A.J. HAMMER, CO-HOST: We`ve got big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Charlie strikes back. Charlie Sheen`s stunning move today against the porn star who claims he choked her.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CAPRI ANDERSON, ADULT FILM ACTRESS: I`m just a girl. What is my word against his?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Why Charlie is now suing her.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: David goes wild today. David Arquette posts lots of pictures of him partying with lots of women just after he split from Courteney Cox. Hey, David, maybe you should chill.

HAMMER: Miley Cyrus turns 18. Miley`s big birthday today. So listen up, Miley, we`ve got some very important advice for you. Plus, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asks is Miley going to be a big star as an adult?

ANDERSON: Royal wedding, royal pressure. The big Prince William-Kate Middleton wedding. We`re asking this question today - can Kate stand up to the pressure?

HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show -

ANDERSON: Starts right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Charlie strikes back.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. There is a stunning new battle today in the war between Charlie Sheen and porn star, Capri Anderson. Now, Anderson accuses Sheen of choking her and making her fear for her life during his trashing of a hotel room in New York City last month.

Well, today, Charlie is fighting fire with fire and he`s not just denying Anderson`s accusations. Sheen`s team has filed their own lawsuit accusing Anderson of extortion. This is really a staggering he said/she said.

Right now, in Atlanta, syndicated radio host, Carlos Diaz. Carlos Diaz is filling in today and tomorrow as host of HLN`s "ISSUES." And with me right now in New York, Atty. Midwin Charles from the law firm, Midwin Charles and Associates.

So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today a copy of Sheen`s lawsuit. It is clear he is just going nuclear on porn star Capri Anderson. Sheen claims she tried to extort $1 million dollars from him by threatening to go public with claims that Sheen threatened and assaulted her in that New York City hotel room on the night of October 25th.

Capri did go public with those claims yesterday on ABC`s "Good Morning America" and on "Nightline." And this morning on "Good Morning America," Sheen`s attorney fired back.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s a complete fabrication and it`s just a pack of lies. They told us that if we did not write them a check, they were going to go on the air and they were going to lie about what occurred that night in the Plaza Hotel room.

If she was truly a victim, she should have gone to the police, should have filed these charges the night it occurred or even a day or two afterwards. To try and extort money in exchange for the threat of going on the air is just improper. And that`s why we`re suing her and suing her legal team.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. Another ugly battle is coming. All-out war. Sheen suing the woman who is going after him. Carlos, I`ve got to ask what you think of Sheen`s "best defense is a good offense" move here?

CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: There`s no right way to answer that question, A.J., because if I say, "You know what, it sounds like extortion," then, it sounds like I`m belittling, you know, an accusation by a woman who says that she was beaten up by man.

But it`s never right to lay hands on a woman. But if you are in the situation that she was in, why would you not complain or file an account with the police that night?

HAMMER: Yes.

DIAZ: Why would you not call the police instead of your friend? It sounds like extortion in this case, but let me ask you this, too. A lot of times, there are negotiations involved where you say to a star, hey, we need this much money, you know, to - for something to go away. It`s not truly extortion. It`s a negotiation. It`s a settlement to kind of keep things under wraps.

HAMMER: Right.

DIAZ: So these things happen all the time. I just hate - I would hate to see Charlie Sheen get shaken down in this situation.

HAMMER: This is exactly why I brought a lawyer along tonight, Carlos, because Sheen`s lawsuit claims the porn star`s attorney called Sheen`s legal team and said she would go public with their claims unless Sheen paid her $1 million.

So Midwin, to Carlos` point, if it`s even true, is it really extortion? I mean, lawyers get together all the time to negotiate settlements. What`s different about this that would make it extortion?

ATTY. MIDWIN CHARLES, MIDWIN CHARLES AND ASSOCIATES: Well, I think what makes it different is to say, you know what? If you do not do X we will go forward and talk about what happened here.

Yes, it`s true. Lawyers do talk settlement all the time, but usually they talk about lawsuits. In other words, if you do not do X, we will exercise our right, right?

HAMMER: Right.

CHARLES: The right to sue. And you don`t really have that here.

HAMMER: So the threat is really what takes us over the top and makes it extortion.

CHARLES: Exactly.

HAMMER: OK. Well, Capri Anderson is playing hardball with Sheen as well. Sheen is not the only one doing that. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did confirm she has, in fact, filed a criminal complaint against Sheen.

Here she is now in video we obtained today from TMZ, arriving at a New York hotel after talking to the police. In an interview with "Nightline," Capri explained, to Carlos` earlier point, why she didn`t call the cops right away at the time she claims Sheen`s assault on her happened. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ASHLEIGH BANFIELD, "NIGHTLINE": Did you want to dial 911?

C. ANDERSON: I did, but I was also scared to call the police on somebody who is as wealthy and as powerful. And who am I, you know? I`m just a girl. What is my word against his?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I`ve got say, Capri does have a point there, Midwin. Is there any conceivable way, though, given how powerful he is, how much money he has, that whatever the truth is here, she could actually beat him?

CHARLES: It`s possible. Listen, we have to look to see what the evidence is. Remember, it is fact that when the police showed up that day that the room was in disarray. She was in her panties and locked in the bathroom.

And just because she didn`t file a claim that day, it doesn`t mean it didn`t happen, OK?

HAMMER: Right.

CHARLES: Victims, oftentimes, are very scared, very shaken and it takes them a while.

HAMMER: That can`t be held against her?

CHARLES: Of course not. Absolutely not.

HAMMER: OK. And the sad truth is, whether or not Capri Anderson is telling the truth, you know, we all know it`s not the first time Sheen has been accused of being violent with a woman.

I want to look at some of Sheen`s troubled history. Now, Sheen just finished serving that probation, which stemmed from his guilty plea for attacking his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, last December.

Sheen`s other ex-wife, Denise Richards - she has said that Sheen threatened her with violence. And back in 1997, Sheen pleaded no contest to beating up an ex-girlfriend. Carlos, we know Charlie Sheen`s accuser has some serious credibility problems of her own, but Charlie really does as well, doesn`t he?

DIAZ: Yes. And I`ve said this time and time again - I hope that Charlie gets help. I`m not telling you, Charlie, to get help. I`m saying from the point of view of the fact that a lot of people depend on you for their paychecks - because "Two and a Half Men" is one of the most successful shows on TV because of you. Without you, there is no show.

So the next time, Charlie, you might not be so lucky in this situation. How does it hurt Charlie Sheen and why isn`t CBS and the producers of "Two and a Half Men" stepping in to say, "Maybe you need to talk to somebody just to kind of work out these problems," because it is a pattern, A.J.

HAMMER: I do have to move on to more big news breaking today. Brooke Anderson, it looks like a newly single Hollywood actor has possibly gone wild.

ANDERSON: Yes. You know, A.J., David Arquette is who we`re talking about here. He`s raising eyebrows once again after his recent separation from his wife, Courteney Cox. He`s posting Twitter photos of himself having a grand old time in Miami, posing next to a bikini-clad woman, dancing on tables.

Midwin, off to you. I think if Arquette really wants to get back together with Courteney Cox, posting pictures of himself in this way, partying like he`s in a remake of "The Hangover," isn`t really the way to do it. What do you think?

CHARLES: It probably not the best way, but listen, you know, he`s gone through a breakup. Apparently, it was not at his decision. And he wants to, at this moment, party like a rock star, live la vida loca. He`s enjoying himself.

ANDERSON: Midwin, Midwin, Midwin, what are you talking about?

MIDWIN: He`s enjoying himself.

DIAZ: This guy`s got no class whatsoever. No, no, no. Midwin -

CHARLES: Class has nothing to do with partying, Carlos.

DIAZ: No. Hey, sow those oats, baby. Get out there and have as much sex as you want. Get crazy, but have a little class.

CHARLES: Oh, class?

DIAZ: Don`t treat the party - I mean, he`s literally dancing on the table.

CHARLES: Class has nothing to do with it. He wants to have a good time and let him.

DIAZ: He`s like a teenage (UNINTELLIGIBLE) boy.

MIDWIN: It`s not illegal. He`s not breaking any laws.

DIAZ: Then have a good time, but we don`t need to see your pictures on Twitter. We don`t need to see your pictures on Twitter. And you don`t need to tell everyone of your sexual escapades on every radio station that you can. Listen, I`m sorry -

CHARLES: I don`t know. Perhaps he was sexually repressed to feel the need to do that.

DIAZ: It`s completely classless.

CHARLES: I don`t think class - he`s not runner up for class man of the year. I don`t think it matters, right?

DIAZ: Listen, I can sum it up very quickly. Listen, I always wondered what Courteney Cox saw in David Arquette when they were together. And now, he`s proving me right because the guy is being an idiot - an idiot.

ANDERSON: And he may be - yes. And like I said, this isn`t the way to impress Courteney Cox if he really hopes for a reconciliation.

DIAZ: Right. He`s not cool at all.

ANDERSON: Midwin Charles -

DIAZ: How am I the girl in this situation?

ANDERSON: Carlos Diaz, thanks.

DIAZ: I`m the girl!

HAMMER: Yes, Carlos, you are the girl in this situation. There, I said it. Miley Cyrus` big birthday is what we need to talk about today because she turns 18 today. And we`ve got a very special present for Miley. Not a tricked-out Bentley or fabulous vacation.

This is actually something Miley could use for the rest of her life. I`m tacking about great advice like who Miley should and should not date and the one place she absolutely should go next year.

ANDERSON: And is Kim Kardashian dating Halle Berry`s ex? There`s all kinds of buzz today after Kim K. was spotted with spotted with smoking hot Gabriel Aubry. So what`s the real deal? Kim K`s mom knows. You`ve got to hear what she says today.

HAMMER: The Situation. Man of the year? Really? We`re going to reveal who is heaping massive praise on The Sitch and why you might want to call the "Jersey Shore" the sensation. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

BRISTOL PALIN, SARAH PALIN`S DAUGHTER: You missed it.

S. PALIN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) the mosquito.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. A music legend calls Lady Gaga Madonna, Jr.?

ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. Quincy Jones, who has produced and performed with some the biggest stars from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, says he doesn`t really have a problem with Lady Gaga being a Madonna copycat.

Quincy tells "Us Weekly" in an interview out today, Gaga is like Madonna, Jr., "A lot of people follow Madonna. I don`t, but I don`t blame those that do. She`s had a long career and has done a lot. If Gaga can do it, do it. If she knows how to do it, just do it."

Well, I`m not quite sure if it`s a compliment or a diss, but it`s a heated debate that`s got a lot of people asking today, is Lady Gaga a big poser or a pop genius? Is she the next lady of pop?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Is Lady Gaga the next queen of pop? She`s been called genius, androgynous and controversial. The lady`s got all of the ingredients to rock it to rock royalty. But is she a musical innovator or an imitator? Gaga says her style has been influenced by a range of pop icons, including Michael Jackson and Madonna.

LADY GAGA, SINGER: I think Madonna`s great. She`s been a wonderful friend and very kind and supportive and amazing.

ANDERSON: But is Gaga`s provocative approach a knock-off of Madonna`s? Take a look at this side-by-side comparison of Madonna`s "Like a Prayer" video to Gaga`s "Alejandro." Naughty nuns, crosses and Catholic Church controversy to spare. Gaga told CNN`s Larry King she doesn`t mind the comparison.

LADY GAGA: No bad comparison to Madonna. She`s wonderful and there can never be another. So I have to think of even more ways to annoy and shock everyone because she`s done everything.

ANDERSON: Music journalist and "Maxim" magazine editor-in-chief, Joe Levy, isn`t surprised by the mirror imagery.

JOE LEVY, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "MAXIM": She is our first pop superstar who didn`t just grow up with Madonna but who grew up completely defined, her life completely and absolutely defined by the world Madonna created.

And of course she`s an inheritor of some of that. What`s interesting about Gaga is, she`s inherited and worked with so many other things. She is a sponge. She soaks it up and she spits it out.

ANDERSON: Shocking videos aren`t the only thing Gaga is spitting out. To spark reaction, the lady loves outrageous fashion.

LADY GAGA: Well, some of the things that I wear are obviously created for me by designers or they`re recreations of archives, of things worn in the `70s and in the `80s.

ANDERSON: `70s and `80s ala Elton John? Sir Elton`s crazy style in his early days seems rather similar to Gaga`s over-the-top appearance. David Bowie is another artist that Gaga says she admires. Did she borrow her gender-bending looks from Bowie?

LADY GAGA: Listen, I`m trying to push the limits, push the boundaries as much as I can.

ANDERSON: Gaga has also been compared to Fiona Apple. Take a look at her video for "Just Dance" compared to Fiona`s "Criminal." Is this a "Criminal" rip-off or just random?

LEVY: Gaga - what is interesting about her, she`s kind of a blender. I`m not sure she`s had one original idea in her life. What`s interesting is, they all go into her head. She puts it on puree, and it`s kind of a delicious idea smoothie.

ANDERSON: Early in her career, Gaga was compared to Christina Aguilera. But now, critics and fans say that Christina is trying to go gaga with edgy sexuality in her latest video.

(MUSIC)

LEVY: It`s not that Christina Aguilera is taking from Lady Gaga. It`s that she tends to take from the same thing Lady Gaga takes from. It`s like they`re all eating at the same lunch counter, and behind the lunch counter, serving up delicious hot imagery, would be Madonna.

I don`t care if Christina Aguilera rips off Lady Gaga and if Lady Gaga rips off Madonna as long as everyone is wearing shiny black leather bustiers. I think we all win.

ANDERSON: So perhaps when it comes to pop music, imitation is art. And whether Lady Gaga is an eccentric genius or creative copycat, her fans don`t seem to care.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

We`ll see if Lady Gaga is the real deal with real staying power after her highly anticipated second album, "Born This Way." I think she`s here to stay, but that album is scheduled to be released next year.

HAMMER: OK. So after you spend time with your family on Thanksgiving, spend some time with us and invite the family to join in. Very special event this Thanksgiving night, CNN Heroes, an all-star tribute honoring everyday people changing the world. This is an amazing program, so many stars in this event, too, like Jon Bon Jovi, who says the honorees are the real stars.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON BON JOVI, SINGER: I`m here to celebrate the heroes because it`s the everyday people that work tirelessly that need people like to us shine the light on their good deeds so the community can get involved with them and join hands to make this country and the world a better place.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well said, Jon. Dare to be inspired by these amazing stories. Watch a special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT at CNN Heroes with myself and Brooke Anderson. It starts at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Thanksgiving night on HLN and CNN. And then, CNN Heroes, an all-star tribute, on CNN begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

ANDERSON: Is Kim Kardashian dating Halle Berry`s ex? Kim`s beautiful. He`s smoking hot. Kim K. and Gabriel Aubry would make a beautiful couple, but is it really true? What does Kim K`s mom saying about her daughter`s love life today?

Also this -

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I want to see the ring. I want to see the ring. Oh, it`s beautiful.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s beautiful.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jessica Simpson`s public love confessions today. She is showing off her ring on national TV and she is gushing about her new man. But should Jess just zip it and keep her marriage under wraps this time around?

ANDERSON: Diamond slip up. Simon Cowell`s big mouth might have gotten him into big trouble with J-Lo today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Grey`s Anatomy" to do musical episode later this season. Taylor Swift announces 19 country world tour.

(MUSIC)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Holy moly. Did you see this? Reality star Bethenny Frankel there - she is flying through the air like a pro on "Skating with the Stars." She gave it her all, but it wasn`t good enough. She got a dismal 29 out of 60 from the judges.

Simon`s big slip up today. Simon Cowell may not be coming back to the judge`s table on "American Idol." But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is here to tell you his sharp tongue is, in fact, still intact. The sharp brain - not so much.

ANDERSON: Yes. TMZ just caught up with Simon and asked him about the new judge`s lineup on "Idol" - Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

So TMZ asked the one question we`re all dying to ask - who is going to be the super tough judge now that Simon is gone? As usual, Simon didn`t hold back, but this time, his snarky comments may have backfired and it`s all caught on tape. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Who`s taking your place? Who is that mean one this year?

SIMON COWELL, FORMER "AMERICAN IDOL" JUDGE: It`s a toss between Randy and Mariah - I mean Jennifer.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You think Jennifer`s going to be the mean one?

COWELL: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Really?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Oops. Simon, it`s J-Lo who is the new "Idol" judge, not Mariah. But, A.J., in Simon`s defense, there had been a whole bunch of reports that Mariah was in the running to become an "Idol" judge. Regardless, I don`t think I`ve ever seen Simon blush before.

HAMMER: No. Maybe he knows certainly we don`t know, by the way. And I`m thinking maybe him blushing and messing that up may be a little karma at work, Brooke, for all the mean things he`s said over the years. I don`t know.

ANDERSON: Possibly. Possibly. Good point. All right. Moving to this now, "Harry Potter" is ruling the box office, making more than $300 million worldwide in its opening weekend - just one weekend.

"Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows," the first part of the last "Potter" film has cast a spell on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall. Some fans are raving about this movie.

Monica R. writes, "`Harry Potter` was great. This movie actually didn`t leave anything out of the book. The best movie so far. Can`t wait for the last one."

And Michelle T. writes "`Harry Potter` rocks."

HAMMER: Time now for the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT lineup - here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Jessica Simpson`s public love confessions today. We saw intimate details of her first marriage, of course, on reality TV. But this time around, what do you think? Should Jess keep her love life under wraps?

Lindsay`s big victory today. Lindsay Lohan getting a little bit of her freedom back even though, of course, she is still in rehab.

Kate`s royal pressure. Kate Middleton now the most watched bride-to- be on the planet. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking today - can Kate stand up to the pressure? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

It`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Report: Taylor Momsen taking indefinite leave from "Gossip Girl." Julia Louis-Dreyfus to play U.S. vice president in new HBO comedy.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: And is Kim Kardashian dating Halle Berry`s ex? Could this be Hollywood`s new "it" couple? New revelations today.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I want to see the ring. I want to see the ring. It`s beautiful!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s beautiful.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Jessica Simpson`s love lesson? Jess was once a newlywed on TV. But should Jess keep her love life under wraps this time?

Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -Oprah`s Australian adventure with Nicole Kidman. And Justin Bieber in 3-D.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - happy birthday, Miley. Miley Cyrus turns the big 18 today. How did that happen?

And all eyes are on the child star, who is suddenly all grown up. So how will Miley handle being an adult from this day forward and what should she do to make sure her child star success follows her into adulthood? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the answers to all of these burning questions today.

With me right now in Hollywood, Kim Serafin, who is a senior editor with "In Touch Weekly." And from Atlanta, Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio. He`s also filling in today and tomorrow as host of HLN`s "ISSUES."

Kim, Carlos, I`ve got to say the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff really worked hard on coming up with just the right advice for Miley today.

So let`s kick things off with our first piece of advice, which is, go to school, as in college. Miley said she has no immediate plans to attend. And yes, I know Miley is busy with her jet-setting career.

But really only good can come of this idea. I cannot think of anyone in Hollywood whose decision to go to college negatively affected them. Natalie Portman did it. The star of "Harry Potter," Emma Watson, is enrolled at Brown University right now as she is busily promoting the new Harry Potter movie.

Carlos, do you agree with our advice to Miley that, yes, get herself enrolled in college.

DIAZ: Where did Natalie Portman go to college, Harvard? I don`t know if they`re going to let Miley Cyrus into Harvard. But yes, I completely agree. She does need to go to college. She needs to have, you know, an education, a proper education.

She needs to kind of, you know, do what other teenagers do rather than say, "Oh, my gosh. Now, I`m free. My parents are getting divorced. I don`t want to deal with that, become a wild child." Just do me a favor. Don`t do the Britney route.

ANDERSON: Right.

DIAZ: I don`t want to, four years from now, be talking about the Miley meltdown. I don`t want that.

ANDERSON: Absolutely not. Well, I`ve got to tell you this - in an interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Rachel McAdams, who is starring alongside Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton in the great new movie, "Morning Glory," told us that the best advice she has ever received is exactly what we`re telling Miley today. Watch what Rachel McAdams told us.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RACHEL MCADAMS, ACTRESS: The best advice I was ever given was to finish school and get a degree. I think that that`s important and I think that served me very well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. Going to school served Rachel McAdams well. Kim, Carlos doesn`t think it will be Ivy League for Miley Cyrus. But do you think that college could serve her well?

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Yes, I think it would be a great thing for her to have a normal life but I don`t know if it`s realistic. It`s a little bit easier if you`re doing movies because can you shoot a movie over the summer, try to time it around school, take a semester off.

I mean, she`s got her music career now. She`s also trying to do movies. I think maybe for her, realistically, I don`t see her doing it right now. But she could follow someone like Taylor Swift rather than follow a Britney Spears example. I mean, there are certainly things she can do.

ANDERSON: Or go to college down the road when it works (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

SERAFIN: Or - yes, not rule it out totally.

ANDERSON: OK. Our next piece of advice - got to get to this - for Miley as she turns 18 today is, tone it down. There`s really no need to go overly sexy to look all grown up.

I got to say I thought Miley looked fantastic at the American Music Awards Sunday night. She performed her song "Forgiveness and Love" looking very mature. And I think she should stay the course, keep it toned down for now. Carlos, what do you think?

DIAZ: I`m all for sexy but I agree with you 100 percent, because if you get too sexy right now, then you fall in that same trap Britney fell into. It was like, where can you go from here? Once you have a snake on you at an awards show, what next? A T-rex?

So I mean, that`s the thing. It`s like, you know, you can only go so far. So yes. You know what? Make headlines with your vocals. Make headlines with your movies and make headlines with your smart business decisions, not with the beef cake, if you will.

ANDERSON: Yes. Kim, Miley took a lot of heat for trying to look too sexy too soon. Do you think she should tone it down for now?

SERAFIN: I think this past performance was so great. She showed she could be mature without having to go over-the-top sexy, and that`s exactly what she needs to do.

She needs to follow that example. She doesn`t need to do the overly- sexy thing. And you know, her fan base, even though they are getting older with her, a lot of them are turning 18 also, they`re probably more Hannah Montana fans. They`re not getting overly sexy either. So -

ANDERSON: Yes. Don`t jump into it quite so quickly. All right. Well, our last piece of advice to Miley is probably the one that is most important right now as she navigates the world as a newly-minted 18-year- old, and that is choose your friends wisely, especially your boyfriends.

There`s a brand-new photograph circulating on the Internet today of Miley getting little, let`s say, hot and heavy with a male friend. There are reports today that Miley is really upset that somebody in her close circle may have snapped this picture, leaked it online.

Carlos, if somebody from Miley`s inner circle did leak that photo of Miley, don`t you think it would be a good idea for Miley to choose her friends wisely, maybe even clean house?

DIAZ: Yes. I saw the photo. I mean, did she pose for this? This thing is cropped so great it`s amazing. So yes. A, choose your friends wisely and, B, don`t date vampires.

What was this guy doing, taking a big bite out of her neck? I mean, the photo that I saw - it`s like go for a guy that appreciates the lips, not in the neck area there, you know.

ANDERSON: What was that? We`re not showing the photo out of respect for Miley Cyrus. And A.J., speaking of friends, I hear that Kim Kardashian`s new friendship with Halle Berry`s ex is making all kinds of headlines today. What`s going on?

HAMMER: Oh, yes, Brooke. This all started when Kim and Halle Berry`s ex, Gabriel Aubry, were photographed sitting together at the Lakers game the other night.

So last night on "Lopez Tonight," Kim`s mom, Kris Jenner, set the record straight about whether or not Kim is actually dating Halle Berry`s ex. Watch what she told George Lopez.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GEORGE LOPEZ, HOST, "LOPEZ TONIGHT": What`s happening with Kim and -

KRIS JENSEN, KIM KARDASHIAN`S MOTHER: Oh, Gabriel Aubry.

LOPEZ: Yes.

JENSEN: He`s so nice. He`s a friend of Kim`s.

LOPEZ: Yes. They`re just friend, right?

JENSEN: Right. Just friends.

LOPEZ: Let me ask you this, they`re not - he`s a beautiful guy. That guy is unbelievable.

JENSEN: Isn`t he hot?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

JENSEN: But they`re not dating. They`re just friends.

LOPEZ: You know, I do this - I gave him my cell number.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So even George Lopez is into him. But Kim`s mom is saying that Kim and Halle`s ex aren`t dating. Kim Serafin, you matchmaking fool, should Kim try to turn that friendship into something more with Halle Berry`s ex?

SERAFIN: Oh, I mean, what a gorgeous couple they make, right? You know you have to wonder, Kim Kardashian is a master of media. She totally understands what she`s doing. Miley Cyrus maybe should take page from Kim, because Kim knows if she`s seen with someone at Lakers game, people are going to make assumptions.

People are going to say things. And Kim also has all these brands she`s promoting. So he`s certainly a good person to be seen around if she`s promoting fashion brands and makeup and perfume and all of these other things she`s doing.

ANDERSON: Yes. Fantastic publicity for Kim Kardashian. And guys, there`s even more news just in today, including new details about a star trying to make a comeback.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I want to see the ring. I want to see the ring. Oh, it`s beautiful!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s beautiful.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, my gosh.

HAMMER: But should Jess just zip it, keep her marriage on the D.L. this time instead of on TV?

Brand-new plans for Prince William and Kate Middleton`s royal wedding are revealed today. And now, all eyes are on Kate. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask today - can Kate handle the pressure?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARACK OBAMA, UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: I am a big fan of "Myth Busters."

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Really?

B. OBAMA: I am and so are the girls. I think that we`ve got a big one that hasn`t been thoroughly tested.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Which one is that?

B. OBAMA: It is Archimedes` solar ring. The pressure`s on.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANNE HATHAWAY, ACTRESS: The character was one that was such a joy to play. On the surface, she just seemed like another cute, popular girl. But to me, she was this incredibly complicated and intelligent woman.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Everybody is talking about Anne Hathaway`s hilarious Katie Holmes stand-up today. Anne says that she was a huge "Dawson`s Creek" fan as a kid. Anne says that the skit on "Saturday Night Live" was actually inspired by Katie`s "Dawson`s Creek" character, Joey and she wasn`t really doing an impression of Mrs. Tom Cruise there. Now, look at that.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And today, we finally know when and where Prince William and Kate Middleton are going to get married. It`s very exciting.

ANDERSON: It is, A.J. It`s the details everybody has been waiting to hear. Save the date because Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry on April 29th. It will be at Westminster Abbey.

So with less than six months before the big day, many are wondering if Kate is starting to feel the pressures of royal life. Is she ready to handle life under a microscope?

Right now in New York, celebrity journalist Ben Widdicombe. And right now, in Hollywood is Lauren Sanchez. She`s a correspondent for "Extra."

Ben, Lauren, with the wedding date set, the reality of Kate becoming a princess must be setting in for her. In the advanced copy of "People" magazine that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained today, Kate is being called - there it is - "a perfect princess."

She`s said to be very down-to-earth, quite comfortable in her own skin. Ben, I think Kate is going to have a seamless transition into her new position as a royal. What do you think?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: I think she`s a great choice for a bride for Prince William. You know, the royal family is as much like a business or industry as it is like family. And she has been very carefully vetted.

Diana was not considered a success by the royal family, even though she was loved by the British people. You know, she really wasn`t up for the job. So they took great care to make sure that Kate knew what she was getting into. She`s been dating William for eight years. And I think she`s the right person for the job.

ANDERSON: Well, and speaking of Princess Diana, we know that Princess Di often said that royal life could be very lonely. Along with a close group of friends, "People" magazine is reporting that Kate`s family is very tight-knit.

There`s even talk that Kate`s younger sister, Pippa, could become her personal assistant. Lauren, I have to imagine that having the support of her family is crucial going forward.

LAUREN SANCHEZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Absolutely. It`s crucial and she absolutely has that support. You have to remember that they`ve also had eight years to wrap their heads around this. So they`re pretty much in it and they know what to expect.

But more important is she has the support of Prince William, who not only supports her but wants to protect her. He does not want to see her go through what his mother had to go through. And I don`t think we will see that. He really wants to protect Kate.

ANDERSON: Yes. He wants her to feel prepared. he wants her to feel comfortable in everything that they do. And, you guys, Prince William and Kate`s upcoming wedding, though, not the only impending marriage that has a lot of people buzzing today.

A.J., Jessica Simpson is glowing following her recent engagement.

HAMMER: Yes. She is glowing and she`s grinning ear-to-ear. At least she was this morning on "Regis and Kelly," Brooke. She proudly was showing off this original 1910 Tiffany engagement ring.

Look at that beauty. It`s amazing. And of course, everyone wants to know how her husband-to-be, Eric, popped the question. And Kelly Ripa is no exception. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KELLY RIPA, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": Did he do something special like skydiving?

JESSICA SIMPSON, SINGER AND ACTRESS: No. Lord, no. I would have said no. No. We were just at my house. I`m going to keep some the details just for us, but we actually met at my house so my house is like this really - it`s a sacred place for us.

REGIS PHILBIN, CO-HOST, "LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY": You met at his house?

SIMPSON: We met at my house.

PHILBIN: Oh, did he just knock on the door?

SIMPSON: I mean, it kind of felt that way.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It would be funny, actually, if he put the ring in a can of tuna fish. I`m just saying. But Jessica is not dishing on all the details, which is certainly a lot different from the Jessica we saw back on "The Newlyweds."

You remember when she married Nick Lachey and it was all over TV. I`m hoping, personally, Jessica learned a lesson from the past. So to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - Ben Widdicombe, do you think Jessica should keep the details of her relationship and her love life mostly to herself at this point?

WIDDICOMBE: Well, it sounds like a good idea in theory. But remember, Jessica Simpson is famous for being famous. She is a singer and an actress. She`s not considered great at either of those things, but still, we care about her. We want to know who she is.

HAMMER: Her celebrity transcends her talent is what you`re trying to say gracefully?

WIDDICOMBE: If you like. If she clams up and keeps these details from the public, I think that was going to affect her ability to draw an income because we want to know.

HAMMER: All right. You know, she`s always been asked about the engagement, so it would be rude if she didn`t answer. But I think she needs to play it kind of close to the vest.

So let me ask you, Lauren, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, what do you think? Should Jess now keep the details of her relationship kind of on the D.L.?

SANCHEZ: Well, she should keep the relationship, you know, on the D.L., absolutely. Is she going to? Of course not. Exactly like what you guys said, it`s what made her famous. And you have to remember her fiance is an ex-football player -

HAMMER: All right.

SANCHEZ: Which is kind of a nice way of saying unemployed.

HAMMER: Got it.

SANCHEZ: So we might see a lot more of them on the air, I think.

HAMMER: All right. Got to leave it there. Lauren Sanchez, Ben Widdicombe, thanks, guys.

And we now must move on to Beyonce`s baby talk. Yes, it seems like every other day somebody is making a claim that they know for sure that Beyonce is pregnant. Well, B is setting the record straight today about the latest baby bump watch. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

This is the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: American Music Awards hit four year low with 11.6 million viewers. First look at Justin Bieber`s new movie "Never Say Never" in 3-D.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Beyonce is setting the record straight today once and for all about when and if she`s going to have a baby.

In a brand-new interview with MTV, Beyonce says she`s going to have a baby when she`s ready. As for all of the inaccurate reports that she`s already pregnant from people supposedly in the know, B says she`s used to it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BEYONCE KNOWLES, SINGER: At this point, they say that I`ve been pregnant like eight times so I`m kind of used to it. I just hope that one day, when I decide to be pregnant, that people are happy for me because I`m like, gosh, like everyone`s like, oh, god, please, she`s been pregnant a hundred times.

One day hopefully I will be. So, whatever - it`s a part of being a celebrity, I guess.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: So everybody just back off Beyonce. She`ll become a mom when she`s good and ready.

HAMMER: If she was pregnant eight times, she`d be like octumom.

All right. Moving on, I do want to you get out your calendar, get out your date planner, whatever you use to keep track of things because you have to mark this down, It is not to be missed - a very special event this Thanksgiving night.

CNN Heroes, an all-star tribute honoring everyday people changing the world. This thing is amazing. And it is star studded with an amazing performance by John Legend. John says that he hopes others will dare to be inspired by this year`s honorees.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN LEGEND, SINGER: And what we`re honoring tonight is people who are doing it locally in our own communities and making a huge difference. And I always tell people all around the world when I speak to them that they can do that.

They can volunteer, they can tutor. They can, you know, contribute in some way. And it doesn`t even take a lot of money. You know, just find the time to give back.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You will watch this and you will want to give back. Check out this special edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and CNN Heroes hosted by me and Brooke Anderson. That begins at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Thanksgiving night on HLN and CNN. And then, of course, it is Hereos, CNN Heroes, the all-star tribute, on CNN and that begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines having been ringing off the hook. It`s been nonstop today. The SHOWBIZ TONIGHT fans are fired up about the explosive new details in that battle between Charlie Sheen and porn star, Capri Anderson.

Anderson has filed a criminal complaint against Sheen. She says Sheen choked her and assaulted her during a wild night in a New York City hotel room last month.

Well, today Sheen strikes back, slamming the porn star`s claim and filing a lawsuit against her, accusing her and her lawyers of attempted extortion.

Lynn from Canada thinks this woman is out for Charlie`s money.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

LYNN, CALLER FROM CANADA: I think she`s just out for money like any other alleged mistress, a porn star that is showing all the other actors. And they should realize when they get involved with something like that, they are going to be sued.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thanks for your call, Lynn. Now, we do have to keep in mind that Capri Anderson is potentially a victim here, so we`re going to have to see how this battle plays out in court.

HAMMER: Well, that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live at 5:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.

HAMMER: And we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
