Hello, I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell in New York for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight -- all-American fallout.
There is explosive backlash today from Hollywood and beyond after retail giant, Lowe`s, pulled its ads from TV`s reality show "All American Muslim." Some say Lowe`s gave in to pressure from anti-Muslim groups.
Lowe`s says no, not so. Now, we`ve got an all-American battle brewing over a show that offers a slice of life for American families who just happen to be Muslims. So is prejudice at work here?
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with a reality TV war that`s just heating up.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Shut the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up!
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Don`t tell me to shut the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) up!
VELEZ-MITCHELL (voice-over): For once, it`s not "Jersey Shore" stirring up the big reality show controversy of the day, nor is it "Teen Mom" or any one of the 300 Kardashian shows.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We see families coming together.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Today, an all-out reality show war is raging over TLC`s "All American Muslim," a show that follows five Muslim-American families living in Michigan.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: By wearing the hijab and dressing more modestly, it turns the eye away from the woman so (UNINTELLIGIBLE) and bad manners.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Since its debut in October, "All American Muslim" has been getting more than one million viewers a week.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m scared about being a mom.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: But now, the home improvement chain, Lowe`s, has announced it`s pulling its ads from the show because of outside pressure.
ALEXIS TERESZCUK, SENIOR REPORTER, "RADAR ONLINE": Lowe`s received a lot of complaints from an organization called the Florida Family Association.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: The conservative group, Florida Family Association, calls the show, quote, "propaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda`s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values."
DAVID CATON, FLORIDA FAMILY ASSOCIATION: The show portrays these five Muslim families that are not representative of the entire Muslim faith. And for this program to show these people, which I wish they were all like this.
SUEHAILA AMEN, APPEARS ON "ALL-AMERICAN MUSLIM": The show is representative of Americans who practice Islam.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Suehaila Amen is featured on "All American Muslim." She tells a Michigan news station that Lowe`s decision is unfortunate.
AMEN: Every company is entitled to pull their sponsorship if they so choose. Sadly, you don`t want to see anybody that leads to hatred and bigotry.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And today, some big stars are rallying to support "All American Muslim" and to hammer Lowe`s. Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons is calling for a full-on boycott of the chain if it doesn`t reverse its decision.
He tweets, quote, "Dear Lowe`s, you made a grave mistake by caving in to hatred and bigotry. Do right thing. Be American and embrace diversity."
Mia Farrow has also joined the Lowe`s bashing.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: This is just a bomb.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: He`s got a bomb!
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And so has actor Kal Penn who plays Kumar in the "Harold and Kumar" movies. He tweets, quote, "Our next movie, `Harold and Kumar Do Not Go to Lowe`s.`"
TERESZCUK: The reaction in Hollywood has been intense. Stars are flocking to defend the show. They`re taking to their Twitter accounts to urge their supporters not to support Lowe`s.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And how`s Lowe`s responding to the controversy? On its Facebook page, Lowe`s writes, "We strongly support and respect the right of our customers, the community at large and our employees to have different views. If we have made anyone question that commitment, we apologize."
But despite that apology, the company is giving no sign that it plans to reverse its decision. But if the controversy isn`t swaying Lowe`s, it doesn`t seem to be affecting "All American Muslim" either.
TLC tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it`s still supporting the show and "All American Muslim`s" Suehaila Amen says other advertisers are sticking with the show.
AMEN: At the end of the day, we have amazing sponsors that are supporting the program and are advertising with us. And really, they`re what matters.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: So with neither TLC nor Lowe`s backing down, it`s a good thing Lowe`s sells air conditioners because it looks like this will continue to be one hot controversy.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
The heat is on Lowe`s tonight over its decision to pull ads from "All American Muslim." That brings us to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint -- should fans boycott the store over this?
Joining me now to talk about this explosive story is somebody who definitely has an opinion on it, my very special guest, right now, for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview, hip-hop mogul, Russell Simmons, who is, by the way, the chairman of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding and also founder of "GlobalGrind.com."
Russell, great to have you on. You were one of the first celebrities to tweet and speak out against Lowe`s for pulling its ads from "All American Muslim." Russell, to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint, why? Why do you think people should boycott Lowe`s?
RUSSELL SIMMONS, HIP-HOP MOGUL: First, let me thank all the members of the cultural community and the different faith participants and religious communities who are joining us and the civil rights communities.
They all realize that the rights they take for granted for themselves are no good unless they fight for those same rights for others. So that, I believe, is the theme of the work they`re doing.
I believe this is not a Muslim fight. This is an American issue. We`re talking about the First Amendment that this country was founded on.
And we want the corporate citizens to embrace these ideas because -- they don`t have to of course but they`re a public company. If they want to return an investment, then they have to do what`s right by their consumers. And so their consumers can make them do right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Speaking of the company`s --
SIMMONS: That`s why I`m involved because it`s something -- as chairman of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, it`s something I feel deeply and care about deeply.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You wanted to actually buy the remaining ad spots for "All American Muslim." Were you able to do that? And why did you feel that was an important gesture? I guess the bottom line question, why you?
SIMMONS: Well, I`m one of the chairmen of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding. And we have programs -- hundreds of imams stand up and face anti-Semitism around the world. We have hundreds in France alone.
We have hundreds in America and around the world. And then, we have rabbis who fight Islamaphobia. And so the chairman of the World Jewish Congress, in fact, has spoken out and is very forcefully pushing his opinion and the opinions of other members of the religious community to ask Lowe`s to take back, their choice, to do what`s right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, on the contrary, Lowe`s is actually standing by its decision to pull its ads from "All American Muslim," saying that the show is, quote, "a lightning rod for strong political and societal views." So what do you make, Russell, of that statement?
SIMMONS: Well, you know, I did hear -- they`re entitled to their opinion, absolutely. But I did hear you say that they sell air conditioners. Well, they have a Christmas season coming up. And they`re going to have a problem selling air conditioners during Christmas.
So I think they should do what`s right for their shareholders. And in fact, by Friday, if they haven`t changed their opinion and their choice, then I think we should call for the CEO to leave, to step down because it`s obvious that he`s not doing a good job for his shareholders.
He`s hurting his company. And his company has to feel the opinion of their consumers and they will feel it.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Wow, OK. We`re breaking some news here. You are saying some things that are certainly controversial. I`ll tell you, a Lowe`s spokesperson said --
SIMMONS: It seems pretty American to me. That seems pretty basic American ideals that we want them to live up to as a corporate citizen. They should live up to these kinds of ideals. We expect that from them.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, and I understand what you`re saying. You`re saying this isn`t really about any one ethnic group. If it can happen to this group, it can happen to any other group as well, and that this is an issue that we all should care about as Americans.
A Lowe`s spokesperson said they`re just one of a dozen companies to pull ads from the show. But it`s interesting, Russell, they didn`t actually name the other companies. Are you aware of any other companies doing the same thing as Lowe`s?
SIMMONS: You`re welcome to pull your ads, but to play into bigotry publicly -- you made an example of yourself and we want to make an example of you.
Again, I want to buy ads -- it was the weekend. I was in Australia. I just got back a few minutes ago, so I wasn`t able to buy ads. And I said, as soon as they open up, I went to buy ads and they said yes.
And then, they said, "Oh, my god. All of our other sponsors are looking to keep their space." So I feel like the show has sold out.
Whatever spots available, I will buy. The show won`t suffer. We want a big company, a big corporate citizen like Lowe`s to live up to their responsibility. And they said they`ve researched.
Let me just make another point. They said their research helped them to come to this conclusion. But now, if they look online, they`ll see it`s a very small part of America that feels like that hate group feels.
And so they caved in to the bigotry that the hate group promoted. And now, they can see the backlash. And they can see people are going to return the goods and not buy goods from them.
So they have to get their -- they cannot leave their feet stuck -- or their heels stuck in the ground. They have to make a change, and I`m counting on it. And I`m hopeful by Friday we won`t have to spend too much more time on them.
I think we should be able to get this done and move on. I want an apology. Rabbi Schneier(ph), who is the chairman of the World Jewish Congress and the president of the Foundation for Ethnic understanding is looking to bring a group of religious leaders, Christian, Muslim and Jewish, to meet with the CEO there. We want them to do something to make amends to the Muslim community.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Russell, it`s always great to talk to you. I love your passion. Thank you. We`re going to stay on top of this story and it was great seeing you.
SIMMONS: Thank you.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Angie`s baby boom. Angelina Jolie`s shocking baby confession. Is she about to expand her already huge brood? Plus, she`s calling the shots now as a director. What? What would her actress mom have thought about her new move behind the camera?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell in New York.
Is Angelina Jolie about to expand her brood? The super-mom, super-actress and super-humanitarian already has six kids with her hubby, Brad Pitt.
And somehow, she still manages to find time to make them all lunch while making new movies and exposing inhumanities all around the world.
Now, in a brand-new interview with "Marie Claire," Angie says it`s a very real possibility that she may have more children soon.
She told the magazine, "Nothing is planned at the moment but we just don`t know. I could end up pregnant." You can read all about Angelina Jolie`s mommy-hood and her brand-new debut as a director in the January issue of "Marie Claire."
Tonight, Angelina`s secrets. Angelina Jolie is getting big, I mean big buzz for her debut as a director of the controversial new film "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
After spending her career in front of the camera, Angelina steps behind it. And for the very first time, she is calling the shots as the film`s director and screenwriter.
Jolie`s film tackles a love story set against the backdrop of the Bosnian war in the 1990s. And guess what, she`s got be some flak over it.
But as always, Jolie is pressing forward. And tonight, she`s revealing her movie secrets to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Here is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
WYNTER: This is a new role, of course, for you. So what did you do differently with your cast?
ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS: I think I -- well, this is such a different situation because it wasn`t my story and my cast. It`s their story. It`s their history.
They`re all from different sides of this conflict and they`re all from the region. They`re all born Yugoslavian. So it was a very different thing. It was an exchange, and we all just talked and shared and became a family.
And I think the best films are done when everybody has the same intention, which we all did, which was to show unity together and to do a film that caused a dialogue about all of these themes, intervention, mass atrocity, violence against women.
And what happens to human beings when they`re living inside conflict for so long and how it transforms them.
WYNTER: You`ve spent obviously a lot of time in front of the camera. You`re spending a little bit of time now behind the camera. Any interesting rituals or secrets that you have in terms of prepping for a film that would perhaps surprise your fans out there?
JOLIE: The surprise for all of us -- we had a very fast prep. We didn`t have a lot of money. We didn`t have a lot of days. How fast this film was put together.
They both had -- they all had to rehearse and be prepared in both languages. So that was, I think, surprising what we attempted to pull off. And if we reflect on it now, maybe we were all a little crazy.
WYNTER: You know, you`ve had such a close relationship with your mom. She was an actress. She put her career on the backburner to raise her family. What do you think she would say about this beautiful project that you not only wrote but directed?
JOLIE: Well, she`s my mom, so she`s -- she doesn`t criticize. You know, she was -- I wish she was alive today. I wish she could be here.
WYNTER: But what do you think she would --
JOLIE: I think she would have been proud.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: What an amazing woman. That is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter with the one and only Angelina Jolie. "In the Land of Blood and Honey" opens in limited release on December 23rd. Check it out.

We got a call into "Showbiz on Call" from Jennifer in California. She`s wondering just how real those photos are.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
JENNIFER, CALLER IN CALIFORNIA: It`s a big surprise. It`s Lindsay. You know, I always heard that "Playboy" did a lot airbrushing, but this takes the cake. From what I`ve seen -- I haven`t seen the magazine. I`m looking at the pictures on TV.
It`s so airbrushed you don`t even recognize that it`s Lindsay Lohan. It could be any blond from Hollywood Boulevard. I mean, I really think that the airbrushing has to stop. It`s ridiculous.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Ouch. All right. Thank you, Jennifer. So what do you think? Call us at "Showbiz on Call" and sound off about this or anything else that`s on your mind.

The huge gift went to two of the country`s leading environmental groups, the Natural Resource Defense Council and Oceania. Principal wants stricter rules in place for companies like BP who drill off the U.S. coastline.

Joining me from Hollywood, Sean Kanan of "The Young and the Restless." Sean also the author of the fantastic new book, "The Modern Gentlemen: Cooking and Entertaining with Sean Kanan."
I love it. Sean, the results of our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll in this big debate just in. They`re overwhelming.
We asked, "`Men`s Health` names Jennifer Aniston the hottest woman of all time. Do you agree?" Only 33 percent said yes while a whopping 67 percent said no way. I just want to ask, Jen`s cute, but do you get the outrage?
SEAN KANAN: Well, you know, first of all, I was home last night and I was actually watching a movie with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. And she is a really, really beautiful woman, and she`s naturally beautiful.
But I think one of the reasons that the poll might have come in the way it did -- if any of the guys are like me -- I mean, for me, I think my fiancee, Michelle, is the most beautiful woman in the world.
I think a lot of guys probably, you know, give a nod to Jennifer Aniston as a very beautiful woman, but think the woman in their life is the most beautiful so --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You are so diplomatic and gallant, my friend. Sean, a lot of people are upset because they`re asking is generally sexier than let`s say icons like Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren.
I mean, is she really going to become a timeless sex symbol like those women? What`s your gut telling you?
KANAN: You know, for me, she`s a little more like the girl next door. I mean, I think that there`s certainly a lot of iconic stars who maybe exude a lot more --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oomph?
KANAN: Outward, you know, sexuality than Jennifer Aniston.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Well, I`ve got to say, listen, it`s an honor to be named the hottest woman on the planet ever. I don`t know if anyone could be living up to that. Thank you, Sean.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell in New York for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking today -- Billy Ray unplugged.
We`re getting this famous dad`s take on some equally famous daughters. First up, Michael Jackson`s daughter Paris signed on for her first film.
She`s going to be starring in the upcoming live action animated film "Lundon`s Bridge and the Three Kids." Miley had Billy Ray by her side to help guide her. What kind of advice does Billy have for Paris?
Next up, Lindsay Lohan`s "Playboy" move. So much drama-rama over this former Disney star`s decision to pose for "Playboy." But was it such a terrible move? We`re going to get Billy`s take on that.
And Billy`s starring in a brand-new TV movie on The Hallmark Channel called "Christmas Comes Home to Canaan."
And joining me for a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsmaker interview, the one and only Billy Ray Cyrus. So great to have you here.
BILLY RAY CYRUS, COUNTRY MUSIC STAR: What kind of a hornet`s nest have I walked into here?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: We`re going to have some fun.
B. CYRUS: Yes, I bet we are. I was told "Christmas Comes Home to Canaan."
VELEZ-MITCHELL: yes.
B. CYRUS: And now, you want my opinion on that.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, fasten your seat belt, Billy Ray.
B. CYRUS: I`ve got to tell you up front, my opinion -- no one needs to hear my opinion on anything. That`s --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: But we want to.
B. CYRUS: That`s probably the last thing anybody ever wants to hear is my --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: We want to.
B. CYRUS: Just another celebrity`s opinion on this or on that.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, it`s those incredible -- what are they, dark blue eyes?
B. CYRUS: No, they`re red.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: They`re really -- they`re really good, whatever they are. Whatever color they are, it`s working.
B. CYRUS: Thank you.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: It`s so great to have you on. Imagine that while you were making this movie -- it`s a TV movie. You had to be thinking about your own family.
And we know that Miley is in a really good place right now. We were very proud that she was part of CNN Heroes this year as a presenter.
And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT actually produced the red carpet special for the show. And our co-host, J.R. Martinez, talked to Miley. Here`s what she told him about the important work she just did in Haiti. Let`s watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MILEY CYRUS, POP STAR: It`s amazing. It`s the best experience. When I thought I was going there, I knew we were going to be giving, you know, hearing aids.
J.R. MARTINEZ, ACTOR: Right.
M. CYRUS: But I didn`t think I was going to be doing it myself.
MARTINEZ: Right.
M. CYRUS: They give you the mold. You fit the kids. You`re the first voice that these people have ever heard, you know.
MARTINEZ: Right.
M. CYRUS: And half of them don`t speak because they live in these deaf communities. So you get to hear them sing and get to learn how to start talking.
It`s just amazing. Especially when you get the moms that haven`t been able to communicate to their kids and you listen to them singing and dancing with their kids. It`s just amazing. It`s the most rewarding thing you can do.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: My hat`s off to her. I`m not wearing one, but my hat`s off to her. She looks great. She seems so inspired by her charity work. How does she stay grounded? She`s 19 years old, world famous, giving back, which shows incredible wisdom. How does she stay grounded?
B. CYRUS: She`s got a great heart, you know. And she knows that we`re all put here for a reason, and part of that purpose is to give back.
I was very proud of Miley being part of CNN Heroes. And I also wanted to say congratulations to Anderson Cooper, to all the nominees, to all the heroes. I just thought it was a fantastic show.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so amazing. So congratulations. And hats off to all involved. CNN, that was a great show.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, thank you. It`s all about honoring people who give back and who are selfless.
B. CYRUS: That`s right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Back in 2006, you appeared on this very program, we`re delighted to say, with Miley. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT host, A.J. Hammer asked Miley about you. Let`s watch that and take a look.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
A.J. HAMMER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT HOST: But you have a pop star dad, something a lot of kids probably wish they have. A big-time rock `n` roll country star. What`s that been like? What`s the best part of having Billy Ray Cyrus as a dad?
M. CYRUS: It`s been great. I probably wouldn`t be here if it weren`t for him.
HAMMER: I can assure you of that, actually.
M. CYRUS: Yes, seeing him on set and seeing him singing -- and once I got on the stage with him I just knew that`s something I wanted to do. So I really enjoy it, especially getting to work with him.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Wow.
B. CYRUS: Wow.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You both look fantastic.
B. CYRUS: Oh, my goodness.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: That was a very sweet moment. A father and --
B. CYRUS: That is amazing.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Daughter and --
B. CYRUS: To see that now --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes.
B. CYRUS: And to think, how does time fly by so fast? And where did these last four or five years go? It`s amazing. I see that. That`s the little girl that left Thompson Station, Tennessee.
And as she left, I wrote a song called "Ready, Set, Don`t Go." And seeing that moment now just kind of brings it all back full circle of, wow, things -- the way time flies, for all of us, for all you parents out there.
Hug your kids. Love your kids. Everybody laugh, love and be happy this holiday season, because time flies really fast, you know. Don`t take it for granted.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You know, live in the moment and cherish every moment with your kids. I`m sure you`re a great sounding board, of course, for Miley. And I want to get your take on some other young stars.
B. CYRUS: Oh, no, you don`t --
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Michael Jackson`s 13-year-old daughter, Paris. You`ve got to hand it to her. She`s about to launch her own movie career. This is fantastic.
She`s landed a movie. What advice would you give her, given the fact that she has such a famous -- world famous legendary iconic dad?
B. CYRUS: Well, first of all, I`m proud of Paris. If that`s what she wants to do and I`m sure if she`s doing it, it`s because she wants to.
And if that`s her dream, her daddy will be smiling from heaven, cheering her on every step of the way. Ironically, Latoya and I was going to have lunch on Friday last week. And I ended up getting hired for a show over here in Connecticut, and so we postponed it until I get back.
But I love the entire family. They`re great people. And my thoughts and prayers are still with them every day.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. I spent a lot of time with them during the recent trials, seeing them walk in and out of court and they were always gracious, and really elegant and a class act under terrible pressure.
Like Michael Jackson, you were the bigger star when your daughter first started out. So do you think the fact that she`s Michael Jackson`s daughter, the late Michael Jackson, does that help her or hinder her?
B. CYRUS: You know, when I see Paris, I see an individual that has a tremendous amount of charisma and personality. And I`m sure that her talent will carry her however far she wants to go.
And again, I think it`s probably, no doubt, her choice as to what she wants to do with her life. And regardless, whatever her dream is, I know she`ll find it. I know she will. She`ll be great at whatever she does.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I have a feeling you`re right. She seems like a very, very grounded kid. Then we have -- well, maybe not so grounded -- Lindsay Lohan who has definitely had her share of drama over the years.
And she is now on the cover of "Playboy" magazine. And some say appearing nude is a career ender. It`s career suicide. Do you think that`s true?
B. CYRUS: It would be for me. Thank you. I try. Thank you. But that being said, I haven`t -- I don`t know anything about it. It`s the first I`ve heard of it.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Well --
B. CYRUS: I haven`t seen the -- I don`t know anything about it.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Are you going to check it out?
B. CYRUS: Well, I don`t -- I doubt it. I mean, probably not. But if I`m on a show like this and it pops up, I may not be able to, you know, not see it.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: We`re very excited about your TV movie.
B. CYRUS: Oh, thank you.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Just tell us briefly about it.
B. CYRUS: Well, it`s called "Christmas Comes Home to Canaan." It`s a sequel of a movie I did for Hallmark two years ago. And it`s very popular. So we made another one. It`s a stand-alone film, whether you`ve seen the first one or you`re just seeing this one for the first time.
It`s a great, very warm family-friendly movie. And I wrote the theme song of the show. It`s called "Home." And it`s all about, you know, remembering where you come from and knowing that all roads lead you home.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Billy Ray Cyrus, such an honor and a pleasure.
B. CYRUS: You, too. I hope to see you often.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Those eyes.
B. CYRUS: You`re awesome.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Wow. It`s great to see him in person. Be sure to catch Billy Ray Cyrus in his TV movie, "Christmas Comes Home to Canaan" on The Hallmark Channel, December 17.
And tonight, Kate Winslet`s ex makes a titanic mistake. The Oscar winner dumps her boyfriend, and now, he`s dishing the dirt on how she basically tanked their relationship. But did she really, or is this guy just the bitter one?
Now, Justin Bieber`s odor controversy. Tonight, why something seriously stinks about his new perfume ad.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BIEBER: I get it. I`m a huge megastar. I`ve got a full head of hair. You know, yes, I get it. But it could be a lot worse. Think about it. Guys her age -- well, remember when you were that age? Exactly.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That`s Jennifer Lopez in the video premiere of the Will.I.Am new single, "The Hardest Ever." She`s single, sexy and moving on. But is her new love too much for her ex, Marc Anthony, to handle?
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell in New York tonight for A.J. Hammer. Tonight, Hollywood`s ex-wives club.
Breaking up is hard to do even if you`re rich and famous, maybe especially so. That`s not stopping, however, Hollywood`s hottest women from picking up and moving on.
New loves. New attitudes. New outlooks. Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet, Scarlett Johansson. For them, life goes on, but not without controversy.
And joining me tonight from Hollywood, "In Touch Weekly`s" Kim Serafin. And also in Hollywood tonight, Sean Kanan of "The Young and the Restless." And he`s also the author of this fantastic new book, "The Modern Gentleman: Cooking and Entertaining with Sean Kanan."
OK. You`ve got to imagine how tough it must be for Marc Anthony to see Jennifer Lopez, who used to be his, making her way around the world with her much younger, much younger new boyfriend, Casper Smart, with their kids in tow.
Now, new reports tonight that Marc Anthony doesn`t want J. Lo`s new man taking his kids anywhere. Kim, she`s been dating this guy for a month now. Is Marc being the jealous ex, or is J. Lo somehow crossing a line here?
KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Well, you know, obviously, you understand that he doesn`t want his kids exposed to someone who may just be a rebound relationship for J. Lo.
Maybe he`s just going to be in their lives for a little longer. And they did spend Thanksgiving together in Hawaii. There were all those pictures of them together.
But you know, he didn`t marry Marianne(ph) from next door. He married Jenny from the block. You know what I mean? What did you expect?
You married someone who`s a big superstar. She certainly has had relationships in her past, marriages in her past, so I don`t know what he was expecting.
And by the way, if he was on, had moved on with a younger woman and that younger woman was around their kids, would he really be saying the same thing? So maybe he just needs to find someone new also.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I agree. She`s cougar-licious. And I say, you go, girl. The new boyfriend is not all J. Lo seems to be flaunting lately.
We`re just getting our first look at her -- in that new Will.I.Am video, donning a lacy bodysuit. Just last month, she hit the stage in a shimmering nude number for the American Music Awards.
Sean, do you think she`s trying to send one of those post-divorce, "I`ve got it, you`ve lost it" messages?
KANAN: I don`t know if she`s trying to send it, but she`s certainly succeeding in doing it. You know, this has got to be a little bit of deja vu, given that she married one of her backup dancers before Marc Anthony.
I don`t know. You know, when it`s your kids, I think you`ve got a right to say, hey, listen, you know, use a little discretion. If this is just somebody that you`re casually dating, that`s one thing.
But if she sees that there`s a future with this guy and wants to integrate him into the family with the kids, I guess that`s another.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`d like to see them dancing together, that`s for sure. OK. I`ve got to move on to another big story breaking tonight in the Hollywood ex-wives club.
We`re talking Scarlett Johansson speaking out this morning on the "Today" show about her divorce from Ryan Reynolds saying it`s been a tough year. Let`s watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SCARLETT JOHANSSON: I`ve been really fortunate. I found that I`ve had -- you know, even in times of crisis have had a lot of love around me. And people have kind of come out of, you know, all different dark corners to sort of support.
And that`s been a really beautiful thing. And I think I`ve also learned to be much more tolerant and much more patient.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, she`s talking about a failed relationship with Ryan Reynolds who is considered certainly one of Hollywood`s hottest, hottest hunks.
And every day now, we`re seeing more and more pictures of him with his new love, Blake Lively. So Kim, do you get the feeling Scarlett is having some regrets about letting that hunk slip through her fingers?
SERAFIN: Well, I don`t know. You know, Scarlett Johansson is one of these -- the most mature actresses I`ve ever met. I mean, she`s so mature beyond her years.
I`ve interviewed her. She really just seems like -- you seem like you`re speaking to a 50-year-old when you talk to her, like she`s just so seasoned.
She`s been in this business a really long time even though she`s, what, like 27 years old. So I don`t know. She`s having regrets. She seems to look back fondly on her years and her time with Ryan.
She said great things about her marriage, but she said they were both spending so much time apart. They were working so much. It was really hard work and she wasn`t really prepared to do that kind of work.
So I don`t think she`s having regret. She did move on a little bit with Sean Penn. She had that little fling. So she`s doing fine. She`s working a lot and she`ll move on just fine.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I`m sure she will. I`ve got to get to another big story breaking tonight in the Hollywood`s ex-wife`s club. Kate Winslet`s ex- boyfriend spilling dirty details about their breakup.
This is what he reportedly said to "The Daily Mail," quote, "I don`t think Kate behaved well and it is still very raw for me. I was in love with her and you can`t switch that off overnight."
Come on, Sean, she`s a movie star. She dates him. She wants out. Big whoop.
KANAN: Yes. You know, look, I get that the guy`s hurting. Break-ups are lousy, but they`re going to yank this guy`s guy card away. I mean, he sounds a little -- it sounds a little bit like he needs to put his big boy pants on and move on.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I agree with you 100 percent. Kim Serafin, Sean Kanan, thank you so very much, folks.
Tonight, Justin`s odor controversy. It`s the ad that`s got the smell of outrage.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BIEBER: So next time you hear her scream my name, relax. It`s better than hearing her scream Joey who lives next door. Am I right?

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
WYNTER (voice-over): Bieber`s controversy. Justin`s Bieber`s latest commercial for his perfume, Someday, is stirring up a big stink right now.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Bieber`s shocking new ad is more adult than usual. The ad starts innocently with Bieber sending a video letter to dads everywhere, that is until the Biebs spritzes the end with a scent of sexual undertones.
BIEBER: Next time you hear her scream my name, relax. It`s better than hearing her scream Joey who lives next door.
Palin`s not-so-enticing reality. Sarah Palin might have (UNINTELLIGIBLE) on her presidential campaign. But it looks like TLC, the network that aired Palin`s reality show, "Alaska," might be passing on her.
