A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight, Arnold Schwarzenegger`s daughter says it`s time to forgive, but should we? I`m A.J. Hammer. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - will Arnold Schwarzenegger`s family forgive him for cheating? And SHOWBIZ breaks news - what Jane Seymour just told us. Are there more kids out there?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JANE SEYMOUR, ACTRESS: I was not even remotely surprised. And I heard about two more.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: "Apprentice" bad blood. "The Apprentice" ends, but a shocking new battle begins between Star Jones and NeNe Leakes.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
STAR JONES, FORMER "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CONTESTANT": NeNe used this amazing platform to attack every single black woman on the show.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Gaga`s big haha. Big news about Lady Gaga killing with comedy on "SNL."
(MUSIC)
Plus, Gaga`s emotional revelation today to the ladies of "The View."
TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City with big news breaking tonight - Bad blood.
Lots the bad blood dripping following the finale of "Celebrity Apprentice." SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that a ferocious debate exploded today over Star Jones` arguably racially charged accusations against NeNe Leakes during the finale, a finale that ended with Donald Trump choosing John Rich over Marlee Matlin as the celebrity apprentice.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DONALD TRUMP, JUDGE, "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE": I`m going to do something a little different tonight. The winner of the "Celebrity Apprentice" 2011 is John Rich.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So what is up with Trump not saying "you`re fired" to Marlee Matlin? And what was going through Marlee`s mind at that moment? Late this afternoon, I asked her in a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MARLEE MATLIN, ACTRESS AND FORMER "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE" CONTESTANT (through interpreter): When he said John Rich, I was disappointed naturally. I mean, it stung. But then, 30 seconds later and it was all over, I got up and I hugged him.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: My headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Marlee Matlin is coming up in just a few minutes, including what Marlee thinks about the remarkable bad blood between the star contestants on "Celebrity Apprentice."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
TRUMP: John Rich -
HAMMER (voice-over): Despite the warm and fuzzy finale of "Celebrity Apprentice" as John Rich edged out Marlee Matlin to win this year`s competition, there was some bad blood flowing underneath all the hugs.
JONES: Shut the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up.
NENE LEAKES, FORMER "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE" CONTESTANT: (EXPLETIVE DELETED).
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you bad blood between ex-"View" co-host, Star Jones and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member, NeNe Leakes, exploded today into a full-fledged racial controversy.
And there`s the fresh bad blood today aimed at the big man himself over his self-promoting presidential campaign that wasn`t.
TRUMP: So what`s your opinion of me -
HAMMER: At the live "Celebrity Apprentice" finale, Trump all but invited Star Jones to take a parting shot at her nemesis, NeNe Leakes.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Everybody shut the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up. It`s (EXPLETIVE DELETED) pissing me off.
HAMMER: Throughout the season, NeNe started her share of screaming matches with La Toya Jackson.
LEAKES: I worked my ass off while you sat there and looked like Casper the ghost.
HAMMER: And especially with Star Jones.
TRUMP: Where did this start?
LEAKES: It actually has been starting from the beginning and Star with her (EXPLETIVE DELETED). You talk a good game. Bring your street game, because that`s what I`m bringing. Now, where`s Barbara Walters?
HAMMER: And last night, while getting the last word with NeNe, Star pulled out the explosive race card.
JONES: NeNe used this amazing platform to attack every single black woman on the show.
HAMMER: What followed next was a civil and intelligent discussion on the complicated issue of gender and race in mass media. Just kidding. They just yelled at each other again.
LEAKES: (INAUDIBLE) with blacks.
JONES: Excuse me. Excuse me.
LEAKES: It`s not about a racial thing.
HAMMER: This morning on Star`s old show "The View" where there`s a little anti-Star bad blood as well, Sherri Shepherd defended NeNe from the race- based attack - kind of.
SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You watch "Atlanta Housewives." NeNe goes off on one of the white girls, Kim Zolciak, way worse than Star Jones.
HAMMER: So, apparently, Sherri is saying NeNe is this mean -
LEAKES: Who the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) do you think you are?
HAMMER: To everyone, regardless of race or gender. Good to know.
LA TOYA JACKSON, FORMER "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE" CONTESTANT: I wish that they would fight this way off camera for charity the way they did on camera.
HAMMER: La Toya Jackson spoke with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT backstage after the "Celebrity Apprentice" finale. And she says the show is a celebrity-eat- celebrity world.
L. JACKSON: I learned that people will do anything. They will cut your throat just to win.
HAMMER: And then, there`s Trump. At the height of his sort of presidential campaign, Trump repeatedly said the "Celebrity Apprentice" finale was when he`d announce a date for his decision on his candidacy.
TRUMP: Good night, folks.
HAMMER: That, of course, didn`t happen in last night`s finale because Trump announced his decision not to run last week, coincidentally right as he announced NBC`s renewal of "Celebrity Apprentice."
TRUMP: I`ve decided that we are going to continue onward with "Celebrity Apprentice." I will not be running for president as much as I`d like to.
HAMMER: So last night`s finale begs the question once again - was Trump`s extremely inflammatory presidential run nothing more than a promotional campaign for his TV show?
L. JACKSON: I kind of predicted that he wouldn`t run.
HAMMER: La Toya Jackson told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she gives Trump credit for his attention-grabbing non-candidacy.
L. JACKSON: He knew what he was doing and stirred up a lot of noise. And that`s what he did which is really what he wanted and really good for him.
HAMMER: But today, "New York Magazine`s" Web site unloaded on Trump writing, quote, "With all of the presidential nonsense behind us forever, nobody will ever take him seriously again on any sort of national stage."
"It`s clear how ultimately unimportant this guy is. And the worst part is that no matter how many times he tells us how mean he is, he needs to us like him so badly. He needs the show more than we need it."
TRUMP: It`s been an amazing season.
HAMMER: New ratings out today show last night`s "Celebrity Apprentice" finale was the lowest-rated spring finale in the history of the franchise. But hopefully, the millions the show raised for charity will do enough good to counteract the bad blood.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
Now, onto my SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with the great Marlee Matlin. I asked her what she thought about that bad blood between Star and NeNe Leakes. Take a look.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(on camera): Look, it seemed like just about everybody made their peace last night. We actually saw Meatloaf and Gary Busey -
MATLIN: Really? You think so?
HAMMER: Hold on, I`m getting to it.
MATLIN: Are you sure?
HAMMER: Certain people. We got - look, seeing Gary Busey and Meatloaf hugging it out was a pretty big moment. But there is a lot today being made of the bad blood after Star Jones attacked NeNe Leakes on the finale last night. I want to take a look at that right now.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JONES: I was a little disheartened as a watched the episodes unfold throughout the season to see that NeNe used this amazing platform to attack every single black woman on the show.
LEAKES: (INAUDIBLE) with black.
JONES: Excuse me. Excuse me.
LEAKES: It`s not about a racial thing. It`s not about a racial thing.
JONES: It`s so -
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Is there any merit to Star`s claim that NeNe attacked every black woman on the show? It seemed to me that she was a pretty equal opportunity attacker.
MATLIN: Listen, Star is Star. NeNe is NeNe. Star, last night, could not speak for herself. She couldn`t defend herself so she had to attack NeNe.
And then, when it started all over again, I just sat there and went, "Don`t let this be about them. Let this be about the charities. Let it be about me and John."
HAMMER: Yes. I agree with that. But of course, we all know Donald Trump likes to milk whatever drama he can out of it. But to the point of what happened between Star and NeNe, I thought Star was out of line. Did you?
MATLIN: I think she was completely out of line, completely out of line. She didn`t need to attack anymore. NeNe was fine with it and then she had to be able to defend herself because Star decided to attack.
So you know what? I just put it aside. I put it aside. I thought, "You know what? What can I say to be the `Celebrity Apprentice`?" That`s all I could focus on.
HAMMER: Well, take me back to the moment when Donald Trump said he was going to do something different at the end of the show last night. Did you think for a moment that maybe he was going to announce that it was going to be a tie.
MATLIN: I thought it was going to be a tie. I was so hoping it was going to be a tie. And I would have been happy to share the trophy of "Celebrity Apprentice" with John because I think he`s an amazing guy.
He is an amazing man with a heart of gold - really is. And I`m happy that he was the one I was competing against. I really am. And I have the utmost respect for John and St. Jude.
And so, I mean, unfortunately, you know, the decision couldn`t be that way. So what are you going to do? But I think he deserved it. He did deserve it.
HAMMER: You got to raise money and America got to fall in love with you all over again. And they got to fall in love with this guy, too.
Now, Jack, you were right there through the entire season as millions of Americans got to watch you as Marlee`s interpreter and we got to hear your voice and you really had to reflect her passion.
We saw you as very passionate on her behalf. Did you at times feel like you are right there competing alongside Marlee?
JACK JASON, MARLEE MATLIN`S INTERPRETER: I only felt competitive for Marlee`s part. And so Jack is biased. So I mean - there was one point where I was so biased that Star took me aside and said, "You keep yourself in line." And I was like, "Only Marlee can tell me that. Only Marlee can tell me that."
But no, it was a very - at one point, they asked me for my opinion. And I couldn`t give it because interpreters weren`t supposed to, but I could have. I would have been happy to, but that`s not my job.
HAMMER: And sort of -
MATLIN: He needs to be kept where he is as the interpreter on that show.
HAMMER: Well, listen, Marlee. You know, one of the collateral -
MATLIN: He`s Mr. Octopus. Jack is signing for like 18 people at once. And I have to bow to Jack for the skill he brought to the show and I have to thank him very much.
HAMMER: And one of the collateral things that happened as a result of Jack being on the show is now people are asking for his autograph. I mean, you`re a bona fide celebrity, Jack.
JASON: Nobody`s asked me for my autograph. They`re only stalking me in my shower, so -
HAMMER: Can I have your autograph?
JASON: No, I won`t give you my autograph.
HAMMER: Marlee, Jack, thank you so much. Congratulations for all the good you did for your charity. It`s always great to see you.
MATLIN: Thank you very much, A.J.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: SHOWBIZ breaks news tonight. Jane Seymour`s shocking new claims about Arnold Schwarzenegger.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SEYMOUR: I heard about two more that somebody else knows about.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Also tonight, Arnold`s daughter says it`s time to forgive him, but should we?
The "Dancing with the Stars" finale. Who is going to win? Well, the fifth season winner on the show - this guy - Helio Castroneves reveals his surprising pick in his SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, next.
And big news tonight about lady Gaga just killing with comedy on "SNL." So funny. Watch this.

TOM HANKS, ACTOR: Twenty-five years have come and gone so fast. For every single person here, I just want to say thank you for what "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has meant in our lives."
(END VIDEO CLIP)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Well, it has come now to Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane and Kirstie Alley all competing for the coveted mirror ball trophy on "Dancing with the Stars." But who will take home that grand prize?
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
And tonight, we have a "Dancing" insider right here to give us the real story on the race for the "Dancing with the Stars" championship, season five winner and Indy car driver, Helio Castroneves, who joins me right now for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.
First of all, it`s thrilling to have you here. Thanks so much for coming in.
HELIO CASTRONEVES, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" WINNER: Thanks for having me.
HAMMER: I don`t know about your line of work, but everybody here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is taking bets on who is going to win this and take home that mirror ball trophy. So as somebody who is a ballroom champion himself, you`ve got to give me your pick.
CASTRONEVES: Absolutely. In fact, it`s interesting because it`s not only about how good you`re dancing. It`s about actually the combination. You have to have the fans. You have to go up there and have fun and be charismatic.
And my pick at this point - I think Hines Ward has all these aspects because he`s a football player. He`s not a professional dancer. He`s competing with Chelsea which is - she actually, you know, worked on Disney Channel.
And she kind of like does the, you know, dancing stuff and things like that, so she might have that direction. And I think the fans realize that and they might - going to be voting for Hines.
HAMMER: OK. I`m writing that down. We`ll talk after your big race on Sunday -
CASTRONEVES: Absolutely.
HAMMER: And see if you got that right. Personally, I`ve been rooting for Kirstie Alley throughout the season. I`ve got to give it to her. She`s hung in there, although she has had a few missteps along the way.
We`ve got a great iReport from Cameron H. in Georgia who thinks Kirstie Alley should be the winner of "Dancing with the Stars." Let`s watch that.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CAMERON H., IREPORTER FROM GEORGIA: Kirstie Alley is one of the final three on this year`s season of "Dancing with the Stars." And I cannot be more pleased. Kirstie has earned her place there and many people disagree.
But here`s why I think that. Over this entire season, Kirstie has improved the most over many other contestants. And sure, she`s taken a few falls but it doesn`t matter how many times you fall. It`s whether or not you get back up and keep going.
And I think that Kirstie has shown that she`s going to persevere no matter what. She`s had people talk about her in the media. But you know what? It didn`t stop her. And I personally would love to see her walk away with the trophy. I think she`s well-deserving. And we`re going to see what happens.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. I`m with Cameron there. And I think she`s been a formidable competitor. Do you see any surprise in the fact she`s made it so far?
CASTRONEVES: No, absolutely not. In fact, the first time when I saw she was dancing, her quick step - not the dancing but, actually, quick moves and she did a great job. And in fact, Maks(ph), the professional dancer - he`s a great guy, a great choreographer.
And again, it`s all about putting everything together. Remember, it`s not only the votes but also the judge is a big part of it.
So it`s the combination with the votes and not be very well with the numbers, so it`s - she might not be able - but I tell you, she`s definitely doing an incredible job.
HAMMER: Yes. And you have to be able to handle the pressure. It is an immense amount of pressure and difficulty, the constant rehearsals and performing every week.
And you know a bit about that, obviously, from having done "Dancing with the Stars" and competing and winning. But you know, you`re also an Indy car driver. You`re racing in the Indy 500 on Sunday.
You`ve got to tell me quickly, which is more difficult? Because I know they`re very different.
CASTRONEVES: No, you`re right. You know, certainly, for me, coming out of my - outside of territory on "Dancing," it was very difficult.
But again, I`ve been doing this my entire life, racing, and this is my goal. So my expectation on "Dancing" was really low. But now, with racing, it`s really high. Hopefully, we`re going to be able to make it happen.
HAMMER: We`re all rooting for you. Helio Castroneves, it`s a pleasure to have you here. Don`t forget to watch this Sunday. Helio is competing in the Indianapolis 500. I say he`s taking it home.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s farewell to Oprah continues tonight. The unbelievable story of how Dr. Phil got his own show.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DR. PHIL MCGRAW, PSYCHOLOGIST: I was walking by her office one day at Harpo Studios between shows. And it was kind of like, "Hey, dummy, come in here. It`s time. It`s time to do your own show."
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Wait until you hear this. Phil didn`t even say yes right away. It`s a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.
Lots of big stars smooching in Vegas. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez kiss for the very first time in public. And Britney Spears shares another girl- girl kiss, this time with Rihanna.

Britney, Rihanna - their steamy S and M duet. Love it or hate it? Next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
It`s time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
TEXT: Brad Pitt`s film, "Tree of Life," snags the biggest award that the Cannes film fest. "Glee`s" Chris Colfer on politicians and "Glee" -
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
PIERS MORGAN, HOST, "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT": I have an interesting question for you. You`ve been with me at the White House correspondents` dinner. I know you are at one of the top tables.
I`m always curious about the reality when you meet, for example, a right- wing politician or commentator - whatever. I bet they`re just all over you like a rash about "Glee," right?
CHRIS COLFER, ACTOR: Oh, everyone loves "Glee." Everyone loves "Glee." Everyone loves me and "Glee." And it`s careful -
MORGAN: And you know - you quietly know they`re all voting for gay rights.
COLFER: Yes. Yes. I do Washington C-Span occasionally. And so it`s great when people come up and say, "Oh, my god. I love you. Can I have a picture with you?" And I`d be like, "Yes, sure you don`t believe in me or my rights, but you want a picture with me. Sure, sure. I`ll take a picture with you."
(END VIDEO CLIP)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: I thought that was fantastic. SHOWBIZ trending right now - Britney, Rihanna, their surprise sexy duet of RiRi`s "S and M." Their kiss kicking off the Billboard Music Awards. And tonight, we`re asking, love it or hate it?
All day, today, Brit`s fans have been tweeting the hot-trending topic, Godney Billboardney. Sometimes, Brit`s fans call her Godney. So I think Brit and Rihanna just stole the Billboard show right from the beginning.
K. Foxx, radio host of New York`s "Hot 97 Morning Show." Their performance, did you love it or hate it?
K. FOXX, RADIO HOST, "HOT 97 MORNING SHOW": Loved it.
HAMMER: Yes.
FOXX: You know why? Because it`s every woman`s fantasy to play out that sex kitten and that`s exactly what they did. I mean, we just can`t go around every day looking like that.
So when you`re just giving it all to the audience, why not love it? They`re playing out fantasy, especially acting out the song for what it really is. I liked it.
HAMMER: And it truly looked like they were having a spectacular time doing it.
FOXX: Oh, and I`m sure that it was every man`s fantasy as well.
HAMMER: Now, Brit has done this kind of thing before. You remember this? Madonna and Britney kissing at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, remember? I can`t believe that was eight years ago. Which was a better kiss in your professional kissing opinion?
FOXX: Well, if you look closely, Rihanna looks like she`s grabbing her cheeks and kind of kissing her on the cheek, as opposed to the Britney and the Madonna kiss which was smack on the lips. I think the Madonna kiss was a little better because it was shocking.
HAMMER: All right.
FOXX: Yes. This was a little expected.
HAMMER: OK. That`s fair enough. Listen, Britney looked great. She looked happy. She was there with her boyfriend, Jason Trawick. The performance was amazing. She`s going out with Nicki Minaj on tour this summer. Do you think this all sort of cements her place back at the top of her game?
FOXX: Oh, definitely. And plus, with her album being at number one when it came out - I mean, Britney Spears` fans are diehard fans. When she comes out, they support her.
HAMMER: Yes. Nice going, Britney. All right. K. Foxx, it`s always great to have you here. Thank you so much.
FOXX: Thank you.
HAMMER: And something just must have been in the water at those Billboard Music Awards. A lot of kissing going on. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were there, smooching for the very first time in public. That is coming up.
Now, it`s the SHOWBIZ lineup - this is what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Will Arnold Schwarzenegger`s family actually forgive him for cheating? SHOWBIZ breaks news. What Jane Seymour just told us. There are more Arnold kids out there? Is that even possible?
Angelina Jolie reveals to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT how her kids helped her prepare for "Kung Fu Panda 2."
And whoa, Princess Beatrice`s fascinator, you know, the one that she wore to Kate Middleton and Prince William`s wedding, it sold for how much? Is this right? It can`t be right. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
It`s time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
We`ve got big news breaking tonight - forgive and forget? Arnold Schwarzenegger`s daughter is tweeting about forgiveness tonight.
Arnold`s 21-year-old daughter, Catherine, is letting the world know how she feels about her dad`s secret love child. And a lot of people, quite frankly, were startled to hear she`s actually willing to cut Arnold some slack.
Joining me in New York tonight, TV and radio host, Michael Billy and Dawn Yanek, the editor-at-large at "Life and Style Weekly."
I`ve got to say one of the last people you might have expected to forgive Arnold is his own daughter. But I want you to look at what she just tweeted, "Holding grudges is bad for your health. Forgive and let go. It doesn`t mean keep them around either."
OK. I agree with the language and the energy she`s putting out there, Dawn. But are you shocked that Arnold`s own daughter is willing to forgive so quickly? I mean, this is tearing his family apart. It`s just devastating to them.
DAWN YANEK, EDITOR-AT-LARGE, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": It is and I have to question how much forgiveness she actually has for him right now. To me, these tweets read like entries in a self-help book.
You know, I think she`s trying to work through what`s going on and kind of deal with her new reality and really acknowledge the fact that this is her father. She wants to have a relationship with him, but obviously, it`s tearing her family apart at this moment.
HAMMER: Yes. I take nothing away from her and however she needs to heal and whatever she needs to do. That`s just fine. But wow, you know, it just seems too early to me. Arnold`s daughter followed that tweet up with another one.
Here`s what she wrote in that, "Sometimes we forgive people because we want them back in our lives." That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, is it time to forgive Arnold and move on? Michael Billy, what do you think?
MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: Is it time to - let`s see what more comes out of the story. I mean, we have no idea. How many kids are there going to be? Is it time to forgive and move on?
You know, look, I`m all about it. We`ll see what comes up of Arnold and any more discretions. But when it comes down to it, the daughter`s right. Look at that, the youngest person. It`s unhealthy to harbor such negative feelings.
HAMMER: It is, but this just happened. This just -
BILLY: I know. I know.
(CROSS TALK)
HAMMER: I agree there will be a time to move on like there is for everything. And look, it`s much different for us sitting as bystanders and talking about it than it is for his family. But what do you think? Is it time?
YANEK: No, absolutely not. Michael`s much nicer than I am. I think we should give the kids a break and let them have their privacy. But Arnold made his bed, literally.
HAMMER: Yes.
YANEK: He is going to lie in it right now. He does not deserve any respect. He did not extend any respect to his family. And I mean - I`m sorry. He turned himself into a punch line, plain and simple.
HAMMER: A punch line. A pariah. I believe in forgiveness, too, Michael. You`re such a good guy.
BILLY: Have you forgiven John Edwards yet?
YANEK: No.
HAMMER: No. Not a chance. All right. Look, I`d have to imagine that Arnold`s family is hoping he doesn`t have any more of these secret kids out there.
But even some of Hollywood`s biggest stars are actually skeptical that this is the end of all of it. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT first broke the news that Jane Seymour thinks it`s not over yet. Watch what she told us.
SEYMOUR: Yes. And I heard about two more that somebody else knows about. And I`ve even met someone that knows him well. So I feel sorry for the kids.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Jane Seymour seems to think she has the inside track. And look, quite frankly, there`s no evidence that there are any more love children out there. And quite frankly, I also hate the term "love children."
I think all children are obviously born from love, but that`s what we call them. But Michael, if it did turn out to be true that there were, in fact, other children from Arnold Schwarzenegger, not with Maria Shriver, would that be such a shocker at this point?
BILLY: It`s not a shocker. First of all, when did Jane Seymour become this wash woman hanging outside (INAUDIBLE)? Let me tell you by the way. So I mean, if we find out there`s more kids - look, that may be true.
I`m not surprised. I wasn`t surprised with John Edwards. People in power, especially politicians, they get so built up with such power that they feel they can do anything, live double lives. Nothing can hurt them or harm them. So I`m not shocked at all.
HAMMER: Let me tell you something though, and this is not true of all Hollywood celebrities. Some of them are the biggest gossips out there. I mean, really, you overhear some of the conversations that I`ve heard and, boy (INAUDIBLE).
(CROSS TALK)
Look, Arnold Schwarzenegger`s image is bad enough without another possible scandal. And this weekend on the big season finale of "Saturday Night Live," Arnold was literally a huge joke. Seth Meyers just had a field day. You`ve got to see this.
SETH MEYERS, CAST MEMBER, "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE": I can`t help but notice every one of your movie makes a perfect "New York Post" headline for this story. "Junior," "Twins," "True Lies," "Predator," "Judgment Day," "Collateral Damage" and "Raw Deal." (INAUDIBLE) action comedy, "Gov. Horn Dog."
And you brought the maid on vacation with your family. Really? That`s a little suspicious, isn`t it? Hotels already have maids. That`s like bringing weed to Amsterdam.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Look at what`s going on there, Dawn. And this is just the beginning. Is Arnold really now a hopeless joke?
YANEK: Oh, absolutely. This will go on for years to come. I mean, he made a very public stumble. He`s a public figure. But can his career recover? At some point - yes, he`s an actor. It probably will at some point. Thank god he`s not doing anymore, you know, governor stuff.
HAMMER: Yes. And it`s going to take some time, I think, before that happens.
YANEK: Yes.
HAMMER: And that "Saturday Night Live" finale was huge. It wasn`t just about Arnold Schwarzenegger, by the way. Justin Timberlake was the host. Lady Gaga killed it on the show, not just singing, too.
Her new album "Born This Way" just came out today. But who knew she was so good at comedy. Look at this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Oh, my god! Oh, my god! Let me talk to him. Let me talk to him. Looking at her. She hits floor. She hit the floor.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Do we have to stop it there? Oh, come on. Let`s watch some more. Seriously, though, she was amazing. I thought she was so dynamic. And quite frankly, it wasn`t just that one skit.
If you didn`t see the show, she was on all over the place and she just killed it. I want to see her do more comedy now. Wouldn`t that be great?
BILLY: She was hysterical. Look, bottom line, "SNL" kicked butt the other night. It is back. Lady Gaga, fantastic. She has a background in musical theater. That`s the makings for great comedy. She was wonderful. J.T., fantastic.
HAMMER: And a smart move for her to go out and do this.
BILLY: Yes.
HAMMER: I mean, don`t you think? Look, we`ve gotten to know Gaga quite a bit in a very intense amount of time. I don`t know about you. I love the HBO documentary. We saw a different side of her.
We saw her crying on that, but we saw her creating and making a lot of laughs on "Saturday Night Live." What do you think? More comedy for Lady Gaga down the line?
YANEK: Oh, absolutely. She actually revealed on "The View" that she might be in talks to host "SNL" for next season. So I think we actually may be seeing her do some more of this.
And it`s awesome because she doesn`t take herself so seriously. She knows how to put on a good show and have a great time. And I cannot wait to see more it.
HAMMER: Yes. And she generates a whole lot more fans, again, for all the right reasons. We talked about her empowering her fans all the time. And I think, you know, putting herself out there with another side of her talent is just a smart, smart move. Anytime, she can do it.
BILLY: Absolutely. Absolutely.
HAMMER: There`s more big Lady Gaga news breaking tonight. Lady Gaga just spoke out today for the very first time about that emotional meltdown that we saw on her HBO documentary, all about her concert at Madison Square Garden. Let`s watch that moment again.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LADY GAGA, POP STAR: I have to pick myself up and I have to tell myself I`m a superstar every morning so that I can get through this day and be for my fans what they need for me to be.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So what did Lady Gaga say today about why she, who "Forbes" just named the most powerful celebrity in the world, why she feels like a loser? Michael, Dawn, stay right where you are.
Well, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT farewell to Oprah continues. Tonight, we`re going one-on-one with Dr. Phil about how Oprah gave him his own show.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MCGRAW: I was walking by her office one day at Harpo Studios between shows. And it was kind like, "Hey, dummy. Come in here. It`s time. It`s time to do your own show."
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: It`s the not-to-be-missed SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview with Dr. Phil. That is next.
Justin Bieber sealed it with a kiss. Bieber kissed his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. This was the very first time we`ve seen this happen in public. It is something you have got to see to believe. Get it? That`s coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
TEXT: "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequel opens $346.4 million worldwide - 4th best of all time.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MADONNA, POP STAR: She fights for things she believes in even if it makes her unpopular. I have learned so much from her.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LADY GAGA: I do sometimes feel like a loser still, you know. It`s crazy because we like at the Garden but I still sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: That`s Lady Gaga right there, the woman just named the most powerful celebrity on the planet by "Forbes" magazine calling herself a loser in a blockbuster concert tour documentary on HBO.
Well, today, Gaga shocked the ladies of "The View" with more true confessions. But it`s what she didn`t say that`s got everyone talking tonight.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Gaga`s meltdown revealed. Gaga really shocked a lot of people by showing her normal side in that HBO special about her life and music. I thought it was just terrific.
And this morning, during Gaga`s very first appearance on "The View," Barbara Walters asked the question we`re all wondering, how in the world could Lady Gaga possibly feel that way about herself?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You are the biggest success and you feel like a loser?
LADY GAGA: Well, you know, I think that some of the residual wounds and things from high school, from being bullied and feeling not good enough - I think it stays with you your whole life.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: We are back with TV and radio host Michael Billy and Dawn Yanek, the editor at large of "Life and Style Weekly." So here we are, it`s only Monday, Lady Gaga having the best week ever.
She killed on "SNL." Her new album released today is set to break all kinds of records. I`m sure it will. But Michael, what does that say to you about Lady Gaga that she is still struggling so deeply with her past?
BILLY: I think it`s very true. And it`s a wonderful position as a role model, because, you know, her whole thing is to live, you know, the whole - she`s rock star. She`s fabulous. She`s total pop culture.
But then, there`s a reality to that that a lot of us were bullied as kids, that we did come from an uncomfortable place. And although we have those feelings, live a great positive, fabulous life. That`s fantastic.
HAMMER: Yes. I just - I do hope that sometime, she`ll be able to reconcile it all and really not feel that way anymore and see what she`s achieved and, more importantly, how she`s helping other people.
Look, the thing that struck me the most this morning on "The View" was watching how absolutely normal Lady Gaga seemed. I think we saw some of that in her documentary as well.
You saw Barbara Walters giddy as a school girl calling Lady Gaga her own daughter. I mean, Dawn, does that make Lady Gaga even kind of a bit cooler?
YANEK: Oh, absolutely. I think it`s the duality of Lady Gaga that makes her so incredibly awesome. She has this over-the-top persona on stage. She`s has this crazy out there fashion. But then, in real life, she`s normal. She`s respectful, and she`s just kind of a cool chick we all kind of would want to hang out with.
HAMMER: And to be clear, Barbara said, "You`re like my other daughter." But then, Barbara realized, "I don`t mean to upset my real daughter." But that was a pretty cool moment.
BILLY: Well, come on. You can be Lady Gaga. But no matter how crazy you are, when you go visit grandma, you dress up and you act normal. I think that really what was (INAUDIBLE).
HAMMER: Yes. That`s exactly what was going on. All right. Michael Billy, Dawn Yanek, great. Thanks as always.
Well, I had mentioned that "Forbes" just named Lady Gaga the most powerful celebrity on the planet, more powerful than the great Oprah Winfrey.
But that does not mean Lady O has lost the golden touch. Oh, no. Oprah`s last show is on Wednesday. So many people have so much to thank her for.
And especially, very high on that list, Dr. Phil. He, of course, went from Oprah`s legal team consultant during her infamous beef trial to a household name when he started appearing on "The Oprah Show" back in the 1990s.
But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Oprah`s golden touch almost didn`t work on Dr. Phil. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter spoke with Dr. Phil for a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview.
Kareen joins us from Hollywood tonight with Dr. Phil`s mind-boggling new revelation. Kareen, what did Dr. Phil tell you?
KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Oh, my gosh, A.J., so much more than I imagined. I wanted to know from Dr. Phil what it was like to have Oprah launch his big TV career. And he revealed to me that Oprah Winfrey had to twist - that`s right, twist his arm to jump start his talk show.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(on camera) She saw something extra special in you, Dr. Phil. You were a guest on her show for many, many years before we knew who Dr. Phil was.
But take me back to that moment when you got that call that you`d be getting your own show.
MCGRAW: Well, you know, it wasn`t a call actually. I would go up on Tuesdays. And we would do one or two shows every Tuesday because I was on Tuesdays on Oprah for a long time.
And she had always told me - she said, "If you ever want to do your own show, let me know because we`ll do it. You don`t need to go to any of the networks or anything. We`ll do it. Just let me know."
And I said OK, and that was during our first year. And I didn`t say anything the first year, the second year, the third year and it came the fourth year -
WYNTER: Why did you wait that long?
MCGRAW: I loved what I was doing and I loved doing the Oprah show. And I was walking by her office one day at Harpo Studios between shows. And it was kind of like, "Hey, dummy. Come in here. It`s time. It`s time to do your own show. You have more to say than a day a week covers. It`s time to do your own show. What do you think?"
And I said, "Sounds great. Let`s do it." And we started the planning from that point. Put yourself in my shoes for a minute. You`re 50 years old and somebody comes and says, "How would you like to have your own national/international platform and you can talk about anything you want to talk about?"
I was like, "OK, you talked me into it." So it was a great day, you know, that I guess as the old saying goes, the rest is history.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes. The rest is history. And of course, we`re just days away from Oprah going into the history books herself. Kareen, I know you`re going to be in Chicago for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT this Wednesday for Oprah`s very last show.
And of course, you were there for the tapings of two of the last three Oprah shows at the United Center in Chicago. The first show aired today. I want to know what your favorite moment was.
WYNTER: Well, A.J., I have to say I loved watching Oprah, her big reaction to really all of the big stars who came to wish her well, huge stars like Tom Hanks who kicked things off. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HANKS: Oprah Winfrey, today, you are surrounded by nothing but love.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Wow. Listen to the roar of the crowd in the background. It`s phenomenal. So Kareen, today`s show, a total surprise. But is that true that she`s actually going to surprise all of us on Wednesday with some top secret show or something?
WYNTER: You bet. And guess what? Oprah - she is producing the final show herself. We know she`s doing that with her E.P., her executive producer. It`s so top secret, A.J., we don`t know if it`s going to be live or it`s going to be taped.
What I can tell you, though, is that Oprah - she wants to go out with a bang, and I personally cannot wait.
HAMMER: Me neither. Thanks a lot, Kareen. Remember, on Wednesday, that`s Oprah`s last day on the air. We are doing a blowout SHOWBIZ special event, not to be missed. A full hour on Oprah`s final farewell right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, exclusively at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on HLN.
Bieber seals it with a kiss. Justin Bieber kisses Selena Gomez for the very first time in public. This was on live TV. You`ve got to see it, next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
It is time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
TEXT: Russell Brand deported from Japan for prior offenses while visiting Katy Perry. Jack Black talks about possibility of "Kung Fu Panda 3" movie.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JACK BLACK, ACTOR: As long as people love the movie and want to see more, then I`m on board. I love doing these movies. Po has been a really great character for me. It`s perfect fit. Yes, keep it coming.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Well, it`s been compared to a pretzel, a prawn, a toilet bowl, and, my personal favorite, an octopus in attack mode.
But today, the high-lying headgear Princess Beatrice wore to the royal wedding just raked in about $131,000. This thing was auctioned off on eBay. The money went to a children`s charity. So hats off to Princess Beatrice.
Well, Justin Bieber kisses Selena Gomez on the lips. It`s the big Bieber TV kiss that has Beliebers in disbelief. Angelina Jolie reveals how her kids helped her prep for "Kung Fu Panda 2." And Lindsay Lohan`s revealing new interview in "The Buzz Today."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over) Lindsay unplugged. Lindsay Lohan has just broken her silence in a new, no-holds-barred interview on an Australian radio show.
Skyping with the "Kyle and Jackie O. Show" on 2DayFM in Sydney, Lohan let loose on everything, including her sexuality, her career future and how she`s handling house arrest. And Lindsay unleashed on critics who blasted the body-conscious dress she wore to court.
LINDSAY LOHAN, ACTRESS: It was like inappropriate for court. You wouldn`t say that to a hooker coming into court, that it`s inappropriate. It`s not her fault. That`s all she has. I love fashion but I wasn`t wearing that to - I wanted to just go to court and get court over with.
Brangelina`s kung fu crew. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there on the red carpet with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who brought some of their brood to the Hollywood premiere of Angie`s latest flick, "Kung Fu Panda 2."
ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS: They`re here. They`re waiting for us inside.
HAMMER: Angelina revealed the kids helped her get into her tigress character.
JOLIE: They come. They watch me. And then, you know, you get shy as an adult. You do the voice over and you`re trying to do the kung fu sounds. And then when you watch your kids in the other room and they start laughing. And suddenly, I turn into Jack Black and start jumping around. And it just that family fun, and it`s great.
HAMMER: Bieber`s big Selena smooch. Justin Bieber has just publicly planted a huge kiss on Selena Gomez. Moments after winning a Billboard Music Award, Justin lip-locked with Selena before heading up to the stage. Now, if you`re keeping track, that`s the first official PDA for the two who are widely reported to be a couple.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: Let us please avoid the Selena Gomez backlash, please. All right. Let`s move on now to Hillary Swank`s cancer mission. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT right there with Hillary Swank in New York City as the Oscar winner unveiled a preview of her terrific new documentary with the American Cancer Society. It`s called "Choose You."
Swank executive-produced the film and she told us why she decided to do it.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HILLARY SWANK, ACTRESS: Unfortunately, cancer is very prevalent in my family. And now that I know the statistics of one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime - now, I understand. It`s a harrowing statistic really.
The American Cancer Society asked, you know, me to be a part of producing this. I jumped at the opportunity. It`s something that, you know, you can`t get it out enough.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Hillary`s documentary debuts on June 23rd at "ChooseYou.com." Definitely check it out. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT now seen exclusively Monday through Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
