HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - behind the breakup.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. There are brand-new revelations today in the Courteney Cox-David Arquette split. There has been a huge fallout from David`s unbelievably candid tell-all interview.
David is catching some serious heat for sharing intimate details of his and Courteney`s sex life and talking so candidly about his post-split fling. But now, David is doing a major about-face admitting he now realizes he said a whole lot more than he should have. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with Arquette`s breakup regrets.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
ARQUETTE: Breaks my heart.
HAMMER: Today, everyone`s in awe over David Arquette`s heartbreaking radio confession on Howard Stern`s satellite radio show, where he spilled every detail about his separation from his former screen costar and wife of 11 years, Courteney Cox. Arquette talked about their lack of sex.
ARQUETTE: We`re not having sex and I completely understand.
HAMMER: And the reason for their split.
ARQUETTE: She said to me, "I don`t want to be your mother anymore."
ERICKA SOUTER, STAFF WRITER, "US WEEKLY": It`s very rare that a celebrity goes on any show and confesses that their marriage is over or very explicit about the details.
HAMMER: Today, David Arquette is reaching the same conclusion lots of others have reached, too - perhaps he said too much on Stern`s show.
This afternoon, Arquette on Twitter, quote, "I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I`m experiencing. But while doing that, I shared too much. It`s all right for me to be honest about my own feelings, but in retrospect, some of the information I provided involved others. And for that, I am sorry and humbled."
He adds, quote, "I`m sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we have learned."
Today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dives right into the questions that remain even after Arquette`s tell-all interview, like, who is the mystery fling Arquette dished about?
ARQUETTE: I had sex with a girl once, maybe twice.
HAMMER: While Arquette has been blabbing on the radio, what`s Cox been up to? And how is their little girl dealing with the split?
In this new video from "Hollywood.TV," we see Arquette out with Coco, his six-year-old daughter with Cox.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Are you and Courteney still friends?
ARQUETTE: We`re best friends, man.
HAMMER: On Stern`s show yesterday, Arquette told the sad story of how he and Cox broke the news of their separation to their little girl.
ARQUETTE: Went to the beach and had a picnic, sat her down and explained to her that, you know, we`re grownups and a lot of times when grownups are growing up, they need to figure out their lives.
HOWARD STERN, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Right.
ARQUETTE: Sometimes that takes each other having a little space. She`s said, "Are you guys getting a divorce?" I said, "No, we`re not getting a divorce. We`re just talking time apart to get to know ourselves and each other better, and get to know what we want out of our mate better.
HAMMER: But even though Cox and Arquette have been separated for some time now, they waited until this week to announce their separation. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you they came clean to combat a tabloid rumor.
SOUTER: All these rumors had cropped up that David Arquette was having affair and that was the reason that their marriage broke up. So that wasn`t the case.
HAMMER: David Arquette tells Stern that when he and Cox separated, she told him to see other people and, boy, did he take her advice.
SOUTER: Her name is Jasmine Waltz. And he admits he did sleep with this woman once, maybe twice.
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has obtained this recent TMZ video of Jasmine Waltz whom reports describe as a waitress, bartender and aspiring actress. She hasn`t confirmed Arquette`s claims of a fling. This isn`t her first time making some of the headlines.
SOUTER: This is someone who has kind of been known to date a lot of celebrities. She`s been linked with Ryan Seacrest. She`s also been linked with Vinny of "Jersey Shore," Jesse McCarthy.
HAMMER: But Waltz` biggest claim to fame -
SOUTER: She`s known as a woman who hit Lindsay Lohan at a bar a couple of months ago.
HAMMER: But Arquette tells Stern that whatever it was he had with Waltz, it`s over.
STERN: You`ll never see that woman again, will you?
ARQUETTE: I may run into her but I`ll never do anything with her,
HAMMER: But what does Courteney have to say about all this?
SOUTER: Well, David kind airing all of their problems and being very open about it. But Courteney`s kept quiet.
HAMMER: So we`ll have to wait to hear Cox`s feelings about their split.
ARQUETTE: I`ve been begging Courteney to get back with me.
HAMMER: And how she feels about Arquette making it so public.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
I can`t imagine what Courteney is thinking about David`s very public revelations, which leads to today`s SHOWBIZ flashpoint - David said he shared too much. Should he have to apologize for speaking out?
Right now, from Hollywood, Tanika Ray, who is an entertainment journalist. And with me in New York, it`s Robi Ludwig, who is a psychotherapist and contributor to "Care.com."
I`ve got to tell you, I feel badly for David. Because really, all he wanted to do by going on Howard Stern`s show was set the record straight about the rumors that started to fly around over his split from Courteney.
But of course we know he said a whole lot more. And now, he even thinks he said too much. Today, on Twitter, he expressed his regrets. He said, "I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I`m experiencing, but while doing that, I shared too much."
"It`s all right for me to be honest about my own feelings, but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others. And for that, I am sorry and humbled."
Obviously, feeling very vulnerable right now. Based on his regrets, Tanika, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, should David have to apologize for speaking out?
TANIKA RAY, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: He doesn`t have to. He doesn`t owe us anything. He should to Courteney especially. I think - look, I want to celebrate a celebrity speaking honestly and openly. I think that`s a beautiful thing.
However, he should have waited until it really got messy. I think this would have gone away in two days if he had just let the story break out the way it did.
I understand Howard Stern`s a genius and I know you love him more than anything in this world, but Howard scored here big time. I don`t think that David realized, after 43 minutes of a conversation, we`re all listening.
And he may have just shot himself in the foot there. Yes, they`re not divorced yet. After this, they might be.
HAMMER: Yes. I do think that his vulnerability did get the better of him. A lot of people think David did Courteney and himself a huge disservice by speaking out in such great detail beyond killing the rumors.
Had he stopped there, maybe this wouldn`t have been a problem. So Dr. Robi, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think David should have to apologize? Or do you think he accomplished something by speaking out?
ROBI LUDWIG, PSYCHOTHERAPIST: Well, it sounds like he really wanted to be honest. And it sounds like he forgot that he was on the radio. It was somewhat cathartic for him to talk about the real issues going on.
HAMMER: Exactly.
LUDWIG: Does he need to apologize? Who he needs to apologize to is really his wife.
HAMMER: Yes.
LUDWIG: Because if it caused her any embarrassment, then he should be saying, "I`m sorry. I didn`t really realize what I was doing." But perhaps that`s where the problem is in the marriage. Perhaps he speaks without thinking and that can cause a lot of problem
RAY: There you go.
HAMMER: Well, and he did acknowledge in that Twitter - in his tweet, he did say, "It was when I involved others and talked about others where maybe I crossed the line." Now, maybe I crossed the line. He said he did cross the line. And by saying as much as he did, we did learn about some of Courteney`s biggest issues with David in their marriage.
During this interview with Howard Stern, David said that one of Courteney`s biggest complaints was that she was almost mothering him. Listen to this.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
ARQUETTE: On our 11th year anniversary, Courteney gave me a motorcycle.
STERN: I remember.
ARQUETTE: Yes. And she said to me, "I don`t want to be your mother anymore."
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right. You said that.
ARQUETTE: And I really appreciate that about her.
STERN: Right. In other words-
ARQUETTE: I appreciated it for yourself and for me.
STERN: Right. She doesn`t -
ARQUETTE: She didn`t want to tell me, like, "Don`t do that. Don`t do this." She didn`t want to nag me anymore.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. And that`s just pure honesty there. That revelation, though, from David sparked a big debate today over whether or not age might have had something to do with their split.
Courteney is 46. David is 39. So in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll today, here`s what we`re asking - "Courteney Cox and David Arquette`s Split: Do you think their seven-year age difference was a factor?"
Tanika, what about you? Are we talking maturity? Are we talking age? What do you think?
RAY: No, I think it`s just Courteney`s character. You know, my first job in Hollywood was on "Friends" as the stage PA before anybody was famous, so I`ve been able to watch her.
She`s the mommy-ger of everybody. That`s just who she is. She`s a nurturing person. And she is a renovator. She loves to re-flip houses and reorganize people`s closets. That`s just who she is.
So yes, she may have gotten to a point in her career and in her life where she`s like, "You know what? I don`t want to do that anymore with my husband." She`s 46 years old. She might be at a place where she`s ready to be nurtured herself, to find a guy that`s older than her.
Mind you, don`t forget, she was in a very long-term relationship with Michael Keaton when she was 25 and he was 38.
HAMMER: Right.
RAY: So it`s nothing about age. It`s about personalities.
HAMMER: Yes. She`s been on the other side, that`s a really good point. And seven years, not that big an age difference really in the grand scheme of things.
RAY: Exactly.
HAMMER: I do want to move on to another fired-up debate brewing today with the David Arquette-Courteney Cox split. Could an emotional affair have been to blame for Courteney and David`s split? We`re going to get to that. So Tanika Ray, Robi Ludwig, I want you to stay right where you are.
ANDERSON: OK. There is a Jennifer Aniston-Angelina Jolie beauty smackdown today. One of Hollywood`s biggest stars calls Angelina beautiful. Jennifer, not so much. That`s not nice.
Speaking of not nice, one of meanest Hollywood bloggers out there - he rips into stars all the time. I`m talking about Perez Hilton. He is going head to head with Ellen DeGeneres.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "ELLEN": So when you asked to be here, I`ve got say a lot of people have said that it`s not a good idea and advised me against it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Yes, I can understand why Ellen has some trepidation about having Perez Hilton on her show. New details revealed about their battle revealed today.
The million dollar streaker. Why would anyone want to try to run naked in front of President Obama? Well, for the chance to win $1 million.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dude, what are you doing? What are you doing?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: But will he get the bucks for baring it all? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: Now, it`s the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Complete set of Michael Jackson`s music videos to be released on November 22nd. Bon Jovi, Pink, Usher to perform at the American Music Awards airing November 21st.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The couple with the lowest overall combined total and therefore leaving right now is The Situation and Karina.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Aww. After four weeks of foot-pumping on "Dancing with the Stars," The Situation and his six-pack were booted from the show. But I have to wonder. What happened to The Situation nation? Did "Jersey Shore`s" six million viewers abandon their man?
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
And Brooke, a lot of people really surprised today that Sitch got the boot, even The Situation`s pectoral situation just couldn`t save him from getting voted off last night.
ANDERSON: Shocking, A.J. Well, not really, actually. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is speaking out today after getting kicked off "Dancing with the Stars" after only four episodes. And he says he`s still a winner. I love that positive attitude.
Right now, in New York, is Brian Balthazar, who is a journalist and comic and also the editor of "PopGoesTheWeek.com." It`s a great blog.
Hey, Brian, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just obtained brand-new video from "Hollywood.TV" of the Sitch out and about after dancing. And he doesn`t seem too upset about getting the boot from the ballroom.
And here`s why. On "Good Morning America" today, The Sitch says that the loss was still a victory for him.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SORRENTINO: I really wanted to show America a different side to me, that side of somebody that is, you know, a hard working kid, you know, a young adult, you know, really putting his all in.
Because in "Jersey Shore," you really just see a keyhole of the person who I really am. So I really set out to do something that I believe I accomplished and that`s showing people who the real Situation is.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: A keyhole, huh? He came, he showed people the real Situation, so to speak, and that wasn`t enough. I think his scores were so low that he was really beyond saving here. But Brian, are you surprised The Situation nation want able to keep the Sitch on the show?
BALTHAZAR: Well, I would be surprised a little bit if it weren`t for the fact that he was a horrible dancer, let`s be honest.
And I don`t think - the keyhole revealed that he is pretty much who he is without booze, basically. "Dancing with the Stars" doesn`t have him drunk. He`s still showing off. He was flexing through the elimination.
I know you`ve got abs. Stop showing them. I kind of like my butt but I don`t take my pants down every five minutes. He`s got to stop showing off.
ANDERSON: Yes. He was flexing his pecks. What was he doing? I couldn`t stop laughing. And you know, Brian, The Situation may be out, but his "Dancing" co-star, who is also in the bottom two with him, Bristol Palin, is still in.
And she`s getting all kinds of offers for work in Hollywood today. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there after the show. And we asked Bristol what she might want to explore. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BRISTOL PALIN, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: No acting or anything like that. I`m just focused on being a good mom to Tripp and - I know there`s lot of opportunities out there for me.
And I`m going to continue doing my speaking engagements and things like that. Definitely opening up a lot of doors. Yes, just (UNINTELLIGIBLE) what it is and if it fits my lifestyle and if it works for Tripp, too.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: So no acting for Bristol, but she says that she`s getting a lot of people knocking down her door. Brian, where do you see Bristol going next in Hollywood?
BALTHAZAR: Well, I think it`s an important word, "acting." She left it very wide open for a reality show. So maybe she wants to be the next Kate Gosselin. I`m sure she`s getting a lot of offers for reality, because, clearly, her reality is surreality. Surreality
ANDERSON: But what do you think? Should she and The Situation maybe reunite? Maybe she should do a cameo appearance on the "Jersey Shore" or something like that?
BALTHAZAR: I might throw up in my mouth if that were to happen. However, I think they`re better in different categories. You know, there`s certainly - you know, I wouldn`t say that Bristol has a huge personality.
But I think there`s lot happening around her and there might be some interest there. But I like to keep her and The Situation as far away from one another as possible.
ANDERSON: OK. And a lot of people relate to Bristol, I think. And she doesn`t seem super-interested in Hollywood. She just really wants to support herself and her son. Brian Balthazar, good to see you. Thanks.
HAMMER: More stunning brand-new revelations today about the Courteney Cox/David Arquette split. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - did Courteney have an emotional affair? And if so, could that be the reason - the reason - they broke up?
Also this -
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
PEREZ HILTON, CELEBRITY BLOGGER: A lot of people have called me a hypocrite and a bully myself and a big one.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Is there a brand-new battle today between mean star blogger, Perez Hilton and Ellen DeGeneres?
Also, the million-dollar streaker. This guy`s got guts to run naked in front of President Obama. What is he thinking? So will he get $1 million for doing it? The Secret Service didn`t Tase him. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Now, it`s the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Heidi Klum to host candid kid reality show on Lifetime. Jennifer Grey admits she still gets nervous doing "Dancing" each week.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JENNIFER GREY, ACTRESS: "Every week I don`t think I`m going to be able to do it. Every week. You should ask my husband. I`m like - a couple of days a week, I`m just like, "I don`t know how I`m going to do this one. This one is totally different. This one, I can`t do."
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANNOUNCER: Breathe normally. If you`re traveling with a child, first, put on your own mask and then the child`s mask. Keep mask on until you`re advised to remove it. Please take note of the emergency exits marked along each side of the cabin -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: First it was the ladies doing their safety demonstration set to Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Now, it`s the guys doing safety to "The Safety Dance."
Did you see this? The flight attendants of Cebu Pacific Airline sure do like to groove. Look at them. Now, the women came out with their blockbuster safety demo dance to Lady Gaga. And now, it`s the men`s turn showing us how to buckle our seatbelts for Men Without Hats` "Safety Dance."
OK. From men without hats to a guy with underwear for Helen Mirren. Russell Brand, a.k.a. Katy Perry`s fiance, just revealed today that he gave a pair of his undies to Dame Helen Mirren. Did that to his co-star in his two upcoming movies. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
RUSSELL BRAND: I was dashing from the building. We finished filming here in New York. I was in a rush to get a plane and I changed out of my clothes because I`d been working very hard, put on some fresh underwear and I still had a pair of underpants in this hand.
I did transfer it there. I was running out, running out. And I heard, "Russell." And it was Dame Helen Mirren. I said, "Oh, hello, Your Highness, Your Highness." Went over to her. And I still had the underpants. And she said, "You`re leaving us, are you?"
And I said, "Yes, I am, Dame Helen Mirren. It`s an honor to work with you. Great privilege, Your Grace, Your Highness. Some part of my stupid brain went, "Give them to her as a gift!" So I did. I presented them -
SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Very good -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: She still has them. So Brooke, I`ve got to ask you, you were in the movie "Get Him to the Greek" with Russell. Did he give you any special presents, underwear perhaps?
ANDERSON: I would just say that Russell Brand is the gift that keeps on giving, A.J., by being hilariously inappropriate. And he really does take his comedy seriously. He`s constantly focused on being funny in his own way, making people laugh. He knew Dame Helen Mirren had a sense of humor. He`s unpredictable and that`s why people love him.
HAMMER: OK. So you have no material items from him. I just want to set the record straight.
ANDERSON: No, I don`t.
HAMMER: Let`s move on to lots of activity on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall today. The hot topic, Brett Favre`s reported tearful apology to his team over a sexting scandal.
Now, Misty J. thinks Brett didn`t have to say "I`m sorry" to the Minnesota Vikings, "The only person he needs to apologize to are his wife and kids."
And controversy over Kim Kardashian posing nude in "W" magazine. That has our Facebook fans weighing in like Sunni J. who writes, "If I had her figure, I would do it, too. Who among us has not taken either naked or semi-naked cell phone pictures?" Me.
ANDERSON: And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
The Jennifer Aniston-Angelina Jolie beauty smackdown today. One of Hollywood`s biggest stars calls Angelina beautiful. Jennifer, not so much.
Hey, did Courteney Cox have an emotional affair? And this is one of the big reasons for Courteney Cox-David Arquette breakup.
And another guy was just arrested outside of Paris Hilton`s house. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - brand new revelations today about Courteney Cox and David Arquette`s big breakup. Is Courteney`s emotional affair to blame for their sudden split?
Plus, David backlash today, with revealing details about his fling with another woman, the worst start sex confession ever?
The Jennifer Aniston-Angelina Jolie beauty smackdown today. One of Hollywood`s biggest stars says Angelina is beautiful and Jennifer, not so much.
Ellen versus Perez Hilton? Ellen DeGeneres` dramatic face-off with one of the meanest celebrity bloggers.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DEGENERES: So when you asked to be here, I`ve got to say a lot of people said it`s not a good idea and advised me against it.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Why Ellen and Perez are going at it today.
Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," Taylor Swift`s brand new confessions about her ex, Taylor Lautner. And "30 Rock" is going to do it live.
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Courteney Cox`s emotional affair?
HAMMER: Yes. David Arquette says no way, no how did Courteney have a sexual affair before their shocking separation. But there are growing questions about whether or not she had an emotional affair.
Now, this comes just as David tweets new details that he thinks he shared too much about his marriage meltdown. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask today if an emotional affair could have been worse than hooking up.
Right now, in Hollywood, is Tanika Ray. She is an entertainment journalist. With me, in New York, Robi Ludwig. She is a psychotherapist and contributor for "Care.com."
David Arquette gave a very raw and very emotional interview to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM Satellite Radio show. He wanted to set the record state. David said that he and Courteney had set down some ground rules about their separation that happened months ago, that they agreed to see other people.
David told Howard some of the personal details of his own sex life. But when it came to Courteney, Howard had some thoughts about the report that had been flying around that Courteney was cheating with her "Cougar Town" co-star. Listen to this.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
ARQUETTE: I truly don`t think she ever had an affair with Brian Van Holt who happens to be on "Cougar Town" every Wednesday.
STERN: Right. You are the producer.
ARQUETTE: On ABC.
STERN: Right. But seriously, when those reports came out, did you confront her about that?
ARQUETTE: Yes.
STERN: And what did she say?
ARQUETTE: She denied it.
STERN: She did?
ARQUETTE: Yes.
STERN: And you believe her?
ARQUETTE: I do believe her.
STERN: All right. So then -
ARQUETTE: I do believe her on that level. On an emotional level, I think she may have -
STERN: Bonded with him?
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. It seems that David agreed that Courteney may have had an emotional bond with another man. So Tanika, to today`s SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, could an emotional affair be to blame for Courteney and David`s split?
RAY: You know, absolutely. But here`s the thing, you can`t really put your finger on one reason. It`s been an 11-year relationship.
But I do want to say an emotional affair from a woman and a physical affair from a man are probably equal. So you never know what`s going to be - what`s the absolute cause. But it definitely doesn`t help when a couple is having some strife. That`s for sure.
HAMMER: Yes. I mean, somebody else is involved at some level. You make a good point. There are probably a lot of guys out there that don`t know what the heck an emotional affair is.
RAY: Exactly.
HAMMER: But this morning on "The View," co-host Sherri Shepherd broke it down. Watch what she said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": I think it`s why it seems like it`s different with the way men and women - like if you cheat in a relationship, I think a man knows if a woman has an emotional affair with a man, she`d left.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. Given Sherri`s definition, Robi, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think an emotional affair could be to blame in the situation? And I agree with Tanika. It`s not necessarily one thing.
RAY: Right.
WALSH: Well, it`s probably the issues that led to an emotional affair that could contribute to the breakup. People just don`t have an emotional affair for no reason.
HAMMER: There`s something missing.
WALSH: Basically, it`s turning to another person with the intimate details of your life. So you are basically treating that other person like your emotional husband or spouse.
And that obviously can cause a rift in a relationship, but you`re usually getting something from that other person that your partner is not giving you.
HAMMER: Yes. You want the communication to be really primarily between partners about the important stuff.
WALSH: Right.
HAMMER: Certainly, you can have your confidantes but when all of it is in one person -
WALSH: When they`re your first go-to person -
HAMMER: Not a good thing. Big red flag there. All right. Let me move now from Courteney`s possible emotional affair to David`s post-separation sex confessions about his sex life with his wife and another woman. Listen to what he just revealed on Howard Stern`s radio show about that.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ARQUETTE: My sex with Courteney is kind of - you know, it`s scheduled to a certain degree.
STERN: Right.
ARQUETTE: And it`s methodical to a certain degree. It`s so full of love. It`s so beautifully passionate. My sexual encounters were maybe - made me feel pretty manly.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: OK. I appreciate David`s candor. I get that he wanted to set the record straight about the false reports that were flying around. But Brooke, even now, David is saying that these confessions really crossed the line of what was appropriate so soon after their split.
ANDERSON: Oh, my goodness, A.J. I am thinking this confession really ranks right up there with some of the worst in the sex confession hall of fame - I should say "shame" - right up there with John Mayer calling Jessica Simpson "addictive" and "sexual napalm." And Guy Ritchie reportedly saying after his split from Madonna that having sex with her was like cuddling up to a good piece of gristle because of her chiseled body.
Tanika, David just tweeted today that, you know, maybe he over-shared a little bit with Howard Stern, with the world. You think David -
RAY: And we all say, "No, duh, David."
ANDERSON: I know, right? What in the world were you thinking? But in the sex confession hall of shame, how does his revelation rank?
RAY: Well, first of all, Madonna and Guy Ritchie - no shocker there. She is very strong and muscular. Gristle - that`s funny.
I think the worst ever is John Mayer talking about Jessica Simpson saying she`s sexual napalm and going into the dirty details of their sex life.
ANDERSON: But he was - he was only trying to pay her a compliment.
RAY: A backhanded compliment doesn`t work especially since they`ve been hooking up for like two years. That was just as dirty as you can get. This is just TMI, David. And I think he`s just a child internally.
ANDERSON: Immature -
RAY: He`s immature and I think that`s part of the reason why Courteney needs to move on, maybe.
ANDERSON: Maybe he did sometime.
RAY: Yes.
ANDERSON: Robi, what do you think? How does that rank? Because I think David was totally disrespectful and insensitive, basically saying that his sex life with his wife was scheduled and predictable and rote.
RAY: Yes.
ANDERSON: I mean, I would be fuming if my husband said those things.
LUDWIG: I agree. It`s a horrible thing to say. But I don`t think his intention really was to be mean. I think he`s a child.
RAY: Yes.
LUDWIG: And I almost think like he was talking to Howard Stern as like a big brother therapist -
RAY: Absolutely.
LUDWIG: That he was hoping for some clarification. Did he reveal too much? Yes, because, you know, a very popular radio show is not therapy. It can be therapeutic, but it`s not therapy.
ANDERSON: Courteney, call Howard elsewhere.
RAY: Exactly. Go have a beer with him somewhere. Don`t tell all of us.
HAMMER: All right. Well, listen, whatever the reason for the split, Courteney and David - well, they`ve been married for 11 years. I always liked them as a couple. I liked the fact that they were so different.
RAY: Yes.
ANDERSON: Yes.
HAMMER: So I was caught off guard by their split, but not everyone was surprised. Just got the results handed to me of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Here is what we asked - "Courteney Cox and David Arquette: Are you shocked that they split up?"
And look at those results. Fifty-four percent of you say yes; 46 no. So it`s pretty evenly split. Tanika, given how they always seemed to be such opposites, does it surprise that you a large majority isn`t shocked by their separation?
RAY: No, because I think we`re more shocked that they lasted 11 years. I think ever since they got together, we were like, huh? And it just lasted and lasted until we`re like, OK, maybe opposites do attract and they`re able to work it out.
So it`s not a shock that they`re splitting. It`s definitely one of those things where like we`ll have to wait and see. Maybe they`ll work it out. Maybe the honesty will push them in the right direction. Who knows?
HAMMER: We can only guess, but based on what we`ve seen, do you see them being able to work this out? Or do you see from all these signs that she`s maybe checked out already?
LUDWIG: Well, it sounds like she is changing what she wants. Maybe, initially, she wanted to be maybe more mom-like and in control. And maybe now she wants something different. So if that`s the case -
RAY: She`s evolving.
LUDWIG: She may not look to her husband to get that.
HAMMER: Whatever it winds up being, I wish them the best and the best for their kids. And I know they are terrific parents to Coco. Tanika Ray, Robi Ludwig, thank you both.
ANDERSON: All right. Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie`s brand-new beauty bombshell. A legendary star`s shocking revelation that, in her eyes, Angelina is beautiful but Jennifer is, well, not.
Plus, Ellen takes on celebrity bad boy blogger Perez Hilton today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HILTON: A lot of people have called me a hypocrite and a bully myself, and a big one.
ANDERSON: Perez` incredible face-off with Ellen DeGeneres. Hey, what would you do for $1 million? I know what I would not do and that`s get naked in front of the president of the United States.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, god! Dude, what are you doing?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: I`m here to tell you dude may have gotten naked for nothing. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Jessica Simpson`s boyfriend, Eric Johnson, is now officially divorced. "30 Rock" cast prepping for two live broadcasts Thursday night.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ALEC BALDWIN, ACTOR: It`s going to be fun. I mean, we never did this before live on the air. So we`ll see how it goes. I think it`s going to be great.
And the people who run the show, like Tina and Robert, they - they`re smart. Not just funny lines, but certainly, they`re smart in terms of what we can do and what we can do best. So this is really - I don`t think that she would ever agree to do this unless she thought it was something we could do well.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Hey, welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, A.J. Hammer in New York.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. There is big news breaking in "The Buzz" today. The Angelina Jolie-Jennifer Aniston beauty smackdown. Which big name star just dissed Jen by comparing her to Angelina Jolie and not in a favorable way?
Paris Hilton`s scary home invasion. Another intruder allegedly tries to break in. Plus, brand-new details about Christina Aguilera`s shocking split.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over) Christina Aguilera`s split shocker. Aguilera just revealed to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that she and her hubby, Jordan Bratman, are splitting after five years of marriage.
Christina says it`s just a separation for now and there are no immediate plans to divorce. In a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, she says, quote, "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever."
Another Paris intruder. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has confirmed that another man was just arrested outside Paris Hilton`s home. Police say a man rode his bicycle past the security gate to Paris` L.A. home, started pounding on her door and then struggled with security guards.
The unidentified individual was taken into custody and charged with battery on a security guard. This is the second time in two months a trespasser has invaded Paris` property. Hilton, fortunately, was not home during the incident.
The Joan Collins-Jennifer Aniston smackdown. In a brand-new interview, the "Dynasty" star slammed Jennifer Aniston`s looks while complimenting Angelina Jolie. In an interview with "Hello" magazine, Collins says actresses like Aniston just aren`t as good looking as they used to be.
Then, quote, "I have to say there aren`t that many good looking actresses around today. I mean, there`s Angelina Jolie and there`s Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston is cute but I wouldn`t call her beautiful. When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous."
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Oh, snap. Joan Collins thinks Angelina is beautiful, Jen, well, not so much. Is there a beauty war brewing?
Right now, in New York, is Brian Balthazar who is the editor to the site, PopGoesTheWeek.com. Also, in New York is Paulina Porizkova who is a blogger for "Modelinia.com" and "The Huffington Post."
OK. Brian, Paulina, I was shocked that Joan Collins thinks that Hollywood is lacking beautiful actresses. What about Jessica Alba, Jessica Beal, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner - the list goes on and on.
But what was more surprising is what Joan had to say about Jennifer Aniston. Here`s what Joan said to the U.K. "Daily Mail," "Jennifer Aniston general is cute but I wouldn`t call her beautiful. She`s no Ava Gardner or Lana Turner."
Well, Joan, obviously, has no filter anymore at a certain point. Sometimes it just disappears with age, right? Paulina, I want to ask you. Do you think Joan`s comments were out of line?
PAULINA PORIZKOVA, BLOGGER, "MODELINIA.COM": No, I think she`s just voicing an opinion and I think that we should all be allowed to voice our opinion. It`s not like she`s bullying Jennifer Aniston. I think she`s just - you know, she`s just saying her opinion.
And as a matter of fact, I kind of agree. But before you kill me, I don`t think that it has anything to do with - I have I to put in - Jennifer Aniston is no less attractive than Angelina Jolie. In fact, I think she might be more attractive to most people.
I think Angelina Jolie is so sort of mathematically perfect that she`s almost intimidating. But for, you know, mathematically, for pulchritude, yes, Angelina Jolie is it. And Jennifer Aniston is gorgeous but in a different way.
ANDERSON: OK. I`m trying to understand Paulina.
PORIZKOVA: Yes. I thought I was perfectly clear.
ANDERSON: OK. All right. We do know that ever since Brad Pitt called it quits with Jennifer Aniston and moved on to Angelina Jolie, people have really divided themselves between Team Jolie and Team Aniston. Brian, it certainly looks like Joan Collins is on Team Jolie. Paging Team Aniston.
BRIAN BALTHAZAR, EDITOR, "POPGOESTHEWEEK.COM": I mean, I wish someone could just give Jennifer Aniston a break. Please, Joan had nothing to gain from saying this other than publicity.
And thank you, Joan, for perpetuating this impossible standard of beauty that has teenage girls up at night right now, torturing themselves. This was a very "Mean Girls" moment - meets "The Golden Girls" at her age. But I just thought it was unnecessary and unfair, really.
PORIZKOVA: She was just stating - (UNINTELLIGIBLE) an opinion.
(CROSS TALK)
ANDERSON: As Paulina said, Jennifer Aniston is a gorgeous person. We should celebrate all of our differences.
PORIZKOVA: Exactly.
ANDERSON: There does not have to be one standard definition of beauty. I get that. Jennifer Aniston should not sweat this.
OK. A.J., that snarky comment from Joan Collins was really more like something I would expect to hear from celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton. But Perez is now trying to change his tune, right?
HAMMER: He is, Brooke. Perez Hilton is saying he`s no longer going to bully celebrities on his popular Web site. You`ve got to see this. Perez went on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" today and told the world he`s changing his ways. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HILTON: I`m going to do things differently on my Web site than I have in the past. I`m not going to call people nasty nicknames. I`m not going to go the mean route.
I`m going to force myself to try and be funnier or smarter or just do things differently, not doodle inappropriate things, not out people, which I have done all of those things.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Perez also said that he didn`t know he was considered a bully until recently. I think it`s a great thing what Perez Hilton is trying to do. But Paulina, do you think Perez, moving from his stock and trade, going from naughty to nice, is really easier said than done for him?
PORIZKOVA: Well, I think - I think there is a big difference between opinion and bullying. For example, if you called me an old hag, it`s your opinion you and it`s OK. It might hurt my feelings but you`re not really bullying me.
If you call me a fascist and you put out a big blog about it every week, then you`re bullying me.
HAMMER: OK.
PORIZKOVA: So I think he`s been doing it. He`s been outing people. He`s been outing gay people.
(CROSS TALK)
HAMMER: Here`s the thing - I`ve got to end it there, but I think it`s going to be a time-will-tell situation. We`ll leave it there. Brian Balthazar, Paulina Porizkova, thank you so much.
All right. What would you do for $1 million? In this economy, you know, a lot of people are willing to do just about anything. But getting totally naked in front of President Obama? Even for $1 million, I think it`s kind of dumb.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, god. Dude, what are you doing?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, I`m here to tell you today, this guy may not even get the million he thought he was and that he thought he had coming to him for getting naked. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Taylor Swift says she will always have a crush on her ex, Taylor Lautner. Avril Lavigne to "Maxim" magazine: "I`m old-fashioned, I like a classy man."
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: All right. What would you do for $1 million? Would you get naked in front of President Obama? A New York man with a whole lot of nerve rose to the challenge for a shot at $1 million. I`m here to tell you dude may have gotten naked for nothing.
Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the naked truth about the million-dollar streaker.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
JEANNE MOOS, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): When President Obama said -
BARACK OBAMA, UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: This is a good locking crowd.
MOOS: Little did we know how good a look we`d get at one naked crowd member.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dude, what are you doing?
MOOS: What he was doing was yelling the name of the Web site, "BattleCam.com," with it written on his naked chest. The Web site had offered $1 million to anyone who streaked and was seen streaking by the president.
To pay up or not to pay up, that is the question. The 24-year-old streaker, Juan Rodriguez, came out of jail telling reporters he succeed in his mission to streak the president.
JUAN RODRIGUEZ, "NAKED STREAKER": I was close enough to him. I was, like, 10 feet away from him.
MOOS: But the billionaire with the money told Russia TV -
ALKI DAVID, CEO, "BATTLECAM.COM": We do not know whether he was, A, within eyesight and earshot of the president.
MOOS: Sure didn`t act like he saw anything strange. And at the White House briefing -
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Whether the president saw the streaker who was trying to win $1 million at the rally.
ROBERT GIBBS, WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY: Whether the president saw the streaker? I don`t know.
MOOS: The spokesman said he didn`t know. The Greek billionaire handing out the prize says he`s trying to get confirmation from the president himself through some Greek diplomats he knows. But there was skepticism online - "Pay up, you deadbeat. Stiff."
DAVID: I`m certainly not going to stiff this guy. I would be delighted, absolutely delighted to give it away.
MOOS: Alki David is himself a prankster. This is how he ended his interview with Russia TV.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, boy.
DAVID: "Battle Cam!" "BattleCam.com!" I love you, Jen!
MOOS: I love you Jen refers to David`s fiancee who has pranked him by putting lipstick on him and then waking him up with an air horn.
That got his attention. But nothing seems to get the president, even when an overenthusiastic supporter tossed a soft covered book he`d written for President Obama. As Jimmy Kimmel joked -
JIMMY KIMMEL, HOST, "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE": Obama didn`t seem to notice, but the Secret Service did. Look, it`s Justin Bieber`s autobiography.
MOOS: A book goes flying by, so does a streaker all at the same rally.
(on camera) Our favorite part of the streaker video was when security used campaign posters to hide all the naughty parts.
(voice-over) Honestly, is this any way to get out the vote or move America forward? Looks more like we`re falling behind.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: Thanks to CNN`s Jeanne Moos. So Brooke, this guy took the challenge and got thrown in jail. And now, he might not get the million bucks. I`m actually thinking I hope President Obama saw the guy.
ANDERSON: I do, too, A.J. He humiliated himself all for nothing potentially. Maybe he should have read the fine print of this challenge.
HAMMER: That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.
HAMMER: We`ll see you at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on HLN as well.
