(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, HLN HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Sandra Bullock`s divorce details revealed.

HAMMER: That`s right, Brooke. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the official final divorce decree that leaves no doubt about it. Sandra Bullock`s marriage to her cheating hubby, now ex-hubby, is officially over.

But wait, there`s more. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT also obtained an advance look today at the upcoming new issue of "People" magazine. And I want you to take a look at the cover of this thing, because, really, to me, this says it all, "Sandra`s New Life: The inside story, details of her fast divorce."

We learned extraordinary new details today of what exactly Sandra worked out with Jesse James and of what her new life is like as a single mother.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER (voice-over): From Oscar glamour couple to ex couple in just over 100 days. Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are now officially divorced, ripped apart by Jesse James` serial cheating.

MIKE FLEEMAN, "PEOPLE.COM": This was a lightning fast divorce. This is really unusual by Hollywood standards.

HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got the answers today to all of the burning questions everyone has been wondering about. Like how are Sandra and Jesse able to get divorced so quickly? And how are they doing after the divorce?

FLEEMAN: They`re keeping their distance, but they`re not making a point to be apart.

HAMMER: And the biggest question of all, if it really is over between these two, then why is Jesse moving halfway across the country to Austin, Texas, where Sandra lives? Here is a hint. It isn`t to root for the Longhorns.

FLEEMAN: Jesse has made it very clear from the beginning that he wants to try to win Sandra back.

HAMMER: Today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained this copy of Bullock and James` brand-new divorce decree from Austin. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can now tell you neither Sandra nor Jesse is paying or getting alimony. And neither one is paying or getting spousal support.

In fact, in their divorce Jesse and Sandra seemed to agree on just about everything.

FLEEMAN: This was as amicable as a divorce can get.

HAMMER: The upcoming new issue of "People" magazine that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today reveals the inside story behind the quickie divorce. "People`s" Mike Fleeman tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Bullock and James wanted and got a drama-free divorce.

FLEEMAN: They were able to get a quick divorce because, first of all, in Texas, you can get a quick divorce, 60 days.

HAMMER: And the quickie divorce helped Sandra`s adoption of her new six-month-old son, Louis, a process she started when she and Jesse were still together. Now, Sandra can finalize that adoption as a single mother.

FLEEMAN: This means now she can be what she`s always wanted to be - a mom.

SANDRA BULLOCK, ACTRESS: Can we please go back to normal because therapy is really expensive.

HAMMER: The happy, joke-cracking Sandra we have seen recently on awards shows on MTV and Spike is no-made-for-TV act. A source close to her tells "People" magazine, quote, "She`s bouncing back, having fun, spending all her time with Louis. She`s chilling out."

FLEEMAN: All those around her say she really in some ways never has looked happier.

HAMMER: In fact, things are so tranquil with his ex-wife Jesse James is moving to Austin, Texas, to be near Sandra Bullock.

FLEEMAN: Sandra has always been close to Jesse`s three children by his previous marriages, particularly to his youngest daughter, Sunny. And a lot of why Jesse is moving to Austin to be near Sandra is so that Sandra can continue with this relationship.

HAMMER: But does Jesse have another reason to move close to Sandra?

JESSE JAMES, SANDRA BULLOCK`S EX-HUSBAND: I still have hopes of saving, you know, some sort of relationship with Sandy.

HAMMER: He made clear on ABC`s "Nightline" he`s not ready to close the book on his relationship with Bullock. Does he want her back?

FLEEMAN: Sources close to Jesse and Jesse himself have said very clearly he wants to try to win her back. Now, those close to Sandra say this is ridiculous on the face of it. Yet, at the same time Sandra is very much about family, very much about forgiveness.

HAMMER: Considering that this A-list girl next door and this tattooed biker bad boy used to have Hollywood`s most unconventional marriage, it`s only natural that they have Hollywood`s most unconventional divorce.

FLEEMAN: People are still looking at them and saying, boy, they sure do things differently.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: They sure do things differently, which is why the brand new developments in Sandra and Jesse`s most unconventional divorce has people wondering - will they reconcile? Or are Sandra and Jesse working together for Baby Louis` sake?

Right now in New York is Jill Zarin, who is a cast member of "The Real Housewives of New York City" and author of this book, "Secrets of a Jewish Mother." And right now, from Hollywood, Jessica Weiner, who is a self- esteem expert and founder of the Actionist Network.

OK, ladies, I hold in my hand the Sandra Bullock-Jesse James divorce decree that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today. And I`ve got to say the speed, the civility of this divorce - incredible. No alimony, no spousal support. But, Jill, why do some people find it hard to believe that Sandra and Jesse could work this thing out so quickly?

JILL ZARIN, CAST MEMBER, "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK CITY": Because when they hear about Michael and Diandra Douglas and what`s going on now 10, 20 years after their divorce, that`s why.

Because they`re so used to people in Hollywood having these tortured divorces fighting over every nickel and dime. And here, both of parties walked away scot-free. There is nothing to fight over.

ANDERSON: Well, in the advanced issue of "People" magazine that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today, the story reveals that is Sandra`s speedy divorce actually clears the way for her to adopt Baby Louis as a single mom.

So here`s what I`m thinking, Jessica. Do you get the sense that Jesse and Sandra wanted to make this super easy, super speedy specifically for the sake of Baby Louis? Or do you think there`s something else going on here?

JESSICA WEINER, FOUNDER, ACTIONIST NETWORK: I think it actually is for the sake of the new Baby Louis and also the kids that are in play.

(CROSS TALK)

And I think that that`s something - as Jill was saying, it might be shocking from Hollywood`s point of view. But if this is true and if our speculation is right, then thank goodness that they`re considering somebody other than themselves in divorce.

Because as we know, kids` self-esteem plummets dramatically after their parents and co-parents get divorced. So this is a really beautiful step for them to forge the future for their family.

ANDERSON: After Jesse was so selfish in what he did, this is maybe least selfish thing that he can do.

WEINER: I think we have to separate that. I think within their personal relationship, his cheating was abysmal. And I think every woman in America would agree. But any mom in America would know it`s not always as black and white as looking at the relationship from the outside.

ANDERSON: That`s true. That`s true and they`re being very mature about it. It seems well. A lot of people have been saying today this peaceful divorce could possibly pave the way for a reconciliation between Sandra and Jesse.

But late today, we got the results to the brand-new SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll where we asked - "Sandra Bullock Divorce Finalized: Does Jesse James have any chance of winning her back?" Only eight percent said yes. Ninety-two percent said not a chance.

ZARIN: It`s better than the last poll.

ANDERSON: You know, Jesse - well, that`s true.

ZARIN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) the last poll?

ANDERSON: That`s true. Better than the last poll. But we know Jesse is selling his home here in California, picking up, trying to move closer to Sandra. It`s going to be hard not to spend time together while co- parenting. Jill, quickly, based on what we`ve learned today, do you think Jesse`s got a shot?

ZARIN: I don`t know. I really don`t know. I think that if he`s going there, he thinks he does and that`s all that counts. And if it`s - if Sandra wants back, it`s not for us to say not to take him back. It really isn`t.

WEINER: At least he`ll be there for the kids.

ANDERSON: That`s true. That`s true. Yes, they need both of their parents.

ZARIN: Exactly.

ANDERSON: In any way, shape or form. All right. I`ve got to move on now to the unbelievable connection that surfaced today between Sandra Bullock and Elizabeth Edwards.

Listen to this. In Elizabeth`s first interview since we learned she and John Edwards were splitting up over his cheating, she said on the "Today" show this morning that Sandra`s situation inspired her. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

E. EDWARDS: I think about Sandra Bullock who I don`t know at all - what an incredible year she`s had. She won the Academy Award for an incredible performance. And more than that she took that story and integrated it into her own life in this healthy, happy way.

And yet the stories you hear are not about all of those great successes, but about this - the failure of her marriage. And I thought that`s not who she is. And in a sense I know she - I don`t know her but I assume she wants to reclaim who she is in the same way I want to reclaim who I am.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Yes, I really admire both Elizabeth and Sandra for the way they`ve handled the fallout from their public marriage dramas. Jessica, how hard do you think though will it be for both of them to move on in the public`s eye?

WEINER: Well, I think it`s just terribly difficult, but incredibly hopeful. And if Elizabeth Edwards is any example of strength personified, I think Sandra Bullock is going to be able to reclaim, not only her life, but start to tell a different story.

You know, a lot of women have a sense of self-esteem wrapped up in who they`re married to and how much money they have. And not just famous people. All women kind of - can be - kind of fall privy to that.

ANDERSON: That`s their identity.

WEINER: Right.

ANDERSON: Yes.

WEINER: And so I think Sandra really is wanting to tell her own story. And I think Elizabeth is looking at her as a great example as someone who has the strength to call it back.

ANDERSON: They have both showed a whole lot of grace. And you know, there were even more big new revelations from Elizabeth Edwards today. Remember that explosive interview John Edwards` mistress, Rielle Hunter, did with Oprah?

Well, this morning the "Today" show`s Matt Lauer asked Elizabeth the question that everybody has had on their minds.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MATT LAUER, CO-ANCHOR, THE "TODAY" SHOW: When I watched Rielle Hunter on "Oprah Winfrey" do you know what I kept thinking?

E. EDWARDS: What`s that?

LAUER: I wonder if Elizabeth is watching this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wait until you hear how Elizabeth responded. It`s the very first time she`s ever spoken out about the Oprah interview. Jill Zarin, Jessica Weiner, stay right there.

HAMMER: All right. Moving on, Lindsay Lohan gone wild again. The incredible video out today of Lindsay`s bizarre, just out-of-control, dare I say, animal-like behavior during a photo shoot.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s almost a dangerous element to her presence. You never know what`s going to happen in the next 2.5 seconds. Is she going to bite you?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The Bieb`s mom in the buff? Justin Bieber goes totally ballistic over reports his mom might be posing for "Playboy."

And this - first daughter caught -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Caught on camera reading her notes.

JENNA BUSH, DAUGHTER OF FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: From me, from the people who like to jump out of the fast lane -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jenna Bush, Bristol Palin - the daughters of famous politicians who got their TV jobs because of their names, but they`ve been total disasters. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - here come more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Oprah`s" ratings last week were the lowest in the 24-year history of the show. "Twilight: Eclipse" breaks midnight box office records, pulling in $30 million.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KATHY GRIFFIN, COMEDIAN: Can you believe it? Here I am, walking up to Sarah Palin`s front door. It looks empty.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Well, at least Kathy didn`t knock on the door and run away. Kathy Griffin stopping by Sarah Palin`s house on her Bravo show, "Kathy Griffin Live on the D List." I`ll also thinking Kathy isn`t stopping by to ask for some sugar.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.

HAMMER: Brooke, I`m thinking maybe Sarah was out with her daughter Bristol perhaps getting some acting lessons. Let me tell you, Bristol could use them. Her upcoming performance on ABC Family`s "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" - it is getting totally panned today. And Bristol is just one of the first daughters - the daughters of big-name politicians whose TV careers are total flops.

Here is CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MOOS (voice-over): They`re the latest crop -

J. BUSH: It`s pretty beautiful here.

MOOS: Of daughters of famous politicians.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It was hilarious.

MOOS: To get jobs on TV, thanks to their names.

BRISTOL PALIN, SARAH PALIN`S DAUGHTER: Carl(ph), we have to get going.

MOOS: They have been going to morning news shows -

LAUER: Contributing correspondent Jenna Bush Hager -

MOOS: And a teen drama.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: On a shocking new "Secret Life," the visitor everyone is buzzing about.

B. PALIN: How did you know I had a baby?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Bristol Palin -

MOOS: Bristol plays herself - a teenage mom.

B. PALIN: We`re all teen moms and musicians - everyone in this program. The program is for teen moms.

MOOS: But reviews have been brutal based on a 30-second advance clip.

B. PALIN: The world`s greatest French horn player and I`m Yo-Yo Ma.

MOOS: Meryl Streep she isn`t.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I give her a W for wooden.

MOOS: "So wooden you could build a canoe out of it," noted one blog.

B. PALIN: Oh, I was nervous definitely, but I had a wonderful time.

MOOS: The daughter of Sen. Scott Brown didn`t seem nervous.

AYLA BROWN, DAUGHTER OF SEN. SCOTT BROWN: But to me, he`s just the guy who taught me to play basketball.

MOOS: Doing a profile of her dad on the CBS` "Early Show."

SEN. SCOTT BROWN (R-MA): Yes, they`re both available.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Are you scared or worried I won`t find someone. Is that why you said I was available?

S. BROWN: No, no. It was strictly as a joke.

MOOS: Bonnie Fuller, editor of "Hollywood Life," gave her a thumbs- up.

FULLER: She`s very natural on camera. She`s funny.

MOOS: Well, no wonder she`s more polished. She`s a singer who competed on "American Idol." But getting less respect is former President Bush`s daughter, Jenna.

J. BUSH: And from this magnificent turret.

MOOS: School teacher is now contributing to the "Today" show.

J. BUSH: And when you set foot in Yellowstone, everything seems to slow down.

MOOS (on camera): Yes, everything, including her delivery.

J. BUSH: Some visitors will sit for hours and never see wildlife or an eruption.

MOOS: She got caught on camera reading her notes.

J. BUSH: We`ll meet some of the people who like to jump out of the fast lane -

MOOS: There was some awkward chitchat with the anchors.

J. BUSH: A day at work.

LAUER: No, it`s not the - what`s the temperature there - what`s the temperature there this morning, Jenna?

J. BUSH: Oh, it`s pretty cold. The gloves, yes.

MOOS (voice-over): The reviews ranged from "painful" to "train wreck."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don`t think she`s too bad. I think that she`s got potential.

MOOS: But one person posted, "Without family connections, she couldn`t get a gig doing the farm report on a public access show in Kansas. They`re not beating around this Bush.

J. BUSH: The gloves -

B. PALIN: Me, too.

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And if you want to see Bristol Palin on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" to judge for yourself, well, the show airs Monday on ABC Family.

ANDERSON: Hey, A.J., you know what else is a total flop? This whole Jake and Vienna thing. Jake proposed to bad girl Vienna on "The Bachelor." Now, they split up - no shocker ere really. It`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Flashpoint today - can anyone find true love on TV?

Elizabeth Edwards` unbelievable revelations today. She`s speaking out for the very first time about the explosive interview her husband`s mistress gave to Oprah and why Elizabeth decided to leave her no-good, cheating husband once and for all.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

E. EDWARDS: I think I did marry a marvelous man. I think that he changed over time. And it could not be more clear to me then. I think it was sort of hard for me to see it or admit it for a very long time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: And this is totally disgusting. Accused murder Joran Van Der Sloot is demanding $1 million for an interview with him. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Time now to roll out And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

But TMZ says Will`s iPad has a built-in tracking device so he was able to track down the thief and forward the info to the cops.

A.J. everybody shocked over the news that Larry King is leaving his CNN show after 25 years.

HAMMER: Yes. Me among them, Brooke. Larry has interviewed anyone who is anybody. Larry says he`s done 50,000-plus interviews over his 50- plus year career. Take a look at some of Larry`s emotional moments in his announcement.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": I talked to the guys here at CNN, and I told them I would like to end "LARRY KING LIVE," the nightly show, this fall, and CNN has graciously accepted to agree to it, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids` little league games.

With that chapter closing, I`m looking forward to the future, what my next chapter will bring. But for now, for here, it`s time to hang up the nightly suspenders.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: No big surprise right after that some big stars called in - Diane Sawyer, Regis Philbin. And some even tweeted - Ryan Seacrest among them. He wrote, "You`re a legend, one of a kind."

Marlee Matlin wrote, "Big shoes to fill." Jimmy Kimmel joked, "Not funny, Larry. Stop playing." And Brooke, the good news here, Larry`s not going away. He`s just altering course.

ANDERSON: Yes, he is. You know, viewers are going to miss Larry every night and I will miss seeing him here around the office.

E. EDWARDS: What`s that?

LAUER: I wonder if Elizabeth is watching this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The Bieb`s mom in the buff? Justin Bieber goes ballistic over reports his mom might be posing for "Playboy."

Lindsay Lohan gone wild. The incredible video out today. And Lindsay`s bizarre, out-of-control behavior during a photo shoot.

HAMMER: Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - new health concerns for Bret Michaels and Madonna`s kid shows off her style today.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - inside Elizabeth`s heartache.

HAMMER: Elizabeth Edwards broke her silence today about the painful end to her 32-year marriage with John Edwards. She does not hold back today about what she really thinks about John`s mistress, Rielle Hunter, and that infamous interview Rielle did with Oprah. And you better believe Elizabeth gave her two cents on Rielle`s pant-less "GQ" photo shot.

Right now, with me in New York, Cooper Lawrence who is a syndicated radio host and author of "The Cult of Celebrity." Right now, from Hollywood, Jessica Weiner, who is a self-esteem expert and the founder of the Actionist Network.

So Elizabeth Edwards spoke out on NBC, on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE," in "People" magazine. This was all to promote the paperback version of her book, "Resilience." And I`ve got to say I am impressed she kept silent for so, so long especially after Rielle Hunter`s bombastic interview on Oprah.

That`s the one where Rielle showed no remorse for her affair. Let`s have a quick reminder of that doozy of an interview, shall we?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RIELLE HUNTER, JOHN EDWARDS` MISTRESS: It is not my experience that a third party can - wrecks a home. I believe the problems exist before a third party comes into the picture.

OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": So you don`t think you wrecked his home?

HUNTER: I do not believe I wrecked his home.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Well, this morning on NBC`s "Today" show, Elizabeth said what she really felt about that outrageous interview. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

E. EDWARDS: At first I didn`t watch it and then I thought, well, that`s silly.

LAUER: What did you think?

E. EDWARDS: I still think this person is so completely unlike me that it`s hard to imagine the same person could marry me and be attracted to that woman as well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Cooper, I continue to be impressed by Elizabeth Edwards. I can`t believe she was so restrained. That was pretty remarkable to me.

COOPER LAWRENCE, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST AND AUTHOR: And I love her book is called "Resilience" because she`s unbelievable resilient. But you know, there`s actually research on people with terminal cancer and the end- of-life decisions they make.

And either, they go one way or the other. Either they go into depression, possible suicide - that sort of thing. Or they just shuck all the negativity and decide, "I`m going to have the rest of my life be as positive as possible." So that`s what she`s doing and it`s just - it`s so encouraging.

HAMMER: Yes. It really is and it seems clear to me and a great example for all of us. You know, you don`t need to spend all that bad energy and have that floating around you. You can really try to be positive about the worst possible things.

LAWRENCE: Exactly. And all of us should do that right now. Just because your life is ending - right now, start now.

HAMMER: Well, she certainly did have a lot to be ticked off about. We can`t forget Rielle`s infamous pant-less "GQ" photo shoot.

In an interview airing tonight on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE," Larry asked Elizabeth the question we`ve all been wanting to know the answer to - what did Elizabeth think about that shoot? Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KING: Photos accompanying that "GQ" article caused a lot of fuss. "People" magazine quoted a friend of yours as saying you were disgusted by the pictures. Is that a correct quote?

E. EDWARDS: I don`t know that I used that word. Somebody may have. I did see the pictures, and I think it`s really important when you`re a mother to convey that, you know, that`s the role you value.

And I think she just had probably too many T`s to cross. She also wanted to be viewed as sexy and everything else. And you know, it was like - you know, at some point, you know, you can be sexy but that can`t be your goal.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: What an interesting perspective. Jess Weiner, off to you, is it just me or is Elizabeth there basically saying in the nicest possible way - Rielle, pretty trampy?

WEINER: Yes, I think Elizabeth Edwards is an incredibly restrained and eloquent woman who doesn`t need to talk about how trashy her husband`s mistress is on national TV because we can all see it in the way Rielle walks around and presents herself.

I think that what Elizabeth shows any woman out there who is struggling with heartache, heartbreak, divorce, terminal illness - it is, as Cooper mentioned before, you`re looking at life on the other side of things now.

Who John Edwards is now isn`t the person she married. And that happens to all of us in relationships. And I think she is a strong example for her children and for everyone else out there that you move forward. And that is what it means to really live your life.

HAMMER: Yes. And, wow, what a hellacious year Elizabeth has been through. I mean it really is unbelievable for us to even fathom her stage 4 cancer is getting worse. She`s still getting very powerful chemo treatments.

She`s battling tumors in her legs and in her hips. During all this, she finally - finally decides to leave her cheating husband John. Well, this morning she told Matt Lauer why she made the decision to leave him once and for all. Watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

E. EDWARDS: I think it was just that finally I realized we`d just come so far down this road that there was - I wasn`t going to ever find a place where - I hate to talk about myself in the third person, but where Elizabeth existed anymore. I was going to be entirely reactive and I didn`t - I wanted to be present in the remainder of my life.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: In light of the fact she`s battling an aggressive cancer and has no idea how long she has left to live and she`s got two young children, Brooke Anderson, to you, I have to imagine it had to be an absolutely gut- wrenching decision to finally leave him.

ANDERSON: Absolutely. I cannot imagine how difficult this has been for her, A.J. Her world has collapsed around her, and she said in one of the interviews that anytime, over the years, when things got tough, she and John had each other. She leaned on John.

They were married for nearly 33 years. They do not have each other in the same way anymore. She does not have him to lean on. She`s rebuilding. She`s redefining her life, and she`s doing it with a lot of dignity. She should be very, very proud.

HAMMER: Yes. And I think what`s really interesting is how she`s going about it. Elizabeth isn`t divorcing John. She`s separated from him. She says, well, she`ll divorce him one day if they decide - if John decides to remarry. Does that make sense to you, Cooper?

LAWRENCE: Yes. I mean, she`s going through a really common experience - take out who she is and who he is. You know, your identity is so caught up in your marriage, especially after all those years, and you become us rather than me.

So now, she`s getting to the point where she`s becoming an individual person. So any choice he makes from here on in has nothing to do with her. She`s separating from that.

And whether she`s dying or whether she`s going to live forever, it`s still the healthiest choice for her to make. And she`s making it and it`s, again, a great example.

HAMMER: And how courageous that she`s putting it out there again, separate from her book, but on TV. And also, she did a terrific interview with "People" magazine. She revealed her feelings about those reports that these days, John Edwards actually goes to bars and picks up women.

Listen to what "People" magazine told George Stephanopoulos this morning on "Good Morning America" about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s seen the tabloid reports. She pointedly didn`t dispute them. And then she says fairly nonplussed that, you know, "He`s made new friends and I need to give him the space to do that." He will be a healthier, happier person if he finds people that don`t have the disappointment in him that she has.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`ve got to tell you something. The women on these SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff were just stunned that Elizabeth would be so gracious about John out there in bars picking up women.

Jess, do you get it? I think I know why she`s saying this back to the original point Cooper was making.

WEINER: Yes, I do get it and I think we have to remember that before Elizabeth Edwards was thrust into this tabloid fodder based on her, you know, ex-husband`s affairs, she was this really ballsy, out-there woman talking about policy issues and health issues and a real leader in her own right. And I think what we`re seeing is leading exemplified.

It may not match all of us, you know, who think, "Oh, my gosh, I would want to kill my husband or ex-husband if he did that." But I think she has those moments, too. I think she`s incredibly human. But we have to remember that before she was kind of talked about in "People" magazine for these issues, she was out there fighting a good fight in politics as well.

LAWRENCE: Yes. And it also speaks to the fact that she is still an individual woman, as Jess was saying. But it`s more than that. It`s the fact that, you know, she now has to take the rest of her life and have it have meaning so her legacy isn`t the woman who was cheated on by the politician by this little tartlet.

WEINER: Exactly.

LAWRENCE: You know, she has to find a way to change her image now. It`s now or never.

HAMMER: We`re here to help, you know.

LAWRENCE: Absolutely.

WEINER: Me, too.

HAMMER: Cooper Lawrence, Jess Weiner, thank you, both. I appreciate it.

ANDERSON: All right. Shifting gears here, I`m a huge fan of "The Bachelor." I really get a kick out of that show. And I`ve got to tell you, I was really hoping that Jake and Vienna would make it work.

So much for that, because this is one of the nastiest breakups I`ve ever seen. It`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - can anybody find true love on TV?

Lindsay Lohan - this girl has gone wild again. Lindsay`s outrageous photo shoot antics had people on the set running for their lives. Lindsay is on the prowl and nobody is safe.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I literally need to think of myself as a wildlife photographer. I am waiting by the waterhole. The lioness is coming out.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: He`s accused of murder in Peru and suspected in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Outrageous bombshell reports making news today - Joran Van Der Sloot wants to get paid $1 million to tell all? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Bret Michaels still experiencing pain, short-term memory loss and fatigue. Madonna and her daughter, Lourdes, to unveil "Material Girl" clothing line in August.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`ve been hired to shoot the campaign for Lindsay Lohan`s 6126 legging line and she`s eight hours late at this point. I`m very concerned that the shoot is not going to happen.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Lindsay Lohan making big news today after appearing in a brand-new reality show acting bizarrely and completely out of control.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: And we are all over Lindsay`s incredible mess today. The outrageous new video out today of Lindsay`s brazen behavior at a photo shoot.

I can tell you that the heat is on Lindsay after the latest episode of Bravo`s new reality show, "Double Exposure." Lohan not only finally arrived nearly 11 hours late to the shoot that she organized to promote her new line of leggings. But let me tell you, she acted downright loopy. Wait until you see this.

With me right now in New York, Jill Zarin who is a cast member of "The Real Housewives of New York City." And from Hollywood, Hyla, who is an entertainment journalist with "5DollarPrep.com."

Jill, Hyla, I`ve got to say, I am speechless today after watching Lindsay`s outrageous behavior. Never mind that she showed up 11 hours late. Listen to what the photographer says about her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Look at her. It`s amazing.

LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: Oh, my god. Oh, my god. Oh, my god.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I am excited.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There`s almost a dangerous element to her presence. You never know what`s going to happen in the next 2.5 seconds. Is she going bite you? Is she just going to leave?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Yes, compared working with her to working with animal. Lindsay has had enough trouble getting hired for anything because she is so unreliable, so unpredictable. Hyla, I don`t think this new video is going to do anything to improve her reputation.

HYLA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST, "5DOLLARPREP.COM": You know, I`m a little disappointed in SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, because, you know what? There really isn`t anything wrong.

Listen, Lindsay definitely puts herself in a position for us to go after her, doing stupid stuff, driving, cocaine in the pocket, falling down and walking out of the club. She does a lot.

What did she do here? It is a photo shoot. It`s supposed to be light. It`s supposed to be fun. It`s supposed to be silly. That`s what she`s supposed to do.

ANDERSON: What? Nearly 11 hours late, Hyla? How can you defend her when she was showing a complete lack of respect for other people`s time, other people`s money?

ZARIN: I`m with Brooke.

HYLA: Here`s the problem -

ANDERSON: Jill, go ahead. We`re having technical issues with Hyla`s mike. Go ahead, Jill.

ZARIN: OK. You said exactly what I was thinking - 11 hours late. I`d like to know, Lindsay, in what photo shoot world do you start a photo shoot at 11:00 at night? It`s one thing even if you - you can lie and get away with two or three hours late and say, "We were supposed to start at 11:00 when it was really 9:00."

But to say it was supposed to start when you arrived, which is 11:00, is a lie. And no respect for anybody at all.

ANDERSON: Yes. No respect. And she`s a real mess.

ZARIN: A mess -

ANDERSON: And I just don`t see how anybody could condone this type of behavior. And I`ve got to say that the entire time that Lindsay appeared in the show, she did act like a mess.

I`m still scratching my head over why she would jeopardize this shoot that she commissioned to promote her own leggings line. The photographer refers to her as if she were a zoo animal. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK. Here she is. Here she is. Oh, I love that look. That`s amazing.

LOHAN: I did this on (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You made that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Wow, you are so talented.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I literally need to think of myself as a wildlife photographer. I`m waiting by the waterhole. The lioness is coming out and I have one second to catch her because she`s going to move so fast.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Hyla, how can you say nothing is wrong with what she did?

HYLA: Because this is such a joke. This is typical reality television. Here, in last week`s episode, you have everybody on the show dogging her, saying she`s unprofessional. It`s costing them so much money.

And the, a week later, which is really a couple minutes or an hour later in reality show time, Lindsay walks in, "Lindsay you`re so beautiful. You`re so sexy. Those leggings are awesome. Oh, I love it."

This is why celebrities get away with being crazy because they`re never called out. Guess what? If she was late, you know what would be good reality TV? When she walked in, say, "Lindsay, you cost us $100,000. You give us a check and we`re not shooting it." That`s good reality TV.

(CROSS TALK)

ANDERSON: I agree. I was disappointed with how she was treated and how she was spoken to -

ZARIN: I agree.

ANDERSON: Like nothing was wrong when she walked in the door.

HYLA: They love her. They love her.

ANDERSON: But at the same time, they had a job they had to get done, Hyla.

HYLA: I understand, but once she was there she acted like any normal person does on a photo shoot - fun, light, sexy.

ANDERSON: What?

HYLA: That`s what you`re supposed to do.

ZARIN: Well, you know, I happen to -

ANDERSON: I`m sorry. Go ahead, Jill.

ZARIN: I like the show with the photographers. And I think they`re very real. And I thought he was being a little phony to her and he was really kissing her butt.

ANDERSON: Yes.

ZARIN: And you know, I wish he would have really gone after her and treat her like the way he treats other people.

ANDERSON: Yes. And to me, sadly, it`s all - her behavior is indicative that things are worse and not better in her life, unfortunately. But if you guys think that`s outrageous, you`ve got to check this out.

There were brand-new reports today that accused murderer, Joran Van Der Sloot, wants a possible $1 million payday. He`s sitting in a Peruvian jail, accused of killing a woman there, remains the main suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Now he`s reportedly asking for $1 million for his first jailhouse interview. Hyla, my blood boils thinking somebody might actually pay this psycho. But as sick as it sounds, do you think it could happen?

HYLA: Now, this is a story I think we can all agree on. It`s pretty disgusting. And the reality is, $1 million is kind of cheap. I think he could get more. He is nationally - excuse me, worldwide-known.

And whoever can score this first interview is going to be huge ratings. And at the end of the day, we know what this business is all about. It`s about ratings.

ANDERSON: Yes.

HYLA: And if you can bring in a lot of people to watch, you`re going to pay $1 million.

ANDERSON: We`ll see what happens. Hyla, Jill Zarin, thank you both.

HAMMER: Wonder Woman gets a makeover today. Did you see this? I want you to check out the comic book hero and her new crime fighting costume. Wonder Woman is wearing a whole lot more than she used to, if you know what I`m saying.

All that red, white, and blue replaced by red, black, and covered up - certainly a far cry from her original getup. You remember the one-piece bathing suit and red go-go boots. Check out Wonder Woman`s new jacket.

Hey, Brooke, I wonder if that`s where Wonder Woman is going to keep the keys to her invisible jet.

ANDERSON: Oh, maybe, A.J. But I`m still pretty sure she`s going to be able to take out the bad guys. In addition to her new look, Wonder Woman`s story line getting a makeover, too. The brains behind her new look just revealed today he wanted her to look strong without screaming, "I`m a super hero." Hard to believe, A.J., wonder woman debuted 69 years ago. I`ve always loved Wonder Woman.

HAMMER: Unbelievable. And the invisible jet. The new wonder woman is going to appear in an upcoming issue of "DC Comics." And you know, there continues to be a lot of buzz surrounding a proposed Wonder Woman movie. You never know. Wonder Woman`s new look could be on the big screen soon. We will have to wait and see.

ANDERSON: OK. Moving to this now - the Bieb`s mom in the buff? Justin Bieber goes ballistic over reports his mom might be posing for "Playboy." Was she really propositioned to pose topless for top dollar. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Madame Tussauds planning new Kim Kardashian wax figure. Eminem`s "Recovery" sells 714,000 copies; biggest sales debut in two years.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Bombshell new details about the big "Bachelor" breakup. And the Bieb goes ballistic over reports his mom might pose for "Playboy." It`s all in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Bieber goes ballistic over reports his mom will be posing for "Playboy." The teen sensation just responded for the first time to reports his mother might pose topless, which she`s denied.

The Bieb tweeted, "My mom is a moral woman. Let`s just leave that one for what it is because that rumor just grossed and weirded me out."

"The Bachelor" breakup blowup. We`re just learning about an explosive confrontation between former "Bachelor" couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi when they taped their reunion special.

ABC put out a press release - yes, a press release - revealing Vienna called Jake a, quote, "liar and fame whore" and denied she cheated on him and stormed off the set in tears. So why a press release about this? Because the show airs next week.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: I think that "The Bachelor`s" Jake and Vienna have set a new record going from Rose Ceremony to War of the Roses in a mere three months. And that brings us to today`s SHOWBIZ Flashpoint. Do you believe anyone can find true love on TV?

Right now, in New York, someone who spends a lot of time on TV, Jill Zarin, one of the stars of the hit reality show, "The Real Housewives of New York City." Jill, facts are facts. Since "The Bachelor" made its debut in 2002, listen to this, only one bachelor has gotten married and that was to a runner-up.

So to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, Jill, do you believe anyone can find true love on TV?

ZARIN: Well, yes. I think you answered the question that one person did. But you know, I met those two at "Dancing with the Stars." And I think she`s accusing him of being a media whore, and I`ve got to say that`s the pot calling the kettle black because the two of them could not get enough of the cameras at all.

HAMMER: Well, that`s exactly the point. Vienna calls Jake a fame whore. Jake says Vienna sold him out to the tabloids. Now, ABC is hyping their reunion special. And to me, it`s not a reunion. It`s a reunion smackdown.

ZARIN: Exactly.

HAMMER: Are you with me something is a little twisted about that, Jill.

ZARIN: Oh, the whole thing is twisted, but it brings ratings and they get four or five pages in the weekly magazines. And to me, the whole thing was set up from the beginning.

I never thought there was a real connection there. I thought they both had an agenda. I never thought they`d actually get married. I think the whole thing was a media stunt. That`s my opinion.

HAMMER: You and your husband Bobby thankfully did not meet because of the TV. And I think that`s one of the reasons it`s working out. That`s just me.

ZARIN: It is. You know, he came by today. He`s here.

HAMMER: Well, please tell him I say hi.

ZARIN: I will.

HAMMER: Jill Zarin, thank you very much. Now, we heard from Jill. We want to hear from you. This is how it works. It`s our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll - "Jake and Vienna`s "Bachelor" Breakup: Do you believe anyone can find true love on TV?"
