A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Big breaking news right now on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tonight, the dramatic very first photos of Tiger Woods at a facility that specializes in sex rehab. And explosive brand-new reports on the "Today" show about what Tiger could be going through in sex rehab from someone who`s been there.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: These places are incredibly intense.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the brand-new, breaking Tiger news you haven`t heard before.

John Mayer`s unbelievable brand-new revelations today about his feelings for Jennifer Aniston. Why John says he`s still hung up on Jen. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, should John and Jen get back together?

And run for the hills! Get out of the way because look out, everybody. The Octumom is back and she`s in a bikini.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

And tonight, a Tiger Woods rehab photo shocker. Yes, the very first picture has surfaced today of Tiger Woods apparently at the rehab clinic in Mississippi that specializes in treating sex addiction.

The photos were made public today by the "National Enquirer," and they would be the first sighting of Tiger since his world fell apart after a car crash last November, followed by, of course, a parade of women who claimed that Tiger was a serial cheater.

There are also brand-new revelations today about what Tiger could actually be going through in sex rehab. All of this made for big news breaking today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): It used to be when you talked about Tiger Woods money shot, you were talking about this. But today, this is the Tiger Woods money shot. Brand-new photos released today by the "National Enquirer" reportedly are the very first pictures of Tiger Woods since the cheating scandal exploded almost two months ago.

They were taken at the facility in Mississippi where Tiger Woods reportedly is getting therapy for sex addiction.

ROB SHUTER, "POPEATER.COM": Every journalist, every photographer in the world has been trying to get this money shot. Nobody has got it until today.

HAMMER: Remember those super polished squeaky clean images we used to see of the golf superstar? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you these new photos are grainy, messy and depressing, a perfect snapshot of where Tiger is now.

BENOIT DENIZET-LEWIS, AUTHOR AND JOURNALIST: Tiger Woods has checked himself into the Pine Grove Treatment Center in Mississippi.

Author and journalist Benoit Denizet-Lewis, a regular contributor to the "New York Times" magazine and a recovering sex addict himself, appeared this morning on the "Today" show. He told Meredith Vieira that, according to his sources, Tiger is indeed getting treatment for sex addiction at Pine Grove`s Gentle Path Program in Mississippi. That`s where the "National Enquirer" photos were taken.

LEWIS: There are about a handful of respected sex addiction treatment centers where Tiger or anyone can check in. They are expensive. They tend to last four to six weeks. Most people who come into treatment for sex addiction are not coming because they expect to sort of have a holiday in treatment or they are looking for some excuse for their behavior.

They are coming because their life has been profoundly impacted by this, their jobs, their marriages, their friendships.

HAMMER: Tiger Woods` life definitely has been profoundly impacted by this cheating scandal. Woman after woman after woman has been coming forward to claim affairs with Tiger ever since he crashed his SUV Thanksgiving weekend after a reported argument with his wife, Elin.

SHUTER: Nobody has seen Tiger ever since Thanksgiving Day. He`s been absolutely gone, missing in action.

HAMMER: And when Tiger Woods went underground, he became the most wanted celebrity in America. Reports of his whereabouts literally went all over the map, from Florida, to New York, back down to Florida and all the way to Arizona. But no one managed to get any sort of pictures of him until today.

SHUTER: The picture reportedly of Tiger Woods is a PR disaster.

HAMMER: Rob Shuter of "PopEater.com" tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT these new photos in the "National Enquirer" aren`t going to help Tiger`s efforts to clean up the damage he`s done to his reputation.

SHUTER: The first photograph of Tiger Woods sets the tone. It sets the image. It tells the public the truth about what is going on. So it is harmless to send out a photograph of him sitting on the couch with his children, looking happy trying to restore his marriage. That`s a better image to have out there than a grainy shot of him with a beard looking very, very sad.

LEWIS: It`s really, really, really hard work.

HAMMER: Journalist and recovering sex addict Benoit Denizet-Lewis tells the "Today" show, Tiger is doing the right thing.

LEWIS: The people who go there are incredibly brave to actually face this, because a lot of people don`t face their addictions.

HAMMER: And if the picture is to be believed, Tiger is facing his problems. But if he planned on doing so privately, then this world famous competitor is going to have to change his game plan.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to Tiger Woods` representatives and the rehab center named in the "National Enquirer" story to comment on the reports that Tiger Woods is in therapy for sex addiction. They did not respond before show time.

So if Tiger Woods really is in a sex rehab clinic, can a public glimpse into his private battle actually help him?

With me tonight in New York is Cooper Lawrence, who is a psychologist and author of this fine book, "The Cult of Celebrity." In Hollywood tonight is Carlos Diaz, a correspondent for "Extra."

HAMMER: All right, guys. We know the deal. People have been waiting and waiting and waiting for that first glimpse of Tiger Woods since this drama unfolded. And let me remind you, this goes all the way back to Thanksgiving now since we`ve seen him.

Today, the "National Enquirer" released these first photos of what appears to be Tiger at a rehab clinic. Cooper, is this - these photos getting out there - actually a good thing for Tiger Woods?

COOPER LAWRENCE, PSYCHOLOGIST AND AUTHOR: No. I mean, actually, if you really are in any type of rehab, the anonymity of it is really the part - that`s why it`s called Alcoholics Anonymous. That`s why "anonymous" is in there. I mean, granted that he`s Tiger Woods, it`s not going to be too anonymous.

But we shouldn`t know about this. It`s a mistake that these pictures were released, a mistake that they used this out of the clinic.

HAMMER: But there are those who would say, well, at least it looks like he`s doing something. I mean I have to imagine Tiger`s PR team may be pretty upset that these photos are out there if it really is showing Tiger Woods in rehab.

But Carlos, what do you think? I mean, is this potentially, actually a good PR move for him? Or is this a PR nightmare?

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": I`m leaning toward PR nightmare, and we`ll talk about Tiger Woods and what this does for his image in a second. But first, let`s focus on this.

He`s going to be in group therapy with a number of different sex addicts, OK? You know that these sex addicts are going to be hearing every detail of Tiger Woods` sexual addiction. They are going to be targets when they leave this place as far as people wanting the information that they have.

So that`s a PR nightmare right there. And what about reporters now for these tabloid who are going to be running to this place, disguised as people with sexual addictions, trying to get in there so they can get a glimpse of Tiger and maybe the story from the inside.

LAWRENCE: Well, he shouldn`t be in group therapy. I mean, if it is Tiger Woods and he is in there, he should be having private sessions.

(CROSSTALK)

HAMMER: I`ve always wondered that.

DIAZ: Listen, I`ve talked to doctors today and they say that if you`re not in group therapy, it doesn`t work. There has to be a group setting at some point, maybe not early on, but later, there has to be a group setting for Tiger Woods to talk about his problems.

HAMMER: Withhold any urge to say anything in terms of humor right now, because I know it`s tempting. But these photos are coming out just as a shocking new report gain even more buzz, claiming that Tiger being treated for sex addiction is exactly what`s going on.

In fact, this morning on the "Today" show, the reporter who broke the Tiger sex rehab story, a guy named Benoit Denizet-Lewis, spoke out for the first time. Now, Lewis is a contributor for the "New York Times" magazine. He is recovering sex addict himself.

And today, he shot down any speculation that sex addiction is just an excuse for bad behavior. Watch what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LEWIS: Most people who come into treatment for sex addiction are not coming because they expect to sort of have a holiday in treatment or they are looking for some excuse for their behavior. They are coming because their life has been profoundly impacted by this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Cooper, suspending for a moment the fact that you don`t believe the sex addiction exists and that rehab is a joke, paraphrasing what you said here before. I`m actually thinking if he is in sex rehab.

(CROSSTALK)

LAWRENCE: No. It`s not recognized in the American Psychological Association.

HAMMER: OK. All right. But if he is there and these new pictures prove he is there, shouldn`t we be giving him the benefit of the doubt, saying, hey, you know what? If he`s got a problem and he`s really addressing it, we really need to give him the opportunity to do that.

LAWRENCE: He clearly has a problem. It`s all about consequences. Any addiction is not about how much, how often - it`s all about the consequences. Look at the consequences. He`s lost his sponsorships. He`s lost his family.

I mean, the consequences here are very dire. But the question is, where were you a year ago, two years ago? This has been going on for so long. You had to wait to get caught? That`s not true for all addicts.

HAMMER: But that`s what we see a lot with addicts. We talk about it with alcoholism all the time and hitting bottom and all of that.

Now, for the people who think, rehab for sex addiction? What is that, like going on a vacation? Well, the "New York Times" contributor told Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show this morning, it is no walk in the park. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LEWIS: It`s really, really hard work. And the people who go there are incredibly brave to actually face this, because a lot of people don`t face their addictions.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Carlos, what do you think? Perhaps, you know, now, in light of this report, in light of the fact that people are seeing what may actually be going on there, the tide may turn and sympathy may start going in Tiger`s direction?

DIAZ: You know what? This is going to be such a tough road for Tiger Woods because if he is an alcoholic and he goes to AA, it`s the equivalent of him coming out of AA and having friends shove drinks in his face constantly.

He`s always going to be Tiger Woods. When he gets out of this sexual addiction clinic, women are still going to throw themselves at him constantly. And now, before, if he got a divorce from Elin, he focused on golf and you saw him with another woman, well, that`s just him being single. Now, Elin is an integral a part of this, and if he gets out, and you see him with another woman, it is another big headline, another big rumor that is going on out there.

HAMMER: All the more reason he may need to just address the issue as soon as he gets out, if in fact he is in a sex rehab clinic. Carlos Diaz, Cooper Lawrence, thanks so much.

Tonight, John Mayer singing a brand-new tune, breaking up is hard to do, especially when it`s with Jen Aniston. Yes, John says he never quite got over Jen. Wait until you hear what else he is saying. So we`re asking, should John and Jen get back together?

We will also have this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HEIDI MONTAG, REALITY TV STAR: Well, my main message is that beauty is really within. And -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But that may be your message, but that`s not the message you`re sending with all of this.

MONTAG: But I`m also in a different industry than they are.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Heidi Montag`s inner beauty and 10 plastic surgeries. Tonight, why Janice Dickenson is defending Heidi. You`ve got to hear this for yourself.

And it`s what we`ve all been waiting for - Octumom, the swimsuit edition. Why octumom is back and in a bikini. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

MARTHA STEWART, TV HOST: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Slow walk, drag it through. Oh, my God! Look at Martha!

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

STEWART: She got me on the pole.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Did you see this? Here`s something I clearly thought I would never say in my life. It`s Martha Stewart pole dancing. Yes, Martha got on the pole on her show. This was for an exercise segment. Is it a good thing? I`ve got to be honest, I`m not sure yet.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. An all-star telethon for Haiti, a 3D Michael Jackson tribute and a lawsuit over an ad featuring Valerie Bertinelli. It is all in the buzz today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): The weighty Bertinelli lawsuit. Weight Watchers is suing Jenny Craig over their ads featuring Valerie Bertinelli calling them deceptive and misleading. Bertinelli claims in the commercials that a major clinical trial proves that the Jenny Craig diet is twice as effective as Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers claims there`s no proof of that and wants a court to order the ads pulled.

A Michael Jackson 3D tribute at the Grammys. The late King of Pop will be a focal point of Grammy Awards. And the Grammys has just revealed there will be a 3D video of Jackson performing with other stars like Usher and Celine Dion. The five-minute video, "Earth Song," is an environmental call to action and was shot at Jackson`s planned concert tour.

All-star telethon for Haiti. An all-star cast has just been revealed for the George Clooney-hosted telethon to help Haiti`s earthquake victims. Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Bono and Jay-Z are among the stars who will perform this Friday. The telethon will be broadcast over most major networks, including CNN.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Tonight, CNN`s Dr. Sanjay Gupta on Oprah. On her show today, Oprah got the scoop from Haiti where Dr. Gupta is on the ground treating earthquake victims and reporting on the terrible situation there. Oprah asked Dr. Gupta why this disaster has been unlike any other.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": With everything that you`ve seen in your career, all the crises, why does Haiti have you the most worried at this point?

DR. SANJAY GUPTA, CNN MEDICAL CORRESPONDENT: Well, you know, you`ve got to think about where Haiti started, Oprah, and you`ve talked about this earlier. This is a country that`s, as you know, one of the most impoverished in this part of the world.

But as a reflection of that, the medical infrastructure was terrible, really nonexistent in so many places. It has one of the worst physician- to-patient ratios anywhere in the world.

That was the starting point eight days ago. But you know - so you start there and then all of a sudden, you decrease the amount of hospital, the amount of personnel available and you exponentially increase the number of patients who need that infrastructure.

And that`s what really worries me. You know, it`s kind of hard to imagine how you`re going to catch up from all that. But also, again, you have - the tsunami people either lived or they died.

People who lived - they needed basic supplies like food and water. But for the most part, they weren`t injured. People here lived, but they lived with catastrophic injuries and they need that care. And that really does worry me very much.

WINFREY: And so you`re saying, what you need is somebody on the ground to be in charge creating an infrastructure for distribution?

GUPTA: Yes. Every natural disaster has its own personality. They`re all going to be different. So there`s no question that assessments are needed to try and figure that out.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, Sanjay is just doing a remarkable job as a reporter, but a doctor first, on the scene there in Haiti.

Well, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop as we move on tonight. A lot of people have been calling in about Heidi Montag`s massive plastic surgery makeover.

We got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Terri in Florida. And Terri says Heidi looked better before her 10 surgeries.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: I just really think that she has really ruined her looks. Before, she had a natural sparkle in her eyes and really lovely features. And right now, I mean, the way she looks, she looks like she`s aged.

She does not look like a 23-year-old. And I`m really taken aback that she really thinks that she looks better. But unfortunately, she doesn`t and she is sending the wrong message.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: We appreciate the call, Terri. We also heard from Shamir calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Texas. And Shamir says leave Heidi alone.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: She knows what she wants to do for her - let her be. She`s a grown woman. She`s over 21. She`s of age. She`s able to do it if she wants to. I don`t think there`s anything wrong with it. I believe she`s beautiful and I love it.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, we appreciate your call, Shamir, as well. Remember, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are open all the time. Here`s the number - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Just leave us a voicemail. That way, we can play your call here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

And we are not done with Heidi yet. Oh, no.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: Well, my main message is that beauty is really within.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But that may be your message, but that`s not the message you`re sending with all of this.

MONTAG: But I`m also in a different industry than they are.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So Heidi`s inner beauty theory does seem to contradict all the work that she`s had done. But tonight, defending Heidi. Janice Dickinson, rushing to Heidi`s defense, and you are not going to believe what Janice has to say.

Also, John Mayer still hung up on Jennifer Aniston. John says he never really got over Jen. So tonight, we`re asking, should they get back together?

Also, reports that when Oprah ends her show, "The View" could take her spot. The question is, is that a good idea? Wait until you hear the surprising results of our poll and your fired up E-mails. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, as always, we like to have a celebrity tweet. And hey, we have a celebrity tweet from Sherri Shepherd on "The View."

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Hi, Sherri.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How did she know to call in and tweet in today? And here`s the question for you, Elisabeth, "What is the material that the NFL uses for the players pants to make their butts look good?"

HASSELBECK: That`s nice, Sherri. I have to say to you, I`d assume there`s at least like a six percent spandex in there somewhere. So I`d say I`d go with spandex.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And I think in some players` uniforms, more spandex the better.

HASSELBECK: Maybe.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Including the Williams` wall on the Minnesota defensive line. Hey, they`re good at what they do. And spandex helps everybody.

HASSELBECK: I`m going to try a little bit. I mean, I don`t know. Good luck, buddy.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC PLAYING)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

Tonight, John is not over Jen. An explosive, brand-new interview just released today where John Mayer reveals he cannot move on from Jennifer Aniston. John Mayer says he`s the jerk for breaking up with Aniston.

But even more shocking, wait until you hear why he says he just doesn`t think he can get over Jen after hearing his astonishing revelations today. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, should John and Jen get back together?

And get this - is Jennifer Aniston too fat? Yes, a brand-new explosive "New York Times" blog is sparking major outrage today.

Joining me tonight in New York is Jessica Callan who is the news director for "Life and Style Weekly." Tonight, from Hollywood, it`s Carlos Diaz who is a correspondent for "Extra."

So we start tonight with John Mayer`s truly shocking revelations to "Rolling Stone" about his longtime on-and-off relationship and love affair with Jennifer Aniston. Believe or not, this began nearly two years ago.

John says this, "I have never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life. I`m the (EXPLETIVE DELETED). I burned the American flag. I basically murdered an ideal."

Now, I`ve always appreciated John Mayer for his honesty. But wow, talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve. Carlos, I`m thinking if this is how he feels, John Mayer needs to pick up that phone, hit the auto dial, because you know he hasn`t deleted her number, call Jen and say, "Jen, you and me, back together."

DIAZ: A.J., my brother, no. No. That`s what he did in this article. He extended the olive branch. He did what Jon Gosselin should have done in the whole Jon and Kate thing. He was self-deprecating and he said, "I`m the one who was at fault. It`s me. It`s not Jen."

He`s calling her through "Rolling Stone" magazine. He is saying to her, "I am here for you." So the last thing he needs to do now is pick up the phone. He`s put it out there. Now, let`s wait to see how she responds to it.

HAMMER: Yes. The rest of us, you know, we use Twitter and Facebook and E- mail and the telephone. He uses "Rolling Stone" magazine. Nice. Well, speaking of Facebook, our SHOWBIZ Facebook page understandably just got so fired-up today. Explosive opinion about John`s remorse over Jennifer.

Look at this. Deb A. writing, "I really like Jennifer. I think she looks great and is a very talented actress. I think she can do better than John."

But Cathy P. disagrees, saying, "John should pursue her and they should get back together. He may be out of her league, but they sure make a good couple."

Jessica, off to you. What do you think? Do you think they should get back together or should John get a grip, move on with his life and let Jen do the same?

JESSICA CALLAN, NEWS DIRECTOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": I think he needs to get a life. Also he seems to do is talk about her, dwell on her, dwell on their time together. He`s the one who dumped her to begin with.

And now, he`s saying it`s the worst time in his life. He never got over it really and it`s like, enough already. He`s too much information, that guy.

HAMMER: Yes. But he`s remorseful. He feels terrible. And this is a fascinating interview in "Rolling Stone" that John gave. It was thick with regret and very intense. And quite frankly, there`s a lot of stuff in here I`d like to tell you but I can`t say it on TV if I want to keep my job, if you know what I`m saying.

DIAZ: Yes.

HAMMER: So he did go on to talk about why every time he meets another woman - and in this instance I`m going to read about a woman named Dimples. He says he can`t get Jen out of his mind.

Now, I`m going to read this from the article without all the profanity John uses. So please bear with me and try to follow along.

John says, "What would I be saying to Jen who I think is (EXPLETIVE DELETED) fantastic? If I said to her, "I don`t dislike you. In fact, I like you extremely well but I have to back out of this because it doesn`t arc over the horizon. This is not where I see myself for the rest of my life. This is not my ideal destiny. And then, I see myself (EXPLETIVE DELETED) Dimples. What does that say for my case?"

OK, Carlos. Jennifer, upon hearing this, would be bleeping mortified. What do you think?

DIAZ: Yes, very well bleeping put, A.J. You know what? This is just another way for him to communicate with Jennifer because you know in the relationship, there was those groupies hanging around.

And when you`re an artist like he is, you`re always telling your girlfriend, "The groupies don`t matter. The groupies don`t matter. I`m in love. I`m into you, Jen." And this is his way once again of saying to Jen, "OK. There are a thousand Dimples out there, but I don`t want Dimples. I want you, Jen. You are my future. You are my destiny."

HAMMER: I`ve got to see this Dimples. I really do. John says he broke it off with Jen in March after an on-and-off relationship. And while he can`t stop gabbing about it, Jen, on the other hand, has been stone silent about the whole thing.

In fact, you know, she`s busy showing off her killer legs and she`s been sparking major curiosity about what`s really going on with her and her latest co-star, Gerard Butler.

Well, look at this. We`ve got an advanced copy today of the brand-new issue of "People" magazine which reveals an extraordinary glimpse into what`s really going on in Jen`s world. The cover shouts right there in great alliteration, "She`s fun, flirty and 40."

They say Jen has no regrets unlike John and that she`s not actually looking for love. She just wants to have fun. Back at you, Carlos. It`s Looking to me like she is doing a good job of putting all of her John Mayer and Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn drama behind her.

DIAZ: And that`s exactly what she should be doing. She should be looking toward the future and not toward the past. And maybe that`s why John is expressing himself the way he is in "Rolling Stone" because she`s told him that. "Listen, I`m moving on. You`re part of my past, not part of my present, and definitely not part of my future."

HAMMER: Jessica, what do you think? The last few years, you know, all we`ve been hearing is "Poor Jen. Poor Jen." She even, at times, seemed a bit intense when it comes to relationships and talking about things.

But you know, looking at her, particularly when we saw her at the Golden Globes the other night, she is single - we think - she is happy and obviously, she`s beautiful. You know, poor Jen my foot is what I`m thinking right now. Has she finally kicked that rep in your mind?

CALLAN: Absolutely. She`s in the best shape of her life. She looks fantastic. She didn`t even win an award from the Golden Globes, but that`s all everyone is talking about. She completely stole the show, looks fabulous and just having fun.

HAMMER: Yes.

CALLAN: I mean, everything she did with Gerard Butler all night, you know, is very clever because they are in a film together coming out late this year. They`re very flirty. She`s very clever. She knew exactly what she was doing. And I think it`s a real message that she is saying, "I`m not poor Jen anymore. I`m fabulous."

HAMMER: Yes. It`s great. In fact, I remember I met Jen for the very first time when "Friends" was first taking off and this Jen reminds me of that Jen, just sort of out there having a really good time.

She was under intense scrutiny when she was on the red carpet for the Golden Globes wearing that whopper of a little black dress.

Wow. Now, we learned today there is outrage across the land, I tell you, after a "New York Times" blogger - you hear me - this is coming from the "New York Times." This blogger insinuated that Aniston has put on weight.

Listen to what he writes in this "Times" blog, "Maybe it`s just me, but I could have sworn that some of the ladies who showed up at the Golden Globes on Sunday had put on a little weight. You could definitely see the difference if you concentrated solely on upper arms."

Carlos, even though the blogger did applaud the curves, a lot of people took offense and they`re saying, once again, here you have women being unfairly scrutinized. What do you think? Is that what`s going on here?

DIAZ: Yes. Yes. Jennifer Aniston is so fat now that she split her dress all the way up to her hip. No, you know what? I think this blogger was completely self-serving. I think this blogger was trying to make a name for herself as far as, you know, trying to create headlines.

Let me say one thing right now. Jennifer Aniston looked beautiful at the Golden Globes. If you ask me, I love Jennifer as curvy as can be. I thought she looked great in season one and two of "Friends" when she was ultra-curvy.

But let me tell you, every actress that you see out there - and A.J., you know this. When you see them and they look thin on camera, when you see them in person, they look ultra-thin. So this blogger sends the exact wrong message out there. Let these curves happen on the red carpet.

HAMMER: Yes. Absolutely. And I, for one, at the risk of repeating myself think Jennifer couldn`t have looked any more beautiful when we saw her at the Golden Globes. Carlos Diaz, Jessica Callan, thank you both.

Well, let me throw this over to you. Here`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. I want you to think about this before you get on that computer, and then I want you to sound off - "John Mayer Not Over Jen: Should John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston get back together?"

Again, serious stuff, I want you to think first then vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

Tonight, defending Heidi Montag and her over-the-top plastic surgery.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MONTAG: Well, my main message is that beauty is really within and.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: But that may be your message, but that`s not the message you`re sending with all of this.

MONTAG: But I`m also in a different industry than they are.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, supermodel Janice Dickinson says Heidi`s reported 10 plastic surgeries in one day - hey, no big deal. Are you kidding me, Janice? Does Heidi have the right to go plastic? Or did she make the biggest mistake of her life? It`s a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT great debate.

And the octumom shows some octu-skin. You can run but you can`t hide from octumom in a bikini. What on earth was she thinking? Tell the neighbors put the kiddies to bed because here comes the octu-kini.

And can the ladies of "The View" replace Oprah? The blockbuster results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT are in. It`s a landslide, I tell you. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Scarlett Johansson puts herself on the auction block for Haiti relief. Alanis Morrisette, Dave Matthews Band dominate unreleased music for Haiti relief.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STANLEY TUCCI, ACTOR: The most important thing is to raise money and to make sure that the money gets to the proper - goes to the proper channels and gets to the proper people so that, you know, we know that often with charitable organizations, you have to really look at any charity that you give to.

You have to make sure that 100 percent of your dollar is going to go to help those people. And if you can go and do anything physically, that should be done.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, the top secret plan reportedly in the works for "The View" to replace "Oprah Winfrey Show" when it ends in September 2011.

Well, late today, we got the startling and overwhelming results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll. We asked if that`s a good idea or just plain crazy.

But first, defending Ms. Plastic. In a startling new interview out just today, supermodel Janice Dickinson is defending Heidi Montag`s dramatic plastic surgery transformation, saying, "So what? Who cares?"

The 54-year-old supermodel says that the 23-year-old Heidi was just a plain dowdy girl before her shocking overhaul. Janice, I know you`re no stranger to the plastic surgeon`s knife, but you can`t be serious, can you?

And speaking of mind-blowing makeovers, feast your eyes on this smoking hot bikini beauty - yes, it`s the octumom in a tiny bikini on the cover of "Star" magazine exactly one year after giving birth to eight babies. My eyes! The burning! Make it stop!

With me in New York tonight, Cooper Lawrence. She is a psychologist and author. And in Hollywood tonight is Wendy Walsh who is a relationship expert.

OK. So Heidi Montag has just admitted to "People" magazine that she had 10 - yes, 10 - cosmetic procedures in one day. Well, now, in a new interview with "Radar Online," Janice Dickinson is cheering on Heidi`s extreme makeover.

This is what she says, "So what? What`s the big deal? Heidi was a plain dowdy girl before the surgery. She`s a rural mountain girl that wasn`t blessed with great genes. I became a supermodel because of my genetics. I was lucky."

Well, Janice, to you I say, good for you. Now, Cooper, isn`t this exactly the kind of crack-pot thinking that makes a 23-year-old, who is beautiful, rearrange their face?

LAWRENCE: It`s an insane comment. First of all, Janice Dickinson didn`t start having surgery until she was older. Plus, she is a model. She has to hang clothes on herself and look a certain way.

Heidi Montag is 23. The fact that she`s 23 having all those surgeries, there`s something wrong with her. It`s not cool. It`s not something you should live up to. It`s not something to aspire to. And she`s not a model. What Now, she just looks like Jocelyn Wildenstein.

HAMMER: Now, Wendy Walsh, what do you think? I mean, I don`t see where Janice Dickinson should be sticking her nose in here and saying anything in defense of what she did. I think it sends a terrible message.

WENDY WALSH, RELATIONSHIP EXPERT: Well, you know, it`s Janice Dickinson. What do you expect?

HAMMER: Yes.

WALSH: But also - you know, I`m raising two daughters myself. Not only do I not want them to take Janice`s advice, but Heidi as a role model? And by the way, she wasn`t bad looking before. She was a beautiful young girl.

HAMMER: Exactly. You know, that`s exactly right. Well, I can tell you there are folks who are clearly not defending Heidi`s plastic surgeries. In fact, the ladies of "The View" - wow, they went out it again today over Heidi. Listen to Elisabeth Hasselbeck`s explosive message for Heidi and Janice. Roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HASSELBECK: If this is a sickness and we`re saying she has an addiction, why then are we so easy to just dismiss her intelligence? If this is truly a sickness, it`s a problem. You can`t say someone is stupid and ditzy because she happens to have highlights and has an issue here. Come on, she needs help.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Cooper, look, I`m no expert, but I look at this and I think Heidi does need help, doesn`t she?

LAWRENCE: Yes. It`s called body dysmorphia. It`s when you look in the mirror and think you look like one thing but you really look like something else. And she`s a great example of that. So this really is a problem. There is something wrong with her at 23 because she was beautiful before. I agree with Wendy.

HAMMER: All right. Are you ready? Because here it comes, another eye- popping transformation that we have to tell you about today - "Star" magazine revealing today this jaw-dropping new picture of the octumom in a tiny bikini.

This is exactly a year since the octumom gave birth to her eight babies and, of course, a million headlines. Now, take a look at this picture from TMZ. This is the octumom before she gave birth. And look at her now.

Now, look, I applaud her for getting herself back in shape, terrific. But Wendy, I look at this picture. I look at the way she`s posing and all I see is a narcissist. What do you see?

WALSH: Well, we certainly have seen pieces of what could be a narcissistic personality disorder in her before. But I think the main thing is, why should anyone applaud this? Why should it be necessary after having one baby, two babies or eight babies to look like a hottie a year later?

I mean, come on. What`s wrong with being a strong successful nurturing mother who is taking some time to sit under a tree and breast feed and not be out there buying Victoria`s Secret? I don`t understand why this gets applause.

HAMMER: Yes. What do you think? Cooper, help me out, because as a guy, I have no clue. Are women going to be cheering her on and say, "Yay, Octumom. All right"?

LAWRENCE: Of course not. What they should be saying is it takes a lot of discipline to look like that. Let`s take some of the discipline and raise your children with it.

HAMMER: Yes.

LAWRENCE: Let`s use that towards making those kids` lives well.

HAMMER: Well, let`s use our time wisely right now and let`s move on. I have breaking news about good friends over at the "The View and the brand- new report that the ladies could actually replace Oprah`s show.

Now, when we asked you in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "When Oprah Leaves: Should the ladies of `The View` replace her?" I was pretty surprised at how overwhelming these results are. They were just handed to me.

Look at this - 13 percent said yes; a whopping 87 percent said no, this is not a good idea. Wendy, are you surprised that people believe that even the five ladies of "The View" and all the success that they`ve had, can`t replace the one and only Oprah Winfrey?

WALSH: I don`t think it`s that. I think that audiences don`t like any kind of change. That`s why in late night shows, they barely move the couch an inch. People have a real aversion to change even when it`s good for them. And I think this could be good for many people. They are just feeling grief about the loss of Oprah.

HAMMER: Well, there could be that. Cooper, what do you think? Very quickly - I actually thought it was a good fit and sort of a clever idea.

LAWRENCE: It`s a terrible idea. The noise in the morning belongs in the morning. Oprah is like a nice glass of wine in the afternoon. Don`t change it. This is what was wrong with NBC late night. Don`t change. Leave it how it is.

HAMMER: Well, I`m full of terrible ideas. I don`t exactly what is going on. But all the same.

LAWRENCE: But you don`t program the TV.

HAMMER: Cooper Lawrence, I do appreciate you being here. Well, who knows? Maybe we would see success if I did. Wendy Walsh, appreciate you being here as well.

Tonight, the fascinating link between Britney Spears and MTV`s "Jersey Shore." Yes, you heard me right. I can tell you it doesn`t involve any panty-less partying, even kissing Madonna, although you never know with the "Jersey Shore" gang. It is the shocking Britney Spears-"Jersey Shore" connection. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Here`s comes the "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

TEXT: Britney Spears renews deal to be the face of Candies. "Essence" to honor Mary J. Blige for 15 years as the queen of hip-hop.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Tonight, the shocking connection between Britney Spears and MTV`s massive hit reality show, "Jersey Shore." Now, no one from "Jersey Shore" has kissed Madonna. Snooki`s not getting together with K. Fed.

But they have hired someone in Britney`s camp hoping to mimic Britney Spears` massive career. MTV`s "Jersey Shore" star Pauly Del Vecchio - of course, he`s known to "Jersey Shore" fans as Pauly D - has reportedly hired Britney`s manager, Larry Rudolph.

Now, Pauly is a DJ as you know, if you watch the show. So it looks like he`s going for some much bigger gigs with Britney`s manager on board. See how that all works out.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT teaming up with the recording academy to bring you an explosive music showdown. Everybody`s wondering who`s going to take home album of the year at the Grammys. Is it going to be Beyonce, the Black-Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Dave Mathews Band or will it be Taylor Swift?

Let the debate begin. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Brooke Anderson sat down with a team of industry experts for a fired-up debate.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: I want to get right to it. The most coveted award of the Grammys every year - Album of the Year. We`ve got huge names here. Let`s take a look - "I am Sasha Fierce" from Beyonce; The Black Eyed Peas with "E.N.D." Lady Gaga has "Fame." We`ve also got "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King" by Dave Matthews Band. Finally, the phenom that is Taylor Swift with her disc, "Fearless."

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Now, Taylor Swift has eight Grammy nominations. Only 20 years old. But Beyonce actually leads the pack with 10 nominations. And we have seen Taylor and Beyonce really go head-to-head a lot recently.

Taylor actually beat Beyonce at the People`s Choice Awards, also the MTV Music Video Awards. Are we looking at an album of the year showdown between these two? Marc, what do you think? Even though I know that Grammys don`t depend on fan favorites or success on the charts, are we looking at a clash of the musical titans?

MARC MALKIN, SENIOR WRITER/COLUMNIST, "E! ONLINE": I don`t think we`re going to see a clash so much. I think it`s Taylor`s to win. I mean, there`s no - who else could possibly beat her in this category in terms of her and Beyonce? I think they should get on stage and do a duet together and then settle it.

ANDERSON: That`s a great idea. And you`re nodding your head yes. Do you agree that it is Taylor`s to win? I know she had the best selling album of 2009 - 2.6 million copies.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I do - I think that, you know, Beyonce, her "Single Ladies" came out in `08. And her album just missed the cutoff for the last Grammys. I think people feel like it`s kind of dated. It`s kind of old. I mean, "Single Ladies," of course, was a huge song and the album did well. But I think.

ANDERSON: It`s been around for a while.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

MALKIN: And the Beyonce album has been quite just - for 10 years, it feels like I`ve been listening to "Single Ladies."

ANDERSON: You can`t get it out of your head. But I want to talk quickly about Lady Gaga. Shirley, is she a little too edgy to win for Grammy voters maybe?

SHIRLEY HALPERIN, MUSIC JOURNALIST: I think so. I think she might still be too much of a new entity. But I think this category is really about the veterans versus the newcomers. You know, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are considered the newcomers. The Davids, if you will, and the Goliaths are the Black-Eyed Peas and Beyonce and Dave Mathews.

But you know, Beyonce has never won in a category outside of R & B. So I don`t know that this is going to be the album for to do it for her even though it`s fantastic. I think it`s actually going to go to Dave Mathews.
