A.J. HAMMER, HOST: Tonight, Casey Anthony, CSI. Could shows like "CSI" lead to Casey Anthony beating the rap on charges that she killed her two- year-old daughter? I`m A.J. Hammer. This is on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Big news breaking tonight -- porn again? Disturbing new details tonight about Anthony Weiner`s reported porn star connection. Is Weiner just like Tiger Woods and Jesse James? Plus, Donald Trump`s startling attack on Weiner.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, BUSINESS TYCOON: The fact is, Anthony Weiner is a bad guy. He`s a psycho.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ breaks news. No Frenchy kiss for "American Idol." Why former contestant Frenchy Davis is telling us her new show, "The Voice," is so much better.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

FRENCHY DAVIS, FORMER "AMERICAN IDOL" CONTESTANT: They`re not just judges. They`re coaching us. And so it`s not like, you know, when Simon sits there with his arms crossed and tells you, you suck.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So what does "Voice" host, Carson Daly, say about that? We`ll ask him tonight in a headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. Confessions from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Adrienne Maloof. Her behind-the-scenes revelations.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.

(MUSIC)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City. And here`s a wild possibility -- could TV shows like "CSI" actually lead to Casey Anthony being acquitted on charges she killed her child? In just a moment, I`m going to show you why that may not be so far fetched.

But first, porn again? Yes, porn again because Anthony Weiner may have been worshipping a porn star, just like Charlie Sheen did, just like Tiger Woods did, just like Jesse James did.

There were startling new revelations today about a porn star, the sexting congressman may have been getting a cheap thrill with online. And tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that just like Charlie and Tiger and Jesse, a porn star connection may only add to the fall of the once high and mighty.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REP. ANTHONY WEINER (D-NY): This was a very dumb thing to do.

HAMMER (voice-over): You can say that again, Weiner.

WEINER: A very dumb thing to do.

HAMMER: If you thought that tweeting a naughty underwear photo of yourself and then lying about it was bad, well, today, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you yet another installment of "Stupid Weiner Tricks."

"TMZ" reports today it seems Weiner has got a porn star friend, who he may have been counseling in a great big cover-up on the government dime. It`s a connection that he conveniently forgot to mention at his big apologetic press conference.

WEINER: I came here to accept full responsibility for what I`ve done.

HAMMER: Yes, not quite.

JO PIAZZA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: At the intersection of all of these scandals, there`s a porn star lying in wait.

HAMMER: Weiner`s reported porn star in wait, the lovely Ginger Lee. Ginger tells "TMZ" that the two exchanged sexually-explicit E-mails and texts for some time.

PIAZZA: Anytime you have porn star, a scandal goes from here to here.

HAMMER: "TMZ" reports Weiner may have coached his porn friend with some kindly advice.

PIAZZA: He offered advice on how she could lie to the press, evade the press, charm the press. He actually told her to throw in a little bit of a Texan drawl to make herself seem more endearing and I suppose probably less skanky.

HAMMER: In this online video from "Girls on Machines," Ginger Lee gives an enlightening interview about her now-infamous accent.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you surprise a lot of people out here in California with your accent?

GINGER LEE, PORN STAR: It confuses a lot of people, especially if we`re at certain (INAUDIBLE) and they go, "huh?" Like --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Like what are yours?

LEE: Coke.

HAMMER: And worst of all, it seems that Weiner may have offered up members of his Congressional staff to help Ginger Lee out of this political pickle. He even reportedly drafted a statement for her. Come on, Weiner. Seriously?

PIAZZA: Frankly, if he`s been using Congressional funds and Congressional staff to try to cover up his kinky behavior, that`s a big problem.

HAMMER: "TMZ" says that Weiner wrote to his lady in porning, quote, "The key is to have a short, thought-out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it. Have a couple of iterations of, `This is silly.`"

"Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don`t know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a DM saying, `Thank you for the follow.` That`s it." It`s a pretty bombastic revelation.

PIAZZA: I think we can absolutely say that Weiner is of the same caliber of a lot of the high-profile celebrity men that we`ve seen involved in sex scandals.

HAMMER: Men like Charlie Sheen, like Jesse James, like Tiger Woods may have a new member of their elite and porn-based club.

TRUMP: Anthony Weiner is a bad guy.

HAMMER: Yes, even Donald Trump is all aboard the Weiner bashing bandwagon.

TRUMP: He`s a psycho.

HAMMER: Donald was so outraged. In fact, he grabbed a video camera and taped his own anti-Weiner rant, which was posted today on YouTube.

TRUMP: He`s a liar. He should never, ever be allowed to run for office again.

HAMMER: So Anthony`s latest shenanigans may have given us all a peek behind the political curtain.

PIAZZA: I think it is absolutely safe to say that we should give the distinguished Congressman the Weiner of the Year Award.

HAMMER: Congratulations, sir.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Well, it`s looking like Weiner, like all of rest of the celebs tied to porn stars may not be able to weasel his way out of this mess.

Someone who has certainly witnessed more celebrity falls from grace than I can possibly count and interviewed a whole lot of celebrities, the great Larry King. In Larry`s fascinating new book "Truth Be Told" -- at least somebody`s telling the truth, Larry -- the truth these days, Larry has some remarkable revelations about many of those disgraced stars.

Larry`s conducted 50,000 interviews -- you heard me right -- 50,000 over the years, so many of them on his legendary show on CNN, "LARRY KING LIVE." Larry with me in New York tonight for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. So great to see you, my friend.

LARRY KING, FORMER HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": A.J. --

HAMMER: This book is amazing. We`ll get to this in a second.

KING: I`m glad you like it.

HAMMER: Let`s talk Weiner. I never thought I`d say that to Larry King, but there I go. We learned today Anthony Weiner may have counseled that porn star pal of his on how to lie about their relationship.

Here`s the kicker to me -- there are reports out there he may have offered her access to his own government PR team. Today, "TMZ" reported in an E-mail to her, this is what he wrote.

This blows me away, "Do you need to talk to a professional PR person to give you advice? I can have someone from my team call you."

Look, we all know it`s a matter of fact sex can make men stupid. But to send an E-mail about how to cover up your sexting affair, send an E- mail, that has got to be one of the dumbest things I`ve heard in a long time.

Why do they think that this is OK or that this is not going to get out there, Larry?

KING: To me, it`s the most (INAUDIBLE) because he`s a very bright guy.

HAMMER: Clearly --

KING: And he`s a hard-working Congressman. He`s very vibrant. You know, you see him on the House floor. He`s really into it. I think he probably would have been mayor.

I think that`s eliminated now and I don`t think -- I think eventually he will decide to drop out of Congress. They`re starting an ethics investigation.

But he could have handled this. Once a story breaks that you know is true -- now, you`re Anthony Weiner. A story breaks. You know it`s true. You know other things are coming, nip it in the bud.

HAMMER: Yes.

KING: You go on television, go here, go there, call a press conference and you say -- you look at the camera and say, "I have made -- look, I thought I`d never have to discuss this. For three years have I been having this problem and I`m seeking counsel."

"And so, yes, I did do it. I did other things. I regret it. I`ve apologized. I hope my marriage works out. I`m doing my best to straighten it out. And I hope you give me some privacy as I try to work my problems out. Thank you." Now what do you ask him after that?

HAMMER: Yes. There`s not a whole lot.

KING: Not a whole -- take away the whole lot.

HAMMER: If you don`t mind, I`m going to hold on to that piece of tape in case you ever find yourself in trouble. I`ll just roll that out for you. You give me a call.

KING: Keep it up, A.J. Keep it up.

HAMMER: All right. But listen, another one of Weiner`s sexting pals --

KING: I shouldn`t have looked at the camera that way. It wasn`t me.

HAMMER: I got you now. I got you now, man! Vegas Blackjack dealer, Lisa Weiss has reportedly mailed off an apology letter to Anthony Weiner`s wife. This also really surprised me.

Here`s what she wrote, "I want to express my deepest apologies for conversing with your husband, Anthony Weiner. I honestly meant no harm and I can hope that you and Anthony can work through all this. I still remain a huge supporter."

Look, I think everybody involved in the scandal, Larry, obviously wants to absolve themselves, purge their guilt. But I don`t think you really want to send a high-profile person like this a letter like that.

KING: No. I think they`re all caught in a world here. They`re caught in turmoil. I`m embarrassed for them. For example, if he wasn`t an elected official, I`d absolutely think it`s none of our business.

But I`ve always felt that way. The personal lives, the private lives of figures -- I know this would destroy you, A.J. -- are none of our business, unless you`re elected by people. He`s paid by the people --

HAMMER: Yes.

KING: Therefore he has a right to judgment.

HAMMER: But then -- yes. And what you`re saying --

KING: But a movie actor is not paid by the people.

HAMMER: Once you start lying repeatedly about it, though, that just, you know, adds fuel to the fire. You are telling the truth and I`m happy about that, Larry, in this amazing book.

I was telling you before we got started, I can`t put it down. You spoke with another person among the many in your career that got caught up in perhaps one of the most famous sex scandals of all, Monica Lewinsky. Did she shed any light on why these powerful men do these types of things?

KING: No, she did not. She was attracted to him. He was attracted to her. I think she was too young to philosophize on this. I don`t think we know.

I watch psychologists speak and I`m impressed a little, but they`re all guessing. You have to examine him, find out what drives him.

I was talking to somebody today, is this only powerful people who do this? Are only people with power or prestige or influence who do it? Or does a bus driver in Des Moines do it? Does an insurance man in New Haven do it? What do you think?

HAMMER: Yes.

KING: I don`t know.

HAMMER: I think everybody does it, but there is something about that personality type as it repeats itself time after time where people are doing this in these high profile positions and thinking they can get away with it.

KING: I can`t tell them what to do, but if I were in that boat, I`d resign.

HAMMER: Well, Larry, no one has covered more high-profile court cases than you. You know, you were there for O.J., Laci Peterson, every other historic murder trial in the last quarter century.

Got to get Larry King`s take on the Casey Anthony trial, the biggest one going on right now. So please stay right where you are.

KING: OK, I`ll stay, A.J.

HAMMER: And as we move on tonight -- SHOWBIZ breaks news. No Frenchy kiss for "American Idol." We`re going to tell you why former "Idol" contestant, Frenchy Davis, is telling us her new show, "The Voice," is so much better.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVIS: They`re not just judges, but they`re coaching us. And so it`s not like, you know, when Simon sits there with his arms crossed and tells you, you suck.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So what does the host of "The Voice," Carson Daly, say about that? We will ask him tonight in the headline-making SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Plus, Carson on Eminem dissing Lady Gaga.

A SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, confessions of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Adrienne Maloof.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Beverly Hills housewife, Adrienne Maloof, has it all. Maloof welcomed SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to her exclusive estate. And she`s opening up about family, business and housewife drama.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And don`t housewives and drama always go together? Adrienne`s behind-the-scenes revelations. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

And now the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

LAURENCE FISHBURNE, ACTOR: Hold (INAUDIBLE). It`s called a lateral vascular hold. The discomfort you`re feeling is like working (INAUDIBLE), constricting your airway, cutting off the oxygen to your brain.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Say goodbye to Lawrence Fishburne on "CSI." After two-and-a-half seasons, Fishburne, who has played Dr. Raymond Langston, is out. His contract expired after May`s season finale.

Fishburne actually told "Entertainment Weekly" he wanted to stay on, but ratings for "CSI" have been dropping. And how`s this for a "CSI" spin- off -- "CSI: Casey Anthony"?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And I`ve got to say the Casey Anthony trial has been just about as dramatic as anything we see on "CSI." And there has been this insatiable appetite for the live coverage every afternoon right here on HLN.

And tonight, there`s actually speculation that because of shows like "CSI," Casey Anthony could actually be acquitted of the charges that she killed her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Back with me for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, I`m always thrilled to have Larry King here. Larry`s fascinating new book is called "Truth Be Told."

One of the most mind-boggling facts about this case is the lack of direct evidence proving Casey Anthony had anything to do with her daughter`s mysterious death. There`s only been circumstantial evidence so far, the hair fond in her car, the odor in her car the prosecutors claim is the stench of death.

Shows like "CSI" have now ingrained in people`s heads you got have hard proof like DNA. Larry, is it too far fetched that the jurors may be thinking the same thing and because of the "CSI" effect, she actually could get acquitted here?

KING: Of course. Most cases, by the way don`t have direct evidence. Most cases don`t have eyewitnesses. Most cases are circumstantial, right? O.J.`s was circumstantial. I mean, he was acquitted.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Absolutely.

KING: And it looked like he did it. He was acquitted. What we haven`t heard yet is the attack, the defense side. This is the prosecution side of the case. There is a defense side.

And I was raised to assume that you`re innocent until proven guilty. So unlike a lot of these shows, they found her guilty already. I don`t know. I have to learn more about it from both sides.

What I wonder about most and maybe you could answer this better because you`re at the hub of this, why is this a big story?

HAMMER: Well, there`s so many levels of fascination from, you know, the young girl, from the accusations of all the lying that`s going on. I think it`s a pretty heavily stacked --

KING: There`s no other murder case going on in America now? No child is killed?

HAMMER: This is the one that has us transfixed.

KING: How did we pick this one out?

HAMMER: You know?

KING: We don`t know.

HAMMER: No, we don`t know. But there are some people, Larry, who say, you know, this could be bigger than the O.J. trial. You were right there for all of those years in the O.J. trial.

KING: How could it be bigger? Of course, O.J. is the most famous person ever charged with murder, I think. Maybe Aaron Burr. I don`t know. Why would this be bigger than O.J.?

HAMMER: Yes. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but again, the interest has been staggering. The fascination is unending.

KING: But television shows can affect it. "CSI" and people like that, because the public watches it. And now, they`re in juries and they say, "Hey, I didn`t buy that evidence. You didn`t show me this."

HAMMER: Great seeing you, Larry King.

KING: I`m glad you like the book.

HAMMER: This book is riveting. Make sure you pick it up. It`s called "Truth Be Told." I also want to remind you to keep watching HLN for continuing coverage of the latest developments in the Casey Anthony trial every day.

Moving on, did you see this? Khloe Kardashian`s nip slip on live TV. There I said it. Is Khloe embarrassed about this?

Also, shocking news tonight from Lady Gaga. I`m sorry to say it`s not good news. Why she may be in big trouble. "The Voice" host, Carson Daly, right here in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview. What he thinks about Eminem calling Lady Gaga a man.

And this --

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JILL SIMONIAN, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: Cameron Diaz, I`m imagining, sometimes has a little bit of a foul mouth.

CAMERON DIAZ, ACTRESS: Oh, yes, definitely.

HAMMER: Yes, I bet this car washed raised a whole lot of money. Cameron Diaz doing her best `80s Hair Band, "Hot Woman on a Car" impression.

This is in her new movie "Bad Teacher." Tonight, in the SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, Cameron Diaz reveals she`s got a bad mouth.

I absolutely love Cammie D. And in "Bad Teacher" she plays as very inappropriate school teacher, a bad girl. In real life, there have been reports of Cameron being a kind of bad girl, too.

So we of course had to find out, was that whole bad teacher thing really a stretch for Cameron? We know one way Cammie D. and her character are alike. They`re potty mouths. Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Jill Simonian with the SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SIMONIAN: All right. Bad teacher -- bad, bad, bad girl in this in the best way possible.

DIAZ: It was fun.

SIMONIAN: It was fun I love the way Elizabeth, your character, is wildly inappropriate in every single way. How close or how far away is Elizabeth to the real Cameron?

DIAZ: Well, let`s talk reality here. We`ve got lightness. We`ve got darkness. These two things, happiness and sadness, fear and optimism -- these things all lay next to each other, right? They`re not separate.

SIMONIAN: Right.

DIAZ: You can`t have one without the other. Elizabeth, unfortunately, lives mostly in the dark side. Very rarely does she even straddle the line.

But I personally always -- I veer to the light a little bit more, not that I don`t have a dark side or that I don`t walk the line some days. But I am not the girl who sits on the dark side for months at a time.

SIMONIAN: Well, no. And fans of you -- I mean, none of us feel like you sit on the dark side, because you always have this open, free-spirited air about you.

But Cameron Diaz, I`m imagining, sometimes has a little bit of a foul mouth.

DIAZ: Oh, yes, definitely. I`ve definitely, you know, have to apologize, more often than not, for my language. I find myself -- it just comes out so easy and I`m always like, "Oh, god, Cameron. What are you doing?" Then I have to go, "I`m so sorry. I know my mouth is very foul. I`m sorry if I`ve offended you."

And people are like, "No, it`s OK. It`s cool." It`s human. It happens.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thanks to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Jill Simonian. "Bad Teacher" opens in theaters June 24th. And suddenly can`t get that song from Van Halen, "Hot for Teacher," out of my head. I`m not sure why.

Here`s what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City with big news breaking today -- no Frenchy kiss.

Yes, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT breaks news about a big smack-down between "The Voice" and "American Idol" sparked by Frenchy Davis who is competing on "The Voice" and was also on "Idol."

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Jill Simonian was right there backstage at "The Voice" last night. She spoke with Frenchy just after her big performance. Jill joining us tonight from Hollywood.

And Jill, I have to say, obviously, Frenchy has been a big part of "The Voice`s" success so far. But from what she told you, it seems to me she may have a little chip on her shoulder over "Idol." What exactly did she say?

SIMONIAN: Yes, you could say that, A.J., I guess. Frenchy was a top contender on season two of "American Idol." And of course, it turned out to be a big shock when she was disqualified from the show after topless photos of her surfaced.

Well, Frenchy is back now, strong on "The Voice." And when I spoke with her backstage last night, well, she told me "Idol`s" got nothing on "The Voice." Watch what she told me.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVIS: I can`t help but compare it to "Idol" because it`s a singing competition. But I mean, let be honest. It`s totally different, you know. I mean, first of all, everyone can sing, including our judges. That already makes a difference.

And then, they`re not just judges, but they`re coaching us. So it`s not like, you know, when Simon sits there with his arms crossed and tells you, you suck. It`s not someone -- because it`s difficult for an artist to take that kind criticism from someone who can`t sing.

But when an artist that you respect says, "Hey, I respect you as an artist, and here`s where I think you can grow and here`s how I think I can help do you that," that`s something totally different.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

SIMONIAN: Wow. Frenchy taking aim directly at Simon and, of course, some of the other judges who have been on "Idol" who don`t sing. Not mincing her words at all, A.J.

HAMMER: No. And it appears the battle has only just begun. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Jill Simonian. Thanks so much, Jill.

Well, we`d love to know what the host of "The Voice," Carson Daly, thinks about what Frenchy told us. Wouldn`t it be great if Carson was actually here? Can we do something about that?

Oh, look at that. How about that? Carson Daly right there. I love how things sometimes work out. Carson with us tonight for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.

Great to see you, my friend. And again, massive congratulations to you on the huge success of "The Voice." We`re all thrilled for you.

CARSON DALY, HOST, "THE VOICE": Well, thank you so much, A.J. I appreciate it. Coming from you, that means a lot. We had a lot of fun last night. And it`s been a wild ride, to say the least.

HAMMER: Well, let`s talk about what Frenchy told us. I really think she makes a fair point. You know, when she was a contestant on "Idol" back in 2003, two of the "Idol" judges, Simon and Randy, weren`t singers, but all four of the coaches on "The Voice" are.

And big stars, too. I think this is one of the things that makes the show so great -- Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton -- huge stars. So Carson, does Frenchy have a point? Do you really need to be a singer to judge a singer?

DALY: Well, listen, A.J., one great point is this -- Frenchy`s the only one that can harbor this sort of opinion because she`s the only human being that`s ever been on both shows, "Idol" and "The Voice."

So she`s entitled to her opinion. She`s an artist. But furthermore, this is, you know, one of the founding big points of "The Voice." This is what we wanted do. We didn`t want to have judges. We wanted to have a mentorship in place.

We wanted to put four of the biggest current artists in music helping our young contestants out. And that`s what you`re getting. It`s a completely different experience. This is chiefly why "Idol" is so different than what we do at "The Voice."

HAMMER: Yes. I guess that`s a huge point, really. They are mentors. They`re not there to judge so much. And to be clear, the comparisons to "Idol" obviously don`t stop at the singing and the judging because, Carson, my friend, I`m here to tell you, you are also being dragged into this.

And you happen to be getting major kudos. So right now, you need to listen to what Blake Shelton told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT last night when we spoke to him backstage. Go for it, Blake.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BLAKE SHELTON, "THE VOICE" JUDGE: He`s a hell of a lot bigger than Ryan Seacrest. I don`t know popularity-wise, but I think as far as like man to man, I`m afraid of Carson.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`ve got to ask you. I`ve known you for some time. Exactly what does he have to be afraid of?

DALY: I don`t know. Blake`s a great guy. I`m afraid of him because he`s been telling me a lot of hunting stories recently, what he does back in Oklahoma.

He`s been one of the real highlights for me, and that`s nice. And by the way, Blake Sheldon is seven foot, four. So he`s bigger than both Ryan and I.

HAMMER: Well, there you go. And I love watching, not only you, but Christina Aguilera on "The Voice" this season. And wow, what a turn around for her.

We were talking about this when your show was first launched, because when she came into it, she was making headlines for everything, from her divorce to blowing a line of the "Star Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl, among other things.

And now, she`s got on-screen battles going on with her fellow voice mentors. Watch what Christina told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT last night when we caught up with her. Roll that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRISTINA AGUILERA, "THE VOICE" JUDGE: I`m getting one-two punched over here. And it`s like, you know, hold on, boys, quiet in the classroom.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I think Christina really seems to be holding her own with the boys on the show, Carson. And I think her gig on "The Voice" -- it has finally silenced everyone who was really giving her such a rough time leading up to that show. Is that how you see it?

DALY: Listen, A.J., I don`t think and I can`t speak for Christina or her camp. I don`t think she took this job to do damage control in the totality of her career or what`s happened in the previous 18 months.

But can I tell you this -- the girl shows up every day and brings 150 percent. I feel like sometimes I`m constantly defending her, but it`s just not needed. I mean, she brought her A game to it.

Adam, Cee-Lo, Blake, myself, Christina -- we all sat down before this production began and said, you know, we all want to be a part of making music, you know, credible and authentic at the network primetime level for the right reasons, to help these young people who are serious about making it into the music business, not just throwing cash at them, and really being along for this journey. She`s on board with that and she`s been awesome to work with.

HAMMER: Yes. And I agree with your point. I don`t think that`s why she took the gig for certain. But we all know how this business works and good press always helps when you`ve gotten bad press.

And so I`m happy to see how well she`s doing with the show. And I need to point out there`s also some history with you, Christina and Eminem. And I mention that because we just learned that Eminem goes after Lady Gaga in his upcoming single, "The Kiss."

And Carson, I`m guessing you still remember when Em decided to work you into a song, "The Real Slim Shady." But in case you`ve forgotten, my friend, let`s roll out the SHOWBIZ time machine and take a listen to that, please.

(MUSIC)

All right. That`s what Eminem rapped about you, Carson. Here`s what he`s rapping about Lady Gaga. He says, "Tell Gaga she can quit her job at the post office. She`s still a male lady."

That`s M-A-L-E, obviously referring to that ridiculous old rumor that Gaga was a hermaphrodite. I know that`s what we can expect from Eminem. But that`s kind of a low blow, isn`t it?

DALY: I don`t think so. I mean, listen, it`s Eminem. I mean, I`m a big fan. I think pop music gets really stale. When Gaga came on to the pop scene, she was a huge explosion. She made things exciting again.

If you`re Justin Bieber, if you`re Lady Gaga -- you know, back 10 years ago, the heyday of TRL(ph), we all got name-checked in Eminem`s songs. And it meant a good thing.

It`s almost like being on "SNL" or, you know, being in "The Simpsons." I mean, it just means that, you know, it can do wonders for your career, quite honestly. It`s an old -- the thing about Lady Gaga being a guy -- that`s a year-old rumor anyway. It`s a bit dated, but ultimately, Gaga`s not losing sleep over that.

HAMMER: I agree. It kind of reinforces her place in pop culture. And Lady Gaga easily has bigger problems these days that Eminem`s name- checking.

SHOWBIZ learned some news today about Gaga`s new album that she might not be thrilled to hear. Carson stay right there, please.

But right now, we`ve got to get to the inside scoop on the wildly popular reality TV Show, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Adrienne Maloof dishing about those infamous catfights and about her friend, Camille Grammer.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WYNTER (voice-over): Good things were happening on screen between housewife, Camille Grammer, and her famous hubby, Kelsey. But the couple has since split.

(on camera) You mentioned Camille. How is she doing through all of this?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, housewife confessions. We are at home with Adrienne as she tells all. And did you see this? Khloe Kardashian`s nip slip. Does Khloe even care? The new Kardashian controversy tonight is next.

HAMMER: Did you see this? Khloe Kardashian`s nip slip, live on Fox News. The wardrobe malfunction reportedly lasted four full minutes, which was a shock to everyone, including a very proud Khloe, who tweeted this, "I had a nip slip and I loved it. My mom just called me saying my nip slip is all over the Internet."

Well, Khloe later apologized, sort of, on her Web site where she said that she knew she should have worn a bra, but she wishes Americans were more like Europeans when is it came to nudity.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Right now, housewife confessions.

Tonight, in a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, we`re going inside the ultra plush mansion of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Adrienne Maloof. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter getting all cozy with Adrienne and getting her to reveal never-before-heard "Housewives" secrets about catfights, Camille Grammer and what to expect on season two.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

WYNTER (voice-over): Beverly Hills housewife, Adrienne Maloof, has it all. A successful, caring husband --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Happy anniversary.

WYNTER: A multimillion-dollar family business.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My brother.

WYNTER: A 20,000 square foot mansion and, of course, a hit reality show.

ADRIENNE MALOOF, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": Money is what I have, not who I am.

WYNTER: And with season one of Bravo`s "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" behind her, Maloof welcomed SHOWBIZ TONIGHT to her exclusive estate. And she`s opening up about family, business and housewife drama.

(on camera) So you had the fame, the power, of course, before the reality world came calling. Why did you want to do that?

MALOOF: I actually had to think pretty hard about it, you know, having the cameras around my life the whole time and getting that personal. But again, I realize at the end of the day, I`m a business woman and what an amazing platform.

WYNTER (voice-over): A platform that`s given audiences a front row seat to the lavish lifestyles of some of reality TV`s wealthiest women and all of their glamorous and not-so-glamorous moments.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You need to stand up and stop. You need to stand up to me.

WYNTER (on camera): You`re kind of like the peacemaker. Do you hear that a lot?

MALOOF: I do hear that I`m the voice of reason. I think, growing up with four brothers, I`ve been very tough and I had to train myself. When you`re in big business and family business, to be able to get along, you have to figure out at the end of the day how you`re going to make it work.

So I think years are being trained in a family business has helped me with the show to be the peacekeeper. You`re going to have drama and you`re going to different opinions and that`s life.

WYNTER (voice-over): And there`s perhaps no drama more intense on the show than between feuding siblings Kyle and Kim Richards.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You are an alcoholic. Yes, that`s right. That`s right. I`ve said it now and everybody knows.

WYNTER (on camera): That last episode was really hard to watch. Was that hard for you to take in as well?

MALOOF: That, I have to say, was one of the most difficult times I`ve ever experienced in my life. I`m stuck in the middle trying to really be the peacekeeper. Kyle and Kim have their issues. It was a struggle for me because I`m so close to my family and I really tried to help them through that.

WYNTER: How is Kim dealing just on a personal level? You know, she entered a rehab.

MALOOF: She has the support of her family, her friends, of course, and overall, I think she`s in a better place. Life is difficult. She was a childhood actress and that makes it tough. I think with a great support system and the will, you know, good things happen.

WYNTER (voice-over): Good things were happening on screen between housewife, Camille Grammer, and her famous hubby Kelsey. But the couple has since split and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you they`re in the middle of a bitter custody battle.

(on camera) You mentioned Camille. How is she doing through all of this?

MALOOF: She has her ups and downs, but I think, overall, she`s a very strong woman. I think she`s handled it with as much grace as she can.

WYNTER (voice-over): In the midst of all the conflict, there is still room for some comic relief, usually courtesy of Adrienne and her hubby, Dr. Paul Nassif.

MALOOF: Do you like this?

DR. PAUL NASSIF, HUSBAND OF ADRIENNE MALOOF: That I don`t like.

MALOOF: I like it.

WYNTER (on camera): I`m sure viewers love the dynamic between you and Paul. And sometimes, you guys go at it.

MALOOF: Oh, we do.

WYNTER: What`s your relationship really like?

MALOOF: Our line of communication is to try to talk about it, get it out and over with. A little bit of bickering -- yes, we do that. I have to think of it being very real. A lot of couples do, do that.

WYNTER (voice-over): So the question is, is there room for more reality TV in Maloof`s future?

(on camera) We`re dying to know, what can we expect in season two?

MALOOF: Well, obviously, season one -- extremely successful. As far as who is coming back, you`ll just have to stay tuned.

WYNTER: Thanks for the cliffhanger, Adrienne. But come on, who can pass on being a part of all the juicy drama that comes with being a real Beverly Hills housewife.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Our thanks to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. Adrienne is keeping mum about the newest "Housewives" season. But "People" magazine reports Brandi Glanville, Eddie Cibrian`s ex-wife -- she will be joining the cast.

Let the drama begin. And speaking of drama, one of our favorite stars is leaving one of the most popular drama`s on TV.

Also, Flavor Flav`s most outrageous habit. Wait until you hear the staggering amount he spends on drugs. And Selena scorned? Is Selena Gomez slamming her ex in her new song? That story tops "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Selena scorned? Selena Gomez has just released her brand-new song. And she seems to be majorly dissing Nick Jonas.

In the single, "Bang, Bang, Bang," Gomez bashes an ex big time, an apparent reference to Nick, and gushes over her current better beau, presumably Justin Bieber. Check out some of Selena`s not-so-subtle lyrics.

Fishburne finished. Laurence Fishburne has just reportedly said goodbye to "CSI." "Deadline.com" is revealing Fishburne`s "CSI" contract expired at the end of this past season and is not being renewed.

Fishburne landed on the hit show to replace original star, William Peterson, who left in December 2008. No word yet on what happens to his character, Dr. Ray Langston.

Flavor Flav`s outrageous drug bill. Flavor Flav has just confessed in his new memoir to spending an unbelievable $2,600 on drugs every single day for six years.

And in a new interview with "PopEater.com," the rapper, real name William Drayton, admitted his addiction totaled close to $5.7 million spent on drugs alone during that time span.

Flav credits moving out of New York and away from his old friends in 2003 with helping him stay clean.

HAMMER: Moving on to Lady Gaga`s major slide. Gaga`s album sales fall off a cliff after making history in the first week. Is she in trouble?

The host of "The Voice," Carson Daly is back and he`s got a whole lot to say about that. Carson goes Gaga. The SHOWBIZ final word, next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views with the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany welcome a baby girl, Agnes Lark. First Lady Michelle Obama to appear on "iCarly."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I can tie my own shoes without even thinking about it.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: We`ve already decided who we`re going to hire.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: We sure have. Congratulations.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: So is Lady Gaga in big trouble? Brand-new evidence today that Lady Gaga`s album may not be born to sell.

Now, check this out. "Born This Way" went gang buster when it debut last week. Over 1.1 million copies were sold. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has just learned that this week, only 174,000 copies sold.

So exactly what the heck is going on here? Well, who better to ask than SHOWBIZ newsmaker Carson Daly who hosts, of course, the hit NBC show "The Voice." I should add, the massive hit.

All right. Let`s talk Gaga, Carson. Obviously, Lady Gaga`s numbers were inflated last week. "Amazon.com" was selling the album for 99 cents. But that`s still an 84 percent drop from last week with this week`s sales.

Do you think the Gaga hype machine could be running out of steam here?

DALY: Well, you know, maybe a little bit, A.J. My theory on this is that the Lady Gaga machine is really more concerned about consumers and Americans looking at the top line of the story, which is first week sales.

They work like movies now. You know, the business of being Lady Gaga -- everything has got to be event based. So the big top line story there is Gaga 1.1, first week. Only a handful of artists have done that in recent time. She`s a machine.

I don`t even think they care about second week. I think they`re on to sort of the next thing in the spoke in the Gaga wheel.

HAMMER: Well, just after Gaga`s album came out, we did spend some time with her from SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and we asked Gaga about the success of "Born This Way." We wanted to know if she was surprised with how well the album was doing. Watch what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LADY GAGA, POP STAR: I`m just really grateful and I wanted the fans to love the music, to see them enjoy the release of the album and have it really be an event for them and have them have parties and meet each other and go to bedsides together or wherever they`re going to buy the record. I mean, it really means a lot to me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, that`s sort of to your point there, Carson, that it was about the big release and it all coming out. I also know that Gaga is all about the positivity of the art of her craft.

But do you think there`s a part of her that maybe saw these numbers and said uh-oh?

DALY: I think so. I think, you know, you`re looking at two week sales, 1.3 million. The bigger story here, A.J., for me, is that you look at an artist like Adele, who has the number one album at iTunes.

She`s almost at two million copies of her album. She`s only put out one single, "Rolling in the Deep," whereas Gaga has put out three, four singles for "Born This Way."

So long term Gaga has got to be thinking, how much of this disposability can I really afford to put out there? I`ve really got to hit it home. But she does some touring. She`s the most loved thing in pop music right now, regardless.

HAMMER: Yes. There`s no question about that. And look, I don`t think she has to worry about making money for her entire career as she continues to tour and continues to sell out everywhere she goes.

Carson Daly, it`s always great to see you. Make sure you catch Carson on "The Voice", round two of the quarter finals. It airs Tuesday on NBC. And please don`t forget his other gig, great show, "Last Call with Carson Daly." Just got picked up for an 11th season. So congratulations on that.

DALY: Thanks, A.J. I appreciate it.

HAMMER: All right. You got it, man. And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Remember, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is now seen exclusively Monday to Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and pacific, right here on HLN.
