your chin?"

Kristen, do you agree or are you digging Brad`s Jack Sparrow thing?

DOS SANTOS: You know what? I can forgive it when you are one half of the most famous couple in the world, that perhaps he`s trying to conceal his face a little bit. I mean, the guy had paparazzi following him when he goes out to buy milk.

So that being said, what I`m concerned about the trickle-down effect, OK? We have George Clooney with a beard. We have John Hamm with a beard. We have even Josh Radnor with a beard. I think Brad is sending out a dangerous message that it`s OK to hide the face that made you famous in the first place, and that is not OK.

ANDERSON: No, it is not OK. I do not want this ugly beard to become a trend. Please, say it ain`t so. All right. Also making big news right now, it`s the unbelievable "Pants on the Ground" groundswell.

After his adorable performance on "American Idol," 62-year-old Larry Pratt may not have made it to Hollywood. But really, who needs Hollywood? He`s got a hit song -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LARRY PRATT, "AMERICAN IDOL" CONTESTANT: Pants on the ground, pants on the ground. Looking like a fool with your pants on the ground. With the gold in your mouth. Head turned sideways. Pants hit the ground. Call yourself a fruitcake, looking like a fool, walking downtown with your pants on the ground -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: It kind of sticks in your head. The lyrics are catchy and he is catchy. The Minnesota Vikings were even singing it after their playoff win. Kristen, what do you think? Could this be the new Macarena?

DOS SANTOS: I think so. And I have to say I think Larry definitely has the power to bring a public service announcement to the masses. He`s a hit on YouTube. So I`m thinking there`s great potential here. Maybe he could tackle comb-overs, not OK. Pantyline, not OK. I`d like a jingle for all of these things.

And obviously, this just shows this great power of "Idol." You know, you have 30 million people watching this show. And even when you have someone who is the next William Hung, people pay attention.

ANDERSON: That`s right.

DOS SANTOS: And I personally can`t get that jingle out of my head.

ANDERSON: "Pants on the Ground" is catching fire and the lyrics, you know, really, are pretty true. He`s telling it like it is. Kristen Dos Santos, Ben Widdicombe, thank you both.
