ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Michael Jackson`s breaking news.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. The world today got to hear new music from Michael Jackson, a song called "Breaking News" that made for plenty of breaking news. And that`s because there is a great debate over whether that really is Michael Jackson singing or an imposter.
And at the very same time, Michael`s mother Katherine and his children made their own breaking news today in an unbelievable tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. Michael`s mother making revelations to Oprah about his addiction to drugs and plastic surgery, his kids revealing their struggles to live a normal life.
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is here to tell you it was all against the back drop of that mysterious "Breaking News" song.

(voice-over) It`s a day of Michael Jackson breaking news. There`s a heated worldwide debate today about a super-controversial new Michael Jackson song appropriately called "Breaking News."

And today, on "Oprah," more breaking news with Michael Jackson`s mom speaking out for the first time.
KATHERINE JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S MOTHER: Sometimes, during the day, I could hear his laughter.
HAMMER: And Jackson`s kids in their first interview telling Oprah what it`s like to grow up with their famous father.
PARIS KATHERINE JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S DAUGHTER: I would say he was the best cook ever.
HAMMER: And what it`s like now to grow up without him.
OPRAH WINFREY, HOST, "THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW": What do you miss the most?
PARIS JACKSON: Everything.
HAMMER: Today, Sony Music posted on "MichaelJackson.com" what it says is a brand-new song from the King of Pop. It`s part of an upcoming album of new Michael Jackson material.

The new song, "Breaking News," takes on the media`s obsession with the King of Pop.

HAMMER: And from the second "Breaking News" hit the Web today, it spawned perhaps the biggest musical conspiracy theory since people started spotting Elvis Presley in shopping malls.
NINA PARKER, PRODUCER, TMZ: Some people say it`s him. Some people it`s not.
HAMMER: TMZ`s Nina Parker tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT even some in Jackson`s family reportedly are convinced the new Michael Jackson song is nothing of the sort.
Parker: We`re told that Katherine Jackson has said the children don`t believe that it`s their father`s voice. And there are other members of the Jackson family who say that, you know, they don`t think it`s an authentic Michael Jackson song.
HAMMER: In this TMZ video obtained by SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Jackson`s sister, La Toya, counted herself one of the skeptics.
LA TOYA JACKSON, SISTER OF MICHAEL JACKSON: I listened to it and it doesn`t sound like him.
HAMMER: Oprah Winfrey`s interview with Jackson`s family, which aired today, doesn`t address the song controversy.
WINFREY: June 25th.
KATHERINE JACKSON: The worst day of my life.
HAMMER: In her first interview since Jackson`s death, his heartbroken mother, Katherine, tells Oprah she still carries the pain from losing Michael.
KATHERINE JACKSON: I don`t like to talk about it until now.
HAMMER: And in two new bombshells, Katherine admits she tried to steer her famous son away from his two big addictions. Plastic surgery -
KATHERINE JACKSON: I told him, "That`s enough" and "Why do you keep going?"
HAMMER: And the addiction that eventually would kill him - the powerful drugs he was on for much of his adult life.
KATHERINE JACKSON: I spoke to him about them once when I had heard it, and he denied it. I was telling him I didn`t want to hear one day that he had overdosed because it would break my heart. It would kill me, too.
HAMMER: Katherine`s now raising Michael`s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket. She`s doing things differently from her son, who had his children wear veils to hide them from the public. Katherine Jackson tells Oprah she wants Jackson`s kids out in the world.
WINFREY: Do you think it`s good for the children to be out in public and not veiled? Do you think that`s good?
KATHERINE JACKSON: Yes, I do.
WINFREY: What is it you love to do?
PRINCE MICHAEL JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S SON: Videogames and sports.
HAMMER: And in their first-ever television interview, Jackson`s kids were shocking in their own right, in how normal they seemed. They told Oprah what they want to do when they grow up.
PRINCE JACKSON: Produce movies and direct.
KATHERINE JACKSON: I`d like to be an actress when I`m older.
WINFREY: And they shared with Oprah what it`s like to be in school with other kids for the first time.
KATHERINE: My friend, she didn`t know - she didn`t know who I was until we went on after (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
WINFREY: And then what happens? What happens when people discover who you are?
PARIS JACKSON: She didn`t care.
HAMMER: But one thing is clear. No matter how happy these kids seem with their lives and family, they really miss their father.
PARIS JACKSON: I kind of feel like no one understands what a good father he was. He was just a normal dad. He was the best dad.

HAMMER: I think that is so cool. Michael Jackson, the pop star, simply known as the best dad to his three kids. And this is really the first time we`re actually hearing from Michael`s kids since he died over a year ago. This leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, Michael Jackson`s kids on Oprah - do you think Michael would have approved?
With me, right now, in New York, Midwin Charles who is an attorney with the law firm, Midwin Charles and Associates. And in Hollywood, it`s Jim Moret, who is the chief correspondent for "Inside Edition" and author of a great book - check it out - it`s called "The Last Day of My Life."
I have to admit I hate to say I did not expect Michael`s kids to appear so normal. Obviously, I`m happy that they are. And hearing Michael`s daughter Paris explain to Oprah that she feels no one really knew how great a father Michael was to his kids, I thought it was just heartbreaking. Take a look.

PARIS JACKSON: I kind of felt like no one understood what a good father he was. He was like - I`d say he was the best cook ever.
WINFREY: A cook, really?
PARIS JACKSON: Yes. Everyone is all - a cook? Like they`re surprised to hear it.
WINFREY: Yes, I am.
PARIS JACKSON: He was just a normal dad. He was like the best dad. He made the best French toast in the world.
WINFREY: Dipped in egg, right?
PARIS JACKSON: Yes. He just made the best breakfasts in the world.
WINFREY: Would he cook for you guys a lot?
PARIS JACKSON: Yes.
WINFREY: What do you miss the most?
PARIS JACKSON: Everything.
WINFREY: Everything?

HAMMER: Yes. No question, it`s great for us to see that. We love it. But Jim, to the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think Michael would have approved of his kids being on "Oprah"?
JIM MORET, SENIOR CORRESPONDENT, "INSIDE EDITION": Maybe at this age. You know, he did his best to protect them. We know that he veiled them when they went out because he really wanted to cloister them.
But you know, you look at what Katherine is doing, their grandmother, and really exposing them to the world and they look normal. And what a fitting tribute. They love their dad. They love the silly little things like making French toast. What a sweet tribute.
Yes, I think he would not be unhappy to see how well they`re turning out.
HAMMER: I agree with you on that but I`ve got to say I doubt he would have been thrilled on them going on "Oprah." You know, we never saw much of the kids at all until after he died.
I can only presume that he would have continued to shield them from the public for better or worse had Michael lived. So Midwin, what do you think? Would he have been happy with this appearance?
MIDWIN CHARLES, ATTORNEY, MIDWIN CHARLES AND ASSOCIATES: Listen, I think Michael Jackson is rolling over in his grave right now. I mean, remember, let`s face it, we had no idea what these kids looked like until he died. It had to take him dying for us to see what they looked like at all.
HAMMER: Yes.
CHARLES: And so I don`t think he`d be happy with this. You know, I understand Katherine`s reasoning for doing it. Perhaps she feels, you know what? They`re old enough now. They`re more comfortable with being out in the public.
HAMMER: And it`s showing Michael in a different light, which is terrific. I do want to get Brooke Anderson`s take on this. Brooke, what do you think? You know, we`ve been following this story all along. Do you think he would have been OK with this appearance?
ANDERSON: I do, actually. Listen, they`re not toddlers anymore. And I think, like Jim, you know, it was a fitting tribute. And it was really an outlet for these kids to speak openly and speak lovingly of their father.
And if nothing else, Michael Jackson always wanted his kids to be happy. So if this made them happy, then, yes, I think he definitely would have approved.
All right. I got to move now, though, guys, to even more big news breaking today. In an exclusive interview airing tonight on NBC, Matt Lauer just sat done with President Bush for his first interview since leaving office. For the very first time today, we got to see President Bush reacting on camera to Kanye West`s comments about Katrina.
During a fundraiser for Katrina victims, Kanye West said "President Bush doesn`t care about black people." Watch what President Bush had to say about that.

GEORGE W. BUSH, FORMER UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: I didn`t appreciate it then. I don`t appreciate it now. It`s one thing to say, you know, I don`t appreciate the way he`s handed his business. It`s another thing to say this man`s a racist.
I resent it. It`s not true and it`s one of the most disgusting moments of my presidency.

BUSH: You can see that it still burns him up that Kanye basically called him a racist. You know, Kanye used very strong words for him, Jim. So you know, who can blame President Bush for wanting to clear the air in such a strong way?
MORET: And you know, President Bush admits that it was a mistake to do the flyover of New Orleans. And that picture made him look very detached when he was flying over. But when you attack someone and say they`re a racist, it`s not their policies. It`s not their presidency, not their job, but them, the poor. Really upset, I mean -
ANDERSON: Yes. You can see it in his eyes and his body language. OK. We`ll leave it there. Jim Moret, Midwin Charles, thank you both.
HAMMER: All right. Moving on now, the explosive Lindsay Lohan drug admission today. Lindsay`s mom Dina`s startling revelation about whether Lindsay considers herself an addict. And is Lindsay really going to open up her own rehab centers?

ANDERSON: Whoo! She really had a good feeling about this. "Wheel of Fortune" contestant Caitlin Burke solved that puzzle with just one letter. That`s incredible. "Wheel" host Pat said Jack was absolutely stunned.
The New Jersey native won $900 bucks for the round and since it was a prize puzzle, a trip to the Caribbean. Caitlin also won $30,000 in the bonus round. Good for her.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. A.J. Hammer in New York.
HAMMER: And now, Ford`s focus. Brooke, I just sat down with the great Harrison Ford. He`s out with a spectacular brand-new movie called "Morning Glory" where he plays a TV news anchor.
And this was very interesting for me, because, you know, as a TV host myself, I was really curious to get Harrison`s take on what I do every day. And let me tell you, he is really worked up about the news.

(on camera) I saw this with an audience and people were laughing through the whole thing. It was so much fun.
FORD: Good. Good.
HAMMER: It was such great fun. And for me, it was a lot of fun seeing you essentially doing what I do and what I deal with every day. You know, I love "Indiana Jones" but I`m not an archaeologist so relate to this on a much different level.
FORD: Yes. Well, I mean, I`m certainly not doing what you do the way you do it. I`m doing it out of Mike Pomeroy`s(ph) bag, which is a whole different bag.
HAMMER: It`s a heavy bag.
FORD: Well, it`s a heavy bag to lift and he`s not an easy guy to deal with. He`s not a gracious guy. He`s a tough, mean-spirited guy. And the pleasure of playing a character like that is to bring him into relationship with the character that Rachel McAdams is playing and to see the effect that they have on each other.
HAMMER: You know, I can`t ignore the fact that there is - while it`s a fun movie and it has a lot of heart, but there`s also this underlying statement that it makes about the state of media and the fact that, yes, people would in many cases rather be entertained than sit and watch the hard news.
FORD: I think it`s worse than that. People would rather hear their own opinion parroted back to them than learn anything. And that`s - you know, there`s news as public service. There`s news as entertainment. And then there`s news as political polemic.
And much of what we - you know, we have a lot of choices today. And very often, people make the choice of hearing - going to somebody who is going to tell them what they want to hear.
HAMMER: Yes. Or how to think.
FORD: Or how to think or the way they`re thinking is the right way of thinking.
HAMMER: And does that frustrate you that it`s become this way?
FORD: I think it`s not very good for the culture. I don`t think it`s very good for our true understanding of what`s going on around us, and so I regret it. But there are still a lot of people practicing the news business in a responsible way.
HAMMER: And when you sit and watch the news yourself, is there certainly about anchors, something that we do that frustrates you? You can tell me. I won`t take it too hard.
FORD: No. Most of the people that succeed are so really good at what they do. I mean, they are - it`s really a - it`s a craft, skill. But also what I`m - what I admire is not the presentation. I admire the writing, the clarity of the story that they`re telling.

ANDERSON: A.J., it seems like this movie really mirrors our jobs in so many ways. You hold Harrison there in the interview that the movie was a lot of fun.
HAMMER: Yes.
ANDERSON: So would you give it two thumbs up? I really want to see.
HAMMER: I don`t do the thumbs thing. But yes, I loved it. It certainly nailed the TV aspect of it, but it was smart. It was witty and, really, the funniest movie I`ve seen in a long time.
If you`re having any hesitation about seeing this thing, don`t. Go see it. It`s terrific. It`s opening on Wednesday. And I had to ask Harrison is he going to do another "Indiana Jones" movie. This would be his fifth one. Wait until you hear what he told me. I`ve got his answer, coming up.
ANDERSON: All right. And we`re moving to LeAnn Rimes right now, because she is really fighting back today against all those reports that she`s engaged to actor Eddie Cibrian, the man she cheated on her husband with. But we`re asking today, is LeAnn protesting too much? Should she just keep quiet?
HAMMER: One of Charlie Sheen`s best friends is speaking out today. Is Charlie in danger?
ANDERSON: And big John Travolta baby news today. John is revealing some major stuff about the son he and his wife, Kelly Preston, are about to have. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Yes. Eva went through a dozen outfits during the show. Of course, the ham costume was a nod to Lady Gaga`s meat dress, which, of course, Gaga wore to the MTV Video Music Awards. Thankfully, Brooke, I`m pretty sure it wasn`t real ham there.
ANDERSON: Yes. I`m pretty sure, too. How long do you think people are going to make fun of that meat dress? I don`t think Gaga`s ever going to live it down.
HAMMER: Hey, I`m doing an award show. I`m showing up in a BOCA burger or veggie burger dress - or suit.
ANDERSON: I cannot wait to see that. Well, A.J., you know, our very own Robin Meade did not wear a ham dress or any kind of meat dress when she performed for the Grand Ole Opry. Robin, who anchors "Morning Express" right here on HLN, is a fabulous singer. She`s performed all over.
And on Saturday, she belted out "Welcome Home" for the Opry at the Ryman auditorium in Nashville. "Welcome Home" is a brand-new song. Robin says it`s about the moment when troops serving overseas finally come home.

ANDERSON: Oh, it`s beautiful. Congratulations, Robin. OK. A lot of posts our Facebook wall today about LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian denying they`re engaged. But we asked if they do get engaged, will that help put their cheating scandal behind them?

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Lindsay Lohan`s drug admission.
For the first time, Lindsay Lohan`s mom Dina publicly said today Lindsay has admitted she`s an addict. And in another shocking bombshell, Dina reveals that Lindsay wants to open her own treatment facility.
Right now, in New York, is Jane Velez-Mitchell, she is the host of the fabulous show, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL." You can catch it every night at 7:00 p.m. Eastern right here on HLN. And here in Hollywood is Jim Moret, who is the chief correspondent for "Inside Edition" and the author of this fine book, "The Last Day of My Life."
OK. Jim, Jane, the fact that Dina revealed that Lindsay is facing her addiction head on really tells me that Lindsay might actually be at a turning point of sorts. On the "Today" show this morning, Matt Lauer asked Dina pointblank if Lindsay understands finally her addiction. Watch.

LAUER: When the judge said she needed to go here and sent her, he said to her in no uncertain terms, "You`re an addict." You and I have talked about this several times in the past. Does Lindsay fully get that?
D. LOHAN: yes. And this teaches you that you are. And she`s young and I thank God that he didn`t incarcerate her because that wouldn`t have helped her. And being so young, admitting that can only help her sobriety in the future.
ANDERSON: Jane, Dina Lohan says Lindsay gets it now. What does that tell you?
JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, HOST, "ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL": Well, I think it`s big progress because up until now Dina had been Lindsay`s "enabler-in-chief," minimizing, justifying, rationalizing and enabling her out-of-control behavior to the point where she even went club hopping with her troubled daughter.
So the fact is I think Dina`s hitting bottom on her codependency and getting real and that`s exactly what happens in rehab. The entire family dynamic changes. Everybody`s got to change.
ANDERSON: Yes. And Dina also said that she had been attending some family therapy at Betty Ford where Lindsay is undergoing treatment. Well, you know, when we learned back in September that Lindsay failed a drug test, Lindsay tweeted that she was struggling with substance abuse but never used the word "addict."
So, Jim, I was surprised to hear Dina Lohan say Lindsay gets it now. This was a complete turnaround. Were you surprised? Do you think she gets it?
MORET: I was pleasantly surprised.
ANDERSON: Me, too.
MORET: This is Lindsay`s fifth time in a treat facility. Last time when Dina was on the today show, she said, "No, she`s fine. When she gets out she`ll be great." That was before she failed the drug test.
But now, even Dina says, and this is critical, "We`re taking it one day at a time." And I think this is a beginning for Lindsay. Getting out of treatment isn`t the end. It`s just the beginning of her new life.
ANDERSON: Just the beginning. Yes. And you`re right. Dina refused to admit any of this a few months ago when she was on the "Today" show.
MORET: Sure.
ANDERSON: Well, in another big bombshell today, Dina revealed some big plans for Lindsay when she gets out of rehab in January. She says that Lindsay wants to open her own treatment facilities. Watch.

LAUER: We know she had trouble after the last time she got out of rehab. Do you think this will be different?
D. LOHAN: You know, we take it one day at a time. Addiction is difficult. I don`t know. I don`t have a crystal ball, you know. I pray hard and I hope she will be able - she wants to start her own facilities, help other children. She`s so public that I think we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.

ANDERSON: OK. Jane, Dina says Lindsay`s a changed woman after mere weeks in rehab and failing so many times before. You know what it`s like to dig deep, to turn your life around. Are you buying it?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I am very troubled by this notion that she is already going to open facilities to help others. Guess what, Lindsay? You can`t give away what you don`t have. Concentrate on getting healthy yourself.
This is very grandiose and very pompous, really, and premature. And grandiosity is a hall mark of addiction, so it troubles me she`s got these highfalutin plans already. Stick with the program and work on yourself, Lindsay.
ANDERSON: And then think about those other big aspirations maybe afterwards.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Exactly.
ANDERSON: All right. Jane Velez-Mitchell and Jim Moret, thank you. And let me tell you, that is not just - that it`s not just Lindsay`s battle with addiction making for big news breaking today. A.J., we`re hearing about big Charlie Sheen news, too.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. But it`s a much different story for Charlie Sheen today. One of the biggest stars in Hollywood and one of Charlie`s closest friends is speaking out today saying he fears for Charlie`s life.
In a great CNN special called "Fallen Star: The Charlie Sheen Story," Tom Sizemore says that Charlie could end up dead.
Right now, in New York, is CNN`s Amber Lyon. She is CNN`s Special Investigations Unit. Appreciate you being here, Amber.
I know you spoke with Sizemore. And I`ve got to tell you I was fascinated with what he revealed to you about what he`s done to try to help Charlie. Let`s watch that.

TOM SIZEMORE, ACTOR: Six hours can you undo 17 years of hard work. And what people will remember is the six hours when you were (EXPLETIVE DELETED).
AMBER LYON, CNN SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT: Have you tried to reach out to him and help him get into rehab?
SIZEMORE: I tried to call him. I couldn`t get through. He wouldn`t talk to Robert Downey.
LYON: Oh, Robert Downey tried to call him as well?
SIZEMORE: Yes. Yes. And he knows about treatment. He`s been to treatment.

HAMMER: Yes. So he told you right there he`s tried to reach out to Charlie Sheen. Even Robert Downey, Jr. has tried to call Charlie. Nothing has come of it. Amber, Tom really does feel that Charlie`s life is in a whole lot of danger, doesn`t he?
LYON: Yes, that`s right, A.J. Tom is really worried about Charlie because he says that, above all, Charlie just isn`t taking time off to focus on Charlie. He keeps just getting into these situations like this New York City hotel incident and then heading right back to work.
You saw just a week after the New York incident he was back on the set of "Two and a Half Men." So Tom says what helped him get sober - because we know Tom`s had a lot of issues with drug and alcohol abuse himself.
HAMMER: Right.
LYON: He said what helped him get better was actually when he finally took a year off work and really focused on Tom and all of his issues. And above all, Tom just said, "Hey, listen, Charlie. If I can do it, you can do it, but you`ve got to take time off work to focus on yourself."
HAMMER: Yes. As you mentioned, Charlie went right back to work just a bit after that alleged hotel rampage with an escort in his room.
Well, in a brand-new interview just posed on "Extra`s" Web site today, Charlie has spoken out for the very first time since the incident about that missing watch that is reportedly what set off the infamous night in New York City. Watch this.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So what`s going on with the missing watch?
CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: It`s still missing. But I way I look at it is if you have expensive taste, you`ve got to be prepared for expensive losses. So it is what it is. I mean, you know, a guy has one bad night and everybody goes insane and panics.
And you know, I`m not panicking. So what people should be excited about is tonight`s episode of "Two and a Half Men."

HAMMER: You`re getting a plug in there. It`s amazing. I watch that and I`m thinking how relaxed he looks, how comfortable he looks given all these been through. He says everybody is making this a bigger story than it is.
Now, you spoke with everybody from Charlie`s friends to even Dr. Drew about this. It seems to me - I`m curious what they told you. You know, his sense of calm is very inconsistent with everyone else`s fears about him. Something isn`t right here.
LYON: Yes, exactly. You notice he tried to shift the focus there. But in Charlie`s defense, Tom said that Charlie is a big collector of watches. He just loves them. And Tom said he had seen this $150,000 watch before and he understands why Charlie was upset. But Tom says is that had Charlie been sober, he might have just said, "Oh, you know, my watch is missing. I`m upset." But because Tom believes he was using drugs and alcohol -
HAMMER: Right.
LYON: It just exacerbated the problem. And you know, Charlie`s really the only one in this whole issue that thinks Charlie`s OK. You talk to Dr. Drew, who is an expert in rehabbing celebrities and he`ll tell you that he says Charlie will possibly die if he doesn`t stop and get help.
HAMMER: Yes.
LYON: And Dr. Drew says Charlie needs to take two years of work.
HAMMER: Two years. Wow. It`s startling to hear. Of course, there`s been no confirmation that he was using any substances that night.
LYON: No confirmation but Tom says he believes that was the case.
HAMMER: All right. CNN`s Amber Lyon, we thank you so much.
ANDERSON: Uh-oh, the brand new Miley Cyrus brouhaha. Outrage today over 17-year-old Miley caught on camera with a beer.
HAMMER: LeAnn Rimes really fighting back today against all those reports she`s engaged to Eddie Cibrian, the man, of course, she cheated on her husband with. But we`re asking today, is LeAnn protesting too much? Should she just keep quiet?

HAMMER: Well, Miley Cyrus`s brouhaha is one of the big stories in "The Buzz Today." Was 17-year-old Miley Cyrus really caught on camera with a beer in her hand? Also, big John Travolta baby news and Pamela Anderson takes on a brand-new ferocious fight.

(voice-over) Pam Anderson`s ferocious outrage. She`s meeting with Israeli religious leaders to protest the use of fur in hats.
The PETA activist, who is currently in Israel appearing on their version of "Dancing with the Stars" wants Israeli lawmakers to pass an anti-fur law being debated in their parliament. She`s trying to fight concerns by ultra-orthodox leaders that banning fur could affect production of their traditional hats worn by men on holiday.
Travolta baby name shocker. John Travolta reportedly just revealed to "Star" magazine he and his wife, Kelly Preston, will name their soon-to-be- born son, Benjamin.
"Star" says the couple revealed the name in a brand-new interview and that the baby is due around Thanksgiving. This is the couple`s third child. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Ella Blue, and they had a 16-year-old son, Jett, who died in 2009.
Miley`s beer drinking drama? Miley Cyrus is getting slammed after a brand-new photo just surfaced of the 17-year-old holding what appears to be a bottle of beer. But Miley isn`t in any legal trouble because the picture was taken in Spain where authorities apparently turn a blind eye to underage drinking.
But the International Institute for Alcohol Awareness is outraged telling TMZ, "The young people that see her as a role model could mimic the same behavior, and as a consequence, will go out and become intoxicated, putting their safety at risk."

OK. So Miley was caught on tape apparently with a beer in her hand. Did Miley commit a major party foul by appearing to be drinking underage?
Right now, in Chicago, Kelli Zink - she is the host of "CelebTV.com." And in Hollywood, it`s Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."
Now, keep in mind that Miley was in Spain when she was pictured out partying and having a beer at the age of 17 - not really considered a big deal over there. But there are people who are just outraged by this, claiming that her young fans are going to follow in Miley`s footsteps here and start drinking.
I think Miley should know by now, anything she does, it`s going to be scrutinized. But Rachel, do you think Miley is getting unfairly scrutinized here?
RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": I think it`s ridiculous. I think Miley has made it clear in the last year or so that she`s a grown up. She`s not signed up to be a role model for every teenage kid across America.
And frankly, I feel like this is parents blaming McDonalds for their kids being fat, like - kids are drinking in high school. And it`s not Miley`s responsibility for every single kid across this country.
HAMMER: No, it`s not. But again, she does have a large, young following. And I can certainly understand where people are coming from.
And it`s just another controversy in the ongoing controversies from Miley, just after the one last month where Miley was blasted by the Parents Television Council - you remember that - because they think her music video for "Who Owns My Heart" is too provocative. And now this.
In two weeks, Miley is going to be 18. But Kelli, I`ve got to tell you I`m thinking people will continue to go after Miley even after her birthday because of her young Disney image. Do you think things are going to quiet down?
KELLI ZINK, HOST, "CELEBTV.COM": Of course, they`re not going to quiet down. But A.J., I agree that Miley`s not saying, "I want to be America`s sweetheart" anymore. We look at someone like Christina Aguilera who was able to transition from the bubble gum image to the dirty girl singer and that worked for her.
Now, Miley - she wore a dress that showed her side boob and her tattoo. She`s not saying "I`m sweet and innocent." She has a boyfriend. She makes dirty music videos. That`s what she wants to be, so I think we should just accept it.
HAMMER: I guess so. Brooke Anderson, do you think we should accept it? Or do you think Miley should know better?
ANDERSON: She should know better, actually. You know, she`s not in any legal trouble. We know that. But this was wise? No, I don`t think so. I do not think this sets a good example for her young, impressionable fans who still, whether Miley likes it or not, whether she wants to be a role model or not, Kelli and Rachel, she is. And some still see her as her idol, Hannah Montana.
She needs to be more careful, but you know what? She may just not care. She`s just living her life how she wants to live it.
All right. I`ve got to move now to another story making big news today. A war of words has erupted over LeAnn Rimes` engagement reports. The firestorm started when "E! Online" announced that LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian were engaged.
LeAnn wasted no time shooting down the story on her Twitter page. She wrote this, "OK, I`ve about had it with the lack of reporting with `E News.` The fact that our engagement has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an `E News` article that is 150 percent untrue just shows you the lack of credible sources they seem to find and build a story around."
Even after LeAnn`s Twitter rant, "E! Online" is standing by their story. OK, Rachel, she may be trying to set the record straight here. But does it sound to you like "thou doth protest too much" a little?
ZALIS: I mean, honestly, they need Twitter rehab personally (UNINTELLIGIBLE) in Hollywood. It`s enough already. She`s not happy when they said bad things. She`s not happy when they say good things. I`m starting to think she`s LeAnn Rimes with "bitter" - which has Twitter. She can`t get off of it.
ANDERSON: It`s inconsistent.
ZALIS: It`s inconsistent. It`s staged - all these photos where they were getting engaged. And now, she`s mad because the press is reporting it.
ANDERSON: It doesn`t make any sense. I like your idea - Twitter rehab. There`s something to that. Kelli Zink and Rachel Zalis, thanks, ladies.
HAMMER: Got to move on now to one serious case of road rage.

ANDERSON: Hey, did you see this? A big rumble on the racetrack. The Texas Motor Speed Way turned into a boxing ring when NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon went nuts on the track. Gordon gets bumped by another driver, Jeff Burton.
Burton said he just pulled alongside Gordon`s car to apologize to Gordon. But Burton`s apology attempt caused Jeff Gordon`s car to slam into a wall. And as you are about to see, Jeff Gordon loses more than his place in the race.

ANDERSON: Yes. It`s definitely was not the convenient time to apologize. And while, A.J., I can say that neither Jeff was injured, I can`t say the same thing about their cars. Neither one can be repaired.
And listen to this - they were both put in the back of the same ambulance, so I`m sure that was a laugh a minute.
HAMMER: You know, you send a fruit basket to apologize. You make a phone call, something like that. All right. We`ve got to move on because on Friday, we asked to you vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll.
