Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with big news breaking tonight - Pippa`s pistol problem. And talk about a royal mess.
Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you the brand-new revelations today about Pippa Middleton`s partying in Paris and what really happened when the driver of a car that she was in seemed to be waving a gun at the paparazzi.
Now, let us not forget, it was almost exactly one year ago when Pippa wowed the world and just seemed to steal the spotlight during her sister Kate`s wedding to Prince William.
And now, a year later, it would seem the royals might have an embarrassing Pippa problem on their hands. She may not be an official member of the royal family.
But you have to think that sister Kate might be thinking of giving Pippa a ring on the telly and telling sis to, you know, cool it.
CNN royal correspondent, Max Foster, has been all over this royal mess. He is with us tonight from London.
So Max, a lot of big, burning questions obviously about Pippa`s pistol predicament tonight. My first burning question is about that photo, because it is clear in the photo that Pippa is laughing as her friend is pointing the gun.
So my question is, what is Pippa`s biggest problem right now as you see it?
MAX FOSTER, CNN ROYAL CORRESPONDENT: Well, you say laughing. There are people that contradict that, you know, and they say she`s not laughing. She`s just caught off guard.
This is the picture we`re all talking about. It was in "The Sun" on Monday. They paid a huge amount of money for it, and the story has really exploded since then.
You can see that the guy in the front seat is firing this pistol. And it caused a huge amount of concern in France because there`s been a whole range of gun-related incidents recently that have caused a lot of concern.
They say it`s very, very tasteless. Today, though, we did hear from the guy here sitting in the backseat with his cap on. He was hosting Pippa in Paris.
His name is Otto Desultre(ph). He is a French aristocrat. He said it was a toy pistol, so it was a key point. It wasn`t a real pistol. It couldn`t cause any harm.
And Pippa had no idea he was going to do that and told him to stop immediately, the guy in the front. She did not find it funny, A.J. So contradictions on how she was responding here.
HAMMER: But regardless of the reality of what happened, Max, you know that the royals cannot be too thrilled about Pippa`s pistol predicament. So my next burning question here is what is the royal`s reaction to all of this?
FOSTER: Well, the royals - I was at the Buckingham Palace today, A.J., and I`ll tell you that it was the big topic of conversation. I was there to cover the queen`s jubilee event and we were talking about Pippa.
But no officials will be drawn exclusively on this matter. They`re all aware of it. It is exploding. We`re on day three of this story.
And headlines like this, which are now emerging - this is "The Daily Mail," very strong on royal stories, "Dwarves, Chastity Belts and Why Pippa is Missing the Man Who Could Rein Her In."
There is real sense that she`s lost control. Now, the point here is, the palace won`t speak on her behalf because she`s not a royal.
And there is a - you know, the monarchy is publicly-funded, so they don`t want to be seen to be putting money to the private sector as it were.
But you know, they would also rather not get involved in this one. It is embarrassing though.
HAMMER: Yes. I can`t imagine how Kate is feeling right about now. CNN royal correspondent, Max Foster, form London tonight. Thanks so much, Max.
So here`s our SHOWBIZ flashpoint on Pippa`s pistol drama, is it time for Pippa to explain herself and apologize?
With me from Hollywood is Matt Grant, who is former cast member on "The Bachelor" is a native of Bishop`s Stortford near London. Also joining me, Melanie Bromley, who is a senior correspondent with E!
And Melanie, to you first with our SHOWBIZ flashpoint - does Pippa have some explaining to do and owe an apology?
MELANIE BROMLEY, SENIOR CORRESPONDENT, E!: I actually think she does, and I think she should move on and hope that people forget about this very, very quickly.
Obviously, it`s the first very embarrassing thing she`s done for her sister. And so I hope and I know that she will want people to forget about it.
But I think if she starts publicly addressing it, it will become an even bigger deal.
HAMMER: You have to imagine she`s not happy about what is going on at all, and I`m sure she feels very badly about it. And while Pippa hasn`t apologized, the friend that was in the car - not the gun pointer but another friend, released this statement.
And this is what they said, "Pippa had no idea he was going to do that and told him to stop immediately. She did not find it funny."
He went on to say, "I regret enormously that this incident happened and especially that Pippa has been subject to subsequent attention through no fault of her own."
Matt, what do you think? Should Pippa explain herself and apologize?
MATT GRANT, FORMER CAST MEMBER, "THE BACHELOR": Well, she`s gone somewhere today, Matt, with obviously asking her friends to make these comments. But I think it`s really embarrassing.
But listen, this is a 27-year-old who has gone from zero to huge amounts levels of global fame in a very short period of time. And I think she`s maybe just letting herself get a little bit overrun with it all.
HAMMER: Yes. I can imagine how easy it would be to get caught up in everything. There is a lot of attention being focused on her. She, of course, is not even a member of the royal family, but of course her sister Kate is/
And you have to wonder how this does look to the royal family, how it affects them. Well, there was actually a debate about that between "Today" show host Matt Lauer and NBC`s Martin Bashir. Watch this.

MARTIN BASHIR, NBC CORRESPONDENT: This year is hugely important to the United Kingdom. It is the queen`s diamond jubilee. It is the London 2012 Olympics. This is the last thing the royal family needs.
MATT LAUER, CO-ANCHOR, THE "TODAY" SHOW: Except these things tend to go away. The royal family has survived, if not thrived, in the wake of some other incidents of young people behaving badly. We don`t have to catalog all the incidents involving Prince Harry.

HAMMER: Yes. I mean, that`s very true, Melanie. Prince Harry who is, of course, a member of the royal family, has really gotten himself into hot water plenty of times when you think about it.
So do you think this actually will just go away for Pippa? Or is the press over there going to hound on it so much that maybe it won`t go away so quickly?
BROMLEY: Well, I think it will go away as long as she learns from this experience and really moves on from it. The thing about Harry is he`s always taken his role as a spare heir very seriously and partied.
But he`s also become a lot more mature in recent years. And Pippa, bless her, you know, she hasn`t been in the limelight for very long. This is a learning experience that she has to learn very, very fast.
HAMMER: Matt, this was home for you. You know how the British press tends to hang onto stuff when it involves the royal family and some kind of a scandal. Do you think it will go away quickly for her?
GRANT: Yes. I think, you know, the British press is obviously renowned for being pretty cutthroat. You know, I think that she needs to just move on.
And you know, she`s always got Fergie to make things better, because however much you make an idiot out of yourself, you can guarantee that Fergie will top you, excuse the (UNINTELLIGIBLE).
HAMMER: Well, it will be interesting to see if they`re having conversations about that and she`s being a sympathetic ear.
And let`s not forget, very seriously, that it was in Paris where Princess Diana was chased by the paparazzi and, of course, died in that fiery car crash.
A lot of people are saying the paparazzi are hounding Pippa the same way they hounded Princess Di. Is the way she is acting, Melanie, inviting that frenzy? Or would it be going on in any event, do you think?
BROMLEY: That`s a really interesting question, actually, because the press is definitely trying to give her a little bit of space.
There have been some complaints about the paparazzi. But going to Paris and dressing in a fancy dress costume and hanging out with Paris party boys is encouraging the attention a little bit. But it is a learning curve, as I said.
HAMMER: Sure.
BROMLEY: So hopefully, this is going to, you know, start a new era for Pippa.
HAMMER: It will be interesting to see if it fizzles away quickly. Matt Grant and Melanie Bromley, I thank you both.

PETER FRAMPTON, MUSICIAN: I did do "American Bandstand" in the later years, and he was very gracious to have me on. So yes, I did an interview with him once in the `70s.
Yes, he was an institution, our Dick. He had a great TV show. That, I think, was - what was the main thing, "American Bandstand," which, you know - you were nobody if you didn`t do that show. So I think it furthered a lot of people`s careers, obviously.
DICK CLARK, TV HOST: You know, it`s very hard for me to realize, I mentioned at the top of the show in 1969, Diana Ross invited me to a place called The Daisy to meet these funny little guys from Gary, Indiana.
Michael Jackson looked like a midget, like a brown squirrel. He was this itty, bitty little kid with a squeaky voice. Now, he`s a big kid with a squeaky voice. They`re handsome young men and they`ve all grown and matured.

And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that there are reports that it could have a bigger opening weekend than "The Hunger Games" did. Well, tonight, the coolest avenger is in the house. We are one on one in the house with Nick Fury, a.k.a. Samuel L. Jackson.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, Sam sounds off. We`re going to talk to Samuel L. Jackson about the amazing Avengers in just a moment.
But first, the actor and activist gets personal in a brand-new SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview about the Trayvon Martin case.
It obviously has gripped Hollywood and the entire nation. And tonight, Sam tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter about what he hopes is next as this gripping case unfolds.

KAREEN WYNTER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CORRESPONDENT: It`s such an important place in Hollywood, gosh, over the decades, you know, not just when it comes to film.
SAMUEL L. JACKSON, ACTOR: Did you see this?
WYNTER: Yes. It`s amazing. You`ve been in more than 100 films.
S. JACKSON: Nine decades. He`s been saying things for nine decades.
WYNTER: But you know the power that Samuel L. Jackson carries, whether it`s, you know, on film, sounding off on social issues, politics. Have you been watching the Trayvon Martin case and the developments with that?
S. JACKSON: Some of it.
WYNTER: What are your thoughts? I know we just heard from Bill Cosby. Are you, you know, as politically charged as America is right now in terms of race and really bringing this to the forefront?
S. JACKSON: I don`t know that that changes anything. I mean, there`s somebody somewhere right now is being stopped or pulled over or beat down or whatever because of, you know, their race or whatever. That just happens.
The fact that, you know, there was kind of a travesty of justice in terms of somebody being arrested, stopped and kind of charged in a specific way for discharging a weapon, period, in a civilized society was kind of ridiculous.
So now we at least have an opportunity to take it through a systematic analysis and, hopefully, the right result will come from it.
WYNTER: What`s your take this important election year as it relates to Obama and perhaps staying in the White House. What does he need to do, perhaps get a little tough?
S. JACKSON: He can stay upright pretty much with who he`s running against. If he stays upright, he should win. And hopefully, if he does win and since he doesn`t have to be concerned with reelection this time, he can get something done.

HAMMER: You can`t ever say that Samuel L. Jackson doesn`t speak his mind, right? You`ve got to love that. The only thing I love more is when Sam is right up there on the big screen.
And now, one of the coolest dudes on the planet also makes for a super-cool leader of "The Avengers." And Sam says he had a ball playing the boss after really only being featured in small parts in big action movies like "Iron Man" and "Thor." Watch this.

WYNTER: Well, Samuel, loved you in this film. And what was unique is you`re calling the shots from the beginning, the middle, the end.
S. JACKSON: Well, I kind of -
WYNTER: No, you are. You are. You are driving it.
S. JACKSON: I`m pretty psyched about where Nick is right now and where we`ve come to in terms of who he is and where (UNINTELLIGIBLE), hell carriers and all the toys that are around and the people that you trust and has in his organization that means something to him.
It`s an interesting kind of superhero movie because there are certain points when you see these guys with doubt.
You know, most of the time superheroes have that look of determination and they get it. And they go and get things done, you know. These guys have some doubt from time to time.
WYNTER: And let`s talk about the humor. I was laughing throughout the whole - it was amazing and it kind of caught me by surprise.
S. JACKSON: Yes. Well, that`s the one thing that I think people have gotten wrong for a very long time. Now, Joss understands because he knows this genre and he knows it so well.
He created so many great, you know, comic books when you say based on the comic, based on the comic book hero or the comic series. People forget the comic part of it, and he didn`t.

HAMMER: Well, "The Avengers" doesn`t open until May 4, but Sam is already planning for his next shot at playing Nick Fury.
There is talk that Samuel will finally be starring as Nick Fury in his own spinoff movie in the franchise. He`s already said he wants Scarlett Johansson to star in it with him. Our thanks again to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there on the red carpet at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles, Wednesday night as musicians got the shocking news of the death of Dick Clark. Peter Frampton and Carly Simon each shared their personal memories of the beloved entertainment icon with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
FRAMPTON: I did do "American Bandstand" in the later years. And he was very gracious, had me on. So yes, I did an interview with him once in the `70s. Yes, he was an institution.
CARLY SIMON, MUSICIAN: He was the producer of a show that I did on "Film Noir" not so long ago when I was in Los Angeles, and he was such a charming man.
He was so decent and so articulate and so in love with music, and just a genuinely good man. and we`ll all, of course, miss him.
HAMMER: Clark suffered a heart attack while undergoing an outpatient procedure in a hospital in Santa Monica, Wednesday. He was 82 years old.
"Desperate Housewives" redo. Former "Desperate Housewives" star, Nicolette Sheridan, has just won a new trial date for her wrongful termination lawsuit against ABC.
A Los Angeles judge has set September 10th as the date the second trial will begin in Sheridan`s case. She claims she was fired after complaining about an alleged altercation with "Housewives" creator Marc Cherry.
A mistrial was declared last month after a Los Angeles jury could not reach a verdict.
Stars without makeup. Jennifer Love Hewitt has just shared a very personal picture of her naked face with her Twitter followers.
Hewitt tweeted a brand-new snapshot of herself Tuesday, writing, "The no makeup look, glam look to follow." She now joins stars like Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian and Snooki who have all recently revealed their clean scrubbed side.

Who can forget those explosive, expletive-filled taped voicemails that Mel left for his ex-girlfriend. Well, tonight, these are brand-new tapes. These are going to make your ears hurt.
TheWrap.com just posted an audio recording of Mel they say came from legendary screenwriter Joe Esterhaus who was working on a movie with Mel until the two of them had a falling out.
Esterhaus had claimed that Mel threatened to kill his ex and has now released a tape that he says his son recorded of Mel in December while at Mel`s house in Costa Rica.
Joe says Mel was furious because he didn`t get a draft of a movie they were working on together called "the Maccabees." Listen to this.

HAMMER: Yikes. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT cannot authenticate the recording is of Mel, but I can tell you, and you can hear it, it is explosive.
With us tonight from Hollywood, former prosecutor Robin Sax who has represented Gibson`s ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.
Robin is also author of this book "Predators and Child Molesters." Robin, thanks for being here.
ROBIN SAX, FORMER PROSECUTOR: Thank you, A.J. Nice to see you.
HAMMER: Good to see you as well. Now, before this tape came out, Esterhaus had been making his claims about Mel Gibson public, including that Mel went on another anti-Semitic rant, that Mel openly threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and derailed the movie that they were working on together.
You can clearly hear Mel saying he doesn`t have a script for the movie, "The Maccabees." Robin, does this tape now spell new trouble for Mel Gibson in your mind?
SAX: Listen, this spells trouble all over the place. It spells new trouble in the media and in the world of public relations, certainly not helping his already marred past.
But it also has the potential for this to be cause for Oksana to go to court. And I`ll tell you, if I was representing Oksana now for two reasons, I would absolutely take him to court.
One is that there is a huge issue as to whether or not he can act in the best interests of the child that they have together and should have any sort of custody and whether that should be arranged.
And for number two, for no other reason, just to yank his chain, I would bring him to court.
HAMMER: Yes. Well, there is that option, too. I think, you know, yet again, he is going to be dragged through the mud in the media.
And if, indeed, that is him, I`ve got to say he deserves it. Well, during one part of the ranting, we hear the man Joe says is Mel referring to earning money for someone who he says takes advantage of him. Listen to this.

HAMMER: And that`s amazing to me. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to Mel`s camp today, and they say that Mel is not commenting right now.
We also reached out to Oksana today. We didn`t hear from her but we heard from her lawyer who tells us, "Oksana cannot talk to the press. I heard the tape and was horrified by it. Gibson is clearly sliding down into a hole."
"He`s far worse now than any time I`ve heard him. I`ve heard other tapes and seen him with people, but I`ve never seen him so violent, so furious, and so out of control."
"Anyone who opposes him, including Oksana and their child, Lucy, would be terrified."
Now, Robin, Oksana cannot talk to the press, but she can go to a judge and say as a result of this tape, she is worried about her safety, can`t she?
SAX: That`s right. There is no doubt that she has some sort of non- disclosure agreement in the original settlement that they had. And by the way, that was a financial settlement.
Child custody always can be revisited. It would be against public policy to say you can never go back to court and re-evaluate whether or not some parent is acting in their child`s best interest or not.
So she can make statements in court and can be completely constitutionally protected to make those statements regardless of a non-disclosure agreement.
And I`ll tell you another thing, HLN may not have authenticated those tapes. But if you remember tapes of Oksana in the past and you play them next together, you can hear the glaring similarity in tone, in language and words between those tapes a couple of years ago and these now.

I don`t know what kind of ring, but it has a ring. We just found that about Kim`s possible plan to become mayor when she revealed to her sister, Khloe.

HAMMER: Wow. Now, Kim is of Armenian descent so she could have a built-in base to work with there. But really, does Kim honestly have a chance of becoming mayor?
With me tonight in New York, I`m so please to have Jay Hayden here. He`s currently starring in "Battleground." It is Hulu`s first original scripted series.
In Hollywood tonight, Rachel Zalis, contributing editor to "Life and Style."
All right. So can you imagine the signs now? "Vote for Kim! Vote for Kim!" I can picture them all over the neighborhood, right, hanging on the trees?
Now, look, we can say that Kim is certainly a savvy businesswoman, a marketing genius, but a mayor, Rachel? I mean, really, stranger things have happened. We all know this, but does this just sound nuts to you?
RACHEL ZALIS, CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, "LIFE AND STYLE": I mean, I think she`s more likely to win an Academy Award than be mayor of Glendale. But I mean, you can`t even run to be mayor.
You have to be in the city council for four years making $30,000. She makes more money in one tweet. There`s no way this is going to happen, but if it did, it would be my favorite reality show, "Kim and Kanye Conquer Glendale." Can you imagine how good that could be?
HAMMER: Perfect maybe.
ZALIS: I love it.
HAMMER: Maybe she has a running mate right there. Let me turn to political strategist Jay Hayden now. Jay at least plays one on TV , stars in Hulu`s "Battleground" which revolves around a political candidate.
And you play the head campaign strategist. So I`m really going to come to you right now. Help her out. What`s her strategy? What does she need to do to become mayor of Glendale, California, Jay?
JAY HAYDEN, ACTOR: What does Kim Kardashian need to do to become mayor? Well, she would probably need to know where Glendale is first.
HAMMER: I hope she does.
HAYDEN: And if not, she probably needs to not ask the question, "Who is Glendale?" She needs to get the right people in her camp, the right people to support her.
And probably - she`s got Ray J behind her, but other than that, we don`t know what she`s really got going on. Honestly, I want to see it happen.
Can you imagine her having a Mayor Giuliani moment where she has to put out some kind of fire or some kind of natural disaster that she needs to handle?
HAMMER: She would do it very fashionably, Jay, I know. But really need to help her out immediately with a little political reality check here.
Now, Kim apparently doesn`t know this, I don`t think. Somebody may have told her this by now. Glendale voters don`t elect a mayor. You`ve got to become a city councilmember first and then the council chooses a mayor.
It`s sort of a ceremonial position, Rachel. Can you see Kim actually waiting it out, attending some hearings, as a councilwoman on - I don`t know - putting in a speed bump or stop sign while she waits her turn to be mayor?
ZALIS: Absolutely not. I mean, listen, I think she kind of threw this out offhand. I don`t think she actually meant it pretty seriously that she was going to be mayor.
But I do think her first initiative is going to changing California to a K, so she has big plans for when she takes this office.
HAMMER: Yes. I think that would make perfect sense. And perhaps she`ll spell Glendale with a K somehow. I don`t know.
ZALIS: That, too.
HAMMER: But Kim`s ex, Kris with a K Humphries doesn`t seem to be buying her possible run for office. Kris reportedly is saying there isn`t anything Kim wouldn`t do because she is so publicity hungry.
Now, call me a cynic here, Jay. Please, call me a cynic.
HAYDEN: You`re a cynic.
HAMMER: Yes. Do you think that, maybe, quite possibly, there is a small chance, just a little bit of a chance that she is doing this perhaps to launch yet another reality show? People would watch.
HAYDEN: I think there is a huge chance, because the fact of the matter is, would you watch a show where she was mayor of anything? Yes. Yes, you would.
You want to see her try to make laws. You want to see her try to put Prada shoes on police officers. You want to see her do that kind of stuff.
HAMMER: I guess I do. I`ll watch the show. I`m there. Rachel Zalis, Jay Hayden -

HAMMER: Tonight, "Jersey Shore" secrets. Tough times there for Vinny from "Jersey Shore." We all watched as he revealed how he has battled chronic anxiety for years.
Well, tonight, Vinny is sharing his painful story to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and revealing to us how he plans to get through the next season of the show.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, "Jersey Shore" secrets revealed.
We saw Vinny`s issues all come to a head on the most recent season of "Jersey Shore," this season, when Vinny made that painful decision to leave Seaside Heights.
He`s now reviewing everything in this new tell-all book, "Control the Crazy: My Plans to Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama and Maintain Inner Cool," which sounds like a good idea for all. Vinny with me in New York for a SHOWBIZ newsmaker interview. Great to have you back, Vinny.
VINNY GUADAGNINO, REALITY TV STAR: Thanks for having me.
HAMMER: It really is amazing to me your story what you revealed and what you have gone through, because you are, to everybody, really, Mr. Calm, Cool and Collected on the show.
So I`m really curious how it was to sort of deal with these major anxiety issues when the whole world was watching you.
GUADAGNINO: Yes. I mean, there is a reason why I`m the cool, calm and collected one. It`s because I`ve been in these dark places before, so I`ve learned how to get out of them and how to stay chill and avoid drama.
But sometimes, when I relapse, that`s when you can see why I`m always the cool and calm one, because, you know, I`ve read a lot of self-help books.
HAMMER: So this guy we`re seeing like right now and on the show, that wasn`t always the guy.
GUADAGNINO: You know what? Ninety-nine percent of my life, I`m OK. You know, people really do have anxiety disorders, depression, however you want to label it, that it`s really serious.
They can`t even leave their house sometimes, you know. For me it never got that far. It`s just that at certain points in my life, and I`ve learned why over time, I can really fall into these anxious states where I can go for like having the blues for weeks at a time.
HAMMER: And you`re saying that and I think there are people who are watching right now and particularly people who really watch your show, a very young audience, teenagers, who go through the same thing, yet they don`t have somebody to look to who also has been through it for you.
And this is something perhaps our viewers, some of them, can relate to. How did it manifest itself? How did it become crazy, as you say?
GUADAGNINO: You know, when it starts to interfere with your life and what you`re doing. I think everybody has a bad day and, you know, gets anxious about something.
But when it starts to interfere with your job, with school, with your relationships with people, that`s when I think that you have to seek help and look out to people.
And you`re right. You know, I read a ton of self-help books and I look up to those spiritual masters in the field, like Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra. But I never had anybody my age that was kind of sharing this message.
HAMMER: There aren`t a lot of 15-year-olds, 16-year-olds who watch your show who are looking up to those people that you mentioned. And as you said, we saw this come to a head in your season when you decided to make probably a difficult decision and head home. Let`s take a look at that.

GUADAGNINO: I can`t function in this environment. I want to go home. I love you. I have to go home.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. OK. Let`s go.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Like, he`s really gone.

HAMMER: You wound up coming back. You really left, but you did come back. Did coming back on the show make your anxiety any worse? I mean, what kind of drama did you guys have to deal with?
GUADAGNINO: You know, it always gets to - when it`s like that, it always gets to a point - it stays just stagnant. It just stays the same. It doesn`t get worse.
It just puts me in a crappy mood 24 hours a day. And I know why it happens. It`s because I don`t eat right. I don`t sleep right for long period of time.
And for me and people prone to these types of things, unhealthy lifestyles can lead to all these things. And that`s what I discussed in the book. There is a lot I didn`t realize that was happening from partying.
HAMMER: Alcohol can`t help. I mean -
GUADAGNINO: We went from Italy right to Jersey. We were drinking every night and I hadn`t seen the sunlight.
HAMMER: It`s not going to spiral out of control even if they`re not dealing with the issues that you had.
GUADAGNINO: Or even if people don`t have cameras in their face 24 hours a day.
HAMMER: Yes. It`s great to see though how you`ve remained so ambitious. You wrote the book "Control the Crazy." I love the title of it. You`ve always been this ambitious guy.
You`re a Poli Sci major. You`ve worked with an assemblyman in New York. I`m curious if you have political aspirations, because now we`re hearing Kim Kardashian possibly running for mayor.
GUADAGNINO: Maybe I`ll run against her.
HAMMER: Would you ever run as mayor of Seaside Heights.
GUADAGNINO: You know, I have the popular vote, but I think I have a stigma to break, and that`s what I`m doing with my book.
But I was going to law school before I was going to be on "Jersey Shore," so I always had political aspirations. Maybe one day we`ll see, if I can break the stereotype and people can take me seriously as a politician.
HAMMER: I think yes. You certainly will have a lot of people holding up signs for you.
GUADAGNINO: Yes. I`ll have haters, too. But that comes with the territory.
HAMMER: That comes with the territory. Great to see you, Vinny.
GUADAGNINO: Thanks for having me back.

HAMMER: Tonight, I`ve got a story that will just give you the chills, the brand-new disturbing allegations against a Canadian man accused of impersonating Justin Bieber just so that he could have sex with a young girl.
I mean, this is just sick. Police in Toronto say that the guy posed as Biebs on Facebook and he actually tricked a 12-year-old girl in New Jersey into believing she was chatting with the pop star online.
Now, prosecutors just revealed this guy, 34-year-old Lee Moore, pretended to be Bieber, pressured the girl to perform cybersex acts on her Web cam and then threatened to post the video on a porn site. Watch what the prosecutor said.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She believed this to be the true Justin Bieber and began to start a relationship with him, E-mailing back and forth. He began making demands that she show herself on the camera, that she engage in acts of undress and acts of - sexual (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

HAMMER: Joining me tonight from Atlanta is Atty. Sunny Hostin who is a legal analyst for "In Session" on our sister network, Tru TV.
And I mean, Sunny, like me, I`m sure you are horrified. We heard the prosecutor there. This poor girl thinks she`s chatting away with her teen idol and she gets caught up in this outrageous situation.
It is so disturbing, but sadly, I`m guessing these online sex scams must happen all the time, don`t they?
ATTY. SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL ANALYST, "IN SESSION": Yes, and that`s what`s troubling here, A.J. It`s so disturbing, but for me having tried child sex crimes, it wasn`t surprising.
There are predators out there that prey on children, especially on the Internet, because they crave the anonymity that the Internet provides.
Many of them think that they will never be caught, and they`re fueled by sort of that insanity, that depravity that sexual predators suffer from.
So it`s so disturbing, but it`s a cautionary tale for parents out there that they have to watch what their children are doing on the Internet.
And a 12-year-old - I mean, we`re talking about a very, very young girl. They have to have all the parental controls and they have to be on the lookout, because this happens, A.J., in my view, every single day around our country.
HAMMER: Yes. Make it clear to your kids. If you think you`re chatting with Justin Bieber on the Internet, you`re not chatting with Justin Bieber.
And we reached out to Bieber`s reps today. They told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT they have no comment on what happened. Do you think, Sunny, that there is anything that Justin Bieber should do or say? Or is it best that he just stays out of it?
HOSTIN: You know, that`s a tough one. I think there are things that he can say, no question about it, in terms of making certain that people know that he`s not on the Internet in that way.
I think that that`s an important thing that he can do because he has so many fans. And when you are sort of that young teen idol, I do think that you have a responsibility to protect those fans.
HAMMER: Yes. And he`s been very good, very good about doing what he can to help his fans. I hope they throw away the key on this guy. Sunny Hostin, thanks as always.
HOSTIN: Thanks.
