A.J. HAMMER, CNN NEWS ANCHOR: Big news breaking tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: Dancing with controversy. Absolute outrage over Chaz Bono on "Dancing with the Stars"

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHAZ BONO, CELEBRITY: I`m really honored to be like the first transgendered person to be dancing on the show

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, Cher slams critics who say her son, Chaz, shouldn`t be on the show. What does Chaz`s dancing co-star, Nancy Grace, think about the controversy? HLN`s own Nancy Grace is right here for a must-see headline making showbiz newsmaker interview.

A brand new Kardashian dilemma. Hey, Kim, is your new husband really ready for the spotlight?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN, CELEBRITY: There`s nothing that really can prepare you to their kind of attention.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The showbiz "Flashpoint," can Kris Humphries handle the Kardashian spotlight? But, wait, there`s more. Did Kris just run into Kim K`s sex tape co-star Ray J? Awkward.

Marc Anthony speaks out for the very first time about his split from J-Lo. Did cheating break up their marriage?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN QUINONES, ABC NEWS: Infidelity?

MARC ANTHONY, ENTERTAINER: No, absolutely not. Nothing sensationalistic.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news, right now.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We`ve got big news breaking tonight: "Dancing with controversy." You know, the brand new season of "Dancing with the Stars" hasn`t even started and the outrage is already boiling over. Some people slamming ABC`s casting Chaz Bono, the show`s first transgender competitor. Well, tonight SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, those critics, they are getting a real diva smackdown from none other than Chaz`s mega star mom, Cher. Wait till you hear what Cher is saying about all of this.

But first we`re getting the real deal behind the dancing drama from HLN`s very own Nancy Grace who is lacing up her dancing shoes to give Chaz and the rest of the cast a run for the big "Dancing with the Stars" trophy.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TOM BERGERON, DANCING WITH THE STARS HOST: She`s a former prosecutor turned prime commentator courtroom queen, Nancy Grace.

(APPLAUSE)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: HLN`s own Nancy Grace joins me right now for a headline making "Showbiz Newsmaker" interview.

Great to see you, you dancing fool, Nancy, you.

NANCY GRACE, CNN NEWS ANCHOR: It`s nice to see you, too. I don`t know how this all happened, but I can tell you this much, today I had to take off five bandages before I changed shoes to come to work, off my feet.

HAMMER: It`s a dangerous business. Dangerous business, Nancy.

GRACE: Yes it is. Five bandages

HAMMER: Look, let me lay this out for you. I think it is really, really cool that you`re going to be on season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars." I love it when I heard the news. But have I to ask you, you know, I`ve known you for a long time, Nance, and I kind of know what you`re into and some things you`re not so into. When you got the call about doing the show, did you just fall off your chair or did you say, "yeah, this makes perfect sense?"

GRACE: Well, of course it doesn`t make perfect sense, but here`s the deal, I was on my way to a hearing or to court -- it was to court. The trial hadn`t started yet in the tot mom (ph) Casey Anthony trial and I was driving in and I got a call. I actually thought I was being punked by somebody that I knew -- I was on my way into court. And I thought why would they want me to be on "Dancing with the Stars?" They`re all so glamorous and they`re celebrities and professional athletes and I really don`t fit into any of those pictures.

HAMMER: Well, but here`s the reason I think you`re a perfect choice for the show. You are a fearless woman. We know that in the courtroom, on your show, you are not afraid of anyone, you`re not afraid of anything, but when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT caught up with you right after the big "Dancing with the Stars" announcement of the whole cast for this season, you did admit to one fear. Let`s take a look at what you said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GRACE: I don`t know anything about dancing. I just hope that I don`t fall, OK. That`s my big goal is to not bust it. Because they didn`t teach dancing in law school, honey.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, so I got to ask, now that you have a couple of days behind you or, maybe weeks at this point, you`ve been practicing. Is the fear gone, maybe even replaced with the courage to actually win this thing?

GRACE: A.J., don`t jinx it. I don`t even dare say the words "mirror ball trophy." No, no, no. I want to stay in an upright position. Look, come on, look around, there`s all these young, skinny girls, professional athletes and soccer stars and me. OK? I guess I`m the old fat one this season.

HAMMER: No! Stop it.

GRACE: So, I just kind of want to hang in there. I just want to stay in the game. I don`t want to have to be dragged out feet first and go home.

HAMMER: Well, I appreciate your spirit about this thing, but I think there a lot of people out here with more confidence than you may have in yourself. Let`s move on for a moment, though, because I do need to tackle what I really think is an unfortunate and ridiculous controversy over Chaz Bono, the transgender son of Cher and Sonny Bono, being on the show. He will make history by doing this. And as Chaz told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, that is something he`s very aware of. Let`s watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BONO: Everything that I do, I`m an activist, first and foremost, so that`s always in the back of my mind, and I look at this as just a wonderful opportunity to kind of bring my message to even more people than I`ve had the chance to.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, there are some viewers out there, Nancy, who have begun lashing out on message boards and on Twitter, they`re accusing ABC of pushing a homosexual agenda. Some are even calling for a boycott of the show. Personally, I think those people are pretty darn ignorant.

Chaz`s mom, Cher, feels the same way. She lashed out on Twitter. Let me read what she wrote today, "Lovelies, Chaz is being viciously attacked on blogs and message boards about being on `Dancing with the Stars.` This is still America, right? It took guts to do it."

So Nancy, I got to ask you, what would you tell those people who are actually threatening to boycott "Dancing with the Stars" because of Chaz?

GRACE: Well, here`s the deal, A.J. Think back, a long time ago, there was a story of a prostitute that was getting stoned and what did Christ do? He turned around and he handed the stone to the people and said, hey, you, you haven`t ever sinned? You throw the first stone, go ahead. And everybody dropped the stones and walked away.

So, you know what, there`s always going to be hate and I only analyze and become judgmental and come down on who I perceive to be violent felons. You know the other night? I met Chaz and we bonded over cooking in crock pots. He didn`t know how and I explained the whole process to him. So, you know what? I`m too busy trying to learn to dance, trying to take care of my twins, trying to put bad guys behind bars and find missing kids. I don`t have time to hate Chaz Bono. And I would advise everybody that does have time to find something else to do.

HAMMER: Yeah, I think that sets a great example. I think Chaz is going to set a great example. And I love the fact he`s saying, you know what? Iif there are haters out there, it`s only going to motivate me further to do even better. And let`s face it, there have been controversial contestants on at least the last three seasons of the show, polarizing figures like Bristol Palin, like Kate Gosselin, just to name a couple. They went on to be fan favorites. I`m thinking the same could happen with Chaz. What do you think?

GRACE: Well, I think that when people get to know Chaz, they`re going to like him. And any preconceived notion they have over his choices in his life will fade away.

HAMMER: Yeah. I think you`re dead on there.

Now everybody, of course, at HLN, Nancy, thinks you are going to be fan favorite. We`re pulling for you on your dancing gig. But you know, stay with me on this. I got a little bone to pick with you, my friend.

GRACE: Oh, no.

HAMMER: Yeah. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`S J.D. Cargill asked you about which of your colleagues could possibly follow in your footsteps, the other night. Let me remind you of what you said, Nancy Grace. Roll that...

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

J.D. CARGILL, CNN NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Who would you like to see from the family of CNN, come try this next? Because you`re the first, right? You`re the first CNNer to do this.

GRACE: I would like to see Anderson Cooper and Joy Behar bust a move.

CARGILL: You can actually have a dance-off at the next Christmas party.

GRACE: I`ve already challenged Anderson Cooper to a dance-off and he turned me -- he acted like he didn`t hear me. What does that mean? I don`t know.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Anderson Cooper, Joy Behar. I`m sorry, Nancy, I -- maybe I missed it -- I didn`t hear you mention A.J. Hammer.

No.

HAMMER: Is it fear? Are you afraid?

GRACE: You know why I didn`t mention you, little boy?

HAMMER:

GRACE: Because I know you already know how to dance.

HAMMER: Well, let me tell you something, and I`ve never said this to you before, Nancy, you`re dead wrong. I have no idea how to dance.

GRACE: Well, we`re in the same boat.

HAMMER: It`s going to be fascinating to watch what happens, here. Before you go, Nancy, I think -- you know, and I`ve tried to save this, perhaps the most important question, for last. I need to know exactly how excited you are to be getting into those shimmering and very revealing outfits you will be wearing on "Dancing with the Stars" that we can`t wait to see you in.

GRACE: OK, let me tell you this much, A.J. I just shot the opening sequence to the show. It was all spanks and sequins, all right? I had to have somebody cut me out of the outfit when it was time to go get back on the plane. Snip, snip.

HAMMER: I can`t wait to see it. Nancy Grace, thank you, good luck. We`ll be watching every week starting on September 19.

GRACE: And vote for Pete`s sake!

HAMMER: As we move on tonight, Marc Anthony is speaking out for the first time since his split from Jennifer Lopez.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

QUINONES: What can you tell us about what went wrong in the marriage?

ANTHONY: These things happen. These things happen.

QUINONES: Do you want this divorce?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Marc Anthony opening up about J-Lo. You got to hear this. Was cheating that caused their split?

Also, there is a big Kardashian dilemma, today. Kim`s new husband not looking all that comfortable with the spotlight. Kris, I`m thinking maybe you should have thought about that before marrying into the Kardashian family. The "Showbiz Flashpoint," can Kris Humphries handle the Kardashian spotlight?

And Matthew Fox in a whole heap of trouble, tonight. I`m sorry to see this. Did he really assault a bus driver? We`ve got the latest. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views."

Time now for the "Showbiz News Ticker," more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news, tonight.

HAMMER: Big news in the case of the missing woman in Aruba. A judge just ordered that the suspect, 50-year-old Gary Giordano, be held in custody for two more months. Thirty-five-year-old Robyn Gardner is still missing. Giordano reported her missing nearly a month ago when the two of them travelled to Aruba together. Giordano has said he`s to be the beneficiary of a $1.5 million insurance policy on Gardner. In fact, he`s also told the authorities that Gardner disappeared after a snorkeling accident. Giordano will stay in an Aruban jail for the next 60 days as the search continues.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight "Showbiz Justice." Of course, that case, in Aruba, reminded so many people of the Natalee Holloway case, which remains unsolved. But today, there`s breaking news involving the main suspect in Natalee`s disappearance. Today Joran, van der Sloot was officially charged with the 2010 murder of another woman. Could this brand new development change anything in the Holloway case?

Joining me right now from Hollywood, Alan Duke. Alan is the CNN "Wire Entertainment" editor.

Natalee Holloway disappeared in Aruba back in 2005. Since that time, Alan, of course, we know Joran van der Sloot has remained the prime suspect this case. So Alan, does today`s murder charge in that 2010 case against van der Sloot mean anything at all for the Natalee Holloway case?

ALAN DUKE, CNN WIRE ENTERTAINMENT EDITOR: Well, it means the prime suspect in the Natalee Holloway case will remain in jail, at least for a while. There was some concern that he may be released sometime this year in charges were not brought against him in the Peruvian case and now they don`t have worry about that. So, the prime suspect, at least, is locked up right now while they continue searching for clues.

HAMMER: And I think that makes a number of people very happy, as far as the Holloway case is even concerned.

Right now, let me get to another "Showbiz Justice" story that`s making big news, today, about one of my favorite actors in Hollywood, "Lost" star Matthew Fox, he actually could be facing assault charges. Here`s what we know about this: A female bus driver claims that Fox was drunk when he punched her repeatedly after she refused to allow him onboard a party bus.

Check out what the bus driver told our affiliate, WJW:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HEATHER BORMANN, BUS DRIVER: I told him to exit, that he was trespassing. I warned him three times, then he started waling on me, so I started swinging back.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And did you hit him?

BORMANN: I did. I hit him in the mouth with my hand. Well, we don`t want any of their Hollywood bull crap here. You mess with Cleveland and Cleveland messes back

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yeah, look out if you`re getting on her bus. Sounds like Matthew Fox ran into one tough lady.

Now, Alan, I do know that you have been covering this story very closely. Where is the police investigation in this, right now? What`s going on with Matthew Fox?

DUKE: It`s in the hands of the city prosecutor in Cleveland. In fact, this is such a high profile case for them, the mayor`s press secretary is keeping in constant contact with me. I spoke with her just a few moments ago and she said no decision will be made today, possibly tomorrow, though, by the prosecutor as to whether to level an assault charge against Fox. Of course Heather Bormann, just two days ago, went to the prosecutor`s office and made a complaint against him. Yesterday they started interviewing witnesses, but no decision yet in the case of Matthew Fox, but perhaps tomorrow.

HAMMER: You know they`re going to do things very carefully. They`re not used to having this kind of a Hollywood spotlight and all the eyes of the nation watching what`s going on and people are riveted by this. A lot of love for Matthew Fox out there. And we`ve reached out to Matthew Fox for a comment on the incident. As of show time, we haven`t heard back. And as we said, right now, these are all allegation, no charges have been filed.

Alan, I think it`s a pretty smart move that Matthew is keeping quiet for the moment. Wouldn`t you save that`s a good idea?

DUKE: I would say absolutely. The lower profile -- if he remains lost, at least as far as a statement, I think it`s better off for him, and maybe tomorrow we`ll hear from him when the prosecutor either says it`s a go or a no-go on prosecution on criminal charges.

HAMMER: All right, well, we will keep watching it. Alan Duke, thank you so much.

Got to move on now to "Showbiz Breaking News" with Mark Wahlberg. "The Entourage" and fine actor, just revealed he fears getting his high school diploma. Sounds kind of strange, right? Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there with Mark as he cut the ribbon at the Boy`s and Girl`s Club in San Pedro, California, for its brand new "Graduate to Go" production studio. This is a joint project between Mark`s youth foundation, Taco Bell, and the Boy`s and Girl`s Clubs of America. When we sat down the Mark, he revealed to us his troubled teen years and why, despite all his success, he actually fears getting his diploma.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MARK WAHLBERG, ENTERTAINER: I was in the Boy`s and Girl`s Club for quite some time and unfortunately I wasn`t always on my best behavior and I was kicked out of the Boys Club for life, at the time and then I ended up getting in trouble, getting into drugs and gangs and going and getting incarcerated and then, you know, when I turned my life back around, one of the important things to do was to get my membership back from the boys club.

My fear of going and getting my diploma is something that I have to do and I will do, but every day I wait it seems like it`s going to be more and more difficult. I will make sure that before my kids start asking those important questions, that I will have it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well Mark, did get his membership for the club back. He tells us he was actually inducted into the Boy"s and Girl`s Cub hall of fame. Nice going, Mark.

Moving on now to a 6`9" Kardashian dilemma, tonight. Kim K.`s new husband, Kris, a little skittish in the spotlight. I got to ask, why do you sign with the Kardashians, Kris? Why you doing this? The "Showbiz Flashpoint," can Kris Humphries handle the Kardashian spotlight?

Marc Anthony is speaking out for the very first time since his split from J-Lo. Everybody wants to know did cheating really cause their split?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

QUINONES: What can you tell us about what went wrong in the marriage?

ANTHONY: These things happen. These things happen.

QUINONES: Do you want this divorce?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: You got to see what he says. A fired up Marc Anthony tells all in a brand new interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and views."

Now it`s time for the "Showbiz News Ticker," more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news, tonight.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: "Showbiz Trending" tonight, the twin boys whose hockey switch-a-roo cost them $50,000 -- 11-year-old Nate Smith sparked a frenzy on YouTube after he nailed a once in a lifetime 89-foot hockey shot for a $50,000 cash prize. Really, a terrific shot there. The only problem, his brother, Nick, was actually the one who won the raffle to take that shot. So, did the twins deserve their reward?

With me tonight, in New York, an expert on these matters, TV and radio host, Michael Billy.

So, it was revealed today that these twins were denied, denied the $50,000 prize. The good news is the insurance company that covered the charity event is donating 20,000 bucks to local hockey groups for hockey gear. Nick and Nate Smith reacted to that news on the "today" show. Watch what happened this morning.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

NATE SMITH, HOCKEY TWIN: It feels bad, but I`m happy they at least gave something so all the other kids can still play and get gear that they can`t afford.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And Nick, are you OK with the decision, as well?

NICK SMITH, HOCKEY TWIN: Yeah, because they`re giving -- letting other people play hockey that can`t afford it because it`s an expensive sport.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I think they`re actually being pretty good sports about this, Michael Billy. What do you think? Should they have gotten this prize money for being such good sports or did they do the right thing here, because quite frankly, they weren`t being perfectly honest about how it happened?

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO SHOW HOST: They did the right thing. This is a great story. I`m really glad that the kids are really OK with it. I`m glad that the money is going to charity. That`s the only other acceptable outcome, you know what I mean, everybody loves these kids, we all know that. It was an incredible shot, we all know that. But if the money is not going to go to them because of the honesty thing, it`s good they stood up for what they believe in and it`s great that other kids are going to be able to benefit.

HAMMER: Our line producer, Jim Gerardo (ph), who thinks this is a brilliant stories agrees with you 100 percent. Now, the boys probably would have walked away with the cash if their dad, Pat, didn`t reveal that Nate was the one who actually was out there on the ice taking the shot and now Nick, so really, Michael Billy, I think we learned an important lesson here, and I actually think the world is a better place now because of what happened to these boys.

BILLY: Sure it is, but how`s their father`s Father`s Day is going to be for the next few years. I mean, these kids aren`t going to forget about it, $50,000 is a lot of money. But again, the family will get over it. The kids are going to have a lot more great opportunities coming their way.

HAMMER: You know what dad said? "Doh! Oh!" Michael Billy, thank you so much. Got to get some "Showbiz Lineup." Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT: A big Kardashian dilemma, tonight. The reality show, the paparazzi, the famous family. Can Kim`s new husband, Kris, handle the Kardashian spotlight?

Will George Clooney run for president? Now, I am sure that a lot of people want "Cool George" to run, but you think he`ll actually do it? Wait until you hear what he is saying about this, now. He`s always asked that question. What he says is brilliant. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views.

It is time for the ""Showbiz News Ticker." Here come more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news, tonight.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues, right now.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. We`ve got big news breaking, tonight. Can he take the heat? Kim Kardashian`s new husband of almost two weeks now, Kris Humphries, is finding out just how hot it can get under the Kardashian spotlight. As if being a pro basketball player wasn`t hard enough, well Kris now has to deal with taping a reality show, dealing with the paparazzi all the time, walking all those Red Carpets and all the other public and private aggravations that have got to come with marrying into the Kardashian fame machine. And while Kris and Kim seem every bit the happy newlyweds they are, tonight I am here to tell you there are brand new signs that Kris`s relationship with the spotlight may not be nearly as harmonious.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): No doubt about it, newlyweds, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries make a good looking couple. But watching Kris, who plays basketball for the New Jersey Nets, adjust to the Kardashian celebrity spotlight, we`ve noticed a few things.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE)

HAMMER: Unlike his photo-ready bride, Kris doesn`t seem all that happy on the Red Carpet. He definitely doesn`t seem to care too much for the paparazzi and his appearances on "Keeping up with the Kardashians.,,"

KRIS HUMPHRIES, KARDASHIAN HUSBAND: I`m nervous.

HAMMER: Well, let`s just say he`s not quite a reality show natural.

So, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is wondering is the new Mr. Kardashian ready for all the craziness of living in the Kardashian spotlight?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there last night at a special "welcome to New York" party for the newlyweds. It didn`t exactly seem like Kris`s scene.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDREA MINEO (PH), SHOWBIZ TONIGHT PRODUCER: I`d have to say he looked a little bit like a deer in the headlights.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT producer Andrea Mineo (ph) was there to see Kris and Kim`s debut as a married couple. She tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she and the other journalists thought Kris did not look in his element.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MINEO: This is my first time seeing him on a Red Carpet. He wanted off that Red Carpet quickly.

He seemed uncomfortable. He didn`t talk to any of the journalists.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Andrea asked Kim Kardashian how her new husband was handling the attention?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN, CELEBRITY: I don`t know how you can really prepare someone for it. it`s really, it`s different, especially -- he`s used to the interviews and stuff like that when you play a game, but there`s nothing that really can prepare you for this kind of attention.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The adjustment is proving rocky for Kris. TMZ also noticed Kris` discomfort among the paparazzi and ran a headline titled "What have I gotten myself into"?

He hasn`t had time to get acclimated into what it means to be in a TV reality family.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MINEO: He hasn`t had that much time to get acclimated into what it`s like to be in a reality TV family.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: After all, Kris and Kim met just last November. In fact, in an interview with "People," he admitted that at first he didn`t want any part of Kim`s reality show fame. He said, "I didn`t want to be on the show when we met, so it was just us, we got to know each other the right way."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HUMPHRIES: First, vacation at the townhome (ph). I`m so excited.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Now, not only is Kris a regular on Kim`s reality show, "Keeping up with the Kardashians," all of his personal milestones with Kim, no matter how personal, are fodder for the show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HUMPHRIES: This is the biggest moment of my life.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: From his proposal to Kim, which we`ll see on an upcoming episode, to the wedding, filmed for a special on "E" airing next month and even their honeymoon, which we see in this footage on "Us Weekly`s" Web site.

So, like it or not, Kris, you are part of the Kardashian machine, now. Better get used to it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MINEO: It comes with the territory.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So Kris, you seem like a nice enough guy, so we at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT are giving you a belated wedding present, our personal guide titled "So you Married a Kardashian: How to Survive the Kardashian Craziness." Tip one, sunglasses. All those flashbulbs can be tough on the eyes.

Tip No. 2, turn to your brother-in-law, Lamar Odom. Like you, he`s a basketball player and also like you, he married a Kardashian, in this case, Kim`s sister, Khloe.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KHLOE KARDASHIAN, CELEBRITY: You`re not even making a kissing face.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And he`s playing the game so well, he got his own reality show spin-off.

And the third tip for surviving the Kardashian craziness, listen to your wife. She`s kind of good at this whole fame thing.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MINEO: Kim`s been in the spotlight for a long time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And Kim Kardashian tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, for a newbie, her hubby is doing just fine.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN: But he`s doing a really good job and he just kind of goes with the flow and he doesn`t let any of it really get to him.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So chin up, Kris. Being in the Kardashian spotlight is tough. Kris, if you can handle guarding Kobe Bryant, this reality show fame thing should be a piece of cake.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Well, it`s one thing to be a pro baller, as they`re called, but the Kardashian spotlight is really a whole new world and I`m betting very few people could actually handle that, especially if it`s not something that they were seeking. That brings us to our "Showbiz Flashpoint," can Kim K`s new husband, Kris Humphries, handle the Kardashian spotlight?

In New York, Michael Billy. Michael`s a TV and radio host. And in Hollywood tonight, Kim Serafin is a senior editor with "In Touch Weekly,"

I got to tell you guys, I don`t get the impression that Kris is really all that ready for this spotlight. I do worry that this may become a problem for him and for his relationship with Kim.

Kim Serafin, let me start with you. What do you think, can Kris Humphries handle it?

KIM SERAFIN, IN TOUCH WEEKLY: Yeah, it`s interesting watching all of these clips of him, because it doesn`t look like he`s totally comfortable. And as you mentioned, they really haven`t known each other for that long, it`s been barely a year. So, even though he`s been exposed to it a little bit, I think until you are an actual Kardashian, you don`t really know the extent of the media attention and the cameras and just the scrutiny that you`re going to be under. So, it will be interesting to see if he`s able to adapt to it like Scott Disick or like Lamar Odom, or if he`s going to kind of stay to his own self. It sounds like he`s going to do his own thing. Kim has said, oh, he likes to be in Minnesota, he also has a place in Miami, he`ll be traveling. It sounds like that might be the extent of their relationship. But we`ll have to see, he might just turn to love it.

HAMMER: He might. I don`t get the impression it`s headed that way.

Michael, you know, to Kim`s point, being a pro athlete, yeah, you get a lot of attention, there are interviews, you`re familiar with cameras being around all the time. This is an entirely different level. I mean, there is no level like this level.

BILLY: Totally different type of celebrity. I mean, if you look at Kris Humphries on the Red Carpet, he looks like he`s at his eighth grade graduation, pulling at his suit, feeling very uncomfortable. If they knew what was good for him, Kris, Lamar, Scott, they would all get together and start a support group, "Hello, my name is Bruce, and I married a Kardashian." The only way to get around it. Marriage, you need some privacy in it and Kim, that`s not their business. They want to go very public with everything.

HAMMER: I think you`re on to something with the support group. It could be a growing thing around the Hollywood area.

Well, Kim Kardashian did break some news to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about being ready to start a family with Kris and she also told us exactly what married life has been like, so far. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN: It doesn`t really feel any different. I guess Kris wants me to pack and unpack for him, like that`s what wives are supposed to do and I was like, "I bet wives don`t have jobs like this all the time. I`m really busy."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yeah, kind of an interesting take on marriage.

Kim Serafin, I think Kris Humphries need as little reality check, here. Kim may not be used to compromise. You know what I`m saying?

SERAFIN: Yeah. Well, first of all, even though they haven`t known each other that long, I can`t imagine that he would think she`s going to sit at home and pack his bag for him. He has to know she has a business, she do travel. I don`t think there`s a lot of wives these days get married and immediately are saying I want to pack my husband`s bags. You know, maybe that`s the feminist in me saying that.

Although, what I`m thinking is that this might be a story line in an upcoming episode and maybe she`s dropping a little hint that perhaps this is going to come into play and this might be a source of contention and it`s a great episode so it`s a great way to drop that note to get us all to pay attention.

HAMMER: Yeah, I mean, Kris is a pretty young guy. It`s 2011 after all. I really hope he doesn`t think like that. I really want to give him more credit than that. And, as if Kris Humphries doesn`t have enough to deal with, you now have reports, brand new, out today that Kris actually ran into Kim`s sex tape co-star, Ray J on a plane. Can you imagine that?

The "New York Post" reporting today that Kris Humphries and Ray J happened to be seated right near each other on the same flight from L.A. to New Orleans. Ray J reportedly broke the ice by actually congratulating Kris on his marriage to Kim. Sounded like a very awkward moment.

And Michael, I think it`s safe to say that Kris better prepare himself for tons of awkward moments. Again, this is a woman, his wife, who has put everything out there about her life.

BILLY: I`ll say this, that is the most awkward three hours in one seat since "Black Swan," OK? That is really awkward. I mean, this guy has got to get ready for public life. Every single inch of their private life, as in the show, and Kim and getting to know the Kardashians, everything is public and this private guy, it seems, is going to have to deal with a lot of these public things, like a sex tape.

HAMMER: Yeah, Kim, this is just going to keep happening to Kris Humphries, isn`t it? I would have loved to have been there, if this actually did take place, Ray J and Kris Humphries together.

SERAFIN: Yeah, he`s got to get used to this kind of scrutiny and he`s got to get used to the media reporting on every reaction that he has to everything. So, good thing he kind of turned it around and apparently acknowledged that he know who Ray J was, but he`s got to get used to this. It`s going to happen again.

HAMMER: Baggage claim, please.

Kim Serafin, Michael Billy, thank you both, so much.

Moving on to Marc Anthony`s breakup bombshells. We have Marc speaking out for the first time since his split from Jennifer Lopez.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

QUINONES: What can you tell us about what went wrong in the marriage?

ANTHONY: These things happen. These things happen.

QUINONES: Do you want this divorce?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: And what about all those reports that cheating is what actually broke up their marriage. Wait till you hear what Marc Anthony says as he breaks his silence.

The big "Real Housewives" debate, tonight. Bravo has re-edited the show after Russell Armstrong`s tragic suicide that`s got people crying "foul," still. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, should "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" be boycotted? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views."

And now it`s the "Showbiz News Ticker." These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news, tonight.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I am A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, Marc Anthony`s breakup bombshells. Now, Marc has said he is now tired of the lies, tired of the rumors and he`s not going to take it anymore. Today in an exclusive interview with ABC, Marc Anthony opens up for the very first time about his split from Jennifer Lopez, but the big question today is did he actually admit to cheating?

With me in New York right now, Cathy Areu, who`s the publisher for "Catalina" magazine. Right now in Hollywood, Rachel Zalis, a contributing editor for "Life and Style" magazine.

So, Marc Anthony has finally addressed all of the rampant report that have been flying around that he actually cheated on the lovely Jennifer Lopez. In an interview that awas shown today on "Good Morning America," he tells ABC`s John Quinones, those rumors, they are false patently false. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANTHONY: It was the flight attendant; it was the pilot I heard. It was this guy sitting next to me in a rehab in Houston and I`ve heard it all. Celebrity watching and speculation, it`s almost like a sport.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Absolutely right there. And it`s been more than six weeks now since they announced that they`re getting divorced. That`s a lot of time to really let that rumor mill run wild and fester.

So Cathy, do you think Marc should have spoken out sooner? We`d already heard from Jennifer Lopez, but this is the first time we`re hearing from Marc.

CATHY AREU, CATALINA MAGAZINE: He should have but he didn`t want to. I mean, this is not a guy who`s afraid of an interview. He will talk about his music, he`s a great musician, the top selling salsa singer in the country; however, he didn`t want to talk about this, He didn`t feel like it, he thought it would probably go away and no, it did not go away. He had to address it.

HAMMER: Because I have to tell you, wherever I go, you know, I`ll be out and people are saying: So, what`s the real deal about J-Lo and Marc Anthony? Did he cheat? That`s what people think. That`s what people have been lead to believe by this celebrity watching sport that speaks of.

AREU: And he wasn`t talking.

HAMMER: Well, he does tell ABC the real reason for their breakup, the fact the marriage didn`t work anymore. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANTHONY: It was a realization on both our parts, so, you know, it wasn`t shocking. These things happen. These things happen.

QUINONES: Do you want this divorce?

ANTHONY: You know, it`s a decision that we made jointly and that`s how I`ll answer that.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yeah, and that to me is him admitting he had his talking points prepared for answer that question. Very interesting to me that Marc wouldn`t actually tell John Quinones straight out that he wanted the divorce. A lot of people have gotten the impression it was J-Lo who wand this.

Rachel, I do get the feeling there is a whole lot more to this story, perhaps, than we`ll ever find out. Don`t you?

RACHEL ZALIS, LIFE AND STYLE MAGAZINE. Oh, absolutely. And I think he should be on "Dancing with the Stars" with the way he shimmied around those questions. But, I mean, I totally agree with you. I think this was so PC, so carefully planned and preapproved by J-Lo`s team of probably 8,000 people. And you know, this was not like David Arquette going on Howard Stern and spilling the beans. You know? This was really like, you know, with the OK from her team.

HAMMER: Yeah, Howard needs to get Marc Anthony on, then we`ll know the truth. Let`s move on now, though to another big story that making some big news, today. A brand new call today for people to boycott "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" over the show`s choice to keep going, even though the mention of the suicide of Russell Armstrong will happen. Some folks are saying that it is wrong for Bravo to put any form of the show on the air after Armstrong committed suicide. "Real Housewives of New York" star Ramona Singer tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, she actually thinks that Bravo did make the right move, here. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RAMONA SINGER, CELEBRITY: I think it was very tragic what happened to Russell. I don`t think it has anything to do, really, with the reality show. People are pointing at reality shows that it`s the fault of the show. I do not believe that. You know what they say, "The show must go on."

You know, I just think (INAUDIBLE) I just think, you know what, it`s a show, the fans want it, the women worked hard on it and, you know, tragedies do happen in life. Life can be tragic.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: It certainly can. Cathy, people are taking sides, here. They`re drawing a line in the sand. What do you think? Should people boycott? Do you actually expect people will boycott the show?

AREU: They will not boycott the show, but they should boycott this show. They should boycott all these real housewives shows. I mean, they`re tacky, they`re tasteless and this poor man says that part of -- well, he did tell his mother that he was afraid of how they would portray him in the upcoming season.

HAMMER: You know, I hear you saying, except this is wildly popular. I think the ratings are going to be bigger than ever, even if they`re not looking to exploit it, all of the collateral publicity that they`re getting over this tragic and sad incident is going to drive viewership there. I don`t think you can patently say, you know, they should just yank the show off the air. I think they have to handle it sensitively, though.

AREU: Well, they did re-edit, so in terms of re-editing, I`m sure that they made it more tasteful and took away all the negative comments that the women were probably already saying about Russell, because that`s what makes the show juicy, people trashing each other. So, in the re- editing, they probably cleaned it up.

HAMMER: So you will be holding up a sign in protest of the show?

AREU: Boycott.

HAMMER: You`ll be marching.

AREU: Boycott.

HAMMER: All right, thanks so much. Cathy Areu and Rachel Zalis, I appreciate it.

Got to move on now to, President Cooney? You have got to see George Clooney`s brilliant response to the question reporters just love to ask him: Will you ever run for president? I love what George is saying about this, now.

Well, George gave what I thought was a brilliant response to that question. Listen to what he told reporters, there.

"There`s a guy in office right now who is smarter than almost anybody you know, who is nicer, who has more compassion than almost anybody you know and he`s having an almost impossible time governing. Why would anyone volunteer for that job?"

Perfectly said, George. And I got to tell you, they don`t come any classier than George Clooney.
