A.J. HAMMER, HLN HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Tom and Katie`s seductive new dance. The unbelievable new video revealed today of Katie`s Cruise control.
(MUSIC)
It`s hot. It`s sexy. And does this dirty dancing prove once and for all that all of those reports about Tom and Katie splitting up are just plain ridiculous?
Sandra`s shocking new adoption controversy. Why some people are outraged today over Sandra Bullock adopting a black baby. The fired-up debate.
Jessica Simpson`s dentist disgusted today. Why he`s giving Jess the brush off.
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN HOST: Hello, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - dirty dancing.
HAMMER: Dirty indeed, Brooke. An absolutely remarkable video surfaced today of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, and it might put to rest all those wild claims their marriage is on the rocks.
Let me tell you, this is one hot video. Katie on a public stage seductively teasing Tom to the point the video monitors where we`re watching this thing on today - they got all steamy and foggy.
And in case you were wondering who wears the pants in their family, well, I`m here to officially tell you that when you see this, you will agree in this case, Katie was totally in cruise control.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER (voice-over): Forget Fred and Ginger. Now, we have Tom and Kate.
(MUSIC)
The entire country is talking today of this video clip of star couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, burning up the stage in a sexy dance number at a benefit in Los Angeles this past weekend.
(MUSIC)
MARC MALKIN, SENIOR COLUMNIST, "E! ONLINE": Katie was performing a song from "Damn Yankees" called "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets." And surprise, surprise, guess who was on stage with her? Tom. And he was sort of - just sort of like a prop. He was just the guy there. He wasn`t singing, sort of doing a little bit of dancing.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: It is odd that Tom didn`t do too much dancing in this video. We saw that he had moves in "Risky Business."
(MUSIC)
And more recently in "Tropic Thunder." But is he a match for Kate`s sexy dance moves?
MALKIN: We definitely see Katie vamping it up, really belting out a tune, you know, lifting her skirt, trying to be really is seductive, trying to be really kind of sultry. I don`t know if she pulls that off completely.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Sultry or not, this video clip has spread like wildfire online. As of today, it`s gotten almost half a million views on YouTube.
MALKIN: I was getting the link yesterday via E-mail all day long. I must have gotten it at least a dozen times.
HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you this is just more than just your normal song and dance. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT tells you Tom and Kate`s steamy dance number is the strongest response they`ve given yet to the flood of recent reports that their three-year marriage is in trouble.
This headline from an entertainment site tells of a trial separation and this recent headline simply screams "The End."
MALKIN: It`s endless. It`s absolutely endless.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: But today those Tom-Kat breakup headlines are being replaced by talk of Tom-Kat`s on stage vamping. Because all this slinking and shimmying couldn`t possibly be the stuff of a marriage in trouble, could it?
MALKIN: Since the day Tom and Katie got together, there have been rumors that their relationship is fake or they`re about to break up or they`re on the verge of breaking up. Katie is trying to get out of it.
But every time you see that headline, you turn around and there they are. They are together. There, you know, they go on this movie set or like here, they`re on a stage singing and dancing.
HAMMER: Of course, whether or not you can tell the state of a Hollywood couple`s marriage with just one dance may be beside the point. Sometimes, it`s just fun watching a couple frequently bashed in the tabloids make beautiful music together.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: So will this video finally put all those silly rumors about Tom and Katie to rest? With me tonight here in New York is Megan Alexander who is a correspondent for "Inside Edition." Also in New York, Lindsay Powers, who is a senior editor for "Us Weekly." "Us Weekly`s" new issue is on newsstands right now.
All right. The rumors about Tom and Katie splitting up have been together basically since they got together. And they will always be together. So to me, this was also just a dance number at an event, at a charity event. That said, do you think it will help put the rumors, these nasty rumors about them splitting up to rest?
MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": I don`t think so much that. It sure looked like they were having a lot of fun. They`re both performers. I don`t think it will do that.
But you know, A.J., this isn`t the first time that she was in or her performing a song from the musical, "Damn Yankees." She was actually in her high school production right before she got the phone call to do "Dawson`s Creek."
Katie has a background in dancing and singing. I tell you why Tom wasn`t singing, though, because we all learned in "Top Gun" that he can`t sing.
HAMMER: Yes. Not so well. Not so well. What do you think, Lindsay? Are people seeing this thing and saying. "Oh, yes. They`re definitely doing OK?"
LINDSAY POWERS, SENIOR EDITOR, "US WEEKLY": Well, this is their public message. You know, they`re at this big event on a Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles. And they`re like, "Hey, you know, forget these rumors," pointing at their wedding rings. "We`re fine."
It`s four years after their wedding. That`s what they want people to focus on - their hot, steamy dance and not all those fake magazine covers.
HAMMER: Yes. I think people need to let that go. I think everything is just fine.
All right. Now, I`ve got to move on to this bombshell interview today that Jenna Jameson did with "Us Weekly." She just did it. She`s opening up about the fight she got into with her Ultimate Fighting Champion boyfriend, Tito Ortiz, who is the father of their twin boys.
Now, Jenna was seen with her arm wrapped in bandages shortly after the cops were called to the house. Ortiz was arrested on domestic violence charges and he was ordered to stay away from Jenna. Well, here`s what she`s saying now to "Us Weekly."
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JENNA JAMESON, EX-PORN STAR: He is not a wife beater. He`s not. It`s not in him. He`s so loving and so, like, protective. And that`s why when it happened, I was just, like, so shocked. It`s just scary to me that it had to come to this violent conclusion.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I mean, obviously very emotional and obviously Jenna is very conflicted here. Lindsay, your magazine got this interview. Are you surprised to hear Jenna defending Tito considering Tito held a press conference and he publicly said that Jenna was addicted to OxyContin?
POWERS: Well, the first thing you`ll see and you see in that teary video from "UsMagazine.com" is that she says she`s 100 percent clean. She`s taken a drug test.
But then, you know, to speak her to surprise, at her boyfriend doing that, you know, she says he`s a great father. They have 13-month-old twins and that it`s hard for her to walk away because this is the man that she wants to be in their lives, helping her raise them.
HAMMER: Yes. And that`s a scary pattern to get into. For the first time, Jenna is actually talking in great detail to "Us Weekly" about what happened that night. You`ve got to watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JAMES: He said, "I hope it feels good to be high." I was like, "What are you talking about?" And he goes, "I found your pills." I didn`t even really know what to say. It caught me by surprise. Then I noticed he was packing his things and then I started to panic.
I got up out of bed and I said, "I`m not on drugs, baby. I promise you. I swear to you on everything that I have." And he didn`t believe me. So I said, "Let`s go to the store. I`ll get a drug test and we`ll do it."
I was just trying to plead with him like, "I love you. Please don`t leave me." And he was like, "It`s done. It`s over." And as he said that, he moved past me and grabbed my arm and pushed me aside. And by doing that, I fell against the edge of the bathtub.
(END VIDEO CLIP) v
HAMMER: All right. So I`m hearing that, Megan, and I`m thinking, "Run. Don`t walk away from this guy," if this is in fact what really happened. Do you see them getting back together or even staying together? Because she seems very attached to the guy.
ALEXANDER: Well, I think that domestic violence is a very serious issue and there are so many women and men that deal with this problem. And to make these allegations and make these statements and then seem to change your story, it shows you how complicated it is.
But, ladies, if you`re in a situation like this, you do have to break away. You have to protect yourself, even when you`re connected emotionally. You`ve got to get free.
HAMMER: Yes. And get help and connect with somebody who`s going to give you that advice. Great interview up at "UsWeekly.com." Megan Alexander, Lindsay Powers, thank you very much. You can pick up a copy of "Us Weekly" on newsstands everywhere.
ANDERSON: OK. So I have to tell you that Jessica Simpson`s dentist is totally disgusted by her today. Really, her dentist. You`ve got to hear what he is saying about her. This guy is really giving her the brush off.
And there`s a shocking Sandra Bullock adoption controversy raging today. Why some people are outraged today over Sandra adopting a black baby.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SANDRA BULLOCK, ACTRESS: You know, I don`t care what color you are, what sexual orientation, what nationality you are, what religion you are, if you operate out of a place of love, that`s a family.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
And Bieber fever out of control. Why Kim Kardashian is getting death threats by Justin Bieber fans. Are Kim and Justin really dating? No way, can`t be. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: I just got a little scared there, Brooke. Now, it`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Chris Brown gets good marks from judge today, he`s on probation for beating Rihanna. Former N.Y. Giants star Lawrence Taylor arrested in connection with rape of 16-year-old.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
ANDERSON: Jude Law allegedly cheated on Sienna Miller, but hey, that`s history because they`re back together again.
And Bret Michaels speaks out for the very first time since nearly dying from a brain hemorrhage.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Bret Michaels` miracle. Michaels is speaking out for the first time since suffering a brain hemorrhage and spending 10 days in the hospital. The reality and rock star tells people that when he got to the emergency room, doctors told him to bring his two young children to the hospital.
He responded, "Am I dying? If I`m dying, I want to see my kids. But if I have a chance, I don`t want them to see me in this condition." Michaels is in rehab right now and is expected to fully recover.
Idolizing Kelly Clarkson -
(SINGING)
"Billboard" has just named Clarkson the most successful "American Idol" winner of all time, selling more than 10 million albums. And people are also crazy over Kelly`s singles buying some 15 million. "Billboard" says Carrie Underwood is second to Kelly on the "Idol" success chart. Rounding out the top five, Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks and David Cook.
(SINGING)
Hey, Jude, forget the cheating. Jude Law and Sienna Miller are a couple again. Five years ago, they broke off their engagement when Jude was caught sleeping with his kids` nanny. Jude and Sienna had their big coming out this week at the Metropolitan Museum costume gala in New York City. And Jude tells "Access Hollywood," quote, "I`m very happy."
There you have it. Jude and Sienna back together. So we`ve got to ask. Are they the new role models for making it work after a cheating scandal?
Right now in Hollywood is Kim Serafin, who is a senior editor for "In Touch Weekly."
So Kim, five years after Jude Law allegedly cheated on then fiancee Sienna Miller with his children`s nanny, the two are back together. Looks like they`re in love. Kim, I am really surprised today that Sienna was just able to put the past behind her. Are you surprised?
KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": No, I`m not surprised at all. I don`t think people should be surprised. I mean, first of all, it`s Hollywood so it`s a different set of rules that they operate in Hollywood on.
But you know, remember, when this happened and they broke off the engagement, they then got back together again and then broke it off. And plus, five years has passed. Jude has had some relationships, including one that resulted in another child.
Sienna has had some high-profile relationships. They`ve obviously grown up. And they apparently got back together when they were both starring in plays on Broadway back in the fall. So something is bringing them back together.
And you know what? Showing up at the Met, at costume gala is not a wedding. So when we see a wedding, when we see, you know, this happen and it`s official, then maybe I`ll be surprised. But until then they seem to be getting back together again, you know, just temporarily.
ANDERSON: They`re obviously - yes, and they`re obviously very drawn together as you say. You know, that`s a lot of love. That`s some serious forgiveness.
And that brings me to this. You know, there have been so many stories of cheating celebrities lately. Do you think that perhaps Jude and Sienna might even inspire some of them to make another go at their relationships?
SERAFIN: No, because it`s a different situation. They were engaged but there were no kids involved. Obviously, with Tiger and Elin, kids involved. Sandra and Jesse, a totally different story.
So maybe they will inspire them but, you know, you never know. Even with Elin and Tiger one day - yes, they are getting a divorce. Definitely no, maybe they`re back together. Now, they are not getting back together.
You know, I don`t think Jude and Sienna should set the example for all Hollywood couples. I wish them the best. And they seem like they`re in love.
ANDERSON: Yes, me either. But we do wish Jude and Sienna the best. Yes. And we hope that they stay faithful.
OK, another story making big news today. Michael Lohan not backing off his crusade to get his daughter, Lindsay, into rehab. There were reports out today that Lindsay may have come to an agreement with her estranged father.
But this afternoon, Michael Lohan`s attorney told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT no such thing has happened saying this, "Michael wants Lindsay to go to rehab. If she doesn`t, all options remain open. He loves her. Her decision not to meet with him or go into rehab puts him in a very difficult position."
Kim, do you think if Lindsay`s dad keeps the pressure on that she will eventually give in?
SERAFIN: I unfortunately don`t think so. I think his heart is in the right place and good for him for trying. But she`s getting mixed messages. On one hand, she has her father saying that she clearly doesn`t really like when her father tells her what to do.
And then, she`s got her mother who does go with her to alcohol education classes but then reportedly is out at a nightclub with her. So she`s got two different sources of things coming at her.
Plus, she`s got movie offers. Apparently, she`s going to play Linda Lovelace in a movie now. So -
ANDERSON: Yes.
SERAFIN: Until her career is really affected, until something really bad happens, I think she`s going to continue on the path that she`s on.
ANDERSON: Oh, it`s just really sad.
SERAFIN: Hopefully, not too bad. Hopefully she will find this (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
ANDERSON: Yes. And it`s like two stubborn bulls who won`t budge. They`re at an impasse. They need some sort of mediator.
SERAFIN: Yes.
ANDERSON: Kim Serafin, thank you. Good to see you.
HAMMER: Another bombshell from alleged Jesse James mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee today. She`s actually blaming Sandra Bullock for Jesse`s cheating because of the dogs that slept in Sandra and Jesse`s bed. I think "Bombshell" needs to put a lid on it.
Jessica Simpson`s dentist is totally disgusted by her today. Really? Jess` dentist? Why he`s giving her the brush off.
Oh, Betty White. She`s getting ready to host "SNL" this weekend. Today, there`s this brand-new hysterical tribute to some of her best lines.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BETTY WHITE, ACTRESS: You really are a douche bag.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Higher, Betty.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views. And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini heading back to HBO in new series called "Taxi 22." "Lost" creator J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg teaming up for movie, "Super 8."
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Did you see this? Kenny Chesney`s desperate rescue. The country music star sent out a Twit Pic of himself outside his home up to his knees in water after the severe flooding in Tennessee.
Kenny managed to save the guitar and a few other personal things before using a motor boat to escape to dry land. Kenny`s publicist said that Kenny`s home will probably be condemned.
That`s incredible what is going on in Tennessee. Good luck to those folks.
All right. Moving on now, why Kim Kardashian is getting death threats today from Justin Bieber fans. Now, look, I know all about this Bieber fever. The 16-year-old singers` fans are really protective of him, but threatening to kill him? Kill Kim, rather? Come on.
Here`s what happened. Justin and Kim met up at the White House Correspondents` Dinner in D.C. They took a picture together and the Bieb posted it on his Twitter page joking that Kim is his girlfriend.
Well, then, all heck broke loose. Kim tweeted that she was getting death threats from Justin`s fans. "Seriously, Biebs," she writes, "Justin Bieber, I`m getting death threats from your fans. This is unbelievable."
Well, Bieber tried to get his fans to chill responding, "Ladies, calm down. Kim Kardashian is a friend, a very sexy friend, but a friend. No need for threats. Let`s all be friends."
Now, this all got Whoopi Goldberg fired up on "The View" today. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": It`s OK to, you know, love your favorite person. You cannot send threatening stuff to people. That is not how it rolls. You all need to just back off that.
ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": And that would be a deal breaker in terms of a little relationship with Justin. He might think you`re (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
(CROSS TALK)
ANDERSON: Yes. That`s not cool. And, really, Kim is about 30 and Justin, 16. But this means that Justin is still single. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT production assistants Lauren(ph) and Jessica, you girls still have a shot.
HAMMER: Yes. And they`ve got the Bieber fever. All right. The SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall flooded with posts today about Elizabeth Hasselbeck slamming peephole stalker victim Erin Andrews on "Dancing with the Stars."
Elisabeth did apologize, but Kelly A. - she is still; mad. She writes, "I like Elizabeth Hasselbeck, but I think she went too far with her comment after all the crap Erin Andrews went through."

ANDERSON: And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what is coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Sandra Bullock adoption controversy today. Why some people are upset that she adopted a black baby.
Jesse James` alleged mistress is blaming Sandra and their dogs, actually, for Jesse`s cheating ways.
And I`m one of the people who can`t wait for Betty White to host "SNL" this weekend. Check out this hilarious new tribute out today of Betty`s best lines.

WHITE: You really are a douche bag.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Higher, Betty.

ANDERSON: So funny. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: The Duggars` 19th baby, Josie, is doing better but remains hospitalized. TLC renews "Toddlers and Tiaras" for a third season.

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - the explosive debate today over Sandra Bullock`s baby. Why some people are outraged over Sandra adopting a black son.
Plus, Sandra in her own words about what family really means.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BULLOCK: You know, I don`t care what color you are, what sexual orientation, what nationality you are, what religion you are, if you operate out of a place of love, that`s a family.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today. A disturbing Sandra Bullock baby debate. When Sandra Bullock adopted her baby boy from New Orleans, I`m guessing the last thing she expected was people second-guessing her.
But so many people are now asking if she may have done something wrong, not for adopting a baby but for adopting a black baby. It`s the explosive debate today over Sandra`s decision. Here is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
KAREEN WYNTER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Sandra Bullock`s baby bombshell. The surprising news of Bullock`s pending adoption of adorable baby Louis gave the world a glimpse of a happy Sandra for the first time since word broke about her cheating husband, Jesse James in March.
With Bullock`s soon-to-be-ex dominating headlines with mistresses and Nazi costume photos, the baby Louis bundle of joy came as welcome news to most Bullock fans. But for some African-Americans, the story sounded an angry online alarm. Quote, "She just got out of a relationship with a racist, for heaven`s sake. You know nothing about this woman. What, because she`s white she`ll make a good mother?"
And quote, "It`s becoming fashionable for Hollywood nut cases to adopt black children now." Just some of the reaction by readers on "Essence.com" to a story about Bullock`s interracial adoption.
Emil Wilbekin is managing editor of "Essence.com."
EMIL WILBEKIN, MANAGING EDITOR, "ESSENCE.COM": We`re living in the age of Obama. You know, the issues of race have changed. The discussion about race has changed.
The only reason I thought there may have been some kind of, you know, negative commenting about it was because there has been this trend of white celebrities to adopt black babies.
WYNTER: A majority of "Essence.com" readers defended Bullock`s adoption arguing a happy home is better than no home.
WILBEKIN: For the most part, you know, the audience said love is love and it`s amazing that Louis is, you know, adopted to this amazing household with this amazing woman to be his mother. And that just, you know, there are so many black children in this country who are up for adoption or who are in the foster care system.
WYNTER: While most black children adopted from foster care in the U.S. go to African-American homes, white families adopting black foster kids has risen about 12 percent since 1998.
On other Web sites that cater to an African-American audience like "Bossa" and "MediaTakeOut.com," there was more discussion. Quote, "I wonder how much of the movie `Blindside` had to do with her adopting a black child."
BULLOCK: You threaten my son, you threaten me.
WYNTER (on camera): In the "Blind Side," Bullock plays a Leigh Anne Tuohy, a wealthy suburban mom who takes in an inner city black kid and invites him to be part of her family. So is Bullock`s adoption a case of life imitating art? When we talked to Sandra back in February, she shared her admiration for the real life Leigh Anne.
BULLOCK: He found her family. She helped a child. We should help more children in this country.
WYNTER: Bullock`s been caring for her new son since January and says she kept little Louis a secret to protect him from the media madness surrounding her Oscar win and subsequent divorce drama.
With her newest family member already at home at the time of this interview, Bullock may have answered her critics in advance of her adoption announcement.
BULLOCK: We all have this preconceived notion of what we think our family is supposed to be. And unfortunately, it`s one that - it`s more about what a society or even a familial society has an image for, for you.
But everyone is so different. You know, it`s - I`m sorry, you know, it`s - there`s two women that are great parents. You know, that`s a family. You know, I don`t care what color you are, what sexual orientation, what nationality you are, what religion you are. If you operate out of a place of love, that`s a family.
WYNTER: And for Sandra, her family and family life will never be the same.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. So the big question today is, does it really matter that Sandra isn`t the same race as her son?
Right now in New York is Rachel Noerdlinger. Rachel is the president of Noerdlinger media and was adopted and raised by white parents. Right now, in Hollywood, Wendy Walsh. Wendy is a TV journalist and doctor of psychology and has two biracial biological daughters.
So Wendy, I`ll begin with you. What did you say to Sandra critics who are accusing her of adopting Louis because it`s fashionable or because it`s some publicity stunt?
DR. WENDY WALSH, TV JOURNALIST AND DOCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY: You know, I think when you know about somebody`s race, you know about as much about them as their shoe size. That`s how little race tells us about someone`s personal identity.
And I think that sometimes, the black community, just like heterosexual married people, worry about their identity or the institution of marriage being watered down by people like gay people wanting to get into the club.
All of a sudden, black power is feeling maybe a little threatened by the fact that - you know what? We`re all just kids. We`re all just parents and it really doesn`t matter what melanin you have in your skin.
You know, I`ve lived all over the world with my children in homogeneous places, in far more diverse places. And for the most part, we`ve never experienced any real racism at all.
ANDERSON: Look at them. Look how beautiful your girls are. And I`ve met one of them and she is just lovely.
And Rachel, I want to ask you this. Given that you were adopted and raised by white parents, what`s your take on Sandra`s critics?
RACHEL NOERDLINGER, PRESIDENT, NOERDLINGER MEDIA: I say to the naysayers and all the conspiracy theorists, would they rather that children languish in foster care? Are they saying, then, I should not have been adopted and that I should have been in foster care?
And I think it`s a very unfair - very, very unfair judgment to make. Most of the people that are saying these things are not authentic voices. They are not trans-racial adoptees or people able to even have a communication about our similarities and our differences.
ANDERSON: Yes, and I`ve got to tell you, I`ve met Sandra and I`ve interviewed her numerous times. And I really feel that she`s a kindhearted, genuine woman who adopted Louis purely out of love.
And I just think a lot of the comments against her adoption are shocking and they`re appalling, honestly. And it became real clear real quick on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall that fans were outraged too.
We got hundreds of comments today all supporting Sandra. Trish W. writes, "That beautiful child needed a loving home and she gave him one. What`s the big deal? I have an interracial child and that has never been an issue in our home. Love is colorblind."
Now, Sandra has personally told me when I interviewed her before the Oscar`s that it is love that makes a family, not color. But Wendy, you say that Sandra - that no one should be colorblind so much. Why?
WALSH: Yes. You know, I noticed that when Sandra first came out, if you will, with the "People" magazine cover showing her baby, all the bloggers, all the commenters were very politically correct and nobody mentioned the baby`s race.
And you guys, you`re a little too politically correct for me because I think if you start to make black beauty unmentionable, that`s racist in its own way. If somebody doesn`t mention that my gorgeous mocha babies look great in bright orange or in turquoise or that their beautiful curls just shimmer in the sunlight, I feel like, what, are they invisible? You don`t see their beauty?
ANDERSON: But Wendy, don`t you think people are just sensitive sometimes they don`t know what to say and they don`t want to offend? But you`re saying, be fearless and be unafraid to broach that subject.
WALSH: I mean, be careful about using language that belonged in the 1950s. But really, today, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And there are so many beautiful human beings on the planet, no matter their skin color or the texture of hair or the slant of their eyes. Why not comment on beauty wherever you see it?
NOERDLINGER: I agree with you. I agree with you with Wendy.
ANDERSON: One author from the Web site "BlackVoices.com" thinks Sandra does have some challenges ahead of her now that she has adopted a black son. Take a look at what this author wrote, "Even the most culturally aware white person cannot know what it is like to be black. And I doubt whether it is something that they can be taught or teach. Hopefully, Bullock has some great black people in her life who can connect to the child and provide that for him." Rachel, very quickly, what do you say to that?
NOERDLINGER: I agree. I think that a child needs to be exposed to diversity and be in an environment where there are different people, different colors in all walks of life.
ANDERSON: Yes.
NOERDLINGER: And I agree that the notion of colorblindness is ignorant. When people look at me, they see a color.
ANDERSON: I see a beautiful woman, and I agree.
WALSH: Well, you know, I`ve got to with you on that because -
ANDERSON: And thank you, both. You both make some wonderful, beautiful points.
And I want to move now to another outrageous Sandra Bullock development. The mistress of her soon-to-be-ex husband, Jesse James, at it again.
We heard today that Michelle "Bombshell" McGee believes Sandra was partly to blame for Jesse`s infidelity because she let the dogs sleep in her bed. And we`re not just talking about Jesse. Rachel, Wendy, stay right where you are. We`re getting to that in just a moment.
ANDERSON: Moving on to Jessica Simpson`s dentist who dishes on her dirty mouth. Jess recently revealed she doesn`t brush her teeth every day and that just (UNINTELLIGIBLE) me out.
Well, today Jessica`s dentist has a brand-new revelation about the country`s most famous yuck mouth.
HAMMER: I`ve to tell you, if I could be half as cool now as Betty White is at 88, I would be pretty thrilled. She`s about to host "Saturday Night Live" after a massive Facebook campaign. And now, she`s gone viral online again today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It is the hilarious tribute to the Hollywood legend`s one- liners, Betty White line. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: One year after sex change surgery, Chaz Bono legally changes name and gender.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York. We`ve got brand-new controversy today over Jessica Simpson`s smile.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. This is wild. Jessica`s big brush off from her very own dentist. Jessica`s dentist was absolutely and understandably shocked when Jessica revealed to Ellen DeGeneres she only brushes three times a week.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JESSICA SIMPSON, ACTRESS: My teeth are so white and I don`t like them to feel too slippery. But I do use Listerine and I do floss every day.
ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Right.
SIMPSON: But I don`t brush them every day. I`ll use a shirt or something.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: She was just dumbfounded. Today, Jessica`s dentist is outraged. Can you blame the guy?
Right now, in New York, Noelle Nikpour, who is a columnist for "South Florida Sun Sentinel." Also in New York, Brian Balthazar who is a comedian and the editor of "PopGoesTheWeek.com."
I`ve got to say, if I was Jessica`s dentist, I`m not so sure that the rubber gloves and the goggles would be enough to get me to work on her mouth ever again.
In a brand-new interview today, Jessica`s dentist says, "I was kind of shocked. I assumed everybody brushed their teeth all the time. People pay us a lot of money for that slippery feeling. It`s great that she`s flossing all the time but you have to brush, too."
Seems like obvious advice to me, Brian. I`m thinking that just like Jessica`s dentist, four out of five dentists everywhere are just horrified. Should we be worried?
BRIAN BALTHAZAR, EDITOR, "POPGOESTHEWEEK.COM": Right. Well, four out of five of Jessica`s boyfriends probably, too. You know, she may not like the slippery feeling but chances are the men she`s dating do. And just because I don`t want to clean my apartment, doesn`t mean that I don`t do it.
HAMMER: Right.
BALTHAZAR: So I think she`s got to, you know, step it up and just do it. My first reaction, though, was just, eww. I think that`s a collective eww.
HAMMER: Yes. Well, I`m a little worried about Jessica and I want to help her. Charles, can we show what I`ve been working on all day? This is what Jessica could look like if she continued on this path.
It`s Jessica with no or maybe one tooth. You know, I am concerned about the well-being of Jessica`s teeth and now, for her boyfriend`s as well.
Noelle, does Jessica need a basic oral hygiene intervention? I`m thinking maybe there`s dental rehab now. Maybe that will be the new trend.
NOELLE NIKPOUR, COLUMNIST, "SOUTH FLORIDA SUN SENTINEL": Oh, my gosh. Well, I think first of all, Yuck Mouth Simpson, which is probably going to be her new tag nickname, needs to be not only introduced to a toothbrush but she needs an intervention from the American Dental Association.
This is absolutely absurd. Number one, that she would actually announce this on national television. I mean, she`s single now and how is that going to work for her trying to get a date? Gross.
HAMMER: Yes. And the weird thing is we saw her sitting there with Ellen. She wasn`t goofing around. Oh, goodness. Let`s move on, shall we?
There`s a brand new slam on Sandra Bullock today. It`s from, of all people, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. This, of course, is the alleged mistress of Sandra Bullock`s husband, Jesse James.
She says that Sandra bears some of the blame for the fact that Jesse cheated on her. On Howard Stern`s radio show, "Bombshell" dropped this bombshell. She said, "I feel bad for Sandra. I do. But they slept with nine dogs in the bed. She liked to sleep with all the dogs in the bed."
So let me get this straight. The mistress is blaming the dogs but not the dog, Brian. Seems pretty warped to me.
BALTHAZAR: Is that included in the nine? You know what?
HAMMER: No.
BALTHAZAR: I think the solution is, you know, you could actually sleep on the couch. Did the dogs have a gun to his head and drive him to go to sleep with someone else? It`s never been more popular to be unpopular. And she`s milking this cow for everything it`s worth.
HAMMER: Yes.
BALTHAZAR: And she`s fame (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
HAMMER: Now, when I listened to that interview and it really did seem like she was figuring out every way to rationalize her behavior and not take enough of the blame.
McGee also telling Howard Stern about how she and Jesse got intimate for the very first time. Now, Noelle, remember, she apologized to Sandra. She says she doesn`t want the publicity. But look, she`s not shutting up.
NIKPOUR: No, not at all. You know, number one, she is trash. Number two, she can throw Jesse under the bus because they had an affair and that was wrong.
HAMMER: Yes.
NIKPOUR: But how dare she comment on Sandra Bullock and the dogs. And I`ll tell you what, if I were a guy, I`d rather be with Sandra Bullock and nine dogs than "Bombshell" McGee any day.
HAMMER: Got to end it there. Noelle Nikpour, Brian Balthazar, thanks so much, guys.
ANDERSON: OK. Don`t call it a comeback. Betty White is as white hot as ever. She`s about to host "Saturday Night Live" after a massive Facebook campaign.

TEXT: Tori Spelling and husband Dean to renew wedding vows amid reports of a breakup. Report: "Playboy" working on "safe for work" Web site.
HAMMER: Right now, it`s the SHOWBIZ salute to moms. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT goes one-on-one with actress and comedian Aisha Tyler. Now, we caught up with the hilarious and gorgeous star at the "Us Magazine" big hot in Hollywood shindig.
And we count down to Mother`s Day now, which, of course, is on Sunday. And as we`re doing that, Aisha doesn`t have a warm, fuzzy and cuddly message for her mom. She`s actually got a warning.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
AISHA TYLER, ACTRESS: I want to wish all the moms out there a Happy Mother`s Day, especially my mom. She is a rock star, and I told Steven Spielberg that you would stop calling him and trying to get him to put me in his movie. So, relax -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Aisha, your mom just wants her big baby to be a big star. No harm in that, right? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

OK. Moving to this, Wednesday we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Just moments ago, we got the final results. "Lindsay Lohan as Linda Lovelace: Good career move for Lindsay to play the `Deep Throat` porn star?"
Only 29 percent of you say yes; 71 percent of you say no. Here are some of the E-mails we received. Christina from New York writes this, "Lindsay Lohan goes from being a child actor/role model to getting in trouble with the law. Her good image is already ruined."
And Linda from Florida, "We all have heard of Miss Lohan`s antics. This sounds like a perfect role for a highly dysfunctional person."
And we do appreciate your E-mails. Keep them coming.
HAMMER: Yes. But some people still suggesting it was OK., you know, an that`s really interesting to me if there was a little bit of chatter about this online that I was seeing somebody saying, if she knocks this out of the park then maybe her career is coming back, Brooke. I guess this is it.
ANDERSON: I don`t know about that.
HAMMER: Let`s just see. Neither do I. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am A.J. Hammer in New York.
ANDERSON: Thanks for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.
HAMMER: And still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
