Hello. Jane Velez-Mitchell in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - The Super Bowl middle finger malfunction.
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that one day after the rapper MIA totally ruined Madonna`s Super Bowl show, Madonna herself was MIA today after the flip of the bird that flew around the world.
MIA gave the middle finger and apparently muttered an expletive after she performed with Madonna during the Super Bowl halftime show.
(MUSIC)
MIA was right in the middle of Madonna`s song just released, brand-new song called "Give Me All Your Loving." But what followed was the biggest malfunction since Janet Jackson`s biggest Super Bowl infamous wardrobe malfunction at the Super Bowl back in 2004.
Well, today, there were so many apologies flying around that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT had to put together a special team just to keep up with them all. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the super burning questions including, did MIA Throw Madonna under the bus?
How ticked off is Madonna that she got upstaged by MIA`s middle finger. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask, was MIA`s middle finger malfunction really so offensive?
With me tonight, the one and only Wendy Williams. How you doing?
WENDY WILLIAMS, HOST, "THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW": How are you doing?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Who is the host of one of TV`s biggest daytime shows, "The Wendy Williams Show." OK. So happy to have you here. The numbers are just in and I can tell you, Wendy, a lot of people saw MIA give the middle finger.
We learned today more than 111 million people watched the Super Bowl last night making it the most watched program in TV history.
Madonna was expecting, well, we`d be talking about her and her performance today - oops, never mind. Sorry, Madonna. Here is our first SHOWBIZ Super Bowl burning question - did MIA throw Madonna under the bus? Wendy?
WILLIAMS: I think MIA threw herself under the bus. This is - you know, I know music enough. I don`t even know who this woman is. And because of what she did, I don`t care who she is. If that is how she`s got to get her bones and her popularity, then I don`t want to know who she is.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I didn`t know who she was until today. I`d never heard of her before, and it is a shocker.
WILLIAMS: I mean, we knew who she was. The last time we saw her, she was very pregnant and she was on the stage performing with Jay Z.
She went off and had the baby and came back. And now, she can go back to wherever she came from. I don`t think she threw Madonna under the bus because Madonna still gave a great performance.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, she did. Now, out to former "Bachelor" star, Bob Guiney. He`s the host of HGTV`s "Showhouse Showdown." Say that three times. And lead singer for a band from TV. Bob, did Madonna get upstaged?
BOB GUINEY, HOST, "SHOWHOUSE SHOWDOWN": I`m with Wendy on this. I don`t think she got up staged at all. I think, if anything, she came out smelling like a rose. The performance itself I felt was a little slow at times.
And I think MIA Was totally going for an attention grab there. That was all that was. You know, she probably needs to get herself back into the spotlight and thought maybe if she wagged around the middle finger a little bit, she would get some press out of it, because here we are talking about her. So I guess it worked.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I love Madonna. As a woman of a certain age, I say, go, girl. You are fabulous.
WILLIAMS: Me, too.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Who says you can`t move? You were doing flips. I have to say a lot of people didn`t know who MIA was - and I admit it, myself included - until she flipped that bird during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Wendy, on your show this morning, you were all fired up that a relative unknown tried to stage sort of a coup on an icon like Madonna.
WILLIAMS: Yes.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I want to show everybody what you told your celebrity co- host, Mario Lopez, today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WILLIAMS: I don`t even know who that woman is. And flipping the bird and showing crotch was so unnecessary. Now, nobody cares who you are.
MARIO LOPEZ, GUEST CO-HOST, "THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW": Right.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: They will care for 24 hours calling you that woman and who is she. Madonna will never take you on tour with her because you tried to torpedo a Madonna moment, MIA.
M. LOPEZ: Yes.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well said, Wendy. Well, you said that MIA tried to torpedo a Madonna moment. And she certainly drew the attention away from Madonna`s actual performance.
That leads to our next SHOWBIZ Super Bowl burning question - how ticked off is Madonna right now that she got upstaged by MIA`s middle finger?
WILLIAMS: Well, ticked off enough not to take MIA on tour with her or give this young lady more exposure. Madonna came out smelling like a rose. I think Nicki Minaj really came out smelling like a rose as a rap-stress with a bit of sass appeal.
You would think that Nicki Minaj might try to do something. But she played her position as a businesswoman with the nail polish and the lipstick and the music and the singing and the rap. Nicki did a great job. Madonna did a great job, you know.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I love the guys with the big hair.
WILLIAMS: Oh, that is my favorite. Yes.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: MIA had nothing to say after her halftime stunt. But today, a source close to the rapper told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT she feels horrible about flipping the middle finger, telling us, "She was nervous and not thinking, and adrenaline took over. She feels horrible for putting Madonna in that position."
So Bob, to our SHOWBIZ Super Bowl burning question, was MIA`s middle finger malfunction really a mistake?
GUINEY: No way was that a mistake. I`m sorry. I mean, at least back in the day with the whole Janet Jackson thing, you could say it was a wardrobe malfunction and maybe they pulled something that wasn`t supposed to be pulled or whatever.
And there is still, of course, a burning debate about how much of an accident that was, too. But this is so clearly not an accident and I think just such an obvious attention grab.
And it`s just one of those things where, you know, like you said, Wendy, LMFAO up there. You have all these people up there performing, Cee-Lo Green. And maybe MIA felt she had to do something to kind of make herself stand out and didn`t realize the heat she`d get for it. I think it`s pretty pathetic, you know.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, she did that standing out.
GUINEY: Yes.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Apologies flying every which way today. Both the NFL and NBC went into serious damage control mode as soon as MIA went rogue on stage. And that is when the finger-pointing really got started.
The NFL blamed NBC saying, "There was a failure in NBC`s delay system." And NBC blamed the NFL saying, "The NFL hired the talent and produced the halftime show."
But is what MIA did really so bad? Which leads to our next Super Bowl super-licious burning question -was MIA`s middle finger malfunction really that offensive? Wendy?
WILLIAMS: Yes. You know why? Because it was intentional. And it was - Janet Jackson`s boob was not offensive, because it was unintentional. When things are unintentional, you can`t help that.
You know, I was sitting there watching with my parents and our 11-year-old son. And I did not see the middle finger, I`ll be perfectly honest. If you all did not make a big deal over it in the media, I would not have even known it happened.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You know, I did neither. I was watching it, but I was paying my bills at the same time, I`ve got to admit -
WILLIAMS: Yes.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: So I missed it. I missed it. I can tell you that our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Facebook page blew up over the Madonna`s show. And we got one of the biggest responses ever on the wall.
Most people seem to think the incident wasn`t such a big deal. I have to say it is hard to disagree when, right after the Super Bowl, you had Christina Aguilera, gorgeous one, wearing an almost nothing left to the imagination outfit on "The Voice." Bob, offensive or not?
GUINEY: The middle finger or Christina`s outfit?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: No. The middle finger.
GUINEY: I would say - I would say, you know, I don`t know necessarily it`s offensive, because I honestly did not see it either, and I watched the halftime show twice. And I didn`t see it.
And then all of a sudden, when it started being, you know, brought to my attention, of course, I could not miss it. But I don`t know. I don`t know if it is necessary.
I mean it is offensive in that, you know, I was sitting with my 12-year-old nephew watching it. And this morning, he was talking about it because it was all over the news.
But I think you`re right. It is so obvious and I think it was so intentional that it has to be, I guess viewed a little bit offensively, because, ultimately, it wasn`t a mistake and definitely something done intentionally.
WILLIAMS: Well, what if your nephew though all of a sudden gave you the middle finger? Because it is OK for MIA to give it during the Super Bowl?
GUINEY: Exactly. Yes, I`d be -
WILLIAMS: That`s what I am thinking.
GUINEY: Yes, I would be totally mad about that. And I think that, you know, it is one of those things where you see these things at halftime and everyone was talking about how great it was and how amazing the performers are.
And I think the likelihood of someone imitating that and trying to utilize that to get some attention is definitely going to happen. So yes, for sure.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Here`s the thing - how do you scold your kids for doing that if it is OK to do it on television? That is the problem. Kids are watching.
And I love what you both have to say. You are both brilliant. You should be on the next Super Bowl halftime show both of you, Wendy Williams and Bob Guiney. Thank you so much.
GUINEY: I`m in.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: And all this week, celebrity co-host week on "Wendy Williams" so make sure to check it out. It is such a great show, one of my favorites.
And you also got to check out Bob Guiney`s show, "Showhouse Showdown" on HGTV.
Now, Gisele`s super-sized meltdown. The supermodel gets ugly when her man loses the Super Bowl. Gisele blasts fans who slammed her hubby, Tom Brady. It is all caught on tape. Tonight, the coast-to-coast reaction to the ultimate personal foul.
And Katy`s racy rebound. Katy Perry gives Tim Tebow a big shout-out dedicating a song to him that might make Tim fall to his knees blushing. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask could Katy`s Russell Brand`s rebound be with Tim Tebow?
Wasted wizard? Daniel Radcliffe`s boozy bombshell confession about being drunk while filming "Harry Potter." Say no. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
And now, "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell, in for A.J. Hammer. Tonight, Katy`s Tebow tease.
Katy Perry really adding fuel to all those reports that she is eyeing Denver Bronco`s quarterback, Tim Tebow, as her next hot romance.
Katy who recently split with hubby Russell Brand took the stage over the weekend and gave Tebow some very special shout-outs seeming to hint that she is single and ready to mingle with the devoutly religious football star.
Now, everybody wants to know, will Tim Tebow be the guy to get Katy back in the game?
Joining me in New York, the one and only Maria Canals-Barrera, star of Disney`s Emmy award-winning series, "Wizards of Waverly Place." Great to have you here.
Katy Perry really threw it all out there this weekend, clearly had Tim Tebow on her mind just as she was about to perform her raunchy new song "Peacock."
Now, at a Super Bowl after-party, she dedicated her entire performance to Tim. Oh, my gosh. Maria, do you think Tim Tebow could be Katy`s rebound man?
MARIA CANALS-BARRERA, ACTRESS: Well, Jane, I don`t think that he`s anybody`s rebound. I think he`s a very special girl`s special groom. And isn`t she still married?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, they`re on the outs, let`s face it. They`ve decided they`re going to split. And in Hollywood, you know, 45 seconds after you file those divorce papers, you are out looking and cooking.
BARRERA: Yes. Don`t you think that is a problem? Too much cooking too soon. We should relax and fall a bit or - you know, before looking for the next one.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I agree with you, Maria. Katy, my advice to you, cleanse your palette, sister. OK. Katy also brought her Christian pastor parents into her whole Tebow tease over the weekend while presenting at the NFL honor show Saturday night.
She joked and said, "Hi, Tim. My parents said hi." Well, Katy, if you really are interested, listen to what Tim Tebow told us he wants in a woman.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You have said before that you are saving yourself for marriage. Are you dating anybody? Do you have a girlfriend? I know a lot of the women in the studio want to know.
TIM TEBOW, QUARTERBACK, DENVER BRONCOS: No, I`m single right now.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What would you look for in a girlfriend?
TEBOW: That is a good question. You know, I think that just kindness and compassion and someone who is, you know - has very - has an outgoing personality, and someone who is very sweet. I think those are some big things that I would look for.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, Katy is kind and compassionate and definitely outgoing. You know what I mean. But let`s face it. Tim is the complete opposite of her ex, Russell Brand, who has struggled with, let`s see - sex, drugs, and alcohol addiction. Maria, it sounds like Tim could be actually what Katy needs.
BARRERA: Well, I know that he is what she needs, but I don`t know if she is what he needs. Well, it is very appealing, isn`t it? A man of strong moral conviction.
Nobody is perfect, but the fact that he wants to stay pure is totally something that I admire. I think it is wonderful. Good luck to her, you know. Get in line, sister. He`s become the hottest thing.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Absolutely.
BARRERA: All of the sudden, sexual purity, integrity, compassion and all these things are much more attractive all of the sudden than just being good abs -
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes.
BARRERA: Which, by the way, I think he has as well.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I think he has good abs, too. He has the whole package, as they say. Maria Canals-Barrera, thank you so much.
There are brand-new reports that Demi Moore is seeking treatment for addiction and eating disorders. We cannot confirm that tonight. But what we can say is that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Facebook fans are really supporting Demi.
Kemesha writes, "My heart goes out to her, one woman to another. I feel for her and I wish her the best. Let`s not judge and let`s pray for her."
Absolutely right. Demi is getting love on the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines, too. We got a call from Marge in Michigan. Check it out.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
MARGE, CALLER FROM MICHIGAN: She is such a beautiful lady. She`s got so much life to live and her beautiful children. I hope she gets her life straightened out. And I just wanted to say thank you for covering this story with so much care.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thank you, Marge. So what do you think? Call us at "Showbiz on Call" and sound off about this or anything else that`s on your mind.

Tonight, super-sized SHOWBIZ flashpoints - Gisele`s giant gaffe. Tom Brady`s supermodel wife mouths off after he loses the Super Bowl. But I`ve got to ask, is Gisele serving up super-sized portions of sour grapes?
Kelly kills. Was Kelly Clarkson`s rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl the very best ever?
(singing)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: That isn`t easy. Tonight, the great debate over Kelly`s killer Super Bowl moment. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more from the SHOWBIZ newsroom making news tonight.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That is Taylor Armstrong on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" going ballistic on her co-stars. But it was her late husband, Russell, who is really at the center of her fury.
Taylor has a new book about her road from alleged domestic violence to freedom. It`s called "Hiding from Reality." It is a candid, raw and chilling story. But is it wrong for Taylor Armstrong to profit from her pain?
That is the exact question they asked when Taylor appeared on the "The View" this morning. Taylor said she doesn`t care about the critics. What she cares about is saving the lives of the women who are being abused. That`s important to her.
On "The View," Taylor also revealed why she says she misses the abuse, and how she thinks starring on "The Real Housewives" may have saved her life.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Did you feel more safe having cameras and other people around? Is that why you decided to do it?
TAYLOR ARMSTRONG, REALITY TV STAR, "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS": Yes, I think that the cameras - I thought the cameras would provide me a layer of protection.
You know, people don`t act out at the mall. They act out at home when they`re violent. And so having millions of people with their eyes on our lives - I thought it might help. And I loved him and I wanted us to be together so badly.
JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Did you really?
T. ARMSTRONG: I loved him so much.
BARBARA WALTERS, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Even though he knocked you around, gave you black eyes, hit you in the face, practically killed you and you still loved him?
T. ARMSTRONG: I did.
WALTERS: But in your story, you say you are trying to give advice to other women. And you say that you miss being abused. Do you want to say something about that?
T. ARMSTRONG: Yes, you know, I was someone who did not have a lot of self- esteem and that is what this book is about, and I`m working on that now.
WALTERS: Do you miss being hit in the face?
T. ARMSTRONG: It is not the abuse that you miss. When you are used to living your life on egg shells and that tension and that conflict all of the time, you know, and you`re always - you have to be on guard constantly, once that is gone, you are in control of your own life for the first time.
And I wake up at 40 years old and I realize I`m not very good at this.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Taylor Armstrong right here for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview on Thursday. We go one-on-one with Taylor about her life, death threats and the future. That is this Thursday on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on HLN.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
(MUSIC)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Jane Velez-Mitchell in for A.J. Hammer with big news breaking tonight - on Super Bowl flashpoints tonight.
One of those flashpoints targeted at supermodel Gisele Bundchen who was called a big sore loser today after her quarterback husband, Tom Brady, got whooped - whooped by the New York Giants.
And you are about to hear what Gisele said, because it was all caught on tape. Did she really throw Tom`s teammates under the bus?
With me in New York tonight is talk show queen, the one and only Wendy Williams, host of the hit daytime talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show," and featuring celebrity guest co-host all this weekend.
In Hollywood tonight, Bob Guiney, former star of "The Bachelor" and host of HGTV`s new weekly series, "Showhouse Showdown."
So ladies and gentlemen, just days before the Super Bowl, Gisele sent an E- mail to family and friends asking them to pray for her husband for the big game.
Somebody leaked it and it went viral. But apparently, she forgot to ask for prayers for his receivers, because was Gisele is blaming Tom`s teammates for losing the game.
Her raunchy rant caught on tape by "The Insider." She was being taunted by the Giants` fans as she waited for an elevator after the game. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He didn`t even catch the ball when he was supposed to catch the ball.
BUNDCHEN: My husband cannot (EXPLETIVE DELETED) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: So she is blaming Tom`s receivers for dropping the ball literally, which takes us to our first SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - is Gisele`s rant against her husband`s teammates a case of sour grapes? Or is she just standing by her hunk-o-man. Wendy, what is your vote?
WILLIAMS: She is standing by her man. I mean, it was a sloppy thing for her to do. You know, she should have known that everybody - you know, all eyes were on her and her man and her reaction. You know, she was just being supportive.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, sometimes you are a human being. And you get charged up watching on TV. Imagine like being there and it is your husband on the line. Oh, my gosh. I have compassion for her. I mean, come on.
WILLIAMS: And I don`t know whether she drinks or not, but if she had a few white wines, you know how that is.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: A few spritzers.
WILLIAMS: Oh, something.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: She might be spritzing some words -
WILLIAMS: Yes.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: That she`ll regret the next day. Bob, should Gisele just have zipped it? What`s your vote?
GUINEY: No. You know, I think it`s awesome. I agree with Wendy. I mean, first of all, the Giants` fans are totally taunting her. They`re like, "Eli owned your husband." I mean, that`s not nothing to say.
So it`s like, at the end of the day, I think it`s wonderful she supported her husband. But on the other hand, I know there`s kind of a code and you`re not supposed to say things about the teammates.
But I mean, I say - you know, I say it all the time. I can`t throw the ball and catch it, too. And I`m sure that, ultimately, you know, this may be a little bit more literal than how I am intending it, but the guy - it is the truth.
They did drop some passes when they were in the last drive of the game. And at the end of the day, these guys were heckling her and I think that she was being, you know, defensive and supportive of her husband. I think there`s nothing wrong with that.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. And let`s face it. She is gorgeous even when she`s angry. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to Gisele today.
And while she would not comment, her reps clearly did not think it was a big deal telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Isn`t it that 99 percent of the sports fans curse when they get angry when their teams lose? Don`t you?"
Well, while Gisele was fighting hecklers, that same crowd was singing Kelly Clarkson`s praises. Kelly kicked off the night belting out the National Anthem. Let`s check her out.
(SINGING)
Amazing, but as good as Kelly was, here is the next SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - Kelly Clarkson belting out the National Anthem. Wendy, was it the best Super Bowl anthem performance ever in the history of Super Bowls? Your vote?
WILLIAMS: Well, I can`t say that, but it was good. I mean, it was good. And she was giving good hair and her weight fluctuates. She looked nice.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes. Hey, Bob -
WILLIAMS: I mean, ever? Didn`t Whitney Houston perform at the Super Bowl?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, put it this way. Kelly got the words right, and we have to give her a lot for that, too.
WILLIAMS: She studied her words.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Bob, what is your vote?
GUINEY: Yes, I loved it. I thought it was great. Kelly Clarkson is like one of those things - you know, it is a guilty pleasure.
It`s one of those things that you never want to tell anyone, oh, my god. I love Kelly Clarkson, but you honestly do. Everybody loves Kelly Clarkson.
WILLIAMS: You are telling everybody you love Kelly Clarkson.
GUINEY: I`m telling everybody. I am doing it.
WILLIAMS: Yes.
GUINEY: And I have to say that, honestly, she was great. It was emotional. It was good. The words were right. She didn`t hit any sour notes.
It was simple. It wasn`t like, you know, crazy, over-the-top with anything and theatrical. But it was just really, really good, and I loved it. I thought it was great.
WILLIAMS: Yes. It almost seems like she`s going to be asked next year to perform at halftime. Kelly can do no wrong now. And now, thanks to MIA, they`re going to have to be super-safe. It`s going to be either Kelly or Susan Boyle.
GUINEY: I vote for Kelly again.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Susan Boyle - she would have a lot of love for that performance. Even Josh Groban singing her praises. He tweeted, "Kelly Clarkson ruled that anthem."
And check out this tweet from Pink saying, "Kelly Clarkson killed the National Anthem. Show them how it is done, girl." Big kudos for Kelly`s fantastic performance. Hats off to you.
Of course, a lot is made about the Super Bowl commercials. There was huge controversy over one for Chevy that depicts the near-end of the world according to the Mayan calendar, which include giant attack robots, meteors, frogs falling from the sky. Watch this. You`ve got to see it.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(MUSIC)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Where`s Dave?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dave didn`t drive the longest lasting, most dependable truck on the road. Dave drove a Ford.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Twinkie?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Chevy Silverado at the beginning (UNINTELLIGIBLE) end of the world.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. A lot of people felt today that was really in poor taste, especially Ford which demanded the spot be pulled. So here is our next SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - Chevy`s end of the world ad, clever or bad taste. Bob?
GUINEY: I thought it was clever. Now, I`ve got to say that I`m a Detroit boy, so of course, you know, I`m a Ford supporter, 100 percent. But a GM - you know, I thought it was clever and I thought that the Twinkie thing was really funny.
And another guilty pleasure of mine, and Kelly Clarkson and Twinkies - but I thought that was actually really clever. I mean, I don`t know why, you know, necessarily you would say it`s in poor taste when we have all been talking about 2012 and the Mayan calendar anyways.
So it is just kind of almost like the obvious thing to talk about. But I was kind of bummed out with a lot of the commercials this year. I didn`t think a lot of them were great. But you know, this one didn`t upset me by any means.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: It didn`t upset me. I don`t know why it was offensive. I was trying to think, was it because of the Mayan calendar? Surely enough - here, I understand that you are very passionate about Twinkies.
WILLIAMS: I was not offended at all by that commercial. I thought it was clever. I bet you Ford wishes they thought of it first. And everybody knows that Twinkies don`t expire. Save the Twinkies. What are you doing, Hostess?
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Hostess, Twinkies. Hostess, by the way, FYI, just filed for bankruptcy. And Wendy started a Facebook campaign to save the Twinkie. Why, why, why?
WILLIAMS: Twinkies are sometimes a treat. They are a guilty pleasure. And they`re one of the foods that connects generations, you know - me, my son, my mother - we are all connected through a Twinkie. They`re delicious. They`re nostalgic. They bring back a happier time.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I am happy that they make you happy. Go for it, girl.
WILLIAMS: They come in the 100 calorie packs now, so they go along with your gym regimen.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right -
GUINEY: Nice.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Wendy Williams, Bob Guiney, thank you so very much. And I think both of you should be performing next Super Bowl halftime. I would like to see Wendy Williams out there kicking up a storm.
Be sure to check out "The Wendy Williams Show" all this week with a lineup of very special guest co-hosts. You can see Wendy with Mario Lopez, another one of my favorites tonight on BET. You`ve also got to check out Bob Guiney`s "Showhouse Showdown" on HGTV. It`s a mouthful. It`s a good show.

Is L.A. Reid the lone survivor of the "X Factor" shake-up? And Miley Cyrus hopping mad over people slamming her new tat. It is all making news big news on "The Buzz Today."
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
(voice-over) Miley is riled up. Miley Cyrus has just smacked back at the critics who blasted her over her new tattoo supporting gay marriage.
In a brand-new editorial she just wrote for "Glamour.com," Miley is opening up for the first time about the blowback she got for tweeting a picture of an equal sign tattoo on her finger with the post, "All love is equal."
Miley writes, quote, "A lot of people mocked me. They said, `What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl.` And I said, `Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have the facts straight. Christianity is about love and every American should be allowed the same rights and civil liberties.`"
L.A. saved. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has confirmed that L.A. Reid has survived the "X Factor" implosion. Just days after Simon Cowell blew up "X Factor" and fired most of the cast, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you the Epic Records chairman has signed his name on the dotted line and will be back as a judge for season two.
Simon dumped host Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from his Fox singing competition series last week.
Harry Potter and the bombshell of booze. Daniel Radcliffe has just admitted to being drunk while filming the "Harry Potter" movies. In a brand-new interview with British magazine, "Heat," Radcliffe reveals that though he has since sobered up, he can now pick out scenes in the "Harry Potter" films where is, quote, "just gone" from partying hard the night before.
He says, quote, "I don`t want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily, I mean, nightly. I can honestly say I never drank at work on `Harry Potter.` I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work."

Wow, a drunk and hangover Harry Potter? A shocking detail from Daniel Radcliffe on how bad his drinking really got.
Joining me now Maria Canals-Barrera, star of Disney`s Emmy award winning series, "Wizards of Waverly Place," and Adrianne Curry, reality star and spokesperson for E-Rocks, a brand-new pheromone fragrance. And I`m telling you it`s in the room and it`s working.
All right, ladies. Radcliffe made it clear he did not drink on the job. But let me tell you he had to drink a lot to still be drunk the next day at work. Adrianne, seriously, how shocked are you to hear this confession?
ADRIANNE CURRY, REALITY TV STAR: Well, I`m not too shocked, because having been married to a former child star, I got to meet all his former child star friends. And it seems pretty much in mold of what we do to the children in this industry.
BARRERA: Oh, gosh, I hope not. I hope that the kids on my show stay straight.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, I hope so. But it is true. Child stars who never get the chance to be a kid, so they`re a kid when they`re supposed to be an adult. Daniel Radcliffe was just on "The Wendy Williams Show" Friday. And this is what he had to say about his drinking.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DANIEL RADCLIFFE, ACTOR: I wanted to be really good at it. And I tried - boy, did I try hard. And you know, in the end, it was leading me to a place where I was not really happy in my life. And it is much better now that I have stopped.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I am very happy to hear that, as a recovering alcoholic myself, to hear that he recognized that it was a problem at a young age. But he has also admitted that he has a very addictive personality, which I do as well.
And Maria, you see the pressure that child stars are dealing with firsthand. Do you think that there is reason to worry he`s going to slip or do you think the worst is behind him?
BARRERA: Well, you know, they always say that you should be very conscious of your weakness so that you don`t trip up again. I think the fact that he realizes he needs help, like you said, at such a young age is a tremendous blessing.
And some people go their whole lives and never realize they need help. So I am certainly rooting for him and I hope he doesn`t trip up.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, you know, what is shocking to me is he seems like a goody-goody. He seems like such a good boy. Of all people, I would not have suspected that he would be the one. Ten seconds.
BARRERA: Well, we are all flawed. You have coping mechanisms. For some people, it is shopping and some people, it is drinking. And so we just have to -
VELEZ-MITCHELL: You point to her when you say shopping. That`s not funny.
BARRERA: No.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: It seems like he is in a good place. And tonight, it also looks like Demi Moore is trying to get back on track, we hope.
Demi has reportedly entered a treatment center in Utah, this just weeks after Demi landed in a hospital after a late night party ended with her collapse and her friends calling 911 for help.
Demi`s reps sticking to their statement that she is taking time to deal with exhaustion and improving her health. Adrianne, are you encouraged Demi can kick whatever it is we have heard so many stories that landed her in the hospital?
CURRY: I think she`s going to do a great job. I think the number one thing she needs to do before checking in is key jerk in Ashton`s car. And I think that will really make her feel a lot better.
BARRERA: Imagine, you know, to be betrayed in your marriage is just devastating. And you know, it is not about her. She wrote an article about, you know, how she wants to feel love. And she doesn`t know if she is lovable.
And I was talking to my husband about this, and he said, "You know what? It is about the other person`s lack of respect or lack of character." And it is sad that she is blaming herself and going through such a terrible time right now. I totally am rooting for her, too, you know.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: I absolutely am, as well. I mean, she`s just a wonderful, beautiful woman who has so much to give to the world. She has fought against child slavery. She`s fought -
You know, the world needs Demi. And they need her healthy and happy, so we are rooting for you, all the girls here at SHOWBIZ.
BARRERA: Go.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Yes, let`s go.
CURRY: Woo-hoo!
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Adrianne Curry, Maria Canals-Barrera, thank you so much. Now, make sure you pick up Adrianne`s love fragrance of choice called E- Rocks available now. And I`m telling you -
BARRERA: I think she`s wearing it because we`re hitting it off here.
CURRY: Getting closer and closer.
BARRERA: It is a unisex fragrance.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Watch out people. You may attract somebody you don`t want to attract.
CURRY: Oh.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Dangerous. A lot of fun going on here in the SHOWBIZ set this evening. Tomorrow, Maria is the host of the first annual INTAR Theater gala, a celebration of Latino theater. So go to "INTARTheater.org" for more information.
Tonight, Christina Aguilera`s award. Well, you wouldn`t call it an award-winning (UNINTELLIGIBLE) old pal. Quite the contrary. Christina can recognize a good voice when she hears it.
But did she recognize an old friend who just sang for her on "The Voice." You`ve got to see this next. Unbelievable. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news tonight.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That is a very young Christina Aguilera singing her little heart out on the "Mickey Mouse Club." You can barely recognize her.
Tonight, you`ve got to see Christina`s big "Mickey Mouse Club" reunion with a guy she didn`t even recognize.
But first a little Hollywood Valentine matchmaking. We all know Madonna and J. Lo are hot and heavy with their 20-something studs. But come on, is that real love? Who should they really be dating if they want their love to last?
Back with me, Adrianne Curry, who is launching a hot new pheromone fragrance called E Rocks just in time for Valentine`s Day.
Got to start Adrianne with Madonna. She`s got her 24-year-old boyfriend. Adrianne, aside from, let say, spritzing on some E Rocks, who would you match her with for real love?
CURRY: For real love - I mean, we all know boy toys are fun for second. But the immaturity in even an older man is off-putting, you know what I`m saying?
I think what they need - I think Madonna needs someone like a George Clooney, another cad that can`t settle down, someone who can play her game and just keep her interested and on her toes, because you know, the younger guys, she controls them.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Now, what about J. Lo?
CURRY: J. Lo, right now, her heart still hurts, so I understand why she`s going after the younger guy, because, you know, they always say the best way to get over somebody is to get with somebody new.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Of course, rebound.
CURRY: Yes. That`s not going to last. I think J. Lo needs a strong, powerful and confident man, because something just tells me she didn`t have someone who`s confident enough for her.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, she`s got confidence for a dozen people. Thank you Adrianne Curry. And you can pick up Adrianne`s preferred scent of love, E Rocks, available right now.
And did you see this? Christina Aguilera reunites with a long-lost friend from the "Mickey Mouse Club." On the season premier of "The Voice" last night, Christina listened to Tony Lucas` voice and even saw his face, but she did not realize he was an old friend until after she hit her judge`s button.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CHRISTINA AGUILERA, JUDGE, "THE VOICE": It does take a true talent to come along and jolt us out of the seats. Oh, my god, you know who that guy was? I was on the "Mickey Mouse Club" with him. That is so weird.
TONY LUCAS, FORMER MEMBER, "MICKEY MOUSE CLUB": Thank you very much.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m so happy for you.
LUCAS: What happened with Christina? I thought you were going the say something. We were watching, and all of a sudden, you were like - you were off of the stage.
AGUILERA: Where is my old Mouseketeer buddy?
LUCAS: Clearly, by the way she handled her thing was like just matter-of- factly.
AGUILERA: Oh, my gosh.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We were just talking about you.
AGUILERA: I did not even recognize. How are you?
LUCAS: Just fine. Oh, my god. How are you?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Tony picked Christina`s nemesis, Adam Levine, for a mentor, but she said no hard feelings.
And that is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Jane Velez-Mitchell in for A.J. Hammer. Remember, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusively weeknights at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.
