BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Michael miffed.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke, let me tell you, Michael Bolton`s war of words over getting kicked off "Dancing with the Stars" absolutely blew up today. Bolton, of course, got the boot because he did anything but fancy dancing.
And it was not a polite "see you later" with judge Bruno Tonioli going all Simon Cowell on Bolton. Bolton demanded an apology. But we learned that Bolton should not hold his breath waiting for one. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the late-breaking developments in the Bolton versus Bruno brouhaha.

HAMMER: Michael Bolton may not be breaking down, but today, he`s smacking down "Dancing with the Stars."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Michael and Chelsea.
HAMMER: Bolton got booted from "Dancing with the Stars" this week and is now in a public war of words with the show. He`s demanding an apology today from "Dancing with the Stars" judge, Bruno Tonioli, for dissing Bolton`s dancing.
TONIOLI: You did you it all very, very, very badly.
MICHAEL BOLTON, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: I think he should apologize publicly and he should be reprimanded for it.
HAMMER: But "Dancing with the Stars" sent its own message to Bolton.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Telling him he`s going to have to live without an apology. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you this Bolton versus Bruno fight is now a ballroom brawl.
ANNIE BARRETT, "ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY": It`s kind of a spectacle.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: The drama happened Monday after Michael Bolton and his dance partner Chelsea Hightower`s performance. Afterwards, all the judges panned Bolton but Bruno was particularly mean.
TONIOLI: I think this is probably the worst jive in 11 seasons.
BOLTON: Oh, that`s not true.
HAMMER: And our own unofficial SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s judges panel agrees.
BARRETT: That`s terrible. I mean, that`s just a terrible thing to see on TV in general.
MAGGIE FURLONG, HOST, AOL TV: For Bruno to say that that was the worst jive he`s seen in 11 seasons, he`s actually being nice.
HAMMER: America apparently agreed with Bruno. Bolton was voted off the show the next night, but he did not go away quietly.
BOLTON: I think Bruno was, you know, inappropriate and disrespectful.
HAMMER: And the next morning on "Good Morning America," Bolton went after Bruno again.
BOLTON: Of course, I was disappointed with Bruno. He just, to me, let everybody down.
HAMMER: One would think Michael Bolton would have a thicker skin by now.
FURLONG: Let`s be real here. The man is known for having long, flowing hair and a musical catalogue for, like, sappy, romantic ballads. This is not the worst anyone`s ever said about him.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I love his music. I`m a Michael Bolton fan.
HAMMER: Bolton and his music career were savagely mocked in the cult classic, "Office Space," mostly by a character who was also named Michael Bolton.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Why didn`t you just go by Mike instead of Michael?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No way. Why should I choose? He`s the one who sucks.
HAMMER: But the real Bolton tells "Good Morning America" Bruno`s words were particularly hurtful because Bolton`s mom was in the audience to hear them.
BOLTON: My mom was there. She flew in. She`s 90. And she came to see the show. And I thought she was going to really enjoy it. And I just didn`t expect that level of disrespect from him.
HAMMER: But "Dancing with the Stars" producers are backing Bruno. Here`s what the show`s producers told us today. In a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, they said, "While we respect the feelings of our celebrities and dancers, we don`t feel Bruno should be expected to apologize for doing his job.
BARRETT: Bruno is a judge and he was just stating his opinion. I don`t think his comment was mean-spirited.
HAMMER: "Entertainment Weekly`s" Annie Barrett tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT harsh comments from judges are part of the reality show game.
BARRETT: Other reality shows like "American Idol," for example - Simon Cowell has been notoriously harsh with kids.
HAMMER: And AOL host, Maggie Furlong, has a blunt critique of Michael Bolton`s reaction to his "Dancing with the Stars" moment.
FURLONG: He`s being kind of a cry baby.
TONIOLI: You should have taken the bone and gone back into the dog house.
HAMMER: So it looks like Bruno will dance away from his Bolton battle unscathed. And Michael Bolton`s dream of an apology from "Dancing with the Stars" -

He`d had better luck getting an apology from "Office Space."

HAMMER: I do think Bruno was totally harsh on Michael Bolton, but does Michael Bolton really deserve an apology? That brings us to our "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint," should Michael Bolton quit his whining already?
Joining me from Hollywood, Ken Baker, who is "E`s" chief news correspondent. And right now, in Hollywood, Tanika Ray, who is an entertainment journalist.
Yes. I mean, I think Bruno was pretty brutal on Michael Bolton. That was obvious. I know it`s his job. But quite frankly, if Michael Bolton wants an apology, he has every right to ask for it.
But Ken, let me go to you for our "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint" - should Michael Bolton quit his whining already in your mind?
KEN BAKER, CHIEF NEWS CORRESPONDENT, "E!": I think that`s a rhetorical question. I think we know the answer to that. I think that the last time I checked the First Amendment - I`m not a Constitutional expert here.
But I think that the right of a judge on "Dancing with the Stars" to express his opinion is protected speech under the First Amendment. He has the right to do that.
And, by the way, the reason why you`re not ever going to find someone like me on "Dancing with the Stars" or anyone dance competition is because I can`t dance. I`m horrible. I suck. And if I did go on, I would expect Bruno to tell me that I sucked.
And that`s exactly what happened. He needs to deal with it. If he`s not taking himself - if he`s taking himself that seriously, that he wants an apology, he should never have gone on the show in the first place.
HAMMER: That`s fair enough. And thank you for the constitutional lesson there, Ken Baker. Now, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines were ringing nonstop about this today. On both sides, we have very passionate, dramatic calls, mixed opinions coming in. Lisa from New Jersey says, "Boo, Bruno." Let`s listen.

LISA, CALLER FROM NEW JERSEY: Michael Bolton needs to get an apology from Bruno. He was rude. He ripped him apart and it wasn`t nice. I mean, that was just completely, completely disgusting and I felt very bad.

COLLEEN, CALLER FROM FLORIDA: He needs to get over it. It`s like a contest. He`s a terrible dancer. He tried, but they`re judges. That`s what they`re supposed to do. Would you want them to lie and say, "You`re a great dancer," when he was horrible?

HAMMER: All right. They`re judges. He`s a celebrity, like him or not. Tanika, to our "SHOWBIZ Flashpoint," are you with Colleen from Florida that Michael needs to quit his whining?
TANIKA RAY, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Quit your whining, Bolton down that trap. Look, we`ve all known that he was a sensitive singer. But now, we know he`s sensitive and a little bit fragile, too.
Michael, have you never seen the show before? That`s what it`s all about. They take celebrities that are not in the prime of their lives. And they have to pay for a new shine by being humble and being somewhat humiliated on national television.
HAMMER: Yes.
RAY: That`s how the show works. And as far as his mom is concerned, she`s known him his whole life so she`s known he`s a very, very bad dancer forever. Nothing new.
HAMMER: Well, maybe he wasn`t a good fit. Late today SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did catch up with Brooke Burke. Brooke, of course, is the co-host of "Dancing with the Stars." And she weighed in on the whole Michael Bolton controversy. Listen to Brooke.

BROOKE BURKE, CO-HOST, "DANCING WITH THE STARS": You know, it`s a tough question. I love the honesty of the judges. I`m so proud of Michael Bolton for speaking his mind and standing up for himself. I think it was harsh. I think it was unfortunate.
I think it probably was not a great experience for Michael. I glad that he spoke his mind and he was able to take a stand. And I hope that he left the show with some positive things to take away and with some closure because he had that moment. And I was so glad to give him those 20 seconds to speak directly to Bruno.

HAMMER: All right. I don`t know if he`s walking away with any warm, fuzzy feelings. But at least - at least I think he did have some positive experiences working with the people he was working with.
And Brooke Anderson, it`s not just Michael Bolton locked in some big time drama today. Another Michael - our friend Michael Lohan - he is livid and he`s also speaking out.
ANDERSON: Yes. He is, A.J. Michael Lohan is screaming from the rooftops. He claims that he`s going to block plans by his ex-wife, Dina Lohan - plans that she has, according to him, to file for a conservatorship of Lindsay`s estate.
Now, you all may remember, a few years ago, Britney Spears` dad arranged a conservatorship when she was smack in the middle of her crisis, and it really helped her. But Michael Lohan does not think Dina is the right person to be at the helm of Lindsay`s life.
Tanika - yes. I mean, it seems kind of like another disaster waiting to happen for me. It did work for Britney Spears when her father took over, but you don`t think Dina is the right one. I mean, a lot of people blame her for all of Lindsay`s troubles.
RAY: You never saw Britney`s dad out there in the paparazzi, on the red carpet trying to claim some of the light that his daughter had. We`ve seen Dina do that time and time again. She`s been an enabler for her 100 percent.
She`s the absolute worst person in a world and a jury filled with children can figure that out. Whether or not her dad is better than her mom, in this case, it the catch 22. I really don`t think the he is much better. We`ve seen what he does.
ANDERSON: He says he doesn`t necessarily want be the conservator, but he wants to find two responsible people who have nothing to do with them.
RAY: I say we elect Britney`s father.

HAMMER: The Billy Wilder classic, "Some Like It Hot," and of course, its legendary stars, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. Sadly, we learned today that Tony Curtis has died at the age of 85 after suffering a cardiac arrest in his home in Las Vegas.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And Brooke, this is just such a huge loss for Hollywood.
ANDERSON: It is, A.J. Tony Curtis was truly legendary. He starred in classic movies like "Some Like It Hot" and "Spartacus." And in the 1950s and `60s, he really was the Brad Pitt or George Clooney of his time.
His daughter Jamie Lee Curtis later became a star in her own right. And today, she said her father would be remembered as both a screen legend and a family man. Here`s "CNN NEWSROOM`s" Kyra Phillips for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with a look at the life of Tony Curtis.

CURTIS: My father taught it to me.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I was wrong about you, poet. You won`t learn to kill. You`ll teach us songs.
CURTIS: I came here to fight.
KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR (voice-over): Tony Curtis was one of Hollywood`s top box office idols in the `50s and `60s starring in dozens of diverse films from "Spartacus" to the "Boston Strangler."

PHILLIPS: Curtis showed his comedic ability with a gender-bending role. Other well-known Curtis` films include "Sweet Smell of Success" and "The Defiant Ones." But although Tony Curtis was one of the last of the big- time movie matinee idols, he was more than just an actor. He was a prolific artist.
CURTIS: All my life, I`ve always taken to a pen or pencil. I`ve done drawing. I make collages and (UNINTELLIGIBLE) ever since I`ve been a kid.
PHILLIPS: Curtis said he painted nearly every day. He also wrote, publishing novels and his autobiography in 1993, in which he told about the darker and lighter sides of his life.
CURTIS: I`m having a wonderful time in my life. I`m 68 and a half, a recovering alcoholic and drug person. I`m nine and a half years of my recovery. And I feel like Ebenezer Scrooge in "Christmas Carol." You know, after those three nightmares, I`m so happy to be alive.
PHILLIPS: Married six times, Curtis was the father of six children, including actress Jamie Lee Curtis. When Tony Curtis was born in New York City in 1925, he was originally named Bernard Schwartz. A name Hollywood was destined to change. A man, destined for a life of fame.

HAMMER: Wow, what a life. That was CNN`s Kyra Phillips for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Brooke, you recently spoke to the great late Tony Curtis. Now, what struck you the most about him when you spoke with him?
ANDERSON: Oh, he is hilarious. I called Tony Curtis to do an interview with him about a story I was doing about an auction of Marilyn Monroe items. He, of course, worked with her on "Some Like It Hot." And he was so funny. He was a hoot, salty even, and very flirtatious.
A.J., I initially addressed him as Mr. Curtis out of respect and he said, "Oh, call me Tony." You know, in the piece, Kyra said that he had six wives. Of course, he was a big charmer. He talked about love affairs, a fling with Marilyn Monroe.
He was in a really good place in his life. He said he felt great, that he was in good health. And, you know, he was loving life. He was just a warm guy and he will not be forgotten - a long, successful career.
HAMMER: And of course, it`s nice to hear he was so casual with you. All right. Well, I can tell you as we move on today that Snooki is writing a book. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) it is for real. The "Jersey Shore" star is working on a novel. What could she possibly write about, how to put your hair in a pouf?
Sounds like there might be some hair pulling going on at "American Idol" right now. Brand-new reports that J-Lo and Ryan Seacrest are going at it. And remember that guy that got in a huge fight with an elderly man and his daughter at the U.S. Open?

ANDERSON: All right. Is there already big time drama for the new judges of "American Idol"? There are rampant reports today that there is already major tension between Ryan Seacrest and new "Idol" judge, Jennifer Lopez. So what`s the deal?
Now, in Atlanta, Bert Weiss, who is the host of Q100 radio`s "The Bert Show." Hey, Bert, check out these brand-new photos of J-Lo, Steven Tyler, the whole crew going out for "American Idol." But is there already tension brewing?
"In Touch Weekly" reported that J-Lo and Ryan are already bickering over everything, from dressing rooms to top billing. I can`t imagine Ryan Seacrest acting like that. Now, Bert, could this possibly be an even more contentious season than when Simon was still on board?
BERT WEISS, HOST, "THE BERT SHOW": I`ve got to tell you, Brooke, I`m not buying it at all. One thing that "American Idol" and Fox is great at is generating publicity for themselves. And what better way to say that two people on the staff aren`t getting along. This is perfect for them.
They`re fine. They love each other. And like you said, Ryan is about the nicest guy you`d ever meet.
ANDERSON: Yes. So professional. And I can`t imagine that J-Lo would want to kick things off in a contentious way. But Bert, I do want you now to put on your genie cap, make a prediction for us. By the end of the season of "American Idol," will the judges be all buddy-buddy or, I don`t know, punchy-punchy?
WEISS: You know what I think is going to happen? Here`s my prediction. I don`t think it`s going to be a Ryan-J-Lo thing. I think that if there`s going to be diva action going on and some kind of fighting going on, I think it`s going to be Steven Tyler and J-Lo.
They both have that rock and roll background. They`re kind of like pampered. So I think if there`s going to be any tension on the set, I bet it`s those two.
ANDERSON: Where does my dog, Randy, fall into this scenario? No ego for him, right? He better not going all diva on us.
WEISS: No, this is standard for Randy. You know, where he stands. This is just a new cast. He`s getting paid. He`s still laid back. He`s loving all this, right?
ANDERSON: He`s chilled, that`s right. All right. Bert Weiss, good to see you. Thanks.

ANDERSON: Could this possible hit and run man more trouble for Paris? And could it be true that despite all her legal drama, Paris might actually be getting a new reality show deal today?

Bert, Tanika, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained that dramatic new video from "Hollywood.tv" today. Paris` boyfriend, Cy Waits, was reportedly cited and released for a hit and run. Authorities are investigating what happened.
Now, this is the same guy who was arrested with Paris the night that she got nailed for cocaine possession. It`s only been 10 days since Paris pleaded guilty to cocaine possession. Then, subsequently she got kicked out of Japan. She`s not doing so hot these days, is she?
RAY: Yes. Not a good light shining on this relationship so far. I guess he was cute. He`s kind of cute. You know Paris. She`s going to go through everybody who lives in the Los Angeles area before she finds the right guy. Got to kiss a lot of frogs.
ANDERSON: Obviously, there`s something going on bad here. And we don`t know if the injured paparazzo will be pressing charges. I`m guessing that could happen, maybe a lawsuit. I`m just saying.
RAY: Probably.
ANDERSON: But Paris is not blaming her boyfriend. She tweeted shortly after the incident saying this, "Lovely evening with friends and family ruined by aggressive paparazzi. They are literally insane!"
So she`s blaming the paparazzi, which I could understand somewhat because they are aggressive.
RAY: Yes.
ANDERSON: But her boyfriend, Cy Waits, is the same guy Paris was with, I repeat, during the cocaine - during that cocaine bust. So Bert, this guy is kind of like a bad luck charm. Should she just drop him? She`s kind of bad luck, too.
WEISS: I think that`s really funny. I was going to say the same thing, that she was getting into trouble way before this guy came along. So maybe the question is she his bad luck charm?
ANDERSON: Yes. They`re both just toxic for each other, it seems. And despite the fact that Paris has been getting herself into all kinds of trouble lately, listen to this. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned today that she might actually be getting a new reality show.
RAY: Awesome.
ANDERSON: Yes, Awesome, right?
WEISS: Hilarious.
RAY: Hollywood!
ANDERSON: There are reports that the show will try to prove this she`s not a blond ditz. It will follow her as she fulfills part of her court-ordered community service. Tanika, this seems to me as yet another case of rewarding bad behavior.
RAY: Well, that seems to be a prerequisite these days. In order to get a television show you`ve got to be naughty, naughty, naughty. And I`m sure Snooki will get a full-fledge Oprah-size career out of the "Jersey Shore."
That`s just the way it works these days, Brooke. I wish the pendulum would swing back already and we could get back to wholesome, really good entertaining television.
ANDERSON: It will probably be wholesome, maybe a little, eventually. All right. Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to the Oxygen Network today but they wouldn`t comment on whether or not Paris has been offered a deal.
I want to move now to more big news breaking today. A judge makes a ruling in the Anna Nicole drug case involving her ex-boyfriend and her doctors. Katy Perry`s got a new puppet production after Elmo-gate. And Tanika, speaking of Snooki - Snooki plans to pen a new book just after she read her first book. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz" today.

(voice-over): Anna Nicole shocker. Her ex-boyfriend Howard K. Stern was just acquitted on two charges of obtaining drugs for the late star. A California judge ruled there was insufficient evidence Stern obtained drugs for Smith through fraud and deceit.
However, Stern and two of Anna Nicole`s doctors will still face a jury on conspiracy charges. Closing arguments are expected to begin Monday.
Katy Perry bounces back from Elmo-gate.
KATY PERRY, SINGER: Come on, don`t you want to play?
ANDERSON: Katy just confirmed she`s making a surprise appearance on a special holiday all-puppet version of "The Simpsons."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And how much bad do you think you look.
ANDERSON: She`ll play bartender Mo`s girl friend. The news comes on the heels of her censored "Sesame Street" music video with Elmo. At least, on "The Simpsons," Katy doesn`t have to worry about being too racy.
The Snooki book club? The "Jersey Shore" star just announced she`s writing her very first book titled "A Sure Thing for Now." Publisher Simon and Schuster says, "The book will revolve around a girl looking for love on the board walk, one full of big hair, dark tans and fights galore."
Snooki broke big literature news back in February when she was tweeted she was officially reading her first book ever.

HAMMER: OK. So let me get this straight. Snooki never read a book before February and now she`s writing a book? I get that Snooki is striking while the flat iron is hot. She should absolutely do that.
RAY: Yes.
HAMMER: But couldn`t she - I don`t know - do an infomercial for something like the bump it hair poufer or something that certainly makes sense? Bert, would you pick up and read Snooki`s book? Please be honest.
WEISS: You`re insulting me. Come on. Even if I had a friend that was reading Snooki`s book, I`d really have to reassess who my friends are. This thing is going to cost $44 and she`s only one read book in her entire life. This is not going to make Oprah`s Book Club, I promise you that.
HAMMER: I`m actually starting to think that maybe perhaps she won`t actually be the one doing all the writing, if you know what I`m saying.
WEISS: Right.
HAMMER: I`m not exactly sure about. Now, of course the ladies on "The View" had to have at this, the new Snooki book idea, this morning. But they, you know, of course, were just as baffled as we all are as to what Snooki could possibly write about. Let`s watch.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s move on. Katy Perry is next. Katy Perry is coming to "The Simpsons." I love this idea. She`s going to be appearing in a special live action puppet production of "The Simpsons," one of my favorite shows. It`s already been taped.
But Bert, you know, after that whole "Sesame Street" Elmo-gate scandal where Katy wasn`t allowed to appear on the show that she had taped because of being scantily clad, this really is perfect payback for Katy, isn`t it?
WEISS: Yes. I think it`s funny that we even use the words "revenge" and "payback" when it comes to "Sesame Street," right?
RAY: Yes.
WEISS: This was recorded before that whole thing happened with "Sesame Street." So I don`t know if you can call it calculated revenge, but it will be sweet for her, I think.
HAMMER: Yes. It`s good timing. And Tanika, quickly. I mean, I actually think this is a much better venue, a good place for her to appear than perhaps "Sesame Street."
RAY: Yes. It`s much more appropriate. But here`s the thing. Nobody`s really talking about it anymore. She got people back with the "Saturday Night Live" skit. That was genius. This is just going to be a little bit of an overkill.
HAMMER: All right.

All right. Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. A.J. Hammer is there in New York.
HAMMER: All right. Brooke, we have brand-new revelations by Michael J. Fox today about his battle with Parkinson`s disease. In an exclusive interview with CNN`s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Michael candidly opens up about his struggles with a special that premiered tonight on CNN called "A Conversation with Michael J. Fox." It is terrific - very eye-opening.
Sanjay joining me in New York. Always good to see you, my friend,
I spent a little time with Michael a couple of weeks ago. He was at the season premiere of "The View." I was talking to him in the greenroom for just a short while. And he seemed like he was doing really well.
You know, I`ve seen him over the years. He seemed like he was doing terrifically. You spent a great deal of time with him just yesterday. How is he doing?
DR. SANJAY GUPTA, CNN CHIEF MEDICAL CORRESPONDENT: Yes, this is one of his longest interviews in part because he gets tired and can`t do long interviews. He`s doing very well.
The thing about him is he has good days and bad days. And when you see the sort of characteristic Michael J. Fox now who seems - like he`s moving around a lot, they call that "dyskinesia."
HAMMER: Right.
GUPTA: A lot of that is because of the medicines and the way that medicine is affecting his body. If the medicine wasn`t working, he`d be almost the exact opposite, unable to move, no expression on his face. So you know, not bad.
HAMMER: I know for anybody who is suffering from any kind of disease, acceptance is a big part of coping with it. Michael took a while before he went public - several years before he went public with it.
But I was really fascinated that Michael revealed to you how he finally accepted the fact that he did have Parkinson`s disease. Let`s watch what he told you.

FOX: There`s a clear period around 1993, `94, two years after diagnosis where I just got it. I just accepted it, and I realized that, you know, that there`s a old saying that my happiness grows in direct proportion to my acceptance and inversely proportional to my expectation. You know, it is about - this is what it is. And so now what?
GUPTA (on camera): Once you were not in denial, you think you were happier?
FOX: Yes, absolutely. Because when you can look at the truth of something, then I mean, that`s what it is. It is what it is. Now you have options. The only thing I don`t have a choice about is whether I have Parkinson`s. Everything else is my choice. That`s incredibly liberating, much more liberating than the physical constraints that the disease are.

HAMMER: Now, Sanjay, so many people are in the same situation as Michael. What did you learn from him about how he copes with Parkinson`s on a daily basis?
GUPTA: Well, there`s no question he`s become very optimistic. I get the sense that there were some dark days for him in between. But you know, as he got out of the denial and became happier, he became a much more active participant in taking care of himself.
And now he`s got this mission, A.J., which the foundation - they`ve raised $200 million. It`s given him some sense of meaning in his life and I think that that`s a message for everybody. Be in active control.
HAMMER: I was really particularly struck by his explanation of what his life is like living with Parkinson`s. Let take a look at that.

FOX: It`s like you`re crossing the road and you get stuck in the middle, and you know the bus is coming and you can`t get out of the way. So you kind of freak out and you go, "That bus is going to hit me at some point." And even though you don`t know how fast or how big or - but you can be stuck in that result, this bus is going to hit you.

HAMMER: Wow. He`s worked so hard trying to find a cure. Are we closer?
SANJAY: I think so and in large part because of his efforts. You know, this is still considered an orphan disease so there`s not a lot of funding at the national level or even the state level. This guy, because he`s become the face, who raises the money, has a plan. And I think we`re closer to getting there.
HAMMER: And it`s just amazing whenever I see him out there working for this.
GUPTA: He does so much good work.
HAMMER: Yes. Sanjay always good to see you.
ANDERSON: OK. Just in today, Bill and Giuliana Rancic`s emotional baby confession. For the first time, Bill, who won the first season of "The Apprentice," and his wife, Giuliana, host of "E! News," share a stunning secret on ABC`s "The View."

And now, a lot of people are saying this tennis hothead is the most hated man in America. You won`t believe what he allegedly did now that got him thrown in the slammer.

MOOS: The fight started after a woman and her 75-year-old dad got mad at New Yorker, Joey Pedevill, for apparently cursing and talking loudly during the match. They argued. She slapped him. Joey managed to restrain himself physically, but not verbally.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Shut up.
JOEY PEDEVILL, SPECTATOR: I don`t give a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) what anyone wants! I got a lot of money on the game. I`m going to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) pay my ticket.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Then go watch in a bar.
MOOS (on camera): This at a sporting event where the most commonly-heard "F" word is usually "fault."
(voice-over) The argument escalated. Then the dad went after Joey.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, security!
MOOS: The fight ended when security finally arrived. Joey was escorted out. The crowd cheered. Joey returned the favor with his fingers. The cell phone videos became YouTube hits.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s great. You`ve got to see this video.
MOOS: End of story? Not quite.
(on camera) Well, now Joey Pedevill has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a neighbor who called him a nut.
(voice-over) To be more exact, "This guy`s an insane nut" was the quote the neighbor gave to "The New York Post" after the tennis brawl. We tried to talk to Joey but couldn`t find him.
(on camera) The neighbor already had a restraining order out against Joey. The two had been feuding for months.
(voice-over) The "insane nut" quote got Joey so mad, the complaint alleges, he called the neighbor a blanking so-and-so and said, "You are going to get it. I`m going to kill you."
But what won`t die is the video of the brawl. One YouTuber synchronized three different angles. He even added a fourth view when the match halted as even the players watched the fight. For a genteel sport, this was quite the volley.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What the hell is wrong with people? But you know, I actually enjoyed it. That`s the first time I`ve ever enjoyed the U.S. Open and tennis.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Security!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They`ve got to start this on golf now.
