SARAH JESSICA PARKER, ACTRESS: I don`t know that it`s an obsession by us, but I think that it`s something that we all feel comfortable talking about now.
HAMMER: It`s the sexy headline-making interview you`ll see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Kate Gosselin`s desperate plea. Help me. Why Kate is begging for help with her kids today?
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today.
Cooking up murder? You just can`t make this stuff up. A former star chef on the Food Network was accused today of creating the following recipe for murdering his wife, get a couple of homeless guys, and ask them to do the dirty deed. Juan-Carlos Cruz used to host two shows on the Food Network, Calorie Commando and Weighing In. And today, prosecutors weighed in and charged him with attempted murder.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER (voice-over): If you think crazy crime capers with strange characters only happen in Coen Brothers movies like "Fargo," wait until you see the plot served up in this real life case.
JUAN-CARLOS CRUZ, FORMER TV CHEF: I`m Juan-Carlos Cruz, showing you how to lose the calories without losing the flavor.
HAMMER: Former TV chef, Juan-Carlos Cruz was charged today with whipping up a half-baked murder plot.
NINA PARKER, PRODUCER, TMZ: He is basically accused of murder for hire. Police are saying that he tried to enlist three men to kill his wife.
HAMMER: The homeless men in question are spilling everything about the alleged plot to the cops and the media.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m going to kill your old lady? I have morals, you know.
PARKER: I don`t get shocked often, but this one, I was a little taken aback.
HAMMER: Juan-Carlos Cruz started off as an overweight pastry chef. He parlayed his own dramatic weight loss into a mini-industry that voted to healthy living.
CRUZ: I`m kissing off the calories and waving goodbye the fat today on "Calorie Commando."
HAMMER: In 2004 he hosted the Food Network show, "Calorie Commando." Now, he`s accused of cooking up something much more sinister.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This guy comes up to me and was like, I have a job. I was like, what kind of job? He`s like dirty deeds done dirt cheap (ph).
HAMMER: The homeless men tell TMZ Cruz tried to hire them to kill his wife. Santa Monica police confirm to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that these three are the chief witnesses against Cruz.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We got approached a week ago by -- we didn`t even know his name.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We didn`t know who the woman he just wanted this bitch dead. Pardon my language.
HAMMER: The men say when the Santa Monica police arrested one of them for loitering, they told the cops all about Cruz`s alleged plot.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We took a little trip down to the police station and talked to several cops and --
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What were they asking about?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Asking about, basically, what the guy had and everything he had. What he was wanting to do.
HAMMER: The Santa Monica police tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, they began an undercover investigation of Cruz on May 7th with the help of their new witnesses who say the cops treated them very well.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We were in a hotel for a week. They gave us two pizzas, a 12-pack of beer, and a bottle of San Jose (ph). I love them.
HAMMER: Pizza, beer, and tequila? The calorie commando would not approve of that diet. Cruz was arrested last Thursday.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We will probably have to go to court.
HAMMER: TMZ`s Nina Parker tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, their role in this weird case has made unlikely heroes of these men.
PARKER: Some people here are calling them, you know, homeless super heroes. So, maybe, they can get their own reality show. Everybody else is getting and I don`t see why they can`t and get their shine.
HAMMER: Whether they become stars in their own right remains to be seen, but depending on how this bizarre case turns out, they could very well be known as the guys who cooked the chef.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER (on-camera): The Food Network is trying to make something clear. They don`t have anything to do with this guy. And in a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT late today, the Food Network told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Juan- Carlos Cruz has not been under contract or associated with Food Network for a number of years. The network has no current relationship with Cruz and therefore has no comment on the allegation.
A brand new Miss USA was crowned last night, and today, there`s already a fiery debate surrounding these photos that just surfaced of the new Miss USA, Rima Fakih on a stripper pole. The photos of Fakih who was Miss Michigan are from 2007. They`re definitely racy, but are they racy enough to get her in hot water.
Right now, in New York, Megan Alexander who`s a former Miss USA judge and is now a correspondent for "Inside Edition". In Detroit, Michigan, it`s Mojo, host of "Mojo in the Morning" on channel 95.5 in Detroit. Mojo, I want to start with you. These photos were taken for your radio show. She was competing in this contest that you`ve been doing for a number of years called stripper 101.
MOJO: Right.
HAMMER: You were right there when the photos were taken back in 2007. What exactly is going on in these photos?
MOJO, HOST, "MOJO IN THE MORNING": Basically, these are just photos. We have a group of women that all win a contest to learn how to strip from professional stripers, A.J. And these women are up on a dance floor at a strip club dancing, and you know, Rima just happens to be one of those people. And you know, I think people are making a bigger deal out of these photos than their worth, but we have gotten phone calls from people from the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageant asking about the photos and asking if there are more photos that are out there.
HAMMER: Yes. What exactly did the Miss USA people want to know when they called you up?
MOJO: Just about the photos. Are these the only photos, are there more photos, can we have those photos. You know, we had a relationship with Rima for a while. We actually had her on our air last week to promote the show last night. And you know, I think that the deal is that, you know, last year, there was such a craziness over Carrie Prejean. And I think people are trying to make a bigger deal out of this. I think the photos, obviously, are very sexy, but she is a very sexy person.
The contest was to come out and learn how to dance like a stripper. She was the best contestant that was there, but this was, you know, three, what, four years ago, three years ago, and she was 21 years old at the time.
HAMMER: Right.
MOJO: I mean, I don`t think that she, at the time, maybe had aspirations of being a Miss USA.
HAMMER: Yes, and if she had aspirations of being a stripper, well, you know, actually, she did pretty well in that contest looking at those photos.
MOJO: She`s good.
HAMMER: And they certainly are provocative, but unlike Carrie Prejean who you mentioned from last year`s scandal, she didn`t have all of her clothes on or her clothes were kind of falling off. And let`s not forget that just last week, the Miss USA pageant was right in the middle of a controversy because of these racy photos that they took of all the contestants, posing and printing just like Victoria`s Secret models. Now, take a look at Miss Michigan`s pageants approved photo versus her 2007 stripper photo, and Megan, I`m thinking that the photo -- that the pageant took is a whole lot racier than the stripper photo.
MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Mojo just said something very interesting. He said she may never had aspirations to be Miss USA. My thought is, why not, though? That is the time for young people that are watching the shows, especially young girls to go, wait a minute, when you make a choice, there is a consequence for choices that you make. And therefore, maybe she should have thought that she is worth it, and that she can be something aspiring if you will.
I`m not dissing the contest, but I`m saying it`s OK to strive for the best in life, and therefore, maybe you don`t have to do a contest like that. You go by (ph) to different way.
MOJO: If I can just mention some real quick, this is actually a class that we teach on how to learn -- learn how to strip. And it`s to, you know, enticed women to come out and said they can have fun with their significant others. There are doctors. There are lawyers. We had judges. We had school teachers that have entered this class. It`s just so happens that this is a 21-year-old girl that entered this class.
HAMMER: Yes.
MOJO: And I don`t think that what she did was anything wrong. I think that, now, people are going to look at it differently because she`s Miss USA.
HAMMER: And that`s exactly the case and I think that`s what making talking about, Mojo, that sometimes, people have to take into account especially in this age of technology and the fact that if you get taken -- if a photo gets taken of you doing anything, anywhere, there`s a good chance that people are going to see it at some point and it even could be used against you and I think that may be what is potentially going on here, but will it matter is kind of the question.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to the Miss USA folks. They didn`t have anything to say about this. No comment. Donald Trump who owns the pageant also no comment. Now, we all remember, I mentioned, the Carrie Prejean scandal last year with her racy photos that surfaced. Mojo, the thing is you put these photos on line to celebrate her big win. You`ve been a fan of hers --
MOJO: Right.
HAMMER: She`s a part of your radio show, and now, she`s Miss USA. Are you at all concerned this actually could backfire on her?
MOJO: I`ll be on the state and on our Web site since 2007, and we got contacted this morning by one of the big gossip blogs that said, hey, we got these photos. We`re going to go with it. We put them back on our site once that happened and put on a press release based upon what these guys were going to run with. I`ll tell you this, these photos are from 2007.
They`ve been on our site for a while. Rima has been on our show numerous times from 2007 until now, and I think that we should respect the fact that, here, we have an Arab-American woman who is the first to become Miss USA. And I think in this staying age, we should celebrate that instead of looking at these photos and saying that she`s too sexy for Miss USA.
HAMMER: Megan, especially given how sexy the Miss USA pageant has really become, do you think that these photos actually could realistically get the new Miss USA in hot water or probably not? And you`re a former Miss USA judge.
ALEXANDER: I think the Miss Universe organization is in a bit of a dilemma right now because of those contestant photos, very sexy, very racy, very seductive. So, in the past, A.J., a couple years ago, yes, I think she could be in hot water. But the Miss USA pageant has a bit of a problem now because they were endorsing sexy photos. And again, I`m just saying think twice about you do. That`s all I`m saying here is set those goals in life about what you want to aspire to and think twice because ith the internet nowadays, photos can pop up anywhere.
HAMMER: No question about that. I do want to move on to another explosive story making big news today. Russell Crowe has another major angry outburst, this time, ripping into a BBC reporter during a live radio interview.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
VOICE OF RUSSELL CROWE, ACTOR, BBC INTERVIEW: I`m just a little dumbfounded that you could possibly cannot find any Irish in that character. That`s kind of ridiculous.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So, what did the BBC reporter say to Russell that made him so mad? Megan, Mojo, stay right where you are. We`re going to have that in just a moment.
Moving on now to Kate Gosselin, who`s screaming for help today. I can hear her all the way from Pennsylvania to New York. Kate is begging for help with her kids, but what is going on?
Sex talk with Sarah. It`s my one-on-one today with "Sex and the City 2" star, Sarah Jessica Parker. Brand-new sex secrets revealed today.
Do you think we`re all a little too obsessed with sex or do you think that`s a really good thing?
It`s the sexy headline-making interview you`ll see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
And now, the "Showbiz News Ticker," more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: A big happy birthday shout out to YouTube which is celebrating its fifth birthday today and all this week. So, in honor of that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is now naming the top five most provocative YouTube stars ever. We`re going to name the number one most provocative YouTube star a little later on the show. You don`t want to miss that, but tight now, the countdown begins with number five. One of my favorites. It`s Miss Teen South Carolina, mangling a question at the Miss Teen USA pageant back in 2007.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: People out there in our nation don`t have that and I believe that our education, like such as in South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like such as --
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Good times. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, such as on HLN, news and views.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: YouTube is celebrating its fifth birthday this week. Can you believe it? Five years ago, we wouldn`t have been able to e-mail around the video of that piano-playing cat. So, in honor of YouTube`s fifth, we are naming the five -- top five most provocative YouTube stars of all time today.
And in at number four, that wild and wacky YouTube divorce lady who posted those outrageous rants about her soon-to-be ex.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He served me with a piece of paper that said he was divorcing me for cruel and inhumane behavior. The only cruel behavior I`ve ever done with that man is making my skin look (ph) in his cappuccino and I (INAUDIBLE) freshly made vegetable juice. I loved and adored him.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We have got you covered all the way in Cannes. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson right there at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival talking to all the big stars. And Brooke, I`m hearing you sat down with Jennifer Hudson who`s been really busy lately.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CNN CORRESPONDENT: A.J., Jennifer Hudson is in Cannes. She has a new baby, a new body, and a new film.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON (voice-over): She`s here drumming up excitement for the upcoming movie, "Winnie," in which she`ll play Winnie Mandela, ex-wife of Nelson Mandela. Jennifer is busy gal preparing for the film, being mom to 9-month-old Baby David, and working as the new spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. She told me she was highly motivated to slim down.
JENNIFER HUDSON, ENTERTAINER: I was preparing for the film. One of the things they were like, you know, we need you to get down to a certain size or weight for Winnie to fit the character. And they were telling me when they first offered me the idea of doing this and I was like, I`m not worried about the losing weight part. It`s the accent that I`m most concerned with.
The timing of things all fell in the same time. Having the baby and wanting your body back and then saying, okay, hmm, I want to do something different and then having a child and being an example for him as well.
ANDERSON: She looks fantastic and said she feels incredible. She also shared her excitement about becoming a mother.
HUDSON: It`s such a blessing, and I love it. He`s the best baby. He is so sweet. He is such a sweetheart.
ANDERSON: Now, Jennifer won`t be able to take Baby David with her to South Africa when she begins filming soon for ten weeks, but she plans to utilize Skype to see her little man as much as possible. Terrence Howard will co-star in "Winnie," playing Nelson Mandela. This is his first trip to illustrious Cannes.
TERRENCE HOWARD, ACTOR: To come here and to be with my wife, it`s the best feeling in the world.
ANDERSON: Terrence and his wife, Michelle, have been married for five months. Congratulations to them.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON (on-camera): And the celebrities just keep rolling in here to Cannes. Mick Jagger is touting Stones in exile about the making of the Stones album "Exile on Main Street". And this is the perfect place to premier the film as much of the album was recorded here in France back in 1970s -- A.J.
HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Brooke. That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson from the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.
Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, their super sexy dance. Tom finally opens up to Oprah today about how that all came about.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (voice-over): A lot of people didn`t really know what to think when they first saw it. We`ve seen Tom dance before, but dirty dancing is a whole new thing for him.
A new week, new problem for Lindsay Lohan. Is she about to be thrown in jail?
Plus, I got the first look at Lindsay as porn star, Linda Lovelace.
It`s sex talk with SJP. My revealing one-on-one with "Sex and the City" star, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Do you think we`re all a little too obsessed with sex or do you think that`s a really good thing?
I am expecting big thing from a new "Sex and the City" movie. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN, news and views.

At number three, she dreamed big and became a big star. Of course, I am talking about Susan Boyle`s amazing "Britain`s Got Talent" audition.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SUSAN BOYLE, SINGER (singing): I dreamed a dream in time gone by --
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, for the first time today, Tom Cruise finally speaking out about that sexy video he made with his wife, Katie Holmes, that went viral, big-time.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (voice-over): Now, Katie and Tom did this sexy song and dance number. Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets from the musical "Damn Yankees" for a benefit in L.A. and they got everybody talking and watching. Well, now, Tom is finally talking about it to Oprah. So, where the heck did this idea come from?
OPRAH WINFREY, HOST: What is that?
TOM CRUISE, ACTOR: That is from "Damn Yankees."
WINFREY: Yes.
CRUISE: Kate plays Lola. And a split (ph) charity for motion picture and television fund. Kate is a singer and a dancer and so, she said, let`s go do this. I thought that was fun --
WINFREY: You`re game for it?
CRUISE: Absolutely. Wherever she wants to go I`m like -- Whatever she wants to do, it was fun.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): It was fun, but it sounds it`s pretty clear who wears the pants in that marriage, if you know what I`m saying. Tom also told Oprah today that his daughter, Suri, who just turned four is already catching the showbiz bug.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CRUISE: She`s excellent in the set. Like, she will tell people to be quiet. She sits right there. I have a chair for her, you know, and she sits there, and she has head phones and watches the scenes and gives me notes sometimes afterwards. She will give me the thumb`s up if she liked it. And if someone stands in her way, you know, Kate made a film and the director got in front and was watching it. She looks at me like, she was grabbing the back of her jacket saying, move out of the way, I can`t see. After the take, she`ll run up to Kate and kiss her and say, that was great and run back.
WINFREY: She`s in it?
CRUISE: She`s in it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Hey, who knows, maybe Suri is going to show up in Mission Impossible 20.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (voice-over): Well, now, it`s for time for the showbiz lineup. Here`s what`s coming up in the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Kate Gosselin`s desperate plea for help today. Why is Kate begging for help with her kids?
Big Lindsay Lohan news breaking. Is she about to be thrown in jail. Also, your very first look at photos of Lindsay as porn star, Linda Lovelace.
And Woody Allen, coming to the defense of director, Roman Polanski today. You remember, Roman is under house arrest in connection with a 13- year-old child sex scandal.

HAMMER (on-camera): This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN, news and views.
Time now for "Showbiz News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, making news today.

HAMMER (voice-over): Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Russell Crowe explodes. Russell loses his temper again today. Reportedly swears and let loose with a fiery response to the reporter who dared to question his Robin Hood performance.

SJP and me, and we`re talking about sex.
Plus, more stories breaking today from the "Showbiz New Sticker", Seinfeld star, Jason Alexander, takes it off and country music star, Brad Paisley, gives back.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
HAMMER (on-camera): Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today.
It`s Kate`s plea for help. Kate Gosselin is begging and pleading for help raising her eight kids. She wrote a brand new blog, and in it today, Kate described her chaotic life at home and the stress of motherhood, but her weary words could actually backfire on her.
Right now, in New York, is Megan Alexander who`s a correspondent for "Inside Edition". Right now from Hollywood, Carlos Diaz who`s a syndicated radio host.
Guys, we`ll get to Kate in just a second, but I have to begin with Lindsay Lohan`s OB problem as I`m affectionately referring to it today. Lindsay got big court date on Thursday. She has got to show up. She has got to prove that she has taken all of her required classes for DUI probation or she could be hauled off to jail. The question is, where is Lindsay right now? She`s right where SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is, at the Cannes Film Festival, very far away from L.A. Lindsay is promoting her new film playing deeper porn star, Linda Lovelace. And in a brand new interview with Hollywood.TV that was recorded just before she left for Cannes, Lindsay said, yes, I`m fine.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: I`m busy right now (ph) to announce a movie. I just finished some more traffic school. So, I`ve been in compliance, which is really good. And my court date is coming up this week.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Are you a little nervous about your court date or you think everything is going to work out fine with that?
LOHAN: I think, I mean, I`ve been in compliance more than ever. So, it will take me about 2 1/2 weeks to be finished completely. So, I think it should go well.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. She`s confident. And she says she`s compliant, but here`s the thing, she does still have four more classes to go inside of three days before the court date, but she is in France. I`m thinking Lindsay going to Cannes right now is a very bad idea. And Megan, she very well could go from Cannes to be thrown in the can.
ALEXANDER: Excellent point. And here`s the thing, today is Monday and she needs to have four classes done by Thursday.
HAMMER: Right.
ALEXANDER: We`ve had some problems just flying lately over Europe, maybe a flight will be delayed. Lindsay is playing with fire to get there on time, A.J. And the judge in this case has said, no second chances.
HAMMER: Oh, yes.
ALEXANDER: And she said also that she is going to treat Lindsay hard and treat her like anybody else, and I hope she does.
HAMMER: No leniency and there shouldn`t be any leniency in this case or anybody who`s in Lindsay`s situation.
Now, I got to show you this brand new photo that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today of Lindsay as fame 1970s porn star, Linda Lovelace. Look at her. Now, as much of a risk as I think Lindsay is taking by skipping out on her traffic class, there are some people who might think, you know what, Lindsay has to do whatever it takes to get her career back on track. But, Carlos, with jail, possibly hanging over her head, I really think going to Cannes at this time was a stupid move.
CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: Well I think that I`m to blame for this, and I apologize, because I`ve been saying for four months on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Lindsay, come on, get back into the movies, do a compelling movie that I want to see, please do so. And now, this is a great movie. I mean, I think this would be a great opportunity for her as Burt Reynolds and Boogie Nights (ph). I mean, you know, doing a movie like this can really revive her career.
But you got to get your court`s stop done first. That`s the number one thing. And it`s not that she is at the Cannes Film Festival. It is that the Cannes Film Festival is in the south of France. If we could move to Cannes Film Festival to Los Angeles that might help her, but right now, she`s too far away geographically to get this done.
HAMMER: You know, I`m just thinking about it, Carlos, perhaps you should share some of the jail time with Lindsay if she gets thrown in the pokey. Maybe you do a little time because you`ve been telling her, hey, do whatever it takes to get your career back on track. It`s your fault, my friend.
Let`s move on now to Kate Gosselin`s desperate plea. You may have something to do with this, too, Carlos. She is pleading for help today. She wrote a brand new blog. Kate is begging for somebody, please, help me with my eight kids. Here is some of what she wrote on her blog.
I`m to the point where I hold up my hand and say, I`m not the complaint department. I never knew this tattling thing could be this emotional tiring and time-consuming, not until I had two almost ten-year- olds and six six-year-olds. That is -- help me.
All right. Now, these are obviously the struggles that any mom is going to face, Megan. I`m thinking, though, this may give ammunition to all the critics who say Kate needs to spend more time with her kids and less time away from her kids doing things like "Dancing with the Stars."
ALEXANDER: Oh, sure. And no doubt, being a good mom is a full-time job. Absolutely out hats off to all of the mothers. However, two problems here, A.J. When she was flying coast to coast for "Dancing with the Stars," I don`t recall a blog like this. Her being able to cram it all in. And so, how does she have time to even blog her thoughts when she`s taking care of eight kids? Just confuses me. I find it bit amazing, but her hands are full. She`s doing her best. Our sympathies.
HAMMER: Now, there is big word today that Kate is going to be a "Dancing with the Stars" correspondent for an entertainment show. Carlos, do you think that Kate`s blog shows maybe she doesn`t have time for chasing fame or are you with me that a lot of moms will actually sympathize with her balancing act.
DIAZ: I think moms will sympathize with her, but in light of, you know, all the criticism that she has gotten, you know, for being a coast to coast mom, she needs to kind of like, you know, temper what she is putting on the web.
HAMMER: Really, it is.
DIAZ: Really, it is. I have to say, you know what, the kids are great. I`m the best mom in the world. I can do other things. You know, she does have to earn that paycheck.
HAMMER: She is full control over what she writes in that blog. Maybe scale it back.
All right. I got to move on now to big news about Woody Allen defending Roman Polanski.
And "Celebrity Apprentice" finalist Bret Michaels is ready to show the world he is back on his feet. It`s all in the buzz today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (voice-over): Bret Michaels` miracle. Bret Michaels` miraculously survived a brain hemorrhage and now survived Donald Trump. The rock start was just picked for the season finale of the "Celebrity Apprentice". His appearance was taped months ago, and he is expected to appear on Sunday`s live finale. Bret`s docs say he is expected to make a full recovery.
Paging Dr. Murray. The doctor who accused of administering the drug that killed Michael Jackson comes to the rescue on an airplane. TMZ reports Dr. Conrad Murray helped an unconscious woman on a plane from Houston, hooked her up to an IV bag and stabilized her while the plane made an emergency landing. The woman is now reportedly out of the hospital.
Woody Allen says, leave Roman Polanski alone. Polanski is in Switzerland waiting to hear if he`ll be deported back to the U.S. to serve time for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1978.
The Cannes Film Festival, Allen just told the French radio station, Polanski has quote, "suffered and paid his dues." Allen broke up with Mia Farrow in 1992 after his affair with their 22-year-old adopted daughter.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): I mean, this is amazing of all people, Woody Allen coming in the defense of Roman Polanski, given all of his history. I`m thinking this is a topic, Megan, where Woody, even if he`s asked the question probably should defer and keep his mouth shut.
ALEXANDER: Absolutely. He should say no comment. The whole situation is very sad, A.J. Unbelievable, 33 years ago, that this all occurred with Roman Polanski, but I think, you know, there`s consequences for everything that you do. People continue to talk about it. I just think it`s a sad situation all together.
HAMMER: Carlos, are you like me? You know, we do these type of interviews. You understand why a reporter would ask him for his take on Roman Polanski, but to say, you know, hey, you know, the guy has done his time and had his pain, let him go. Probably not so smart.
DIAZ: Especially under the circumstances where you have Charlotte Lewis now coming forward and saying that, you know, Roman Polanski propositioned her as well when she was 16. I mean, the timing couldn`t have been worse for Woody Allen.
HAMMER: Woody, maybe you`re watching. If anybody asks you moving forward, think about it a little bit and maybe just don`t respond. It`s OK. Sometimes, you can say I don`t have a comment on that. We understand.
Megan Alexander, Carlos Diaz, I thank you guys.
We move on to Russell Crowe.

HAMMER (voice-over: He has a startling rant today. We have got to show you. You got to check out Russell getting all fired up when he was asked about his accent in his new movie, Robin Hood.
VOICE OF RUSSELL CROWE, ACTOR, BBC INTERVIEW: I`m just a little dumbfounded that you could possibly cannot find any Irish in that character. That`s kind of ridiculous.
Also, my one-on-one with Sarah Jessica Parker. She sits down with me to talk sex and all things "Sex and the City."
Do you think we`re all a little too obsessed with sex or do you think that`s a really good thing?
Me and Sarah talking sex the movie the "Sex and the City" sequel. I think it`s going to be a huge, huge hit.
And now, it`s time for the "Showbiz News Ticker," more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, making news today.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): A big happy birthday shout out today to YouTube today celebrating five big wonderful years of entertaining the world some of the wackiest videos we have ever known and seen. YouTube is obviously creating some of the biggest stars on the planet. So, in honor of that, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming the top five most provocative YouTube stars ever today including this guy, arguably Britney Spears number one fan.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All you people want is more, more, more, more, more. Leave her alone. You are lucky she even performed for you (EXPLETIVE WORD). Leave Britney alone.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Oh, the memories. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN, news and views.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Well, are you coming or not?
CROWE: Ask me nicely.
HAMMER (voice-over): And trust me, you better ask him nicely. More on that in a moment. Russell Crowe`s "Robin Hood" couldn`t steal the top spot at U.S. box office Iron Man 2, but Robin Hood earned a reported $200 million total around the world as its first weekend now.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (voice-over): Now, Russell Crowe is obviously a great actor. He`s always been a really good guy with me, but we all know, the guy has a temper. Today, a BBC reporter is the latest to get a dose of Russell`s rage. Wait until you hear Crowe`s fired up response when he was asked about his Robin Hood accent.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The accent that you`ve given him, there are hints to me of Irish, but what have you -- what were you thinking of in those terms?
CROWE: You have dead ears, man. You seriously got dead ears if you think that`s an Irish accent. I`m just a little dumbfounded that you could possibly find any Irish in that character but that`s kind of ridiculous.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well no. You we going for northern English?
CROWE: No. I was going for an Italian. Yes, missed it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER (on-camera): But, wait, there`s more. When Russell was asked about the reports out there that he objected to some dialogue in his classic movie "Gladiator." That`s the movie that earned him an Oscar, well, Russell was done. He tore off the microphone, he got up, and he left the interview. I think it is a good thing he didn`t have that Robin Hood bow and arrow with him at the time.
Well, it is time now for sex secrets with Sarah Jessica Parker on Hollywood`s A-list. I sat down with the star of the highly anticipated sequel, "Sex and the City 2" over the weekend. I can tell you, Sarah, who is now the mom of three kids, after having twin girls using a surrogate last year, she is just as sexy as ever. In fact, Sarah told me what she really thinks about the whole obsession over sex and if the new "Sex and the City" movie answers it.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
SARAH JESSICA PARKER, ACTRESS: I think this movie really is about tradition. This movie really is about tradition and how it fits into our lives and why we run toward it and away from it. And I think that sex or the role it plays in the lives of these women has very different ways of being illustrated on screen and Samantha`s tends to be the scandalous, bold rival portrayal and Cynthia is really an internal conflict about working (ph) being a woman and a wife and a mother.
And Kristin is healing (ph) this sense of where do I belong and this trisect in my house, and is this young woman a threat to me and am I still a sexy person, and Cary wants to keep this important, this kind of poetic literary idea of sparkle in her romance and her marriage, and that has to do with intimacy.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I don`t know which is worse.
PARKER: Samantha, the baby will tire eventually.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You and I are getting a little too Mr. and Mrs. Married. We have to work on the sparkle.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Sparkle?
PARKER: So, I don`t know it is an obsession by us, but I think that it`s something that we all feel comfortable talking about now. It`s not dinner conversation in our home but that`s because, you know --
HAMMER: Maybe with the kids, less appropriate.
PARKER: Yes.
HAMMER: But you bring up an interesting point. And I have to say, the timing of this film, it is hard to ignore that it is basically challenging the idea of what traditional marriage is at a time when we are constantly hearing about cheating and scandals and people having drama in their marriages. What do you think about the idea that a lot of couples really run into trouble because they allow the idea of marriage to define them as opposed to the other way around?
PARKER: Yes. I think that`s great. I think that, you know, the idea of being an individual and part of a couple, I think is really, really important, or at least that`s maybe what`s been important to me. And I think sometimes you get lost in convention. You get lost in tradition. You get lost in the idea of what society has said about this new partnership that you have entered into, and I think the thing that`s kind of most heart renting to me when I see a relationship fall apart is that I don`t know if people are talking anymore.
I don`t know if it`s just easier to walk away. And I think there was perhaps a time where we felt more compelled to work a little bit harder. I don`t know that that`s true. It`s just what I wonder.
HAMMER: So, obviously, the first film was wildly successful, perhaps beyond your expectations. I don`t know.
PARKER: Far beyond it. I didn`t have expectations.
HAMMER: But I have to imagine, doing the number two, you got to be feeling a little bit of pressure.
PARKER: I feel nothing but pressure. I just told a colleague of yours, I actually am a pressure cooker. I am a pressure cooker. I can`t imagine being cynical I said for the moment in time. I can`t imaging being (INAUDIBLE) about the next two weeks. I think, you know, we are here because we`re here by the good graces of our audience and their hospitality alone. And if we haven`t done our job well, they will tell us.
And it`s really, really important to me that we serve up something that is deserving of the kind of commitment they`ve made to us for all these years, and so, I`m nervous. I`m anxious. I feel pressure. I want the industry to believe that women go to movies. I want them to continue to make interesting movies for women, about women, with women. So, maybe, some of this is created by me, but I think that`s a good way to function.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: For the record, I don`t think that Sarah Jessica Parker or any of the women from "Sex and the City 2" have anything to worry about when it comes to women or men, for that matter, flocking to the theater for this film. It`s a lot of fun. It`s going to be in theaters on May 27th.
Right now, I will ask you in our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll today, "Sex and the City 2." Are we too obsessed with sex? What do you think? Vote at CNN.com/showbiztonight or e-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I tried and I love too (ph).

HAMMER: The showbiz on-call phone lines have been ringing like crazy today. A lot of people calling in about another shocking video, the one of the 8 and 9-year-old old girls dressed in skimpy outfits and dancing on stage very suggestively the Beyonce`s "Single Ladies".
We heard from Sarah in California and says these girls are definitely too young to be dancing like this.
CALLER: I`m a single mother with three little girls, two twins age 4 and a 5-year-old, and I just am completely blown away that anybody would even think this isn`t sexual. I think sex sells and that`s why Beyonce created this dance and does what she does. And for these little girls to be dressed and lessen their clothes and doing this thins is completely sexual.
HAMMER: Appreciate your call, Sarah. Now, Sandy from North Carolina called in and said, let the kids dance.
CALLER: Nobody is putting sex in it except for the adults, not the children. The adults and media. Leave the little girls alone and let them do their dance. There`s nothing about sex whatsoever in that dance.
HAMMER: All right. Sandy, thank you for your call.
We`d love to hear what you think about this. Call on Showbiz on-call, sound off on this or anything else at all for that very reason. We keep the Showbiz on-call phone lines open all the time. Here`s the number, 1- 888-SBT-BUZZ, 1-888-728-2899, give us a buzz, leave us a voice mail. We`d love to play your call right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
