HAMMER: Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from Hollywood with Brooke Anderson.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: That`s right. And there`s big news breaking today. Taylor Swift tells all. Hey, you`d better not mess with Taylor, because if you do, you may become the target of her soon.

HAMMER: That`s right. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first brought you the story about Taylor seems to be targeting John Mayer in her brand-new song for possibly breaking her heart.

And now, Taylor`s other possible target. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today a first look at a no-holds-barred tell-all that Taylor just did for the new issue of "People" magazine that is about to be released.

And Taylor is talking about extremes here, including extreme pain. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the Taylor tale that got her singing some different tunes.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(MUSIC)

(voice-over) It could be the biggest musical mystery since Carly Simon sang "You`re So Vain" about a mysterious unnamed ex. Today, everyone is asking, is young country superstar Taylor Swift`s brand-new song called, "Dear John," really about a disastrous romance with musical bad boy John Mayer?

Now, in a new issue of "People" magazine SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today, Taylor Swift is speaking out for the first time about the name she`s naming or not naming in her song.

Swift tells people, quote, "I will say everything in my music. I have never written a song that I haven`t meant and I mean it all."

JOEY BARTOLOMEO, INTERVIEWED TAYLOR SWIFT FOR "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Taylor is someone who admits that is very shy and coy when it comes to talking about her personal life. But she says she will write everything in her songs and her songs say it all.

HAMMER: In the "People" cover story released today, Swift says, "There`s been extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs. Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them."

And now, it appears she`s trying to get over John Mayer in a song from her upcoming new album, "Speak Now." In that new song, which just happens to be called, "Dear John," Swift sings, "It was wrong. Don`t you think nineteen`s too young to be played by your dark twisted games when I loved you so?"

BARTOLOMEO: Taylor won`t talk directly about who the subjects of her songs are. But her album is really based on the last two years of her life.

HAMMER: Joey Bartolomeo, who interviewed Swift for the brand-new "People" cover story revealed today, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Taylor is dodging the Mayer question.

BARTOLOMEO: I asked her point blank if it was about John Mayer. And she just widened her eyes and didn`t answer if it was or if it wasn`t.

HAMMER: OK. It looks like Taylor Swift is pleading the Fifth here so SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will examine the overwhelming evidence that "Dear John" is about this John.

The first piece of evidence: Late last year when Swift was 19, reports started swirling that she and John Mayer were dating after they were seen together quite often, either performing on stage or just generally looking chummy. That alone makes Mayer the best "Dear John" candidate.

BARTOLOMEO: It just seems like of all the people that we know that she`s been with, there haven`t been any other famous guys named John.

HAMMER: Another sign that Swift`s new song is about John Mayer, Mayer`s previous record. He`s left a trail of angry exes throughout Hollywood, including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson. And judging by the lyrics, Taylor Swift sure sounds like another angry ex.

BARTOLOMEO: In the song, Taylor references being too young for the guy, also that people told her to run as fast as you can and that her mother thought that she had lost her mind.

HAMMER: And the best evidence yet that Taylor`s new song is, indeed, about John Mayer, Swift`s previous record.

BARTOLOMEO: Taylor`s known for writing songs about her personal life.

HAMMER: Some of Swift`s other songs are widely believed about her ex- boyfriends Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner. But in the new issue of "People" revealed today, Swift is still playing coy.

BARTOLOMEO: I asked her if one of the songs called "Back in December" was about Taylor Lautner and said, "correct me if I`m wrong," and she just looked at me and said, "You`re so cute."

HAMMER: But whether she is naming names or not, those who have gotten the Swift treatment should have seen it coming. Swift says, quote, "This is album number three, so I figured that these people have had fair warning."

Speaking of fair warning, Taylor, we have one for you. After almost 40 years, people are still asking Carly Simon who the heck "You`re So Vain" is about. So Taylor, prepare to deal with questions about "Dear John" for a little while longer.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: We could bet Taylor will be facing a lot of questions about her confessional new album and this very revealing new interview. That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - will Taylor regret making these brand-new revelations about her life and her past love?

Right now, in Hollywood, Maria Menounos, who is a special correspondent for "Access Hollywood." And with us in Hollywood right now, Ken Baker - he is "E`s" chief news correspondent.

Brooke, I have always appreciated Taylor`s honesty and her candor. But Ken, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think she will regret revealing so much personal information here?

KEN BAKER, CHIEF NEWS CORRESPONDENT, "E!": You know, I don`t think she`ll regret it. She`s a very young girl but she`s also a very smart girl.

HAMMER: Yes.

BAKER: And like we said in the setup piece, she always has pulled from her personal life. She`s written - you know, she`s written songs about being ridiculed as a kid and, you know, very intimate, personal things.

And I think this is just a long line of that. This is the last one. But make no mistake. If this song is not about John Mayer, then "Here Comes Santa Claus" isn`t about Santa Claus.

HAMMER: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Right, right, right. And you know, a lot of people can identify with her lyrics and what she`s been through. She`s an open book. Obviously, it is working for the girl. She`s earned an estimated $45 million.

And it is no secret that if you date her, there probably will be a song written about you. So, fellows, you`ve got fair morning. But Maria, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think Taylor will regret revealing so much personal information?

MARIA MENOUNOS, SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT, "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD": You know, I think when you are releasing an album and your first album was such a big hit, you want to make sure the next one is, too.

And I think that the album is called "Speak Now," that`s what she`s doing. And I think she wants to sell albums. So you know, is it a fine line to walk? Maybe. You know, maybe guys will be a little apprehensive about dating her from here on out.

But I think there is a really nice quality to her and I think that being honest and then not really revealing too much is cool.

ANDERSON: Yes.

MENOUNOS: I appreciate her honesty.

HAMMER: And you really can`t say it has hurt her so far. All right. We do want to move on because there is another big story making news today.

Brand new drama on the MTV reality show, "Teen Mom." Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you one of the teen moms featured on the show, Amber Portwood, is now under investigation for domestic violence.

Amber was caught on camera kicking and punching her on-again/off-again fiance. And at times, their child was in the same room. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GARY SHIRLEY, CAST MEMBER, "TEEN MOM": Amber -

AMBER PORTWOOD, CAST MEMBER, "TEEN MOM": No! I swear to god, I wish I was bigger than you so I can (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

SHIRLEY: One more hit.

PORTWOOD: One more hit - what, are you going to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hit me?

SHIRLEY: No.

PORTWOOD: Do you want get crushed, you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) face?

SHIRLEY: You want to hit me then. All right. Are you done? Are you seriously done?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Obviously, this is really disturbing. Well, along with the police getting involved, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Child Protective Services is investigating the situation.

Ken, is it just time Amber`s kid is taken away? I mean, this is not right.

BAKER: Yes. I mean, she`s what we call a POW, a piece of work. I mean, clearly, anyone who has seen the show knows this. But the thing is that - I mean, really, I don`t want to make light of this, but they need fiance protective services to get into this. I mean, she really is abusive, not just physically, but verbally to this guy.

ANDERSON: Yes.

BAKER: It`s outrageous what she gets away with. She`s very controversial. Back home, in Indiana, there`s a bunch of local people who just want her to move out of town. She`s not popular at all.

And now, with the child, I mean, who is almost a two-year-old, you know, just a little kid who is witnessing this, a lot of people are disturbed by it. It raises a lot of serious question.

ANDERSON: It`s criminal to subject a child to this. She goes berserk with the child in the room at times. And you know, just last night, MTV aired the "Teen Mom" reunion special.

On this show, Dr. Drew Pinsky sat down with Amber, tried to talk sense into her, asked her what she was thinking when she punched and kicked the father of her child.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PORTWOOD: I mean, I knew what I was doing, but I don`t - when I watched it back, I don`t remember it being like that. I don`t remember that like being so much. And it`s like - I feel like I hit him one time and I watched and I`m hitting, like, multiple times.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Aha, multiple times. Amber also admitted to also being out of it during her violent verbal outbursts. And like I say, we know that some of the violent episodes were caught by MTV cameras.

In fact, the baby has been in the room during at least one of them. We`ve seen that. I think if a baby, wherever in harm`s way, that MTV should have jumped in and should have intervened. Maria, do you agree?

MENOUNOS: You know, I think that they`re in a difficult position, but at least they should have taken the child out of the room, I think. I mean, I`m absolutely horrified. I have chills all the way down my body. I`m sick to my stomach watching this.

This girl is only upset because she got caught and she`s now seeing the ramifications of this and she is being investigated. Gary, call me. There are girl out there that will treat you well, that will not abuse you.

It is absolutely not a position you need to be in. And it`s sad because he`s taking it and it`s absolutely horrific. I mean, this child needs to be safe and this girl, at some point, is going to take out her anger on the child.

ANDERSON: Yes. Oh, I hope to God that never, ever happens. And Maria, expect a call from Gary really soon, I`m sure. Maria Menounos, Ken Baker -

MENOUNOS: I will help him.

ANDERSON: Thanks, guys.

HAMMER: Well, there`s a whole lot of teen mom drama going on today, including a big break for Bristol Palin.

(MUSIC)

Well, Bristol bust as move in a gorilla suit and somehow survives to dance another day. Think about it. Could Bristol actually win "Dancing with the Stars"?

"Glee" girls gone wild. The startling outrage today over the stars of "Glee" sexed up in these "GQ" photos. Today`s SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - good move or bad move?

David Arquette`s former fling making an outrageous admission today - she loves her newfound fame?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JASMINE WALTZ, DAVID ARQUETTE`S FORMER FLING: I like these cameras in my face. Who doesn`t? It`s attention, and I don`t think there`s many people out there that say, "I don`t want any attention."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Fame for having a fling? Yes, that`s smart. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Jean Claude Van Damme reveals on his Facebook page he did not have a heart attack. Casting is now underway for new naked reality TV show.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: We welcome you back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer.

HAMMER: And Brooke, there is big news breaking in "The Buzz" today. Elton John`s war of words today over Vince Vaughn`s gay joke controversy. Also, Susan Boyle`s stunning revelations to Oprah Winfrey today about being bullied. And is Tyra Banks` life in danger? What a judge just agreed to do to keep the supermodel safe.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Tyra`s stalker shocker. Tyra Banks has just gotten a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker, 39-year-old Martin Williams, Jr. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tyra told the judge, quote, "I am in fear from Mr. Williams for my personal safety and that of those around me, including my family and employees."

The six-foot-two, 225 Williams reportedly believes he`s going to marry Tyra which was busted trespassing on a property. TMZ reports the restraining order is valid until October 28th when it could be made permanent.

Boyle`s bully heartbreak -

(MUSIC)

Singing sensation Susan Boyle just revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she was brutally bullied growing up. She says she`s been hit and even burned with cigarettes. But Boyle says it was the vicious name-calling that hurt her the most.

SUSAN BOYLE, SINGER: It made me feel as if nobody loved me. I didn`t really matter.

HAMMER: Elton on the war path. Elton John is furious over the use of the word "gay in Vince Vaughn`s new movie, "The Dilemma." John says he agrees with CNN`s Anderson Cooper after Cooper came down on the gay joke in the film`s trailer.

John tells "UsMagazine.com," quote, "Anderson`s heart is in exactly the right place, same as mine. He thinks the way I do. He`s intelligent and on the side of what we`re on. I hate bigotry. I hate racial hatred. I hate sexual hatred. I mean, Anderson is on our side."

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: OK. Elton is just furious and he`s just the latest star to jump on the bandwagon against Vaughn`s film. So will Elton being the straw that broke the camel`s back, forcing filmmakers to make a change?

Right now, in New York is Megan Alexander who is correspondent for "Inside Edition."

Megan, first Anderson Cooper, now Elton John. With all of this outrage surrounding the film, what do you think the chances are that Universal Studios, which is distributing the movie, will cave and pull that controversial gay joke entirely?

MEGAN ALEXANDER, CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Well, Brooke, you guys know that I have no problem going after Hollywood and holding them accountable. I think this conversation is very refreshing and it`s healthy.

I think that Elton John and Anderson Cooper and others are saying, "Look, let`s stop using certain words for the sake of a laugh." And was that line even really that funny?

You know, actor Vince Vaughn and others need to say, "We want better material. We want lines that are, you know, actually good comedy. It reminds me, Brooke, of - in school when - why do people always assume it would be funny to make fun of the overweight person?

ANDERSON: Yes.

ALEXANDER: You know, we hear the phrase, "Sticks and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Well, the recent headlines of teens actually committing suicide have proven that statement wrong.

ANDERSON: Absolutely -

ALEXANDER: I think it`s good that people are talking about this. And it doesn`t stop here. Next, we need to go after violence in films. It`s healthy conversation.

ANDERSON: You don`t like to say - you do not have to be insulting or offensive to be funny.

ALEXANDER: No, sure don`t. Sure don`t -

HAMMER: Well, listen, no matter what happens, I`ve got to tell you, I`m guessing this controversy is not going to go away any time soon or quietly at that.

I do want to move on quickly to big Lindsay Lohan news. She`s still in legal limbo today. She`s in rehab now, but she has a big court date, Friday, a probation hearing for failing a drug test last month, which is a violation of her deal.

Even though she`s in rehab, a judge might throw her back in the slammer. Quickly, Megan, I`m thinking Lindsay`s better off in rehab. But do you think she should go to jail this time and pay the piper?

ALEXANDER: You know, I have been a fan of tough love on Lindsay Lohan since the beginning. But A.J., since September 27, she`s been in the Betty Ford Clinic. Things have been pretty quiet. I actually think she should stay there -

HAMMER: Yes.

ALEXANDER: Until the holidays, continue to do good work. And I hope the judge will look into it and see how she`s done.

HAMMER: See what happens on Friday. Megan Alexander, thanks.

ANDERSON: And well, Lindsay Lohan`s dad says he`s done with Lindsay, but not really. He says he`s done speaking out about Lindsay. Michael says he`s going to zip his lip. I`m sure we`ve heard this one before. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask do you believe him?

"Glee" girls go wild in "GQ" magazine. Check out these shots posing in their underwear. It`s sparking massive outrage today. But is there anything wrong with the photos?

Brand-new details about a creep trying to win the affection of Cameron Diaz. This guy bussed up a Yankees play-off game allegedly aiming for A- Rod, and it`s all caught on tape. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Legendary actress Kim Novak reveals she is being treated for breast cancer. Jesse James shuts down his motorcycle shop, West Coast Choppers.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JESSE TYLER FERGUSON, ACTOR: With your support of Fight Back New York, he and I can be married here in New York by this time next year.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Jesse, Alec`s not gay.

FERGUSON: Yes, he is.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, he`s straight.

FERGUSON: No, he`s not. Are you serious? Why would you spring this on me here?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Alec Baldwin getting married? That sounds like the perfect storyline for "Modern Family" or "30 Rock," doesn`t it? But Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Alec Baldwin are not planning to tie the knot, and that`s because they can`t, even if they wanted to in the state of New York.

Alec and Jesse may be joking about marriage but they are very serious about the fight for gay marriage in New York. Check out Alec`s brand-new video message on behalf of "FightBackPAC.com."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALEC BALDWIN, ACTOR: Lately, I`ve been getting a lot of phone calls, E- mails, texts and, yes, tweets about a video Jesse Tyler Ferguson made that`s making the rounds of the Internet.

On it, Jesse said he and I were getting married in New York next year. As a result of this video, a vast and malicious whisper campaign has emerged alleging that I can`t marry Jesse because I`m not gay.

I hear people saying this behind my back on a daily basis, "Oh, Alec Baldwin - he`s straight. He is a heterosexual. He likes women."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Alec, you are straight.

BALDWIN: That`s not the point. There is one reason and one reason only why I can`t marry Jesse in New York next year at the New York state Senate. No one tells a New Yorker that they can`t marry Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Alec Baldwin is the latest A-list celebrity to join the fight for gay rights in New York State. While Jesse and Alec won`t be walking down the aisle, the openly-gay Jesse, who is one of the stars of ABC`s "Modern Family," says he should be able to marry who he wants to.

HAMMER: I think they make a lovely couple. Time now for the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

"Glee" girls go wild in this racy "GQ" magazine photo shoot. The stars in their underwear sparking intrigue and outrage. It`s today`s SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - a good move or bad move?

Bristol`s big break. Dancing in a gorilla suit wasn`t enough to get her kicked off the show. It Sarah Palin`s daughter about to blow away the competition?

And Jon Gosselin`s super-sized, over-the-top apology to his ex-wife Kate. What Jon just said is just remarkable, but do we believe him? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

Plus breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - T.I. gets the endorsement "Axe." And J-Woww gets shut down?

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from Hollywood with Brooke Anderson.

ANDERSON: That`s right, and there`s big news breaking today - brand-new outrage over a racy photo spread with the cast of "Glee." Now, A.J., people are not singing their praises today.

HAMMER: No, they`re not, Brooke. It is "Glee" gone wild. A great big debate broke out today over some sexed-up photos of "Glee`s" young cast in "GQ" magazine. Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Lea Michele`s provocative poses and photos and barely-there "Glee" wear has parents up in arms today.

That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, "Glee" girls gone wild in "GQ" - is there anything wrong with that?

Right now in New York, Jennifer Armstrong who is a senior writer for "Entertainment Weekly." She wrote this book about the perils of young stardom. It`s called "Why? Because We Still Like You." And with us in Hollywood, Ken Baker, who is the chief news correspondent for "E! News."

Look, I don`t think everything in the world needs to be sexualized. But I`m not particularly outraged by these photos, because one of the great things about "Glee" is that it blissfully straddles the line of family fun and adult entertainment. It is not a kid show.

So Jennifer, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, "Glee" girls gone wild in "GQ" - is there anything wrong with that?

JENNIFER ARMSTRONG, SENIOR WRITER, "ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY": You know, there are far worse things going on in the world. However, it feels a little disappointing for a show that has these wonderful lessons about, you know, being yourself and not having to do things to make other people like you, to have this sort of, not just sexualized, but kind of fetishized, very provocative photo shoot. That`s really not necessary.

HAMMER: The show is so sexual, though.

ANDERSON: They don`t need that crotch shot, A.J. Does everything have to be sexual?

HAMMER: There`s sex in the show. There`s teen pregnancy in the show.

(CROSS TALK)

ANDERSON: Well, you know, the Mickey Mouse club it ain`t. You`re right about that, A.J. But, come on, this photo spread was unnecessary for publicity of the show, for these individual actors.

And I think it`s just overdone. This sort of thing is kind of tired. But Ken, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think there`s anything wrong with this?

BAKER: Well, you know, as a parent myself, I wouldn`t say this is something that I was really excited to see personally. But I do have, you know, some issues with it on a professional level of people saying it shouldn`t happen. They shouldn`t do this kinked of thing.

Number one, people who are coming out and saying don`t - this is something that they should not do, they`re just playing into the publicity. This is what "GQ" wanted. This is what "Glee" wants - is controversy, people talking about it.

ANDERSON: Yes -

BAKER: So it just plays into - it`s just feeding that.

ANDERSON: "GQ" is aiming - these magazines and these photo spreads - at male adults. So I know that I am not the target audience here.

But you know, parents are furious today. The Parents Television Council is actually coming down very hard on "GQ" magazine. What are they saying, A.J.?

HAMMER: They did issue a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Basically, they`re slamming this photo spread, the PTC saying, "It is disturbing that `GQ,` which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on `Glee` in this way. It borders on pedophilia. Unfortunately, it seems `Glee` is only masquerading as a family show and is far from appropriate for young viewers."

I don`t think it is masquerading as anything, personally. And I can understand why we`d be having this outrage if it were Hannah Montana. But this is the fourth most watched show by adults. It`s pictures in magazines read by adults. The stars in the pictures are adults.

Jennifer, just because they`re posing in characters, the teens they play in the show, can they really call this pedophilia?

ARMSTRONG: You know, I don`t think it pedophilia, but they`re also not posing as the characters per se. You know, they`re going kind of above and beyond the characters here, really.

And that`s a whole different message that they`re kind of sending. It`s just kind of tacky, I think, and that`s what`s sort of disappointing, I think, to fans.

BAKER: Maybe it`s what the show would be if it was on HBO.

ANDERSON: Well, on HBO, but it not. And you know, "GQ" did respond to the PTC late today and issued this statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these kids are in their 20s. Cory Monteith is almost 30. I think they`re old enough to do what they want."

A.J., if anything good can come from all of this is that we`re talking about it. And as much as parents are craving more family-friendly entertainment, this is not "Mary Poppins." This is not "Mary Poppins."

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: I think a big fan of the show this season. All right. I do want to move on now to more big news breaking today. I can see bad dancing from my house. And, yes, Bristol survives again.

Bristol Palin surviving another day on "Dancing with the Stars." But 76- year-old Brady bunch mom Florence Henderson did not. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there on the set with Florence right after she got the boot. Take a look.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FLORENCE HENDERSON, ACTRESS: It`s kind of a strange feeling. I don`t think it will hit us until maybe next week.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Until next week, yes.

HENDERSON: You know, it`s just odd because I was planning on getting up and going to rehearsal tomorrow. But you know, somebody has to go. Unfortunately, it was us.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It was us this week.

HENDERSON: It was Corky and me. But you know, I know Corky`s relieved that his son made it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Listen, Florence is referring to Corky`s son, Mark Ballas, who is Bristol Palin`s dance partner. I`ve got to say I`m sad that Bristol - rather, that Florence didn`t make it. I think a lot of people are outraged that Bristol actually beat Mrs. Brady. I think that`s crazy.

Ken, do you think Bristol has a chance of winning this thing or is that just a nutty question to ask?

BAKER: I think it`s actually bananas that you asked that.

ANDERSON: Good one.

BAKER: No, but I do think this - I do think that she will be booted off within the next two weeks. You know, clearly, Jennifer Grey is the front- runner. Brandy also here - she could win as well. And Audrina could also win, but not Bristol.

But what was interesting about this is I think everyone should be happy for those who like to dress in gorilla costumes. You can live to see another day. The American public will accept you. It`s OK.

ANDERSON: I think people voted for her because she needs another week to maybe redeem herself after missing and forgetting some steps.

HAMMER: But it seems so goofy to me.

ANDERSON: It not even Halloween and she was in a gorilla suit. Well, while Bristol was dancing with a gorilla suit - in a gorilla suit, her mother Sarah faced off with a bear.

In a brand-new look at Sarah Palin`s upcoming TLC reality show, "Sarah Palin`s Alaska," Sarah came awfully close to an angry mama bear. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN (R-AK): I love watching these mama bears. What I see in that is what a mom would do, too, anything and everything laying down her life for her kids. Let`s get the fish before the bear gets the fish. Piper, don`t.

A bear is coming towards us. We`re going to back up. Look at the claws and (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Girls, back up.

S. PALIN: Yes. You know what? I`m looking around and Todd is going, "Are you feeling what I`m feeling?" It could think we are its lunch instead of a little tiny salmon. At all times, we`re snagged on a rock.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. I`ve got to say that`s pretty entertaining there. There`s something about coming face to face with nature. Jennifer, a lot of people wondered if Sarah Palin`s reality show would take off or not. What do you think? Is it going to be big hit or a big flop?

ARMSTRONG: OH, I think we proved in this entire segment that the Palins are just TV gold. You know, you can`t go wrong with a Palin on your television show these days, and with bears, too. I mean there is something really compelling about watching her and especially, you know, facing off with nature like this. I don`t know. I think it could make it.

ANDERSON: Yes, I love man versus - I love that show, "Man Versus Wild."

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Palin versus wild!

ANDERSON: Do you think it will be a big hit or a big flop?

BAKER: I think a lot of people are going to tune in. I know I will tune in. And you know, they talk about red state, blue state. There`s going to be a new term, goofball state. If anything comes out of this show, it will be that.

ANDERSON: Well, she can laugh at herself.

BAKER: OK. You know, we can, too.

ANDERSON: Jennifer Armstrong, Ken Baker, we`re going to leave it there for now. Thanks, guys.

HAMMER: Well, Sarah Palin might be mama grizzly, but Michael Lohan and Jon Gosselin - they don`t always live by that mantra. Today, Michael and Jon are vowing to do right by their kids.

Michael swears he`ll never mouth off about Lindsay again. Jon Gosselin says he`s a better man now. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask you, do you believe Michael and Jon?

David Arquette`s former fling speaks out. The woman who David slept with after his split from Courteney Cox admits today, on camera, how much she loves her newfound fame.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WALTZ: I like these cameras in my face. Who doesn`t? It`s attention, and I don`t think there`s many people out there that say, "I don`t want any attention."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. The stunning new confessions today from David Arquette`s former fling.

And this is really disturbing. SHOWBIZ caught on tape - a crazed Cameron Diaz fan goes ballistic trying to attack Cameron`s reported boyfriend, Yankees star, Alex Rodriguez - all of it caught on tape. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: T.I. dropped by Axe body spray after getting jail term for violating probation. Adriana Lima previews Victoria`s Secret $2 million bra.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in Hollywood with Brooke Anderson. And there is big news breaking today that makes it time to play everybody`s favorite game - "Do You Believe Him?"

ANDERSON: Like, do you believe Michael Lohan? Lindsay Lohan`s father is making a public plea today saying he`s swearing off speaking out publicly about his daughter Lindsay.

Yes, right. But wait. That`s not the only contestant in today`s round of "Do You Believe Him?"

HAMMER: "Do You Believe Him?"

ANDERSON: Jon Gosselin is also in the running today because he is now saying he`s so sorry and truly ashamed for his bad behavior. Come on.

HAMMER: Right now, in New York, is Megan Alexander, who is a correspondent with "Inside Edition." Also, in New York, Rob Shuter, who is a columnist for "PopEater.com."

So Michael sent this rambling, dramatic, over-the-top statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, absolutely insisting that he will not be talking anymore about Lindsay or his ex-wife, Dina.

Here`s what he sent us, "After all the things said and the incidents which have transpired, I realize that no matter how wrong or right I may have been, at the end of the day, I was wrong for offending my ex-wife and my children."

"The things have I said and do have cause hurt, pain and embarrassment. And no matter what accusations, lies or conjecture are disseminated to the public about me, for the sake of the ones I love, and the hope of creating peace, I will not respond in any way to what is said or done to me."

For the sake of those I offended, I apologize and ask forgiveness, so please refrain from calling or contacting me."

ANDERSON: Great job.

HAMMER: No problem. I won`t be calling. Megan, to you - Brooke and I have to ask, do you believe him?

ANDERSON: Do you believe him?

ALEXANDER: I want to so badly, guys. I think everyone wants to see Lindsay Lohan have a stable parent in her life, a parent who is really looking out for her best interest.

I`ve got to say I think the guy has a good heart. We`ve all interviewed him. He`s made the statement. Now, we`ll just have to see on Friday, when Lindsay`s back in court, if he, indeed, doesn`t talk.

ANDERSON: Yes. And you know, if anything happened before Michael sent us that E-mail, it turns out that Michael showed up at an event in Culver City, California for his friend, Kim, from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

When he`s asked what he`s been doing to make contact with Lindsay while she`s been in rehab, this is what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAEL LOHAN, FATHER OF LINDSAY LOHAN: Getting in trouble. Talking too much. Now, have I a gag order from my daughter saying, "Daddy, don`t say another word," and I`m not going to. But you know, it`s hard. I said to somebody last night - I said, "Look, if people are going to lie or say things about me or my family, I have to speak out. But when it comes to my daughter and her personal issues, it`s not for people to know."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right.

M. LOHAN: And I made the mistake before of saying some things I shouldn`t have said.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. I know he has good intentions as a father. I agree with Megan. I think he`s, you know, got a good heart. But really just hours before this rambling E-mail, he shows up on the red carpet and totally contradicts himself by really yapping nonstop.

Rob, do you believe him? Because it`s like, you know, just stop saying you`ll do it and just do it?

ROB SHUTER, COLUMNIST, "POPEATER.COM": I`m going to shock you and say, yes, I do believe him, and this is why. Michael has said this many times before. However, he just cannot help himself and he always puts his big foot in his mouth.

I got that E-mail this morning that you guys got. And all day, I`ve been baiting him. All day, I`ve been E-mailing him back, trying to get a response. Any other day of the week, I would have. I have not heard from Michael all day, which is a good sign.

ANDERSON: OK. Well, he`s (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Well, maybe he`s getting his oil changed in the car or something.

ANDERSON: You`re right. Maybe he was busy. All right. We`ve got to move now to the next contestant in our game of "Do You Believe Him."

HAMMER: "Do You Believe Him."

ANDERSON: It`s Jon Gosselin. He`s saying today he is downright ashamed of his behavior. A.J., do tell us about his latest.

HAMMER: Oh, I will, Brooke. I shall. Yes, it comes after Jon lost another try to keep his kids off of Kate`s TV show. It`s really just been one loss after another for Jon.

Take a look at what he just tweeted, "I am acutely aware of the mistakes I made in 2009 and I am ashamed of the choices I made. I have apologized to Kate, my family and to my friends. Through counseling, I have learned to own my actions. My goal is to move forward in a positive direction."

Megan, obviously, that would be a terrific thing if he moves in a positive direction, but do you believe him?

ALEXANDER: Well, again, because there`s kids involved here and his kids, I think - I`m hoping that he`s giving us an interesting insight, A.J., into something that I wonder if we won`t see more of, and that is the effect that reality TV does indeed have on families and kids, you know, as the years progress.

I wonder if he`s had time to reflect and wonder, you know, about the effect of his kids being on this show. But then, you know, the skeptics are saying, well, he`s not on TV anymore. He`s doesn`t have a job right now, so is this the best that he can do to stay in the news?

Again, I want to believe him. I guess I`m a little more skeptic, though.

HAMMER: Yes. I stand that. And I think we`re all skeptical -

ANDERSON: Yes.

HAMMER: Because, again, we`ve heard this all before from everybody. Got to leave it there. Megan Alexander, Rob Shuter, thank you both.

ANDERSON: OK. Jon and Michael may be zipping it or trying to, but David Arquette`s former fling is speaking out today. Remember David`s sex-and- tell confessions to Howard Stern? David was talking about the woman he slept with after his split from Courteney Cox.

Well, today that woman reveals how much she loves her newfound fame.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WALTZ: I like these cameras in my face. Who doesn`t? It`s attention, and I don`t think there`s many people out there that say, "I don`t want any attention."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Stunning new confessions today from David Arquette`s former fling.

HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Gwyneth Paltrow to make country singing debut next month at Country Music Awards. "Jersey Shore`s" J-Woww to shut down clothing line because of trademark issues.

HAMMER: Time now for Hollywood at home where we get the stars to reveal how they balance their busy careers and their home life.

And today, it`s the great actor Michael C. Hall. Michael, of course, is the star of Showtime`s "Dexter." He plays a crime solving serial killer on the show. And he`s married to his "Dexter" co-star, Jennifer Carpenter. Working and living together can be killer, but Michael tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it`s all about having boundaries.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAEL C. HALL, ACTOR: There is a period of the year where we`re working and that`s the one routine and a period where we`re not and that`s the home routine. But, I don`t know, we - thankfully, we really enjoy working with one another.

We talk about the workday and talk about scenes coming up or whatever. But you know, it`s not like we`re at home going live all the time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Michael C. Hall was diagnosed with Hodgkin`s lymphoma last year, but he says it`s now in remission. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Crazed Cameron Diaz fan shocker. You`re looking at frantic moments caught on tape right after a man with a crush on Diaz rushed on to the baseball field. This is during Monday night`s game three of the American championship series.

Now, he was gunning for New York Yankees slugger, Alex Rodriguez, reportedly to choke A-Rod and become a hero in the eyes of his celebrity obsession, Cameron Diaz. Cam is reportedly dating Alex. And get this - the man`s pockets were reportedly filled with pictures of Whitney Houston, her ex, Bobby Brown and, among others, Osama Bin Laden. Wow.

Now, this I just find really strange. David Arquette`s former fling admits she loves her newfound fame. Yes. Her name is Jasmine Waltz. She`s the woman who David Arquette said that he slept with after his split from Courteney Cox.

And she`s speaking out today in a brand-new interview about her newfound infamy. David Arquette mentioned Jasmine during his sex-and-tell confession on Howard Stern`s Sirius Satellite radio show. That was just after his split from his wife, Courteney, went public.

But Jasmine just got the full star treatment at a new L.A. hotspot, paparazzi and all. Jasmine might not be the first to use a Hollywood hookup as a one-way ticket to fame, but she`s the first can I remember to admit it on camera.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WALTZ: I like these cameras in my face. Who doesn`t? It`s attention, and I don`t think there`s many people out there that say, "I don`t want any attention." I want to have fun with things and I don`t want things to be so serious and so, like, you know, drama-filled. Life`s not like that. You just have to wake up with a smile on your face and be grateful for everything you have.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jasmine is also dishing on what qualities she looks for in a man. Look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WALTZ: Sense of humor, number one. Definitely a sense of humor. I love goof balls. So if you can, like, intrigue me with your humor and your intelligence, then, I mean, that`s huge. And then, other than that, I think just being super chill and down to earth.

I mean, I don`t like guys that spend too much time taking care of themselves, kind of just very - just dudes. I like, like a dude, you know what I mean? Like a guy that`s just sort of easy going and not too, like, caught up in - I don`t know, you know, just normal. Just a normal dude.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Well, I guess Ryan Seacrest and Paris Hilton`s ex, Doug Reinhardt, would be considered normal dudes to Jasmine because she`s reportedly dated them.

ANDERSON: She doesn`t know a normal dude. OK. Tuesday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. Just moments ago, we got the final results. "Kim Kardashian`s Birthday Week: Would you pay $2,500 to party with her?"

Only six percent of you would. Ninety-four percent of you would not. This E-mail kind of sums up how a lot of people feel.

Callie from Colorado, "Pay $2,500 to attend Kim Kardashian`s birthday party? As if!"

HAMMER: I`ve got to tell you something. I`m a little disappointed that I`m out here in L.A. because this party is on Thursday night. And if I were back in New York, I`d pay $2,500.

ANDERSON: Yes.

HAMMER: Not. That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in Hollywood with Brooke Anderson.

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.

HAMMER: And we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on HLN.
