(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ tonight is right there with Kate Gosselin for her big debut on "Dancing with the Stars."
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting today and every day from New York City.
ANDERSON: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood.
And today, Sandra Bullock humiliated again by her husband`s cheating. This should have been a fabulous day for Sandra Bullock. The DVD release today of the movie that won her an Oscar, a big premiere in Berlin. But instead, it was a day of more humiliation for Sandra. And we are about to show and tell you why.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with brand-new reports and revelations about the tattooed stripper who said she had a passionate affair with Bullock`s husband. And it all made for big news breaking today.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
SANDRA BULLOCK, ACTRESS: Don`t you dare lie to me.
ANDERSON (voice-over): Today, Sandra Bullock`s movie, "The Blind Side," for which she won an Oscar just two weeks ago, is being released on DVD. But instead of celebrating this new milestone, Sandra Bullock is in hiding, privately dealing with new fallout from allegations that her husband, Jesse James, had an affair with a tattoo-covered stripper.
NINA PARKER, TMZ: There`s just a lot of public inquiry on her personal life which has to be really hard to deal with.
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you with each tawdry new headline and each new tabloid interview with friends of her husband`s alleged mistress - -
MARY GUSMAN, FRIEND OF JESSE JAMES` ALLEGED MISTRESS: She was under the impression that he was going to leave his wife.
ANDERSON: The humiliation of Sandra Bullock is hitting new lows, with no end in sight. Today, TMZ is reporting an ominous new sign for Bullock`s nearly five-year marriage to Jesse James.
PARKER: What we`re told is Sandra Bullock`s people are shopping around for lawyers.
ANDERSON: But when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT contacted Bullock`s people, they denied the superstar was lawyering up. Her rep tells us, quote, "She has not met with any lawyers." Whether or not they are planning to divorce, this celebrity couple has definitely been rocked by this cheating scandal.
Tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee tells "In Touch" magazine that she had thank she had a steamy affair with Jesse James while Bullock was away shooting "The Blind Side."
This new video provided by TMZ apparently shows McGee plying one of her many reported trades, stripping at a gentlemen`s club in San Diego. And today, a waitress at the same strip club where this video was taken is coming forward with an exclusive, albeit second-hand allegation that Jesse James led his mistress to believe he was going to leave his superstar wife.
GUSMAN: He said that they were separate and that they were going to become public with their separation after the filming of her movie.
ANDERSON: Today, "Radar Online" posted this interview Mary Gusman who says she is a friend and coworker of Michelle McGee. Gusman says McGee told her she only pursued an affair with James because she thought his marriage to Sandra Bullock was over.
GUSMAN: That was very exciting for her, because she was really - really, really just eager to get to know him better.
ANDERSON: James hasn`t explicitly admitted an affair, but issued a public apology to Bullock for his, quote, "poor judgment." Meanwhile, Bullock reportedly has moved out of their California home.
PARKER: There haven`t been any pictures or video of Sandra right now. She is definitely laying low.
ANDERSON: And a week after pulling out of the London premiere of "The Blind Side," SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell that you Bullock just pulled out of this week`s "Blind Side" premiere in Berlin.
That should have been a victorious homecoming for Bullock, who spent her childhood in Germany. Now, it`s just another casualty of a personal crisis.
GUSMAN: I think Michelle is sorry for other people getting hurt.
ANDERSON: And when "Radar Online" asked if McGee is sorry for the pain Sandra Bullock is going through, McGee`s friend had a shocking answer.
GUSMAN: Of course, you know she does feel for what Sandra must be going through and feeling because on some level, Michelle feels it, too.
ANDERSON: Michelle McGee, feeling the same pain that Sandra Bullock is feeling? Those watching this beloved superstar experience this public humiliation may disagree.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: It is just heartbreaking to watch Sandra Bullock to go through this ordeal. Coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Sandra`s humiliation, just how is she dealing with all of this?
HAMMER: All right. Just when we thought we had heard it all, there was a new shocker today about the doctor who was with Michael Jackson the day he died. And it comes from a Jackson aide who called 911 as Jackson lay dying in his mansion.
The aide says Dr. Conrad Murray, who is about to go on trial for involuntary manslaughter, may have actually stopped trying to save Jackson`s life so he could conceal crucial evidence. Talk about a bombshell.
Joining me today from Atlanta, criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor, B.J. Bernstein. B.J. is also on the cover of Atlanta`s "Super Lawyer" magazine. Look at that. It will make you wear a cape, though, B.J. Also in Atlanta, Ryan Smith, who is the host with Tru TV`s legal network, "In Session."
I`ve got to tell you, I really find this claim deeply disturbing. And I`m sure I`m not alone about this. Jackson aide, Alberto Alvarez is reportedly quoted as telling police that Dr. Murray stopped giving CPR to Jackson so he could gather drug vials that were scattered around the room and stuff them in a bag.
B.J. Bernstein, let me talk to you. We are talking about hiding potentially critical evidence. How serious could this be?
B.J. BERNSTEIN, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: It could be very serious. And this is going to be a strong part of what the prosecution`s going to try to argue in this case is that although he is a medical doctor, that the way he behaved immediately after emergency suggested he wasn`t actually taking care of Michael but rather covering up, having concern for what he administered. So the prosecution is going to really focus on this.
HAMMER: Yes and if this really happened, how reprehensible. Now, Dr. Murray`s defense team is fighting back in a big way today. They are actually accusing prosecutors of leaking this new information to pressure the defense into revealing its strategy ahead of time.
Ryan Smith from the legal network "In Session," let me get your take. Should we be at all surprised that something this shocking would leak out just before trial? What does that say to you?
RYAN SMITH, HOST, "IN SESSION": No, it doesn`t shock me at all. It says that they are trying to possibly provoke a response here, because it`s obviously just so shocking. His job is to care for his patient first, not to the worry about what`s in the room or anything like that so when you release this, it forces them to respond and do something. And they have got to do something quick, because this is spinning out of control in terms of publicity.
HAMMER: Yes. Truly unbelievable. All right, I want to move on to another court battle that`s heating up today. Oprah Winfrey is getting ready for a trial that starts next Monday.
You know Oprah`s lawyers are working fast and furious right now as they get ready today. Oprah is being sued for defamation by the former headmistress of Oprah`s all-girls school in Africa.
Now, Oprah fired her in 2007 after girls at the school claim that a dorm matron sexually abused them. Oprah later publicly criticized the headmistress for how she handled the whole scandal. Now, the woman is suing Oprah.
B.J. Bernstein, from what has been made public so far, do you think Oprah should be worried? I mean, she`s got some big lawyers.
BERNSTEIN: Well, it is always difficult to tell what a jury is going to do, because this isn`t like a straightforward situation where Oprah said something directly this woman.
Rather, what the judge let go to the jury is the situation where Oprah first said, "Anybody who hurt these children, you know, or harmed any child in my school is going to have consequences and be in trouble."
And then later, she said, within the same conversation, she had lost confidence in the headmistress and then, of course, she was dismissed. So, it is by implication. And so the question for a jury is actually going to be a tough one.
HAMMER: Yes.
BERNSTEIN: Is that enough to really make you liable for defamation?
HAMMER: I`m actually surprise it had has come to this. And Oprah will have to be there in the courtroom every day starting next Monday when the trial begins. Adding to the drama, we did learn today that several of the schoolgirls who claimed they were sexually abuse will reportedly testify on Oprah`s behalf.
Obviously, it would be a whole lot easier on everybody if this is settled out of court. Ryan, I`ll thinking, Oprah obviously very confident in here. And she`s going to go into this and see it through so her good name remains undamaged. Do you see it going that way?
SMITH: Absolutely. I see it going that way. You know what, A.J.? The big defense of defamation is the truth. So if she can prove that this woman was not really qualified to do her job and did a lot of things wrong other than particularly this, then she`s got a really good case.
And remember, the comments that are being alleged here are very general ones. She can terminate her probably for a bunch of different reasons. And if it is a breach of contract thing, that`s one thing if her contract said she couldn`t be fired for a certain reason. But here, general statements - very hard to prove.
HAMMER: Yes.
SMITH: And Oprah might have a lot in her basket to be able to say this woman didn`t do her job.
HAMMER: We will be watching. B.J. Bernstein, Ryan Smith, thanks, guys.
ANDERSON: A.J., I know this trial is going to be a big challenge for Oprah. And I can tell you there`s another challenge involving Oprah today. Rosie O`Donnell`s attempts to fill Oprah`s shoes.
Let me tell you, these are some pretty successful shoes to fill. So it is a great debate today. Is Rosie the new Oprah?
ANDERSON: You know, Kate Gosselin, not the new dancing queen, though I thought she did OK for her first time. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there as Kate made her debut on "Dancing with the Stars." A lot of people are asking, was it a disaster? And Kate responds to criticism that doing the show is bad for her eight kids.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KATE GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR: I have eight kids to raise, essentially, you know, by myself. And the fact is, I`ve got to do what counts. Regardless of the criticism, I know what I have to do and I know why I`m doing it. It`s for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: And big news today about that Sarah Palin reality show. Will she get the million dollars plus per episode she is reportedly asking for?
HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: California files $45,000 tax lien against Anna Nicole Smith`s estate. Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush split - again!
ANDERSON: I`m really excited to tell you that beginning this coming Monday, March 29, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern and we`re still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show at 11:00 p.m., too. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Sarah Palin`s shocking reality show deal. Brand-new reports today that Palin and the Discovery Channel are reportedly this close to inking a deal to put Palin`s reality series about Alaska on TV.
But it isn`t going to be cheap. Palin is reportedly demanding $1.2 million per episode. That`s lot of reality.
And welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
ANDERSON: A.J. No word on whether or not Sarah Palin`s daughter, Bristol, will appear on her extensive reality show. But Bristol has her own TV project in the works.
Bristol will appear on the controversial ABC family show, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" which deals with teens and sex. One of the stars of the show is here with me right now in Hollywood. I`m really excited.
You might know her better as the star of the hit `90s sitcom, "Blossom," Mayim Bialik. Mayim, great to see you.
MAYIM BIALIK, ACTRESS: Thank you.
ANDERSON: Great to have you here.
BIALIK: Nice to be here.
ANDERSON: And the show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" is not without controversy. And here now, Bristol Palin set to appear on the show. Considering the controversy surrounding her and her mother, how did you react when you heard she was going to be on it?
BIALIK: The show has a lot of kind of inherent controversy. So I actually think it`s really - it`s unusual, but it`s nice. I think it`s really nice to show this is an issue that`s not just for the show but actually occurs in our country.
ANDERSON: This is her cause. She is an open book. So I feel it is kind of a natural fit. And it seems completely normal for her to appear on the show.
BIALIK: I didn`t get see her on set, but yes, I heard about it.
ANDERSON: Filmed a cameo, right?
BIALIK: Yes. And we were filming kind of out of order so often, I`m kind of in and out in one day. But I don`t always get to see everybody on the cast.
ANDERSON: The magic of television. Speaking of that, I cannot believe, Mayim, it has been 15 years since you were the star of one of my favorite TV shows, "Blossom."
You were a child star. You were young and you were famous like so many child stars were at the time. But here you are. You survived - not only survive, you thrived. You`ve got a beautiful family, two beautiful sons, a PhD in neuroscience. You`re handling your life. You`re in control of it.
How did you manage to avoid the pitfalls of fame and the tragic lives that so many others experience, like Corey Haim, like - like also Mackenzie Phillips, Dana Plato?
BIALIK: I don`t know that there is one formula that I can give for how I turned out this way and other people did not. I can say that it`s my parents, that my parents were strict and other people`s parents weren`t strict.
But I don`t know that it is that simple. I come from a traditional home and education is emphasized. My grandparents were immigrants. But again, I think it is hard to find a formula.
ANDERSON: Yes.
BIALIK: I think the business is hard. It`s hard to be constantly told you`re the best and have money thrown at you and things and it`s hard for anyone. But you know, you find kids in all walks of life who have trouble, not just celebrity kids. It`s just the cameras are on us.
ANDERSON: It`s true. It`s true. Well, "Different Strokes" star Todd Bridges stopped by the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT studios. And he said it is the parenting that makes the difference, that kids can avoid trouble if they have good parenting. What do you think? Do you agree?
BIALIK: I would like to think that is true but I don`t think it is that simple. I think it is always important to have a great relationship with your kids or with your parents.
But I think it really - it damages the memory of people like Corey Haim, because I wasn`t in his home and I don`t know what it was like. And I think, yes, it`s important to emphasize being close with your kids and making them do chores, even if they are making millions of dollars. But the fact is I don`t have the formula and if I did -
ANDERSON: There`s no secret.
BIALIK: I would have gotten it from someone.
ANDERSON: There`s no secret. Very quickly. If your son said, "Mom, I want to be an actor. I want to be on TV," what would you say?
BIALIK: I would say when you`re 18 years old, I`m really happy for you to go pursue that.
ANDERSON: And you can do it and do it well and I wish you luck.
BIALIK: Exactly.
ANDERSON: That is a really great point. You`re a wonderful mother.
BIALIK: Thank you.
ANDERSON: Smart cookie, PhD in neuroscience.
BIALIK: Thank you.
ANDERSON: Really great to see you. Thank you so much for being here.
BIALIK: Thanks for having me.
ANDERSON: Mayim Bialik, and besides starring on "The Secret Life of an American Teenager" when it returns to ABC Family in June, we also love watching Mayim on "Till Death" Sunday night on Fox.
HAMMER: As we move on. I don`t know how Sandra Bullock is dealing with all this humiliation. Her husband allegedly cheats on her with a tattooed stripper. More sordid details are coming out on what should be a happy day for Sandra.
The "Blind Side" is out on DVD today. That`s the movie she won her Oscar for. But instead of rejoicing, there are reports today that Sandra is speaking with divorce lawyers. How is she dealing with all this?
Brand-new secrets just revealed about the new "Sex and the City" movie. That`s coming up.
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT right there as Kate Gosselin made her debut on "Dancing with the Stars." She takes on people who are slamming her as a bad mom for doing the show.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
K. GOSSELIN: I have eight kids to raise, essentially, you know, by myself. And the fact is, I`ve got to do what counts, regardless of the criticism. I know what I have to do and I know why I`m doing it. It is for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views. And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Ben Affleck will present Matt Damon with American Cinematheque Award on Saturday. Mariah Carey`s "Angels Advocate" star-studded remix album has been canceled.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Jennifer Love Hewitt admits she just doesn`t like to date. On the "Today" show this morning, the "Ghost Whisperer" star who just wrote a book about dating says she prefers relationships to dating around.
What`s even more surprising about this brand-new revelation is that Jennifer has been called a serial dater. So, what`s the deal?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, ACTRESS: I think I`m better in relationships than I am with, like, going out with one guy on a Monday and then another one on a Wednesday and another one on a Saturday. It feels weird to me, so I tend to just sort of spend time with people and have boyfriends versus dates.
MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: So you really don`t like to date ultimately?
HEWITT: I don`t, no. I don`t think anybody really likes to date.
VIEIRA: You just wrote a whole book on dating.
(CROSSTALK)
HEWITT: Trying to make it easier. I don`t think anybody truly enjoys dating.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Jen`s a good sport though, because she let her ex, "Ghost Whisperer" co-star Jamie Kennedy, write a chapter in her book about big butts.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HEWITT: You know, what I like to call the "badonkadonk(ph) chapter" about how - what men really look for in the backside of a girl. And it was just a fun chapter. I thought it was important for women to know from a guy`s perspective what they really think about us.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, most of our Facebook fans think that Sandra Bullock`s Jesse James is a butthead for allegedly cheating on her. A lot of people really fired up right now on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page.
Summer P. has this advice for Sandy, "You just have to be strong and move on and try not to choose the same kind of man next time."
But Brenda P. hints that Sandra should have seen this coming, "This is his third marriage. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Sandra, move on. You got a big life ahead of you."

The startling results of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s exclusive poll just in today. Who offends you the most, Jesse James, Tiger Woods or John Edwards? I`ve got to tell you, everyone here really surprised by this one.
And we were right there as Kate Gosselin made her debut on "Dancing with the Stars." And Kate`s fighting back against critics who say that she is a bad mom for doing the show.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
K. GOSSELIN: I could go back to work as a nurse but I wouldn`t see my kids any more than I do now. Regardless of the criticism, I know what I have to do and I know why I`m doing it. It is for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

Rosie`s brand new challenge today to fill Oprah`s shoes. The SHOWBIZ great debate, is Rosie the new Oprah?
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s one-on-one with Kate Gosselin. Kate tells us all about her big dancing debut and tells her critics, back off.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
K. GOSSELIN: I have eight kids to raise, essentially, you know, by myself. And the fact is, I`ve got to do what counts. Regardless of the criticism, I know what I have to do and I know why I`m doing it. It`s for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Plus, more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting today and every day from New York City.
ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And today, Sandra humiliated.
HAMMER: Yes. Brooke, more graphic revelations roll out today about Sandra Bullock and her husband`s outrageous supposed affair with a tattooed stripper. Today should be one of the happiest days of Sandra`s life.
The movie that won her an Oscar rolls out today on DVD. But instead of reveling in her success, Sandra is MIA. She has canceled yet another premiere for her movie, "The Blind Side."
This is raising a big question everyone is asking today, how in the world is Sandra Bullock possibly dealing with all of this humiliation?
Also, the late-breaking results today of our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll, when we asked in our question of the day, which cheating husband offends you the most, Jesse James, Tiger Woods or John Edwards?
Joining me today in Hollywood is Jessica Weiner, who is an author and creator of the self-esteem Web site, "JessWeiner.com." Today, in New York, Dr. Judy Kuriansky, who is a clinical psychologist and author of this fine book, "The Idiot`s Guide to a Healthy Relationship".
As I said, today should be huge for Sandra Bullock. The DVD for "The Blind Side" - of course, that`s the movie she won her first Oscar for. It is out on DVD. You can`t turn on a TV without seeing the commercial for the release.
But you also can`t get away from all those brand-new scandalous claims about her husband`s alleged affair like this interview today on "Radar Online," where the best friend of Jesse`s alleged mistress makes really hurtful claims. Take a look at this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
GUSMAN: She was under the impression that he was going to leave his wife.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Did Jesse tell Michelle that he and Sandra were getting separated?
GUSMAN: He said that they were separated and that they were going to become public with their separation after filming of the movie.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: OK. Dr. Judy, let me start with you. I know Sandra Bullock is a strong woman. She will, at some point, get through this. But how in the world is Sandra possibly dealing with all the humiliation that has to come along with this?
DR. JUDY KURIANSKY, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST AND AUTHOR: I would have to suspect, A.J., from knowing so many women who have been through this that she would be crying her eyes out and being mad as hell about him and thinking how is she going to get over this in the public eye and her own self-esteem because she was so made to look foolish and thinking she was going to adopt his kids.
So all of this is going to make her mad, sad and think how is she going to get out of this.
HAMMER: At the risk of repeating myself - well, if this affair wasn`t humiliating enough, it`s only gotten worse as more and more of these outrageous claims and details of it revealed today, like - can we see this, Charles?
HAMMER: Brand-new video on TMZ of Jesse`s alleged mistress stripping. Yes, the stuff is out there. Jess Weiner, what is she going to need to do to get over this kind of humiliation?
JESS WEINER, SELF-ESTEEM EXPERT: You know, A.J. - I don`t know. I think our collective hearts are all breaking for Sandra Bullock, because we watched her at such a high moment and then we watched her fall so suddenly and abruptly.
But none of us are in their homes. We don`t know what is going on. And I think what she could do to focus on her own confidence is to not - you know, this is a shameful act that Jesse did. He not only betrayed her. He betrayed his children.
And so, I think if she can do her best with her confidence to not take on that shame, A.J., and make that about anything she did wrong. Because a cheater is a cheater because of them, not because the person that they are cheating on. And the real loser here are the children involved.
HAMMER: Yes. Some sound advice, too. Here is the thing though, as they move forward, personally, I can`t imagine Sandra staying with this louse especially with the new humiliations that are out today.
You know more are likely to surface. What do you think, Dr. Judy? Is there any way that Sandra could or should salvage this marriage?
KURIANSKY: I would love to say, A.J., that she can save the marriage. My goodness, as a psychologist, I would try to help her to do it. But I don`t think it is in her best interest now.
He has gone - he has done the ultimate in humiliation, when she should be at her height and he should be adoring her, to absolutely humiliate her.
And on top of all the affair and with this tattooed woman and this - the porn star and then the posing with Nazis, there`s deeper problems here with him. That is such a deep bad boy that I don`t think he is going to be changed and I would say she needs to get out.
HAMMER: Yes, let me bring Brooke Anderson in. Brooke, keeping in mind everything that Dr. Judy just said, and I know you, like me, are all for people trying to work things out, but wow, what a mountain to climb.
ANDERSON: Certainly is a mountain to climb. And no doubt the guy is a louse. But we don`t know all the details. And like Jessica said, we are not in their home. We are not in their marriage.
I do believe in the institution of marriage, but I also believe in upholding your vows. And I would never advocate or encourage someone to stay in a loveless, unhappy marriage. Life is just too short.
HAMMER: Yes.
ANDERSON: That said, if these two reach a point - and it is going to take a whole lot of time. But if they eventually reach a point where they want to try to salvage it, want to try to work at it and make a fresh start, then so be it. It is up to them how they proceed.
HAMMER: Well, here is the thing. Even though we don`t know all of the details and we are not in their home, Jesse James has still become the new face of slimy extramarital affairs, whether he wanted that title or not.
But quite frankly, he joins the ranks of some rather well-established cheating husbands. And that brings us to the much-anticipated results today in our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll, when we ask in our question of the day, "Celebrity Cheating Scandals: Who offends you the most?"
Take a look at these results. Nineteen percent of you voted for Jesse James. Nineteen percent for Tiger Woods. But it`s a whopping 62 percent going for John Edwards. John Edwards wins. John Edwards wins. Not the victory he was imagining, I think, when he was running for the White House. Jess, did they get it right?
WEINER: You know, in my opinion, they are all really stinky, A.J. But I think John Edwards - I think we - why he may come out the biggest loser in this is because he was also running for public office and made his life fully public in that way.
And then, clearly, he had his wife struggling with cancer. I mean, he has the soap opera story to trump all soap opera stories. But regardless again, I can`t say this enough. We forget we talk about these guys as losers and cheaters and they are people`s fathers.
And I just know that later on - I hope when their kids, Tiger`s kids and John`s kids and Jesse`s kids are going through all this media and they`re seeing the way that we are talking about them, that somebody out there is saying, "Listen, we know that you are probably hurting, too, and probably just as confused as everyone else is.
HAMMER: Well, it`s not all bad news. I`m happy to sit here and tell you that we actually possibly have some good news for Sandra and for Tiger`s wife Elin, and even for John Edwards` wife, Elizabeth.
They could, if they wanted to, possibly make some big bucks off of their husbands` infidelities. Let me explain. This is fascinating to me. One North Carolina woman just won a whopping $9 million from her husband`s mistress for, quote, "alienation of affection."
This is true. There an old North Carolina law and it has paid out in a big way. You`ve got to listen to what the winning woman said this morning on "Good Morning, America" about this. Roll that, Charles.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CINDY SHACKLEFORD, WON $9 MILLION FROM HUSBAND`S MISTRESS: My main message is to all those women out there that might have their eyes on some guy that is married to not come between anybody. As long as a couple is still living together as man and wife, lay off.
Yes. As far as - I`m looking at this, I`m thinking the precedent has absolutely been set. Dr. Judy, what do you think? I mean, it`s maybe just a pittance for somebody like Sandra Bullock.
But should, you know, Sandra, should Elizabeth, should they all - Elizabeth, should she sue the pants off Rielle Hunter? I`m sure Rielle has a pair of pants.
KURIANSKY: Well, you know the phrase, "Don`t get mad, get even," so this is a way to look for somebody to blame. However, I have to say this is also a warning to women. Do not fall for this line that "I`m leaving my wife."
HAMMER: Yes.
KURIANSKY: This is what - and do not ever get in the way of any other woman`s man until it is totally, totally over. But this is what women need to learn.
HAMMER: Sound advice. I`ve got to end it there but Dr. Judy Kuriansky, Jess Weiner, I thank you both for being here.
ANDERSON: Just in today, Oprah is moving out. Rosie could be moving right in. This is just huge. Rosie O`Donnell`s challenge to fill Oprah Winfrey`s shoes. It is the SHOWBIZ great debate - is Rosie the new Oprah?
Plus, was Kate`s dancing a disaster? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there with Kate Gosselin for her "Dancing with the Stars" debut. Major fallout on whether or not Kate being on the show is bad news for her kids, but Kate strikes back.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
K. GOSSELIN: I could go back to work as a nurse but I wouldn`t see my kids any more than I do now. Regardless of the criticism, I know what I have to do. And I know why I`m doing it. It`s for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Plus, secrets about the new "Sex and the City" movie. They have been so secretive about this one. But I`ve got the scoop on new details revealed just today.
HAMMER: And I`ve got the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Gisele Bundchen takes her newborn son to Brazil to visit her family. Official roster for "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" revealed.

(VIDEO CLIP OF "SCREAM")
(SCREAMING)
HAMMER: I certainly hope Neve Campbell has had enough time to rest her lungs because she going to need them for "Scream 4." Yes, Neve, Courtney and David Arquette and director Wes Craven are reportedly teaming up once again to scare the pants off of us.
Blows my mind. "Scream" originally came out 14 years ago. "Scream 4" set to hit theaters next spring. I still have the mask, Brooke.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Kate Gosselin`s fancy footwork revealed.
ANDERSON: A.J., the reality show mother of eight finally made her debut on "Dancing with the Stars." And I think Kate gave it her best shot. She did well for her first time, I think, but definitely room for a little improvement.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there and we spoke with Kate about all the criticism and the controversies. But even today, people were still slamming her for doing the show in the first place.
And speaking of shows, Rosie confirmed today that she is coming back to daytime TV with her own talk show. I can`t wait to tell you about Rosie O`Donnell`s unbelievable Oprah challenge today.
Joining me today in Hollywood, Ken Baker who is an executive news editor for "E!" And in New York, Michelle Fizer, who is an entertainment journalist.
Ken, Michelle, I have to begin with Kate Gosselin debuting on "Dancing with the Stars." SHOWBIZ TONIGHT right there as Kate danced the very Viennese Waltz with her partner, Tony Dovolani. It was to the great Billy Joel song, "Always a Woman." I thought she did OK, but the judges, not so much. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You looked nervous. It didn`t come out and just dance with any fluidity. So you`ve got to get over that nervousness and just come out and enjoy the experience.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The technique was terrible, but you have to learn - no, it is true, it was terrible. You have to learn to perform, assume a character, because it looked like Tony was pushing a shopping cart around the floor.
CARRIE ANN INABA, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" JUDGE: You have never trained for something like this. I really am impressed.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Kind words there is from Carrie Ann Inaba. Ken, are you going to be kind? How do you think she did?
KEN BAKER, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, "E!": Well, I have to say that when you`re compared to a shopping cart and it`s a dance competition -
ANDERSON: Not good.
BAKER: It is not a good thing. No, not good at all. And look, I`m not a dance expert. But you know, I have to tell you this though, I think where she really fell off the cliff was just her styling.
She doesn`t - first of all, she doesn`t even look like Kate Gosselin. Her hair - have you ever seen those pioneer kind of shows, like "Daniel Boone," stuff like that. It looked like someone actually put a raccoon pelt on her head and she`s out on the dance floor. It`s like ridiculous. It makes me want her mullet back. But really -
ANDERSON: No.
BAKER: honestly, I think that she really is trying too hard. We love the Kate Gosselin from "Jon and Kate Plus 8." She is a mom of eight. She is from rural Pennsylvania. She is trying too hard. I do think that she`s going to (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
ANDERSON: She`s got to make some money, Ken. She has got to make some money. She has got to feed those mouths. Michelle, the hair wasn`t that bad, was it?
MICHELLE FIZER, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: No, no.
BAKER: Oh, please.
FIZER: I liked her original short cut.
BAKER: You like the hair?
FIZER: Her short cut.
BAKER: Don`t say you like the hair.
FIZER: No, I like the original short cut better for this. And I think she will go back to it. Look, she has represented for all the moms of multiples -
BAKER: Please -
FIZER: And I know they are all living vicariously through her. She has got to get a little edgier. But you know, I have done a little ballroom dancing before and it is not that easy to make it look like you`re a natural, you know.
ANDERSON: Yes and who wouldn`t be nervous in that setting? Well, she is not only getting slammed for her dancing today. People still slamming her for doing the show in the first place because of her eight children.
So right after her "Dancing" debut, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT caught up with Kate and asked her what she makes of all the criticism. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
K. GOSSELIN: I`ve got to do what counts. And I could go back to work as a nurse but I wouldn`t see my kids any more than I do now. And so, I do feel like it is unfair. And regardless of the criticism, I know what I have to do and I know why I`m doing it. It`s for my kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: OK, Ken, you`re right. The hair is not my favorite. But she does make a great point of having to do something to make a living. So Ken, do you think that all this criticism could actually help Kate in the running because people do love to follow their favorite villain.
BAKER: Well, I think she`s going to come back. I think she`ll survive for a few weeks because she does have a big fan base. Look, people did stick around. The ratings actually went up as the show last night wore on.
They had their biggest audience in the last half hour when Kate danced. And I think because she does have a fan base, people are sympathetic. But she had the third lowest score last night.
And you don`t win "Dancing with the Stars" on sympathy points. You win on talent and performance. So she is going to have to step it up if she really, truly wants to get really far into the competition.
ANDERSON: Yes. She`s got to do some improvements there. But that is what the show is all about. I`ve got to move now to Rosie O`Donnell`s brand-new comments about her new daytime talk show. It`s making headlines today.
Rosie has just revealed she is coming back to daytime TV in the fall of 2011. That`s when Oprah is ending her show. Michelle, can Rosie fill Oprah`s shoes?
FIZER: No, no. Nobody can replace Oprah. But if Rosie is coming back, I really suggest that she gets a new nickname. The "Queen of Mean" is not going to work. She is going to have to have something that`s all- encompassing, like "Rosie-prah" or something that reminds us of the whole Oprah effect, you know. I love her. I love the original (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
ANDERSON: Yes. Maybe so. Good point. Ken, what do you think? Michelle doesn`t think she can replace Oprah. Your thoughts?
BAKER: Well, first of all, it should be "Roprah," right? Come on.
(CROSSTALK)
BAKER: Roprah - but really, no. Here`s the reality of it. Oprah is going off the field. There`s going to be a huge void in the daytime. People are going to want to see a show like Oprah.
ANDERSON: Yes, great point.
BAKER: So I think Rosie can fill -
(CROSSTALK)
ANDERSON: Maybe Rosie can help fill that void. We`ll see. I`ve got to end it there. Ken Baker, Michelle Fizer, thank you both. Good to see you.

Well, on Monday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day.
And A.J., right now, we`ve got the shocking final results. "Celebrity Cheating Scandals: Who offends you most?" Sixty-two percent of you say John Edwards and it looks like Tiger Woods and Jesse James scandals equally disgust you at 19 percent each.
Here are some of the E-mails we received. Jodi from New Jersey, "John Edwards" is the most despicable of them all. Are there any men out there who don`t cheat?"
Patricia from Kentucky, "Tiger is only sorry he got caught. It might not be this year, but Elin will catch him cheating again. He will not stop. He will just get smarter."
HAMMER: Well, Brooke, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines were also ringing nonstop about this. We got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Mary in Ohio who thinks Jesse shouldn`t be compared to Tiger Woods and John Edwards.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
CALLER: Comparing Tiger and Jesse James and John Edwards all of those people together - I think Jesse James is probably sincere and he made a mistake. And if people would leave him and Sandra Bullock alone, I think they could probably resolve their differences.
I don`t think Jesse fits in any of those categories. He`s quiet and unassuming. And he made a mistake. That happens, but I think they could work it out.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Thank you, Mary. And thank you for watching. That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
