(on camera) Do you feel as I know some people do when they`re going through divorce, "Yes, I kind of do want to stick it to him a little bit?" Quite frankly - no, no. Let`s be honest. This is -
CAMILLE GRAMMER, ESTRANGED WIFE OF KELSEY GRAMMER: To be honest -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Kelsey`s shocking new revelations about getting married again. Whose side are you on - team Camille or team Kelsey?
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Suzanne`s sexy secrets. Calling all sexy Hollywood stars. Suzanne Somers says she has the secret for keeping you sexy forever. It`s the sexy headline-making interview you`ll see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
HAMMER: Oprah Winfrey`s dramatic attempt today to rescue the octumom.
ANDERSON: Martha head butted by her dog? The incredible new pictures out today, and why in the world did Martha put these pictures out there herself?
HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show -
ANDERSON: Starts right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - the Kelsey-Camille chaos.
HAMMER: You know, Brooke, I`m not even sure that the word "chaos" can do justice in describing the incredible developments today in the explosive divorce war between Kelsey and Camille Grammer.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has confirmed that, for the very first time, Camille went face to face with the 29-year-old woman Kelsey left Camille for after 13 years of marriage.
But wait, there`s more. Kelsey has just revealed when he`s planning to get married. But to do that, Camille would have to give him a quickie divorce.
And based on what Camille just told me, I can tell you that I don`t think Kelsey`s fourth trip down the aisle is going to happen any time soon. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the late breaking new developments today surrounding all the Kelsey-Camille chaos.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
C. GRAMMER: He called me and told me he just didn`t want to be married any longer.
HAMMER (voice-over): An emotional and heartbroken Camille Grammer tells me she`s still struggling to get over the nonstop chaos of the last year.
(on camera) You were blindsided by this. Do you hate him?
C. GRAMMER: You know, what I don`t hate him. I respect his talent. I don`t like how he did it, you know.
HAMMER (voice-over): And now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you explosive new developments today that are sure to launch brand-new battles in the grueling, public divorce between Camille and Kelsey Grammer.
DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": I understand - I am under the impression that your marriage is ending.
HAMMER: Kelsey just dropped a bombshell on the "Late Show with David Letterman" with that coy smile of his. Grammer announced plans to marry the woman he called his new girl, 29-year-old Kate Walsh even though he is not yet divorced from Camille, his wife of 13 years.
KELSEY GRAMMER, ACTOR: Kate`s my new girl, and we`re planning to get married soon.
LETTERMAN: How are the kids?
K. GRAMMER: They`re good.
LETTERMAN: Are you getting married soon?
K. GRAMMER: Sometime in February.
HAMMER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Camille`s not going down without a fight. She`s reportedly asked a judge to reject Kelsey`s request to get a quickie divorce. And when Camille sat down with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, she told me she has no intention of making this divorce easy for him, even though she is expected to walk away with more than $50 million.
(on camera) Do you feel as I know some people do when they`re going through divorce, "Yes, I kind of do want to stick it to him a little bit?" And quite frankly - no, no. Let`s be honest.
C. GRAMMER: To be honest, yes, of course.
HAMMER: This is what people do.
C. GRAMMER: I mean, you know, he moved another woman into our apartment in New York and got her pregnant before, you know, I knew anything and then I filed after that.
HAMMER (voice-over): But Kelsey also seemed to stick it to Camille, showing off his new girl, Kate, on Letterman. And look at this - it`s Kelsey and Camille`s kids sitting in Kate`s lap.
ROB SHUTER, COLUMNIST, POPEATER.COM: It`s outrageous to see his girlfriend sitting on the couch with Camille`s children. It`s staggering to me.
HAMMER (voice-over): Camille tells Andy Cohen on Bravo`s "Watch What Happens Live" that Kelsey`s latest slap definitely stings.
C. GRAMMER: He uses them as props. It`s harsh. It hurts.
HAMMER (on camera): This entire divorce has been a year in the making now. In fact, Camille tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Kelsey started growing distant last February and revealed to me she just learned that he was actually thinking about leaving her even earlier than that.
Now, four months later in June, Kelsey finally called Camille and told her he wanted a divorce. But he had a caveat. He asked that Camille keep the whole thing under wraps and fly to New York to appear with him on the red carpet at the Tony Awards and pretend nothing was wrong.
Well, last night on a brand-new episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," we saw that awkward moment when they met up the night of the Tonys.
C. GRAMMER: What do you think?
K. GRAMMER: Well, I`m just renting. I think it`s the black one, honestly.
(CROSS TALK)
C. GRAMMER: Yes. Do you want to see it on? I can try it on and you can tell me.
K. GRAMMER: If you want to.
C. GRAMMER: I`ll just try it on.
K. GRAMMER: I`m sure it looks great.
SHUTER: She tried really hard to make this work. She was determined to keep up appearances for her husband. That is why I think she feels so betrayed by what has happened.
HAMMER (voice-over): And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT confirmed today that Camille actually met Kelsey`s new fiancee and shook her hand. He told Andy Cohen on Bravo`s "Watch What Happens Live" all about it.
C. GRAMMER: She was very nice. Again, it was uncomfortable.
ANDY COHEN, HOST, "WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE": I can only imagine.
C. GRAMMER: And you know - and Kelsey looked shock. The look on his face was like -
HAMMER: And there are sure to be more uncomfortable moments ahead at Grammers gear up for round two of a very messy and very public divorce.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
This latest round of Kelsey versus Camille really has played out like a chaotic episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
But some of these brand-new developments out today make me wonder what`s really going on with Camille and Kelsey`s divorce, especially since Camille just told me she unexpectedly met Kelsey`s future bride while dropping her kids off to be with him. Camille calls Kate Walsh very nice and Camille actually congratulated her on the engagement.
Ken baker is "E`s" chief news correspondent. Ken, I`ve got to tell you, now, that I`ve gotten to know Camille a bit, I`m not entirely shocked that she took the high road when she met Kelsey`s fiancee.
But given how nasty this whole thing has been, were you surprised to hear Camille say she had such a cordial meeting with the woman who basically led to the breakup of her marriage?
KEN BAKER, CHIEF CORRESPONDENT, "E!": Well, she may have taken the high road in that, A.J. But this whole press tour she`s been doing all week, she`s taken such a low road. I think it was a tunnel, OK?
She has gone really low, talking about things about their sex life and things. And it`s gotten really ugly. And really, you do have to step back and say, wait, they have kids together. This is very sensitive. Maybe she should be being a little bit of more of wearing a sensitivity chip when she`s out talking about that stuff.
And I think that - I was surprised that she did really speak of what was probably very awkward and dealt with in a very mature way. But clearly, her problem isn`t so much with the fiancee. Her problem is with Kelsey and that`s very clear and she`s made that very clear.
HAMMER: Well, I think she has, in some instances. And I`ve heard some the interviews like the one she gave Howard Stern where she was putting a lot out there, but that`s what happens on his show and it`s not entirely unexpected.
However, I have also found and I found this when I was sitting with her that she`s been acting pretty calm, at times, publicly, about her split with Kelsey.
But I can`t help but think she`s got to feel bitter inside, especially she was really blindsided by Kelsey as we saw on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which is why I had to ask Camille, "Do you hate Kelsey?" Watch what she told me.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
C. GRAMMER: You know what? I don`t hate him. You know, we had a good run. We were together for 14 years. I - you know, I respect his talent. I don`t like how he did it, you know. I just think that the way - it just could have been a lot better.
We could have talked through this and maybe make it work for our kids. So you know, I was disappointed that he didn`t give us a chance.
HAMMER: Yes. She`s being pretty calm there with me. I want to bring in family attorney Vikki Ziegler. Vikki, I have to believe that this potential, overall valued $50 million lawsuit settlement, divorce settlement, that she may get here, has to take some of the sting out of the wound.
VIKKI ZIEGLER, FAMILY ATTORNEY: Oh, absolutely. I mean, she`s going to be one of the wealthiest women we`ve seen in a long time. Remember, there is no reported prenuptial agreement. They`ve apparently made over $100 million during the marriage.
So at the end of the day, she`s going to be very happy if she`s smart and does this properly, takes the high road and continues. There have been some jabs across the way.
HAMMER: Sure.
ZIEGLER: But - I mean, that`s divorce. It`s divorce drama. That`s what we deal with when people are going through a difficult time. Remember, he cheated on her, allegedly, so she`s scorned. But money, at the end of the day, will make everything OK.
HAMMER: Which is sort of sad because, still, you have the kids to think about. But I`ve got to tell you, after SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s headline- making interview with Camille, Kelsey went on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and, Brooke, what happened there really did outrage a lot of people.
ANDERSON: It certainly did, A.J., because Kelsey showed off an image of his kids with Camille in the lap of his fiancee. Take a look.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LETTERMAN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE). Kelsey Grammer is impeccable, ladies and gentlemen, at the theater. Nice to see you.
K. GRAMMER: Happy New Year. Good luck to you, sir.
LETTERMAN: We`ll be right back with Amar`e Stoudemire. Nice going.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: There they are with the woman who essentially stole Camille`s husband. I mean, can you say inappropriate? Can you say too soon? I don`t care what you think about Camille from what she said on her behavior on "the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
But have a little respect in this instance. And at least, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - whose side are you on, team Camille or team Kelsey? Ken, what do you say?
BAKER: Well, I have to say, in that instance, you really can`t be on team Kelsey. He should be a lot more aware of what he`s doing and care about her feelings.
Obviously, Camille, the same way. But in this instance, you can`t be on team Kelsey for that. But you know, you`ve got to remember, too, when it domes divorces in general and especially celebrity divorces, there`s no such thing as an amicable divorce. I wish they would start saying that because it never happens.
ANDERSON: I hope that everyone can come out of this thing, though, as unscathed as possible for the sake of the children. Here`s hoping. Vikki Ziegler, Ken Baker, good to see you.
HAMMER: Well, I can tell you that Oprah is on team octumom today. Yes, Oprah Winfrey making a dramatic new attempt to rescue the octumom. Wait until we show you what Oprah is doing.
ANDERSON: Martha head-butted by her dog? The incredible new pictures out today.
And it`s time for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to name the most provocative celebrity of the week. The nominees - Ted "Homeless Guy with a Golden Voice" Williams, Charlie Sheen and Camille Grammer. Our pick, your pick, coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: It`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Justin Bieber "fine" after brief hospitalization due to a mild allergic reaction. Steve Carell reportedly will leave "The Office" before the end of the season.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Check this out. It`s 46-year-old talk show host, Wendy Williams, coming out of the pool and showing off her rocking bikini body today on "PopEater.com." Let`s give credit where credit is due, OK? Wendy looks great.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, A.J. Hammer in New York.
And A.J., I hear that Suzanne Somers claims to have unlocked the key to staying sexy forever.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. She says she has. And you know, when you look at her, hey, not too hard to believe, right? The lovely Suzanne Somers has just written her 20th book and it`s getting a whole lot of buzz today.
This is it. It`s called "Sexy Forever: How to Fight Fat over 40." Suzanne just stopped by SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and she told me why some of the sexiest women in Hollywood are so sexy.
She also says she knows how they, too, can stay sexy forever. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(on camera) All right. Let`s talk - first, we can`t have this conversation without talking about Angelina Jolie.
SOMERS: Oh, my god.
HAMMER: She`s only 35 years old. She`s a mom and is considered one of the sexiest women in the world.
SOMERS: You know why?
HAMMER: Why?
SOMERS: The lips. And they`re real lips. You know, the injected lips don`t look anything - because of Angelina Jolie, everyone has big lips.
HAMMER: Yes.
SOMERS: And so, what`s happening now is people are injecting their lips to look like Angelina, but they end up looking like guppies. So she`s the original -
HAMMER: Or clowns.
SOMERS: Oh, yes. Right, right. So she`s the original big-lipped lady and they`re so beautiful. I mean, who wouldn`t want to kiss her?
HAMMER: OK. But she`s only 35 now. What does she need to do to stay sexy forever?
SOMERS: Yes. And she should do it right now if you`re watching, Angelina - she should read my books, because having children depletes you hormonally. And if you are depleted hormonally, your skin dries out. Your hair gets stringy. You itch. You bloat. You gain weight.
I don`t know if she`s going to gain weight. She might be one of those women that go opposite. There`s a little - see, curvy women are the estrogen women with the big boobs and the hips. I`m kind of an estrogen type.
HAMMER: OK.
SOMERS: She`s a testosterone body, sort of smaller breasts and narrow hips. They`re horniest ones.
HAMMER: Interesting.
SOMERS: Isn`t it?
HAMMER: Hold on. I`m going to keep my notes here.
SOMERS: Yes. Everybody thinks it`s the big-busted, hip kind of - no, we would rather sit and eat bonbons.
HAMMER: All right. Talk to me about Halle Berry, 44 years old, also a mom. Look at her. I mean, how sexy is she?
SOMERS: OK. Look at her, small breasts and narrow hips. Sexy woman. She`s just gorgeous. She`s just like - she`s just - that`s real sexy because it`s not worked on. It`s just the real deal.
I think - I think you embrace how you look and go with it. Go with your attributes because, you know, there are women over the years who have had crooked teeth or crooked smile.
Look at Ellen Barkin. I hope she takes this as a compliment because I think she`s so great-looking. But she has kind of a crooked smile. It makes her very sexy. Now, if she went and had it, like, straightened out, she`d look like everybody else.
HAMMER: Yes.
SOMERS: Yes.
HAMMER: No, I agree with you.
SOMERS: Yes.
HAMMER: I`m all about the natural beauty.
SOMERS: Right.
HAMMER: Jennifer Aniston is someone who I think is a natural beauty. Can we put a picture of Jen up right now? And for me, it`s all about the smile. And quite frankly, and I know it always got a lot of attention when she was on "Friends." But the hair - she has great hair.
SOMERS: Great hair and great skin. Really beautiful skin. It`s like flawless skin. That`s very sexy. But Jennifer does yoga. Jennifer works out. Jennifer eats organic. I know who cooks for her. It`s all clean food.
If you eat right - you know, you`ve got to take diet and nutrition seriously. And you`ve got to sleep. I sleep eight hours a night. It`s really, really important to sleep.
HAMMER: Yes.
SOMERS: And I`m sure she`s sleeping.
HAMMER: I agree. So she`s already on the right path.
(CROSS TALK)
SOMERS: She`s been on the right path for a long, long time.
HAMMER: All right. Let me ask you about one more person along those lines.
SOMERS: Yes.
HAMMER: Susan Sarandon. She is 64 years old now.
SOMERS: Yes, my age.
HAMMER: And wow. And she is, you know, as energetic as you are and as lovely to look at as you are.
SOMERS: See, we older women - it`s interesting. Now, Susan, again, she`s not worked on. She looks like she looks. She looks fabulous. And I`ve heard that she has a young boyfriend, and why not?
HAMMER: Yes.
SOMERS: I think she`s kind of ageless. I think that`s what you achieve for is not looking good for your age. You just sort of go after an ageless thing that - so I don`t know how old he is, but obviously, he finds her fabulous.
HAMMER: Yes. Dame Helen Mirren -
SOMERS: Oh, hot bod.
HAMMER: She`s 65 years old now, still so sexy. And I think, quite frankly, a lot of it comes from her confidence in her ability to walk a red carpet and look stunning or that bikini shot that we all saw. She looked unbelievable.
SOMERS: That shot in the bathing suit shows you she obviously eats right and exercises. You don`t have a body like that without it. But she`s also not worked on.
I think the women you are presenting to me are all the women who are, in their own way, their own natural beauty. They`re unique because they went with nature. I think you can`t go against nature, you know. Nature is perfection.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: Yes. I have to agree with Suzanne. Nature is perfection. Suzanne Somer`s new book is called "Sexy Forever: How to Fight Fat Over 40." It`s available right now.
ANDERSON: All right. Lots fired up posts coming in right now on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page about the Camille and Kelsey Grammer split.
Heather K. is on team Camille. "Actually, I think she deserves everything Kelsey has. He is true trash."
But Kathy D. is on team Kelsey. She says this about Camille, "She is embarrassing. I feel sorry for the kids, though."

HAMMER: Martha head butted by her dog? You know, there are incredible new pictures out today. But here`s what I want to know: Why in the world would Martha Stewart put these pictures out there herself?
ANDERSON: Rock them. Sock them. "Jersey Shore" smackdown today. J. Woww taking on Snooki. Who would be number one?
Also this -
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JEANNE MOOS, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): This is a tale of two critters. One gives folks joy. The other gives them creeps. Ever wonder what it would be like to wake up with a rat crawling on you?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Rats crawling on people. Songs about cross-eyed possum. Am I hallucinating again? What the heck`s going on here? I`ve got to look into this, coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: District Attorney still investigating Lindsay Lohan for alleged Betty Ford fight. First look! Andrew Garfield as "Spiderman."
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DEENA NICOLE CORTESE, CAST MEMBER, "JERSEY SHORE": At that time, when I was drunk for some reason, I always thought Mike was good looking.
ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Right.
CORTESE: I always thought Pauley was good looking. So I think I was like a little more intimidated to him first rather that Mike.
DEGENERES: It sounds like you`re interested in Pauley.
CORTESE: Oh, yes. I always thought Pauley was good looking.
DEGENERES: So it seems like, Pauley, she`s interested.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So Deena, which "Jersey Shore" guy do you like? The Situation? Pauley D? Deena, the newest "Jersey Shore" cast member just revealed to "Ellen DeGeneres" who she has a crush on in the house.
In true "Shore" style, she says, "two guys." What are the chances they`ll work that into the show? You can watch more of Deena on "Ellen" on Monday.
And from Deena`s love life to the news today that J. Woww has written a book - oh, goody. And it`s coming out next month.
Brooke, first, we`ve got Snooki with her novel. And now, this. Please tell me what pearls of wisdom J-Woww will be sharing?
ANDERSON: Sure thing, A.J. Jenni "J-Woww" Farley is promising to offer a modern guide to dating with her upcoming book, "The Rules According to J-Woww: Shore-tested Secrets on Landing a Mint Guy, Staying Fresh to Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb." And before we go any further, I`ve got to point out that this is coming from the woman who famously said "I am like a praying mantis. After I have sex with a guy, I will rip their heads off." Yikes.
Over now to Annabelle Gurwitch, who is an author herself of the fabulous look, "You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up." OK. J-Woww says her book is a modern-day guide to dating. Annabelle, are you horrified like I am, or are you delightfully entertained?
ANNABELLE GURWITCH, AUTHOR, "YOU SAY TOMATO, I SAY SHUT UP": I am entertained, because I tell you, Brooke, it`s fantastic news that J. Woww actually can read and write. This is big news.
ANDERSON: That`s a good sign, right?
GURWITCH: It`s true.
ANDERSON: Whose book do you think will do better? J-Woww`s or Snooki at her just released novel "A Shore Thing," because Snooki surely did look confident when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was at her book-signing with the SHOWBIZ Snooki cam. Who do you think is going to be the better seller?
GURWITCH: Well, I`ll tell you. First of all, there are a lot of self-help books out there. This might be the first self-hurt book. And I believe the most tan will sell the most books. Which one will it be? Oh, it`s going to be nothing next -
ANDERSON: I have to go with Snooki and her orange tan that she likes to sport. Well, J-woww is promising to share everything she knows about men, sex, smackdowns and standing up for yourself. If true, Annabelle, very quickly, you know, I suspect the book might be the size of a pamphlet.
GURWITCH: Oh, yes. I think it will be about one-page long and the rest will be pictures of her boobs. You know, if she could harness of boob power into brain power, that`s what she`s got to work on.
ANDERSON: She would be on to something. Annabelle Gurwitch, thank you so much. And Annabelle`s book, "You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up" will be available in paperback next month.
HAMMER: Just ahead on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, late breaking news about Charlie Sheen today. Have his bosses at "Two and a Half Men" had enough? Will we name Charlie Sheen the most provocative celebrity? Or homeless man with the golden voice Ted Williams? Maybe it will wind up being Camille Grammer. You never know. That`s coming up.
And octumom to the rescue today, It`s Oprah to the octumom`s rescue. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - Oprah saves the octumom? Oprah Winfrey`s dramatic attempt today to rescue Nadya Suleman
ANDERSON: Martha head-butted by her dog. The stunning new pictures out today that Martha Steward released herself. But why would she do that?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MOOS (voice-over): This is a tale of two critters. One gives folks joy; the other gives people the creeps. Ever wonder what it would be like to wake up with a rat crawling on you?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Train-riding rats, cross-eyed possum? It`s the shocking tale of two critters.
Plus, breaking today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," the new "Celebrity Apprentice" cast revealed today, and Usher`s shocking concert controversy.
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Oprah`s octumom intervention. It`s been two years since Nadya Suleman became known as the octumom after giving birth to octuplets in addition to the six she already had.
Financially, it`s been an uphill battle since then. And this afternoon, Oprah Winfrey tried to come to her rescue. The octumom went on Oprah`s show today and claims that she is down to her last $300.
And besides being virtually broke, get a load of this - octumom has a whopping $4,000 mortgage payment due February 1st. She is months overdue on a $450,000 balloon payment. And the founder of a porn company has come forward with an offer to buy her house.
HAMMER: And Brooke, we will get to the octumom on Oprah in just a moment. But first, a Charlie Sheen bombshell breaking today, following his reported weekend bender in Vegas porn stars.
For the very first time, CBS is speaking out today about its star of "Two and a Half Men." The network`s entertainment president saying this, "We have a high level of concern. How could we not? This man is a father. He`s got children. He has a family."
"So obviously, there`s concern on a personal level, but you can`t look at it simplistically. Charlie is professional. He comes to work. He does his job extremely well. It`s very complicated."
Yes, no kidding. Ken Baker is the chief news correspondent with "E!" Ken, they are really worried, aren`t they?
BAKER: Yes. They are worried, but if you look and you really look at the words and you analyze what the president of CBS said today, what it amounts to is she basically said, "He`s doing his job. There`s nothing we can do." That`s basically what the message is.
And I don`t have access to his contract, but I`d imagine that you can`t just say, "Hey, Charlie Sheen, stop coming to work because there`s something allegedly going on in your personal life."
If he shows up and he does his job and he performs his duties, there`s really not much they can do, unless they persuade him on a personal level, because they`re in a very precarious legal, contractual situation with Charlie Sheen.
They could have a major lawsuit on their hands if they try to call him on something without him having performance issues whatsoever. So I think it`s a very slippery slope for them. And she was being very careful with those words today.
HAMMER: Yes. And Charlie Sheen has made it very clear that if they do try to go after him for the wrong reason, he`s ready to fight.
Let my bring in Midwin Charles who is an attorney with Midwin Charles and Associates.
Midwin, does it sound to you like the minute Charlie Sheen shows up at work or doesn`t show up at work and just can`t get his job done properly, then, yes, CBS is ready to step in and intervene?
Or does it really sound like they`re saying what they`re saying because, quite frankly, it sounds good and they had to say something?
MIDWIN CHARLES, ATTORNEY, MIDWIN CHARLES AND ASSOCIATES: Well, I think, at this point, they had to say something. I mean, they seem to have had their heads in the sand for the past couple of months when everyone else was saying, "Listen, Charlie is a loose cannon."
But what surprises me is that perhaps there does not appear to be a morality clause in his contract. Otherwise, all these shenanigans would have had him fired or would be grounds to have him released from his contract.
HAMMER: Yes. And I`m just going to say this. I have no idea what his contract looks like. But given Charlie`s history, which goes back, you know, many, many years, I can see where maybe they`d try to keep a morality clause out of it. At least, his side would.
All right. Let me move on now to Oprah Winfrey`s octumom intervention today. Oprah and financial guru, the great Suze Orman, gave octumom a reality check about what she needs to do to get out of her really serious financial situation. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SUZE ORMAN, FINANCIAL GURU: If you can make a living by getting an agent, you know, selling a book, selling a TV show, whatever it is, those I think, at least, you have to try.
NADYA SULEMAN, "OCTUMOM": I guess have I a fear of how they`re going to perceive me. I don`t want people to think I`m -
ORMAN: What do you care? What do you care? Listen, they already think you`re crazy. You got that?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I`m thinking it`s going to take a whole lot more than an appearance on Oprah with Suze Orman to rescue the octumom. What about you?
BAKER: You know, A.J., this is not a train wreck. It`s a four stroller wreck. She`s got her hands full with all these babies and it`s to the point where I don`t think the public feels sorry for her.
Of course, they feel sorry for the children, but I get the impression that people are just sort of done with her. And Oprah can try to save her. You get Dr. Phil to try to save her. You get anyone to save her.
And I`m telling you, it just seems this woman is bent on self- destruction and makes bad choices and it`s just very frustrating to see it.
HAMMER: Yes. But she did make this big confession that while she`s not a baby addict now, she told Suze Orman that, yes, she was a baby addict back then. Midwin, do you think that buys her any sympathy?
CHARLES: No. No, it`s not some sort of surprise, you know, admission. I mean, I think it`s abundantly clear. You already have six kids and then you go ahead and have another eight. But I commend Oprah and Suze Orman for at least trying to step in.
HAMMER: Yes.
CHARLES: Because this isn`t about saving Nadya Suleman. This is about saving those kids.
HAMMER: No kidding.
CHARLES: That`s really what matters. And when you`re the care giver for so many kids, you`ve got to get it together.
HAMMER: No question about it. Everybody`s been concerned about those kids. All right. We`ve got to move on because, Brooke, there`s even more big breaking news today involving Oprah, isn`t there?
ANDERSON: Yes, there is, A.J. And it`s not about her syndicated talk show, but it`s about Oprah`s brand-new network, OWN.
The network premiered on January 1st. So with two weeks in, how is it doing? Because there are big questions today about whether or not Oprah should be worried. Check out what SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter found out in this SHOWBIZ special report.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
OPRAH WINFREY, MEDIA MOGUL: I`m excited. Here we go.
KAREEN WYNTER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): And it was going spectacularly for the queen of talk. The New Year`s launch of the Oprah Winfrey Network, OWN, brought in a ratings bonanza in its first week.
18.5 million tuned in places OWN in the top 25 among cable networks. OWN has already doubled the viewership of Discovery Health, the network it replaced. But despite early success, OWN`s ratings have dropped and media critics have taken notice.
BRAD ADGATE, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HORIZON MEDIA: There`s been some erosion, I think. For example, the curiosity factor is over.
MATT ROUSH, SENIOR CRITIC, "TV GUIDE" MAGAZINE: We`re not seeing it live up to its potential.
WYNTER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asked what will it take for Oprah`s network to stay relevant. "TV Guide`s" Matt Roush says many of OWN`s shows need a boost of originality.
ROUSH: There`s the sameness in much of the programming.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You don`t have to be afraid. It`s only food.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How long has it been since you guys had sex?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We don`t want to live like this.
WYNTER: OWN`s "Enough Already," the Peter Walsh series on helping families fight clutter, average roughly 530,000 viewers its first week. Not bad. But Roush says viewers may need more variety to stick around.
ROUSH: It doesn`t really seem to have a distinct identity.
WYNTER: "Oprah Presents Master Class" started strong but critics tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the show just isn`t distinctive enough to keep the momentum.
WINFREY: Everybody has a story.
WYNTER: The documentary-style show spotlights some big names like hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z, and TV news legend, Diane Sawyer. More than 600,000 viewers watched the first show, but next episode lost more than half its viewers.
ROUSH: You first look at it and think, oh, my gosh, it`s a celebrity ego trip. I`ve heard these celebrities say these stories a million times. What are we getting out of this? And it`s not even like an interview.
WYNTER: And Roush says another problem - OWN needs more Oprah.
WINFREY: You are brilliant!
WYNTER: Oprah`s onscreen presence is the winning ingredient for "Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes." A rare look inside "The Oprah Winfrey Show`s" final season reeled in more than a million viewers.
WINFREY: Yes! You get the season premiere show? How did you get so lucky, girl?
WYNTER: Brad Adgate of Horizon Media tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Oprah herself is exactly what makes that show a mega-hit.
(on camera) OWN lost a little steam after its initial launch, but some critics say the true measure will come when Oprah joins OWN full time.
ADGATE: She`s still doing a syndicated talk show until the end of the May sweeps. She`s going to go to her OWN network and focus fully. If she`s got her own show, I think then it`s a fair assessment to see how well it`s doing.
WYNTER (voice-over): Oprah`s BFF, Gayle King, who also has a show on OWN, admits they`re well aware of the challenges ahead of them.
GAYLE KING, OPRAH WINFREY`S BEST FRIEND: We know it`s going to be growing pains. We know there will be some stumbles and pickups along the way.
WYNTER: And Oprah herself acknowledged to us she expects some rocky times ahead. But she`s staying focused on her vision.
WINFREY: Let`s just calm down. Let`s get to day 14 and then let`s get to day 30. My dream is that channel will be the home base for people who are seeking the best for themselves.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m going to earn it.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. And you don`t want to miss this - Oprah Winfrey will be Piers Morgan`s first guest on his brand-new CNN show. That`s Monday, 9:00 p.m. Eastern on CNN. Don`t miss it.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: We welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood, A.J. Hammer in New York.
HAMMER: And Brooke, I cannot believe what Martha Stewart`s dog just did to Martha`s face. And wait until you see the shocking pictures of Martha`s busted lip.
Eva Longoria`s soon-to-be ex-husband, Tony Parker, is out with brand- new revelations about their split. And a Backstreet Boy is going back to rehab again. Let`s get right to the big news breaking in "The Buzz Today."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over): Backstreet`s back to rehab. Backstreet Boys member, A.J. McLean has revealed he`s checked himself into an undisclosed facility for personal reasons.
His statement, quote, "With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and at my best. I`ll see you really soon.
It`s McLean`s third trip to rehab and he promises his stay won`t affect BSB`s big tour with New Kids on the Block. He`s scheduled to begin in June.
Tony Parker`s candid confession. In his first extended interview since his nasty split from Eva Longoria, Parker is revealing new details of just how he`s coping since his fairytale marriage imploded.
The NBA star tells the French newspaper, these are, quote, "difficult times." And while he`s focused on basketball, he says he relies on his family and the, quote, "support of my teammates, coaches and San Antonio." Parker and Longoria split amidst rumors that he cheated.
Martha`s bloody disaster. Martha Stewart just revealed photos of a gigantic bloody gash to her upper lip. Martha says on her blog that her dog head-butted her in the face.
She`s says she was whispering good-bye to her French bulldog, Francesca, when, quote, "I must have startled her, because bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent`s face."
"I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip. Rushing to a mirror, I realized it was a pretty serious gash." Well, Martha rushed to the emergency room where she got nine stitches.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Poor Martha. Talk about a hard-headed dog, too. I`m still stunned, actually, I have to tell you, that Martha was willing to post those horrific hospital pictures of herself online.
Noelle Nikpour, columnist for "South Florida Sun Sentinel" is here with me now. Noelle, are you surprised that Martha was willing to show herself looking less than perfect?
NOELLE NIKPOUR, COLUMNIST, "SOUTH FLORIDA SUN SENTINEL": Brooke, I thought those were horrible. I thought those pictures were too graphic. And I thought it was really, really funny that she was at the hospital and she has time to blog, Twitter and even commented on the hospital`s wallpaper that needed to be updated.
So I mean, I thought it was too much. And I thought it was also funny that these little French bulldogs can pack a powerful punch. I do not want (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
ANDERSON: Oh, boy. Sounds like they did. Well, talking about Martha blogging about the hospital decor - yes, while she was lying in the hospital bed waiting to get that lip stitched up, she took some time to critique the wall paper.
Along with the unpleasant shots of her lip, Martha posted on her blog a picture of the hospital wallpaper with the caption, "The ceiling border in the little patient room could use some updating, don`t you think?"
I`m going to bring in Kelli Zink, who is the host of "CelebTV.com." Kelli, who says Martha doesn`t have a sense of humor?
KELLI ZINK, HOST, "CELEBTV.COM": You know what, Brooke? It`s TMI, but it`s great. It basically says, "I want attention and flashing lights."
But I`ve been thinking about it and maybe she posted the pictures and the explanation because she didn`t want to be snapped by the paparazzi, and have us all asking, "Did Martha get plastic surgery? Did she get in a fight? Was she abused by someone?" So I kind of get where she is coming from.
ANDERSON: OK. So maybe heading it off at the pass. All right. Well, Martha, I`m so sorry to tell you this, but your graphic hospital pictures were not enough to get you nominated for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week.
But these lucky stars are our nominees. The man with the golden voice, Ted Williams, for his super quick rise to fame and his road to rehab. Charlie Sheen for his latest reported porn star and booze bender. And Camille Grammer for revealing shocking new details about her split from Kelsey Grammer. A.J., we`ve got a lot of people text messaging us with their pick.
HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. And I do think we had a couple of write-in votes for Martha Stewart at the last minute. But we did ask everyone to text their votes and also vote on the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook fan page.
Check this out. The man with the golden voice won our text vote this week. He got 58 percent of votes. And over on our Facebook fan page, the man with the golden voice won again getting 46 percent of the vote there. And I should point out, he was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s most provocative celebrity of the week last week.
Noelle, remember, just over a week ago, he was living on the streets. Then he was all of a sudden famous with a job. And then, all of a sudden, he is back in rehab or in rehab. Who gets your pick this week?
NIKPOUR: Hands down, good lord, it`s Ted Williams. I`m thinking about him, from rags to riches to rehab. I mean, the guy had a short ride when you think about it. And his mother - he has just been reunited with his mother.
And then, he has a huge fight with his daughter. Apparently, it was over money, people said. And now, he`s ending up in rehab. It`s unbelievable.
HAMMER: All right. Well, that may be your pick, but I think it is time now for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to reveal our pick for the most provocative celebrity of the week. May I have a drum roll, please?
It is not Ted Williams. It is Camille Grammer. Because, look at this, the news was breaking all week long. And she revealed lots of shocking new details about her split from Kelsey Grammer. In fact, check out what Camille told me about how it all went down.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(on camera) Do you feel as I know some people do when they`re going through divorce, "Yes, I did kind of do want to stick it to him a little bit." And quite frankly - no, no. Let`s be honest. This is what people do.
C. GRAMMER: To be honest, yes. I mean, you know, he moved another woman into our apartment in New York and got her pregnant before, you know, I knew anything and I filed after that.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: And Kelli Zink, it was not just that. She also insinuated in an interview that Kelsey Grammer likes to wear women`s clothes? You know think we got it right by naming Camille our most provocative celebrity of the week?
ZINK: A.J., 100 percent. I tested myself on this one. She`s like the Michale Salahi of her season. And I`ll be honest. I don`t want to know that Frasier wears Daphne`s panties. It`s freaking me out.
But she is so controversial. And she just has to say it. She wants the attention and she wants us to know, hey, I`m a woman that was scorned, and I`m all going to be quiet. You all have to know what this man did to me. For that, I give her some thought.
HAMMER: And we will leave it there. Kelli Zink, Noelle Nikpour, I thank you both.
ANDERSON: All right. I know we have all seen a lot of things in our day rides. But one thing I have never seen is a rat on a subway crawling on a sleeping guy or a cross-eyed possum? Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MOOS (voice-over): This is a tale of two critters, one gives folks joy; the other gives them the creeps. Ever wonder what it would be like to wake up with a rat crawling on you?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Don`t fall asleep on the subway. More of this unbelievable video, next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
HAMMER: Time now to roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - here come more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: La Toya Jackson, David Cassidy are on the new season of "Celebrity Apprentice." Kim Kardashian tweets sexy new pic of her in a bikini.

ANDERSON: On Thursday, we asked you to vote in our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. I just received the shocking final results. Homeless man with golden voice checked into rehab. Do you think he`ll get his life together?
Fifty-nine percent of you say, yes, he needs help. Forty-one percent of you think, no, the fame is just too much for him. Check out some of the E-mails.
Diana in North Carolina, "Leave him be."
Jesse from North Dakota, "We all deserve a second chance."
HAMMER: Time now for a tale of two critters caught on tape.
ANDERSON: A.J., I had to do a double-take when I first saw Heidi, the cross-eyed possum.
HAMMER: Well, Brooke, I nearly lost my lunch when I saw the shocking video of a rat crawling on the sleeping guy on the subway. And now, both critters are Internet superstars. Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
MOOS (voice-over): This is a tale of two critters. One gives folks joy; the other gives them the creeps. Ever wonder what it would be like to wake up with a rat crawling on you?
Jeff Ford had fallen asleep riding the subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn at 2:00 in the morning.
JEFF FORD, SUBWAY RIDER: A woman screams. I looked up. This was going on. I see a rat running back and forth.
MOOS: He whipped out his camera and took these shots of rat after it jumped on to a sleeping guy`s lap, then took off. By the time Jeff adjusted his camera to shoot video, the rat was back.
FORD: And he runs up the guy`s leg.
MOOS: It`s bad enough seeing rats on the tracks, but in your face? Nobody bothered to rat out the rat to warn the sleeping guy. Amazingly, he remained fairly calm. So calm that -
FORD: He goes right back to sleep like didn`t even happen.
MOOS: Maybe he thought he was dreaming. But it`s a rare and slow news day when you can cross a rat story with a tale of a cross-eyed opossum.
Her name is Heidi. She lives at the Liestik (ph) zoo in Germany, and her crossed eyes have seduced opossum lovers worldwide. She`s got her own Facebook page with thousands of friends added by the hour. Making comments like "what big eyes you have." A stuffed animal has been modeled after Heidi. Kids chant her name.
CHILDREN: Heidi, Heidi!
MOOS: The German TV station RTL demonstrated how her appeal would be lost were her crossed eyes not so crossed. She was originally orphaned in North Carolina and raised at a sanctuary. A composer wrote a song and got three young girls to record it, singing lyrics like, "Heidi is so dinky."
(SINGING)
MOOS: The cross-eyed marsupial has even been compared to one of America`s best known anchors.
MATT LAUER, CO-HOST, "THE TODAY SHOW": Do I look like that?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, you`re both adorable.
MOOS: Even the subway rodent photographer has fallen for Heidi.
FORD: That rat was actually kind of cute. I think if I woke up and saw a cross-eyed marsupial in my lap -
MOOS: He`s lap it up. But in the New York subway, it doesn`t pay to play possum.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Brooke, I`d just like to add to that - oh rats!
ANDERSON: Oh, good.
HAMMER: I didn`t write that. That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is live 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday through Friday.
HAMMER: We`re still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.
