A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: There`s big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - the Ricky-Barbara showdown. Ricky Martin and Barbara Walters together on live TV today for the very first time since Barbara asked him to reveal if he was gay.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Miley`s kiss controversy, caught on tape. The outrage today over 17-year-old Miley Cyrus making out with a 26-year-old guy.

HAMMER: Portia`s pain over anorexia. Portia De Rossi`s emotional new confessions today to her wife, Ellen DeGeneres, right on Ellen`s show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PORTIA DE ROSSI, WIFE OF ELLEN DEGENERES: I don`t think anyone can really stand what it`s like to suffer from an eating disorder unless they`ve actually gone through it themselves.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Heidi and Spencer`s mind-boggling multimillion dollar mess. Did they really blow $10 million on themselves? Are they really broke and homeless?

HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show -

ANDERSON: Starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - too skinny for words.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. That is the only way to describe Portia De Rossi`s jaw-dropping revelations to her wife on her wife`s TV show. Her wife, of course, is Ellen DeGeneres.

And today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got the very first look of Portia`s incredible revelations to Ellen telling all in remarkable, emotional and painful detail about her battle with eating disorders that, at one time, had her down to 82 pounds.

And to hear her reveal this to Ellen with such raw and real emotion is something we won`t soon forget. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with Portia and her painful past.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

DE ROSSI: I don`t think anyone can really understand what it`s like to suffer from an eating disorder unless they`ve actually gone through it themselves.

HAMMER: Speaking out about her long battle with eating disorders, actress Portia De Rossi definitely chose friendly territory, namely, her wife`s talk show.

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": I have to say - of course, you know, I`m biased because I love you and I think you`re brilliant and amazing.

HAMMER: In clips SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today from Thursday`s "Ellen DeGeneres Show," Portia shares her shocking story with Ellen, whom Portia has been with for six years.

Now, the author of a new book, "Unbearable Lightness," Portia explains why she`s now talking about a weight obsession that, at one point, whittled her down to almost 80 pounds.

DE ROSSI: I wanted to go back to that dark, horrible time and explain why I thought I was doing the right thing, why I thought I was doing the healthy thing and making good choices for my life.

HAMMER: And she reveals how her relationship with Ellen helped to make her the healthy person she is today.

DE ROSSI: I don`t think that I`m perfect at all.

DEGENERES: I do.

DE ROSSI: Oh, come on.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT also obtained today the upcoming new issue of "People" magazine which has excerpts from Portia`s new book.

SUZANNE ZUCKERMAN, "PEOPLE" MAGAZINE: Portia was really open and incredibly honest about her harrowing struggle with anorexia, bulimia -

DE ROSSI: The toothpaste, Aim, is really strong. Does your tongue tingle?

HAMMER: Portia`s struggle intensified in 1998 when she was cast in her breakout role on the hit TV show "Ally McBeal. This was years before she met Ellen DeGeneres. And at the time, no one knew she was gay.

ZUCKERMAN: She felt the need to sort of transform herself into this image of a person that she thought everybody wanted her to be. That included thin, straight and sexy. She refers to swallowing up to 20 laxatives a day. She even goes into shocking specifics about, you know, binging and purging.

HAMMER: Portia writes the night after her first day on Ally McBeal she had a huge celebratory dinner. She writes, quote, "Of course I`d have to throw up after but that was OK. I didn`t have work for the next two days so I had time to get rid of the dots above my eyes that were caused by my blood vessels bursting from purging.

ZUCKERMAN: At one point, she lowered her calorie intake to 300 calories a day and got as thin as 82 pounds.

DEGENERES: When I read this book and I read that the self-loathing and how much she hated herself -

HAMMER: In this clip from Thursday`s "Ellen DeGeneres Show" SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today, Ellen says reading about the extent of Portia`s struggles was a real eye-opener.

DEGENERES: I was shocked and it broke my heart. I had no idea how much she hated herself and I just can only imagine.

HAMMER: Portia explains that, at the time, people close to her expressed concern, but she didn`t listen.

DE ROSSI: "You`re too thin" to me was more of a compliment than just "You`re thin." You`re too thin? Who can be too thin?

HAMMER: Pleas from her family finally led Portia to get help in 2001. And by the time she got together with Ellen in 2004, Portia was a much- healthier 168 pounds. She tells Ellen that relationship has changed her life.

DE ROSSI: She`s taught me that who I am is perfectly good enough and that I don`t have to pretend to be anything other than who I am.

ZUCKERMAN: Ellen sort of recognized the person within and that really enabled Portia to further accept herself.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Wow. I`m thinking Portia, by sharing her private pain, she could help so many people who are struggling with eating disorders.

Right now in New York, Sandra Bernhard, who is an actress and comedienne. Sandra is starring in "Martin Lawrence Presents: First Amendment Standup." It airs this Friday on Starz. Check it out.

With me right now, in Hollywood, Sheryl Lee Ralph, who is an actress, producer and AIDS activist.

OK, ladies. I want to watch what else Portia revealed to Ellen in her interview about how she`s feeling today about her body. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DE ROSSI: I mean, I really do accept myself from head to toe. It`s like I`ve realized, it`s taken me a long time, but you can`t fit a size eight foot into a size six shoe. It`s just not going to happen. So when I look in the mirror now, I realize that this is what I`m supposed to be.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Sheryl Lee, you`re an actress. You know the drill out here in Hollywood. It seems like a lot of actresses and actors, for that matter, are on some sort of a diet, worried about their weight. There is a pressure that you cannot deny.

SARAH LEE RALPH, ACTRESS: Absolutely. Thin is in, but in her case, thin can kill you. But all of us know - look at you. You are a small, tiny woman. I`m a size eight and sometimes the camera makes me look like a hippopotamus. So we all are always striving to be as slim and as thin as we possibly can.

ANDERSON: But you`re right. In her case, thin could have killed. Eighty- two pounds -

RALPH: Eighty-two pounds -

ANDERSON: Is not a healthy weight by any stretch.

RALPH: But can you imagine what must have been going on in her head that made her make the choice to stop eating? And that kind of pressure happens to so many young women across this country.

ANDERSON: Yes.

RALPH: I`ve seen it in my own child say, "I`m just too fat." "Darling, you`re also 6 feet and you`re a size 6."

ANDERSON: Accept yourself.

RALPH: Accept it.

ANDERSON: Accept yourself as you are for the beauty that you have within as well.

RALPH: That`s right.

ANDERSON: And Sandra, I want to go to you now. Were you shocked to hear that Portia struggled with eating disorders for so long, going back as far as her days on Ally McBeal? You know, she was pretty darn thin on that show as were the other actresses.

SARAH BERNHARD, ACTRESS AND COMEDIENNE: Well, you know, I think when you`re surrounded with other people who are, you know, constantly obsessing about eating, I guess it kind of spills over, too.

You know, for me, I guess I`m lucky because I`ve been mainly a live performer in my career and I`ve kind of called the shots about how I feel about my body. And you know, I`ve never felt the need to like conform to anything, obviously, I mean, you know, from not getting my nose done to, you know, just being, you know, comfortable in my own skin.

And I think - I mean, really, it`s really important in our culture to teach women that who they are is, you know, perfectly fine. And it`s about - it is about healthy choices and it`s about eating right, exercising and, you know, just finding your way through life in a really healthy and smart way and a conscious way.

RALPH: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Yes, Sandra`s you`ve always been so candid about the way -

(CROSS TALK)

Yes, and Sandra has always been so candid about the way she`s lived her life. And obviously, it`s terrific, I think, that Portia was able to be so candid as well. It`s inspiring hearing somebody who was so low be able to turn their life around.

But I do have to move on now to another star whose low moments may actually turn into a ratings bonanza. Get this - this is crazy to me. On the same day that Charlie Sheen filed for divorce from his wife Brooke Mueller, his hit TV show, "Two and a Half Men" scored more than 13 million viewers. That was a seven percent jump from the rate before.

Sheryl Lee, does this just prove that old cliche, "Any publicity is good publicity?"

RALPH: Absolutely. Did they spell his name right? Any publicity is good. I mean, my God, America - we love a train wreck. And the more intense the train wreck is, we want to tune in and we want to see it. Oh, what is it saying about us as a people, more so Charlie?

HAMMER: Yes. Well, Sandra, I`ve got to ask you because you`ve certainly seen a lot of celebrity train wrecks and other people through your incredible career. What is it that they (UNINTELLIGIBLE)?

BERNHARD: I`ve been on the train with them when they wrecked and, fortunately, I was able to jump off as quickly as possible. Are you kidding me?

HAMMER: What would it take to kill his career after all he`s been through? I don`t think it can happen.

BERNHARD: Well, you know, I think people love that show. And you know, I think Sheryl Lee said it. People are just fascinated in this country by people who are constantly losing it, you know.

And it kind of makes them feel better about their own lives, because everybody is in sort of a precarious, you know, situation right now, politically and emotionally and financially.

HAMMER: Yes.

BERNHARD: So I think it`s a good escape for all of them.

HAMMER: I think of the number of times we`ve mentioned "Two and a Half Men" right here on the show and, hey, people are going to say, "Hey, what`s that about?" Sandra Bernhard, Sheryl Lee Ralph, thanks, guys

ANDERSON: All right. The Ricky Martin-Barbara Walters show down, Ricky and Barbara battling it out on live TV today for the first time since Barbara asked him to reveal if he was gay.

HAMMER: Miley Cyrus`s parents` shocking love triangle? What`s going on here? There are unbelievable new reports today that Miley`s mom, Tish, cheated on hubby, Billy Ray, with Bret Michaels.

ANDERSON: And bikers do Bieber. Check this out. They`re big. They`re bad but they love their Bieb.

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: underneath all those metal studs, there`s a soft side. I`m going to let you know why the heck these guys are dancing to Justin Bieber. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Child services monitoring "Teen Mom" star Amber for six months after assaulting ex. Justin Bieber teaches Ellen DeGeneres how to "Dougie."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUSTIN BIEBER, POP STAR: This way and then this way.

DEGENERES: Move like your head with it.

BIEBER: Yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Demi Lovato`s father tells "Radar Online" fame is to blame for his 18-year-old Disney star daughter checking into a treatment center. Demi left a big tour with the Jonas Brothers to deal with, quote, "emotional and physical issues."

The results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll just in late today and people agree with Demi`s dad - "Teen Star Demi Lovato in Treatment: Is fame to blame?" Look at this - 71 percent of you say yes; 29 percent say no.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: And A.J., the situation must have been serious for Demi Lovato to take this break from her very busy career. I think it is wonderful that she is taking this time to get help.

All right. Now, a SHOWBIZ special report - born famous, star kids with famous parents like Will Smith`s kids, also Madonna`s daughter, Lourdes. They`ve got huge careers already. So could they become bigger stars than their parents? Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(MUSIC)

KAREEN WYNTER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): From Will and Jada Pinkett Smith`s daughter, Willow, to their movie star son Jaden, to Madonna`s designing daughter, Lourdes, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you children of stars are stepping out of the shadows of their uber-famous parents more than ever and creating hot spotlights of their own.

Nine-year-old willow`s very first song, "Whip my Hair" whipped up a frenzy online with more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Willow`s 12-year-old brother, Jaden, flexed his movie-making muscle into a blockbuster remake of "The Karate Kid," a film that earned an incredible $360 million worldwide.

And Madonna`s daughter, Lourdes, bypassed the big screen went straight for the runway with her own fashion line inspired by none other than her megastar mom.

LOURDES LEON, MADONNA`S DAUGHTER: It`s like about her and like her style of the `80s, which is amazing. I mean, we both have very strong opinions about what we like and what we dislike.

MADONNA, POP STAR: What a shocker.

LEON: I mean, that`s how she raised me.

WYNTER: The real shock is how many of Hollywood`s new generation of stars come with a celebrity pedigree. "Us Weekly`s" Dina Sansing tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, there`s no better way to prepare for stardom than growing up with famous parents.

DINA SANSING, "US WEEKLY": For these young children getting into the business, they really have the best kind of supervisors, their parents, who understand it way more than a parent who isn`t in the business.

It`s natural that these kids, even at a young age, want to get into the business themselves.

WYNTER: Natural, and in some ways, unavoidable. Comedienne and TV host Daphne Brogdon tells us the obsession with the children of stars also plays a part in pushing kids into show business.

DAPHNE BROGDON, COMEDIAN AND TV HOST: I think that fetish fascination with celebrity kids is why they get a start so young in their celebrity careers. They can`t even wait until to get through adolescence.

WYNTER: Jennifer Lopez has seen that fascination firsthand. She and hubby Marc Anthony work hard to keep their kids, Max and Emmy, out of the spotlight. Still, Lopez was willing to bend the rules for a charity photo shoot with her kids.

SANSING: Most recently, we saw J. Lo`s twins, just two-and-a-half years old, modeling for Gucci. This is a situation that she saw an opportunity. The proceeds went to charity. She thought it was a good time for them to have beautiful pictures of them.

WYNTER (on camera): As celebrity kids look for a good time to make their moves, they can learn from past stars like Michael Douglas whose careers were so successful their famous roots are practically just a footnote.

(voice-over) Douglas cashed in big time on "Wall Street" and in Hollywood with an incredible 40-year career that includes two Oscars. There is little doubt he caught the acting bug from his dad, big screen legend, Kirk Douglas.

Academy award winner Angelina Jolie rocks Hollywood`s red carpet and despite her rocky relationship with her dad, actor Jon Voight, he may get some credit for giving her a jumpstart.

Like Angelina, Sophia Coppola can thank her famous dad for her start in showbiz. Coppola is the daughter of "Godfather" director, Francis Ford Coppola. But now, Sophia is an Oscar-winning screenwriter who`s made Hollywood history of her own.

Only time will tell whether the new generation of celebrity kids will make history, too. But it`s safe to say they`re off to a pretty good start.

(MUSIC)

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: That`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. And Willow Smith recently signed a deal with Jay-Z`s Rock Nation label. Her album is scheduled to drop next year. Maybe she`ll do a duet with her dad, Will.

HAMMER: You never know. Well, Miley Cyrus was certainly born famous. Her dad is, of course, singer Billy Ray Cyrus. There are shocking reports today that Billy Ray`s soon-to-be ex, Miley`s mom, had an affair with Bret Michaels. So we`ve got to check that out.

Also, the Miley kiss controversy caught on tape.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The next couple safe is Bristol and Mark.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Bristol Palin`s shocking survival of yet another round on "Dancing with the Stars." Well, guess what? Today, some of the fans of the show are asking why Bristol is still standing.

I`ve got to give Bristol some credit. She keeps making it despite the fact that she really no dance or entertainment background. But it is amazing to see just how many people are simply outraged over Bristol surviving. They`re suggesting this competition is nothing more than a popularity contest.

Right now, from Hollywood, Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

Rachel, I think that people have the right to be upset if they think the better dancers are getting the boot instead of her. It`s kind of like, you know, when the clearly better singer on "American Idol "gets beat out by the more popular, less-talented singer.

But when the contest is in the hands of the public, the viewers also have to accept that it`s going to be a popularity contest, don`t they?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Absolutely. I mean, Bristol - OK. She has more Teflon than Charlie Sheen at this point. But this show is not necessarily about who is the best dancer. It`s who`s the most likable. Who`s the most popular.

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: Kelly Osbourne, Emmitt Smith - these were all people - they weren`t the best dancers. But they got really far in the competition. And I think there`s two things. There`s the Palin phenomenon.

This country is embracing them. It showed in the elections on the national scale and in this reality show. And Bristol is actually really likable. She is showing up. She has a great attitude and she`s really not that bad of a dancer.

HAMMER: You said elections and reality show in the same sentence, Rachel. You`re freaking me out.

ZALIS: I know. Don`t you love it?

HAMMER: Listen. Let me read some of the outrage that`s bubbling over today on "People.com`s" Web site. Anne Marie S. wrote this on the "People.com" blog, "I am a huge Sarah Palin fan but this is a dancing competition. I will not vote for Bristol because she`s not up to the caliber of the other performers."

Rachel, given the outrage about Bristol surviving another week on the show, do you think she`s going to walk away with this whole thing?

ZALIS: I think she might go to the finals. I mean, Kurt Warner not that good. I don`t see anybody up in arms about him. So people are taking this just a little too seriously. It`s a dance show after all.

HAMMER: But that`s America. We take our reality programming very, very seriously.

ZALIS: That is true.

HAMMER: Rachel Zalis, I thank you.

ANDERSON: All right. And now, the SHOWBIZ lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

The Ricky-Barbara show down. Ricky Martin, Barbara Walters on live TV today. It`s the first time since Barbara asked him to reveal if he was gay.

The startling Cyrus love triangle today. The shocking reports that Miley`s mom cheated on her dad with Bret Michaels. We`ll get to the bottom of that one.

And Fergie`s shocking new drug and alcohol admission today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Let us roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Bethenny Frankel, Motley Crue`s Vince Neil to compete on "Skating with the Stars." Sequel to Rihanna and Eminem`s "Love the Way You Lie" is leaked online.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - a Cyrus love triangle? Stunning allegations Miley`s mom cheated on dad, Billy Ray, with Bret Michaels.

Plus, stunning outrage over Miley doing this -

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Seventeen-year-old Miley locking lips with a 26-year-old man. Is this no big deal or just plain wrong?

ANDERSON: And the Ricky-Barbara showdown. Ricky Martin, Barbara Walters on live TV today for the very first time since Barbara asked him to reveal if he was gay.

HAMMER: Justin Bieber`s brand new fan base - bikers in leather.

(MUSIC)

So why are these big, burly dudes busting a move to Bieber`s "Baby"?

Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," new music from Britney Spears, and Snooki goes nuts, literally.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Ricky`s redemption. Ricky Martin faces Barbara Walters today 10 years after she tried to pressure him on national TV into revealing he was gay.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You could stop these rumors. You could say, as many artists have, "Yes, I am gay." Or you could say, "No, I`m not."

RICKY MARTIN, SINGER: For some reason, I just don`t feel like it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Today, on "The View," Ricky and Barbara in the interview rematch that has been a decade in the making. And Ricky`s revelations about what he would have done differently if he could turn back time.

Right now, in New York, is Sandra Bernhard. She`s an actress and comedienne. And she`s starring in the great series on the Starz cable channel called "Martin Lawrence Presents: First Amendment Standup." It`s on this Friday night.

And in Hollywood is Sheryl Lee Ralph. She`s an award-winning actress who starred in "Dream Girls" on Broadway and the beloved mom on the hit TV show, "Moesha." Sheryl Lee is also a producer and AIDS activist.

Ladies, great to see you. And I want to tell you Barbara Walters has since apologized for that now-infamous interview in 2000 when she pressed Ricky about his sexuality.

Well, on "The View" today, HLN`s Joy Behar got Ricky to reveal why he did not answer that day and his emotional words for Barbara today. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You had years to struggle with this particular - your identity, et cetera. Wasn`t it - it was difficult. Tell everyone why it`s so difficult to come out.

MARTIN: It`s so sad today we`re still dealing with the fact that sexuality (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It`s still a taboo for so many cultures. And if I knew how good it was going to feel, I would have answered yes 10 years ago.

WALTERS: We talked a little earlier and decided that the two of us - and we`re OK.

MARTIN: Oh, my goodness. We`re OK. We`re OK.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. Ricky`s OK. Barbara`s OK. Sheryl Lee, are you OK with how all this drama played out between the two of them?

RALPH: No, it made me a little bit uncomfortable. And I was like, "Oh, Barbara." His body language wasn`t as open as her body language was. It seemed to me that he was still holding back.

But more than that, 10 years ago, he just wasn`t ready. And look, it took Barbara 30 years to tell people, "I love black men and I sleep with them, too." Remember how she came out and said she slept with that very respected politician?

ANDERSON: Right.

RALPH: Had she come out sooner, she could have had Barack in office much sooner than that. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) Barbara.

ANDERSON: You make a good point because Ricky was obviously in a protective stance.

RALPH: Thank you.

ANDERSON: His body language was very clear about that.

RALPH: With age comes wisdom.

ANDERSON: That`s true. Great point. And Sandra, I`m thinking that Ricky may have harbored some resentment all these years for the way that Barbara pressed him? Are you all good now with how this played out.

BERNHARD: How is that possible? How could anybody resent Barbara Walters? I think it`s a really good time for people to come out right now, too. For a lot of people, it`s just - you know, their careers ebb and flow and it kind of gives you a little kick to come out and be gay now.

ANDERSON: Yes. And he obviously feels much better after making these revelations and good for him that he`s in a better place in his life.

RALPH: It was the way he said it. It was the way he looked it, the way he looked in the camera and said, "This is who I am and my God does not make mistakes."

ANDERSON: He was being very honest (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

RALPH: Yes.

ANDERSON: All right. I`ve got to move now to another star confession today. Listen to this - in a brand-new interview tonight on ABC, LeAnn Rimes reveals she`s got no regrets about her affair with Eddie Cibrian, no regrets for busting up two marriages, hers and Eddie`s, saying she`s only human.

"It happens every day to so many people. And if I take away my album sales and you just have another couple, had you two couples whose marriages didn`t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."

Well, just stumbled upon one another, I might add, while making a sexy TV movie together. Eddie was married with two kids. Sheryl Lee, is this just outrageous to you? No apology.

RALPH: People just have no shame anymore. My god, like you just said, not one, but two marriages. Leann needs to get some children of her own before she start trying to rip the skin off of her body with divorce because two people really get hurt, the mother and the children.

ANDERSON: Yes. Yes.

RALPH: And the time she spends with those children, they`re going to be hating her.

ANDERSON: You`re right on the money with that. And Sandra, don`t you just hate it when it happens? You just stumble into love, just stumble into one another in bed.

BERNHARD: Huh? What? What are you talking about? You`re totally freaking me out. I don`t know what you`re talking about. Stumbling into bed with who?

ANDERSON: Well, Eddie Cibrian, obviously.

BERNHARD: Oh, oh. I don`t know about stumbling into bed with people. I usually, like, have a couple dinners first, but that`s just me.

ANDERSON: OK. You`re not buying it. All right. There`s another marriage meltdown in Hollywood today involving Miley Cyrus` parents.

Just days after her dad, Billy Ray, and her mother shocked everybody by announcing they are divorcing after 17 years, there are jaw-dropping reports Miley`s mom, Tish, had an affair with Bret Michaels. Say it isn`t so.

HAMMER: Well, it`s just crazy when you hear stuff like this and it makes you wonder what`s happening to our planet. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that Bret is slamming the reports that this is going on or that this ever happened.

Here`s what his rep tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, "The reports of Bret having an affair with Tish are completely unfounded and a complete fabrication."

So all right. Bret is speaking out saying it didn`t happen. Now, here`s the thing. As of show time, we haven`t heard anything from Miley`s mother.

Sheryl, what do you think? Should Mama Cyrus speak out? Personally, I think if she does, if it`s not true, it`s only going to add fuel to the fire here.

RALPH: Let me tell you, her mother is doing the absolute right thing. This is going to be a big divorce. Mama keep it shut, that`s right until the last check is signed.

HAMMER: You know, Sandra, you know something about spin control. What do you think? Is it best, particularly if this didn`t happen, just don`t say anything as far as what Miley`s mom should be doing?

BERNHARD: When it comes to Miley Cyrus, you`re going to spin like a top. That`s all I can say on that. You just got to keep spinning in a pair of leather hot pants and run for your life.

HAMMER: OK. I`m going to write that one down, Sandra. Thank you.

(CROSS TALK)

Sheryl, I`ve got to imagine Miley`s world has to be completely torn apart. You know, she has her parents` marriage melting down and it`s playing out in public. And look, no matter what your situation, divorce is not easy. When it`s going on like this and there are rumors floating around, that`s tough.

RALPH: You know something? Like I tell you, two people - two groups of people always get hurt. The mothers, no matter how rich they are, always end up poorer. And the children through divorce are always and forever changed.

But if Miley Cyrus were to turn around and turn into Lindsay Lohan, America would love it. Oh, they`d be tuning into everything. They love a good meltdown. I hope that doesn`t happen.

HAMMER: I`m going to strike that from the record.

BERNHARD: I just want to say when parents get over-involved and push their kids into show business and start managing them and, you know, trying to like ride their coattails, it`s not good for the kids, OK?

And I don`t think any kid should get into show business to begin with. That`s my opinion, especially kids of famous people. Let your kid grow up. When they hit 18, if they want to pursue a career in acting or performing, that`s their decision. Do not push your children into show business, celebrity parents.

HAMMER: You make a great point. Parents riding the coattails of the kids - something`s not right with the universe when that`s going on.

BERNHARD: The dad, like, his career was tanking. So of course, oh, Miley, whoo! Jump on the show with her. I mean, the whole thing is sick.

HAMMER: I do want to move to what`s happening with Miley now from her parents not feeling the love. There`s outrage over Miley getting a little too much love from a much older man today - 17-year-old Miley making out with a 26-year-old. It`s all caught on tape.

(MUSIC)

Is Miley`s steamy video kiss inappropriate? Sandra Bernhard, Sheryl Lee Ralph -

BERNHARD: It was caught on tape.

HAMMER: Don`t move. The great debate is coming up in just moments. You`ll want to hear what we have to say.

ANDERSON: OK. Heidi and Spencer broke and homeless? I don`t know what`s more shocking, that Heidi and Spencer actually made $10 million or that they`ve reportedly already blown all of it? And yes, Heidi`s 10 plastic surgeries are part of the reason.

HAMMER: The George W. Bush-Kanye West showdown today. You remember when Kanye said the president didn`t care about black people during the whole Hurricane Katrina mess in 2005? Well, W has some explosive new words for Kanye today.

ANDERSON: And did you see this? Bikers go nuts for Justin Bieber.

Why are these big, burly bikers busting a move to Bieber`s "Baby"? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

ANDERSON: Seventeen-year-old Miley Cyrus is stirring up controversy once again. This time, it`s over a steamy kiss with a 26-year-old actor and it`s all caught on tape.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.

HAMMER: Today, it`s Miley`s kissing controversy. Miley Cyrus starring in a brand new music video for Rock Mafia`s song, "The Big Bang." She`s not singing or dancing in this video. She`s making out with a 26-year-old guy.

And that kiss has some people fuming saying, you know what? Miley is just 17. She should not be locking lips with a guy that much older. That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - was it wrong for Miley to kiss a 26-year- old in a music video?

Right now, in Hollywood is Kristin Cruz, morning radio co-host of "Mark and Kristin Show" on KOST Los Angeles. Also, in Hollywood, it`s Rachel Zalis who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

Look, Miley keeps on pushing the envelope with her risque outfits and her racy dance moves. But today, it is this kiss that`s raising lots of high brows. Take a look.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: OK. I get why people are upset. I understand how the world works. But please, let us not forget she`s almost 18 and this is an art form, not unlike a movie. Rachel, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, what do you think? Was it wrong for Miley to kiss a 26-year-old in the music video?

ZALIS: I am so offended, A.J. It should be me in that video instead of Miley. It`s all wrong. No, seriously, come on. She`s playing a part. This girl is growing up. She`s been screaming from the rooftops and stripper poles that she is not a tween anymore. So people should get over it and accept that she`s making this transition.

HAMMER: But people are really upset, Kristin. What do you think? Wrong for Miley to be kissing this 26-year-old in a music video?

KRISTIN CRUZ, CO-HOST, "MARK AND KRISTIN SHOW": It is wrong because she`s not grown up yet. She`s 17. And where are her parents? Well, we know now. But I used to produce music videos like this. And when I became a mom, it flipped on a dime. I see a little girl in that video being kissed by a grown man (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Actors do it all the time in the movies. It happens all the time. Why is this different? I don`t get that.

CRUZ: This is playing on a station that is playing the teenagers and kids who are watching music videos - we know that has influence on them, this isn`t the right message to send.

ZALIS: It`s entertainment. It`s not about a message.

ANDERSON: All right. We`ve got to move now from that debate to another story making big news, ladies. It`s about Heidi and Spencer`s mind boggling multi-million dollar mess.

Today, "Life and Style Weekly" is reporting that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have blown through $10 million. Now, they say they may file for bankruptcy and that they`re forced to live with Spencer`s parents. So where did their money go, you ask? $35,000 a month on their Malibu rental. $3 million on Heidi`s disastrous music career. Spencer spent $200,000 on healing crystals and who knows how much Heidi spent on plastic surgeries.

So Rachel, I`m shocked that they had made $10 million. Are you feeling badly for them?

ZALIS: I mean, when they sat down and talked about all of the $10 million they`ve blown, I can think of two reasons where the money went. But I mean, the funny thing about this interview was they actually blame the "Jersey Shore" for the lack of their popularity.

ANDERSON: Right.

ZALIS: So they want to get those bodyguards.

(CROSS TALK)

But they`re totally angling for a new reality show, them slumming it in his parents` guest house. She has no housekeeper, the dogs don`t have their fancy food. Poor Speidi.

ANDERSON: Poor Speidi. Kristin, do you think that Spencer and Heidi should call Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino for help to maybe revive their career?

CRUZ: You know things are bad when you`re asking Snooki and The Situation for a loan. But I agree with Rachel. I think they`re vying for a new show. Why not call it "The Bills."

HAMMER: All right. I do want to move on to more big news breaking today. Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas opens up about her recovery from crystal meth addiction. Randy and Evi Quaid skip another court date. And Susan Boyle gets ready for a date with a prince. It`s all in "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Susan Boyle meets the royals. Britain`s Cinderella singing sensation has just scored a date with her prince. She`ll be performing for Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, at a British awards ceremony next week.

Susan, who has already sung for the pope, will be singing her version of Lou Reed`s "Perfect Date" for the prince. Boyle`s calling her big Royal performance "a real privilege."

Quaids AWOL again. Randy and Evi Quaid who are claiming they are running for their lives for what they call "star whackers" have just skipped another date with the law. The fugitive celebrity couple was supposed to show up in a California court yesterday on vandalism charges, but they`re still holed up in Canada.

Their attorney told the California judge the pair needs to stay in Canada until Randy can appear there for an immigration hearing.

Fergie`s shocking admission. In a brand-new interview, the Black Eyed Peas singer is making the surprising revelation that, yes, she`s in recovery for crystal meth addiction. But that doesn`t mean she`s not drinking.

She tells "Glamour" magazine, quote, "I`m not claiming to be sober. I think that would be misleading. I drink alcohol. My father has a vineyard. Anyway, for most addicts, they would advise to never have any sort of substance. I just have my own journey.

ANDERSON: Hey, did you see this? Justin Bieber has a whole new fan base - big hairy bikers.

Why are these burly bikers getting down to Bieber`s "Baby?" This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: It`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: New Britney Spears album expected to be released in 2011. Katy Perry tells "Harper`s Bazaar" husband Russell Brand is a "great man of God."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Former President George W. Bush is taking on Kanye West today for the way Kanye slammed him during the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

Back in 2005, Kanye triggered outraged when he said this about the president during a star-studded telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MICHAEL MYERS, ACTOR: The destruction of the spirit of the people of southern Louisiana and Mississippi may end up being the most tragic loss of all.

KANYE WEST, SINGER: George Bush doesn`t care about black people.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, at the time, a lot of people felt President Bush was slow to respond to the disaster. In a brand-new interview today with NBC`s Matt Lauer, Bush reveals how Kanye`s remarks made him just furious.

President Bush said this, quote, "It`s one thing to say, `I don`t appreciate the way he`s handled his business.` It`s another thing to say, `This man`s a racist.` I resent it. It`s not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency."

HAMMER: Well, late today, Kanye apologized, sort of. In an interview with Houston radio station, 97.9, Kanye compared what he said about Bush to how he was called a racist after the Taylor Swift nightmare.

This is Kanye speaking here, "For both situations, it was basically a lack of compassion that America felt in that situation. I think we`re all quick to pull a race card in America. And now, I`m more open, and the poetic justice that feel to have went through the same thing that he went through and now I really more connect with him on just a humanitarian level."

ANDERSON: All right. Moving to this now. Big burly bikers break out in Bieber fever. Did you see this? A group of hog riders go hog wild to Justin Bieber`s "Baby." Bieber appealed to the Harley-Davidson set. Check out this brand-new promo for the American Music Awards.
