HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City
ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - a mind-boggling number of disturbing reality show shockers.
HAMMER: And we begin with the bigamy bombshell breaking today. It may be true that the family that sleeps together, stays together. But if you are breaking the law by doing that, I`m thinking that it`s probably not a good idea to do a TV show about it.
Police in Utah confirmed today that they have launched a bigamy investigation over a brand-new TLC reality show called "Sister Wives." It seems the husband on the show and his apparent three wives, with a fourth on the way, may be breaking the law and openly flaunting it, which is why SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you this could very well turn into one very big bigamy backfire.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over): Reality shows about families with multiple children?
JON GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON AND KATE PLUS 8": It might be a crazy life -
KATE GOSSELIN, REALITY TV STAR, "JON AND KATE PLUS 8": But it`s our life.
HAMMER: "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" are so 2008. Now, we`re getting reality shows about multiple wives.
KODI BROWN, "SISTER WIVES" HUSBAND: Love should be multiplied, not divided.
HAMMER: TLC`s new show, "Sister Wives," which just premiered, featured Utah salesman Kodi Brown, his three wives -
MERI BROWN, KODI BROWN`S WIFE: My name is Meri. I`m Kodi`s first wife.
K. BROWN: This is Janelle. This is my wife, Christine.
HAMMER: And their 13 children as they prepare to bring a fourth wife into the mix.
K. BROWN: I feel like that we should invite Robyn to come into our family.
HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you the Browns are learning an important lesson today - if you`re living a secret, possibly illegal life, it`s probably best not to do a nationally-televised reality show about it.
K. BROWN: I like marriage and I`m a repeat offender.
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can confirm today that police in Lehi, Utah are investigating Brown and his wives for, surprise, surprise, violating state laws against bigamy.
MAGGIE FURLONG, HOST, "THE SHOW GIRL" ON AOL TV: It`s a bigamy charge, which is a class three felony.
HAMMER: The cops, who say they rarely investigate bigamy cases, say it was the Brown`s reality show that sparked their investigation.
K. BROWN: I just fell in love. And then I fell in love again. And I fell in love again.
FURLONG: I think everyone thought the same thing when "Sister Wives" was announced. It was like, "Hah, it`s illegal. How are they going to put that on TV and not get in trouble?"
HAMMER: HBO`s fictional show, "Big Love," also features a polygamous family -
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I will not allow them to keep persecuting us like this.
HAMMER: But the fictional family depicted in that show worked very hard to keep their arrangement secret. No reality shows for them.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m a polygamist.
HAMMER: And now that the Browns starring in a reality show has led to them starring in a criminal investigation, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking why the heck would they go on TV with something that could land them in jail?
Even the cops in Utah are shocked. A police spokesman is quoted today telling "The Salt Lake Tribune," "Most of the time, people don`t bring this kind of attention onto themselves."
K. BROWN: Going public is very intimidating.
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT went one-on-one with the Browns in Los Angeles before the show premiered. And they told us they knew there would be risks.
K. BROWN: We feel like we have a story worth-telling. And that was the major reason we wanted to come out and experience the exposure.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The benefits that would - can come from this situation far outweigh the risks.
HAMMER: The Browns are reacting today for the first time to the news that cops are investigating them on possible felony bigamy charges.
Here`s what they told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation. But when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking."
FURLONG: Their entire mission with their show is basically being crushed.
HAMMER: But AOL TV`s Maggie Furlong tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she thinks the police investigation revealed today may complicate the Browns` efforts to promote polygamy acceptance.
FURLONG: I know in this country, it`s innocent until proven guilty. But you hear the police are investigating things and you hear they may take it to the higher level and you automatically think, "OK. They`re doing something wrong."
HAMMER: So now, we all have to wait and see if this reality show is criminal or just unconventional. One thing we do know for sure, if the cops end up arresting the Browns -
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There`s three separate marriages -
HAMMER: They`re going to need one big paddy wagon.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
Well, we reached out to TLC today about this police investigation and they have no comment. But you`ve got to wonder if this family is now regretting that they agreed to put their controversial lifestyle, their relationships and their kids on this new reality show.
With me in New York, Sunny Hostin, who is a legal contributor for "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV. From Hollywood, it`s Rachel Zalis who is a contributor with "Life and Style Weekly."
So "Sisters Wives" not the only show that`s under fire today. There`s also this big controversy today about the show "Raising Sextuplets." Now, this is the show. You`ve probably seen it. It features the Masche family.
And today, we learned that the mom, Jennifer, has filed for legal separation after her husband, Bryan, was arrested after a fight in Arizona. And this leads to our "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint" - are reality shows destroying families?
Sunny, what do you think? I mean, the track record is not good.
SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, "IN SESSION" ON TRU TV: It is not good. I actually - I can`t even really wrap my brain around this "Sister Wives" family because it`s already sort of freaky and unusual and unconventional. So I don`t think that that family was sort of the normal family that was intact.
But in terms of, yes, you know, destroying families, of course. I mean, family life is difficult anyway. When you shine that light on it -
HAMMER: Yes.
HOSTIN: You see all the flaws, all the imperfections. It`s got to be difficult. I think, yes, it`s certainly destroying many, many American families. No question.
HAMMER: And then when there`s additional drama, it just pours fuel on the fire. I`ve got to say I feel sorry for all the kids in reality show families, like the Masches, the Browns in "Sister Wives." The kind of scrutiny that their moms and dads are now under cannot be easy for them to handle.
Rachel, I want to get your take on our "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint." Do you think reality shows destroy families?
RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Absolutely. And it`s also - I`m convinced the highest rate of divorce now is not from cheating but being on a reality show. I mean, Jessica Simpson, Carmen Electra, Britney Spears - they all were on reality shows and then got divorced.
So there`s obviously something about the magnification of what goes on with your real life that is causing this split. And obviously, the Gosselins as well, so I think it`s a tough one.
HAMMER: Brooke Anderson, I want to bring you in here, as a mom - I, for one, am so glad that Masche sextuplets - not me as a mom, but you. I`m glad the Masches with the sextuplets, who just turned three - you know, these kids are too young to know their parents are -
ANDERSON: Thank goodness.
HAMMER: Possibly separating right now before the world`s eyes. I mean, that is at least the one silver lining here.
ANDERSON: Right. Thank goodness, A.J. And yes, the marriage really does seem to be falling apart. Listen to this - Bryan Masche was arrested earlier this month while visiting relatives in Arizona and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and threatening domestic violence. And now, the news that his wife filed for legal separation just days later.
Sunny, any marriage falling apart is tough enough. But it can`t help when it`s happening before the cameras. It`s just got to make it worse, doesn`t it?
HOSTIN: It has to. And I`ve got to say, I really feel for the children. I`m a mom also, Brooke, as you know. I have two small children. And just the thought of putting them through that - they`re on television. They`re scrutinized. Their family life is scrutinized.
And I just have to say, I think - what are these people thinking when they decide to put their families on television? What are they thinking?
ANDERSON: Yes. And these children did not ask for this. They did not ask for this type of lifestyle, for everything to be magnified, as Rachel said. And unfortunately, in a brand-new episode airing this Thursday, it`s pretty clear to me that Bryan and Jenny Masche have been struggling in their marriage for quite a while. Watch how Bryan describes how he feels about the way Jenny talks to him.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BRYAN MASCHE, REALITY TV STAR, "RAISING SEXTUPLETS": Hey, everybody, give mommy a clap.
JENNY MASCHE, REALITY TV STAR, "RAISING SEXTUPLETS": I can`t believe I freaking did that.
ANDERSON: And before long, tempers flare.
B. MASCHE: Because you`re being very condescending and very emasculating. That`s what Kate did to Jon. Are you going to keep being a baby or are you going to -
J. MASCHE: What are you doing? Are you still going to be a jerk?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Yikes! Comparing the relationship to that of another famous reality show couple, Jon and Kate Gosselin, Rachel, I don`t think that bodes well for the way this family might turn out. Do you think that they are regretting that they agreed to star in a family reality show in the first place?
ZALIS: Absolutely. I mean, I think it`s hard enough to raise children on your own but then to have all the cameras involved - and I think he`s a wuss, though, for trying to compare himself to Jon Gosselin. I mean, be a man. Handle the relationship.
ANDERSON: Yes.
ZALIS: He`s given really weird quotes about once they`re stuck in this relationship they can`t get out. You know, do things, you know, better than that.
ANDERSON: Yes. It seems all too negative. Be positive and be a man. Great point. OK. And there`s another reality show shocker today, ladies. It`s possibly the biggest oops in reality show history after the host of "Australian Top Model" announces the wrong winner.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my god. I don`t know what to say right now. I`m feeling a bit sick about this. No.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: You do not want to miss how that one went down, down under. Sunny Hostin, Rachel Zalis, thanks.
HAMMER: All right. I`ve got to move on right now to the Sarah Palin dancing factor. I actually think it was pretty cool for Sarah to show up and support her daughter, Bristol, on "Dancing with the Stars." But did Sarah really get booed on the show?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BROOKE BURKE, CO-HOST, "DANCING WITH THE STARS": There`s booing in the ballroom. We don`t know why.
JENNIFER GREY, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: Why are they booing? Why are they booing?
BURKE: I don`t know. All right, everybody. You know what to do. Support them right now with your votes.
TOM BERGERON, CO-HOST, "DANCING WITH THE STARS": All right. Thank you, Brooke. I`m here with guest ballroom commentator, Sarah Palin.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: And we`re also daring to ask today, is Sarah Palin influencing the votes?
OK. I get why Katy Perry and her sketch got cut from "Sesame Street." Maybe her dress was a bit too provocative for that show. But I`ve got the brand-new evidence today that Katy may have gotten a raw deal. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS, ACTOR (as Gordon Gekko): So what about money, Jake? You like her?
SHIA LABEOUF, ACTOR (as Jake Moore): Do I like her? I`ve never thought about money as a she.
DOUGLAS: Oh, she lies there in the bed at night with you, looking at you, one eye open. Money never sleeps.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: It`s the "Wall Street" wonder again. Twenty-three years after the original "Wall Street," Gordon Gekko strikes a chord again. "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" debuting at number one at the box office, making $19 million.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.
And today, A.J., we`re getting a true insider view on the "Wall Street" sequel.
HAMMER: That`s right, Brooke. Right now, I`m getting the take on Wall Street from someone who`s actually once called "Wall Street`s tough cop." Eliot Spitzer`s new show, "PARKER SPITZER," debuts on CNN. That`s Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Eliot was also called "the sheriff of Wall Street." So why has the sequel to "Wall Street" struck such a chord?
Eliot Spitzer joining me in New York. First of all, welcome and congratulations on the new show.
ELIOT SPITZER, HOST, "PARKER SPITZER": Thank you. We`re looking forward to it.
HAMMER: We`re really looking forward to it as well. So you were there for the original.
SPITZER: Yes.
HAMMER: Why do you think, Eliot, that the sequel has struck such a chord? A lot of people are going to this thing saying, "Oh, yes. I kind of identify with what`s going on."
SPITZER: After what we`ve been through the last few years, so much money was lost on Wall Street. So many people saw their 401-Ks, as the cliche now, become 201-Ks. People - there`s a venom about what happened on Wall Street.
Our tax dollars have bailed out these banks. We want to see them vilified. We want to see a story about them. The first "Wall Street" came after the `87 crash. This one comes after the cataclysm of 2008.
It is a marvelous movie that brings back all the excitement of Wall Street - money, greed and a little bit of romance. It`s a great movie.
HAMMER: We`re going to have to have you do movie reviews, too. I`m not exactly sure. Of course, so much - unfortunately, what was true back then is true now.
And nobody can forget the iconic scene from the original "Wall Street" when Gordon Gekko made his infamous declaration about greed. Let`s relive that moment.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DOUGLAS (as Gordon Gekko): The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. When you were New York`s attorney general, Eliot -
SPITZER: Right.
HAMMER: You spent a lot of time looking into white collar crime and looking into, quite frankly, a lot of greed. Is greed ever good?
SPITZER: Well, making money as a motivator is what makes capitalism go around. And so the drive to succeed is what we want people to have. Now, there`s supposed to be limits, ethical limits, obligations.
I will sound like the wonky I can be, but fiduciary obligations to your clients and ethical constraints placed -
HAMMER: Hey, this is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT -
SPITZER: Yes, this is SHOWBIZ, you know. But you know, greed motivates people, but clearly, there`s excess and there is a rapacious desire to steal that drove Wall Street wild and that is what the problem is.
HAMMER: When I sat down with "Wall Street" director, Oliver Stone, I had to ask him what came to his mind now in 2010 when he hears the word "greed." Let`s listen to what he said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
OLIVER STONE, DIRECTOR, "WALL STREET": I think there`s a great quote from Josh Brolin in the movie when Shia asked him, "What`s your number?" Like, "What number would make you happy?"
And I think Josh just looks at him like he`s stupid or something and says, "More." I mean, I think that`s the problem. We`re living way beyond our ability to earn.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. Stone basically saying we are where we are because so many people are simply continuing to live beyond their means.
Now, when your new show - I almost renamed it for you - "PARKER SPITZER" debuts on CNN, Monday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern -
SPITZER: Right.
HAMMER: I know you`re going to be taking on hot button issues like that. What else can we expect from the show?
SPITZER: We`re going to talk about politics, economics, a little bit of culture. We`ll do some movie reviews, not to steal anything from your show. We`re going to do stuff that people will find interesting and exciting. Sparks will fly and it`s going to be fun.
HAMMER: Yes. We`re looking forward to a lot of heat on it. And I`m guessing you`re not going to be able to make it too far without discussing some of what we`ve talked about here.
SPITZER: Oh, absolutely.
HAMMER: You know, Lindsay Lohan will be getting out of rehab and so the point -
SPITZER: And a movie like "Wall Street" which brings together all the pieces of our society - money, greed, romance. All of it is there and it`s set in real life. I mean, that is why after 2008, these are the issues people want to hear about. And passions get very intense about it.
HAMMER: Well, thanks for being here.
SPITZER: Thank you.
HAMMER: And welcome to the family.
SPITZER: Thank you.
HAMMER: And make sure you check out Eliot and his co-host Kathleen Parker. The brand-new on CNN, "PARKER SPITZER" premieres Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
ANDERSON: OK. A big Kardashian marriage surprise today. One of the Kardashian sisters gets totally blindsided. Wait until you see what this Kardashian is revealing about her relationship today.
A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive - my amazing ride along with "Entourage`s" Adrian Grenier. Adrian and his newfound respect for the paparazzi and his remarkable Lindsay Lohan connection.

(voice-over): In this documentary, "Teenage Paparazzo," Adrian goes inside the mysterious world of the paparazzi, picking up the camera himself and staking out stars."

ANDERSON: And the Palin dancing factor. I thought it was great for Sarah Palin to show up on "Dancing with the Stars" to support her daughter, Bristol. Good for her, but was Sarah actually booed? What? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

ANDERSON: Big breaking news right now. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just learned that Lindsay Lohan checked into rehab late Monday. We haven`t confirmed any other details right now, like what rehab facility Lindsay checked into.
But I can tell you that Lindsay`s next court date is scheduled for October 22nd. So if I were her, I`d stay put in rehab at least until then.
HAMMER: All right. Brooke, we`ve got to get to a shocking star split today. So surprising, too, considering that the wife saved the husband`s life not too long ago. Oprah`s hearing the sound of music and a brand-new Kardashian surprise. All making big news in "The Buzz Today."
Khloe Kardashian`s surprise anniversary. Khloe and her husband, Lamar Odom, just celebrated their first year of marriage by renewing their wedding vows. Lamar surprised her with an intimate ceremony at the same spot where they were married last year. She gushed about the day-long celebration on her blog Monday sharing wedding pictures and showing off one of her gifts.
Khloe wrote, quote, "I have never been happier, never been so at peace, never been so in love."

Oprah Winfrey announced she`s reuniting the cast from the film classic, "The Sound of Music" for the first time in 45 years. Everyone from the movie, including stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, are expected to appear on the October 29 broadcast. And the original Von Trapp children are expected to perform.
George Lopez` shocking divorce. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has learned George and his wife, Ann, are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage. The news is particularly shocking considering Ann donated one of her kidneys to her husband in 2005.
The pair just revealed the decision to split was mutual and they`ll try to keep the divorce amicable for the sake of their daughter.
ANDERSON: And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
The Palin dancing factor. Sarah Palin on "Dancing with the Stars" to support Bristol. But was Sarah booed?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BURKE: I don`t know why.
GREY: Why is there booing? Why is there booing?
BURKE: All right, everybody. You know what to do. Support them right now with your vote.
BERGERON: All right. Thank you, Brooke. I`m here with guest ballroom commentator, Sarah Palin, who joins us from Alaska.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: And you`ve got to see this - possibly the biggest reality oops in history and it all happened live.
And caught on tape, absolutely frightening plane scares.

HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - the Palin dancing factor. Sarah Palin on "Dancing with the Stars" to support Bristol. But was Sarah booed? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask today, is Sarah influencing the votes?
Top model, uh-oh! It could be the biggest reality show oops in history. And it all went down on live TV.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my god. I don`t know what to say right now. I`m feeling a bit sick about this. No.

HAMMER: Plane scary. The most frightening moments on airplanes caught on tape.

(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - could Sarah Palin be influencing votes on "Dancing with the Stars"?
HAMMER: Maybe, Brooke. Let`s call it the Palin dancing factor. A big debate broke out today over whether or not Sarah Palin might be a huge factor in her daughter Bristol`s battle to win "Dancing with the Stars."
Sarah was in the "Dancing" audience to support Bristol. So could it be that her mere presence on the show actually impacts the vote? And in another Palin dancing twist today, was Sarah Palin actually booed when she was there on the show?
Right now, in New York, Rob Shuter. He is a columnist for AOL pop culture Web site, "PopEater.com." Right now, in Hollywood is Rachel Zalis who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."
There was a great debate today about whether or not Sarah Palin was booed on "Dancing with the Stars." Jennifer Grey and her partner had just finished dancing. They were praised by the judges. And then this happened. Let`s watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It was a lot of fun. Thank you.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: All right. Well, if you don`t want them to meet the same shock that ended David Hasselhoff`s ballroom dreams, then you need to support them right now. Call or text and log on to "ABC.com." There`s booing in the ballroom. We don`t know why.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Why is there booing? All right, everybody. You know what to do. Support them right now with your votes. Tom?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. Thank you, Brooke. I`m here with guest ballroom commentator, Sarah Palin.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right, a lot of booing and then they cut to Tom Bergeron with Sarah Palin. Rachel, to you first. I can see why people would actually think she was booed. But do you think she was?
ZALIS: You know, it was a very strategic cutaway. No, I don`t think she was booed. Clearly, the audience was booing the scores for Jennifer Grey. I mean, that girl practically shimmied the fringes off her dress.
And I think people take this competition very seriously, almost like Olympic ice skating. And they were very angry at the judges. I think it was pure coincidence that Sarah Palin was right up next.
HAMMER: Yes. That`s the other thing a lot of people are saying today. In fact, "Dancing with the Stars" host Tom Bergeron was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" right after "Dancing with the Stars." Here`s what Tom had to say about all that booing.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BERGERON: I`m here with guest ballroom commentator, Sarah Palin.
JIMMY KIMMEL, HOST, "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE": Now, is that why there was booing?
BERGERON: No, it wasn`t. It was because they felt that Jennifer got screwed, that she should have gotten nines. Because you know, they gushed about her and then they felt that they had under-scored -
KIMMEL: Eights are good scores. That was the top score.
BERGERON: I thought so, too, but they were booing - they were booing -
KIMMEL: Are you positive?
BERGERON: Mostly.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I mean, no one on the show is really going to admit that Sarah was booed, if she really was. I`ve got to say Tom`s story and what you were saying, Rachel, does make perfect sense to me.
And even if Tom is not 100 percent sure of exactly what happened, look, judges get booed all the time. Rob, what`s your take on this? Was this just a case of bad TV timing for Sarah Palin?
ROB SHUTER, COLUMNIST, "POPEATER.COM": Well, I think this was great TV timing for the show. We`re all talking about it. Nothing happens by chance.
I think they knew very, very well that if they cut to Sarah straight after these boos, people would be talking about it and we certainly are.
However, what you didn`t see is that while the cameras were backstage talking to the dancing couple, Tom was getting a seat next to Sarah on the dance floor. So everybody in the crowd did see that. So could have the boos gotten a little bigger? Maybe.
HAMMER: Yes. Well, no. And that`s exactly what I was wondering because, obviously, they were setting up that shot and you saw the dancers looking over in that direction. And despite the fact that Sarah`s daughter, Bristol, has done well on the show, I think the mere fact that people are debating whether or not the crowd was booing Sarah Palin certainly says something about the influence of Sarah Palin on "Dancing with the Stars."
I think she absolutely could tip the vote one way or another at least. Rachel, do you think Sarah Palin might influence the voting this season?
ZALIS: Absolutely. I mean, Bristol`s completely feeding off her mother`s fan base, which is enormous in this country. But what I love the most is Sarah got her political agenda clear on the show by calling her "Bristol the pistol," you know -
HAMMER: Yes.
ZALIS: Her whole pro-gun rally or whatever. But I just think she`s definitely going to get Bristol a lot of support.
HAMMER: Yes. We all remember Tina Fey`s famous spoof. Well, "Dancing with the Stars" ratings are through the roof this season. But could you ever imagine if that show accidentally announced the wrong winner during the finale?
Well, that`s exactly what happened on Australia`s next top model when the host named the wrong winner. You`ve got to check this out. It`s unbelievable. On the live finale of the show, the host reveals the winner and then someone tells her she said the wrong name. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s you, Kelsey(ph).
(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)
I`m sorry. Oh, my god. I don`t know what to say. This is not - this is a complete accident. I`m so sorry. It`s Amanda. I`m so sorry. It was said to me wrong.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my god. This is what happens when you have live TV, folks. I`m so sorry.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s OK.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is insane.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Oh, my god. I feel so badly for that woman, and what an awkward situation to be in. Now, the woman who was initially named the winner - she graciously relinquished the title she was given just moments before by accident.
Rob, we saw it in her face but, look, I can`t even imagine how mortified the host of that show must have been.
SHUTER: I can`t imagine. This is terrifying for this to happen on live TV. I think it`s every host`s worst nightmare and it certainly came true.
However, the girl that now is the runner up, the girl announced by accident, people are already saying this is going to help her. She was so gracious about it that she will do very, very well, I think, after this.
HAMMER: Yes. It certainly made her buzz-worthy. Brooke Anderson, can you imagine if something like this - this was in Australia. But can you imagine if something like this happened on "American Idol"?
ANDERSON: Oh, no. That would be wild, wouldn`t it? I think J-Lo might even throw a stiletto on stage or something, A.J. But Ryan Seacrest, consummate professional. I doubt we`re going to see that happen on "American Idol."
HAMMER: Yes.
ANDERSON: All right. I`ve got to move now to another big controversial TV moment - "Sesame Street" busted. All right. We all know they banned Katy Perry`s music video with Elmo on "Sesame Street" because she was showing too much cleavage.
Well, today, "Sesame Street" was busted for contradicting itself. As it turns out, "Sesame Street" actually created a busty character called Polly Darton inspired by Dolly Parton in more ways than one.
Take a look now at this side-by-side of Polly and Katy Perry. Now, Polly`s got the blond hair, the country outfit and two of Dolly`s most famous assets, right? She was billed as the sweetest little package in down home country goodness.
I personally love Polly Darton (sic), love Dolly Parton. I really don`t think you can compare a Muppet to a real person. But Rachel, some are saying this just takes the wind out of "Sesame Street`s" argument for pulling Katy Perry`s music video. What do you think?
ZALIS: The whole thing is ridiculous. "Sesame Street" knew who they were booking when they had Katy Perry. This girl wears cupcake bustiers and sings about kissing girls.
And frankly, I thought her outfit that she wore on the show was pretty tame. I think they really they gave in to pressure from moms who were worried about their kids watching or probably their husbands watching with their kids. So I think it`s a little hypocritical.
ANDERSON: All right. It was pretty tame until Katy Perry started running down that street with Elmo. And then, there was a whole lot going on in the chest area.
ZALIS: "Baywatch" running, right?
ANDERSON: You get what I`m talking about. Rob Shuter, Rachel Zalis, thanks, guys.
HAMMER: Got to move on right now to some incredible new video today that was just plane scary. Get it? Panicked passengers prepare for the worst and they whip out their cameras to capture it all. It`s SHOWBIZ caught on tape.

BRAD WOMACK, REALITY TV STAR, "THE BACHELOR": Absolutely. I had - OK. Let`s say as adamantly as I defended myself, it`s really tough to have 13, 14 million Americans call you a jerk.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Jenny McCarthy breaks her silence today about the real reason why her five-year relationship with Jim Carey ended. Jenny came to Oprah to drop this bombshell. So many people could not believe it when Jim tweeted he was through with Jenny.
I thought they were going to make it. I really did. They seemed like a great match. But Jenny says the relationship stopped being fun and that`s when she realized it was over. So would Jenny ever consider getting back with Jim?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JENNY MCCARTHY, ACTRESS: No. I definitely feel like and I have that image of the sand in the hour glass, the lessons were learned.
OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": This is done. This is done.
MCCARTHY: And I thank you.
WINFREY: OK. You said that three times. What were the lessons?
MCCARTHY: Well, the one was a belief system that I don`t need a lover to have a love in my life.
WINFREY: That`s very good.
MCCARTHY: It was. That was the big Oprah light-bulb moment.
WINFREY: That takes - it takes some time getting that one.
MCCARTHY: Now, everybody that comes into my life - this is whipped cream.
WINFREY: Yes.
MCCARTHY: But I come in as a full sundae.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, Jenny told Oprah that before Jim`s breakup tweet, they actually had been separated for weeks.
ANDERSON: Right now, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is the only entertainment news show with total unfiltered access to Adrian Grenier. I was right there with Adrian in his limo as we rode in style to the premiere of his amazing documentary, "Teenage Paparazzo."
In those 45 minutes in that ride, I learned so much like Adrian`s secrets and surviving the red carpet. I learned about his connection to Lindsay Lohan and even how Adrian made peace with the paparazzi. Yes.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON (on camera): Ready?
ADRIAN GRENIER, ACTOR: I`m ready. I got all my tools for a premiere.
ANDERSON: Tools - banana?
GRENIER: Banana, a little nourishment -
ANDERSON: A little bit of water?
GRENIER: Some water, talking a lot. And this is for the after party?
ANDERSON (voice-over): Dressed to impress in a new suit to premiere his fascinating new documentary, "Teenage Paparazzo," Adrian Grenier was ready to roll, but realized he forgot one small detail - removing the tag.
GRENIER: Oh, wait. Am I supposed to take that off?
ANDERSON (on camera): Is it your suit?
GRENIER: This was a suit that was loaned to me by Boss on a permanent basis.
ANDERSON: Hugo Boss doesn`t do anything halfway.
GRENIER: Oh, brother! Perfection.
ANDERSON (voice-over): Now that Adrian was red-carpet ready, I was ready for a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive during our revealing 45-minute limo ride to the premiere of "Teenage Paparazzo."
ANDERSON (on camera): Tonight is the night for the big event.
GRENIER: I`ve got my bathing suit. I`ve got my banana. What else do you need?
ANDERSON: You`re all set. You`re all set.
GRENIER: Want a bite? Red carpet walks can be brutal. I mean, an hour of just talking about yourself?
ANDERSON (voice-over): In his documentary, "Teenage Paparazzo," Adrian goes inside the mysterious world of the paparazzi, picking up the camera himself and staking out stars.
(on camera): You wanted to see what it was like behind the paparazzi`s camera?
GRENIER: The most important thing to me was to get to know them as human beings and to discover the humanity behind these lurking, faceless monsters that were always hiding in the bushes and looking to capture, steal a piece of my soul. And I knew that that couldn`t be true.
ANDERSON: A lot of people see you as a film star, a TV star from "entourage." But is this where your passion lies?
GRENIER: I try to bring passion into everything I do. I`m a communicator. You know, to me it`s just different ways to tell stories and communicate ideas, you know, whether it be producing or directing or acting.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is all about a bag of coke?
ANDERSON (voice-over): In HBO`s "Entourage," Adrian`s character, Vinnie(ph) Chase, is now struggling with drugs. He spirals out of control and he could potentially head to jail. Sound familiar? Lindsay? Paris?
ANDERSON (on camera): This season really seemed ripped from the headlines.
GRENIER: It`s actually surprising how accurate the show is. A lot of things that happen in real life we can`t put in the show because it just wouldn`t be believable.
ANDERSON: Speaking of Vincent Chase it and "Entourage," is the next season really the last season?
GRENIER: The word on the street is that season eight will be the last, so I`ve heard. However, the word on the street is also that there`s going to be a movie.
ANDERSON: How do you keep yourself out of the negative headlines?
GRENIER: I was lucky to have come into this experience later in life and I`d already done my rebellious indulging.
ANDERSON (voice-over): As I rode with Adrian in the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, I had to wonder how he dealt with answering all of those questions he gets from reporters on the red carpet.
GRENIER: There becomes a psychic split at some point, somewhere in the middle after you`ve already answered the same questions about 14 times, where suddenly you literally leave your body. You depart and suddenly you`re looking at yourself talking, you know, who do you think you are and why does anybody care about you? What? Weird.
ANDERSON: Weird. Maybe, but as Adrian knows, it`s all part of the job of being a star and facing the paparazzi.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: "Teenage Paparazzo," which took Adrian three years to make, A.J., just premiered on HBO. It is really good. So be sure to check it out. And it`s even on HBO on demand through next month.
HAMMER: Now, Brooke, I was fascinated watching your little ride along. You`re in this limo with him for 45 minutes, literally helping him get ready for his big premiere by removing the tag from his suit.
ANDERSON: Yes. I do have to say though, A.J., he asked me do that. I did not volunteer.
HAMMER: OK.
ANDERSON: I did not insist.
HAMMER: Because that would have been creepy.
ANDERSON: Yes. Though I would have, I think. I would have, creepy or not. But yes, he asked me do that. And I`ve got to admit something right now. My producer, Megan, and I saved that Hugo Boss tag.
HAMMER: Oh, look at that!
ANDERSON: We`re not stalkers like the paparazzi, I promise. But we are big fans and we thought it would be a nice keepsake to remind us of our limo ride with the actor Adrian Grenier.
So, anyway, he was a really chill guy, really nice and the documentary is fabulous. I highly recommend it. Also, A.J., I want to tell you right before we had our interview, we asked our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fans what they would want to ask Adrian Grenier. So you can check out his answers at "Facebook.com/ShowbizTonightHLN." Very cool.
HAMMER: Very cool.
ANDERSON: All right. I`ve got to move now to some frightening moments, A.J., onboard airplanes. They`re just so plain scary.

HAMMER: Caught-on-tape today - just plane scary. Absolutely frightening plane scares, Brooke.
ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. There`s dramatic new video out today taken inside an airplane as it makes a dangerous descent. What I want to know is this - why did some panicked passengers grab their cameras to record all frightening moments just seconds away from emergency landing? Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the scariest plane moments ever.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
MOOS (voice-over): Ever wonder what an emergency landing is like?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Stay down! Head down!
MOOS: You don`t have to wonder anymore. These two passengers shot one on their iPhone.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Head down! Stay down! Head down! Stay down!
MOOS: The sparks are from the wing scraping the runway as the landing gear didn`t properly deploy.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He kind of looked at me like I was crazy. I was like "Will you record?"
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: As she`s yelling "Brace," I`m kind of holding the camera like that.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And so the flight attendant is yelling "Head down! Head down! Head down!"
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Head down! Stay down! Head down! Stay down!
MOOS: This isn`t the first emergency landing caught on tape by passengers.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Brace. Brace. Head down. Grab your ankle.
MOOS: Flight attendants chants -
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Brace. Brace. Head down. Grab your ankle.
MOOS: Are almost identical from airline to airline. This plane landed in Washington after its front tire blew. Passengers have recorded oxygen masks deployed and even plane evacuation.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Leave the aircraft! Leave the aircraft!
MOOS: All the way down the emergency slide. The most recent video of the Delta emergency landing included the incredibly calm warning from the pilot.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Brace for impact.
MOOS: Alessandro Albero and Chase Benzenberg -
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I didn`t think we were going to die or anything.
MOOS: Also captured the applause when they didn`t die and passengers thanking and hugging the pilot afterwards. As the video flew around the Web, it sparked a minor debate.
(on camera): Just for doing your job -
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Head down! Stay down!
MOOS: Yelling "Head down. Stay down -"
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Head down! Stay down!
MOOS: A flight attendant got her head handed to her by critics.
(voice-over): Her instructions were described as nerve racking. "If the last voice I heard on earth was that one, I`d be one very annoyed dead guy." But others responded, "Give that lady a raise" and "That nameless voice is my hero." Someone suggested the airlines adopt something more calming like the chill-out mantra -
