HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - the startling Mackenzie Phillips incest backlash.
It`s been a year and a half since former child star Mackenzie Phillips stunned the world with her claim what she had a long-time sexual affair with her very famous father, The Mamas and The Papas founder, John Phillips.
This morning, on the "Today" show, Mackenzie painfully revealed for the first time the price that she has paid for that claim.

PHILLIPS: I think I was very naive. I expected, certainly, people to go, "Oh, my god. That`s so crazy." What I didn`t expect was the deeply cruel things that were said.

ANDERSON: The now 51-year-old Phillips, who is best-known for her role on the classic sitcom, "One Day at a Time," is revealing today that she`s become a virtual pariah to her family. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you there are more disturbing claims.
Right now, in New York is Bonnie Fuller. She is the president and editor- in-chief of "Hollywoodlife.com." And in Hollywood is Ramani Durvasula. She is a psychologist who can be seen on the Bravo series, "Intervention."
Ladies, Mackenzie claims she and her father, John Phillips, had a sexual afar for not one, not two, not five, 10 years. Ten years. We also know that Mackenzie has had a very troubled past with drugs.
Her family has basically called her claims drug-fueled lies. Well, this morning, she told the "Today" show`s Meredith Vieira that she would love to reunite with her family, but that that probably will not happen. Watch.

PHILLIPS: It been really hard. It`s been really hard to not have my sisters and my brothers and my wicked ex-stepmother with whom I`ve been very close over the years. But to have them basically just say, "That`s it. We`re done with you."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Your wicked ex-stepmother, Michelle - she did have a comment. This is part of it. She said, "After 35 years of a needle of her arm including several months while she was pregnant (this is referring to you), it`s difficult to believe much of her story."
"She has hurt everyone in her family tremendously and apparently feels no guilt or shame in doing it, or even how she decided to deal with her, um, memories."
PHILLIPS: Ah, Mitch - you know - again, maybe I`m naive but I`m an eternal optimist. And I certainly didn`t expect such vitriol from someone who is expected and thought of as such a classy woman.

ANDERSON: Dr. Ramani, she said, "Maybe I am naive." That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - do you think she was naive or maybe in denial to think that there would not be backlash?
DR. RAMANI DURVASULA, PSYCHOLOGIST: I think she`s naive. I think she is hopeful. And I think denial is a huge part of this picture. I really think that, at some level, when somebody makes this level of revelation, they`re hoping that by coming clean, so to speak, or just being out there that it`s going to be curative.
But the fact of the matter is, this is not an uncommon reaction from a family when somebody comes out with these kinds of revelations about abuse in their family, that the family says no, because, basically, she`s now asking them to rewrite their own histories.
That`s a tall order for everyone involved. So yes, there was a lot of denial.
ANDERSON: And it`s such an unthinkable trauma.
DURVASULA: Absolutely.
ANDERSON: Unspeakable as you and I were saying before.
DURVASULA: Absolutely. Unthinkable - it`s unspeakable. You can see the denial because she herself was terming her stepmother as the "wicked stepmother." She had to know what was coming down the pike.
ANDERSON: And she said - yes, it is common for family members to react this way.
DURVASULA: Yes.
ANDERSON: Bonnie, over to you. To the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - do you think Mackenzie is either naive, in denial or both?
BONNIE FULLER, PRESIDENT AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM": I don`t think that she was naive, really. I think she probably had to know that this was going to be a very difficult matter.
But she said it herself - she`s an eternal optimist. You know, a lot of families feel that these things should be handled privately. And I think they`re giving her payback because she decided, "I am not going to be private. This is too big a secret for me to keep to myself."
And I do think that she wanted to help others. Actually, I saw her this morning before she went on that interview on the "Today" show. You know, she looked troubled. She looked like this was a very difficult thing for her to talk about, as it must be.
ANDERSON: Yes. I`m sure it is very, very tough for her. And let us not forget that Mackenzie says she was on drugs during the 10 years that she had sex, she says, with her rock star father. She also says she has no ill will against him.
It`s really hard for me to even wrap my head around that. Mackenzie had called their relationship "consensual incest" but said today she`s changed her thoughts about that with the help of HLN`s own Dr. Drew Pinsky. Watch.

PHILLIPS: I think I was - I think I was very naive. I expected people certainly to go, "Oh, my god. That`s so crazy." What I didn`t expect was the deeply cruel things that were said. You know -
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Like what?
PHILLIPS: You know, "Oh, Mackenzie Phillips banged her dad." You know - or the blogs that I read. You know - and it was a double-edged sword. I mean, I learned a lot about the dynamic of an incestuous relationship.
I learned from people like Dr. Drew and from other survivors all around the world and the country that there is no such thing as consensual incest.

ANDERSON: Well, we wish her well. And despite her family being in shambles because of Mackenzie`s nightmare and revelations, maybe she has found some peace by being open about - so open about her disturbing past.

HAMMER: So just minutes before that interview with Mackenzie Phillips, the "Today" show had an unbelievable scare this morning.
While Meredith Vieira, Al Roker and guest host, Willie Geist, were outside the studio of Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, a man actually jumped over the barricade and toward the frightened hosts. And the whole thing happened on live TV. It was a super scary moment.

(voice-over): Viewers tuning in to the "Today" show this morning heard a super-scary moment unfold live on TV.
MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: Just ahead, actress Mackenzie Phillips -
HAMMER: As the hosts Meredith Vieira, Al Roker, and fill-in host Willie Geist were standing with the crowd outside NBC studios, a man apparently tried to jump over the barricade and got frighteningly close to the hosts. Listen to the terrifying moment.

WILLIE GEIST, GUEST HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: The bride-to-be was paralyzed at her bachelorette party in a freak accident -
VIEIRA: Oh, Jesus.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK.
HAMMER: NBC quickly cut off the hosts` microphones and went to some random video so we couldn`t see or hear how the scuffle ended. NBC quickly went to a flustered Ann Curry in the studio.
ANN CURRY, ANCHOR, THE "TODAY" SHOW: You know what? I`m going to start with the news. We`ll find out what happened outside in a little bit. But let`s talk about the news.
BEN WIDDICOMBE, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: It was very scary.
HAMMER: Fortunately, by the time Curry finished her newscast, the hosts were safely inside.
VIEIRA: We`re certainly awake now. Boy -
HAMMER: And they talked about the scary moment they had just experienced.
VIEIRA: Well, there was this gentleman behind the barrier there and he started to talk. He suddenly said - Al, you caught the words.
AL ROKER, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: "God`s gift to music. I`ve got God`s gift."
VIEIRA: And then hurled himself over the barricade.
GEIST: He was directly behind. I didn`t see what he was doing.
VIEIRA: Yes.
GEIST: I just thought it was some guy screaming.
(CROSS TALK)
ROKER: When I saw him at first, I`m kind of watching and I went to see where you guys were going.
HAMMER: This isn`t the first time the live morning news show was interrupted by an uninvited guest. Just last December, someone jumped over the barricade at the "CBS Early Show."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: See you, Joe. I`m yelling in the house.
HAMMER: But just like this morning`s incident at the "Today" show, the "Early Show" quickly cut to video. And by the time they returned to Harry Smith and Rebecca Jarvis on camera, the intruder had been hauled away.
HARRY SMITH, CO-HOST, "CBS EARLY SHOW": In all my years that we have been out here on the plaza, we`ve never had anybody jump the fence before.
WIDDICOMBE: The three big morning shows all had studios in New York, and they like to show the New York scene.
HAMMER: Entertainment journalist, Ben Widdicombe, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the broadcast network morning news shows love to put their anchors out and about with the crowds in New York City.
WIDDICOMBE: Well, giving access to the public certainly has a feel-good effect. People can come. They can wave their signs. They can really feel like they`re participating.
But it also makes the talent very vulnerable, because you never know when a deranged person is going to be in the crowd. The "Today" show has had incidents before.
HAMMER: Back in 1994, just months before the "Today" show moved to its street-level studios, a deranged gunman opened-fire just outside the new studio. An NBC stage hand was killed.
It happened in late afternoon long after the "Today" show was off the air. But it was a scary reminder of how vulnerable morning show hosts can be when they go out on to the streets.
WIDDICOMBE: I think people are very aware when you expose yourself to the public, bad things can happen.
HAMMER: Fortunately, bad things did not happen on this morning`s "Today" show. Meredith Vieira gave credit to the security.
VIEIRA: We`re lucky that we have great security -
ROKER: We do. We do.
VIEIRA: That`s on hand every day and also the New York Police Department, so they were able to get him down to the ground very quickly. And hopefully, everything is fine now.
HAMMER: So instead of a tragedy, today was just another example of the chaos that can be live television.

And today, we did learn the alleged "Today" show intruder was not armed and was taken into custody just after the incident.
ANDERSON: Unbelievable star hair shockers. Justin Bieber, John Travolta. The Bieb cuts his hair. Our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint today - was this one big hairy mistake? And look at John Travolta. No hair piece.
HAMMER: Sofia Vergara`s weighty confessions today. The "Modern Family" star says she was told she was too fat for Hollywood. Are you kidding me?
ANDERSON: Yes, what? And the fireworks are flying today between Katy Perry and Britney Spears?

She is going to be our fashion and celebrity commentator. We`ve also got acclaimed actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and syndicated radio host, Carlos Diaz, joining us.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, Brooke Anderson is in Hollywood. And now, the SHOWBIZ "Road to Gold." LL Cool C?
ANDERSON: A.J., "LL Cool J," as you know, stands for "Ladies love cool James." The hip-hop star`s real name is James.
But today, I can tell you that L.L. better watch out because ladies love cool Colin. I`m talking about best actor Oscar nominee, Colin Firth. He`s nominated for "The King`s Speech."
And boy, he`s got some tough competition. James Franco is up for "127 Hours," Jeff Bridges for "True Grit," Jesse Eisenberg for "The Social Network," and Javier Bardem for "Beautiful."
So why do women, even big stars, want to be with Colin and men just want to be him? Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Fans want a piece of him.

WYNTER: Some actresses would jump at the chance to work with him.
JULIANNA MARGULIES: There`s Colin Firth who I would, you know, die just to read a phone book with.
WYNTER: And others might just lose it in front of him.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: If you rub shoulders tonight, what are you going to say to him?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m probably going to scream in his face. Let`s just be honest. I might drool on him. I don`t know.
WYNTER: Move over, LL Cool J, because the ladies are loving cool Colin Firth. So what is it about this year`s frontrunner for the best actor Oscar that makes him so appealing? Perhaps it`s the charming characters he plays.
COLIN FIRTH, ACTOR: You see, the problematic thing is, I love you.
WYNTER: We first came to know Colin as the dashing Mark Darcy in the "Bridget Jones Diary" series, a man willing to fight for his girl and forgive her foibles.
FIRTH: (INAUDIBLE) and you`re going to pay for it!
WYNTER: We grew to love Colin as a writer trying desperately to communicate with his Portuguese love interest in "Love Actually."
But Colin says his Oscar-nominated role for playing King George VI who struggled with a stutter in "The King`s Speech" hasn`t won him any sex appeal.
FIRTH: The swoon factor hasn`t been very big after this one.
WYNTER: So maybe it`s Colin`s British accent and humor that make us swoon. Or his admirable humility as displayed when he recently received a star on the Walk of Fame.
FIRTH: I came here in 1972 as a 12-year-old checking out the names. And I never would have imagined one of the stones I was stepping on - you know, one of them might have my name.
WYNTER: Whatever the reason for Colin`s allure, his name is one the ladies will likely be shouting for some time to come.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. Camille, the star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" will join you and me as our fashion and celebrity commentator.
You do not want to miss two very live editions of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. This Sunday, we are live from the Oscars red carpet on CNN starting at 7:00 p.m. Eastern and, again, on HLN at 11:00 p.m. Eastern with the very first star reactions. That is this Sunday, February 27th.
HAMMER: Can`t wait. Well, Miley Cyrus was reportedly so mad at her dad, Billy Ray, saying that he regretted her being on "Hannah Montana." She went off on him saying she saved his career.
The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop today about this.
ANDERSON: Yes, A.J. Susan from Michigan thinks this father/daughter feud has been blown out of proportion.

SUSAN, CALLER FROM MICHIGAN: Under no circumstances do I think that Miley was trying to put a dig at her father. What she was saying was she`s enjoyed every moment of her career and it`s better than having the parents that would actually push to you do something that you wouldn`t want to.
So I think it`s all taken out of context. And I love Miley and her father and I think they`re doing great job.

HAMMER: That is Princess Diana`s iconic wedding dress on the "Today" show this morning. The actual dress that 20-year-old Diana wore on July 29th, 1981 when she married Prince Charles.
More than 700 million people watched that wedding on TV. The dress had a 25-foot train. Unbelievable. Diana`s dress is currently on tour. It`s all part of an exhibit about the late princess.
And it`s in New York for just one day before its next stop of Kansas City. Diana`s dress is probably the most famous wedding dress of all time, so will Kate Middleton`s dress create as big a splash?
Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson is going to find out. She`s heading to London and she will be there for a week leading up to Kate`s wedding to Diana`s oldest son, Prince Williams, which is set for Friday, April 29th.
Well, Christina Applegate`s brand-new baby confessions today in her very first TV interview since having her first child late last month, a girl named Sadie Grace.
Well, Applegate tells Ellen DeGeneres today her labor, not that easy, 18 hours. But of course, it was well worth it. Watch.

And that, for me, is what I`m thinking. Really, it is no big deal. Let the Bieb shake it up a little bit. People need to relax. It`s kind of like anticipating his new single. What`s his hairstyle going to look?
Phillip, what do you say? I mean, you weren`t really warming up to the hairstyle. Do you think it could actually hurt his career as some people have suggested?
BLOCH: I don`t think it`s going to really hurt his career. But if you look back through time, whether it was Elvis had the pompadour and Beatles had the bowl cut, David Cassidy, the shag, Leif Garrett, you know, the curly blond.
Girls - little girls, tweens are attracted to guys and their hair. And the guys` haircut are always a little feminine actually. Look at David Cassidy there. It was a little girly. So Bieb is butching it up now.
But what are the lesbians going to do? They`re going to have to get new haircuts to match the Bieb.
HAMMER: Oh, yes. He`s a trendsetter, I guess, so, you know, people would do what they have to do there, Phillip, I guess. And listen -
BLOCH: It will be good for the barbers.
HAMMER: The Bieber hairstyle is not the only major hair drama that`s making big news today. There was actually some major buzz today on "The View" after John Travolta was photographed looking, well, shall we say, a bit different than what we`re used to. Watch what happened.

HAMMER: All right. So Carey, let me go to you. What`s the verdict on Travolta`s new `do? What do you think?
REILLY: I had no idea that he didn`t have hair on to there. Did anyone - this is like - I`m just - I`m dumbfounded a little bit.
But I`ve got to tell you, I need the hair. I just remember "Saturday Night Fever." Do you remember when he was like, "Oh, my hair, my hair."
HAMMER: Don`t touch the hair. Yes. Absolutely.
REILLY: Don`t touch the hair. We have to have hair on John Travolta.
HAMMER: Yes. All right. I think a lot of people were probably surprised by this photo. And as they say, hair today, gone tomorrow.
Phillip, what do you think? And look, John Travolta, one of the nicest guys in Hollywood - he can do no wrong as far as I`m concerned. But as a stylist, Phillip, as an expert in the field, should John stay bald? Or should he go back to the way we`re used to seeing him?
BLOCH: Well, it`s kind of hard to go back once the cat`s out of the bag, so to speak, or the top`s off the car. You know, we`ve all seen it but can`t we just have some fantasy left? Do we have to know everything?
Where`s Vinnie Barbarino, Tony Manero? I want to see the hair. You know, he`s not the Yul Brynner type.
HAMMER: No, cut her.
REILLY: He`s still hot. He`s still hot.
HAMMER: Listen, I`d like to say that they are the only big Hollywood hair controversies making news today. But wait, there`s more. It`s Jennifer Aniston. She cut her hair.
Yes. She was just seen in public for the very first time with this new `do. I have to say I like it. Look, I think Jen looks great no matter what she does.
But the question a lot of people are wondering today - does it compare her most infamous haircut of all? You remember the Rachel, of course.
Now, I know that Jennifer has recently said she didn`t like this haircut. She didn`t like all the fuss over it. She hated the Rachel as a matter of fact. Carey, which do you like better?
REILLY: I like the Rachel. I mean, I had the Rachel until last week, just about 10 years too late. I still think it`s gorgeous on everybody. A.J., you could try the Rachel. Again, why not?
HAMMER: One Halloween, I did.
REILLY: OK. Very good. I think she should bring - I don`t know. I think I like the Rachel, but come on. She`s gorgeous. She`s gorgeous in anything she - she puts highlights on and she`s good to go.
HAMMER: Phillip Bloch, what do you think of the new hair, and how does it compare to the Rachel in your mind?
BLOCH: Well, it`s definitely blonder now and I like the blond. But you know, she`s got a new movie out and it`s always about getting a little controversy when the new movie comes out.
And Biebs had a new movie last week, too, so they`re both cutting their hair to get a little controversy going. I`m liking this `do. And you know, it`s not like because she complained so much about the Rachel a few weeks ago and now she`s doing something different. But who didn`t hate their hairdo from 10 years ago?
HAMMER: Yes. I guess that`s right. And look, I think, as I said before, she looks great no matter what she does. And you know that people are paying attention. Women are paying attention. This will set yet more trends.
All right. Let`s move along here now on my wall of hair. These are all three of the new `dos that are breaking news. The `dos that are breaking news. I like that. I think I may be on to something there.
You`ve got, of course, Justin Bieber. He`s rocking out. You`ve got John Travolta and Jennifer Aniston. We`re going to call it the - I don`t know - the hair of fame.
Now, I have a crown right here. Let me make my crown get a little bigger and get it ready to be awarded to the right person. Let me start with - Carey, let me start with you. Who do you think I should crown as SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s top "hair of famer." Who did it best here?
REILLY: Oh, Justin. I love it. Definitely, I love it short. It kind of looks like Jamie Lee Curtis. I love it.
HAMMER: I think this was a really good move for Justin Bieber. I don`t want to overstate that, but I actually think this really works. Now -
REILLY: It doesn`t come with a tic, don`t forget.
HAMMER: I`m sorry?
REILLY: Before - he had a tic before. He had to get his hair back off his face. There`s no more tic.
HAMMER: Tic?
REILLY: You know, where he`d go like this.
HAMMER: Oh, not the insect. OK. I`m just making sure I get you. I just want to make sure we`re not talking about Lyme disease all of a sudden. We`re talking about hair here, Carey.
All right, Phillip Bloch. This is a moveable crown by the way. I`m ready to position it. Who is this? Is it Justin Bieber`s new hair? Is it Travolta looking a little differently than we`re used to? Or what I think is a great new look and I think you agree from Jen Aniston over there.
BLOCH: Well, you know, A.J., if we had the picture of you up there, I want might to put the crown on you in the Rachel hairdo, of course.
HAMMER: OK. Thank goodness -
BLOCH: But I`m going to go for the Jen Aniston. I think it`s hot. And I think girls everywhere are going to be getting it. It`s very en vogue Anna Wintour.
And en vogue loves a little bob. I think it`s for Jen. I think it`s for Jen. But I am glad Biebs doesn`t have keep shaking his hair like she was saying.
HAMMER: And Phillip, did I style the crown OK? Or does it need to be a little higher.
BLOCH: You`ve got to tilt it just a little so she got some swagger.

HAMMER: There is big, new outrage over Britney Spears` new music video, "Hold It Against Me." Now, if you look closely at this thing, Britney`s video is like a giant ad campaign. She`s got her perfume. She`s got Sony TVs, make-up, even a dating Web site.
And now Katy Perry is apparently slamming Britney`s video. Just after her video debuted, a Twitter fan asked her what she thought about product placement in music videos.
Here`s what Perry tweeted, "Do it with style and grace, not so in your face like some. You have to get creative with it. Some artists doesn`t care, though, and you can tell."

ANDERSON: A.J., there`s big Charlie Sheen news making headlines today. Is Charlie going back to the major leagues? Charlie Sheen putting himself on the pitcher`s mound for another role as the wild thing, but can he make hearts sing again?
And Justin Bieber`s got another YouTube hit on his hands, but he`s not singing. It`s all making big news in "The Buzz Today."

(voice-over) Charlie`s major league curveball. Charlie Sheen just revealed to TMZ live that he`s ready to reprise his famous role as Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in another sequel of "Major League" if they make one.
Sheen tells TMZ, quote, "You might want to flood Morgan Creek with letters and an angry mob with burning torches because they don`t seem to think I`m as valuable as I do." The original "Major League" came out in 1989.
Bieber`s YouTube bang. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal that Justin Bieber getting shot on CSI has gotten over 10 million hits on YouTube. Justin`s character was shot dead. But rest assured, Bieber fan, Justin is alive and well.

HAMMER: And now, on to a new movie coming out Friday that has ignited a coast-to-coast debate about whether it`s OK to have a married man to have sex with another woman if his wife gives him a hall pass.
In a much buzzed about comedy from the Farrelly brothers called "Hall Pass," two wives allow their husbands to do whatever they want, even have an affair for one week without consequences.
Is there anything wrong with the idea of a hall pass? Or are you like, "So what? Who cares?"
HLN`s own Joy Behar is one of stars of the movie. Joy is with me right now for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. She is doing it right from the set of "THE JOY BEHAR SHOW."
JOY BEHAR, HOST, "THE JOY BEHAR SHOW": OK. Yes.
HAMMER: And I`ve got to tell you, Joy, this was the first time I`d ever heard of the idea of a hall pass, which is why I was so glad when your character in this movie, a TV shrink named Dr. Lucy, explained the concept. So here now is a SHOWBIZ first look at the great Joy Behar in "Hall Pass."

BEHAR: Listen, have you ever considered giving him a hall pass?
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: A what?
BEHAR: A hall pass, a week off from marriage.

BEHAR: I`m saying give them a week off their marriage. Look, most married men have very foggy memories of their single days. And they begin to believe that, if not for you, they could actually be with these other women.

HAMMER: That`s an Oscar-winning performance right there, Joy.
BEHAR: Totally.

Meryl Streep, watch out.
HAMMER: Yes. Get out of the way. Now, here`s the thing. Your character obviously thinks it`s OK, this hall pass idea. But do you think there`s anything wrong with married women giving their husbands a free pass? You know, do whatever the heck they want for a week?
BEHAR: You know, back in the day, they used to call it "open marriage." Remember that?
HAMMER: Yes.
BEHAR: And that was God`s way of saying you needed to get a divorce. That`s what open marriage is and that`s what this hall pass is.
No woman in her right mind is going to let her husband go off and just, you know, do whatever he wants out there, even if she wants to do it herself. And then come back and happily married again? No.
HAMMER: Not going to work?
BEHAR: No, no, no, no.
HAMMER: Your character loves the idea. Joy Behar says a bunch of bunk.
BEHAR: I believe it`s not true. Yes, I have to say that. But you know, this is acting, A.J.
HAMMER: Yes. But the whole - this was an equal opportunity situation. It wasn`t just the men who were getting the break from the marriage. The wives, the two wives played by Christina Applegate and Jenna Fischer - they also got a week off.
Do you think, Joy - now, go deep for me - if more couples did take a break, the divorce rate in this country would just plummet? Or is it only a formula for trouble?
BEHAR: I think it`s a formula for trouble. I really do. I don`t think that you can do that sort of thing without guilt and without ramifications. I really don`t. I think you`re going to get into a lot of trouble.
Look, everybody gets bored in marriage after a while. You know, it just gets boring. It`s like having another job. Let`s face it. You have to work on the relationships.
It`s like collecting tolls on the Jersey turnpike after a while, you know what I mean? But that doesn`t mean that you should then start acting out like a crazy person. You have to sort of rekindle it with your husband and go out on a date. You know the routine.
HAMMER: Now, are you at all fearful, though, Joy, that when this movie may start - you know, guys are going to go out there and see it with their girlfriends and wives and say, "Hey what about me? I want a hall pass."
BEHAR: I know. It`s a dangerous movie in many ways. I saw a screening of it this weekend. You can`t even imagine what they do in this movie. I mean, I know that "Something About Mary" was shocking. This is much, much more visually shocking than that.
HAMMER: Well, Joy, a dangerous movie and you are a dangerous talent. Joy Behar, thank you so much.
BEHAR: You`re welcome.
HAMMER: Always great to see you. You can see Joy in "Hall Pass." That dangerous film will hit theaters this Friday.
ANDERSON: All right. "Hall Pass" looks like it`s going to be really serious and, of course, very dangerous. OK. Really silly, rather.

ANDERSON: Sofia Vergara on ABC`s "Modern Family" there. Sofia`s success on that show has made her a household name. But she made it big, she shockingly was told she was too big. How ridiculous is that?
I think whoever told Sofia that should really be ashamed of themselves. A.J., she looks great and I love that she embraces her body exactly the way it is.
HAMMER: Yes. Sofia Vergara, Brooke, too fat for Hollywood? That doesn`t make any sense to me on any level. I`ve been thinking about this all day. Just can`t figure it out.
Now, Sofia just revealed that before she got her amazing starring role on one of my favorite shows, "Modern Family", she was told if she wanted to be and looked like an A-list celebrity, she had to do one thing right away and that was lose weight.

VERGARA: It was very hard at the beginning, you know, when you`re not famous and you want to go to events. You know how it is that they lend you the dresses. And it was very hard - because, usually, they`re size zero.
And they would send me the dresses and it was impossible. I mean, no matter what I did, I mean, they would only come up to here. It was a nightmare. So I could never wear like really fashionable things.
It was like whatever was left over that was - I mean, I couldn`t even pick a color or a designer. It was whatever - the one that fitted.

VERGARA: So somebody told me and said, "You have to lose weight because, look, in the pictures, you`re going to look better. Look at the other actresses, how good they look." So I thought, yes, they might look better in pictures, but I look better naked.

HAMMER: Wouldn`t that be something. All right. Let`s move now from Sofia stunning body weight bombshell to a gorilla on the loose, and it`s all caught on camera.
Did you see this? Making news today, a gorilla goes ape on some aspiring football players. Now, these would-be NFL-ers are down in Florida. They`re all trying to catch the eye of NFL recruiters.
And nothing was going to keep them from impressing the recruiters, not even reports that a gorilla had escaped from Disney`s Animal Kingdom which was right next door to the training camp.
Now, what do you think happened when these big burly football players came face to face with a gorilla? Did you see this?
That`s pretty funny with the guys getting out of that gorilla`s way. And of course, it wasn`t a real gorilla. It was, Brooke, another player dressed up in a gorilla suit. But what a perfectly executed practical joke.
