Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight - the remarkable drama after the verdict. You know what they say, it ain`t over until it`s over.
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that just because the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray is over and just because he has been convicted of causing the death of Michael Jackson, the outrage, the anger, the drama, it isn`t over yet.
There were disturbing reports that after Conrad Murray was handcuffed and led away from the court to a jail cell, he was put on a suicide watch.
And tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is going to get to the truth on that. When Murray is sentenced in a few weeks on November 29th, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that he may actually also wind up facing Michael Jackson`s kids in court, face-to-face with Dr. Murray for the first time since the night their father died.
And we also learned today that, as outrageous as it may seem, Dr. Murray could actually profit from all that time leading up to his trial and it`s all caught on tape.
With me tonight, someone who knew Michael Jackson very personally, very well, his friend and spiritual adviser, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.
And in Hollywood tonight, famed defense attorney, Debra Opri, who has worked on some of the high-profile cases of recent times, including the Michael Jackson molestation trial and the Anna Nicole Smith paternity battle.
I want to star with just how Dr. Conrad Murray might get to cash in on his notoriety while he was waiting for the trial for involuntary manslaughter.
He was quietly was letting a documentary crew follow him around. And this Friday, that documentary, which they`re calling, "Michael Jackson and the Doctor," is going to air on MSNBC.
Well, this morning, we saw some of it on NBC`s "Today" show. I want you to take a look at Murray talking about his friendship with Michael Jackson. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MURRAY: He said, "Of all my life, I have found one friend, which is you, Dr. Conrad. I think of many ways, you know, there are some mirror images of our lives, especially we don`t have the full appreciation from our fathers.
He had a dad who never hugged him, never hugged his own children. He lived a life greater than 100 years of pain.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: This is actually stunning to me because we`ve heard so little from the doctor in his own words. And of course, no one is confirming this, but it`s a safe bet that Dr. Murray was paid for the documentary.
I mean, after all, he can`t practice medicine. He probably needs the money. That leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, is it OK for the doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson to make money from a documentary?
Rabbi Shmuley, you were friends with Michael Jackson. It may certainly be legal for the doctor to earn money from a documentary like this, but is it OK?
RABBI SHMULEY BOTEACH, FRIEND AND SPIRITUAL ADVISOR TO MICHAEL JACKSON: It`s absolutely morally reprehensible. And I`m actually very disappointed in MSNBC if they paid him.
The fact is that Conrad Murray a liar. No matter what he says in the documentary, you can`t believe a word he says. He has shown no remorse for killing Michael Jackson.
This is a man who leveraged Michael`s fame to pick up strippers and to talk to them while Michael was struggling to breathe. I mean, this story is so outrageous. It might have been slightly forgivable if Michael died because Conrad Murray was dealing with an emergency with one of his kids on the phone - oh, he fell asleep.
But the man was speaking to three women at the time that Michael could not breathe. Why should we elevate this man as some sort of hero?
Why is he in a documentary? And where is the press` responsibility that they would give this man a shot in primetime to make his case when he`s had every opportunity to get up and say that he regrets that he used a hospital-grade anesthetic to put a troubled superstar to sleep when Michael Jackson was in deep psychological turmoil?
What kind of doctor is this? He`s a fraud from head to toe. And I`m absolutely outraged and disgusted both at MSNBC and Dr. Conrad Murray`s action.
HAMMER: It goes without saying -
BOTEACH: They are part of very his base character. That`s who this man is.
HAMMER: Yes. So it doesn`t surprise you at all that he would let the cameras follow him around ultimately perhaps to cash in.
Now, whether Murray gets the maximum prison sentence or gets no prison time at all, well, he`s probably always going to be known as the man who killed Michael Jackson.
I can see why he - trying to get into his mind - why he would probably want to do whatever he could to change the perception that he is some sort of an evil monster.
Debra Opri, I want to get your take on our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint. Is it OK, in any way, for Dr. Murray, convicted of killing Michael Jackson, to make money for a documentary?
DEBRA OPRI, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: I don`t think so, but the fact remains, legally, he`s entitled to do that. And if he was approached and provided income for his story at whatever point in time, we must understand that the deal was made before he became a convicted felon, and people wanted to hear his side of the story.
I think it`s morally reprehensible as well. However, like most people, he has a story to tell and people will tune in and MSNBC or NBC, whoever made the deal with him - they paid for it and it will be aired during, what, ratings - a key ratings stake in our forum.
So if you look at Conrad Murray, who is he to say no? He had attorneys` fees, bills to pay. He has to earn a living and if that was the offer that was put on the table - it`s morally reprehensible, but why should he have said no if he had these bills?
I don`t agree that it should have been done but people will tune in to hear his side of the story.
HAMMER: Yes. It`s really interesting to me, Debra, because I haven`t spoken to anybody about this since we learned of the documentary that said anything other than it`s pretty disgusting.
And tonight, you have Murray sitting in a Los Angeles jail cell. There was a troubling report today that he was actually put on a suicide watch when he was waiting for his sentencing.
OPRI: I don`t think so.
HAMMER: Well, here`s the story on that. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did look into it today. You`d actually be surprised at what we found out. Some pretty interesting details here.
The L.A. County Sheriff`s Department tells us, yes, Dr. Murray is being held in the same part of the jail that has his inmates who are on suicide watch. But Dr. Murray is only there because there are more guards to protect him.
Now, last night on CNN`s "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT," one of Murray`s attorneys said that Murray is trying to stay positive through all this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
NAREG GOURJIAN, CONRAD MURRAY DEFENSE TEAM MEMBER: He was clearly devastated. He loved Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson was one of his closest friends. So being convicted of causing Mr. Jackson`s death was devastating to Dr. Murray.
I`m not concerned about his mental condition. Like I previously said, he is devastated as to the jury`s verdict, but as far as his mental state goes, he`s good. You know, he`s going to be positive.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: It was hard for us to know what he was thinking because he remained stone-faced through that entire hearing yesterday.
Let me go to E`s chief news correspondent, Ken Baker. Ken`s in Hollywood tonight. So Ken, I want to get your take on our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint. Now that he`s convicted in jail, should we have any reason to feel sorry for Conrad Murray?
KEN BAKER, CHIEF NEWS CORRESPONDENT, E!: Well, I mean, that`s a question of, you know, should we have compassion for people that have messed up and made big mistakes?
Yes. I mean, sure, we should. That`s something we would tell our kids, right? I mean, forgive people, provide compassion.
But guess what? Right now, people don`t feel sorry for him. He did something really stupid. And as Rabbi Shmuley said, he lied. It was brought out in the trial that he lied.
He tried to cover it up and the jury believed that. And that`s why he`s sitting in a jail cell tonight. And so, he`s a grown man. He`s 58 years old. He knew - he was rolling the dice every night.
He said, for over two months, he was giving propofol to Michael Jackson every night in his home without the proper equipment, without the monitoring.
So every night, he was rolling the dice that he would commit a homicide. And that`s exactly what happened and he got caught. And now, he`s in a world of hurt and he`s suffering the consequences.
HAMMER: And my whole thought, really, over these last 24 hours has been about the kids. Will this finally help them to move on? I thought it was terrific that they were so well-shielded from being a part of this whole drama surrounding the trial.
"Radar Online" reported today that prosecutors are actually in favor of Michael`s three kids speaking at Dr. Murray`s sentencing.
Again, we didn`t see Prince. We didn`t see Paris. We didn`t see Blanket anywhere near the courtroom during Murray`s trial.
Michael Jackson`s mom, Katherine, who has been caring for the kids, reportedly made sure of that. Listen, Rabbi Shmuley, do you think, in any way, Jackson`s kids should face Murray?
I can imagine if it would be of psychological help to them to face him, great. I don`t think they need the kids` help in getting sentence, you know, to be any more full than it`s going to be.
BOTEACH: In the 30 hours of conversations that I`ve taped with Michael to create the Michael Jackson tapes, the main thing that he returns to over and over again is that he was scarred indelibly by not having had a childhood, by the fact that he was thrust into the public eye at too young an age.
He did everything that he could to shield his children from that publicity. So the idea that we would now put them front and center in this trial - I remember Michael calling me up once, 1:00 in the morning from Neverland, crying on the phone that Prince was three years old and a for thing to photographer got a picture of him.
I think it was "The News of the World" which is now defunct. And he wanted to know if I contact (UNINTELLIGIBLE) to get the picture out. That was the extent to which he did everything to give his kids privacy, and they should not be testifying at this trial.
HAMMER: Yes. I`m right there with you. All right. Rabbi Shmuley, great to see you. Thank you. Debra Opri, thank you. Ken Baker, I thank you as well.
Got to get to more big news tonight about Michael Jackson`s kids. The verdict in the death trial may mean closure for them, possibly, but what is next? You`ve got to see this. Tonight, we`re going to show you how they are moving on, even following in their father`s footsteps into show business.
Where in the world is Kim Kardashian? First, she went to Australia. Then, she ended up in Kris Humphries hometown. Where is she now? Has the divorce now forced her underground?
Bieber in Peril? Well, the woman accusing Justin Bieber of fathering her child says she has proof. Bieber has got a remarkable plan, however, to prove that he`s not the baby`s father. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

ANN CURRY, CO-ANCHOR, THE "TODAY" SHOW: I understand you have a big announcement this morning?
MICHELLE DUGGAR, REALITY TV STAR: Yes, we do. We really are excited as we are expecting our 20th child.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: That is insane to me. The big old family starring on the TLC reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," just revealed on the "Today" show they are adding a 20th baby to the brood.
Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that they are due in April. She`s feeling great. So now, obviously, I think they`re going to have to change the name of the show again, although I`m also guessing they are more worried about the added diaper duty at the moment.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, startling new reports today about Michael Jackson`s kids.
Deputy D.A., David Walgren, reportedly just told Katherine Jackson that Michael`s kids are welcome to speak out at Dr. Conrad Murray`s sentencing, which, of course, happens later on this month.
But the question is, should they speak out? A lot of people do believe Monday`s guilty verdict will give the kids - finally, give them some closure.
But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you the kids have already started the process of healing by laying the groundwork to following the footsteps of their father into show business. Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter with a SHOWBIZ special report.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): With amazing moves and a stimulating voice, Michael Jackson became an entertainment sensation.
Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you his oldest kids want to follow their dad`s path. The heirs to the King of Pop are going into show business, says CNN`s Alan Duke.
ALAN DUKE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Paris is interested now in acting, being a teenage actress. I think we`ll see that. And Prince is interested in getting into the business side of entertainment. And I think we`re going to see that very soon.
WYNTER: Katherine Jackson confirmed the news exclusively to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. She`s raising Michael`s kids and tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT 13-year- old Paris and 14-year-old Prince are getting ready for their close up.
KATHERINE JACKSON, MOTHER OF MICHAEL JACKSON: They are taking acting lessons. This is what they want to do. And well, Paris really wants to be an actress.
WYNTER (on camera): So the entertainment world - that doesn`t scare them at all, it sounds.
K. JACKSON: No, not at all.
WYNTER (voice-over): Alan Duke says that some powerful people in the entertainment industry are looking out for Paris and Prince.
DUKE: Will and Jada Smith have helped both of them. They have been going to acting classes with Will and Jada`s children. And no doubt that that family will open doors for the Jackson children.
WYNTER: Since their father`s tragic death, M.J.`s kids have stepped out on world stage, most recently appearing at a tribute concert to Michael in Wales. And Paris proved that ease on camera when she spoke over the summer about her dad.
PARIS JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON`S DAUGHTER: One of the greatest and nicest guys ever.
WYNTER: But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT wants to know, if the kids go into show business, are they risking heartache? Publicist Marvet Britto, who`s helped guide the careers of Mariah Carey, Kim Cattrall and Angela Bassett among others, says Paris and Prince face the crushing weight of expectation.
MARVET BRITTO, PUBLICIST: You really are under a magnifying glass. And the public expects you to be as great or greater than your - than the legacy from which you come.
WYNTER: And there`s another risk. Their wealth and budding fame could attract false friends and users.
DUKE : There are people who will try to attach themselves to Paris, Prince, and maybe even young Blanket. Prince Jackson I know is thinking hard about who he can trust.
WYNTER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal a wary Prince tweeted recently, "People behind you are opportunists. People in front of you are enemies. And people beside you are lasting friends." Entrepreneurs are already approaching him with endorsement deals.
DUKE: Prince Jackson, they say, is bankable. And yes, a lot of products would like his endorsement, would like to associate themselves with Prince Jackson because of his father.
WYNTER: Their father is gone but the children can count on savvy aunts, uncles and grandparents to guide them through minefields the show business.
BRITTO: They certainly have mentors, you know -their Aunt Janet, the very individuals who shaped the legacy and built the Jackson Five family are still alive and still very much in the lives of these children.
WYNTER: Marvet Britto tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT one thing is key to the kids` success.
BRITTO: The best advice that I could give Michael Jackson`s children is to stay grounded, to learn everything that they can about the business, to educate themselves about the business.
WYNTER: Britto says if they do that, anything is possible.
BRITTO: I wouldn`t be surprised if they were able to be guided, to be just as successful as Michael Jackson was.
WYNTER: And that would make them truly worthy heirs to the King of Pop.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
HAMMER: If they don`t have massive talent, that would be truly shocking. That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.
Well, tonight, I`ve got to ask, where in the world is Kim Kardashian? Her remarkable disappearing act. Is she with Kris Humphries? Is she hiding underground? Plus, why divorced women everywhere are supporting Kim tonight.
And the brand-new "Glee" sex controversy. Yes, there is outrage tonight. I`ve got to tell about you about this episode that shows teenagers having sex for the first time. We`ll show you what "Glee" star Lea Michele had to say about that, coming up. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

NIKKI REED, ACTRESS: When you feel like it`s right, it is. They told me once and I`m so fine that there`s no need to even defend it because it totally was a whirlwind.

HAMMER: "Glee" in hot water again tonight over a sex-themed episode. On tonight`s "Glee" titled, "The First Time," two teen couples lose their virginity.
And I can tell you parents are outraged. But what does "Glee" star, Lea Michele have to say about her character`s first time? She talks to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Tonight, outrage over sex on "Glee." The Parents Television Council calls the brand-new episode about teens having sex for the first time reprehensible.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just caught up with "Glee" star, Lea Michele at "Glamour`s" Women of the Year Awards last night. And she tells us the sex scene, not as steamy as it looks.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LEA MICHELE, ACTRESS: It was so hot. Me and Cory were rolling around on the ground together. It`s actually quite interesting because you watch these scenes, and then you don`t think that there are 20 crew members surrounding you.
We were sitting by a hot fireplace. Cory was hot. I was hot. It`s not as sexy as it looks, but I adore him. He`s my - I`m so lucky that I get to play opposite him and work with him.
He`s so gorgeous and he`s so kind. And he made me so comfortable, you know. I think he did some sci-fi movie back in the day where he had a sex scene, so this wasn`t his first. But I was a virgin as you could say, so he made me really comfortable.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, now, we know. As for the controversy, yes, I`m betting, it isn`t over yet.
So the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook wall absolutely lit up when the verdict came in for the Michael Jackson death trial. Of course, Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of causing M.J.`s death.
And we asked you, did the jury get it right? Susan P. writes, "I agree with the verdict. Dr. Murray shouldn`t have left the room that day. Michael had issues but, ultimately, Dr. Murray made the choice to use that drug and left the room."
Ronne R. writes, "They got it right, but no one really wins. The verdict is closure for the family, but Michael is gone for good."

(MUSIC)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight. Where in the world is Kim Kardashian? We want to know.
You know, first she jetted off to Australia to promote her Kardashian collection. That, of course, was just after her bombshell announcement that she was divorcing Kris Humphries after being married for just 72 days.
And then she cut that trip short and she hightailed into Minnesota to meet up with Kris. Now, she`s reportedly back in L.A. But I`ve got to know, why is she hiding?
Well, in a brand-new revealed today, her mom, Kris, said Kim needs to cry her eyes out. And Gayle King just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that we should actually give Kim credit for deciding the marriage wasn`t for her and getting out.
So here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - should Kim actually be applauded for getting out of her marriage early?
With me, in New York, Bonnie Fuller is the president and editor-in- chief of "HollywoodLife.com." Today, bonnie who posted a controversial editorial on her site slamming how Kim has handled this entire mess.
With me from Hollywood tonight is Wendy Walsh who is a psychologist and co-host of "The Doctors."
Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there at the "Glamour" Awards, honoring courageous and inspiring women in New York City on Monday night. Gayle King gave us what I thought was a surprising take on Kim Kardashian`s sudden divorce. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
G. KING: In a way, you have to hand it to her for deciding that maybe this marriage isn`t for her and to get out of it. I`m just sorry that it happened so quickly. I`m just so sorry that it happened so quickly.
But I don`t think anybody should stay in a marriage that they don`t think is for them. And I stand before you as a divorced person, making the decision to divorce is never easy, always painful, even when you think it`s the right decision. But that said, I don`t think you should stay in a marriage if you don`t think it`s for you.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I`ve got to say Gayle`s response is not what we`re hearing from a whole lot of people. But it really does make a lot of sense if you stop and think about it.
Now, Bonnie, I know you blogged today about Kim saying she needs to open up about her split from Kris. But to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think we should applaud Kim for getting out of her marriage early rather than dragging it on?
BONNIE FULLER, PRESIDENT AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, "HOLLYWOODLIFE.COM": I think that Kim should have given her marriage a little more of a try. I mean, I agree with Gayle, that if a marriage is wrong, you absolutely, both parties know it`s wrong, you`ve tried counseling, yes, then throw in the towel. Don`t torture yourself.
However, in this case, was 72 days long enough to really know? When you were madly in love, just 72 days before, maybe they should have taken a little more time to, you know, dig into the issues that they were having.
HAMMER: Yes. Unless there was a bigger going on that we don`t know about. Three months - less than three months. Hardly seems like enough time.
We did post this question on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page earlier today. We were flooded with posts. And I want to read a couple of them for you right now.
This is Rosalba E., "If Kim K. is unhappy or Kris is unhappy, they shouldn`t be together at least in marriage." So they kind of have the same point as Gayle.
But this is from Nicole H., "Why should she be applauded for getting married too soon, making a spectacle of herself and her relationship and then divorcing before she even had a chance to get settled into marriage?"
"Unless there was something drastic that happened during those 72 short days, such as abuse or infidelity, she never gave the marriage a fighting chance."
So Wendy, they`re really making the same points we are here. To our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, do you think that we should applaud Kim for getting out of her marriage so early?
WENDY WALSH, PSYCHOLOGIST AND CO-HOST OF "THE DOCTORS": I don`t think we should ever applaud the dissolution of any marriage. This should be a sad day. I think we should look at the - you know, Kim keeps saying that she`s under pressure and she was under pressure by, you know, the TV show and her family and the whole big wedding to go through with it.
Well, I think it shows that getting on reality television doesn`t help you be an authentic person. That`s the bottom line. But secondly, I think this big, huge lavish TV weddings just ridicule traditional marriage. And then to dump it 72 days -
HAMMER: Yes.
WALSH: Yes. If there was a huge boundary violation, if he murdered somebody, if he hit her, OK, then let`s hear about it. But if not, you know, the first years are when the speed bumps happen. Newlyweds go through this, Kim. Work it out.
HAMMER: And regardless of what people think about Kim bailing on her marriage so soon, her mother, Kris Jenner, is saying Kim needs to cry it all out, figure out exactly what`s going on. I want you to watch what she said in a brand-new interview with "Extra."
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KRIS JENNER, KIM KARDASHIAN`S MOTHER: She needs to do what she`s doing now and cry and figure it out or whatever she is doing, you know. And she`s going to make the right decision for her heart which she wears on her sleeve all the time. She`s a hopeless romantic so - I just want my kids to be OK.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Bonnie, I know you wrote today that you feel Kim owes everybody a big explanation. But hasn`t she basically given us one already?
FULLER: I think she needs to speak out and I`m not at all slamming her. I just think that there`s an awful lot of fans who are upset about this.
They really believed in the fairytale. They loved Kim. They went along with the marriage. They wanted her to be happy. And they are shocked and they`re upset by this quickie divorce.
And so, yes, I know, she posted a blog and saying that she is a hopeless romantic and that she wants a marriage, babies, the whole kit and caboodle.
HAMMER: Yes.
FULLER: We understand that. But I think she needs to even open up more. She does need to do an interview, a talk, where she makes us understand.
HAMMER: It will be interesting to see if she does that, because she does say she puts it all out there. So if she really does, if she really is that authentic, well, Kim, we`re waiting. Bonnie Fuller, Wendy Walsh, I thank you both.
"Twilight" secrets revealed tonight. I want you to get ready for a terrific headline-making SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview with "Twilight`s" Robert Pattison.
Now, the latest installment in the "Twilight" mega franchise - it`s called "Breaking Dawn" - will hit screens across America next week. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is revealing all the secrets behind the movie`s epic wedding between Pattinson`s Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart`s Bella Swan.
The big question tonight, could there on-screen marriage actually be real? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT one-on-one with Robert Pattinson.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You and Kristen had this - and you can see it - this undeniable chemistry on screen. I mean, it`s just easy - it looks like it translates so well.
PATTINSON: Yes. I mean, I think - yes, I think we do. I mean, we kind of have got very similar attitudes about (UNINTELLIGIBLE), kind of we have an energy when we`re doing stuff.
And I kind of felt that even in the audition. And I think that`s - I hope that`s why a lot of people picked up on the movie even after they read the book. So -
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There was a report out recently that you said during the wedding scene it was so real you guys actually got married. True? False?
PATTINSON: I thought, and I`m pretty sure what I said about this. There was a real priest. And he had kind of - I don`t know - a short-term memory lapse or something.
He kept forgetting the characters` names. He mixed us up with our real names, so I kind of said that as a joke. I just assumed we`re probably married. And we know what he technicalities of a - I`m happy just to see it may be true in some world.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Can I ask you a question from one of our fans of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT? OK. So Donna F. says "Twilight" has been such a huge part of your career. Are you sad to see the saga coming to an end?
PATTINSON: Yes, definitely. It`s kind of - it`s not just my career as well. I mean, it`s just years and years of familiarity. I mean, I`ve kind of spent four months in (UNINTELLIGIBLE) or wherever, Louisiana.
And there`s makeup. There`s costumes with the same people for years, and I`ve grown up with them. And it`s like leaving school.
It`s like leaving high school. It`s four years of it. So that`s pretty sad, but I`m still great friends with the majority of the people.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: That`s got to be something. As we move on tonight, how to smell like Lady Gaga. Not when she`s wearing her meat dress. The new Monster scent from the Mama Monster herself.

Well, today, a lawsuit was filed against "SNL" and Samberg over that video and another short called "Like a Box."
A pair of musicians say they actually created the music, sent it to Samberg and then he recorded his own lyrics over it without giving them any credit. Well, NBC Universal and Samberg are not commenting on the suit.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ tonight. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, show me the DNA.
Yes, this is really a classic case of he said, she said, between Justin Bieber and Mariah Yeater, the woman who claims that he is the father of her three-month-old child.
TMZ is reporting that Bieber will take a DNA test and then take her straight to court. And today, the Biebs struck back yet again, but that`s not in the story, my friend. Oh, no.
Tonight, we have the first interview with Mariah Yeater who spoke with "The Insider". Is she telling the truth? Judge for yourself.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MARIAH YEATER, WOMAN CLAIMING TO HAVE A LOVE CHILD WITH JUSTIN BIEBER: He immediately took a liking to me and we just got to talking. And you know, it was kind of me and him and other people out there.
And then he eventually asked me and said, "Would you mind if we can go somewhere and be alone?" And then when we got to what turned out to be a bathroom, his whole demeanor changed. It went from cute and gushy, you know, to just more aggressive.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: So do you believe her? With me tonight in Hollywood, defense attorney Debra Opri and "E`s" features correspondent, Ken Baker.
On the heels of Mariah`s claim, Justin Bieber was in this massive tweeting frenzy today, guys. I want to read to you what he tweeted.
He said, "So this past week and even today, every rumor and lie about me possible has been coming out in the press. Just need to ignore it. But even through all the crap and lies, my fans have been there for me."
Now, Ken Baker, I know you heard from the Biebs. I know you heard from this woman who reportedly accused another man of also being the fair of the child. Do you think anyone`s believing her?
BAKER: I do think that Justin Bieber`s hardcore fans, the "Beliebers" - and I know you`re one of them, A.J. -
HAMMER: Yes.
BAKER: Are having trouble believing this because they don`t want to believe it. But I have an approach to this kind of scandal stories.
I trust that you`re telling me the truth, but I need to verify that. And the only way to verify the story is going to be a paternity test.
Justin Bieber has said that - or his people have said that he will take a test when he comes back from Europe and we`re assuming he`s back very soon.
And there will be a test and there will be some resolution to this. But one thing is clear - either someone`s lying or someone`s extremely delusional here.
HAMMER: Yes.
BAKER: And it`s going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
HAMMER: Well, and even after the paternity test, Justin Bieber`s lawyers say they are ready to slap a big time defamation suit on Mariah Yeater.
You can certainly understand why he would want to do that. But in that emotional interview with "The Insider," she says she has big proof that he`s the father and she already gave it to her lawyers. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There are people watching this that are not going to believe what you`re saying.
YEATER: I have provided evidence to my attorneys and it will show in court to prove that my allegations are true.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Can I ask you what that proof might be or can we have any -
YEATER: I`m sorry. No.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Debra Opri, I`m no attorney. I come from a family of attorneys, however. I happen to know though frivolous lawsuits are not allowed.
So you`ve got to believe that the lawyers possibly have something. But I need to know from you, what kind of mess will Mariah be in if it turns out Justin is not the baby`s father?
OPRI: Defamation, slander - there will be a lawsuit. But what does he hope to prove other than he`s going to look good by suing her because she has no money?
Somebody is lying. I agree with Ken. Somebody is lying. They can`t both be telling the truth. What I think is the DNA test is going to either say bye-bye baby or bye-bye Justin.
Justin Bieber, in my opinion, should not be saying anything further. He should basically say, "We`re going to do a DNA test and we`ll let the test talk."
And I think this girl is out there not looking too good. And for her to be saying her lawyers on television, to be saying, "Hey, I`ve got the evidence but, no, I can`t tell you what it is now, but stay tuned," I just think that`s incredibly, incredibly irresponsible by her attorneys and I don`t recommend that.
HAMMER: And hopefully, he will heed your advice as well. Justin not the only one who is feeling the pressure of young stardom, by the way.
In a brand-new interview with Ellen DeGeneres that aired today, Kristen Dunst talked about how she`s finally come out of the other side after dealing with all of the pressures that began when she was a child star.
We just spoke with Kirsten who is promoting her new movie, "Melancholia." And she told us she had a plan from the very beginning to help her cope with the mounting pressures of being in the spotlight. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DUNST: I have a really good family. I have really good friends. I always went to normal schools. I think that always helped. And I always did age- appropriate movies.
Yes, "Interview with a Vampire" was my first film, but then, after that, it was always, like, teen comedies. Or I just always did films that I think that people my age would watch.
So that also I think, like, helps with longevity. You know, don`t try to be and all of these adult films when you`re a child, like do things that you actually relate to and have fun doing.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Seems like Kirsten`s figured it out. What do you think, Ken? Any lessons Justin Bieber can learn from her as he deals with all these craziness with young fame?
BAKER: Well, I mean, she has admitted suffering depression and going reportedly into rehab for that and treatment. Let`s hope Justin doesn`t go in that direction.
But I think the lesson is what we`ve seen a lot. Look, she mentioned "Interview with the Vampire." She was 10 years old. She`s now I think 29. She`s had a full career and she`s not even 30 years old.
Of course, she went through a lot of struggle and adjustment to that. But it is great that she`s gotten it together. She has great perspective finally. I think that Justin - the thing that worries me is that he`s surrounded by a lot of adults and that can be a problem like Kirsten said.
OPRI: She`s a working actor. He`s a performer.
HAMMER: And hopefully, adults who aren`t enablers. Debra Opri, Ken Baker, thank you both.
Moving on to Kelly Osbourne`s concussion confession. What really happened at that Miami dance club that took Kelly to the hospital? Kelly`s mom is telling all.

TAYLOR LAUTNER, ACTOR: The birth scene was one of my favorite to film because it was just having Bella/Kristen who lay down. You know, I certainly have enough role models and did when I was growing up without ever having to look at TV or magazines.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: I`ve got to agree with Wendy. The best role models are the ones that you find at home. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
