Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight -- do you believe her?

Do you believe what Kim Kardashian is now saying about the end of her marriage of just 72 days? Well, for first time, Kim explained today why people shouldn`t think for a moment that her wedding and marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham. Kim says that it wasn`t a publicity stunt, that she didn`t make a ton of money from it.

And if you don`t believe her, well, just ask her mom, Kris Jenner, which is exactly what a lot of people did today as Kris made the rounds on her TV promoting her new book, even as Kim did her interview while promoting her Kardashian Khaos collection.

But tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has got to ask, are you buying what they`re selling?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KIM KARDASHIAN: It`s a hard time right now.

HAMMER (voice-over): Literally half a world away from the media firestorm she started, Kim Kardashian spoke out in Australia today for her first interview since she filed for divorce from her husband, Kris Humphries, just 72 days after their made-for-TV wedding.

KIM KARDASHIAN: I married for love.

HAMMER: And Kim wants to make one thing clear, that her marriage to Kris Humphries, all 72 days of it, was for real and not some ratings stunt.

KIM KARDASHIAN: There`s been so many different reports that, you know, just aren`t true, like my wedding cost $10 million, or I got paid $20 million to have a wedding.

And all that`s just not true. Anyone that would, you know, get married for a TV show -- it`s just, you know, ridiculous. And it`s just sad that I even have to defend that.

HAMMER: And today, back in the states, it was Kim`s mom and manager, Kris Jenner, who was handling the U.S. leg of the Kardashian damage control.

JENNER: It certainly wasn`t a sham. Certainly, it wasn`t something for TV. She really felt like she was in love with him.

HAMMER: Promoting her new book on the "Today" show, Kris also slammed reports of a multimillion-dollar payday for Kim`s wedding.

JENNER: We don`t sell television rights. We were all paid to do our television show just like any other episode.

HAMMER: And Kris says, Kim dug deep in her purse for the nuptials.

JENNER: They made some money for the pictures that were sold and things like that. But at the end of the day, that money went towards the wedding, and Kim had to pay a great deal of money, you know, at the balance that was owed for the wedding.

HAMMER: But TMZ`s Dax Holt says he doesn`t buy the notion that there was no profit motive behind Kim`s wedding.

DAX HOLT, TMZ: I definitely think, you know, they made a boatload of cash on this wedding, but they also spent a boatload of cash. So however they want to look at it, they made money on this wedding.

HAMMER: But today, Kim says someone will profit from her wedding -- charity.

KIM KARDASHIAN: I`ve donated money to the Dream Foundation to -- in exchange for, like, what the gifts would have totaled to be because I know that that would be more helpful to them.

HAMMER: As for the reason Kim left her husband after such a short time, and a big wedding, right now, she`s not saying.

KIM KARDASHIAN: I mean, I don`t really think I`m ready to get into all the details.

HAMMER: And neither is her mom.

JENNER: I`m not here to be her personal spokesperson.

HAMMER: On her Web site, Kim says making her wedding a big TV event didn`t help matters. She wrote, "I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn`t know how to and didn`t want to disappoint a lot of people."

Meanwhile, today, TMZ is reporting another possible reason for the split - - tensions with Kris Humphries` family.

HOLT: Kim`s friends are saying that Kris` family was not supportive, that they didn`t like their relationship, that they didn`t want their son to get married to Kim Kardashian.

HAMMER: TMZ`s Dax Holt tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT sources close to Kim say Kris` family didn`t like her very much and let her know it. Whether that`s true or not, Kim dumping Kris so quickly and publicly, probably didn`t exactly improve her rep in the Humphries household.

HOLT: Sources in the Humphries family are telling us that they are very, very sad that their son`s relationship has gone down in the dumps, that they wish that Kim would have given Kris a longer opportunity to prove himself.

HAMMER: One thing`s clear -- this divorce has made the Kardashians bigger than ever this week.

HOLT: I have to say though, no matter what, a divorce, a wedding -- all of it is good publicity because she`s now on the cover of every magazine.

HAMMER: So now, Kim`s off in Australia, selling her family`s boutique. Kris is in the States, selling her new book. And both are trying to sell the notion that this whole marriage fiasco is just a sad love story and not a calculated reality show plot.

KIM KARDASHIAN: Everything I do is, you know, just for love and I`m a hopeless romantic.

HAMMER: But the question is, is America buying what the Kardashian clan is selling?

(END VIDEOTAPE)

Yes. And a tough sell it is. Kim Kardashian and her mom speaking out on separate continents today saying this was a real marriage, not a moneymaking TV stunt. But will people believe them?

With me in New York tonight, TV and radio host, Michael Billy. In Hollywood tonight, we have Rachel Zalis, contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

Now, first off, this may surprise you. But I`ve got to give Kim credit speaking out and copping to getting caught up in the pressure of her big TV wedding.

I can see how that can be a hard train to jump off of. Personally, I never bought the claim some have made that Kim and her mom cooked up a scheme for Kim to marry briefly just to boost TV ratings and their brand.

But Rachel, let me begin with you. Are you buying their denials today that the marriage was a big publicity stunt?

RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE WEEKLY": Absolutely. I mean, listen, I think Kim had good intentions. I mean, she thought she was in love. But the truth is, they barely knew each other. They only met in December.

It`s like being shocked or surprised that "The Bachelor" doesn`t work out. I mean, come on, these reality weddings rarely work. And I think her big mistake that she admitted was not getting out before the day of the wedding.

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: Clearly, there was some fighting going on and she definitely felt a lot of pressure with that show.

HAMMER: Yes. It sounds like she knew she should have called the whole thing off. And this afternoon, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT caught up with Kim`s mom, Kris Jenner. She was at an event for her new book. She praised the way that Kim had handled this whole situation.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JENNER: I`m proud of her that she was able to, after much prayer and consideration, you know, make a very difficult decision. And she was very brave to be honest. And that`s what I`ve always taught the girls.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. Kim and her mother were adamant today on separate continents that the Kardashians did not profit from that wedding day.

Here`s the thing -- even if that`s true, the wedding obviously a huge boost for the Kardashian brand. And that obviously makes them a lot of money, reportedly $65 million last year. Michael, it seems to me that they`re just splitting hairs here.

MICHAEL BILLY, TV AND RADIO HOST: They`re totally splitting hairs. This is such a PR move. When you listen to these interviews, everything Kris is saying is, "Hey, we didn`t make money from the wedding. But we did make money from this and a couple other things."

So there was money to be made there. It`s not us, the media. It`s them. Proud of your daughter, by the way. Let`s not forget, by the way, she was selling, again, handbags in Australia.

HAMMER: Yes.

BILLY: She didn`t tell her husband. Kris found out through the Internet. That`s what you`re proud of? Not so proud myself.

HAMMER: And by the way, Kris` name, not mentioned once in that letter to the fans, which really struck me. Let me bring up something else. Kim now says the pressure of the reality show made her go through with the wedding that she doesn`t sure about.

Again, I give her credit for at least copping to that. Now, by all accounts the driving force of the Kardashian reality show empire is Kim`s mom and manager, Kris Jenner.

Well, this morning on "The View," Barbara Walters asked Kris, pointblank, whether she now regrets making her daughter`s wedding such a TV spectacle. Here`s what she said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARBARA WALTERS, TV PERSONALITY: Do you ever say, "Maybe we should never have done this"? Does that go through your mind?

JENNER: You know, we feel so happy and satisfied with, you know, with our show. And you know, we wear it all. We`re an open book. No pun intended. We show --

WALTERS: So you have no regret?

JENNER: Absolutely not.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: So, Kris has no regrets. Rachel, some are accusing Kris of being more of a manager than a mom in this case. Do you think that`s unfair?

ZALIS: I mean, she is the master puppeteer behind all this. But I mean, the truth is, like, she has made this family what it is. So you have to give her a lot of credit and props for that.

But sometimes you kind of wish she would play more of the mom role and say, I mean, "You don`t have to go through with this for the press or for the money or for any of that. But take care of yourself."

HAMMER: Yes. Michael, it seems to me, mom, not manager, should sit down with daughter before wedding and say, "Hey, are you so sure that you really want to go through with this? Don`t worry about the TV and all the people and all that."

BILLY: Sure. For a mommager like that, that would be the thing that you would regret, also possibly regret that your daughter`s 31 and has been divorced device, didn`t tell her husband that she was getting a divorce.

Those are some regrets I would make or say when talking about my family. And she totally missed those points today.

HAMMER: Yes. I have a feeling -- well, she may not be saying this might be a lesson learned for Kris Jenner as well, that maybe she should have stepped up a little bit more. All right. Michael Billy, Rachel Zalis, thank you both.

Well, there`s more Kardashian craziness we must get to tonight -- the explosive evidence that Kim could make a pile of cash off of her divorce debacle. I mean, I`m thinking a book deal, pictures from her new single life.

In my opinion, you should lay low for a while, Kim. That`s just me. The raging, new divorce debate is coming up.

Bieber baby bombshell? Justin Bieber slapped with a paternity suit. Why the Biebs is saying baby, baby, baby, no.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you an inside look at Nick Cannon`s amazing new family life. His beautiful wife, Mariah Carey. Their beautiful brand-new twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Nick right here for a headline-making SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I`m staying at the home of Britney Spears. She thinks I`m a leprechaun.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You will serve 30 days in the county jail. Now, you are to surrender within one week. I understand that you have some work lined up. You are to surrender by November 9th in person to the CRDF. That`s the women`s jail.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s Lindsay Lohan, getting an earful from the judge at her parole hearing today. I can tell you Lindsay is going back to jail. And this is a case of "like father, like daughter." Lindsay and her dad, Michael, could be behind bars at the exact same time.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. And yes, here we go again. It`s kind of like deja vu all over again for Lindsay Lohan and her father, Michael Lohan.

This afternoon, the judge in Lindsay`s necklace theft case ordered Lindsay to serve 30 days in jail beginning next week. That`s for violating her probation after she failed to complete a community service assignment at a women`s shelter.

But wait, there`s more. We also learn today that Lindsay`s dad, Michael, is now in solitary confinement in jail in a Tampa, Florida jail until his court date after being arrested twice in two days because he also violated a court order and didn`t stay away from his former girlfriend.

Let me start with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter tonight who was right there today at the Los Angeles County Superior Court where Lindsay was sentenced. Kareen, it is starting to sound like a broken record -- Lindsay Lohan going back to jail.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: You`re right on it, A.J. But indeed, a tough day for Lindsay Lohan. She`s headed back to jail for 30 days beginning a week from today.

And what`s interesting is, if after jail she doesn`t comply with the court order, well, things could get very complicated for her if she does not complete those mandated community service hours.

Listen to what judge told Lohan today in court. She says if she does not show up to work 12 days at the county morgue and attend four psychotherapy sessions every month after she`s released from jail until about April, she will be locked up for another 270 days.

And the judge, A.J., issued Lindsay a stern warning today, telling her, "This is what we really call putting the keys to the jail in the defendant`s hands."

Wow. You know, it really doesn`t get any clearer than that. And you know, A.J., the really surprising thing in all of this is that Lindsay herself, in court today, actually admitted to the judge that, yes, she violated her probation.

HAMMER: Yes. About time she did that, Kareen. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter, thank you very much. I want to bring in Debra Opri right now who is Hollywood tonight.

Debra, all right. Let`s break it down. As harsh as all of this sounds, do you see this is the judge sticking it to Lindsay today? Or did Lindsay kind of get off easy?

DEBRA OPRI, ATTORNEY: No. She got off easy because any other judge would say, "You didn`t do the time prescribed and ordered, and you`re going straight in for 270 days."

She is yet saying, "I`m giving you another chance." I`m starting to lose faith in Lindsay Lohan and I was the one out there supporting her. She`s got to get the act together because next time, she`s going away for 270 days. And if she thinks she is serving 20 percent or less, i.e. six days or the 30-day sentence and it`s not a big deal for her, she`s got to look down the road at where she`s heading in her life. And for me, I don`t see positive outcome at this point in time.

HAMMER: Well, the judge made the point that she feels that Lindsay needs structure in her life. And she really laid out a very structured setup for the jail time she`ll do and then the community service. Hopefully that will at least help.

But we`re saying this is like father, like daughter. While Lindsay prepares to get cozy in her jail cell, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did confirm today that her dad, Michael, is being held in a private cell in a Tampa jail under what the department is calling administrative confinement.

Now, Michael was arrested last week for allegedly attacking and threatening the life of his ex-girlfriend, Kate Major. He was arrested again two days later when he ignored a court order not to contact her.

So Debra, break this down. How much trouble is Lindsay`s dad really in? Could he be facing some real jail time as well?

OPRI: Big trouble when you have a bail and you violate the terms of the bail and rearrested and you run away from the police officer during an arrest and you hurt yourself.

He`s looking at double offenses. I always say to clients, "What are you thinking? Is she that worth it that you`ve got to keep going back for more?"

HAMMER: Yes.

OPRI: I mean, the issues here for him is, give up. Give up on it. Get past this and move on.

HAMMER: What a happy, dysfunctional family, those Lohans. All right, Debra Opri. thank you so much. I appreciate it.

As we move on tonight, is the Biebs a daddy? Well, there`s a startling, new claim from a young fan who says Justin Bieber is the father of her baby. Is he the youngest pop star ever to be slapped with a paternity suit?

Also, the great Nick Cannon`s daddy duty. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is taking you inside Nick`s amazing new role as a family man. Life with his beautiful twins and, of course, his beautiful wife, Mariah Carey. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT going one-on-one with Nick Cannon for a headline-making SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

It is time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

TEXT: Coldplay`s new album, "Mylo Xyloto" debuts at number one on Billboard charts. Rob Kardashian says "Dancing" allows him to break out of Kardashian mold.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROB KARDASHIAN, "DANCING WITH THE STARS" CONTESTANT: It`s a different show. I feel like people see a different side of me, just me by myself. So you know, it`s a very -- it`s a great thing. I feel like just people see a completely different side of me than what they see whoever watches our other show.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Get ready for a verdict countdown in the Michael Jackson death trial. Closing arguments are tomorrow. The jury could get the case then.

I can tell you with all of the evidence in, it looks like Conrad Murray is kind of boxed into a corner. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, is there any way the doctor can beat the rap?

With me tonight in Hollywood, defense attorney Debra Opri.

So Debra, we all remember what happened in the Casey Anthony trial. No one saw any scenario where she could get off. But the jury still felt the prosecution did not prove Casey`s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. And of course, she walked.

I`m curious. Do you think the prosecution in Murray`s case also failed to do that and Dr. Murray could possibly beat the rap because the jury might have reason for that?

OPRI: There`s two different standards here in terms with the evidence that was presented with Casey Anthony. There was reasonable doubt. The connection really never got made with -- Dr. Murray, unfortunately, he was there. He was the doctor.

He provided the propofol. He made statements to the police during their investigation. And I think there`s enough here that he will not be able to get an acquittal or a hung jury.

I think, at all times, he never should have testified. And I think his nail in his coffin -- that`s probably a poor choice of words -- was that his own defense doctor on the propofol said and admitted, "I never would have done what he did."

HAMMER: And quickly, Debra, when do you see the jury actually getting the case handed to them? Do you think they`ll be deliberating starting tomorrow?

OPRI: Well, if the closing arguments go through the early afternoon, I think they will get their bearings by the end of the day.

I think you`ll have a verdict by Friday. It`s not going to be a slow deliberation. It`s not going to be too fast, but it will be quick enough that Murray`s going to jail.

HAMMER: All right. We`ll see what happens. Debra Opri, thank you. Remember, HLN and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be right there Thursday, covering the closing arguments. It`s "Justice for Michael."

Stay with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT until the very end of the trial. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be live at 11:00 p.m. Eastern when the verdict is announced. Make sure you`re with us.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, and we`ve got big news breaking tonight -- Kardashian divorce dollars?

Could it be that Kim Kardashian might actually make more money from her divorce than her reported $18 million wedding payday? And maybe a single Kim is perhaps worth more than a married Kim any day.

With me right now in New York, TV and radio host, Michael Billy. In Hollywood tonight, Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly."

So Kim, not all that happy about all those reports that say she made millions off of her wedding to Kris Humphries.

Today, Kim spoke out for the very first time, and she`s saying, "You know what? The wedding was not a hoax. I didn`t make money from it." Check out what she just told Australia`s Network Ten.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KIM KARDASHIAN: From the start, there`s been so many different reports that, you know, just aren`t true, like my wedding cost $10 million or I got paid $20 million to have a wedding. And all of that`s just not true.

And you know, hearing that kind of stuff, like, I married for love. Anyone that would, you know, get married for a TV show -- it`s just, you know, ridiculous. And it`s just sad that I even have to defend that.

I guess that`s the kind of scrutiny you get when you live your life on a reality show. But everything I do is, you know, just for love. And I`m a hopeless romantic. And I, you know, wouldn`t have -- I don`t know.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Man, she looks exhausted, doesn`t she? All right. Whether or not Kim did or did not make $20 million by getting married, her mom, Kris Jenner, did admit today that she did earn money from selling her wedding and honeymoon photos to magazines.

And let`s remember this divorce is really, in my mind, only adding fuel to the Kardashian locomotive. So here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- could Kim bank more from the divorce than her wedding? Michael Billy?

BILLY: Could she bank more? Of course, she could bank more. This is her job. This is her living. Taking a sex tape and making a mountain out of it, OK?

I feel like when she wrote that letter to her fans, she was sitting on top of a pile of Scrooge McDuck money. I`m telling you, I am not buying this at all.

HAMMER: Oh, not at all?

BILLY: She blames the media and the press? Anybody who watched that television show leading up to that marriage would have seen that there was red flag after red flag between commercial breaks.

HAMMER: It`s interesting when you hear her just now saying, "I guess when you live your life on a reality show, there`s going to be more scrutiny." Yes.

BILLY: Hey. Hello.

HAMMER: Let`s think about the possibilities though in terms of this moneymaking and all of the opportunities. There are reports today that Kim could make $500,000 for her first tell-all interview.

She could get a new book deal out of this. She already gets $10,000 to tweet. Her appearance fees could soar with all of the new interest in her.

And of course, more people, I believe, are going to be driven to watch her multiple reality shows. Rachel Zalis, let me throw you our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- could Kim bank more from the divorce than her wedding?

ZALIS: First of all, I have to say, I`m not as cynical as Michael over there. I don`t think she got married for TV. But I think TV definitely sped it along. But of course, she could make a fortune.

I mean, everything she tweets makes a gazillion dollars. Her first TV appearance announcing the divorce is one where she`s promoting the Kardashian collection.

Don`t forget she has a new series coming up in New York. We`re going to be able to see the dissolution of the marriage. And that`s going to go gangbusters in the ratings.

And the truth is, like, when she first announced the divorce, I thought maybe there`s a chance that they were still going to work it out. But then, shockingly, she un-followed him on Twitter.

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: It is over. You know that means it`s terrible.

HAMMER: Well, listen, everybody`s now wondering, is there going to be some sympathy for her out of this? And would that even help her make more money?

Take a look at our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll where we asked, "Kardashian Divorce Drama: Who do you feel sorry for?" Only two percent say Kim. Thirty-four percent said Kris. Sixty-three percent say neither.

So it will be interesting to see if that lack of sympathy hurts her in any way. I`m here to say I don`t think it will. Michael Billy, Rachel Zalis, I thank you both.

Well, Kim certainly has to win back support of some of her fans. But what about Hollywood? What do they think of Kim`s big divorce?

Let`s go right to Hollywood right now, because I`m thinking who better to ask than family man, Nick Cannon. Nick just revealed adorable new photos of his twins with wife Mariah Carey on their Web site, "ThemBabies.com."

Nick is also starring in a new reality show, "Up All Night." The one and only Nick Cannon joining me from Hollywood for the SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Great to see you, Nick.

NICK CANNON, REALITY TV STAR: Great so see you, too, A.J. How have you been?

HAMMER: I`ve been great, man. I guess you`ve had a little news in your life since the last we were together. You had a couple of kids.

CANNON: Absolutely.

HAMMER: Now, obviously -- obviously, Nick, the Kardashian story is top of mind right now. I know you re-tweeted it actually when the story first broke.

CANNON: Right.

HAMMER: You yourself have one of the most successful marriages in Hollywood. It`s great to see how happy you guys are. I`ve got to ask you, what was your reaction when you heard the news that Kim and Kris were getting a divorce after just 72 days?

CANNON: I mean, it`s unfortunate, honestly. And I think Kim hit it on the head when, you know, you`re in the public eye, you`re going to be dealing with a ton of scrutiny.

And I honestly say, knowing the Kardashian clan, knowing their family, they`re built for this. They`ll be able to bounce back and they`ll be fine.

And you know, it`s sad that you have to deal with these type of things in the public eye. But they`ve been dealing with this for seasons.

HAMMER: Yes. Yes, and I get the impression they accept that they do have to deal with it because this is sort of what they teamed up for in their life by putting it all out there, which they`re very happy to do.

They say that over and over. And Kim opened up in this letter to her fans she posted online, saying her wedding wasn`t a hoax, because there are people out there thinking that it is.

She says, "I married for love. I can`t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show."

She is, you know -- as we`re saying, they are on a reality show. That makes it tough for people to believe the whole thing was for true love.

And let`s face it, because she did it on TV, that is why she`s getting slammed for getting divorced so soon. In my mind, I think it was kind of a no-win situation. Do you feel some sympathy for her?

CANNON: I do. I feel sympathy for her because of a simple fact when my wife and I got married in 2008, us both being hopeless romantics. It was a whirlwind marriage, only knowing each other for a short period of time.

You know, I remember the media hoopla around it and everybody saying, "Oh, it`s not real and this is fake and it won`t last." When you have that type of energy brought to you, you have to be extremely strong.

And you have to -- that`s all you really have to rely on is your love because it`s almost like the public kind of wants you to fail so they can go, "Oh, I knew that."

HAMMER: Yes.

CANNON: That`s where the sympathy comes from, from me.

HAMMER: Well, you know, I love that you guys stay in control of the story and the situation in your life as much as you can. Let`s talk for a minute about your adorable twins with the beautiful Mariah Carey, Monroe and Moroccan.

Roc and Roe, you called them, the last time you were here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. So here you are, this big star on "America`s Got Talent" and "Up All Night." You`re married to one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.

Of course, people want to see these babies. You could have cashed in big- time. But no, you did something I love. You posted the first photos yourself on your own Web site, "ThemBabies.com." Why did you decide to do that?

CANNON: There were a few reasons. People are saying why did we wait six months to even reveal them? And we didn`t want to sell the pictures to a tabloid because I felt really strange about, you know, selling anything that had to do with my children.

HAMMER: Sure.

CANNON: And then, we didn`t want it to be a tabloid paparazzi type of shot either. My wife has a great relationship with, you know, Barbara Walters. So she thought that would be good to sit down with her.

And then, I came up with the idea to, like -- well, we have a family blog. I picked up this new hobby of taking pictures. Why not let`s just put the pictures out there for the world to see so we`re not selling it.

HAMMER: Perfect. Great move, Nick. And listen, I want to hear about your life with Mariah and the twins now. Please, stay right where you are, all right?

CANNON: Got you.

HAMMER: All right. Well, I`ve also got to get Nick`s take on this story. And if it`s a hoax, it`s very twisted. Does baby-faced Bieber have a baby of his own? A woman says 17-year-old Justin Bieber is the father of his son. She claims they had sex backstage at a concert.

And I`m loving this -- time for more "American Pie." Stifler, Finch, Oz, the entire class of `99, back for the reunion.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: It`s like a high school party with high school chicks.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: I love the "Twilight" books. "New Moon" is my favorite.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Mine, too.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Oh, my god. It`s like we have so much in common.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: They`ve gotten older, but they haven`t grown up. We`ve got your first SHOWBIZ look at "American Reunion." This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" -- more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

HAMMER: Are you feeling the fever? That`s pop star, Justin Bieber, performing on "Dancing with the Stars" last night. He wowed the crowd.

But on the very same night, a startling report came out about a woman claiming the Biebs fathered her child.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, a Bieber baby?

A shocking claim that Justin Bieber has fathered a child. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT learned today that a California woman has filed a lawsuit demanding the DNA tests to prove it.

I`m going to get to that in just a moment. But first, I want to bring in Nick Cannon. Nick, of course, the host of "America`s Got Talent." Nick also stars in the NBC show, "Up All Night."

Let me begin first by talking about what I imagine has to be a very exciting new family life for you. Your lovely wife, Mariah Carey. Your adorable twin babies, Moroccan and Monroe.

We just got a first look at them on ABC`s "20/20." And I have to ask, Nick, please tell me, what is your absolute favorite thing about being a dad?

CANNON: Oh, man. I can`t pinpoint one thing, A.J. But I have to say, it`s probably when I come home and to see my children recognize me. And you see the excitement on their faces when they see me. There`s no feeling better than that.

HAMMER: Yes. Instant peace, I`m sure. All right. But now that you copped to that, Nick, you`ve got to tell me your least favorite part is. I know there`s at least one thing that you didn`t have to do or be a part of it, that would be OK with you.

CANNON: Honestly, I love every part of it, even the tough parts of changing the diapers -- up in the middle of the night. All that stuff.

HAMMER: Really?

CANNON: It`s part of it. Yes. I`m enjoying being a father.

HAMMER: Oh, good.

CANNON: You take the good with the bad.

HAMMER: Yes, that`s true. I guess, a small price to pay for all the joy, all of the tough stuff that comes along with it.

We did hear Mariah say she sings to the babies to calm them down when they`re home. What kind of trick do you have, Nick, when you`re on daddy duty, if they`re screaming and crying?

CANNON: I just clap my hands real loud. For some reason, that is mesmerizing to a six-month --

HAMMER: Perfect. Perfect. All right. Listen, we`ve got to talk about the other reported baby news today. This is wild to me.

There`s a report that a 20-year-old California woman is claiming Justin Bieber got her pregnant and is now suing Justin Bieber demanding he take a DNA test.

Take a look at what Bieber`s rep just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT about all these things. They say, as you would expect, "While we haven`t yet seen the lawsuit, it`s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."

Now, Nick, you`ve been at this a long time. You`ve been on stage since, what, you were about eight years old. You traveled the world, facing legions of female fans.

You know what the life is like. You know what comes with the territory. What do you say to Justin Bieber, who is newer to it, at a time like this?

CANNON: Right. I mean -- keep your family close to you more than anything. Justin Bieber has an outstanding family and a good support system around him. So, as -- you know, I`ve known Justin since he was a preteen.

And the kid actually does have his head on straight. So I would say just continue to stay focused. I mean, we all hope that these allegations are false. And if they are, it`s pretty sad --

HAMMER: Yes.

CANNON: That, you know, someone can just kind of come out of nowhere and attack someone`s character like this. But I`m rooting for Justin on this one.

HAMMER: It seems to me he`s taken the right attitude with it. He tweeted today saying, "I`m going to ignore the rumors and focus on what`s real, an opportunity to help by doing what I love. Judge me on the music. Love you all."

It sounds like he`s not worried about this at all. Should he be or not, in your opinion, Nick?

CANNON: I don`t believe he should be just because, I mean, there`s allegations that come from everywhere, especially -- he`s the biggest young star in the world right now.

HAMMER: Yes.

CANNON: So there`s always something that`s bound to come out. And I believe they`ll handle it wisely.

HAMMER: All right. For you, so much going on between "America`s Got Talent," your new NBC show, "Up All Night." You have the Facebook project, too, called the "Wonka Wrapper." It`s allowing kids to log on to the site to get to wave their favorite candy in front of the computer camera.

CANNON: Yes.

HAMMER: And (UNINTELLIGIBLE) playing. I know you`re building a candy room in your house with Mariah. Is that what inspired you?

CANNON: I`ve always been a huge fan of, you know, the Wonka brand and the fact that they`ve always represented creativity. And you know, as a kid, I always wanted a candy store in my house and it sounded far-fetched.

But my friends at Wonka have allowed that dream to come true. And with "Wonka Wrapper," everybody can get a piece of that dream, because if you go to their Facebook page, it`s this cool technology to where it`s like motion control.

You can take any brand of candy, and my favorite brand is Nerds, you can make music like you`re producing beats and deejaying right in front of adults.

HAMMER: Perfect. That`s pretty cool. Pretty cool to have that dream realized. Nick, always great to see you, my friend. Thanks so much.

CANNON: Always a pleasure, A.J.

HAMMER: I do have to move on right now. We have an indy couple -- an indy it couple calling it quits. Also a grateful Grace surviving another week on "Dancing with the Stars." Yes, Nancy`s fancy footwork topping "The Buzz Today."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over) Grace escapes. HLN`s own Nancy Grace has just made it through yet another round of eliminations on "Dancing with the Stars" despite being at the bottom of the judge`s scores.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there when the results showed, as it was revealed, David Arquette was cut.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: David and Kim.

HAMMER: And Nancy will dance another day.

NANCY GRACE, HOST, "NANCY GRACE": I`m just thinking of everybody that has tuned in and watched us and taken the time to vote, to care, about Tristan and care about me and what we`re trying to do. I`m just very, very grateful. I feel like my prayers were answered tonight.

HAMMER: The new girl calls it quits. Zooey Deschanel and rocker husband, Ben Gibbard, have just announced they`re done as a duo. Gibbard`s rep confirms to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that they are separating. Zooey, who currently stars in the new TV show, "The New Girl," married the front man for "Death Camp for Cutie" in 2009.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: So "American Pie," one of those movie classics that never gets old and one of my favorite movies ever -- get ready for another slice. The entire gang is back.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: This is like a high school party.

HAMMER: When the cinematic classic, "American Pie," came out, it was an over-the-top comedy left us begging for more. It is hard to believe it`s been more than 10 years since it first came out.

And now, the boys are back. They may have gotten older, but they haven`t grown up. Here now is your SHOWBIZ first look at "American Reunion."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

(MUSIC)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: One of these days, he`s going to be able to go to bed on his own, right?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Ladies, better be working hard. You weren`t hired for your looks. Actually, you were. Not you.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: That smells great. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) to watch "Real Housewives."

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You know who my favorite housewife is? You.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: The reunion, you in? Seems like everyone`s actually going.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Hey, guys, you made it.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: What`s up, class of `99ers.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: We`re going to party together --

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Hell, yes.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Just like old times.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Let`s make this reunion our bitch.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: It is.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You`re a lucky man, oz.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Hey, guys, you need to stare?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Yes. We do need to stare.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Did I tell you how exciting it is to see all of you kids back in town?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You know, dad, it`s been three years. You think maybe it`s time for you to get back out there?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Have a shot.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: No. I don`t think so, Steven. I`m not --

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Drink it. Drink it. Drink it. Drink it.

ANNOUNCER: "American Reunion."

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Who might you be?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: I`m Stifler`s mom.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Oh, I`m Jim`s dad.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was pretty good. All right. Who can forget when Hugh Grant got arrested with a prostitute back in the day? He owned up to it on national TV.

But now, Hugh is in a bit of a pickle again. He has a baby with a woman he barely knows. You`ve got to hear how Hugh is handling this one.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Hugh`s brutally honest baby announcement. I mean, let`s face it. When it comes to celebrity statements, they`re usually candy-coated. You know the type, right? The couple have split, but they remain good friends. I married for love. Heard that recently.

And then, we have Hugh Grant. Hugh Grant just confirmed that he`s now a dad. But the way that news was confirmed should go down in history as one of the most memorable of all-time.

Listen to this, "I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair. And while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms." Well done, Hugh Grant.

That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively Sunday to Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.

Stay right here for "DR. DREW," next. Tonight, was the judge too soft on Lindsay Lohan? "DR. DREW" starts right now on HLN.
