(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SNOOKI POLIZZI, ACTRESS: That`s when you know the world is coming to an end.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes, Snooki without makeup. The startling picture revealed today by none other than Snooki. The SHOWBIZ "Flashpoint" -- is Snooki more beautiful without her permatan and pouf? TV`s most provocative entertainment news show breaks news right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, with big news breaking tonight. A SHOWBIZ murder mystery in Brad Pitt`s and Angelina Jolie`s neighborhood. This is gruesome. A chopped off head was found, bringing back chilling memories of the head chopping killer in Brad`s classic movie "Seven."
Severed hands and feet were also found. It`s all against the backdrop of the iconic Hollywood sign. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`S Kareen Wynter is with us tonight from Hollywood. Kareen, this story is so incredibly bizarre, isn`t it?
KAREEN WYNTER, CNN WYNTER: A.J., it really is. I was actually on the scene today. I`ve been talking to the cops and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is here to bring you brand-new details we`ve just learned about this real life Hollywood mystery.
Let me take you back to the beginning, though. So two people are out, they`re walking their dogs on a trail near the famous Hollywood sign. They see their dogs dragging a plastic grocery bag, A.J., from the bush. They decide to take a look at the bag and see, get this, a severed head inside. How frightening?
The cops are called and they then find a hand. But wait, there`s more. A second hand ,then a pair of severed feet, A.J. I was out there today talking to investigators. They say they were bringing in urban search and rescue teams because of all the rugged terrain and steep, steep slopes out there. They really want to catch the guy responsible.
HAMMER: Yes. I mean, this is so incredibly creepy to me. And I know that area well. I know that there`s a park right nearby, where a lot of stars including Brad and Angelina, take their kids. And we learned today, Kareen, that the cops spoke with Brad Pitt`s bodyguard. Why did they talk to him?
WYNTER: Pretty interesting. But when I spoke to cops, I asked them about this today. They told me that they started going door to door in the neighborhood talking to people in every house, A.J., within a half mile of where the head and body parts were found.
And they just happened to knock on Brad and Angie`s door. The bodyguard was there. So, they of course, questioned him, spoke to him. But they say, A.J., it was just standard routine procedure. Apparently, he didn`t have anything to add.
HAMMER: Wow. And it`s not just Brad and Angie who live there. The neighborhood is filled with all kinds of stars.
WYNTER: Filled.
HANNITY: So, obviously, I mean, stars, regular civilians, they should all be worried, I imagine.
WYNTER: Well, the cops told me today that unlike Brad`s movie "Seven" this does not, it does not appear to be the work of a serial killer and that it seems to be an isolated case. So that`s the good news.
You`ll recall that in "Seven" while the serial killer uses the seven deadly sins for his playbook for murder, including cutting off the head of Brad Pitt`s wife in the movie, who was played by his then-girlfriend, we all know, Gwyneth Paltrow, but a very, very creepy parallel, A.J. But, again, the police say this real-life Hollywood murder mystery is not the work of a serial killer but so darn scary, though.
HAMMER: A serial killer, non-serial killer, it`s all very creepy and scary.
Well, Kareen, thanks so much for that report. Excellent. All right.
Well, sometimes as we move on, the news has a strange way of bringing together two of the most well known and controversial people we know. But I got to tell you, this one takes the cake for me. I`m talking about O.J. Simpson, the Kardashians and a daddy drama. Listen to this.
Tonight the Kardashians are trying to once and for all put an end to the crazy reports that are questioning who is the real father of sister Khloe. The latest ridiculous story comes from the "National Enquirer."
Now they report that Khloe is the love child of her mom, Kris Jenner, and O.J. Simpson. Now you probably remember Khloe`s father, Robert Kardashian was O.J.`s defense attorney at O.J.`s murder trial. But I`m wondering why the Kardashians are even bothering to respond to this, to comment on it at all? It is nuts, I tell you.
With me in New York, attorney Midwin Charles and TV and radio host, Michael Billy -- I should say attorney and radio host Midwin Charles. Good to have you both here.
So it blew me away that these Kardashian tweets kept on coming today, because I think they should be silent about all of this. But let me read what Kim first tweeted. She said, "Now we have all the answers. It makes sense now. Khloe, you`re so tan."
Then this morning we have Kris Jenner tweeting this, "Wow, some of the stories out there today are either fabricated or so 24 years ago." That was followed by Khloe tweeting this today, "What is the recent obsession with all of this? What are they going to say next? "
SHOWBIZ Flashpoint: should the Kardashians even bother responding? Midwin, these reports have been floating around for a long time now. They`re just adding fuel to the fire and it kind of makes me suspect that they`re enjoying the ride.
ATTORNEY MIDWIN CHARLES: Well, we`re talking about the Kardashians here. I mean, who other -- what other family enjoys to have their name constantly being talked about and in the media? This is just an opportunity for them to continue to kind of keep their name in the media. I mean, this is what they do.
HAMMER: Separate from that, Michael, do you think it`s a bad idea given the fact it`s just, to me, perpetuating the story? Is it a bad idea for the ca Kardashians to speak out on this at all?
TV AND RADIO HOST MICHAEL BILLY: No, this is their business. And why is it such a crazy story? We know Kris Jenner has talked about having an affair, and to put it gently, you know, Khloe is a little mannish.
(LAUGHTER)
BILLY: It could be a possibility. That`s all I`m saying.
HAMMER: Maybe for your sake, I will move on. I actually think perhaps instead of tweeting about Khloe`s paternity issues, maybe Kim Kardashian should be more focused right now on this big upcoming legal battle.
Now, we learned today Kim may have to actually testify about her finances in this trial that`s going on. Remember this, it`s a $20 million lawsuit against Old Navy for their ad that used a lookalike Kim.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Yes, I mean, it`s a good Kim lookalike. I remember we talked about it when that commercial first hit the air.
Now here`s the deal, Midwin, Kim Kardashian is not going to take the stand and testify about her finances. She is not going to disclose this kind of information. That`s my best guess, anyway. So if she doesn`t do that, will she have to drop the lawsuit?
M. CHARLES: Well, I think it`s going to be hard because in a lawsuit like this, you have to show damages. It`s one thing to say that that commercial will confuse people, because that really is what`s at the crux of this lawsuit, is that that commercial will get people confused. Is it Kim? I`m not sure. Or what have you.
But how else can she show that that is damaging to her, other than the fact she`s lost a lot of money or she stands to lose a lot of money? I don`t see how she gets around it.
HAMMER: And, you know, we`re all thinking, oh, that would be really cool if she gets up there and reveals all about her finances.
M. CHARLES: Yes, I want to know.
HAMMER: Don`t see that happening. There`s a lot of tweeting going on. I know you guys follow the Twitter. You`re always looking at it as well. There`s some stuff that`s been happening today that`s blowing my mind.
The new love of Jennifer Lopez`s life, which, by the way, it`s still not even official. They haven`t come out and said they`re actually together., but they are together. Twenty-four-year-old Casper Smart, unofficially, tonight there are brand-new tweets coming from Casper that makes it seem like he is professing his love for J-Lo. Let me read to you what he tweeted.
He said, "Age, status and opinions of others are irrelevant. Our hearts are endless and our souls infinite." Now he did not mention J-Lo by name there. But the most interesting part of this is the fact that J-Lo retweeted the message.
Michael Billy, is he clearly professing his love to Jennifer Lopez through this tweet, or am I missing it and he`s talking about something else entirely?
BILLY: A.J., first of all, it`s really annoying when couples tweet about their love. Nobody wants to see that. Let me fast forward this situation.
(CROSSTALK)
BILLY: Look, Casper is going to get in this relationship, it`s the most fame he`s ever seen in many, many years. He`s going to get over J-Lo very, very quickly and he`s going to move on to a reality show. J-Lo, she needs to grow up, move on.
HAMMER: And maybe all this tweeting is going on, well, with "American Idol" starting up, J-Lo`s new show.
BILLY: Exactly.
HAMMER: I`m just saying. I`m just saying. Midwin Charles, Michael Billy, thank you both.
Let`s talk about Snooki for a moment. She`s a lot of things, right? Being understated, not one of them until this. Snooki strips off her makeup. The startling picture was revealed just today. Here`s what I want to know. Is Snooki more beautiful without her jerseyfied look?
Is Lisa pumped up? Our good friend from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Lisa VanderPump will set the record straight tonight about the report that she has butt implants. She will tell me.
Oh, and that`s not going to be awkward at all, right? Lisa VanderPump here for a "SHOWBIZ Newsmaker" interview.
Plus Tebowing and glittery pants? Can you imagine this? There`s a growing outcry for Tim Tebow to compete on "Dancing with the Stars." so we have a SHOWBIZ great debate tonight. Should Tebow do "Dancing"? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views."
Time for the SHOWBIZ news ticker. More stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Did you see this? This stunning young model who looks a lot like a legendary supermodel is about to take the world by storm. She is actually Cindy Crawford`s 10-year-old daughter. Can you believe that? Kaia Gerber just landed her first modeling gig with Young Versace. Wow. She really looks like Cindy. That`s unbelievable and the fact she`s 10 years old.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And right now, Katherine`s ultimate motherhood test. Katherine Heigl is part of a wild, dysfunctional family in her new movie "One for the Money" that opens January 27th.
But her off-camera family drama could be the stuff of movies, too. Katherine just revealed to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the details of her emotional struggle to bond with her adopted daughter. This was a struggle that lasted nearly an entire year. And I can tell you, Katherine admits that she wasn`t sure how she would ever make it through, but tonight Katherine`s brave admission is an inspiration to moms everywhere.
Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`S Michelle Turner with an intimate SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MICHELLE TURNER, CNN WYNTER: One of the things that I just read, an interview that you did and I thought it was actually real open of you as a mother to say -- and I think probably a lot of moms read that and said, oh, thank you, -- is the fact that you said you felt kind of inadequate for a long time and maybe that your bond wasn`t what it should be and you were a little jealous because you thought your husband had this great bond.
Like, really, how did you overcome that? And, like, where are you now?
KATHERINE HEIGL, ACTRESS: It`s interesting because it took a while with Naleigh -- I mean, not a while, it took probably a good, I want to say, year of us having to work on our relationship before I felt like she really trusted me.
I mean, it`s interesting because that`s -- you don`t think of that when you go through the process of adoption. Now, this child had spent nine months of her life in somebody else`s arms and she was well cared for and loved in her foster home and she -- you know, she loved the -- that`s who she knew and responded to.
So then they shove her into my arms and I want that immediate, like, maternal and child thing and she`s looking at me like, who are you? And why did you just steal me from these people?
TURNER: Wow.
HEIGL: And I don`t know what -- I think with Josh, it was -- I`m actually -- I directed a video for him. He wrote a song called "Naleigh Moon," about our daughter for his album. And I`m watching all this old family home video footage of the two of them and it was so effortless for him. He hadn`t -- put no pressure on himself.
He just was himself with this child. Where I was trying to be, you know, the perfect mother and everything that I expected, or thought she expected, we were supposed to have this thing, I`m supposed to create this, you know.
And he just kind of would walk into a room and make her giggle and make her laugh and there`s videos, like when she first came she was like a little, you know, grumpy or something, and there are videos of him, like, filming her and he`ll say things to her, like, look at you, sourpuss, you know, and she`s just like looking at the video, looking at him, and he`ll do something and she`ll finally laugh.
I learned a lot from him actually, I just tried -- I started following his lead. I just had to let it go and be -- have enough perspective to know that this will come around, that this child will come around.
TURNER: And it did?
HEIGL: Oh, yes. She needs us for different things. Like, for me she wants snuggles and cuddles and kisses and comfort. From him, she wants, you know, to be chased around the room and to be tickled and attacked and that sort of thing.
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: Well, that`s pretty brave of her to admit. I can`t wait to see Katherine`s new movie "One for the Money." It will open up next Friday. Here`s something else I can`t wait for. SHOWBIZ at Sundance -- we`re headed out to Park City, Utah. This is one of the biggest film events of the year.
Now Friday on "SHOWBIZ tonight," you have to see this, we go one-on- one with the great Robert Redford, who, of course, is the founder of the Sundance Film Festival. That`ll happen tomorrow, 11:00 pm Eastern and Pacific here on HLN.
Tonight wee have big "Bridesmaids" sequel news, it is the news that fans of the blockbuster movie do not want to hear. Also Arnold Schwarzenegger influenced Ronnie from "Jersey Shore" to change his life.
And doggy diva? Uggie the dog from the Golden Globe winning movie "The Artist" is taking a new bite out of Hollywood. There`s more in the buzz today.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Ruff attitude? Forget the Golden Globes. Uggie the dog of "The Artist" just landed two Golden Collar nominations. But like many stars before him, co-star Penelope Ann Miller tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the attention might be turning Uggie into a doggy diva.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
PENELOPE ANN MILLER, ACTRESS: We`re just hoping it`s not going to go to his head and he`s not going to get a huge ego. But it`s already starting. The stretch limo pulled up outside the theater. And -- but you know what, he deserves it. He`s excellent in the film. He is stealing every scene, which is hard on me. But it was really fun.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
"Jersey Shore" shocker. "Jersey Shore`s" Ronnie Ortiz-Magro reveals to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that he was bullied as a kid. Known for his hulking tough guy image on the show, Ronnie confesses he wasn`t always the big guy on campus.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Let me understand this. You were a small kid?
RONNIE ORTIZ-MAGRO, ACTOR: I would say up until about junior year of high school, I was probably about 5`3", 5`4", 145 pounds, 150 pounds. And, you know, the older kids always just picked on me. The seniors picked on the freshmen. you know, I got it the worst because I was younger. I wasn`t always the most popular kid in high school.
And that`s when I realized, you know, that`s when I started looking up to people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Rock and everything like that. I started getting into bodybuilding and working out and then women, and, you know --
HAMMER: (Inaudible).
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: So your thought was, OK, I`m getting picked on. If I can look like or be as big as, like an Arnold Schwarzenegger or somebody like that --
ORTIZ-MAGRO: They don`t want to pick on you.
HAMMER: -- they`re going to stay away from you.
ORTIZ-MAGRO: Exactly.
HAMMER: OK. They could -- so it wasn`t as much about let me get big so I can give them a beat-down.
ORTIZ-MAGRO: Not so I could get revenge. And you just want to -- just leave me alone and let me be.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Always the bridesmaid, Kristin Wiig has just revealed you won`t see her walking down the aisle in a "Bridesmaids" sequel. After weeks of speculation, we confirmed she won`t be part of the wedding party if the sequel to the hit film is made.
OK. Are you ready for Snooki without makeup? Let`s see it, Charles. Check it out. It is the startling picture. Snooki is sharing this with the world. Look at the baby face she was hiding under those 10 pounds of makeup. Tonight, the SHOWBIZ Flashpoint: Is Snooki more beautiful without her permatan and pouf?
From porn to Hollywood. It`s a growing trend, but can porn stars really shed the stigma and hit the big time?
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KATIE MARTIN, ACTRESS: There`s a lot of good looking people who can go and have sex, and get paid to do a porno movie. But to do mainstream stuff, you have to act. You have to be able to act.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Tonight a SHOWBIZ special report. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views."
And this is the SHOWBIZ news ticker. More stories from SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom, making news tonight.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DANA CARVEY, COMEDIAN: So my son is watching me, and I notice when Piers, before he goes to the commercial, he kind of does something like this. "When we come back, I`d like to ask you about your critics who say that you`re actually quite stupid. I`d like to know, does that bother you that people think you`re moronic?"
(END VIDEO CLIP)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Lucas` long shot? Well, George Lucas is stirring up a hornet`s nest of controversy with his new movie "Red Tails." The legendary "Star Wars" director pumped at least $58 million of his own money into a high flying World War II movie about the black military unit known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
The film stars Oscar nominee Terrance Howard and Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. So with those names, it should be box office gold, right?
Well, not exactly. And that`s because Lucas claims that Hollywood is greenist, movie studios don`t believe that black movies translate into big- time green at the box office, according to Lucas. So will George Lucas prove Hollywood wrong? Well, we`ll see, but Cuba Gooding Jr. just told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it was simply a no-brainer to work with George Lucas and Cuba has a very unique gift for George.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CUBA GOODING JR., ACTOR: Man, you hear George Lucas telling a tale, you get involved.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Focus, inbound. 12 o`clock.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (Inaudible).
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GOODING: Man, you know, I tell you, I ain`t never felt like wanting a grown man in the mouth, you know. It`s -- he -- and I hope he understands that, it`s not just the African-American community, because we`re obviously going to benefit from something like this. But the American brand has been so beaten up, especially after 9/11.
You know, I was in Europe, and it was, you know, we -- me and my cousin almost got in a couple fistfights just because they`d say things disparaging about Americans. You can be proud to know that we`re such a diverse country, you know, and we come from a level of excellence that, you know, can`t be rivaled, I think. I think it`s a good -- it`s a cool thing.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`ve been given the frag (ph) order to provide air cover for the Atlantic.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
GOODING: You know, and then celebrities that have been involved in promoting, spreading the word of it. Oprah Winfrey hosted a screening in Dallas and brought Tyler Perry with her. He saw the movie and hosted his own screening in Atlanta. You know, and they were telling people, you must go see this. It`s important. It`s like, whoa, it`s entertainment. Come see it if you want, you know.
But you know, on top of that, George Lucas put together a documentary called "Double Victory" that actually breaks down the statistics of what they accomplished. So, you know, we think it`s important to celebrate these men. At the same time, we think this movie is a roller coaster ride. It really is. It`s like you said, it`s serious talk for a big blockbuster and we hope so.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: It looks terrific. "Red Tails" will be in theaters everywhere tomorrow.
Time now for the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Snooki stripped. Well, stripped of her makeup. OK. Get ready for this. The SHOWBIZ Flashpoint: is Snooki more beautiful without her permatan and pouf?

Should Tim Tebow do "Dancing with the Stars"? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views." Here comes the SHOWBIZ news ticker. These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

From porn to Hollywood. It`s the hot new trend that could change the big screen big-time.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MARTIN: There`s a lot of good looking people who can go and have sex, and get paid to do a porno movie. But to do mainstream stuff, you have to act. You have to be able to act.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Are porn stars about to take over Hollywood? It`s a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT special report on the surprising new crossover artists.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, it is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York, and we`ve got big news breaking today. I mean, really big. Snooki revealed. The "Jersey Shore" sweetheart ditches the makeup, the tan, the pouf. Stunning the Twitterverse. Going au naturel. I want you to take a closer look at this.
I mean, there`s Snooki in the raw, so to speak. Can you believe it? The dramatic change is now sparking a Twitter frenzy, calling on Snooki to, perhaps, stick with the fresh face. Now the dilemma. Should Snooki change her look for good?
Well, who better to give advice than the queen of flawless makeup and host of the hit reality show that everybody loves, "RuPaul`s Drag Race." RuPaul, an all new season of "RuPaul`s Drag Race" is set to kick off January 30th on LOGO TV.
From Hollywood tonight, breakout star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Lisa VanderPump is here. Lisa`s also the author of the new book you must catch called simply "Simply Divine." It`s great to see you both.
Ru, it`s been a while.
RUPAUL ANDRE CHARLES, DRAG QUEEN, ACTOR AND AUTHOR: It`s been a long time.
HAMMER: Nice to have you here on set. Obviously you know all there is to know about the fine art of using makeup, when to restrain from using too much makeup. Can we put up the picture of Snooki one more time? Ru and I are going to take a close look at this. I know people always ask you for advice, tips and tricks on what to do. So what do you think of the au naturel Snooki?
R. CHARLES: Well, think she looks beautiful. In fact, she reminds me of one of the kids on our show this season. Her name is Jiggly Caliente, and really --
HAMMER: I`m sorry -- Jiggly Caliente?
R. CHARLES: Jiggly Caliente strikes a resemblance to Snooki. But I think Snooki actually does have a little bit of makeup on in this picture. I`ve had a good, close look. There`s a little bit of shadow. If you look closely, there`s a little bit of liner under the eye. For her, it`s au naturel.
HAMMER: No kidding, I mean, she could probably, you know, wear lipstick and it would be au naturel considering what she probably normally has on.
R. CHARLES: Absolutely. Absolutely.
HAMMER: She probably feels lighter, too, I imagine.
Lisa VanderPump, you always look divine, you are always flawlessly made up as well. What do you think? Should Snooki change her look for good? Should she stay the way we know her now?
LISA VANDERPUMP, REALITY ACTRESS: Well, thanks, A.J. Absolutely not. I think she`s a naughty girls. I think she needs the makeup. But she does look very cute but I think she looks like 10 years younger. I mean, she -- it looks like a different person. But then I suppose I look like a different person without makeup as well.
HAMMER: I love it, though. She`s a naughty girl, keep up the naughty. I think you wanted to say trashy, Lisa, am I correct? But you`re much more of a lady.
VANDERPUMP: No, I wasn`t going to say that.
HAMMER: OK.
VANDERPUMP: No, I wasn`t going to say that. You said that, A.J.
HAMMER: All right. Maybe she thought it, but I`m not going to put words in her mouth.
Now, look, Snooki fans are out there all buzzing about her new look. But we also have NFL star Tim Tebow in a Twitter frenzy, too. Online frenzy. A huge push is going on right now. A lot of people want to see this guy wind up on "Dancing with the Stars," which I certainly can understand.
I bet there are some people who don`t want to see him on "Dancing with the Stars," too. Here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint. Should Tim Tebow join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars"? RuPaul, I know they`ve asked you to be on that show, probably a few times (inaudible), and you keep saying no because you`re busy.
R. CHARLES: Well, I`ve got shows of my own to do. But I think he would be fantastic on there. He has great hand-eye coordination which is, of course, what it takes to dance. And -- but I think he should probably come on "RuPaul`s Drag Race" first. We have a segment on there called "Jocks in Frocks" that I think he`d rally excel at.
HAMMER: Yes. How much fun would you have dressing up Tim Tebow in drag?
R. CHARLES: I`m too afraid to say on television, A.J.
HAMMER: I mean, what would the look be? What would he go for?
R. CHARLES: Oh my goodness. I`d probably go for naughty girl. I`d probably go for Snooki.
HAMMER: Tim Tebow as Snooki. I love it.
Lisa, back to "Dancing with the Stars." What do you think of the idea of Tim Tebow doing that show? Should it happen?
VANDERPUMP: Oh, I`d like to see him. But he`s actually kind of staunch Christian. But I`d like to see him cut a rug and strike a pose. Absolutely. But, yes, in a tutu, I`m not so sure. I mean, (inaudible). So why not?
HAMMER: I mean, can you imagine just the glitter dripping off the guy? I don`t know.
And listen, it`s not just Tim Tebow. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT actually just broke the news this week with "Dancing" pro Louis van Amstel, who was calling for Paula Deen to do "Dancing with the Stars" as well. I actually think it`s a pretty good idea and would probably create some good press for her right about now. But we`ll have to see how this plays out.
In the meantime, Ru, your show, "RuPaul`s Drag Race," kicking off the new season at the end of the month. Everybody is very excited about it. Shall we take a look?
R. CHARLES: Yes.
HAMMER: Let`s take a look together.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
R. CHARLES: Oh pit crew!
Oh, my god.
All right, boys, let me see what you got.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: You don`t have any fun doing this show at all, do you?
R. CHARLES: None whatsoever.
HAMMER: The drama, I imagine, just from looking at those contestants you have, their faces, I imagine there`s going to be huge drama this year.
R. CHARLES: There always is. And these are really courageous kids. They`ve come up against so much in our society, to make it to our show is a big thing. This is like the Holy Grail for them. So, and there`s $100,000 at stake. So you know there will be drama and there will probably be blood, too.
HAMMER: And for you, though, it must feel terrific because I know you must be such a role model for these kids. Look at what you endured as a child. You have a very storied life and became this really internationally renowned superstar.
R. CHARLES: Well, you know, it`s fun for me to sort of have these kids pass through our show, because they go on to become very famous and it`s really part of my legacy, to create these stars. We`ve done about 50 girls so far. So they`re roaming around the world. Release the Kraken is what I say.
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: Very nice. Well, job well done for sure.
Now, Lisa, we just saw RuPaul making an appearance on your show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." I thought it was rather serendipitous you guys happen to both be here with me today. And you -- I`ve seen at least once or twice a little bit drama on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" show, you know, just once or twice.
There`s big news breaking today. There`s a report you`re getting your own show. Well, can you tell us, is it a done deal, Lisa?
VANDERPUMP: Oh, I can`t talk about that. If it was being confirmed or I knew, I`d be shouting it from the rooftops. Absolutely not. Can`t talk about it at all.
HAMMER: OK. All right. Then I`ll move on to the other big news breaking. I`m going to let you slide on that one. I was almost inclined not to. Ru?
R. CHARLES: I say she is.
(CROSSTALK)
HAMMER: I`ll say she is.
R. CHARLES: OK.
HAMMER: She won`t call Snooki trashy. I respect that. Listen, Lisa, there`s another new report out there today about you. I`ve been feeling a little anxious about having to ask you about this. But I`m going to get to the bottom of it right now.
I have read, right here, it says there are reports out there that, well, you had butt implants. Can you please set the record straight on this very important riveting piece of shocking information?
VANDERPUMP: Well, you know what, thank you for that, because at my age I`m flattered that my butt is getting so much attention. But, no, I -- what do you think, Ru? I actually am not that sort of girl. I don`t put anything in my butt, thanks, A.J.
HAMMER: Well, we -- uhh --
R. CHARLES: I`ve seen her butt. And it`s absolutely gorgeous. Her body is slamming. And she just keeps herself together.
HAMMER: I imagine, Ru, that you`re a huge fan of the "Housewives" franchise. I just get the impression it`s your kind of TV.
R. CHARLES: I love it. You know, when I walked through the show, they are basically drag queens. Hello.
HAMMER: I was going to say, who is, let`s talk about "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Who is the drag queen of the show?
R. CHARLES: Well, you know, I have to say, you know, Lisa is -- they don`t call her VanderPump for nothing. Let`s just say that.
HAMMER: OK. Lisa, you`ve been called the drag queen of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Are you going to wear that as a badge of honor?
VANDERPUMP: Oh, absolutely. Coming from Ru, I take that as a compliment. Thank you, darling. And good luck with your show. It looks amazing.
HAMMER: And before I let you go on your show, one of the great things about it that we love so much is the celebrity judges that come on. Give us a little taste of who we can expect to see this season.
R. CHARLES: Wow. So many. We have Natalie Cole and the kids from "The Osbournes." It goes on and on. But, you know, everybody really loves being a judge, because they are all drag queens. Everyone in show business understands that there`s a you on stage then there`s a you off stage. And they bring that to our show and that knowledge of show business. So it`s a lot of fun and everybody really enjoys it.
HAMMER: Yes, everybody enjoys it and everybody talks about it. And it`s great to see you. I wish you best of luck. And hopefully see you again before too long.
R. CHARLES: Exactly.
HAMMER: And Lisa VanderPump, I thank you as well. Now, make sure you check out the season finale of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." It`s airing next Sunday on Bravo. The season premiere of "RuPaul`s Drag Race" can`t be missed, January 30th on LOGO.
And also check out Lisa`s book, it`s called "Simply Divine," that is available now in bookstores everywhere. You hear it here, RuPaul says Lisa, the biggest drag queen on that show.
(LAUGHTER)
HAMMER: And, oh, look, we`re moving from that to porn star crossovers tonight. The surprising new trend that is reshaping Hollywood.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MARTIN: There`s a lot of good looking people who can go and have sex, and get paid to do a porno movie. But to do mainstream stuff, you have to act. You have to be able to act.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Porn stars are entering the mainstream. Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has an incredible special report on Hollywood`s hottest new commodities. You must see this.
And wait until you see Rob Lowe`s Twitter mess. Rob Lowe, obviously legendary actor, and now he`s got the Internet all fired up.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ROB LOWE, ACTOR: And then you learn the power of Twitter. That`s a powerful, powerful medium.
ELLEN DEGENERES, COMEDIAN: Yes, it is.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Tonight, how a single tweet turned into a big old headache for one of Hollywood`s top stars. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views." Here comes the SHOWBIZ news ticker. More stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
SHERRI SHEPHERD, COMEDIAN: I tried to go out for "The Help." I did. I tried to get an audition. That door was closed. Yes, that somebody named Octavia Spencer had locked in a role. I was like, what?
That`s my girlfriend. I`m so proud of her. She`s just a dear friend of mine. So that was actually one I tried to get in. I wanted to get in "A Date With Marilyn," because I thought I could have played a really good Marilyn, but, yes, they wanted a white woman.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`d have to wear a wig or (inaudible).
SHEPHERD: I`m like, I could have played white. It`s all about the acting. But for some reason, they didn`t want to see me for that particular role.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, porn star crossover. They are landing legit work like never before. They`re influencing pop culture and they`re getting praise for their acting on prime-time TV and in some big-time Hollywood movies.
So just how big is the surprising new trend? Are porn stars becoming Hollywood`s hottest new commodities? Here now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter with a fascinating SHOWBIZ special report on porn stars in the mainstream.
WYNTER: Jenna Jameson, Sasha Gray, Katie Morgan. What do they have in common? These vixens are part of a growing trend, former adult film stars who crossed over to the mainstream and Hollywood stardom. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT wants to know how have they been able to shed the porn star stigma and gain acceptance?
MARTIN: I own the term porn star. Call me a porn star, I`m like, yep, that`s me.
WYNTER: Katie Morgan embraces her past but tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she`s moved on from porn. Morgan made more than 400 adult films before retiring from the biz. Since then she`s hosted a series of HBO documentaries, her own radio show, where she gives sex advice and starred in the Kevin Smith comedy "Zach and Miri Make a Porno."
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Porn has gone mainstream now. It`s like Coca-Cola or Pepsi.
WYNTER: Why do you think Hollywood`s been embracing adult entertainers who`ve been crossing over?
MARTIN: I think the stigma is fading a little bit. Like, it`s not as shocking. It used to be just being in porn was like, that was it.
WYNTER: There were only a handful of women who are doing what you`re doing out there. Is it hard making that crossover?
MARTIN: It`s supposed to be really hard to make that transition. There`s a lot of good looking people in Los Angeles. There`s a lot of good looking people who can go and have sex and get paid to do a porno movie, but to do mainstream stuff, you have to act. You have to be able to act.
WYNTER: And Katie`s former colleague porn star Sasha Gray proves that point.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hey, guys, this is amazing (inaudible).
WYNTER: Gray`s amazing leap into Hollywood resulted in a recurring role on "Entourage." She`s also starred in films like "The Girlfriend Experience" and "I Melt With You." One-time porn queen Jenna Jameson has also enjoyed success outside the adult film biz. The mother of two has worked on several ad campaigns for PETA and hit the big screen in the 2008 comedy, "Zombie Strippers."
But Jenna, Sasha and Katie certainly aren`t the first crossovers. After making adult films as a teen, Tracy Lords broke into mainstream Hollywood in the early 1990s and has worked steadily on the big and the small screen, recently starring alongside Morgan in "Zach and Miri Make a Porno."
And let`s not forget Ron Jeremy, one of the few male porn stars who`s become a pop culture star. For years, Lords and Jeremy were the mainstream exception. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you it`s a new day for one-time adult entertainers.
STEVEN HIRSH, VIVID ENTERTAINMENT: Times are changing.
WYNTER: Steven Hirsh who heads Vivid Entertainment, one of the top porn distributors in the country, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT porn stars are steadily breaking into the Hollywood scene and he says the ladies can act but also bring another invaluable commodity, a super-sized online fan base.
HIRSH: Now what we see with the Internet and with all sorts of social media, there are a lot of girls out there who make themselves available and who have become extremely popular. Hollywood has sort of picked up on that and, in some cases, taken advantage of it.
WYNTER: Former porn star Katie Morgan tells us she`s using social media to take her to the next level.
MARTIN: It gives the fans so much access to people. Like, I get on my Twitter and I`m randomly talking to a dude in Ohio, who I never would have had contact with before. It has to add to the fan base.
WYNTER: And as those fan bases keep expanding, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that doors in Hollywood will keep opening.
MARTIN: As long as I`m entertaining people, I`m happy. So if they want me doing it with my clothes on now, then that`s freaking awesome.
WYNTER: Right now it looks like some mainstream audiences agree.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: That`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`S Kareen Wynter. It`s just amazing how much exposure these former adult movie stars are getting in Hollywood right now. In fact, just a few years ago --think about it -- starring in an adult movie, of course, meant you could never expect to have a legitimate career in Hollywood.
I move now to Dolly Parton`s big birthday revelation. Tonight the great diva Dolly, who seems just ageless, has taken on a huge new project as she turns 66. Everybody knows about Dollywood, of course. But now the country legend is bringing snow to Nashville. Yes, a snow park in the middle of the South. You got to watch Dolly`s birthday revelation to me.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DOLLY PARTON, ENTERTAINER: Yes, nice to see you. Thanks for having us.
HAMMER: Well, are you kidding me? I mean, we`re so excited. It`s Dolly`s birthday, everybody. Happy birthday, Dolly Parton.
PARTON: Thank you. Thank you.
HAMMER: We`re over the moon. I`m happy to tell you, the crew is all excited. They`re sitting here eating cake today. Quite frankly, they always do that, but now they have an excuse. So they thank you for that.
PARTON: Well, good deal. Well, I`m glad to be part of that. Let them eat cake.
HAMMER: And this big announcement today that you`re making, it sounds to me like a great birthday present from you to all of your fans and all of their families. I love it. You`re opening up the first-of-its-kind snow and water park, all kind of rolled into one.
Here`s the thing, Dolly. You`re from Tennessee. I never pictured you as much as a snow bunny. So can you explain this to me?
PARTON: Well, now, we do get a lot of snow in the Great Smoky Mountains. I grew up there in the Smoky Mountains National Park. We used to get a lot of snow. But I wouldn`t call myself a snow bunny. But we -- we`re going to have a fun time.
Of course, we used to swim a lot in the creeks, in the rivers up there. And so we`re going to have the water and the snow park. But you`ll be able to build your snowmen at this park and all the tubing and the -- lot of snow sports that we`re going to have. That`s our first lap of this 100-plus acres we`ve started.
HAMMER: I`m going to that park and building myself a snow Dolly. Happy birthday, Dolly.
We move now to Rob Lowe`s Twitter nightmare. He`s just caused an Internet storm with a single tweet.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LOWE: The power of Twitter. That`s a powerful, powerful medium.
DEGENERES: Yes it is.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: What did the actor fire off that`s got everyone so fired up? We reveal the stunning details next. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN "News and Views." Now the SHOWBIZ news ticker. These are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
REGIS PHILBIN, TV PERSONALITY: Are you happy with your chapter?
KATHY GIFFORDS, TV PERSONALITY: I was very happy with my chapter. It`s the only one I read. It was really nice. No, (inaudible).
REGIS PHILBIN, TV PERSONALITY: Was it accurate?
KATHY GIFFORDS, TV PERSONALITY: It was very accurate. Especially how much you love me and how talented --
REGIS PHILBIN, TV PERSONALITY: Changed your life.
KATHY GIFFORDS, TV PERSONALITY: And changed yours.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Right now, Rob Lowe`s Twitter mess. Now Rob may star as a city manager of a fictional town in Indiana on "Parks and Recreation," but he`s set off a real life firestorm over the Indiana colts star quarterback Peyton Manning.
Now Lowe apparently had some kind of inside information that perhaps Peyton Manning may be retiring, so he fired off a tweet. It lit up the Internet. Let me read to you what he tweeted.
"Hearing my fave number 18 Peyton Manning will not return to NFL. Wow."
Well, then he sent out this follow-up tweet. "My people are saying Manning will retire today. What do you hear?" Well, today on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" Rob talked about the Twitter mayhem that he caused. And, get this, Rob was actually surprised that he set off such a big controversy. Watch what he told Ellen.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DEGENERES: Now you tweeted out about Peyton Manning maybe not continuing. He`s retiring? Is that true? How do you know that?
LOWE: Well, I`m a huge, huge, huge, huge, Peyton Manning fan.
DEGENERES: Uh-huh.
LOWE: And a huge -- yes, right? The best ever.
(APPLAUSE)
LOWE: And a huge, a huge Colts fan. So -- and I tweet every week about sports, about who they should fire, who they should hire, and that sort of -- I do. I like -- I`m a regular guy. I`m like a guy, a regular guy, who, like, has his opinions and stuff. And so I was tweeting that I`d heard that this might be in the offing. And then you learned the power of Twitter. That`s a powerful, powerful medium.
DEGENERES: Yes, it is. People are saying, how do you know that and what`s going on? And how do you know that and what`s going on?
(LAUGHTER)
LOWE: I hope -- I hope it is not -- I hope against hope it`s not true.
DEGENERES: You have some information, obviously, right? Somebody told you.
LOWE: Ellen, I could tell you but then I`d have to kill you. That wouldn`t be good.
DEGENERES: Don`t do it. I have a birthday coming up. I`d like to live.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Killing Ellen. Check this out, Rob Lowe also just tweeted that the paperback version of his memoir, "Stories I Only Tell My Friends," is now number six on "The New York Times" best seller list. Hard to believe, but I guess Rob Lowe really didn`t understand the full power of Twitter.
Well, we have Katy Perry`s acoustic confession tonight. It`s part of her new single from "The Party Girl." This reveals a serious side. So what does it say about her emotional split from Russell Brand?
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Now you may want to grab a tissue. In fact, I`m going to grab mine right here. As if Katy Perry`s divorce news wasn`t bad enough, now she`s just released a brand-new acoustic version of her song "The One That Got Away." It`s guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings. So listen.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
Wow. I mean, how raw and honest does she sound doing that acoustically? Hard to believe it`s only now been a couple weeks since Katy and Russell Brand announced their split.
Well, that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. You can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively weeknights at 11:00 pm Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.
